Chapter 18: Problems arise
"Aaahh!"
James was running in fear from the newly infected Jessebelle, who was more determined than ever to infect him and make him into her husband. "Oh, come on, James. You're still not running properly," she declared with a grin, remembering when they were reunited with one another back in Kanto and how they would've gotten married had it not been for his Growlithe.
Hearing those words, the purple-haired member of Team Rocket started to get flashbacks of when he first ran away from home all those years ago. "I really hate going through déjà vu!" he screamed, wondering why Arceus has forsaken him in this situation and even worse now that Jessebelle was a hybrid due to the growing infection spreading across the world.
"Oh no, you're not going to get away from me this time, James!" declared Jessebelle, unleashing a Stun Spore attack that stopped the poor man in his tracks and leaving him now completely paralyzed. "There, while it is not proper it'll do just fine."
Hearing this made him even more fearful than ever, especially as his former fiancé was slowly approaching him and made the poor young man wish for death right now. "Please, I'm begging you, don't do this!" he pleaded to Jessebelle as he dreaded becoming like her even more the moment his eventual fate drew ever closer.
"What's wrong, still fearing the prospect of having a beautiful wife like me?" asked Jessebelle as she looked down at the paralyzed Team Rocket member, seeing the look of fear he had when looking at her regardless of if she's now a hybrid or was once human.
"Look, I already lost my family because of this hellish infection!" James continued to beg of Jessebelle. Still not wanting to lose his humanity as it was what he had left and mentally wished this was some awful nightmare he's having. The young man was closing his eyes tightly in hopes that he'll eventually wake up with everything being as it was before. "I don't wanna lose my humanity too!"
"Don't worry my darling, soon you won't even care about having been human at all," said the Vileplume hybrid, getting ready to perform the deed and succeed where she had failed long ago, which made James's face grow even paler at this. "Once this is over, you'll start enjoying it once I'm done with you and you're not gonna missed those two losers you always hang out with either."
"We heard that!"
Jessebelle heard an annoyed male voice coming from behind, and she turned around just in time to see a familiar male Scratch Cat landing on her and using his claws to scratch her face repeatedly. "You miserable feline, get off of me this instant!" she screamed in anger and pain at the repeated scratches to her face from Meowth's Fury Swipes attack. James opened his eyes to see that not only was he still human, but his Pokémon partner in crime was saving him by doing what he was known for best, no less. James certainly found it both funny and ironic at the same time to see his former fiancé meeting that very fate.
However, Meowth had a smile on his face looking at Jessebelle, who had rage building on her face. "Aww, sorry about that," Meowth said with a grin on his face. "Well, not really."
Jessie looked at Jessebelle and the anger forming on her face as Jessie looked at James, and they needed to run before it's too late. "James, we need to get away from the crazy bitch."
James nodded as he wasn't going to stay here, as they quickly turned around and started running away from the hybrid. "No, get back here!" Jessebelle cried out with anger filling her voice.
Meanwhile, Ash was shocked to see who was standing right in front of him. After all, Ash hadn't seen the three girls since Sinnoh. Ash could see that the three sisters had become Miltank hybrids, and all three were smiling.
Autumn smiled on her face as she looked at Ash and began running over to him with joy. "Moo, Ash we're so happy to have found you at last we've looked everywhere!" Autumn said as she brought Ash into a hug.
"Hey, no far Autumn, Moo we want him too Moo," Spring cried out to her sister while Summer nodded as the two older sisters looked at Autumn.
"Yeah, come on sis," Summer said as the other two Miltank hybrids started hugging Ash, along with their younger sister.
"Moo, come on, you two, he'll be our mate," Autumn said with a smile at her sisters as she then looked at Ash, hoping that he wanted them, seeing the other two female hybrids. "I hope that he wants us."
Melody and Mallow are left shocked at the three Miltank girls, but they didn't care as they looked at their mate. "Ash, do you know them?" Mallow asked her mate.
Ash smiled, turning to look at Mallow and Melody; he could see that they wanted to know who the three hybrids are and how they know Ash. "Oh, I met them back in Sinnoh," Ash said with a smile and looked at the three sisters. "What are you three doing here anyway?"
The three Miltank sisters looked at Ash with a smile. "After getting infected we wanted to find you so you can be our mate," Autumn said with a smile.
Ash was then left shocked to hear this, as Mallow and Melody looked at the three sisters, and soon the three Miltank girls looked at them. "Oh hello, who are you two?" Spring asked as she looked at the Pikachu hybrid and the Tsareena hybrid.
"Hi my name is Mallow," the Tsareena hybrid said with a smile as she looked at the three Miltank girls.
"My name is Melody," began the girl. "I originated from Shamouti Island, one of the Orange Islands where I met Ash when he was traveling with Tracey and Misty there."
"The Orange Islands?"
"It's an island chain that's different climatically from the Kanto and Johto regions, which are temperate while the Orange Islands are tropical," explained Melody, looking at Spring, Summer, and Autumn all with a smile on her face. "One effect of the different climate is that the Pokémon found there are of a different color."
Hearing this left the three Miltank hybrids speechless, having never really expected to learn about regions different from Sinnoh despite being in one right one. "So, it's kinda like the Alola region in a way," they heard Mallow speaking, and before they could ask, she decided to continue. "Alola is made up of islands and is completely unconnected to any mainland. I came from Akala Island which is actually one of the four main islands."
"Wow, so that's where you came from huh?" began Spring, mooing even more than ever as she could tell that the two girls that were already with Ash were cute, and especially upon a further glance and a smile formed on her face. "In fact, we're just glad that you were with Ash as it actually makes reuniting with him even better."
"Yes, those are my thoughts exactly, Spring," Summer agreed as she too studied the girls that Ash had with him. "What do you think, Autumn?"
"Yes, I agree with our sister," added Autumn, nodding her head all while smiling. "I gotta admit that while seeing Ash again was something we never thought possible, I'm not complaining especially as the addition of these new girls was an added bonus."
