*It was a hot, sunny day in Amity Park, which means that Danny, Tucker, Sam, and Carrie had decided to spend their days dazzling around global warming at the water park. However, somewhere around the entrance of the area, there hangs a sign that reads: "WELCOME FLOODY WATERS!" and underneath it, a shadow leans on the wall and resembles a silhouette of Johnny 13.
And through that wall, a scary face appears and morphs into Shadow. The shadow creeps down through the floor. Next, on another sign, it says TERROR MOUNTAIN where a water slide is attached to the handbuilt mountain. Soon, a teen slides down rapidly and splashes into the pool, which has another sign that reads: "TERROR MOUNTAIN - AVERAGE WAIT - 45 MINUTES - FROM THIS POINT."
Standing in line for the ride are Tucker, Danny, and Sam in their swimming outfits. Tucker is wearing only swim trunks and pink floaties while Danny is wearing a white tank top and blue shorts. Sam is wearing a small black hat attached to a veil, black sunglasses, and her black cape covering her body, leaving Carrie to wear a black one-piece while having a towel wrapped around her waist and her hair left down.*
Tucker: Man, I love the water. Girls, bathing suits, and the occasional opportunity to administer mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
*As the Foley boy lists this, he sprays breath freshener in his mouth, which makes Carrie roll her eyes at this point.*
Danny: Geez, it's hot… *Side eyes Sam* Aren't you sweating, Sam?
Sam: Regular people sweat. Goths, we simmer.
Carrie: *Raises an eyebrow* Simmer?
Danny: *Sniffs the air around Sam* I think you're overcooked.
*After hearing inputs from her two friends, Sam raises her arm to reveal a purple bathing suit hiding underneath the cape.*
Sam: *Sniffs her armpit* Wooh! I reek.
*However, to ease up her own personal hygiene, Tucker sprays breath freshener on Sam's armpit, causing the goth girl to scowl at his sudden interference.*
Carrie: *Snickers* Well, that's a kind gesture of you, Tuck.
Sam: Yet another reason to get out of the sun…
Carrie: *Waves* Have fun in the shades, Manson.
*Once this is informed, Sam covers herself with her cape as if she were Dracula and dashes away just for two shadows loom over Danny and Tucker. And those two figures, owning the shadows happen to be Dash Baxter and Kwan themselves, wearing nothing but red underwear as their swimming suits while holding water-filled squirt guns in their hands.*
Carrie: *Shudders a bit and closes her eyes* Uh, ever thought of wearing something other than only your underwear out in public, Dash?
Dash: *Glares at Carrie* I oughta tell you the same thing, but with a body like that, it's smart for you to wear that towel, dorkette.
Tucker: *Points a stern finger at them* Hey, she's only helping the people of society from witnessing public nudity that comes across their very innocent eyes.
Danny: Yeah, and not that you'd care, but that towel was actually mine, and since Carrie forgot hers and had just gotten out of the water to use it.
Dash: *Glares at Danny* Whatever, Fentonion. Watch our place in line, will ya?
Danny: How can I? I'm in front of you.
Dash: Not anymore!
*Suddenly, the blonde-haired jock uses his squirter gun and sprays water at Tucker and Danny, which knocks him into a fountain. On top of that fountain, there is a statue of Cupid holding a bow and heart arrow and spitting water, and that water is falling right onto Danny who sits up in the fountain alongside Tucker.*
Danny: Well… this is humiliating.
Tucker: But oddly refreshing.
Carrie: And really brave… *Tugs on her damped hair* Uh, thanks for standing up for me, you guys.
Danny: No problem, Care, what else are friends for?
Tucker: Yeah, and like you always say, 'Nobody messes with my friends except me' and that's a part of true friendship.
*Finding touching this moment, unfortunately, it came to an end as the pair's ghost senses suddenly sent off.*
Danny: Well, this isn't. We've got company, Tuck.
*Shadow moves from the ground, emerges from the shadow, and flies up to the people. People screamed and ran into the water park.*
Danny: It's Johnny 13's Shadow. I've got to find a place to go ghost. *Runs off*
Carrie: Well, start looking, Fenton! *Also runs off*
*As the two halfas run off to transform, they leave Tucker still seated in the water fountain.*
Tucker: You guys do that. And I'll stay here in case any of these girls need mouth-to-mouth.
*Tucker sprays breath freshener in his mouth twice just as Danny (with Carrie following behind) runs to an open room. However, what the Fenton boy didn't realize before barging in or hearing his partner consult him was that he had run straight into the Women's Restroom.*
Carrie: *Looking directly ahead at the two figures who were checking themselves in the mirror* Uhh, Danny?
Danny: *Faces her* What?
*Without saying another word, Carrie points a finger at two popular girls who are also standing in the restroom. Paulina Sanchez and Star. Soon, their differently-colored orbs are met with a male standing in the Women's Restroom and letting out a shout before rushing over and pushing Danny out of it.*
Star: Hello! *Points to a lady's picture on the door* Ladies room.
Paulina: *To Carrie* You're lucky we have at least one thing in common, sweetie. *To Danny* But you, I'd tell you to go to the men's room, but I don't think you qualify.
*The two girls high-five each other, leaving both Danny and Carrie to send them a scowl before making their way in separate directions. However, just before Carrie rushed into an open bathroom stall, the blue-haired girl caught herself in a distracting manner as she looked at herself in the mirror whereas Dash's words began to reflect, causing her to sigh, and gain Paulina and Star's attention once more.*
Paulina: *Scoffs* Don't bother trying to get rid of that emotion, honey. It'll never happen in your case.
*After receiving that terrible advice, Carrie growled angrily and felt her eyes slowly start to flicker blue as she stormed out of the restroom. Once Carrie is outside, she rushes behind a trash bin, transforms, and then flies out of it, owning one fist in the air with her legs fusing into a tail.
Meanwhile, in Danny's point of view, he runs behind a board that has a map of the water park. Soon, he flies through the air with one fist extended and his tail in the back as a crowd of people continues running away while screaming before Danny meets with Shadow first.*
Danny: Hey, tall, dark, and formless!
*At the sound of his nemesis' voice, Shadow turns and he's met with the male halfa.*
Danny: Remember me?
*Just as Danny dives, he is met with Shadow's hand punching him in the stomach, causing the Phantom figure to yell in pain. Next, the black wisp grasps Danny's head right and slams him back-first into the wall, upside down. Cracks appear in the bricks, and Danny grunts with effort, his arms out, as the fist of Shadow punches him and the wall.
