Reunion of Old Friends on Tiny Island
Krillin can see that things are getting a little heated between Bulma and Master Roshi, so he decided to ask a little question that he's been wondering for a while now.
"Oh yeah, that reminds me. Where's Yamcha? I thought he'd be with you." Krillin asked, haven't seen his fellow student of the Turtle School.
"Yamcha… That jerk!" Bulma became angry upon hearing that name.
"How should I know? He could be out chasing every girl in the city for all I care. I'm done with him! I didn't even tell him we were getting together today." Bulma was angered that Yamcha is thinking about other cute girls.
"But who needs that guy, right? We can still have fun without him!" Bulma proclaimed, wanting to forget about her ex-boyfriend.
"Guess nothing change with those two either." Roshi said, feeling a little sad for those two.
"Nope, guess not." Krillin agreed. Guess he could try getting in touch with Yamcha himself.
But Krillin is a little saddened that Yamcha couldn't be here since they trained under the same master of the martial art Turtle School, he would like to see if he kept up with his training outside of chasing after pretty schools.
"Anyway, why isn't Launch here?" Bulma asked, remembering there's another woman in the group who lived in Kami House.
"Oh, she's long gone. She went chasing Tien Shinhan five years ago." Krillin answered.
Krillin sat down the box full of sweet dumplings on the table that he couldn't wait to start eating some, he just couldn't help himself when it comes to sweets.
"(I can't to see Goku again, it's been too long!)" Krillin thought felt excited to see his best friend again after five years.
(With Raditz)
Raditz is flying at incredible speed in order to meet up with the being having the higher power level than the green man he met earlier, his scouter tells him that the strong power level is also moving at incredible speed as well.
"(Very good, this power level is moving fast.)" Raditz thought smirked and flew into that direction.
Raditz believes this strong power level is to be the one called Kakarot, and he is going to find him.
(With the Son Family)
Goku and his family are flying over the ocean until they can see the little punk house above them.
"Hey, we're here. Master Roshi's place." Goku announced.
"That's his house? It's so small and pink." Pan was surprised to see the place where her dad's master is living in and on a very small island too.
"Not what you expect from the martial artist master, but he seems to be the kind of guy who like to live out here for some peace and quiet." Chi-Chi said.
The family gets off from the cloud as Goku can sense three other presences here, that means his friends are here.
"Hello!" Goku called out.
Hearing that familiar voice got Bulma, Krillin, and Master Roshi along with their talking turtle friend Turtle.
"Goku!" Bulma smiled as they ran out the door to see them.
"And Chi-Chi is here too!" Krillin was surprised to see Chi-Chi here, guess she wanted to be included to the group.
"Hi!" Goku greeted, feeling glad to see his friends and mentor again.
"It's nice to see all of you." Chi-Chi smiled at them.
The three friends were happy to see Goku and Chi-Chi again since the last time they saw them was at the end of the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament where Goku defeated Piccolo and won Chi-Chi's heart, but they notice a little girl with them who waves at them.
"Hold on a minute, is that girl with both of yours?" Bulma asked shock.
"No way, you two already started a family together!" Krillin was shocked.
"That's right, she's our daughter." Goku nodded.
"Oh my…?!" Roshi gasped.
"Sweetie, these are our friends. Say hi to them." Chi-Chi ordered softly.
"Hi, my name is Son Pan, it's nice to meet all of you." Pan greeted politely with a bow, they greeted back to the girl.
"So, you named her Pan. That's quite a unique name." Krillin commented.
"Thank you, we tried to come up with a few times rather we would have a boy or a girl, and when Pan was born, the name came to us." Chi-Chi explained.
"Oh, and what name would you have given your child if she was a boy instead?" Roshi asked curiously.
"Gohan." Goku answered.
"Oh, so after your grandfather." Roshi smiled, seeing that Goku wants to honor the man who raised him.
"We decided to give that name to the first boy should we get one when we're ready to have another child." Chi-Chi explained.
"Aw, that's sweet of you." Roshi nodded of approval.
While the grownups are talking, Pan look over to see Turtle is looking at her with a friendly smile and she greets him with her smile.
"Aren't you a cutie!" Bulma complimented to the little girl as she kneels down for eye level.
"How old are you?" Bulma asked.
"I'm four and a half, and I'll be five in the other half, miss." Pan answered with confidence.
"Wow, you sure sound confident in yourself. Must've gotten that from Goku." Bulma commented.
"She did, but she is also polite." Chi-Chi nodded.
"Hello there." Pan greeted the turtle who goes up to her some more.
"Huh, a tail?" Bulma noticed the brown monkey tail on Pan.
"Uh-huh, just like I used to have. Remember?" Goku mentioned the days when Goku used to be the boy with a tail.
"Oh yeah." Krillin remembered.