"I'll say, plus Ash looks even more handsome than ever, although he did look cute in that maid outfit he once wore."
Hearing this caused Melody and Mallow to turn towards Ash in slight surprise. "Wait, you wore a maid outfit?" Mallow asked the male hybrid as she and Melody found it funny to hear that their mate once dressed as a girl, which caused him to start blushing with embarrassment. "Oh man, I really wished I've heard about this one sooner, I bet you looked like a pretty girl when wearing it…."
Ash blushed at this as he looked at the five hybrids, two of which are his mates. "Come on that is all in the past now," Ash began as he looked at the five.
Melody nodded with a happy smile on her face and started to rub her stomach. "Hmm, true Ash, after all, our old human lives no longer matter."
Mallow had the same expression that Melody had. "Hmm, true, I'm so happy that we have our mate."
Ash nodded with a feral look on his face. "Oh, yeah, I'm happy that I have you both and my other mates," Ash told the two with a smirk pulling them closer to him.
Melody and Mallow giggled as she rubbed their hands or claws on Ash's toned chest. "And you are an amazing lover, my dear mate," Melody said with a grin before turning to look at the three Miltank sisters. "And yes, the sex is fucking good."
Ash couldn't help but smirk at this as he looked at the three Miltank sisters; he could smell that they wanted him. "So, do you want to join us?" Ash asked with a smile at the three hybrid sisters.
Mallow and Melody nodded, knowing they needed to help Dawn and Sherry and free their minds. "Yeah, after all, we were going to head to where Ash's other mates are soon," Mallow said with a smile, looking at Ash, knowing he wanted to get back to them.
"Yeah, you three look so damn sexy, I don't think I can hold back for long," Ash said with a smile forming as the Lucario hybrid looked at the three Miltank sisters.
"Do you mean it?"
"Yes, I do," Ash replied, nodding his head, and it made the three Miltank sisters smile the moment they heard that resulting in them each kissing him one by one, and he returned their kisses without hesitation, which made him want to mate with them more than ever.
Nearby, Melody and Mallow were both smiling when witnessing the moment between Ash and the Miltank sisters, although they're also somewhat jealous due to wanting to join in. "Aww, that is absolutely cute, don't you think?" Melody asked of the greenette as they watched Ash making out with the newest members of his harem.
The Tsareena hybrid nodded her head in agreement. "Indeed, I just my mother was here to see this," Mallow replied; part of her was somewhat sad when she mentioned her mother since it still pained her despite the fact, she was now a hybrid like the ones she was in love with deeply.
"Huh?" asked Melody as she looked at Mallow in slight surprise. After all, it was the first time the greenette ever mentioned her mother, and it made the Pikachu hybrid curious to know why she had brought it up just now. "Your mother?"
"Yes, she died from an illness when I was a little girl and before she did, I ended up saying something I wish I shouldn't have," she replied to Melody as tears began to fall down her face. "I miss her so much."
Melody was shocked at what she heard, but at the same time, she felt bad for her new mate and didn't know what she could do to help her feel better. "I'm so sorry, I had no idea you felt that way," she said to the greenette, holding her closer as, in a way, it felt somewhat familiar to her. "I know someone who is feeling the same way believe it or not?"
Mallow looked towards Melody, tears still in her eyes when looking at the Pikachu hybrid. "You do?" she asked while somewhat confused.
"Yes, my friend Misty told me about her own parents dying when she was six years old prior to leaving with Ash and Tracey to continue their journey through the rest of the Orange Islands," said Melody as she thought back to a brief conversation with Misty, following Ash saving the entire Pokémon World from being destroyed by Lawrence III's desire to capture Lugia by going after the Legendary Birds that resided on their respective islands. "She misses them a lot and never told anyone this since it hurts thinking about it even now."
Mallow was very shocked at hearing this, but it only made her want to meet Misty even more than she did before. "Well, I hope that I get the chance to meet her soon," Mallow said, showing a smile on her face.
Melody giggled at this, and the Pikachu hybrid knew that Mallow would love Misty when they find her. "Oh, trust me, Mallow. You'll love her."
Mallow smiled, hoping that they could find the girl. "I hope that she is okay, we know she has become like us," Mallow said with a smile, but it made her wonder if Misty had her human mind.
Melody had the same thoughts; she knew that Ash had told them that the only ones back home who still had their weak human minds were Dawn and Sherry. "We need to help them. Free them from their human minds," Melody said as the Pikachu thought about their next move.
Ash smiled as he walked over with his new mates. "Oh, I hope we can go there, I want to see Dawn again," Autumn said with a smile. "Oh, just moo thinking about it," the Miltank girl said smiling.
Her two sisters also smiled as Spring and Summer looked at their mate, hoping to bind Ash as their mate. However, the three Miltank sisters knew that it wasn't time for that right now.
"I know, I want to help them, but..." Ash said as his mates looked at him with concern on their faces. "The problem with heading back is that Lucario and Sir Aaron will be waiting for us."
Melody and Mallow nodded as Ash told them the training that he started before heading off to save Mallow. "If we go back, they will try to force me to get my human mind again."
"No, we don't want that!" Melody cried out with fear that the two would take away their mate. "What do we do? We need to help the others," Melody said with a frown.
The three Miltank sisters are shocked to hear this as they didn't want to love their mate, either not after getting him. "What if they come to us?" Spring said as she looked at her sisters and Melody and Mallow.
Ash nodded, he didn't like the thought of leaving his mates there, but the Lucario hybrid knew that Sir Aaron and his Lucario would force him to regain his human mind.
"Ash, you said that May and a few others don't have their human minds, that means they could come to us right?" Mallow asked, thinking what they could do.
Ash nodded his head as he stared at Mallow, thinking about it, but he knew them finding them would make it hard. "Yes, we need them to come to us, as I don't was to head there and regain my human mind."
All the hybrid girls smiled as they hugged Ash. "Don't worry, Ash, none of us are going to lose you," Melody said with a smile and kissed him. "After all, I know that our new sister-mates want you so badly."