The fist of the black wisp squishes Danny straight through the wall, making an even bigger hole. Next, Danny falls head-first into it, bracing himself for impact as a gaping hole is made and chunks of debris fall out. Soon, Shadow hits Danny on the pipeline with his head on the pipe, causing the pipeline to shatter and the steam is released. Finally, having enough of this, Shadow lifts the male halfa up and roars loudly at him.*
Danny: I'll take that as a yes…
*Just then, Carrie is thankfully heard as the female halfa finally makes it toward the battle.*
Carrie: Hey, Unlucky! *Points a stern finger* Get your shadowy claws off my best friend!
*Letting out a yell, Carrie has her leg heading straight down to kick Shadow away until the black wisp easily grabs her ankle, causing the blue-eyed teen to become confused by letting out a "Huh?" before Shadow holds her upside down, then sends a loud roar in her face next.*
Carrie: *Glares* OK, now get those shadowy claws off me, pal!
*Shadow decides it's better to hold his other nemesis capture in his other hand and soon, he flies down towards a black aluminum, spaced, picket fence with the two teens gripped together in both hands as he is most likely planning on impaling the duo into it until Danny gets an idea.*
Danny: *To Shadow* Come on, slick. Let's see how well you mix with water.
*And just before he and Carrie could possibly be met with the black fence, Danny flies them all down, practically guiding Shadow into the pool that's connected to MOUNTAIN TERROR and flies out of it alongside Carrie whose eyes caught sight of a sign that reads: "DRAIN VALVE" and a lever.*
Carrie: And to make sure he doesn't plan on swimming to shore…
*By using her foot, with one flick of the switch, the water that filled the entire pool begins to drain away down into a small vent that leads to Amity Park's sewers, taking Shadow with it.*
Danny: Enjoy your trip through the sewers! Oh, and if you see Monday's meatloaf, say hi for me.
Carrie: And don't forget to say hi to Nemo, Gill, and the electric gang of fish for me as well, dude!
*After exchanging their farewells to the black wisp, the duo share a small laugh.*
Carrie: Alright, well, I'm gonna go find Sam, *Becomes intangible* but we'll meet you and Tucker over at the concession stand to grab a bite to eat.
Danny: You got a deal, Care.
*They then share a high-five in their line of succession before heading in different directions to change back into their human selves. However, seeing as he was in the empty pool that was once filled, Danny changed back, but not before he didn't even notice that Paulina Sanchez had caught him doing so.*
Paulina: *Approaches him with a wide, slightly shocked smile* Danny! You're the ghost boy?
Reporter: Amity Park was rocked today by another random attack from the two pasty-faced ghost lads known as Inviso-Bill and Vanish-a.
*As the newswoman was currently reporting this, the two halfas were running in the background of her camera, seeing as they had noticed Sam and Tucker were right by the news van. But after hearing this false story, Carrie becomes offended by not just the woman spreading misinformation on who attacked the water park, but the ridiculous superhero nicknames.*
Carrie: Hey!
*Danny grabs hold of his partner's arm and quickly pulls her out of the way before the news reporter can get a glimpse of the blue-haired teen's figure and possible exposure due to the fact that he, himself, had been exposed to his long-time crush - Paulina Sanchez.*
Danny: Guys we've got a problem.
Sam: I'll say, Inviso-Bill and Vanish-a?
Tucker: Yeah, you two need some publicists. *Notices Star walking behind him and gestures to her* And you need mouth-to-mouth.
Star: Dream on, loser.
Carrie: At least mine comes off as an actual name! But still, that's not my superhero name, because it's currently being decided… *Glances up at the sky and mutters* Give me a sign, universe!
Danny: Care, this is serious, because it's worse than that. Paulina saw. She knows I'm half ghost. I finally get to see her in a bathing suit and I can't even enjoy it!
Carrie: *Crosses her arms* Out of all the people you'd expose yourself to, it had to be Paulina. When she and Star kicked you out of the bathroom, the girl really didn't feel the need to mouth her mouth!
Sam: What did she say?
Carrie: Oh, you know, things only a shallow, prissy girl like herself wouldn't care to even sugarcoat it. *Clenches her fists* She's the rudest, self-absorbed, little-
*Just when Carrie could continue expressing how she felt towards Paulina, the voice of the Sanchez girl is suddenly heard as the four look to find her rushing down towards them.*
Paulina: Danny! Carrie! *To Sam and Tucker* Whatever your names are… Hi!
Carrie: *Rushes to stand in front of Danny protectively* Listen, Sanchez. I don't know what you think you saw, so, let me make this clear, if you say or do anything to hurt Danny, I will-
Paulina: *Looks at Carrie softly* Don't get your adorable, little braids in a bundle, cutie. *To Danny* Danny. Why'd you run? I know it freaked you out that I discovered your secret but, I won't tell.
Danny: R-really?
Tucker: Aw, come on. *Points a finger at her* How can we trust you?
Sam: Yeah, I mean, all you've ever done was make our lives - specifically Carrie's - miserable. And you seriously expect us to trust you?
Paulina: You can trust me because it's my secret now, too. *Goes up to Danny* Which makes it… *Pokes his nose* our secret.
Carrie: *Walks away, muttering* Kill me with a rock…
Sam: Oh, great… *Walks away, following Carrie* Excuse me while I escort Carrie to find a nice dark place to throw up.
Danny: So, you think it's cool that I've got these powers?
Paulina: Cool? No… *Smirks* I think it's hot… *Walks away* Seeya.
Danny: *Shocked* I'm hot? *Smiles* I'm hot? *Yells* I'M HOTT!
*After exclaiming this loudly, the Fenton teen wasn't expected to be shot by Dash Baxter's water gun as the jock thought otherwise by what his victim met.*
Dash: That'll cool ya off. By the way, this isn't water. If you catch my drift.
*The next day at Casper High, Danny is strolling down the hallway with his three friends as he has his shirt pulled over half of his face while gripping onto Carrie's shoulders, practically using her as a human shield for his identity.*
Danny: Is anybody looking at me funny?
Tucker: Yeah, but that's because you look like you're trying to eat your way out of your shirt. Lighten up.
Danny: How can I lighten up? Paulina knows I'm half ghost! I mean, she says she's gonna keep the secret but how can I trust her? She's a girl! Girls can't keep secrets.
*Once this is stated, Carrie clears her throat as she and Sam stand against the lockers, looking at Danny in advance that he would take back what he had said. Especially when the blue-haired girl is part of his other world when it comes to ghosts.*
Danny: Uh, except for you two. You're both… different.
