Episode 426: Ill-Will Hunting
After dealing with Rose for a second time, Sora, Kairi, Arthur, Wes, Rui, Michael, Pikachu, and Angel are joined by Rei as they continue to move on toward Hearthome City. It didn't take long for Roxas, Xion, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Chase, Elaine, Lucas, Dawn, and the DigiDestined teams to learn about this. Along the way, they look over the map.
"According to the map, the best way to make it over Hearthome City is by making it through Mount Cornonet," Rei said.
"Mount Cornonet is said to be highest mountain in Sinnoh. But there could be some Pokémon that we hadn't seen in the wild yet," Michael said.
"Yeah, like what?" Sora asked. He got his answer when he saw a Pokémon with a white upper body and brown lower body that resembles a snow-covered tree. It has two-thirds. It has green eyes and three points on top of its head. Its feet and green tail are stubby, and there are two green spikes that resemble pinecones on its back. Five cones form its hand: a large central cone with four smaller cones around it. "Who's that Pokémon?" Sora took out his Rotom Phone and scanned it.
Snover, the Frost Tree Pokémon
Type: Grass/Ice
It lives on snowy mountains. It sinks its legs into the snow to absorb water and keep its own temperature down.
"A Snover. And it's a Grass-type and an Ice-type. Such a cool combination. No pun intended," Sora said.
"Yeah, but didn't your Rotom Phone just mention Snover living in snowy mountains? It's not exactly snowy around here," Michael said.
"Mount Corononet must be very close-by, so it's not unsual for Snover to climb down from mountains," Wes said.
"Yeah, but it's not exactly chilly around here," Arthur said.
"Maybe he just climbed down because there must be some kind of food he couldn't find up in the mountain," Kairi guessed.
"Probably. He looks like a useful Pokémon to catch, so might as well make the most of it," Sora said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Chimchar! Go!" His Pokéball opened and Chimchar emerged from inside, ready to battle. "Okay, Chimchar! Flame Wheel!" Chimchar rolled into a ball of fire and plowed right into Snover. Angered by Chimchar's attack, Snover summoned a gray cloud and it starts hailing. "Snover's Snow Warning kicked it. That means hail will rain down and hurt Chimchar, but I'll have to catch himto end it. Use Power-Up Punch!" Chimchar came at Snover with a Power-Up Punch and lands a hit, building up his attack power. Snover fired a Razor Leaf right at the Chimp Pokémon. "Use Dig to dodge it!" Chimchar dug into the earth to avoid Snover's Razor Leaf. The Frost Tree Pokémon looked around for his opponent when he came out from underneath and lands a hit. Snover blew a Powder Snow right at Chimchar. "Flamethrower!" Chimchar fired Flamethrower right at Snover, pushing back Snover's Powder Snow and lands a hit onto Snover. Sora saw Snover was weakened enough, so he took out a Pokéball and threw it. Snover flowed inside and the Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box goes off and it asks him if he wants to keep Snover with him. He chose to send Snover to Professor Oak's lab. "And I got me a Snover."
"Chimchar!" Chimchar said, cheering and celebrating his success.
"You did great, Chimchar. Good thing your Flamethrower was stronger thanks to Power-Up Punch," Sora said, calling back the Chimp Pokémon inside. They hear rustling int he nearby bushes and they saw a Shieldon.
"Look at that. A Shieldon," Michael said.
"You think it's a wild Shieldon?" Kairi asked.
"Unlikely. Seeing a Shieldon in the wild noways is a rarity," Wes said.
"Yeah. I was lucky that I caught mine along with Cranidos," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Angel said.
"The same can be said for Roxas since he almost the same Pokémon as me," Sora said.
"But where did he come from?" Kairi asked.
"I don't know, but I have to guess Shieldon must roamed this area millions of years ago," Rei said.
Just then, a tree is rammed down as a vehicle in the same design as Hunter J's came driving in. Two of her henchmen came out of the vehicle.
"Crap! Hunter J!" Sora exclaimed.
"The same Pokémon Hunter who robbed Riku before she had her arm slashed off?" Michael asked.
"The same one that Count Ernesh hired," Kairi said.
"And I have a feeling she's after Shieldon," Wes said. He took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Espeon! Go!"
"You're not getting in my way!" One of J's henchmen said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Golbat! Go!" Both Pokéballs opened and out came Espeon and a Golbat. "Use Wing Attack!"