Autumn, Spring, and Summer as all three nodded as the three Miltank girls looked at Ash, as they looked at him. "Oh, yes, Moo we want you so much right now, but we can wait, it will make it that much better."
Ash smiled with desire on his face, as right now he wanted to take his three mates, but he couldn't, not yet anyway that would come later. "I just hope May and the others are safe," Ash said with some concern for his mates.
Meanwhile, May jumped with joy as she entered the house, as the other hybrid girls all looked at her. "May what's going on?" Serena asked; she hated that they had to stay here.
Lille nodded, seeing that the Eevee hybrid was so happy. "Yeah, May, what's going on here, and why are you so happy?" Lillie asked, knowing that May had found something out for her to be like this.
"I'm happy because we have a companion with us," May quickly answered with a smile on her face, knowing that they had someone new at the house, but it was honestly a familiar face to the brunette. "She's someone whom Ash, Brock, Max, and I met back at the Battle Frontier."
"The Battle Frontier?"
Seeing her sister mates ask this, May nodded as she explained to Lillie and Serena about Anabel and how she too was a hybrid just like them now. Not to mention the lavender-haired young woman also had a crush on Ash following the events at the Battle Tower. "Wow, that's something unexpected," said Serena, somewhat surprised at the news revealed to her and Lillie.
"Indeed, but hey I would like the chance to meet her," said Lillie as she was curious to see Anabel firsthand now that she too knew about her.
The Eevee girl nodded her head, and entering the house was a lovely female Espeon hybrid as she looked at the two sexy hybrid girls present with them. "Yeah, I find her downstairs Sherry was making sure that we didn't see her. I think both she and Dawn are worried we'll all tag team the two together," the Eevee girl said with a giggle as May looked at Anabel.
"So, you must be the girls who May told me about," began Anabel as she smiled at Serena and Lillie. "I have to admit that you two look even more amazing up close and personal."
Hearing this from the Espeon hybrid caused both Serena and Lillie to blush. "Aww, thanks, you look amazing too, Anabel."
Soon enough, May suddenly remembered something else that needed bringing up to her lovers. "Oh yeah, there's some more news I want to share with you," she said to the three female hybrids that were in the house, revealing the introduction to Anabel was just a small bonus. "Turns out, Ash, has officially accepted his true self."
"Wait, really? When did that happen?" Serena asked, hoping that Ash would start seeing things their way.
"Not too long ago from what I overheard from the conversation Dawn and Sherry had earlier on. Although they seem to be imagining that they're talking to something that doesn't seem to be there at all for some reason," replied May as she was rather confused over whoever the two female hybrids were talking to, but it didn't matter.
As May had a smile on her face having tried to make her move on, Sherry following Dawn leaving. "Oh well, I just hope he and Dawn return soon, because being here is absolutely boring."
Hearing this made Serena and Lillie surprised, but at the same time, they started smiling and in a way, being in the house was not a complete loss. "It's true, May told me about it although it's a shame that the other girl wasn't willing to join us," Anabel told her new mates despite the slight disappointment when it came to Sherry. "Oh well, she'll join us when the time comes."
"Like that will ever happen!" came a familiar female voice as Sherry was present, and she was still not too pleased with May having tried to mate with her. However, part of her could only hope that Dawn and Sir Aaron would find Ash soon and bring him back since it's clear there's no longer enough time to undergo any training now that the young man was lost, possibly forever.
"It's about time you decided to come in you cute little thing," began May as she honestly saw Sherry being cute. Unaware that Lucario was present due to her, Serena, Lillie, and Anabel could not see or even hear him as he was a spirit that benefitted the girl who still retained her human mind. "Also, you don't have to give me that look, deep down you know you liked it."
"I'm sorry, but until things start slowly getting back to normal. I still will not allowing you to leave this house," she replied to May; before Sherry crossed her arms over her chest as she knew there was a chance that she might be ganged up on since the other female hybrids would find a way to overpower her. "Also, if you're thinking about forcing yourselves onto me at the same time, think again… there's no way I am going to allow that to happen like it or not."
"Oh of course, we wouldn't have any plans to do such a thing," Anabel lied, although there was something else Sherry needed to be made aware of and smiled." Besides, I wouldn't want to end up on the bad side of the spirit that's standing by your side."
"Wait, you know about Lucario?" asked Sherry, even May, Serena, and Lillie couldn't believe what they heard when Anabel said that.
"Yes, my psychic powers after all which means I'm able to feel even spiritual beings in our world," said Anabel as she knew that Lucario was listening in on the talk they were all having. "Trust me, we don't know how long it'll be before this isn't the case but it doesn't really matter in all honesty."
Sherry didn't like this as the Pachirisu hybrid started becoming worried that Anabel can now see Lucario. "Huh, Lucario, wait, is it the same one that I encountered with Ash?" May asked, shocked to hear this from Anabel.
Anabel nodded as the Espeon hybrid turned to the Eevee girl. "Yeah, he thinks he can hide, and it makes sense why," Anabel said as she had a grin slowly forming on her face.
Sherry was now becoming more worried as she didn't think anyone else would see Lucario. "So, what are you doing then?" Sherry asked, knowing there wasn't much she could do to stop them. "I can't let you lot leave this place."
All the hybrid women looked at Sherry and smiled at her. "Well, our dear sister mate," May began with a giggle in her voice as the Eevee girl moved closer to Sherry. "We do want to find Ash and help you and Dawn."
Serena nodded as she couldn't help but smile, knowing that Sherry needed to know how pointless it was fighting this. "Yeah, you should give in Sherry," Serena said, still having a smile on her face.
Lillie nodded as she hugged the Fennekin from behind. "Serena is right Sherry, I mean, why keep fighting this?" Lillie asked the Pachirisu girl as the Alola Vulpix girl soon moved closer.
Sherry became worried as she looked at the four hybrids. "I mean, you loved that night not too long ago Sherry," May soon pointed out to the Pachirisu girl.