Carrie: And by different for me personally, I hope you mean that it's because I'm also half ghost, Fenton.
Danny: *Rubs the back of his neck nervously* Yeah, that too, Care…
Sam: Well, the good news is Paulina's kinda dim. As long as nothing else weird happens, maybe she'll forget all about it.
*Once that's reassured, both Danny and Carrie's ghost senses are set off, and just as Tucker goes over to the drinking fountain for a little drink, Shadow suddenly pops out of the pipe, causing the techno-geek to fall to the ground in fright.*
Sam: So that's where the town sewage goes. *Smiles* I knew it.
*As Shadow flies down the hall, scaring many of the students they are met with their very eyes, Danny's blue eyes glow bright green and finds himself about to run into one of the lockers until he notices Carrie isn't moving.*
Danny: You coming, Care?
Carrie: And risk my identity being exposed to Paulina? Sorry, dude, looks like I'm sitting this one out.
*Without saying another word, Danny instead rushes into a janitor's closet, transforms into Phantom, and phases out of the door, catching up with Shadow as he flies above him.*
Danny: You're making it really hard for me to keep a low profile.
*Shadow then splits in half and the two wisps slam against Danny, which makes the halfa go bounce off the walls and land upside down against the door of the science lab. As Shadow rushes towards his nemesis, Danny becomes intangible and phases through the door.
Searching through the tables, Danny finds an item that is extremely helpful in this battle, and up through the ceiling with Shadow following right behind him. When the black wisp is looking around for Danny, the halfa teen floats in front of the ghost while holding a magnifying glass behind his back.*
Danny: Looking for me?
*With only the use of his finger, Danny holds the magnifying glass out and points an ecto-beam, which shoots a large beam from the other side, causing Shadow to scream in agony before dissipating into thin air. Once that's done and over with, Danny pulls the green smoke coming from his finger and flies back to school, and into a locker where Sam, Tucker, and Carrie await. After reverting back to his human self, Paulina Sanchez's voice was heard.*
Paulina: *Walks up to him* Good job, Danny.
Danny: W-where did you come from?
*Before the Latina could answer him, Mr. Lancer appeared near him and Paulina.*
Mr. Lancer: *Sternly* Mr. Fenton. There you are. *Holds up 6 eraser bars in one hand* You were due to smack the erasers 5 minutes ago. Where were you?
*Danny stammers as he tries to find the words for his excuse until Paulina decides to say this out loud.*
Paulina: *Smiles with glee* He was with me. We're dating now.
*After announcing this to a crowd that's slowly formed around them, everyone gasps, leaving Danny's three friends to become flabbergasted by this certainty some teens dropped their books, leaving a boy who owned a Paulina Shrine in his locker to cry out in sorrow as the girl he's oh-so loved is suddenly taken.*
Boy: NOOOO!
Mr. Lancer: *Smiles impressively as he watches Paulina link her arm with Danny's own* Well, that certainly ups your street cred. Mr. Fenton. *Glares at Tucker* Mr. Foley, you're not dating out of your league. *Tosses the six erasers towards him* You can smack the erasers together. *Smiles at the couple* You two lovebirds enjoy lunch.
*As everyone watches the pair walk towards the cafeteria, this leaves Sam and Tucker notice Carrie's angry expression as the female halfa couldn't believe this.*
Tucker: Uh, you OK, Care?
Sam: Yeah, you looked like you've seen one of the ghosts you fought against.
Carrie: *Irritated* Of course, I'm OK, Foley, why would I not be OK?! And you're right, Sam, I am looking at a ghost - a ghost who's lost his damn mind! But, *Angrily gestures to Danny and Paulina, which knocks Tucker off his feet* look how happy he is!
*Suddenly, needing the urge to let loose some of that anger, Carrie releases a shout before punching a hole straight through a locker with her hand glowing blue and storms off, leaving Tucker and Sam to side-eye one another towards their friend's feeling of jealousy.*
Tucker: *Looks at Sam* So, I'm guessing that's a no?
Sam: Carrie, mixed with jealousy and anger - definitely.
*When lunch has arrived and Danny and Paulina have gotten their trays and a table to themselves soon, the couple is found in a nice, romantic silence, enjoying each other's company.*
Danny: *Leans his elbow on the table but it's instead poking into his mashed potatoes* I-I'm really happy that you're cool with this Paulina. *Gestures to the crowd of people surrounding their table* But everyone's kinda staring at us.
Paulina: *Lovingly* That's because you're with me now.
*Still finding himself in an unspeakable matter, the boy who once owned a Paulina Shrine begins to cry once more and runs away, which makes Carrie, who is seated with Sam and Tucker at a table near the couple, roll her green eyes in annoyance.*
Paulina: And speaking of that. How would you like to come with me to a bowling party on Friday night?
Danny: *Smiles* You mean, like a date?
Paulina: Not like a date. A date.
*Soon, Dash Baxter, who slumps his shoulders, walks towards their table and stands beside Danny, still owning the same glare every time he sees the raven-haired teen.*
Dash: Well, as much as it pays me to say this Fenton. Now that Paulina likes you, you're officially a cool kid.
Danny: Officially? Like a club?
Dash: Not like a club. A club. *Leans towards Paulina* He's kinda dim, isn't he? *Goes back towards Danny and hands him a folder that reads: A-LIST* Here's your membership packet… *Grabs a nerd who's known to be Mikey* And this is Mikey. He'll be doing your homework from now on.
Mikey: Hi, Danny.
Dash: Don't talk to him. You're nowhere near cool enough. *Throws Mikey off somewhere, then hands Danny another item* And here's your hall pass card. After the hall monitor stamps it 10 times you get a free frozen yogurt. *Looks down at him angrily* Welcome to the A-List, jerk. *Lightens up a bit* Uh- I mean, pal…
Kwan: *Astonished* Fenton's cool now? I thought we didn't have room for new members.
Dash: *Walks over to him and places a hand on his shoulder* Kwan, old pal of mine. I have some bad news…
*And now, the A-List has been fulfilled with an old member kicked out for recruiting a new member as a part of it. So, Kwan finds himself seated in between Sam and Tucker, leaving Carrie on the top of their table as it's known that the trio wasn't a part of any popularity poll within the school.*
Kwan: *Slumps his shoulders* I was told I have to sit here now.
Tucker: *Leans forward angrily* You'll never take Danny's place. Never!
Carrie: *Annoyed* Welcome to the Losers Club, dude.
