Goku's Reveal of the Out of this World Past
"Goku." Roshi said, getting Goku's attention to him.
"There's something your grandfather told me once that I think you should know." Roshi began to explain something he kept to himself from Goku for many years until now.
(Years Ago)
The scene shows of a bamboo fast with a large crater with smoke coming out from the center of that crater.
"A long time ago, your Grandfather Gohan was walking through the woods when he came upon a strange object that have appeared to have fallen from the sky."
Grandpa Gohan is a short, stubby old man with small dark eyes and a bushy white mustache and eyebrows and is also bald. He wears a Chinese martial arts uniform, which consists of a sleeveless orange jacket over a long-sleeved black shirt and wears a green hat.
Grandpa Gohan went down the crater and he was surprised to see a baby with black hair who is the baby Kakarot before getting his earth name Son Goku.
"When he went to exam it more closely, he found a baby boy with a tail sealed inside a round pod."
Grandpa Gohan took Goku back with him to raise the baby as his own grandson since he never got the chance to start a family of his own, but soon discover that this baby was a lot harder to handle as baby Goku showed his violent side more.
"Gohan decided to take the child home and raise him as his own, but the boy had an angry, violent nature. Before long, the old man was at his wits end."
Grandpa Gohan is walking up a hill with baby Goku inside the basket who is looking at two birds that were flying over a tree with a mango, baby Goku tried to reach for the mango only to end up falling from the basket and down a deep riven, landing his head on a big root.
"Then one day, there was a terrible accident! The child fell into a deep river and hit his head. The injury was nearly fatal, but somehow, miraculously, the boy survived."
The scene shows Grandpa Gohan waiting by the side of Goku who is sleeping and recovering from the head injury, then after Goku's recovery, he started being nice and friendly with Grandpa Gohan from that day on.
"What's more after that, he was no longer violent. From that day on, he became a happy, loving boy."
(Present)
"That boy was me, wasn't it?" Goku asked, figuring out where Master Roshi is getting with this story.
"Yes." Roshi nodded.
"Hold on, now this is leading us more that this weirdo is somehow more connected with Goku!" Chi-Chi worried as she points at Raditz.
"Yeah, how is that even possible?" Bulma asked.
"Yeah, it's time you did some explaining." Goku looked back at Raditz, now really wanting to know some answers.
"Yeah, like who are you exactly and how do you even know my daddy!" Pan asked loudly.
"(What's this? A child calling Kakarot her daddy? Now this is something I wasn't expecting to find.)" Raditz thought was surprised to see Kakarot having a kid of his own as he also saw her tail.
This made Raditz chuckle softly as he wasn't expecting himself to be an uncle nor give a lecture, but he might as well give a rundown about their race to Kakarot and his kid.
"Let's start at the top. The truth is: you're not of this world, Kakarot. You were born on a distant planet called Vegeta, home of the Saiyan race, the most powerful warriors in the universe. You are one of us." Raditz explained.
Goku is shocked as the others are, finding out that Goku is from another planet which makes him an alien from outer space which is a little more shocking to Chi-Chi and Pan with the latter finding out her dad is another being entirely.
"And as for your other question, my name is Raditz. I'm your brother." Raditz revealed.
Now this got everyone to be extra shock to know that this strange revealing himself to be a blood brother of Goku from outer space too, Chi-Chi didn't expect to meet another family of Goku since he only had Grandpa Gohan.
"No way! Goku… has a brother!" Krillin gasped.
"It has… to be some kind of joke." Bulma said, but she can see some resemblance between Goku and Raditz.
"If it is, it's not funny." Goku clutched his fists, something inside was telling him that it's the truth.
"Goku, I don't think he's lying." Chi-Chi gulped, sensing truth from his words.
"It's crazy! If Goku's really an alien like he said, what's he doing on earth?" Krillin asked.
Raditz chuckles once again upon seeing their shocked reaction including Kakarot's face looking a little sweaty, then speaking again.
"It's not hard to understand. Kakarot was sent to this world with a simple mission not long after he was born: to destroy every human being on the planet." Raditz revealed that part as well.
"What?!" Goku, Chi-Chi, and Pan are shocked.
"We Saiyans may be a proud warrior race, but we're also businessmen. We scour the universe in search of planets with habitable environments, and then we use our skills to eliminate the native lifeforms. Once cleared, the planet is then sold to any alien race that's willing to pay the price." Raditz explained about the business of the Saiyan.
"For those planets whose inhabitants have high power levels, adult Saiyans are sent in to subdue the territory. But to planet like this one whose lifeforms are pathetic and weak; we went our infants." Raditz mentioned this as well.
"(Sending infants to fight? Are these people crazy?)" Chi-Chi thought gasped.
"This is how you came to be here, Kakarot. Even by yourself a year or two was more than enough time to liquidate these human pests. You could've done it easily if you hadn't lost you memory." Raditz stated.
"Mommy, are alien babies that strong?" Pan asked curiously.