Sherry was still worried as she turned to look at Lucario, hoping to get any ideas from him right now on what to do. 'I don't know, Sherry. I fear they will try to leave,' Lucario said, looking at her and then to the others but mainly at Anabel.
"Well, Lucario is right Sherry we want to leave and find Ash, he is our mate," Anabel said with a smile, knowing she never got the chance to see him. "So, why don't you let us go?"
"Or better yet," May began as she moved closer to the blonde Pachirisu hybrid, who started to back away from the Eevee hybrid. "You could also join us, Sherry, and let go of the humanity."
Hearing this from May and seeing the smiles that the others all had, Sherry back away, knowing she needed to get to the door. "No, thank you, May, you see I like keeping my human mind, and I know Dawn feels the same."
The four hybrids only smiled as they looked at each other. "Aww, come on, Sherry," May said with a smile forming on the brunette's face. "You do love Ash, right?"
Lillie smiled, looking to the others and to the door that would lead to their freedom. "Yeah, and we're all now pregnant," Lillie said as she rubbed her stomach with delight.
Serena soon had the same smile forming on her face. "I'm so happy that Ash is the father of my child," Serena said as she giggled and then looked at Sherry. "Come on, Sherry, aren't you happy to become a mother?"
Sherry said nothing as she continued looking at the four, and she knew what they were trying to do. "Sorry, I know what you are trying to do. So, I'll say it not it's not going to work," Sherry said, looking at the four, hoping Dawn and Sir Aaron would get back with Ash.
"Or maybe you should give in? I mean, who knows what will happen to our sister mate while she is looking for Ash," the voice inside Sherry's head seductively whispered to her. "Forget about everything and give into this new life."
Hearing the voice deep within her mind made Sherry scoff at it, something that Anabel noticed and smiled, wanting to free Sherry. "You should listen to the voice Sherry and give in, right girls?" Anabel asked as she looked at the others, and each one nodded their heads with joy.
"Yeah, I love it," Lillie said as she looked at her snow-white fur. "And all you need to do, Sherry is to give in, then we can all go find Ash."
"No, look we're going to find a cure, so until then all four of you will stay in this room until Dawn and Sir Aaron comes back with Ash. Who will have his human mind once again?" Sherry yelled at the four hybrid girls, but she knows she had to yell at them.
Sherry soon left the room and closed the door behind her as the Pachirisu hybrid sighed. "Damn, I was so worried they would try and all jump on me," Sherry said before she looked at Lucario.
'They still might try and leave, Sherry. You know that, right?' Lucario said, and Sherry nodded her head at Lucario before turning to look at the room.
"Yeah, I know, but what can I do?" Sherry asked as she hugged herself, becoming more worried as the voice kept whispering. "I hate that this fucking virus was even created."
'Sir Aaron and I will do all that we can to help train you three, I hope that Ash can return to us it will help us even more.' Lucario said as he soon looked out the window; he knew things worldwide are slowly becoming even worse.
'Sir Aaron and I will do all that we can to help train you three, I hope that Ash can return to us it will help us even more.' Lucario said as he soon looked out the window; he knew things worldwide are slowly becoming even worse.
"I just hope that you're right, especially since I'm still worried that Ash lost his human mind and who knows who he'll infect."
Those words made Lucario frown as he noticed the concerned expression on her face. 'Let's try not to think about the worst case scenario for the time being,' he told her, know it was too soon to assume that Ash would go out and infect others despite having officially fallen victim to the infection. 'For now, just have faith in Dawn and Sir Aaron, they'll be able to find Ash and bring him back soon.'
"But what if they don't find him in time?" asked Sherry as she was still worried about the possibility of the Pokémon World becoming doomed with no way of ever returning to normal. "What if I eventually fall victim before they return to the cabin?"
'Sherry, that's enough!' Lucario snapped sternly, he didn't mean to be harsh, but he needed to get Sherry to understand that everything would be okay in the end regardless of how worse they were currently becoming. 'You need to stop worrying, it is not going to cause them to return sooner. I should know, Sir Aaron and I had a similar moment 1000 years ago.'
Hearing this caused Sherry to then quickly recoil somewhat, but at the same time, she was rather surprised to hear Lucario had been like this before. "Is this true?" she asked, still uncertain of what to make of this revelation.
'Yes, actually several instances in actuality,' Lucario replied, knowing that Sherry, to some extent, reminded him of Sir Aaron when he was younger. 'It was when Sir Aaron was still new at being an Aura Guardian, he had been doubting his own abilities from time to time.'
Sherry started frowning, as she never knew that Sir Aaron was like this himself all those years ago. "I see," she said after taking in what was only just now revealed. "I'm sorry, I had no idea…."
'Don't worry about it, plus I shouldn't have snapped at you like that earlier,' said Lucario as it was clear he felt somewhat bad for his slight outburst. Even though it needed to be said before, Sherry eventually started giving in to the growing infection herself. 'Then again, from what I heard… Ash was concerned himself when he mentioned you killed someone he knew from the Sinnoh region even though I've been having mixed feelings about that person after finding out about him.'
"Ash told you about that huh?" Sherry started frowning when she found out she killed someone due to her inner demons slowly taking over her body at the time. "How did Sir Aaron take it?"
'He's the same as me, having developed mixed feelings about this Paul person due to how he treated his Pokémon during his time in the living' Lucario shrugged again. 'Sad that Reggie was a far nicer person than he was; it makes me wonder how he's going to be feeling about what became of his brother.'
Sherry didn't say much, but she knew many more people have died since this virus. "Yeah, I know, we need to..." Sherry began until she and Lucario heard something from within the room.
"Oh no..." Sherry said, knowing that the others no longer wanted to wait; they all wanted to find Ash. So Sherry and Lucario rushed into the room, seeing the broken window. "Shit, they left."
