Chapter Twelve: Planning a Reunion
(Ghost Zone)
"I know that you are awake." Danny said as he stood before the chained Goa'uld.
"Where am I?" Setesh asked glaring.
"Consider it a very special prison." Danny said. "The only people here right now are you and me."
"What do you want?" Setesh asked. "I thought you were going to bring me before Osiris and Isis?"
"That comes later. For right now I want you to explain this." Danny said.
He pulled out a data pad and projected the image of the Spear of Osiris(1). The golden spear capped at the end with a star.
"You stole that from my vault." Setesh growled glaring at him with pure hatred in those eyes with glowing yellow sclera.
"Don't act so angry." Danny said looking at the hologram. "You stole it first."
The Spear of Osiris had been forged by the actual Goa'uld during his reign over Egypt. The blade used a vibrational technology to enhance the piercing power. Setesh had claimed it as a prize after he betrayed his siblings to Ra. Out of all his treasures and trophies Setesh kept it with him during his travels.
According to the memories of Selene one night a drunk Setesh ranted that during the rebellion that cast the Goa'uld off-world Setes had lost the spear among other treasures. After he regained the weapon, he learned that it had gained the ability to cut through any supernatural creature on Egyptian land.
Normally he would have though it just another exaggeration but when he looked at the weapon it glowed with energy and ancient hieroglyphic symbols. It was easy to see that it had been empowered by what the people of this world called magic.
He wanted to know the reason why.
"It is not the only thing I plan to take." Danny said.
He had Setesh connected to a B.R.A.I.N. cube to steal the information but given the amount of time that he had been alive it would take too long. It would be easier to get the information from the source.

"Do you not think this is a bit much?" Kenna asked him as she took a seat.
"This is supposed to be a wonderful memory, so I want to make every moment count." Danny said as he looked at the lake.
"When will you be back?" Kenna asked him as they watched the clouds floating above them.
"Depending on how the talks go it might be from a few months to a year." Danny said. "You do not have to worry I plan on leaving a duplicate in my place."
That way he could basically enjoy his vacation while helping out Nirtti.
"Why must you go?" Kenna asked sitting up as she brushed a strand of her hair behind her head.
"An issue has arisen in my kingdom, and I must see what it is about." Danny said.
"What kind of issue?" Kenna asked.
"Knowing Nirtti and her kind they probably are aiming to strike down another god or goddess." Danny said.
"A war between the gods." Kenna said in awe.
"It sounds interesting but really the gods rarely involve themselves directly." Danny said. "I did not think you had much interest in the gods."
"That is true. That sort of thing was more Lola's expertise." Kenna said. "She could talk to you about all kinds of stories. From Greek heroes to Norse berserkers."
It was part of what drew his attention to her in the first place.
"I have something I want to ask you." Kenna said hesitantly.
"Yes?" Danny asked.
"What do you plan on doing with Lola?" Kenna asked. "This world is not kind to a woman alone. Especially when one was about to have a child. When Lola gives birth to her child word is going to spread. No man at court would take her for a wife. She is going to have to marry far below her station, and I do not want that to happen to one of my close friends."
"What were you thinking?" Danny asked.
"I was wondering if you knew a rich noble that would be kind to Lola when she had the child?" Kenna asked.
"I have been thinking on the matter." Danny said.
"You mean it?" Kenna asked, "King Henry made promises to me too but he never fulfilled them."
"Yes. I plan to think on it while I am away" Danny answered as he conjured a small box. "Before I do leave though I wanted to give you a present."
"What is that?" Kenna asked looking at the box.
The box opened revealing a ring but instead of a gem at the center there were twelve pearls connected in a circle. He had created each pearl before having a jewel crafter forge them with metal.
"It is something that I thought that you would like." Danny said with a smile as he watched her put it on.
She is very similar to Nirrti in that something shiny was very likely to take their attention off of whatever had made them angry or sad. He had placed the real one on top of her dresser so that when she woke up, she would see it.
He planned to give Nirtti the Spear of Osiris. She had been on the planet during the time of Osiris and had been one of the first Goa'uld to be granted a human to serve as a vassel by Ra. Before they had learned of the Asgard, and before she had become a system lord. The spear would be a symbol of both status and nostalgia. It would keep her happy if he did not feel good about this meeting he was heading to.
He did not plan on telling her everything he was up to.
She would start bragging and he preferred not being surrounded by Goa'ulds trying to learn his secrets. It would be even worse if Ra found out what was going on. Hiding enemies of Ra alongside his second Queen would just send the Goa'uld into a panic.
He might try and use the Eye of Ra and nobody really needed that.
"Thank you. This ring looks beautiful." Kenna said as she looked at the ring.
"That is not all." Danny said as he looked at the sparkle in her eye.
He then caused the replicas of the Jaffa to appear with instruments.
"What is going on?" Kenna asked.
"I wanted us to be here so that I could sing you this song." Danny said as the water in the lake began to rise and change shape.
It started out with a detailed image of Kenna standing on a balcony the castle looking into the distance where a detailed image of him was standing on a flying carpet. He was singing lead while the Jaffa played backup.
I can show you the world
Shining, Shimmering, Splendid.
I can open your eyes,
Take you wonder by wonder
Over, sideways, and under on a magic carpet ride.
The images of them changed to the magic carpet flying them over the castle, under the trees, and sideways through the clouds.
"What in the world?" Kenna asked shocked.
A new fantastic point of view
No one to tell us "No" or where to go
or say we're only dreaming.
The image shifted to him taking Kenna to places all throughout the world. The leaning tower of Pisa, Stonehenge, Machu Picchu, The Great wall of China, and other beautiful and famous places.
Unbelievable sights and indescribable feeling
Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling
Through an endless diamond sky.
The image shifted again to them climbing higher and higher into the sky. The water swirling around them but kept controlled by his telekinetic grip on the water.
"This is amazing." Kenna said with a sparkle in her eye.