"Espeon! Psychic!" Wes ordered. Golbat got close to Espeon, but uses Psychic on the Bat Pokémon and sends it back.
"Get out of the way," the man said as a bolt of electricity was fired their way. They sent J's henchmen backwards. It turns out to be Gary and his Electivire who did that.
"Shieldon!" Gary called out. Shieldon ran up to Gary and nuzzles him. "Glad you're safe."
"Gary, that was your doing?" Sora asked.
"We can catch up later, Sora. Right now, we have to get Shieldon to safety," Gary said.
"Right," Sora agreed.
"Let's go," Rei said. Gary hands Shieldon to Electivire and took off. J's henchmen growled in anger.
"Dammit!" J's leading henchman cursed. He made contact with J. She has a new robotic arms. "Scouting Party 1. The target has been located by the foot of Mount Coronet."
"As I figured it would be. What happened?" J asked.
"We were attacked by an unknown Trainer with an Electivire, and we were unable to capture Shieldon," J's leading henchman reported. J was angered by his failure.
"Unable to capture?!" J angrily exclaimed.
"Don't worry. We can and will succeed," J's leading henchman said.
"Well, I sure hope so for your sake. After what happened the last time, we cannot afford any other setbacks. And we do not have many clients left since many of them are in prison," J said.
"Sir!" J's leading henchman said.
Back with Sora, Kairi, Arthur, Wes, Rui, Michael, Rei, Pikachu, and Angel, they're running with Gary as they have made their escape from J's henchmen.
"It's been a while, Gary. I take it that you're doing your Pokémon research, huh?" Sora asked.
"That's right. How's the Riolu that hatched from the egg I gave you?" Gary asked.
"Well, I suggest you see for yourself," Sora said, taking out Lucario's Pokéball and opened it. Lucario came out from inside.
"Wow, look at this. Your Riolu is a Lucario now. Judging by how strong your Lucario looks, you did an excellent job taking care of it," Gary said.
"Thanks," Sora said. "A lot of other things went on since we last saw each other."
"How so?" Gary asked.
"Okay, Dawn and Lucas, two Trainers you gave their Pokémon to now have Keyblades of their own, and they're learning under Rei Sakura here. And we have a new enemy to worry about. You heard of someone named Count Ernesh?" Sora asked.
"Count Ernesh? Not that I know of. But I'm sure he's nothing you can't handle; especially after you kicked Organization XIII's butts," Gary said. They hear some rustling ahead of them, so they stopped. "I hear someone coming." It turns out to be Roxas, Xion, Tai, Matt, Sora T, Izzy, Mimi, Joe, TK, Kari, Davis, Yolei, Cody, Ken, Amy, Meiko, Xipak, Celeste, and Little Mei who were coming.
"Sora," Roxas said.
"Kairi," Xion said.
"Guys, we're glad to see you," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said,
"Pika, Pika," Xipak said.
"Hey, isn't that Gary Oak?" Matt asked.
"Who?" Amy asked.
"You don't know, but Gary Oak is Professor Oak's grandson," Izzy explained.
"Is that right?" Amy asked, amazed.
"Wish to say it was on good tidings," Kairi said.
"What do you mean?" Sora T asked.
"You're gonna have to come with us if you wanna find out," Wes said. And they began to walk.
"So, what's up?" TK asked.
"Well, we had a run-in with a couple of Pokémon Hunter J's goons, and we were protecting this Shieldon from them. And that's when Gary showed up and assisted in our escape," Sora said.
"Hunter J? Ooh, I can't stand her!" Yolei hissed.
"I know. She makes Harley look like a boy scout," Davis said. Gary leads the group to three other Shieldon. "Look at that."
"Incredible. Actual Shieldon up close," Izzy said.
"Mount Coronoet is one of the few places in the entire Sinnoh region that live Shieldon can be found," Gary said.
"That's pretty different when I caught mine and Roxas caught his in Oreburgh City," Sora said.
"Judging by how described it, I would say they were probably restored from fossils that were found and then gotten loose in the wold afterwards. I've been hearing that was the case around Oreburgh City," Gary said.
"That's the Gary I remember. You never miss a beat," Sora said. He took out his laptop and he turned it on.
"What do you expect, Sora? I've been working with Professor Rowan on a project in making this whole area a nature preserve to protect the Shieldon. So that makes me a part of it," Gary said. He made contact with Professor Rowan.