Davy and Virgil slowly made their way towards where the voices were coming from, with Team Eevee leading the charge in the rare case they were hostile. "Are you sure we should be doing this?" asked Davy as he knew that they needed to be careful since they were in an entirely new location that they're not familiar with at all.
"I'm positive, besides, we're just going to investigate the area nothing more."
There's nothing but silence coming from the older man since this was not like their previous missions, given the worldwide crisis that took place that's currently spreading all over the planet. "Still, we don't know if those are people we heard, Pokémon, or even anymore of those hybrids like the ones that attacked our home," he said with a stern expression on his face.
"We don't know unless we investigate, Davy," Virgil replied as he understood how his brother was feeling, given how they've lost their father to the infection not too long ago. "Maybe we'll be lucky and find others who are still human but in the worse case, Team Eevee will be able to fend them off if they are hybrids."
"It's not that I doubt they can handle this, but fighting a hybrid is not like taking on another Pokémon or even a Pokémon Poacher," said Davy as he wanted to make sure that Virgil knew what he's doing by going through with this whole thing. "I mean, what would happen if either one of us gets infection? Or even worse, both of us suffering this fate?"
Virgil frowned, lowering his head as he took that into account. "You know, I never really thought about it," he said after a few seconds to process what Davy said to him.
"Understandable since you're not really the kind of person to do something reckless or heading out without coming up with some sort of plan" Davy spoke again as he too could tell that what happened to their father was influencing him, which was understandable. "Our father would have told you that himself if he were here."
The younger man remained silent for a moment before suddenly hearing the sounds again, and the two brothers, as well as Team Eevee, went into hiding just in case. "We're getting close, we better move in slowly," he informed Davy as both knew they needed to be ready should it be hostile to them.
"Okay."
The brothers and Team Eevee continued down the path, knowing the two brothers should use the shadows and remain completely out of sight due to remaining uncertain of what they were up against or what they could do. 'Virgil, Davy, I think I see something,' Eevee whispered to her Trainer as she started catching a glimpse of what they heard earlier but needed to listen in more before confirming if they were either friendly or hostile.
"Well, I hope we are close," Dawn said, looking around, worried that Ash was trying to keep away from the two.
Sir Aaron nodded as he looked at the hybrid. "We'll find them," the long-dead aura guardian hopes that Dawn was doing okay. "What about you, Dawn? How is your mind doing?" Sir Aaron asked with concern.
Dawn looked at Sir Aaron as she sighed. "I can feel my mind going, the voice keeps telling me to let go and give in," the Buneary told him as she sighed. "I have no idea how long I have now."
Virgil, Davy, and Team Eevee were left completely speechless at the fact they were looking at a hybrid who retrained her human mind but, at the same time, wondering why she was talking to herself. "Who do you think she's talking to?" asked Davy as he looked at his younger brother.
The winner of the Unova League shrugged. "I have no idea Davy. Although I am worried about the fact she said before that she's losing her human mind," he replied as it was clear neither of them could see Sir Aaron nor hear him but couldn't help but feel worried for the young woman from the Sinnoh region and wondered what they could do for her.
It didn't take long before Virgil's Eevee decided to leave her hiding place, which surprised him, Davy, and the rest of Team Eevee the moment she headed towards Dawn was. "Eevee, come back here!" Virgil called out to the female Normal-Type but to no avail.
'Hey!'
"Huh?" said Dawn as she noticed Eevee approaching her, especially as it was the first time she would ever encounter the pre-evolved form of her mother's Umbreon. Dawn was also relieved that it's not a hybrid, although the Buneary girl also wondered about the young Evolution Pokémon's Trainer and if they were nearby, more so as humans than as hybrids. "What's an Eevee doing all the way here?"
Sir Aaron also looked at the Eevee with a smile. "Why hello, their little one, are you lost? Did your trainer become infected?" Sir Aaron asked as he looked at the Eevee with a smile.
"Could another hybrid be around here Sir Aaron?" Dawn asked, worried what it could do with her. "It might force me to lose my human mind," Dawn said with some concern on her face.
Sir Aaron looked at Dawn, seeing the fear forming on her face, knowing that male hybrids would try to make Dawn their mate. "Don't worry, Dawn, we'll run if it comes to it," Sir Aaron told the Buneary hybrid.
Dawn nodded as she hopes that it might be Ash, then they could bring his human mind back. "What if it's Ash?" Dawn asked Sir Aaron with a whisper, but that other side wanted Ash.
Sir Aaron thought about it, as he knew if Ash showed up, then he would do everything he could in getting Dawn. "You'll need to run, but only if I can't bring his mind back," Sir Aaron told Dawn.
The Buneary girl nodded at Sir Aaron but could hear the voice whisper to her, but all Dawn did was continue to ignore what it's telling her. The two watched as both Virgil and Davy stepped out, looking at Dawn with concern.
"Is it true that you have your human mind?" Davy asked as he looked at the Buneary hybrid.
"Damn!" Sherry cried out as she looked around the room but then out the window and could see the others running into the woods.
Lucario frowned, seeing the hybrids running into the woods. 'I don't like this if they find Dawn along with Ash..." Lucario began with fear that the four hybrids would want to find their mate.
Sherry sighed as she rubbed her head, knowing that Dawn had no idea. "We need to go after them, if they find her or Ash finds her with the others then," Sherry said, but the Pachirisu girl stopped talking.
'Sherry, it will be okay, you are Dawn have had training to help you with this,' Lucario told Sherry as she nodded but still sighed before sitting on the bed.
The thoughts of what happened the night Ash and the others all made love came to her mind. Sherry's hand moved to her stomach, thinking about the life that's growing inside her right now.
Sherry sighed, thinking about that night, knowing that she wished she still had Ash here with her. "You know you could leave and find out, mate," the voice soon whispered. "I mean, why keep fighting it? It whispered to Sherry.
However, even as the voice within her mind continued to whisper to her, Sherry ignored it. After all, she had more pressing issues to deal with right now than the voice inside her head.