*And so, the love story of Danny Fenton and Paulina Sanchez began where first off, in Danny's locker, the photo inside he owned of him, Sam, Tucker, and Carrie was now replaced were a photo of him and Paulina. However, not only were the couple enjoying their time together, but Kwan had also been enjoying his time with Sam and Tucker as well where the Asian boy replaced a photo that once was him and Dash with a newly taken one of the three themselves. In the meantime, Carrie had decided to stay out of their way for a brief moment, seeing as being a quartet with one of Casper High's football jocks wouldn't be the same.*
*Later that day, behind the school, Sam and Tucker peek from behind a wall to see if Kwan would be anywhere in sight after the day they had with him. Let's just say that when it comes to the duo playing football against a quarterback player, it isn't fun in their case, especially Tucker's as the dark-skinned figure owned multiple bandaids plastered around his face.*
Sam: *Annoyed* Any sign of the enemy of fun?
Tucker: Nope. We're officially Kwan-free.
Carrie: *Becomes visible right in between them* Not for long, Foley.
*The moment Carrie shows herself, both normal figures scream in fright as they didn't expect the halfa to suddenly appear right before them.*
Sam: *Glares at her* Carrie, don't scare us like that! What if Kwan hears us?!
Carrie: Oh, don't worry, *Gestures her hand towards their area* the dude's nowhere to be found.
Tucker: Which means I can finally focus on the satellite.
*Following his gaze, both girls have their eyes met with a familiar blonde known as Star who is spotted, seated alone at the baseball court, checking her nails.*
Sam: Satellite? Her name is Star.
Tucker: But she used to be Paulina's satellite.
Sam: *Gets what he is implying* Ahh, the marginally attractive girl who always orbits around the popular girl.
Carrie: *Nods impressively* Smart idea, Tuck.
Tucker: Yeah, now that Paulina's with Danny, she's like us; weak, unpopular, and ripe for the picking.
*After listing these perfect reasons, both girls watch as Tucker makes his way over towards Star.*
Tucker: Hi, I'm Tucker and I-
Star: *Interrupts him* Where have you been? You should have made your move on me hours ago. *Shoves a small pile of books* Here are my books… *Places a bowling bag on top of it* I like to bowl on Friday nights… *Points a stern finger* And if you try to hold my hand before our third date, *Clenches her fist* I'll break yours in half. *Walks away*
Tucker: Sweet. I've got a date Friday.
Carrie: *Crosses her arms* Same date and place as Danny's if you don't remember, dude.
Tucker: *Shrugs his shoulders* Who cares? I still got a date!
Sam: Then if that's your relationship by default, count us out.
Carrie: Yep, and if you do need us, *Gestures herself and Sam* we're going to be at a poetry slam tonight, so you're welcome to join if the whole thing with Star doesn't work out, which I hope it does because these types of things are sort of mine and Sam's thing.
*Just then, the duo (minus Carrie) is slightly startled by the voice of their new "best friend".*
Kwan: Hey, new best friends!
Carrie: *Becomes invisible* Well, that's my cue to leave, see at the slam, Manson!
Tucker: I'll leave you two lovebirds alone. Satellite- I mean Star! Wait up!
*Once both teens leave the gothic figure alone, she becomes annoyed and anxious about their temporary abandonment.*
Sam: *Reaches out to them (even if Carrie is invisibly flying away)* Wait, guy, don't leave me with-
*Before Sam can continue calling out for her best friends, she stops herself short, squeezes her eyes shut, and opens one to meet Kwan standing right beside her, owning a small sad look.*
Kwan: You, Tucker, and Carrie don't like me very much, do you?
Sam: *Nervously* Who? Us? What gave you that idea?
Kwan: It's okay… I know I don't fit in with you guys and I don't fit in with popular kids anymore. *Walks away, depressed* Guess, it's chess club for me…
Sam: *Stops him from walking even further* Kwan, wait. *Mutters to herself* I can't believe I'm asking this… *Looks up* I'm going to a goth slam poetry tonight with Carrie. It might not be your kind of thing, and I'm sure she wouldn't mind, but…
Kwan: Is this like a pity date?
Sam: Not a date, but plenty of pity, and like I said, Carrie's going too.
Kwan: *Becomes happy* Sweet!
*He grabs Sam's wrist and drags her away from the school building, which makes the Manson teen wonder about how Carrie would react to Kwan stepping in on the two girls' date night of their own.*
Sam: *Sighs* I'm sure Carrie will be OK with it…
Carrie: No, I'm not OK with this! The poetry slam was supposed to be our thing only!
*Standing in her room, Sam knew it wasn't worth the shot, but she was doing this all for Kwan to not end up lonely.*
Sam: *Crosses her arms and raises an eyebrow* And yet, you had no problem giving Tucker an invitation?
Carrie: *Places her hands on her hips* Oh, come on, you and I both know that Tucker isn't the type to stay and listen to goths preach depressing things about their inner teenage life. No offense to you that is…
Sam: None taken. And c'mon, if you stayed and saw the look on his face, you'd let him tag along with no sweat, regards.
Carrie: *Groans* You know what, I'm actually not feeling the mood to be on any dates tonight, if I'd ever go on a date with anyone in this godforsaken town, it would be with Danny. *Realizes what was said, she turns around, blushes, and mutters* Oh, man, what did I just say?!
Sam: *Smirks and sings in a teasing tone* Someone's got a ghostly crush!~
Carrie: Do not! And how could I? Fenton's out with Paulina! So, if he's happy, *Clenches her fists* I'm happy, isn't that what friends are for!?
Sam: You're taking this crush thing wayyy too out of proportion.
Carrie: *Approaches her with a stern finger* Paulina is up to something, and I'm gonna find out what it is! I mean, c'mon, you'd suddenly change your perspective on how you feel about him all because he exposed himself being the ghost boy!? Please!
Sam: So, that's still a no on tagging along with me and Kwan to the poetry slam? If so, then I hope it'll change, *Grabs her shoulders* because you know how Kwan can be when he isn't a part of the popularity crowd!
Carrie: Sorry, Sam, but I'm flying dateless tonight. And besides, maybe a little late-night stakeout session for Amity Park could cool me off.
Sam: *Sighs and walks out of her room* Worth a try…
*Taking place at "AMITY PARK LANES", the date of Danny Fenton and Paulina Sanchez (who aren't aware that Tucker Foley and Star were also involved with their own) has begun where just as Paulina picks up a gray bowling ball, it slips out of her hands and rolls down the gutter, avoiding the white pins that were still standing. Watching this happen, the jocks that were a part of another popular group laughed and pointed at the Latina's "accidental" turn.*
Paulina: *Upset* Danny… I'm so embarrassing myself… Could you be an angel and give me a little invisible help?