"Yes, Gary? What is it?" Professor Rowan asked after he answered.
"Professor Rowan, we have a grave situation on our hands. Pokémon Hunters are in the area," Gary said.
"What? Pokémon Hunters around Mount Coronet?" Professor Rowan asked.
"Yes, and it's not safe for them to be out here, so I suggest we move them all to the nature as soon as possible. It's the only way to keep them safe," Gary said.
"I strongly agree. I'm already on my way to the preserve as we speak, so we can meet you there," Professor Rowan said, sending Gary the coordinates.
"Coordinates received," Gary said.
"You think we lend a hand, Gary?" Sora asked.
"Like I was going to say no. Helping out is what you're good at. Always have been," Gary said. Just then, J's henchmen came in, driving in.
"Them again!" Arthur exclaimed.
"I'll handle this! You take the Shieldon and run!" Rei said.
"Yes, Master," Sora said.
"Electrivire, protect the Shieldon!" Gary said, picking up the Shieldon in its arms before they take off. Wes took out a smoke bomb and threw it to keep them from finding them.
Rei took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Kingdra! Go!" Rei called out. Her Pokéball opened and her Kingdra emerged from inside. "Use Hydro Pump!" Kingdra fired a Hydro Pump at the vehicle. She called back Kingdra and took out another Pokéball and threw it. "Ampharos! Go!" Her Pokéball opened and Ampharos emerged from inside. "Use Thunder!" Ampharos fired Thunder, hitting it. It shuts down.
"I have had it with you, lady," J's leading henchman said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Golbat! Air Slash!" His Golbat came out and fired an Air Slash.
"Dodge it and use Power Gem!" Rei ordered. Ampharos dodges Golbat's Air Slash and fired a Power Gem, hitting the Bat Pokémon on the spot. "Thunder again, but aim it for the ground this time!" Ampharos unleashed another Thunder, creating a dust cloud. J's henchmen covered their eyes as Rei called back her Ampharos and took off.
Meanwhile, Sora, Kairi, Roxas, Xion, Arthur, Wes, Rui, Michael, the DigiDestined, Gary, and the Pokémon ran off.
"You think we're far enough?" Mimi asked.
"We gotta be! If we weren't, then they'd be catching up with us by now," Ken said.
"I think we have a much better chance at battling them than just running away!" Davis said.
"It's too risky, Davis! Our first priority is keeping the Shieldon safe! We can't risk an unnecessary battle!" Gary said.
"Gary's right! The Shieldon might be caught in the crossfire if we do any of that!" Sora said.
"Well, it isn't just J and her goons that I'm concerned about! What if Heartless, Nobodies, or Unversed show up?" Rui asked.
"We'll deal with them if they get in the way! Right now, keep running!" Sora said.
Meanwhile, Lea was in the area as he fought some Heartless in the area. He slashed through a Silver Dragon with his Eternal Flames.
"Man, those Heartless are so annoying. Just gotta keep dealing with any that hits my radar," Lea said. He noticed J's aircraft. "It seems the Heartless aren't the only things that's gotten my attention."
Meanwhile, J is making contact with her client which is a man with a bearded face, but his true identity is covered by shadows.
"Good, good. I'm glad you're going well, Pokémon Hunter J. And it pleases me to know you have successfully escaped custody. Now, about a certain Shieldon that I commissioned you to get for me," the man said.
"Don't you worry. You'll have your first Shieldon by the end of the day today; just like we agreed," J said.
"Excellent news, Hunter J! The idea that I'll be the owner of such a rare Pokémon pleases me greatly. So, it would be possible if I come and collect it directly from you?" The man asked.
"Do as you like," J said
"Then, I'll be on my way there immediately," the man said, breaking contact.
"He sure gets around, doesn't he?" J asked herself.
"Scouting report ready, sir! Target is currently coordinating to 905, sir! We also have a number of objects on the move!" One of J's henchmen reported.
"Surround coordinates 903 through 906!" J ordered.
"Sir!" J's henchman acknowlegded.
"That target will be ours," J said, placing her shades on. She rolls in to capture the Shieldon at any costs. Lea sees the vehicle taking off.
"Wonder what's going on here. Might as well have a look for myself," Lea said as he approached the aircraft.