"We need to make sure that our animal side won't take over, or possible get our human mind back if that side does take over," Sherry told Lucario, who nodded, hearing this from her.
Lucario looked at the window and into the woods that the others headed and frowned. 'I fear that the one known as Anabel will use her new powers to find Ash,' Lucario said as Sherry looked at him with concern and fear.
Sherry frowned at this, knowing that Anabel was somehow able to see Lucario. However, all Sherry could do was slowly node her head. "Yeah, but how the hell did she know about you? Or even see you, for that matter?"
'I have no idea, Sherry. I think she had some abilities before becoming infected,' Lucario said and knew that maybe it's thanks to Anabel becoming an Espeon. 'It might have enhanced her abilities.'
"Well, that's not good for us then," Sherry said, frowning before hearing someone outside the house.
Sherry and Lucario looked at the window to see who had arrived at the house. Once Sherry saw what's outside, it left her shocked by what she was seeing with her eyes. "What the hell?"
Meanwhile, Ash and his mate were running through the woods, the Lucario hybrid sniffing the air around him. "Seems like a few humans went this way," Ash said, looking at the ground.
Melody nodded as the Pikachu hybrid looked at Mallow and the three Miltank sisters. "Do you think it's other humans?" Melody asked as she looked at her mate.
Mallow had the same thoughts going through her head, too, as she looked at Summer, Spring, and Autumn. "We could find more of your friends Ash," Mallow said, hoping for some good news.
"I am worried they will force you to think like a human again," Autumn said with sadness, not wanting to lose their new mate. "You even said that this Sir Aaron and Lucario might know that you're free now."
Seeing the worry and fear in his mate's eyes, Ash looked at all of them and pulled the five hybrids closer to him. "Hey, I will not let that happen, I love each and every one of you," he told the five with a smile.
Autumn and the others smiled as they held Ash close, none wanting to let him go in fear of what would happen. "All, we need is to help get the others out of that house," Mallow said, knowing that Sherry and Dawn will cause them trouble.
"We'll get them, or they would come to us," Ash said with a primal smile, knowing that this was only the start.
Then, something clicked into the back of Melody's mind, remembering something important that she never previously mentioned to Ash when she saw him again. "You know, I've realized something… if I remember, your mother originally came to the Orange Islands following the disaster caused Lawrence III, right?" she asked the young male hybrid from Pallet Town.
"Yes, what about it?"
"Well, if your mother was willing to come all the way to the island, then where's your father?" asked Melody as she knew that if Ash had a mother, then it was possible, he could've had a father as well despite her having never seen him.
Hearing the Pikachu girl mentioning his father caused Ash to start frowning. It had been a very long time since his father got brought that up as it hadn't been the case since his talk with Delia on the videophone in the Viridian City Pokémon the first time he arrived at the city when he started as a Pokémon Trainer. "Oh, I'm sorry…" said Melody, becoming worried when seeing the young man she developed a crush on feeling down.
"Don't worry about it," Ash assured Melody, the comment caught him off guard, and he was not expecting it to get mentioned ever again. "To be honest, I never thought that anyone would bring up my father apart from my mom."
"Oh?" wondered Melody, becoming rather curious by what Ash had been talking about as even Mallow, Spring, Summer, and Autumn were wondering about it themselves. "What do you mean?"
"It's a long story but my dad started on a journey from Pallet Town years ago," Ash explained to the female hybrids with him. A part of him was wondering if he'd ever encountered his father during his journey and even suspected he might've become infected by the virus at this point himself. "I don't really remember much about him since I was young when he left home and never came back."
"I see," began Melody as she started frowning even more, finding herself holding onto him from behind in a bid to try and cheer him up. "I'm sorry for bringing it up, I honestly had no idea."
"Don't worry about it, you couldn't have known," Ash replied, appreciating the kind gesture from the Pikachu girl plus, he certainly did find her cute, even more so the way she was right now. But, then again, Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Mallow all looked cute as hybrids, something he didn't want to see changed at all, and at the same time, he looked forward to having the other girls by his side, especially Misty herself.
"Anytime and I'm sure we'll be able to find him somehow, I mean the virus spreading across the world would most likely affect him if another hybrid hadn't already done the deed."
"Yeah, that's true," Ash replied as he knew that Melody made a particularly good point on the matter, plus he had wondered how his father would react to him having many mates by his side. "I'm sure that if we look hard enough, we'll see if we'll at least get any clues on his whereabouts if we aren't able to find him right away."
Melody nodded her head before giving Ash a small peck on his cheek like when they first met at the Orange Islands. "You're right about," she said to the Lucario hybrid, smiling once again at the thought of possibly getting the chance to meet his father when they find him.
"You know, if he is a hybrid now then I assume the first thing he would do is head back home to see his family, especially since he would want to see how you and your mom are doing," began Mallow with a smile on her face although it did not last long as she started looking sad herself. "At least you have a mom and a dad, unlike me…."
"Huh?" wondered Ash as he looked at Mallow, noticing the expression she now had. "Is something the matter, Mallow?"
Taking a deep breath, Mallow explained everything she told Melody earlier on and did not want to leave out a single detail despite painful memories that she preferred not to relieve even as a hybrid. "Oh my god…" muttered Summer, unsure of what to make of this, and yet she and her sisters felt really bad not just for Ash but also for Mallow as well, more so the greenette due to finding out her mother died from an illness years ago. "How terrible."
"I know right?" added Spring as she saw that the poor girl who was with them was on the brink of tears the more that she thought about the passing of her mother.
"We're really and truly sorry for your loss, Mallow."
Mallow smiled as she heard this and looked at her new lovers. "Thanks, it still hurts," Mallow said with a smile on her face.
Melody nodded as she looked at Ash. "I know that Misty feels the same way as she lost her parents at a young age."
"What?!" asked Ash in absolute shock, especially as he looked directly towards Melody specifically and then thought about his travels through Kanto, the Orange Islands, and Johto. Nowhere had Misty ever mentioned that her parents were dead or even how or when they died. "Is this true?"
