Chapter 4: reaction, announcements, and the mysterious letter

After we were in the great Hall, I noticed that everyone's reaction seems to be not much different from my first year the only thing that seemed to stand out to me is that Ron looked so jealous he was going to murder someone and Dumbledore looks like something was not going his way, they seemed like they might be a problem in the future.

and other than that, everyone looked like they want to be my best friend, but I'm guessing that's the allure and the boys looked like they wanted something more most of them anyway Ron looks too busy planning my death.

we chatted a bit while the students were being sorted I didn't say much since I was rather tired.

anyways, Dumbledore said his normal announcements and that Moody will be the new defense against the dark arts teacher. But the last thing he said was what caught everyone's attention.

"there will also be a school governor that is coming here to inspect the castle because of the fact that black was able to get in and out of the castle"

as Dumbledore says that I winced even though Voldemort died second year when his only Horcruxe diary was destroyed. Things still happens that managed to complicate his life.

as I'm thinking, I remember that I need to write a letter to the Delacour family because they are the royal family of the fae and I need to let them know about my inheritance so they can add me to who they know of that are Fae.

"hey harry" asked Ginny "yes Ginny" "is it just me or is your hair getting lighter like turning blonde because it was way darker in third year and now that I think about it, it was also lighter on the train it looks like a strawberry blonde it looks more red than blonde though" just said she said that the food for the welcome feast appeared and an owl flew into the great hall heading straight from me

when I got there, I see it's another letter from my mom. I took the letter from the owl. I wonder why it didn't come to me on my birthday with the other one and what it could possibly be this time. I hope she's not dropping another surprise bomb on me...