Meanwhile, several of J's henchmen are looking for the Shieldon, making the group hide from plain sight.
"Well, this just got a whole lot harder than I thought," Sora said.
"Up to this point, I'd rather fight Team Shadow again than have to deal with those goons," Wes said.
"So would I," Michael said.
"All possible escape routes have been cut off. And if we make one careless move, they'll find us and the Shieldon. The poor things will be at risk," Kari said.
"We just need to find an alternate route," Cody said.
"Yeah, but where do we even start looking?" Meiko asked.
"I don't know, but we better find a way fast," Xion said.
"Eevee," Celeste said.
"I think I got one," TK said. They all look at TK.
"What do you got, TK?" Joe asked.
"We could tie ourselves and the Shieldon with the rope and scale a cliffside, hopefully right under their noses. It might be our only way," TK said.
"I'm going with TK's idea. We have to make it count," Gary said.
With that said, they scale the cliffside with the river just beneath them.
"Nobody look down and we'll be fine," Tai said.
"Easier said than done, Tai," Amy said.
"Just saying it makes me wanna to look down," Mimi said.
"Don't think about that, Mimi. Just keep your eyes on me, okay?" Matt asked. Mimi blushed.
"Matt," Mimi said while she blushed. She had to stay brave for Matt. "You're right, Matt. I can do this."
"Stay close, Shieldon," Kairi said. The Shieldon nodded. One of the Shieldon looked over the edge and then loses its footing an fell. It dragged the other three with it. Sora and Gary gasped as they pulled the rope.
"Pull, Sora! Pull!" Gary said. They pulled hard right until all four Shieldon were pulled up, safe and sound.
"That was close," Sora T said.
"My heart almost jumped in my throat there," Yolei said.
"At least they're safe now," Kari said.
"Well, if we wanna keep them that way, we better keep moving," Matt said.
"He's right. Let's move," Gary said.
Meanwhile, Lea managed to waltz inside the halls of Hunter J's fortress.
"This brings back memories. Makes me think of the times that me and Isa used to sneak in the castle in Radiant Garden in while Ansem the Wise was running things. But I can't feel that there's something gut-wretching about this place," Lea said as he moved. A security camera spots him.
"Alright, don't move! What are you doing here?" One of J's henchmen asked through the microphone.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I was just having a leisurely stroll and I ended up taking a wrong turn! Think you can kindly direct me to the nearest exit, I'd ever be so grateful," Lea jokingly said as the walls around him surrounds him. "Is this how you treat your guests? If so, then I'd hate to see how you treat your enemies."
"Commander J will be one who will be the one who decides your fate! So quiet or else!" J's henchman said.
"Okay, else!" Lea said, summoning his Eternal Flames and he slashed through the camera.
Over to the cockpit, he exclaimed in shock.
"What the hell?! What was that?!" J's henchman exclaimed. Lea managed to cut his way through the wall.
"Was that supposed to stop me? I'm insulted," Lea said. Just then, some of J's other henchmen approached him.
"Where do you think you're going?" One of J's henchmen asked.
"I'll be finding my own way out of here. The hospitality here sucks," Lea said.
"You're not going anywhere!" Another one of J's henchmen said as they attempt to capture him. Lea gave them quite a beating. Lea was obviously a much better fighter than they were. Lea pats his hands as he keeps walking.
"And for the record, you guys make a sorry welcome committee," Lea said.
Meanwhile, Hunter J is riding on her Salamence as she finds her two henchmen waiting for her. She gets off Salamence's back.
"Report," J said.
"No sign of them. Yet," J's leading henchman reported.
"Could they have been spying on us?" J asked herself.
"Commander J," J's chief communicator said.
"Report," J said.
"We've confirmed the vehicle moving from Mount Coronet. It's moving from coordinates 793-94," J's chief communicator reported, displaying the map in her shades.
"I see. It's a rendezvous with some friends," J said.
Meanwhile, Rocky Beams is in the area, picking up on J's transmission. It turns out, Rocky has been keeping tabs on J's crew ever since J's arrest, and he even looked into J's escape from prison. He never believed in coincidences. He figured her escape could have been someone or something with the ability to teleport without being detected, and he's been keeping a much closer eye on J's activities since then.
"Elliot, you getting all of this?" Rocky asked.