"It was really cute that Pan was brown with a tail, just like her father. I made sure to help her take good care of it since it's a part of her body and all. Oh, how I wish I could take a picture of her and Goku with tails together." Chi-Chi giggled.
"So, huh, Goku, Chi-Chi, … Have you two notice anything, I don't know… Strange about your girl?" Bulma asked a little nervously.
"Strange? Are you trying to say something bad about our daughter?" Chi-Chi asked, not like where this was going.
"No, no, we promise it's nothing like that!" Roshi assured as he buts in the conversation.
"What Bulma means is does Pan act anything different when she sees a full moon or anything?" Roshi asked.
"See a full moon? No, nothing like that, we go to bed pretty early." Goku explained, Bulma and Roshi sigh in relief.
"Pan is still so young, and she needs plenty of sleep, but her curfew will increase to later. Maybe she'll see a full moon then," Chi-Chi said, this got the three friends to become worried.
"I'm not so sure that's a good idea." Krillin muttered to himself.
Meanwhile, Pan is riding on Turtle for a fun little ride getting closer to the shore with the water coming in and out.
"Well, she certainly a cute girl and she's even looking like a martial artist too with the gi. Does that mean she's strong too?" Krillin asked.
"Oh yeah, Pan is definitely strong. I'm surprise you haven't sensed her power when we came here, she's really one up her old man." Goku chuckled.
"Now that you mention it, I can definitely sense that she is stronger than I expected. So, I take it you've been giving her martial art training?" Roshi asked.
"Not exactly, Chi-Chi said no martial art training until she turns seven." Goku said.
"Really? You're okay with letting her fight?" Bulma asked Chi-Chi, being surprised a little.
"Well, I actually wanted to focus on studying with books and getting smarts into her brain, but then I started to notice how she's using martial arts as a way of studying which I didn't really think about before. So, I decided let Pan start her martial art training with Goku ONLY when she's seven and no sooner than that." Chi-Chi explained.
"Really? If she hasn't done any martial art training, then what has she been doing?" Roshi asked.
"Oh, just some basic exercising routines like 400 pushups, 400 sit ups, 400 squats, a 40-kilometer run around the mountain, we also use some trees for the weightlifting, and we take breathing exercises and meditation." Chi-Chi answered.
"What is this? Super-Size Me: PE Edition?!" Krillin gasped.
"We only started six months ago on Pan's fourth birthday." Chi-Chi said.
"Oh hey, isn't that a Dragon Ball?" Bulma finally noticed the Dragon Ball in Pan's hands.
"Yep, it's daddy's Grandpa Gohan's ball." Pan nodded.
"I found out a while ago and gave it to Pan for safekeeping, she thought it would be nice to bring a piece of Gohan to you guys." Pan explained.
"How nice of you, young lady. I'm sure old Gohan would be thrilled." Roshi smiled, believing Gohan would definitely love Pan if he was here right now.
"I also found the two-star ball and the six-star ball when I was out looking for this one. I keep them back at home." Goku mentioned.
"Now that takes me back, we had some crazy times searching for those things." Bulma remembered the days when they would explore the world looking for the Dragon Balls.
"Huh, I don't see Tien here. I guess he must be doing more training when I last saw him." Goku mentioned.
"Hold on, you actually saw Tien?" Krillin asked.
"Yeah, it was when we decided to go on a little road trip as our first family vacation around a year ago and that's when I met up with Tien." Goku nodded.
"We had a fight to see how strong we have gotten, and I won, then we had some moments before going our separate ways." Goku explained how it went.
"Hey, did you see Launch with you by any chance?" Bulma asked.
"She was there, still changing her personality with her sneezing." Goku answered.
"I think she needs to see a doctor, but she's tolerable." Chi-Chi commented.
"Not only that, but Tien even gave me the idea to get heavier weight clothes to make myself train harder. So, I'm wearing about 600 pounds right now." Goku mentioned as he patted his weighted shirt.
"No way, 600 pounds! You're really going the distance, are you?" Krillin asked.
"Hey, do you guys wanna see me how far I can throw this whatever it is?" Pan asked holding a coconut.
"It's called a coconut, sweetie." Chi-Chi informed.
But just when Goku was about to point out that Yamcha isn't here as well, he suddenly felt something powerful and dark coming towards him fast.
"Goku, what's wrong?" Chi-Chi asked.
"I… I don't know, something is coming." Goku alerted, getting Chi-Chi and Pan close to her.
Everyone looks around only to find nothing but the ocean for miles away.
"Are you sure about that?" Krillin asked.
"My daddy isn't lying. I can feel something bad, and it's scary." Pan clutched onto Goku's pants, having learned how to sense energy from their meditation sessions.
"Oh my… this feels really dark." Chi-Chi said, feeling one sweat forming.
"(This power, I never sense anything like it.)" Goku thought readied himself, but he's not sure if he can take on such big power like this one.