"That was amazing." Kenna said with a smile on her face.
"Thank you." Danny said as he sat back down on the blanket and caused the Jaffa to disappear.
"There is one thing that would make me feel even better." Kenna said as she reached for his hands.
"What do you mean? What was wrong with the song?" Danny asked feeling a bit insecure.
He thought that he had done a great job performing the song.
"Nothing was wrong with the song. I wanted to know what are you planning to do to help the Archduchess?" Kenna asked him as she looked him in the eyes.
"What do you mean?" Danny asked as he hid a smile on his face.
"You know very well what I mean. The King and Queen are throwing a feast to celebrate the signing of the treaty." Kenna said. "According to what you said King Henry is going to throw her off of the balcony during the event."
"I plan on making sure that Archduchess Cecillia survives his attempt on her life." Danny said.
The moment she woke up she was going to drink human blood and complete the transformation. He already had the servant picked out that would provide the blood. It was going to cause suffering to Greer, but he had plans in place for that as well.
"Wouldn't it be better to prevent the attempt from happening." Kenna said to him. "If she survives then she is going to tell her brother what happened and start a war against France."
"I will make sure that does not happen." Danny said.
"You promise that she will be okay, and this won't start a problem for Mary?" Kenna asked.
"There is no need to doubt me, Lady Kenna." Danny said as he held her hands in his. "I want Queen Mary to be happy and safe as well."
"Well, that is kind of difficult with you keeping Francis locked up." Kenna said looking at him with what would one day might be called a puppy dog pout.
"That came about due to their stubbornness." Danny argued.
"Yet I look at her every day she is separated from Francis and my heart breaks for her." Kenna said causing him to sigh.
"I told Queen Catherine and King Henry that if they wanted to talk about our deal, they had to bring me a real witch. They still have yet to achieve such an easy task." Danny said.
Seriously it was like they were trying to fail at meeting his offer.
"They are trying as hard as they can, but do you not think that your standards are a bit high. I know they have brought over twenty people to the castle for you but there is something that you do not like." Kenna said.
Like the fact that none of them were actual witches. It seems that he would have to use the database based on Qetsiyah's knowledge if he wanted to find the location of actual witches.
"Very well Lady Kenna. I will not return Prince/King Francis, but I can at the least let them speak to each other." Danny said trying to sound as resigned as possible.
He had been wanting to find a reason to give Queen Catherine the contact orb that he used to record Prince/King Francis.
"Thank you." Kenna said wrapping her arms around him in a tight hug.
She had no idea what she was thanking him for.