"Every word of it, Rock. J's current customer managed to slip through the cracks, and he's already making his way to pick up his prize just like you figured he would," Elliot said from his end. "Even with J free, she's still has no clue that she's still being monitored by us so we can have the drop of the few clients she has left."
"And I have set up another surprise for J's paying customer. Professor Rowan has made contact with Officer Jenny, and I have a feeling he'll be having some engine troubles," Rocky said.
Meanwhile, Officer Jenny is driving along with Professor Rowan.
"Gary, I have made contact with Officer Jenny. We should be heading there very soon. In the meantime, you be careful," Professor Rowan said.
Over to the group, they made it over to the canyon.
"You be careful, too, professor," Gary said.
"Now, let's get going," Kairi said.
"Agreed," Gary said. Just then, J's Salamence hovers by.
"Salamence?" Gary asked.
"Oh no," Sora said. Salamence lands, revealing J herself. "Pokémon Hunter J. And she's got a new arm."
"So you're the big boss," Gary said. J recognized Sora and scowled at him.
"You! You were one of the reasons I got arrested!" J snarled.
"And proud of it," Sora said.
"As much as I would like nothing more than to have my revenge, but first thing's first. Hand over those Shieldon," J said.
"Make us," Sora said. He took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Lucario, let's go!" His Pokéball opened and Lucario came out.
"Let's make a break for it while we can," Kairi said.
"Let's go before she notices," Roxas said.
And they take off, getting the Shieldon to safety.
"Lucario! Aura Sphere!" Sora ordered. Lucario sends out an Aura Sphere and it hits J.
"Why you!" J hissed, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Drapion! Cross Poison!" Her Pokéball opened and her Drapion came out. The Ogre Scorpion Pokémon came at Lucario with a Cross Poison, but it does nothing to him. "What?! Cross Poison has no effect?!"
"You should have known by now Poison-type attacks has zero affect on Steel-types like Lucario," Sora said. J clicked her lips in irritation.
"Should have remembered," J said. Gary decided to join in. He took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Blastoise! I choose you!" Gary called out. His Pokéball opened and Blastoise came out to assist Sora. "Hydro Cannon!" Blastoise fired Hydro Cannon right at Hunter J's Pokémon.
"Hyper Beam!" J ordered. Salamence fired Hyper Beam, colliding with Blastoise's Hydro Cannon. The group climbed up to a ledge, making their escape when one of the Shieldon lost its footing again and fell.
"No!" Kairi gasped.
The Shieldon fell to the ground, grabbing J's attention. Seeing the Shield Pokémon, she aimed her arm, forming into a cannon. She fired the same kind of laser right at the fallen Shieldon, much to everyone's horror.
"That witch!" Xion hissed.
"Let's go! We gotta keep the other three safe!" Matt said.
With that said, they climbed up on the ledge, getting away.
"No!" Sora exclaimed.
"Yes. The mission is completed," J said. She placed the frozen Shieldon in a vehicle after it has arrived. She called her Drapion back and got on her Salamence. Sora, Gary, and Pikachu took it as an opportunity to hitch a ride, so they get under the vehicle before it took off.
Up on the ledge, Rei has arrived to the scene.
"Thank goodness, you're okay," Rei said.
"Glad to see you, Master," Kairi said. She noticed one of the Shieldon was missing as well as Sora and Gary.
"What happened?" Rei asked.
Before Kairi could answer, Professor Rowan and Officer Jenny arrived as well.
"Professor Rowan," Kairi said.
"Kairi, it's a good thing you're here. What happened?" Professor Rowan asked.
"Hunter J has taken one of the Shieldon. Sora and Gary might have gone after her," Kairi said.
"I thought as much. I know Sora won't do something reckless," Rei said.
"We must get to Hunter J at once," Officer Jenny said.
"You're right. She must be going for her client as we speak," Izzy said.
Over to Sora, Gary, and Pikachu, they hide right under the vehicle as it rides off.
"I can't believe everything this happened. It's all my fault," Gary said.
"What do you mean your fault, Gary?" Sora asked.
"I underestimated the Shieldon's strength, and I should have known better than that. Your friend Davis was right, and I was wrong," Gary said.
"Hey, don't beat yourself up over it. I only went along with it because it was your show," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"I appreciate the pep talk, Sora, but it was my mistake, and we're paying for my goof-up," Gary said.
"Well, J and her goons will be the ones to pay for it when we get that Shieldon back and foil her plans," Sora said.