Danny: That's cheating.
*Not willing to beg, Paulina pecks his cheek.*
Danny: *In slight daze* Or… creative point scoring. I'll be right back after your strike.
*He runs off to hide behind a man who's currently enjoying his meal, and transforms into Phantom, then phases into the ground just for Paulina to "accidentally" drop another bowling ball where soon, Danny's intangible hands phase from the bowling alley, grabbing the ball, and drives it straight into the pins, gifting Paulina a strike on the scoreboard.*
Paulina: *Jumps up and down, cheering happily* I did it! I did it! I did it! *Looks at Danny who approaches her and grabs his hands* You're the best, Danny. *Pecks his cheek again*
Danny: *Chuckles* It's good to be the best.
*Meanwhile, at Skulk and Lurk where the poetry slam has just begun, Carrie has decided to attend the event, even if it meant crashing Sam and Kwan's date, (which is what the Manson teen had hoped for since she practically bribed the female halfa fifty bucks into coming). So, finding herself strolling into the small building, Carrie is met with many depressing goths that surround the room as one had gone up on stage to read and announce those who have written their poems.*
Goth: *Dryly* Please glare indifferently at our net guest, The Beholder.
*After announcing the first author, Kwan looks towards Sam who slumps beside him with a large, happy smile pressed against his face.*
Goth 2: Darkness... Eternal... I wait for your kiss... In the nothing I see your bleak smile...
*Once Goth 2 has finished, he closes his eyes and looks down in sadness just for Kwan to happily take part as it appears to be his turn to share a poem next.*
Kwan: Cool! Me next! *Runs off*
Sam: Oh, no...
*Not willing to take this secondhand embarrassment, Sam slams her head on the table just for Carrie to walk towards the chair that Kwan owned.*
Carrie: Hey, what did I miss?
Sam: *Voice muffled against the table* You're not missing anything... *Gestures her hand towards Kwan who is on stage* The pain is just starting...
Kwan: *Holds his paper out in front of him and speaks into the microphone happily* And now a little poem I like to call: The Fluffy Clouds All Look Like Footballs!
Carrie: *Cringes* Oh, no...
*And so, the trio find themselves standing right outside the back of Skulk and Lurk where they have been kicked out due to Kwan's happiness spreading all around the room that's not meant for a bunch of goths.*
Goth 1: And stay out!
*Once he slams the door shut, this makes Carrie and Sam glare up at the former popular teen who smiles down at both girls innocently.*
Carrie: *Sighs and mumbles over her shoulder* I wonder how Danny's date with Paulina's going...
*When speaking of the new couple, bowling date-night has just ended for both Paulina and Danny as now, the pair find themselves outside of the building.*
Paulina: If you like me- kiss me.
*As she leaned over with her lips puckered up, Danny couldn't contain himself as to what he was about to finally do.*
Danny: *Happily* I'm the luckiest guy in the world.
*However, right before the Fenton teen could allow his lips to come in contact with Paulina's, suddenly, a loud engine is heard approaching the couple and that noise is made by the motorcycle of none other than Johnny 13 himself soon, the biker ghost speeds up and slams the brakes stopping right in front of them.*
Johnny: *Angrily* Listen punk, you stay away from my girlfriend, dig?
*Suddenly, having to move away from Danny, Paulina's body glows green as well as her eyes (which glow red), and soon a figure phases out of the Latina, allowing her to fall into Danny's arms and that figure belongs to Johnny's girlfriend, Kitty.*
Kitty: Beat it, Johnny. I'm Danny's girl now.
Danny: *Shocked* Kitty? Johnny? Paulina? Oh, great... I'm in the middle of a love rectangle!
*Finally finding herself coming to, Paulina moans, still a bit dazed after being overshadowed by Kitty all this time.*
Kitty: *Notices* Whoops.
*Without hesitation, Kitty flies back into Paulina, overshadowing the Sanchez teen once again, leaving her eyes becoming red for herself.*
Kitty(Overshadowing Paulina): *Smirks* Now... *Leans into Danny* Where were we? *Puckers her lips*
Danny: *Becomes awkward* Uh, this is all a big mistake...
Johnny: Yup. Your last one.
*Johnny whistles for his Shadow whereas meanwhile, inside the bowling alley, Tucker is slumped at his table, holding onto Star's cup of soda just for his eyes to catch Shadow appearing from the end of the aisle, then flies out of the building and hovers, angrily over the two.*
Danny: I'm going ghost!
*And once he does become Phantom, Danny flies up and is met with Shadow who then wraps his tail around Danny's waist, swirls him around, and sends him flying off, yelling whereas Kitty (still overshadowing Paulina) doesn't say anything but glares at her boyfriend.*
Johnny: C'mon, Kitty. Quit wigging out and come back to me. *Smiles innocently* I'll be good.
Kitty: Forget it, low-life.
*Now the battle between Danny and Shadow has ended quite briefly where the black wisp follows his nemesis around towards a telephone tower. After a couple of attempts to grab the male halfa, Danny cleverly flies around the pole, which indicates Shadow follows just for the wisp to find itself wrapped around it. Soon, Shadow manages to not break itself free, but the telephone pole as well where he held it like a sword, and throws it at Danny only for the item to pass through his waist which splits apart for a brief second before they watch it land on top of a truck, shattering the glass completely.*
Danny: Optional sunroof. Nice.
*Shadow says nothing but growls claws his nails out and lunges at Danny. However, the moment the black wisp could attack the Phantom teen, he screams in agony as he is suddenly met with a bright light shining from down below by the hands of Tucker Foley who stands on top of the bowling alley's roof.*
Tucker: Do your thing, man. I got your back.
*Unfortunately, that help comes to an end as Star's voice is heard from inside the building.*
Star: GET DOWN HERE, FOLEY!
*Tucker sighs in annoyance before heading back down into the building whereas meanwhile, Kitty (overshadowing Paulina) attempts to run away from Johnny who is soon chasing after her on his motorcycle. As she runs down the street, she lets out a gasp as Johnny grabs the girl by her worst and places her on the back of his motorcycle.*
Johnny: Alright, baby... Let's take this elsewhere, huh?
*Luckily, Danny swoops in and grabs her from above and they fly away to an empty park.*
Kitty(Overshadowing Paulina): Oh, Danny. I knew you'd come back for me...