"You are an utter bastard." Lola said as she came charging at him.
"That is not untrue but what have I done today that has made you so angry?" Danny asked looking up from his pile of books.
He had moved past French history and is learning Chinese history.
"You told Kenna that I am pregnant with Francis' child." Lola said.
"You are though." Danny said with a smile.
"That does not matter. I wanted to figure out a way to deal with this." Lola said.
"I have been here near two months, and you have not told anyone anything. Soon you will have to stop hiding behind an illusion and show that you are pregnant." Danny said.
"I do not know what to do." Lola said as she started crying.
"Do not worry. I know of a way to make all your problems go away." Danny said as he started rubbing Lola's hand.
"Are you serious?" Lola asked.
"Remember back when we met before all of this happened. I came to you in your dreams and told you that I could help you. All you need to do is trust me." Danny said looking at Lola and tilting his head.
He wondered if should marry Lola and Sebastian? The two had gotten along great but had not been able to move forward due to Sebastian's feelings towards Mary.
"How can you expect me to believe that when you are holding Francis and Sebastian prisoner?" Lola asked him.
"I should tell you that Lady Kenna has convinced me that I should let the royal family and friends speak with Prince/King Francis and Sebastian." Danny said.

(Jade Arrow, Mars)
"Hello Prince/King Francis." Danny said as he looked in the cell with a smile.
"What is it now?" Prince/King Francis asked as he stood up from the bed and walked to the barrier separating them.
"I have come today to bring you a gift." Danny said with a smile.
"I doubt any gift you give me would be something that I would want." Prince/King Francis said looking around the cell.
"What are you doing?" Danny asked.
"Waiting for the noise to turn on. The racket that it made may have hurt my ears and caused a headache, but it would be preferable to listing to you talk." Prince/King Francis said.
"Unfortunately, this is not a gift I am going to allow you to refuse." Danny said as he brought down the barrier and signaled his Jaffa to take him. "I am going to reunite you with your brother Sebastian."
"I refuse your gift." Prince/King Francis said glaring at him. "I do not know what you are planning but I know that is just another way for you to try and control me."
"Prince/King Francis you are being stubborn. All I want is to see two brothers find peace." Danny said as they started walking.
"There is something in it for you, but it is not peace." Prince/King Francis growled.
He walked him into an interrogation room.
"Why have you brought me here?" Sebastian asked.
"I have decided to let your family speak to you." Danny said as his Jaffa pushed Prince/King Francis inside. "First I have to do some work on you though."
Danny watched as they tried to reach the door before it shut.
There was a smile on his face as he watched knockout gas flooded the room.
Afterwards they fell he would get the Nish'ta.

"Can I help you?" Danny asked as he stared at the witch standing in front of him.
She is a tall woman with blonde hair.
"Are you the one that helped Qetsiyah?" The woman in front of him asked.
"Do you wish to make a deal?" Danny asked.
"My name is Esther Mikaelson and I wish to talk with you." Esther said.
"Alright Esther what do you want?" Danny asked.
"I want you to kill my children." Esther said.
'Wow.' Danny thought "I am going to need more of an explanation."
"I am the witch that created the vampire species." Esther said. "I want you to correct my mistake."
"Tell me why you turned your children into vampires first." Danny said.
"It all began in what you call Norway..." Esther said as she began her tale.
How she had been a simple witch that had been kidnapped in a Viking Raid alongside her sister. How she and her husband Mikael had fallen in love and gotten married. She made a deal with her sister to be able to have children. Her sister Dahlia had demanded in return that she take the firstborn child from her and each of her children to perform a spell for power and hurt her family. After losing Freya they fled to the New World and had a family. Their youngest son Henrik had been killed by werewolves and in his grief her husband asked to make his children immortal and indestructible to make sure nothing like this happens again.
In anger her son Nikalus had killed her over what she had done to them.
'This is what Aunt Oma meant.' Danny thought to himself. "Why do you wish them dead?"
"I have seen the pain they have went through and I have been cursed to feel the pain of all of their victims as well." Esther said.
"Alright but how would I go and do this?" Danny asked.
According to Laurent's memories the Originals cannot be killed. Not by werewolf bite, not by wooden stake, and not by sunlight.
"You need to use the wood from a white Oak tree. Carve that into a stake and stab them in the heart. That will end them, and all the vampires connected to them." Esther said.
"That is good to know." Danny said at this revelation of how to control the vampire species revealed itself. "We could do that, or I could make them human again."
"The cure is gone. Even if Qetsiyah helped you make another that would put them at risk. Dahlia will hunt them down." Esther said.
"I can move them to a place she will never find them." Danny offered.