"You're right, Sora. You never did know when to quit, and I don't see any reason why I should do that, too," Gary said.
"And that's the Gary Oak I know," Sora said.
A few minutes later, the vehicle arrived to J's ship as she waits for her client to come.
"Sir, the client will be here soon," J's leading henchman said.
"Being Shieldon out. We'll wait here," J said.
"Yes, sir," J's leading henchman said, bringing out the frozen Shieldon for her customer to pick it up. Sora took out a Pokéball and opened it. Staravia came out.
"Go and find Kairi and the others. Lead them here," Sora instructed. Staravia nodded. The Starling Pokémon looked around, making sure no one could see him, so he flew on to accomplish his task. A helicopter arrived above them.
"They're here," J said. An explosion occurred from inside. "What is going on in there?!"
"We're trying to contain an intruder!" J's henchman said.
"An intruder?" J asked.
The walls busts open as Lea made it outside.
"Glad to be out of there," Lea said.
"Get him!" J ordered.
"Sir!" J's henchmen acknowleged.
"Don't you mean ma'am? Ah, who cares?" Lea asked as he fought and overpowered them. Unsure of what happened, Sora has let out Lucaio as Gary has let out Blastoise, Electivire, and Umbreon. They took advantage of the situation by attacking. Sora went for Shieldon as J's henchmen tried to stop him from undoing their hard work, but Lucario and Electivire tackled into them. J hissed.
Up in the helicopter, the engine began to lose control.
"Uh-oh," the pilot said.
"What is the matter?" The man asked.
"The engines are not responding! We're going down," the pilot said.
"No!" The man said as the helicopter heads down to the trees below them as Offier Jenny arrived and lassoed him and the pilot.
"You men are under arrest!" Officer Jenny said. Staravia leads the rest of the group to J's ship.
"Sora!" Kairi called out.
"Good of you to join the party," Sora said. J growled.
"Annoying little pests," J hissed. Sora turns the dial down.
"Run for it, Shieldon!" Sora said.
"I should have dealt with you back at the canyon. A misstep I will correct now," J said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Ariados! Go!" Her Pokéball opened and her Ariados emerged from inside. "String Shot!"
"Staravia! Acrobatics!" Sora ordered. Staravia flew at Ariados and lands a hit with Acrobatics, taking Ariados down with one hit. She took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Draopion! Cross Poison!" J ordered. Drapion emerged from inside and came at them with Cross Poison.
"Lucario! Bullet Punch!" Sora ordered. Lucario rushes at Drapion and lands a hit on Drapion with a Bullet Punch
"Pin Missile!" J ordered. Drapion fired Pin Missile right at Lucario.
"Double Team!" Sora ordered. Lucario does a Double Team, making Drapion hit the fakes. "Aura Sphere!" Lucario forms an Aura Sphere and sends it right at Drapion, resulting in a knockout. J called back her Drapion.
"Salamence! Hyper Beam!" J ordered. Salamence fired a Hyper Beam right at Sora. But he jumped out of the path of Hyper Beam.
"Pikachu! Thunderbolt! Full power!" Sora ordered. Pikachu fired a full powered Thunderbolt, shocking the Dragon Pokémon. "Volt Tackle!" Pikachu charges right at Salamence, landing a hit onto Salamence, knocking it out.
"Impossible! A brat defeated me?!" J growled. She aimed her arm at Pikachu, intending on taking him, but Lea's Eternal Flames struck the arm, cutting it off. "A second time?!" Sora recognized the designs of the chakrams. Lea approached the Pokémon Hunter and grinned. Sora was shocked to see him. Everyone were surprised to see him, especially Roxas and Xion.
"Axel?" Roxas asked.
"Okay, that wasn't exactly a sporting thing to do, lady," Lea said.
"I don't know who you think you are, but you messed with the wrong person to mess with," J said.
"I think you have that backwards. You keep your hands off my friends. Got it memorized?" Lea asked.
"I'll memorize your faces," J said.
"Sir, the client has been arrested," J's henchman said.
"What?! How can this be?!" J exclaimed in anger. She was having a bad day. She turned to Sora. "If you ever get in my way again, I'll crush you, just like I'll crush everyone who gets in my way." She and her henchmen have boarded her ship and takes off. Officer Jenny and Professor Rowan arrived on the scene.