"Yes, I mean I couldn't believe it at first either," Melody replied with a slow nod; while she and her sister hadn't seen their parents in a long time, she still felt sorry for Mallow and Misty for their respective losses and wondered what to do to help the greenette feel better.
"I see," said Ash as he lowered his head a bit, thinking more of his time with Misty throughout most of his journey. Misty had been his longest-lasting female companion and often wondered what things would have been like if they continued traveling together after the Johto League Silver Conference had ended. "Why didn't she tell me?"
The others all looked at Ash, seeing the pain on his face. Melody placed her hand on Ash's shoulder, seeing the thoughtful look on his face. "I don't know Ash, but I think that it's too painful for her."
Ash nodded at what Melody said, he would need to wait until he saw Misty again, and then he would ask her.
The female hybrids looked at their mate. "Hmm, I still wonder how we'll deal with Lucario and Sir Aaron then Ash what if he makes us all human-minded again, I love this life," Melody said, looking at the other's fear that they would ruin everything they had.
Ash smiled as he looked at the Pikachu hybrid and mate. "Well, I won't let this happen, Melody." Ash said with a big smile.
Mallow nodded and knew that it's best to follow the tracks of this human. "We still need to find the human and help them become like us," Spring said with a smile and looked at Ash with deep love.
Spring's sister's giggled at this as they looked at Ash. "I hope that it's another female that can join us, we'll only if you know her," Summer said to Ash, who had a smile.
Ash nodded, thinking about his mates back at the house. "I like the sound of that my dear Summer," Ash said, thinking about other girls he encountered on his adventure. "It would be nice having another mate."
"Is that right?" asked Autumn as she looked at Ash before smiling. "In that case, I hope you won't mind all three of us joining in on the fun when we get the chance."
Ash smiled hearing this, and then he looked at his five new mates, already feeling the lust growing inside him. "Hmm, I wouldn't mind having another go with our sexy mate," Melody said with a seductive grin.
"Yeah, since we haven't had a chance yet," Autumn pulling Ash into a hug and smirked at her mate. "Since all of the mates you have are all pregnant I know my sisters and I would love the chance too."
"Oh, trust me, I want nothing more right now to have you three, and take you here," Ash said with a growl; just looking at the three new mates made him want them.
Letting out another growl, Ash smelled the three Miltank girls. All three Miltank hybrids smiled as Mallow and Melody looked at Ash with smiles hoping to find a home.
"I have no idea why they want us to all change back," Melody said with a scoff in her voice as she looked at Ash and the female hybrids. "I hope we never become human again."
The others all nodded with smiles forming on their faces. "Yes I want to stay like this too, besides you all look really beautiful like this," Ash replied, wanting to show them both that he genuinely meant what he said. "And besides, with all of you and the others we'll get and hopefully Misty will be able help make my harem complete by joining me."
After hearing this made all the females present stayed silent for all but a few seconds, and it didn't take long before both Mallow and Melody started glomping Ash at the same time. "Oh, trust us it's going to be so damn hot!" Mallow, showering the Lucario hybrid with kisses as did Melody, it's something that Ash genuinely enjoyed a lot and wanted to last for an exceptionally long time, but he needed to deal with Lucario and Sir Aaron.
"I'm glad that you girls are happy," said Ash as it was clear that he was truly showing his gratitude, remembering the last time he was kissed by Melody back at her hometown in the Orange Islands, and to be honest, he was glad to be remembering it too. "We better be ready in case Sir Aaron and Lucario came to find us."
"Okay," Melody said with a smile on her face as she giggled.
Autumn and her two sisters nodded at this, knowing they needed to make sure they are now ready. "Good idea."
Ash smiled at his mates, and soon they continued looking for who they are hunting. "I hope that we find something, while keeping away from Sir Aaron and Lucario," Ash said as his mates all nodded, and soon the six hybrids vanished into the woods.
Meanwhile, Misty was feeling tired as the Vaporeon girl looked at Zoey and Gary. Pikachu was also worried for Misty, knowing that Misty looked tired from the walking. 'Misty, are you okay?' Pikachu asked, concerned that something was very wrong with her.
"You don't think that her hybrid side is taking over, do you?" Zoey asked as she looked at Misty before looking at Gary. "I mean, it's hard to tell with them."
Gary nodded as he moved to look at Misty, hoping that she wasn't losing her mind. "Hey, you doing okay?" Gary asked as he placed a hand on her shoulder.
Misty nodded as she looked up at Gary and gave him a weak smile. "Yeah, I'm okay. I'm just getting so tired," Misty said, taking some deep breaths as they all looked at her. "Don't worry, Gary. I still have my human mind I just feel so..." Misty began but soon fell to the ground as she passed out in front of everyone.
Pikachu seeing Misty failing to the ground, was the first to rush over to her, worried about what's happening to his old friend. 'Misty!'
'What's the matter with her Pikachu?' Glaceon asked as she looked at Pikachu, knowing that Misty was okay only a short while ago.
Gary was also worried, and he looked Misty over and sighed, seeing she wasn't hurt. "No, I think she passed out from," Gary said, wondering what caused her to pass out like this.
'Well, her transformation did hurt her,' Buneary said as she had the same concern as Pikachu and Glaceon. 'And since then, she hasn't gotten any rest," Buneary said as she looked at Misty worried that she had pushed herself too hard.
Zoey looked at the poor Vaporeon hybrid and knew they needed a place to rest and wait for Misty to wake up. "Wait, I think I can see a house," Zoey said as everyone then looked at the house.
Gary was now thinking about it, seeing a broken window. "We still need to watch out we have no idea if there are any hybrids within the house."
"You don't need to tell me twice," the red-haired girl from Sinnoh replied with a frown on her face, knowing that they all needed to be ready for the worse that could be thrown at them, while they were lucky enough to have found Misty and she still had her human mind, that didn't mean they'll be lucky to meet with someone who was like her there.
