Chapter 5: Burden of the Past's;Embracing New Bonds

Bingo!Chara listened intently as the Heeler family recounted the tragic events leading up to Bingo's untimely death. With each word, her heart grew heavier with sorrow, knowing that she was the one who now inhabited the body of their beloved daughter and sister.

"I'm... I'm so sorry," Bingo!Chara finally spoke up, her voice trembling with emotion. "I wish there was something I could do to help, but... but I know there isn't. I'm not the Bingo you all knew, and… and I never will be."

Bandit, Chilli, and Bluey exchanged somber glances, their expressions reflecting the weight of their grief and the enormity of their loss. They had hoped that Chara's presence would bring some semblance of comfort, but instead, it only served as a painful reminder of what they had lost.

"I... I just don't understand why I'm here," Bingo!Chara continued, her voice barely above a whisper. "I should have died with… Asriel in my world. I-i shouldn't be here with you all in this new world in the first place."

The Heeler family's expressions shifted from sadness to curiosity as they processed Chara's words. Bandit furrowed his brow, his mind racing with questions he didn't dare voice. Chilli's eyes widened in surprise, her heart aching for the pain Chara must be feeling. And Bluey's gaze was filled with a mixture of sympathy and confusion, unsure of how to comfort the being now occupying her sister's body.

"Why... why did you die in your world, Chara?" Bluey finally asked, her voice hesitant yet curious.

"Yeah... And who's Asriel?, Is they someone you know from your world?" Bandit then asked too, Chilli was also surprised but couldn't say anything about what she heard from Bingo!Chara.

Bingo!Chara's breath caught in her throat as memories of her past life flooded her mind. She knew she couldn't hide the truth forever, but the thought of reliving the pain and guilt was almost too much to bear.

"I... I can't talk about that right now, everyone." Bingo!Chara replied softly, her voice tinged with sorrow. "It's... it's still too raw, too painful. I need more time to process everything that happened… "

Bandit nodded understandingly, his heart heavy with empathy for the being now trapped in Bingo's body. "Take all the time you need, Chara," he said gently, his voice filled with compassion.

Chilli reached out, placing a comforting hand on Bingo!Chara's shoulder. "We may not understand everything that's happened to you, but… we are here with you." she reassured her, her eyes filled with warmth and understanding.

As Bingo!Chara leaned into the embrace of the original Bingo family, she felt a glimmer of hope amidst the darkness that threatened to consume her. Despite the burden of her past and the uncertainty of her future, she knew that with the Heeler family by her side, she would find the strength to carry on, one day at a time.

Bingo!Chara sat among the Heeler family and Processing about everything. But then, realization dawned upon her: she didn't know the names of each of her family members. The weight of this ignorance pressed heavily upon her, filling her with a sense of unease.

"I... I don't know each of your names," Bingo!Chara admitted softly, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "I'm sorry, but I don't know anything about you all."

Bandit and Chilli exchanged understanding glances, recognizing the confusion Bingo!Chara must be feeling. Bluey, however, was visibly perplexed, her brows furrowed in confusion.

"But... but how can you not know us?" Bluey questioned, her voice filled with genuine confusion. "You've been living in my sister's body for weeks now, doesn't… her memory is still in her body? I want to believe that her memory is still there. Please tell me Chara, You probably got her memories, ...right?"

Bingo!Chara shook her head sadly, her heart heavy with regret. "I really don't know you all," she explained, her voice tinged with sorrow. "This body may have the memories of Bingo, but… I am not her. I don't retain her memories."

Bluey's disappointment was palpable as she processed Bingo!Chara's words. She had hoped that the being inhabiting her sister's body would at least share some semblance of Bingo's memories and identity.

Chilli stepped forward to Bluey, her voice gentle yet firm. "Even though... the Bingo we knew have died in front of us in the hospital, do you still remember, Bluey? What are her last words, Bingo are and still love you, Bluey." she reminded her daughter, her eyes filled with warmth and reassurance.

Bluey nodded slowly, her tears shimmering in the light as she struggled to come to terms with the truth. "Yeah... I remember, Mom," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion.

Meanwhile, Bandit start to took the initiative to introduce himself to Bingo!Chara, extending his hand in friendship.

"I'm Bandit Heeler," he said with a warm smile. "Even though we've only just met, my family and I will make you feel welcome here, mate."

Chilli followed suit, introducing herself and expressing her desire to forge a new relationship with Bingo!Chara. "I'm Chilli Heeler, Bluey and Bingo's mum," she said kindly. "We may face challenges in the future, but we'll face them together. Over the previous few days Bandit and I have discussed, and it ends up that we will try to welcome you into our family. We hope, hopefully we can create a good relationship with you, Chara."

And the last one is Bluey, but... Bluey hesitated as she prepared to introduce herself, her heart heavy with sorrow and regret. Bingo!Chara sensed her hesitation, spoke gently, offering words of understanding and kindness.

"You didn't mean to hurt the real Bingo, your sister, on purpose, right?" Bingo!Chara said softly, her voice filled with empathy. Bluey immediately looked up and looked at her seriously with the pain of losing her sister, Bluey nodding hard. "If that's the case, you have to cherish her and her various memories in your heart. I... will not and cannot replace your sister, who seems like to be the best sister for you. But, I hope we can have a good bond and become friends, okay?"

Tears streamed down Bluey's face as she nodded, her breath catching in her throat. And Without hesitation, she ran to Bingo!Chara and hugged her tightly, overcome with emotion.

(Choking on her breath from crying profusely) "y-y-you're right... Chara, l-let's be friends... My-my name is Bluey Chris-tine Heeler, it w-was nice to meet you," Bluey managed to say between sobs.

Bandit and Chilli watched the scene unfold before them, touched by the display of emotion between Bluey and Bingo!Chara. They couldn't help but imagine how Bingo would have reacted if she were here to witness it.

With a gentle smile and closed eyes, Bingo!Chara hugged Bluey back, rubbing her back in a comforting gesture. "Yeah... let's be friends, Bluey," she said softly, her voice filled with warmth and sincerity.

And as the embrace lingers, the Heeler family is ready to embrace the beginning of a new chapter. They all hope that their journey will be filled with hope, forgiveness, and the promise of newfound bonds.