"She got away again," Officer Jenny said.
"Yeah, but Shieldon's safe," Gary said. He looked right at Lea. "Thanks to this guy's help."
"I don't believe it. Is it really you?" Roxas asked as he approached him.
"Believe it, buddy. It's the real deal," Lea said.
"Axel," Roxas said as he began to happily cry. He grabbed Axel, hugging him. The DigiDestined were happy to see Roxas and Axel's original self together again. "It is you, Axel. You're not a dream, are you?!"
"No, I'm not a dream! Get a grip!" Lea said.
"I thought you were lost forever!" Roxas said.
"How are you even here, Axel? The last time we saw you, we watched you fade away into nothing," Kairi said.
"Yeah, you did. But I'm back. Oh, and it's not Axel anymore. It's Lea. Get it memorized," Lea said.
"What exactly happened to you? And where are the markings under your eyes? They're not there anymore," Roxas asked.
"I don't need them anymore, because I don't have a reason to cry at all," Lea said.
"What markings?" Gary asked.
"Under his eyes, there were markings of upside down tears. But they're gone," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
Rei was speechless in seeing Axel with her own eyes again.
"Axel," Rei said.
"No, it's not Axel, it's Lea. Axel was my-" Lea was cut off when Rei gave him a punch in the face.
"YOU IDIOT! HERE I AM, SPENDING ALL THIS TIME, THINKING YOU WERE DEAD, AND NOW I FIND OUT YOU'RE ALIVE! I DON'T KNOW IF I SHOULD JUST..." Rei yelled as tears streams from her eyes.
"Hey, take it easy. Don't you wanna hear how I'm here or not?" Lea asked.
"Yeah, we were about to get to that again. How are you here?" Sora asked.
"Well, okay. It turns out that I have recompleted," Lea said.
"Recompleted?" Kairi asked.
"Yeah. When you brought down Organization XIII, a lot of us have been recompleted again, therefore, we're human again," Lea explained.
"Recompleted where?" Wes asked.
"In Radiant Garden. It was where it happened in the first place, according to Ienzo, or I should say Zexion. Ansem the Wise's other apprentices went through the same thing and I decided to come here, so I used the dark corridors to come to this world, and I ended up in Sinnoh," Lea said.
"You used the darkness to get here? That was reckless of you!" Rei said.
"I know, I know, but it was the only way for me to get here, but I don't think I can use those anymore since I'm no longer under Xehanort's control, which there is no sign of," Lea said.
"So, Xehanort's dead," Sora said. Rei wasn't so sure. She could have corrected him, but she couldn't, knowing better.
"You could say that," Lea said.
"But I'm glad you're here, Axel. We can be together again. Is that going to be okay?" Roxas asked. Lea didn't correct Roxas and he smiled, knowing it was going to be like the good old days again.
"Yes. It is," Lea said, smiling.
"Well, then you're going to need these," Rei said, taking out Lea's Pokéballs. He takes them. He opened them and out came Magmar, Growlithe, and Flareon. The three Fire-types looked at him, shocked but happy.
"Hey, guys. It's me," Lea said. They all dog-piled him, happy to see Lea was alive.
Meanwhile, J is sitting in her command chair as they elude capture.
"Sir, where do you recommend we go? Our base has been compromised and our options are severely limited," J's henchman said.
"I don't care. Just as long as we can get as far away as possible. We must find new clients and soon," J said.
"Sir!" J's henchman said.
"I'll have my revenge on that kid with the Pikahu. The same for that silver-haired brat who cut off my arm. I'll make them both suffer for this," J said in her thoughts.
Meanwhile, Lea is given an orange Rotom Phone by Gary.
"Here you go. You have a Pokédex app on your new Rotom Phone, and here's a Pokémon Box for you to have," Gary said, handing Lea a Pokémon Box as well.
"Thanks. I'll make very good use of them," Lea said.
"Well, now we should get going. Hearthome City isn't going to take itself there," Sora said.
"Yeah, but I thinik Axel, Xion, and I should spend some time together first. Just to catch up," Roxas said.
"Sure," Sora said.
Not only was a Shieldon was saved from the clutches of the evil Pokémon Hunter, but Lea, formerly known as Axel form Organization XIII, reunited with Roxas and Xion after fading away and being recompleted. Now, the race for Hearthome City continues to see whom shall battle Fantaina. More to come very soon.