"(Somebody is heading this way, is it Piccolo?)" Goku thought guessed.
(Flashback)
"(I haven't seen him since we fought at the World Martial Art Tournament five years ago.)" Goku thought recalled the last time he saw Piccolo.
Goku and Piccolo are fighting each other at the last moments of the World Marital Art tournament and it looked like the green man was gonna win, but Goku turn things around and beat him with a diving headbutt.
"(Somehow, I managed to beat him. Maybe he's spent the last five years training to get his revenge.)" Goku thought believed.
(Flashback End)
"(No, it's not Piccolo. But who is it?)" Goku thought asked as he kept on looking around until he felt the power getting closer and closer from one direction, then he spotted something flying toward them.
"There!" Goku said.
"What the… Who… Who is that?" Krillin asked shock, seeing something coming at them from the air.
"(This is trouble, I can feel it.)" Roshi thought feared.
The mysterious being with the strong power lands on the beach of the tiny island getting the martial artists in their stance and the women looking a little scared.
And so, Raditz has arrived at Kami House, and he gazes at Goku with his scouter reading his power level to be 586.
"(Quite strong indeed.)" Raditz thought grinned.
"So, we finally meet." Radizt spoke.
"You're all grown up." Raditz commented to Goku who is surprised that this guy is talking to him directly.
"But I can tell it was you in a glance, Kakarot." Raditz said, calling him by the name he knows.
"Kaka—What?" Goku is definitely confused of this guy.
"My, how you look like our father." Raditz said as well.
Now this really is shaking up Goku with confusion like who is this Kakarot this guy is talking about and what did he mean that he looks like the father, this also got the others confused as well.
"What does that mean?" Bulma asked.
"Hold on, you know this guy?" Krillin asked Goku, wondering what is going on around here.
"I don't know why, but I'm getting a weird feeling that he does seem to know Goku." Chi-Chi worried about this powerful stranger.
"Kakarot, what the Hell have you been doing here all these years? Your mission was to exterminate every single lifeform on this planet, so why haven't you carried it out?" Raditz demanded to know.
Goku was really confused as he looks back at his wife and friends, wondering how he should handle this guy who claims to have know him while Pan is looking at the man who seems to look like her daddy a little only meaner and he doesn't appear to be here for a friendly visit given how dark his power feels.
"Now look, you. I don't know who you are, but I think we heard just about enough. Time to leave." Krillin walked up to him, clearly seeing this guy is making Goku uncomfortable.
"Shoo, go. Or since you don't seem to be good at taking a hint, maybe you need me to point you in the right direction." Krillin decided to give this guy a little push.
But Raditz isn't intimidated by this little man nor his pathetic power level, so he decides to make him leave instead.
Goku quickly senses that this stranger is about to do something.
"Krillin, look out!" Goku called out.
But it was too late as seemingly Raditz send Krillin flying with a powerful strike that crashes him into Kami House.
"Krillin!" Goku gasped.
"Goku, look! He has a tail like Pan!" Chi-Chi alerted.
True to her words, Raditz does indeed have a tail and it's what he just uses to send Krillin away.
"A tail like Pan, and like I did." Goku gasped.
"Very good, you finally realize who am I." Raditz believed this should get Kakarot to remember him.
"Chi-Chi, you and Pan get back with the others." Goku instructed, the wife nods and she got herself and Pan away.
"I don't know who you are!" Goku yelled.
Okay, now Raditz is starting to think whether Kakarot is just playing games with him or has he really gotten about him and his mission.
"Kakarot! Have you been on this planet for so long that you've forgotten even that?" Raditz asked.
"My memory is fine, and you can quit calling this "Kaka" or whatever it is you're saying. My name is Son Goku." Goku stated strongly.
"What the Hell happened to you?" Raditz asked, now this is leading him to think that Kakarot has gotten about him somehow.
"Mommy, is daddy going to be okay?" Pan asked worry.
"Don't you worry, daddy will make the mean man go away." Chi-Chi said, but that's a little lie because she doesn't know if Goku can take him on given how strong he feels.
"Tell me, did you ever suffer a serious blow to the head when you were young?" Raditz asked as he points his head, but this got Goku confuse and that got Raditz angry.
"Are you stupid too? I'm asking, did you ever hit your head when you were a kid? Now answer me!" Raditz demanded again.
"Yes. But it was when I was really little, I don't remember anything about it." Goku answered.
"I see, that explains it." Raditz realized that he suffered from amnesia.
"Explains what? What do you mean?" Goku demanded in turn.
Roshi can see the connection between Goku and this mysterious powerful stranger, and he thinks it's time to tell Goku something he learned years ago.

The mysterious stranger known as Raditz has arrived on Kami House and addressing Goku as the name Kakarot which the orange guy does not know about, but he is about to learn more things about himself soon from Raditz and perhaps from Master Roshi as he seems to know something.
