Chapter Thirty-One: First Steps to a New World
(Royal Castle, France)
"I assume that you have a task for me?" Violet asked.
Violet Mazurski is a vampire that had been turned by Kol in the thirteenth century.
"Yes. I want you to go to Spain and become friends with the queen." Danny said.
Whether it was by compulsion or by acting he wanted Leeza to think that Violet was a friend that she could count on. It would be interesting to see if it worked. Violet is a hedonist that tried to enjoy everything that life had to offer. Queen Leeza was a rather restrained and proud Catholic. Either it would be hilarious or explode violently and he was curious to see which way it would end.
"Is there anything you want done specifically?" Violet asked.
"I have no major concerns with her at the moment, but I do wish you to compel her to tell her siblings to write back to their mother." Danny said.
"If it is what you wish." Violet said.
He saw the flash of anticipation in her eyes. Her village had been tortured by the Spanish Inquisition to get them to convert to Christianity during the crusades. She had converted under duress and fear as the inquisitors killed any that had refused. She might have become a devout Catholic in the years since but that did not mean she had gotten rid of her desire for revenge.
"Try not to hurt the French royal family. Also, if the King Phillip annoys you and you feel your sadistic desires rising make a move on Prince Don Carlos." Danny said.
"My King?" Violet asked.
"It is rumored that the prince is a masochist. He hides this desire from the king for fear of reaction." Danny said.
He had no idea whether he was giving the prince a gift or a curse. With Violet's blood he could be pushed farther than he ever could before.
"Very well." Violet said.
"Make sure that you do not kill him though. Kylan will be your handler and can contact me if you need anything." Danny said ending the conversation as he deactivated the contact orb.
"Do you have something that you want to say?" Danny asked turning to Elizabeth of York as she watched him.
"I am just wondering how you will keep your promise to me." Elizabeth of York said.
"Do not worry I am keeping a constant watch over Elizabeth. She is in no danger." Danny said.
"You are driving the countries to war. It would be no surprise if some enemy of her decide to try to eliminate her to gain favor with Mary." Elizabeth of York said.
"If it will make you feel better, I have had some vampires infiltrate the English court." Danny said as he started spinning his straw through his cup.
"How would that make things better?" Elizabeth of York asked. "I dislike those parasites and would rather they be nowhere near MY granddaughter. They are creatures of darkness that find joy in slaughter and mayhem."
"You have to compromise with me somewhere." Danny said to her as he put his hand on his fist.
Eizabeth of York shook her head and walked away.
He would take that as a yes.
"Contact Fared." Danny said to the contact orb at the table.
"What do you require of me my king?" Fared asked.
"I have a task for Pearl." Danny said.
"State your intent and I will pass it to her." Fared said.
"I want Pearl to compel Prince Louis and Henry to split their army when they move to challenge King Henry. I want Louis in one with the Sword of Damocles and Henry in another with the Spear of Longinus." Danny said.
The original wanted to see both weapons in action before he took them.
"Your wish will be fulfilled." Fared said.
There was a knock at the door.
"Good that is all. It seems my guest have finally arrived." Danny said as he caused Fared's projection to vanish and deactivated the contact orb. "Come in."
Iok walked into the room. He had guard outside the room alongside Yulane.
"Your guest is here my king unfortunately he has brought someone along with him." Iok said showing the image of Eric Northman and another woman.
"Who is she?" Danny asked.
"The woman is Pamela Swynford De Beaufort. She is the owner of the brothel that we found the vampire Eric Northman. It seems that when the vampire had been informed that he had been summoned she requested to come along." Iok said.
"Let them in." Danny said waving his hand.
The woman is a surprise but perhaps he could find a way to use her.

"What have you called us here for?" Eric Northman asked as he and Pam stood before him. "I had been relaxing trying to drink and whore so much that I could forget what a terrible year it has been."
"Clearly that has not worked for you." Danny said looking at them with a smile. "Do not worry I have something in mind that will take your mind off of it."
"What do you mean?" Eric asked.
"I called you here because I have a mission for you." Danny said as he tapped the desk. "I do not know why your friend is here."