*Danny tilts his head away as Kitty/Paulina kisses his cheek where the female ghost opens one eye just for Johnny to land from above and slam on his brakes right in front of the pair, allowing his headlights to shine upon them. Watching this happen, Johnny becomes furious.*
Johnny: Alright, that's it! You want her, runt?
*On one of the handlebars of the bike, there is a cube with its own writing that reads: FENTON WORKS, and with one press of the button, a portal to the Ghost Zone suddenly appears right above him in midair.*
Johnny: You can keep her! I'm gone!
*Without saying another word, Johnny drives up and straight into the portal, allowing it to close once he passes through.*
Danny: He can ride in and out of the ghost zone when he wants now?
Kitty(Overshadowing Paulina): He stole some doohickeys from your dad's lab last time he was here and then he wired it to his bike. *Places her hands on his neck and looks at him with a loving gaze* But is that really what you want to talk about?
Danny: *Grabs her arms* No. We should probably talk about something a little more important...
*And so, Danny grabs Kitty/Paulina, carries them in a bridal style, and flies away, back to his house so they can chat in private about what has happened the entire time he thought he had actually been dating Paulina Sanchez.*
*Now, down in the basement/laboratory, Kitty/Paulina is seated in a chair while Danny is floating in front of her in case the girl could find ways to escape.*
Kitty(Overshadowing Paulina): Look, Danny I didn't want to cause you any trouble.
Danny: Well, you're about 8 shadow attacks too late. What's the story?
Kitty(Overshadowing Paulina): *Sighs* It's like this...
*Driving down the entrance of Amity Park, Johnny 13 and Kitty are now stopped somewhere around a city where the green-haired ghost is happily taking everything in sight of every living (some being non-living) thing that comes across her way.
'Ever since Johnny modified his bike so it could come here, I'd been nagging at him to take me back. The city sights were so exciting...'
However, when Kitty turns to call out for Johnny so the two can explore their time in the human world together, she catches her boyfriend staring flirtatiously at another girl who walks past him, causing his own girlfriend to scowl in his direction for his green orbs paying attention to another girl.
'Unfortunately, Johnny was taking in the sites, too.'
Now, as the couple rode down the road, Kitty looked sad, she watched as Johnny caught up to a bunch of girls in their car, riding beside them and smirking down at them.
'And by the sites, I mean every single girl in town.'
Although, not even realizing it, the red blinks red at the stoplights and without even realizing it, Johnny speeds past it where a meat truck is shown up ahead, meaning they could crash into it. While the biker ghost kept his eyes on the three girls in their car from behind, Kitty closes her eyes and turns themselves intangible, allowing them to phase right through the truck in peace.
Once they come to a stop, Kitty scowls at Johnny and takes off flying into the air, causing her boyfriend to send Shadow after her. And everything thats happened all started with the water park where soon, Kitty comes across the area and lands on top of a sign, spotting Danny standing with his group.
'I-I remember how much Johnny couldn't stand you, so you were the perfect person to make him jealous.'
Kitty smirks mischievously as she watches Sam head towards the bathroom.
'I was going to overshadow your friend, the spooky chick in black, but I figured she wasn't your type anyways...'
Soon, once Sam leaves the restrooms, Paulina and Star are next to enter, sending a glare at the Manson teen who also sends one back while the two popular girls aren't watching. And while both girls were occupied in the restroom, they spot Carrie and surprisingly Danny standing inside it next. Once they kick Danny out of the small building, Kitty watches in guilt as Paulina had sent an insult to the female halfa.
'I even thought about overshadowing your other friend, but since her being a halfa, she'd probably find a way to fight me out of her.'*
Kitty(Overshadowing Paulina): *Points with a knowingly smirk* You like her, don't you?
Danny: *Becomes nervous* Carrie? I- uh, well... Well, what's there not to like about her?
Kitty(Overshadowing Paulina): I know! I mean, come on, how can you not like someone who is as cute as a kitten with those adorable little pigtail braids?
Danny: She's a loyal friend, a great partner, and a great hero...
*After Carrie leaves in an angry manner, Kitty doesn't hesitate but flies from the bathroom stall and phases straight into Paulina's body, overshadowing the Latina.*
Kitty(Overshadowing Paulina): So, I ended up in this body. Go fig. *Smiles happily* But the good news is you like her, too. Johnny's furious, I'm pretty, you're popular... *Shrugs* Everybody wins!
Danny: Except Paulina. You realize you're going to have to stop this, right?
Kitty(Overshadowing Paulina): *In Paulina's voice* Maybe... Or maybe Paulina might slip up and tell the town that Danny Fenton is the ghost boy. And... maybe I'll even expose Carrie Mayth as the other ghost, too...
Danny: Uh... That's Inviso-Bill and Carrie is apparently Vanish-a... Man, that sounds cooler than mine.
Kitty(Overshadowing Paulina): *Stands up* See you at lunch tomorrow. Boyfriend...
*When tomorrow arrived, the four friends found themselves having lunch at the Nasty Burger, seated with their own companies. Danny with Kitty (still overshadowing Paulina), Sam is slumped in a booth with Kwan with Star seated right behind them while Tucker is grabbing something to eat, leaving Carrie seated at the counter alone on a stool, sipping a cup of lemonade in irritation.*
Kwan: Sam? Are you sure you're not miffed about the poetry thing last night? Because you seemed pretty miffed.
Sam: *Annoyed* Why would I be miffed? Just because I can't sit at my regular table, *Crushes a box of napkins with one hand* and I can't go to my regular bookstore anymore.
Kwan: So, we're cool then?
*Not even bothering to answer him, Sam gets up and leaves their table whereas from behind, Star gives the jock a polite wave.*
Kwan: *Smiles* Hey, Star.
Sam: *Walks up to the counter* Tucker, hey...
Tucker: Oh, hey, Sam... So how are you getting along with Kwan?
Sam: Great... How are things with Star?
Tucker: Couldn't be better...
Carrie: *Walks up to them* Well, this is a surprise, seeing you two together again... Heh... So, how are things going with your new best friends, guys?
Sam and Tucker: *In sudden simulate* He's/She's driving me crazy! You can't even imagine what I'm going through right now. He's like a human root canal/All I do is carry stuff for her. It's like I'm a butler or something... *In sync* You've gotta help me!
*After realizing what they have been going through, both Sam and Tucker finally get the chance to share a loving laugh, causing Carrie to smile at this sight as things slowly start to get back to normal.*
Tucker: Seriously, Sam, Kwan and Star are stuck to us like gum on the bottom of a desk. We have to lose them.
