There are times in life we meet someone who impacts us so hard they imprint themselves on our soul. One such meeting begins In a ninja village called Konoha on a beautiful day in the park. Our herion of this story is Sakura Haruno, she is the only child of Mebuki and Kizashi Haruno. She loves to read and learn new things but she is very shy and introverted. Poor Sakura doesn't have any friends because she is so shy and has a larger than normal forehead. Since she turned 5 her parents let her go to the park alone since they are both working merchants.
A tiny pink haired child is sitting alone on the swings alone in the park staring at the other children is envious of them playing ninja but scared and too shy to ask to play. Unknown to her, a group of girls who came to the park to play decided they wanted to go swing but when they got there they saw Sakura on the swing. The purple haired leader growled and stormed up to Sakura, followed by her 2 friends and surrounded her. The leader of the group shoved Sakura hard off the swing and laughed as she hit the ground. Sakura lips start trembling as she mutters, "w-why d-d-did you d-d-do that?"The leader said with her hands on her hips, "this is our swing so beat it forehead girl!"
Sakura stares at them while they laugh and poke at her forehead and pull her hair and starts crying and curling in a ball. She didn't understand why they were being mean and said,"please l-leave me al-lone!" While tears pour from her large green eyes she sees a yellow blurry figure run up behind the girls. "HEY! LEAVE HER ALONE!" The girls whipped around to yell but upon seeing who yelled at them, they ran away screaming about the demon after them.
Sakura, not understanding what they saw that was so scary, wiped her eyes and glanced up to see nothing scary but instead saw two big beautiful eyes, round cheeks with three whisker marks, and bright yellow hair. She gasps as her savior kneels before her. "Are you ok dattebayo?"He asked. Sakura is so aw struck from his beautiful eyes and can't do anything but nod. "Good! I'm glad you are ok. Oh my name is Naruto Uzumaki and I'm gonna become Hokage someday dattebayo!" He states while pointing to his chest. Sakura giggles at his introduction and gives him a small smile. Naruto grins at her smile and asks what her name is. "I-im Sakura H-haruno. T-thank you f-for saving m-me." She states while twiddling her fingers. He grins so much bigger and so brightly at her and laughs while rubbing the back of his head, "it's no problem! I know what it's like to be picked on and no one is standing up for me, so when I saw you were alone and those girls shove you, well I knew what I had to do"
She gives Naruto a bigger smile when he holds his hand out to help her up. do you maybe wanna play with me? I understand if you wont. Naruto as he stares in her green eyes. Sakura also stares into his beautiful blue eyes and feels her soul lighten upon his smile. -yes, I would like to play with you. Want to play tag or ninja? asks excitedly.
Naruto laughs bouncing around, 's play tag for now and YOUR IT! yells as he runs away. Sakura froze for a second and blinked…. She realizes what happened and starts chasing Naruto. They ran back and forth for hours playing tag and ninja. After what seems like days of running, Sakura dropped on the ground panting and smiling soooooo big. She hears Naruto drop beside her and she turns to grin at him and he is panting also with a large smile. Sakura turns and looks back up at the slightly darker sky, you Naruto. This has been one of the best days I have had. I'm glad to have met you! says while blushing completely pink. Naruto gasped and teared up because no one had ever said that to him. "D-d-does that mean we are friends Sakura-chan?"He mutters as he wipes his eyes. Sakura nods while stating firmly, we are best friends now! You saved me from bullies and played with me and never one did you make fun of my forehead or hair!"
Naruto grins and laughs while jumping around excitedly. "THANK YOU SAKURA-CHAN! I promise to be the best friend ever! Also, I don't think your forehead is big and I like your hair!"He promises and states blushing also. Sakura smiles also while getting up and trying to stop her blushes from getting any redder. She looks at the sky one more time and then turns to Naruto. "I have to head home now. Will you be here tomorrow? "Sakura asked. She feels sad when Naruto's smile drops and a frown starts forming. Naruto is sad she has to leave but feels excited when she asks if he will be here tomorrow. "Yes, I'll be here." He grins at her. She nods and gives Naruto a big hug. She squeezes him when he gasped before squeezing her also. Naruto has never been hugged before and now all he can think is he wants more.
Sakura lets him go and turns to walk away.
"Bye Naruto! I'll see you tomorrow." She says while waving. She leaves the park and looks back one more time to see him still waving. She grins and heads home thanking Kami for one Naruto Uzamaki future hokage.