The original during his attempt to drive Marduk mad had discovered a new world.
"I am not going to leave Eric alone." Pamela Swynford De Beaufort said.
She may have been trying to appear calm, but Danny could hear the rapid rate her heart was pumping. She was afraid but that would not stop her from speaking her mind. She wanted to spend the rest of her life with Eric even though she knew that he would not age. If he separated them he had no doubt she would show up constantly demanding that he tell her where he had sent Eric.
"No matter. You can go with him." Danny said.
"Can I refuse the offer?" Eric asked.
"That is not an option." Danny said shaking his head.
"What's stopping me from reaching across this desk and crushing the life out of you?" Eric asked standing up.
"There are many reasons, but I should tell you that this body you see is just a duplicate." Danny said. "Basically, an autonomous puppet. My real body is nowhere close to this castle. Another one can be sent before the day is done. Then you will experience suffering. Have you ever suffered a werewolf bite?"
Hearing that sent Eric into the chair behind him and he gripped the handrails tightly.
"Why do I have the feeling that this could be dangerous for my health?" Eric asked.
"I will admit that I am risking you because you had attempted to kill me back in Sweden." Danny said.
He would have been fine with risking Lucien as well, but he was one of the four pillars of vampire society he was building made of the oldest vampires in each line. Tristan and Aurora's group were combined as one since they were always together, and Aurora was not consistently stable enough to lead her branch on her own.
"Where are we going?" Eric asked.
"Further than either of you has ever gone. Further than any vampire has gone before. " Danny answered as he displayed a hologram of the kingdom. "This is a continent called Westeros."
The Original had discovered it during his raid of Pelops' world.
Erics mission is to test if a vampire could be made on another world. This new planet is a good enough choice as any.
He could feel their confusion.
"I have never heard of such a place." Eric said.
"It would be weird if you had. No shop in this kingdom has a map of where you will be going." Danny said.
"How is that possible?" Pam asked.
"This continent is on another world." Danny said. "Follow me and you will understand how you will get there."
The original might have wanted their destination to be a surprise, but he felt it was better that they knew what they would be dealing with.

"What is that?" Pam asked as she stared at the Chappa'ai.
Eric was just as stunned as Pam was, but he was trying hard to seem as if he was unimpressed.
"That is the gateway to your adventure." Danny answered as he looked at his guinea pigs and read their feelings.
"How does this thing work?" Eric asked.
"The science would just confuse you." Danny said as he activated the Chappa'ai.
The Original had already sent a duplicate to wait for them and see how Eric reacted to Westeros. Not to mention that there were things that he wanted to take while he was there.
"How dangerous is this going to be?" Eric asked.
"For Pam and I? We should be fine. The big question is will you survive the journey after you have arrived at your destination." Danny told him. "That is why I want you to wear this environmental suit."
In case the vampire burst into flames or exploded the moment he stepped on another world.
The Originals survived their transfer to Dinai but they were held in a coffin in stasis. Not to mention their immortality made them unable to be killed except for being stabbed in the heart with white oak. So, going to another world would not have affected them that much.
"Let's go Pam." Eric said with a sigh as he put on the suit.
"Eric, you heard him. This could kill you." Pam said trying to get him to stop and think for a moment.
"If I refuse this man will kill me. At least this way even if something happens to me you will be alive, and he can bring you back." Eric said.
"That's a good attitude to have. Keep it up and we can all be friends and get along." Danny said as he watched the two of them walk into the swirling doorway.
It took ten minutes, but the contact orb activated. It was in message format as the world that he had sent them two was a far distance away from Earth.
It seemed like Eric was fine and the daylight amulet that he was wearing protected him there as well. Now he knew that he could send vampires to serve as spies for him on the worlds of his enemies.
'Good. Now I should probably check on how Nirtti is doing with growing Finn and Rebekah new bodies.' Danny thought to himself.
Qetsiyah had written down a spell that let him transfer the souls of people from one body to another. A function of the spell is to create an anchor between them so in the event that they would be killed they would be thrust back into the original body that he is keeping safe in his castle back on Dinai.
He would get Delphine to perform it.