"I don't know, but I'm really glad that it was only Goku that came to this planet alone." Chi-Chi shared her opinion on what she is taking in so far.
"Especially considering the massive size of the moon here." Raditz said as he looks up at the sky.
"(The moon?)" Goku thought confused again.
"Hey, what are you talking about? What does the moon have to do with anything?" Goku asked.
"Don't play dumb, you must know! You live on this planet your entire life; the full moon is key to unlocking a Saiyan's full potential!" Raditz explained.
Bulma, Krillin, and Roshi became scared upon remembering the days when Goku still had his tail and the big secret that he can turn into a giant ape monster under the night of the full moon, not to mention that Goku was also the ape monster that killed Grandpa Gohan years ago too.
"I knew it!" Chi-Chi glared at the others.
"You are hiding something about the moon this Raditz guy said." Chi-Chi called them out.
"Chi-Chi, now is not the time for that!" Bulma exclaimed.
"Maybe I am dumb because you're still not making any sense." Goku stated, never having the memories of becoming a giant ape.
Raditz was confused about this as well, his little brother should've notice how he can transform into a Great Ape under the full moon or at least be aware from some of it, but then he notice something to his horror.
"Kakarot… Y-Your tail?" Raditz said, confusing Goku again.
"What happened to your tail?" Raditz asked.
"That? It got cut off a long time ago, what's it matter?" Goku was still confused about this.
"You fool! How could you let that happen? Do you even more what you've done?" Raditz was angered by the fact that Kakarot lost his tail.
"So, how exactly did Daddy lose his tail?" Pan asked her mom.
"He actually lost a few times and it used to grow back; I'll explain about this later." Chi-Chi said.
"That explains how you've been able to fit in so well with these miserable humans." Raditz felt like this is something out of a bad joke.
"Excuse me, but I don't like your tone one bit." Chi-Chi glared at Raditz.
"My wife is right. Even if it is true that I'm some kind of alien from another planet or even if you really are my older brother. It doesn't matter, anyone who do the horrible things you say is no brother of mine." Goku said strongly.
"My name is Son Goku, and this is my home. And you're not welcome here!" Goku declared earth as his home.
"Yeah, you tell him what's what, daddy!" Pan smiled.
"I'm so proud of you, honey!" Chi-Chi said.
"You tell him, Goku!" Bulma cheered.
"That's right, you heard the man. Whatever the past, Goku is one of us now. In fact, he's a better human being than any of us." Roshi vouched for his former student.
"He saved the entire world before! Would an alien warrior do that? I don't think so!" Krillin yelled.
However, all that shouting and protesting or whatever they're shouting doesn't faze Raditz as he chuckles again.
"I'm afraid it will take more than shouting to convince me to leave." Raditz walked past Kakarot and the others.
"Powerful though we are, we Sayians have never been strong in number. What's more, our proud race was almost wiped out entirely when a giant meteor struck our home planet Vegeta." Raditz mentioned, remembering the report of a meteor destroying the planet.
"There weren't any survivors. Everyone was vaporized, that includes our mother and father, Kakarot." Raditz revealed.
"Counting you, there are only four left in the universe who were of Saiyan descent. I was away on an assignment with another of our warriors when the meteor hit, we live. A third Saiyan also survive, he's been sent to conquer a distant planet just like you were." Raditz revealed that there are two more Saiyans.
"(Oh great, two more of these brutes.)" Chi-Chi thought worried.
"Recently, we happen upon an inhabitable world that we think could fetch us a nice price." Raditz mentioned of another planet raid.
"But there is just one tiny problem. Even with all three of us, it won't be an easy fight." Raditz said.
Goku is not liking where this is going through this explanation.
"And that's where you come into the picture, my long-lost little brother. I was expecting your power level to be a little strong, but 586 is a bit more and that should do with the four of us combined should be able to manage just fine." Raditz said while walking over to Goku.
"Stay away from me! Back off!" Goku backed away, not wanting to be any part of this planet selling business.
"Kakarot, don't you see? Open your eyes, you were born for this!" Raditz stated.
"Shut up, you big bully! My daddy is not a bully like you, and he would never hurt anyone unless they do the hurting of others!" Pan stated, feeling some anger.
"That's right, why don't you take a hike in your spaceship and leave right now!" Chi-Chi demanded.
"Oh, is that right?" Raditz smirked.
"You know, Kakarot. I was a little surprise to see that you have a child of your own, and what's more…" Raditz checked on the girl's power level reading her to be 629. "Her power level is even greater than yours, quite impressive." He complimented.
"So what, that doesn't mean she's like you!" Goku started to feel angry.
"I wanted to reason with you, but I can see you don't know what's best for your daughter. I'm afraid I'm gonna have to take her with me." Raditz decided, seeing that taking the girl would be better than Kakarot.
"If you think you can, in your dreams!" Chi-Chi shouted in rage.
"(Kakarot's wife, she seems to be decent despite having a low power level.)" Raditz thought mocked a little, seeing Chi-Chi's power level to be 174.