Sam: I don't see how. I have the feeling we're tied to these two losers until...
Star: *From behind them* Sam? Tucker?
*Once the voice of the blonde-haired girl is heard, Tucker and Sam turn around to find both her and Kwan standing behind them, holding hands.*
Carrie: *Points to their interlocked hands* Until that...
Kwan: Star and I were just talking and we decided we might be less cool than Danny and Paulina, but we're way more cool than you two.
Star: Tucker, I hope we can still be friends.
*And without hesitation, Tucker hands Kwan the tray of food that was formerly meant for him and Star, and soon, he and Sam instantly dash out of the Nasty Burger in freedom.*
Star: *Shrugs with a smile* That was easy.
Kwan: They're in denial. I learned about that last night at the bookstore.
Carrie: *Pats his shoulder* Well, best assure you'll be learning much more if you're ever able to walk into another bookstore that didn't get you and Sam kicked out, dude... *Walks away* See ya.
*As the female halfa made it towards the double doors, her green orbs glimpsed to find Danny still seated with Paulina(Kitty) where from across, she saw him mouthing "Help me..." in hopes to get him at least a few moments away from the ex-girlfriend of Johnny 13. She giggles and shrugs her shoulders with a small "Sorry" before strolling out of the restaurant to join Sam and Tucker who were down the street, looking back at the place.*
Tucker: That was easy. Now everything's back to normal.
Carrie: I wouldn't say back to normal yet, Foley. We still don't have Danny, *Becomes jealous* who's having a wonderful time with Paulina I'm sure.
*When expressing this, Carrie's hand glows blue and suddenly, she rips the red flag that was previously attached to a mailbox.*
Sam: *Crosses her arms and places on a teasing smirk* Someone's jealous.
Carrie: Am not!
Tucker: Are, too. Ever since the Ember McLain mind-controlling concert, you've been all over him, especially since now he's with Paulina.
*However, what the three friends didn't know is that Kitty had been overshadowing Paulina Sanchez the entire time they thought Danny had exposed himself as one of Amity Park's friendly, neighborhood ghost.*
Danny: I'm losing my mind... I mean, Paulina's fairly high maintenance.
Carrie: *Sarcastic* Oh, wow... Like we haven't noticed, Fenton...
Tucker: Yeah, but worse she's being controlled by a ghost with a crush on Danny.
Carrie: *Snickers* Well, someone's got her priorities straight even if it isn't true.
Sam: Tucker, Kitty doesn't have a crush on Danny. She's using him to make Johnny jealous. I have an idea on how you can get rid of her, but it's pretty radical.
Kitty(Overshadowing Paulina): *Walks from behind the school and calls out for Danny* Danny? Has anybody seen my Danny?
Danny: *Becomes invisible* Radical's good. Let's hear it.
*Now, finding themselves at Fenton Works Lab, Danny, and Carrie are in their ghost forms, standing in front of the ghost portal, ready to dive in and visit the only person who's willing to break Danny free from Kitty's ambitious plan.*
Danny: Well, here goes nothing. I hope you're right about this Sam.
Carrie: Let's hope...
*Soon, the duo fly through the portal together, leaving both normal teens behind.*
Tucker: Good luck, dude.
Sam: Remember, Danny. Be cool. Play it close to the vest. If Carrie's willing to keep you to it that is...
*However, when both halfas meet Johnny 13 around the area filled with large floating boulders, Danny instantly reverts his coolness as his panicked mode begins to overturn.*
Danny: *In an exhausted strained voice* You have got to take Kitty back! *Grabs both collars of Johnny's jacket* She is suffocating me... I need my space! *Gets closer to his face* YOU GOTTA HELP ME!
Carrie: *Tilts her head to face Johnny as his eye sideways towards her* Dude, if I were you, I'd do it...
Johnny: Okay! *Pushes Danny off* Okay! *Points* But you might have wanted to play that a little closer to the vest.
Carrie: *Scoffs* What I said... But at the same time, you kind of get what he's going through, Greaser.
Danny: Okay. Here's the plan...
*And now, operation: Break Kitty and Danny up/Get Kitty and Johnny back together is a go where later in the day, Danny had decided that for his and Kitty's second "date" he figured a picnic in the park is the perfect place for him and Johnny to have their little go-to battle against each other for the plan while him and Carrie were waiting for the Fenton boy to say the line.*
Kitty(Overshadowing Paulina): Oh, Danny this is so romantic.
Danny: Anything for you. You were worth fighting Johnny for.
Kitty(Overshadowing Paulina): Aww, that's sweet.
Danny: And you know what? I'd kick his ass a hundred times more and a hundred times harder if he ever shows his sorry face again.
Kitty(Overshadowing Paulina): Oh, and do you think your little ghost friend might do that, too? Because if I were her, I'd do the same thing for you, *Gazes "lovingly" into his eyes*boyfriend...
*Once hearing this, Danny grimaces away from the female ghost overshadowed the Latina as she gets closer just to have a voice thankfully break it up.*
Johnny 13: *From behind them* Oh... Is that right?
*Glancing back, the "couple" look to find Johnny getting off his motorcycle with Carrie landing right beside him.*
Kitty(Overshadowing Paulina): *In a happily disbelief* Johnny!
Johnny: Hey, doll... *Walks over to them* I came to get you back.
Carrie: *Walks past him* Yeah, maybe you'll teach him how to drive better. *Glances back at Johnny* for the record, 13, next time there's a red light, turn intangible!
Johnny: *Crosses his arms* It ain't my fault that trucker didn't properly see the road, dollface. *To Kitty* But that doesn't matter because again, Kitty, I'm here, I'm here to get you back. *Glares at Danny* By force, if necessary.
Danny: *Stands up in a fighting stance with a fake tone in his voice* Bring it on, punk. *To Carrie* Uh, Care, why don't you sit this one out? It's time I stay true to my words.
Carrie: *Shrugs her shoulders and walks over towards the picnic area* Whatever. Maybe we'll have our own little fight since Miss Perky here thinks she can take me on.
*After taking a seat beside Kitty/Paulina, the ghost girl gives Carrie a polite wave, which results in the female halfa to awkwardly return one next.*
Kitty(Overshadowing Paulina): Oh, relax, cutie, I wouldn't take you on, and besides, I'd probably lose to a fight in this body...
Carrie: *Scoffs and crosses her arms with a confident smirk* Yeah, you're probably right... But if it did come down to kicking your ass, I'd enjoy it since it'll finally give me the chance to put Paulina's prissy self in her place.