Gary then looked at Misty as he picked her up in his arms as they all began running to the house, hoping to get some rest. "I hope that this place is safe for us," Gary said as they got closer to the house.
Once they got closer to the house, they watched as the door opened and saw a Pachirisu hybrid walking out of the house. "This doesn't look good Gary," Zoey said with a whisper.
Gary nodded as he looked at the female Pachirisu hybrid coming over to them. "I know we better watch out," Gary said as Pikachu and the other Pokemon nodded and planned what they should do next.
"Hey!"
Hearing this got the attention of Gary, Zoey, and the Pokémon with them as Sherry suddenly approached them. She saw the looks of hostility on their respective faces, especially Pikachu, whose cheeks were sparking since he's about ready to attack her should she attempt to do anything hostile to anyone present. "Wait, I know that it's going to sound strange but I'm actually not here to harm you," she spoke to the group, being as truthful as possible since it's clear she's never seen any of them before in her life but wanted to assure them she's friendly.
"Oh really?" asked Gary as it was clear that neither he nor Zoey could trust Sherry given her current appearance and the Pokémon with the two shared those sentiments. "How do we know it's not just a trick to make us lower our guard? In fact, how can we be certain you're even alone?"
"That's because the other hybrids that were in the house had long since escaped. I was about to head out to find them when I noticed you came along," answered Sherry as she needed to be careful with what she was saying to avoid having to defend herself. Unlike when she encountered Paul not too long ago following her transformation into a hybrid. After all, she genuinely meant no harm and was hoping to get them to see that somehow. "Besides, if I wanted to infect you, I would've done so right away instead of trying to convince you otherwise."
Zoey turned towards the young man from Pallet Town. "You know, she does make a good point all things considered," she replied to the former Pokémon Trainer-turned-Pokémon Researcher. So far, there was not anything hostile coming from this new girl. "She hadn't actually tried to infect us nor was she attempting to attack the Pokémon."
"Even so, we don't even know this girl unlike with Misty," Gary replied, turning towards Zoey since he didn't want to take any chances regarding Sherry in the of chance it was indeed a trap. Since he already had to deal with Team Rocket members at one point or another, regardless of whether it's Jessie, James, and Meowth, or even Butch and Cassidy. "What makes you think she wouldn't be secretly hiding hybrids inside the house she said they supposedly escaped from?"
"Wait a minute, Misty?" asked Sherry as the name since it sounded familiar to her, remembering her conversation with Ash regarding someone he knew and then turned her attention towards Pikachu, Glaceon, and Buneary. "You must be the Pokémon that Ash, May, and Dawn lost when they got infected aren't you?"
Everyone present was completely shocked when they heard her mentioning Ash, May, and Dawn themselves as if she knew them personally. 'You know mama?' asked Glaceon, her hostility decapitating and now replaced with hope that her human mother was with her.
"Wait, mama?" Sherry was becoming confused by what the female Fresh Snow Pokémon referred to May as, having no clue who she was talking about and looked at the others.
'She's actually referring to May, who she sees as her human mother since she hatched from her egg as an Eevee back in Fuchsia City when Ash was taking on the Battle Frontier,' said Pikachu, answering Sherry's question since he too was rather confused by the revelation she revealed. 'Now that I think about it, how is it that you know her, Ash, and Dawn for the matter?'
Sherry smiled as she looked at the three Pokemon and could see that the two humans wanted to know the same thing. "Well, Ash was here, so was Dawn and a few others," Sherry said and soon began telling them how she knows Ash and the others.
"This isn't good then," Gary said that his old friend and former rival had joined the other hybrids. "I better tell my grandfather and Ash's mom."
"But first you better that Misty to a room, poor thing," Sherry said, looking at the Vaporeon hybrid that Gary was holding in his arms.
The two humans followed the hybrid until they reached one of the many bedrooms as Gary placed Misty on the bed. "I don't think we got your name?" Zoey asked as she stared at the Pachirisu girl.
The hybrid smiled as she looked at the two. "Oh right, my name is Sherry," the blonde hybrid said with a smile.
Gary and Zoey nodded as they looked at Sherry while the two sighed. "Are there any free beds here?" Zoey asked as she looked at Sherry, hoping to get some sleep.
Sherry nodded, seeing that the two are also tired, maybe from running all this time from the hybrids outside, looking for more humans to infect. "Yeah, there are a few here," Sherry said and pointed to two rooms.
Gary and Zoey nodded as they went to get some rest but stopped as they looked a Misty still see she was asleep. Sherry sighed, hoping that Dawn would come back soon and that Sir Aaron had saved Ash.
"Aww, don't be like that, Ash is our mate, and now he is free," the voice whispered to Sherry and let out a giggle. "And now. Oh yes, Sherry, now we have another sister mate. It would be best if you let go of your humanity, Sherry."
"It won't work," Sherry began hating that the voice wasn't leaving her alone, but her eyes looked at Misty, who hadn't woken up, and she wondered would she keep her human mind. "However, I do hope she has her human mind."
Later that night, Misty slowly started waking up as she looked around, seeing she was now in a room. "How did I get here?" Misty asked, knowing she's in a house.
Misty soon got off from the bed while she continued to look around the room, not seeing anyone around, and that began to worry her. "I hope nothing happened," Misty said with fear in her voice.
Misty knew that Gary and Zoey also had to be somewhere within the house. The only thought she had right now is that the two and Pikachu were safe here, at least for now. "I better go see the others and tell them I'm still me," Misty said, looking out the window seeing Pikachu, who is with Glaceon and Buneary.
Misty headed towards the door without any more thoughts and to see what the next thing they should do next. Maybe they could find the others before it's too late, not knowing what's happening with her friends at this moment.
Misty sighed one last time, heading towards the door, only for the Vaporeon girl to stop seeing it was opening, with an unknown voice on the other side. Within that moment, fear began to fill Misty's mind, not sure what she should do. The only thought that came to her mind at this moment was to fight this stranger and find Gary, Zoey, and her friends Pokemon.
