Adrien, Scarlet, and the other members of the deer herd were walking in the forest on their way deeper into the forest to safety from the hunters, and their dogs, as Julius had done a check-up in the forest today, and had seen the hunters walking in the forest with their dogs.
Adrien, and Scarlet stopped with the other deer to eat grass.
"My father estimates that the hunters are going to linger in the forest for a while, and he advises me to be careful now that I am the new Great Prince of the Forest," Adrien told Scarlet, after they had eaten enough.
"How long does your father think the hunters will be in the forest?" Scarlet asked.
"He hasn't told you yet," Adrien said.
"You failed to save my father, and you trust your father's judgment? There's a new The Great Prince of the Forest in that too," Champ said, standing on top of a hill.
"Your father caused that situation himself, when your father told you to lure the hunters to the meadow just so your father could get revenge on Julius for, how your father got the scar from Julius. So it wasn't Adrien's fault," Scarlet said.
"Well, Champ. Why don't you just let it be?" The green-eyed, brown-furred female-deer said, walking over.
"Okay, Acasia," Champ said, walking Acasia to the side.
"Who is that deer?" Adrien asked Scarlet.
"A friend of mine, Acasia, Champ's partner, who Champ recently encountered. If I'm right, then Champ and Acasia's fawn may be the same as Champ at some point. It's going to be a pity for Acasia, because she's the only one who has to keep their fawn out of harm's way. Don't let Champ annoy you. She's only teasing you, because you're now The Great Prince of the Forest," Scarlet said.
"You're really smart, Scarlet. When we get a fawn, our happiness will be complete," Adrien said, pressing his neck against Scarlet's neck, smiling happily, and at the same time looking at the moon and stars in the sky.
"Thank you, Adrien," Scarlet smiled happily.
Adrien was happy about the love he received from Scarlet, but at the same time he was sad that, Adrien's mother would not see her future grandchild.