Raditz walks forward with the others themselves ready to fight this guy though they are scared if they can even take him on with his power feeling so much stronger than theirs combine.
"Don't you even take one step closer to my daughter, I'm warning you!" Goku prepared himself to fight.
"Pan, stay back. I don't want you anywhere near this man." Chi-Chi ordered.
Pan didn't like this, she didn't like that this man who is supposedly her Uncle is going to do something bad at any second right now.
Suddenly in an instant, Raditz vanished from Goku's sight and was able barely to react, only to get a knee-kick in the gut sending Goku flying, and he crashes into the sand.
"Goku!" Chi-Chi shouted before Raditz appeared in front of her and gave her a backhand slap sending her flying onto Goku.
"Daddy! Mommy!" Pan shouted, then glares at Raditz now hating him for hurting her parents.
"You big meanie!" Pan shouted in rage and charged at Raditz.
"No! Pan, don't do it!" Roshi tried to stop her, but it was too late.
"What? Her power level just shot up to 779!" Raditz gasped.
Pan jumps at Raditz for a punch to the face, but the older Saiyan easily dodges that punch and karate chopped her on the head to knock her out-cold.
"Like I said, I'll be taking your daughter now, Kakarot. And if you want to see her alive again, you will do what your big brother tells you." Raditz blackmailed Goku to cooperate with him while carrying the unconscious Pan.
"Damn you…" Goku growled, struggling to get up from the powerful blow and holding onto his wife.
"We're family, so I'll give you 24 hours to think about my offer. The choice is yours, but for your daughter's sake, I hope you decide to join us." Raditz said, maybe still going with recruiting Kakarot.
"Still, you should show me a gesture of your legion." Raditz said, thinking of something for Kakarot to do.
"Like what? Goku asked groaning.
"Let see… Oh, I think I know just the thing. You're going to slaughter 100 human beings by this time tomorrow. If you get a taste for it, feel free to kill more, stack the bodies here on the beach." Raditz decided a cruel thing for Kakarot.
This got everyone to feel horror that this guy is going to make Goku slaughter 100 people to save her daughter, or this guy will take her away by force.
"I can't wait to see which fate you have chosen for your daughter, Kakarot." Raditz smirked evilly.
"Now, try not to worry. I won't hurt my niece unless I have to." Raditz laughed a little.
"Pan…!" Goku tried to reach out for Pan while Raditz laugh some more.
"Just in case you miss anything, I'll say it one more time. If you want your little girl back, you will eliminate 100 humans and bring them here before I return here in 24 hours." Raditz explained the deal one last time.
Goku groans in both the pain on his stomach and that his guy is going to get away with his daughter, and he can't do anything right now.
"If you do, you'll then have the privilege of rejoining our race. If you don't, if I come back and I don't see a hundred dead humans then your daughter dies." Raditz threatened with a grin.
"You coward! She's just a kid!" Krillin insulted.
"Yeah, leave her out of this!" Bulma nodded.
"That's right, it won't work. It doesn't matter what you do, Goku would never kill anyone!" Roshi stated, he even knows that Chi-Chi knows that.
"Oh, I see." Raditz grinned.
"If you're willing to let this one die, I can finish her off right now and Kakarot doesn't have to get his hands dirty." Raditz threatened, this forces the three friends to be silent knowing they want Pan to be safe even if it's in his hands.
"Suit yourself." Raditz knew they would back down.
"Your days are numbered anyway. Every creature on this planet will soon be exterminated." Raditz stated.
"Once we complete our current mission, whether with or without Kakarot's help, we'll be back to conquer earth." Raditz informed, frightening the three earthlings.
"Y-You will?" Roshi asked in fear.
"Of course, it will be the three of us against billions and billions of humans. Even so, I'm sure we can finish the job under a month." Raditz said.
But then he felt his hand being grabbed and look down to see that it's Kakarot trying to get him, but it was pointless to Raditz.
"Did you catch all of that, Kakarot? Struggle all you want; you know the only way out of this is to join me and the rest of the Saiyans." Raditz reminded him.
"Give me…back my girl!" Goku demanded in vain.
"When I come back here tomorrow for your decision, the word I'm looking forward to hear is yes." Raditz said before he tosses Goku's hand off from his arm.
"For your daughter's sake, you shouldn't fight back. That is if you don't want her to wake up in the afterlife." Raditz said before he flew into the air.
"Your power level is almost that of a real Saiyan, but you're definitely no match for your older brother. I'll be looking forward to tomorrow, Kakarot. See you then!" Raditz laughed and fly away back to his space pod.
"PAN?!" Goku screamed as he watches his daughter and only child being taken away right before his eyes until he could no longer see her.
Goku learned the truth about his past from his long-lost older brother Raditz, and now the man from space has taken Pan away as a hostage to make Goku carry out his evil deed. What will Goku do in this time of crisis with her Pan caught in the middle, and is there a way defeat Raditz who's power is much stronger? Find out next time on Son Pan, Daughter of Goku!