Kitty(Overshadowing Paulina): Honestly, I'd pervert you from doing that because I'm in this body... *Places a hand on her shoulder* But ever since yesterday at the water park when she insulted you, you deserve a throwback of revenge.
*Soon, the fight between Danny and Johnny begins and so, the 13 figure swings small punches, acting like he's attempting to aim for Danny's face, but obviously seeing as this happens to be a fake fight, he easily dodges them until...*
Danny: *Swings his fist back, ready to punch with a mischievous smirk* My turn.
*Without hesitation, Johnny isn't aware that Danny has actually swung his fist at his face, which causes extreme pain to enter the blonde ghost's nose.*
Johnny: *Holds his nose* Ow... *Removes his hands and gets closer to Danny's face and whispers* I thought this was a pretend fight.
Danny: *Prepares to throw another punch* Then pretend that didn't hurt.
*And so, after sending another punch, Johnny is thrown into the air. The biker ghost stops and soon, his aura glows an ecto-green, figuring that he might as well go through with the "realistic" fight. Johnny dives down towards Danny with both feet stretched out, ready to land a hardcore kick into him, but just before Danny can be attacked with the double kicks, he swiftly slides to the side as Johnny follows to throw a punch at him once more. Danny floats behind him with his arms crossed, becomes intangible, and floats smoothly into the ground, leaving Johnny confused as to where he went. Soon, Danny sneakily rises from the ground and smacks the back of Johnny's head with a proud smile.*
Kitty(Overshadowing Paulina)*Becomes worried* Be careful, Danny. Don't hurt Johnny too bad...
Carrie: *Smirks* Thought you and Johnny broke up?
Kitty(Overshadowing Paulina): Oh, uh, we-we did! But the least Danny could do is have Johnny's face off-limits if he's gonna fight to get me back...
Carrie: *Chuckles* Uh, huh...
*Finally, the fight comes to an end as Danny lungs forward with a kick that sends Johnny to the ground, allowing the green aura surrounding him to fade away.*
Kitty(Overshadowing Paulina)*Holds her hand out* Oh, not the face!
*Danny now flies down and stands over Johnny, he places his foot on the 13 man's chest with a proud grin plastered across his face.*
Johnny: Looks like you beat me again, dude...
Danny: That I did. And now, I'm gonna finish you off for good. *His green eyes glow a bit bright and his hand glows with ecto, ready to blast a ghost ray* See ya in oblivion, Johnny.
Johnny: *Looks at his girlfriend melodramatically* So long, Kitty, I'll miss you...
Carrie: *Places an arm around Kitty/Paulina's shoulder* Might wanna look away at this part, Kit.
*However, in their eyes of Kitty, she looks at Danny's hand glowing with ectoplasm that's ready to "end" Johnny for good, but she couldn't let the male halfa erase the love of her life from existence.*
Kitty(Overshadowing Paulina): *Eyes tear up and yells* Noooo!
*Eventually, the female ghost phases out of Paulina Sanchez, revealing her regular ghostly self, allowing the Latina teen to fall into Carrie's lap unconscious, and takes off flying determinedly towards Danny, and body slams him away from Johnny, allowing the Phantom to be sent away, shouting where he finds himself roughly landing against the ground.
When quickly gets up with grass in his mouth, Carrie realizes that the now human Paulina is still lying against her, and this causes the female halfa to groan slightly before softly having to place the Sanchez girl safely back down on the picnic blanket just for Kitty to rush over towards her boyfriend and cradle his head.*
Kitty: Don't you dare harm one greasy hair on Johnny's head!
Johnny: *Smile disappears at her words* Greasy?
Carrie: *Standing beside them and singsong* I told you!~
Kitty: *Cries* I love him! *Looks down at Johnny softly* You know that right? I love you.
Johnny: *Cups her cheek* I love you, too, babycakes.
*Kitty helps Johnny stand up and together, the couple share a loving hug just for Kitty to glare at Danny who stands beside Carrie as the halfas are enjoying this wonderful moment.*
Kitty: *Stands protectively in front of Johnny* And anybody who tries to hurt my Johnny has to deal with me!
Carrie: *Cups her hands together lovingly* Aww, ghost love... It's beautiful how it can somehow last in the afterlife...
Danny: *Chuckles* You said it, Care. *To Kitty and holds his hands innocently* And hey, I don't want to get between you two... Kitty, you're a great girl, but I'm nowhere near as cool as Johnny. And you two are obviously made for each other.
*After telling the green-haired ghost girl this, she smiles happily and holds her hands with glee.*
Carrie: *Puts a hand on her shoulder* He's right, and listen... If you ever need someone to talk about your toxic relationships with, *Side eyes Johnny* uh, no offense, 13...
Johnny: *Raises an eyebrow* None taken, I guess...?
Carrie: I'll drop by into the Ghost Zone anytime you need a chitchat or some advice, or to vent about whatever's on your mind, and once in a while, I'll maybe let you use my body, *Points a stern finger* only if you don't try and take over me permanently, then, we'll have some problems.
*Without saying another word, Kitty suddenly wraps her arms around Carrie, pulling her into a loving embrace. This causes the female half to become overtaken by this sudden affection, but seeing as not all ghosts like Kitty can be evil, she smiles and returns the embrace.*
Kitty: I have a feeling this is a start of a beautiful friendship... *Pulls away and glances at Danny for a brief moment* And well, he's right... *Turns to Johnny and the two hold hands* We were made for each other.
Johnny: *Places a hand on her cheek* You, uh, want to finish this conversation back home?
*Not even bothering to answer, she and Johnny get on his motorcycle, and soon, with a press of the device attached to his handle, the couple finds themselves back into the Ghost Zone with the two halfas following behind to take care of something before their departure.*
Danny: Just to make sure you can't come back...
*With one blast of his ghost ray, Danny succeeds in destroying the Fenton invention and this causes Johnny to become ticked off by this sudden change.*
Johnny: *Furiously* What? Hey, man! *Gets off his bike* That wasn't part of the deal!
Kitty: *Becomes concerned and angry* Deal? What deal?
Johnny: Aw, crud...
Danny: Should have played that a little closer to the vest.
Carrie: *Giggles* You kids have fun now, buh-bye!
*Now, Danny and Carrie fly back into the park just as the portal closes and they then find Paulina Sanchez finally waking up.*
Carrie: Ookay, I'm gonna head home, you've got Sanchez, *Flies away* Later!
Danny: See ya, Care. *Goes over and helps Paulina up* Um, hi... Do you know who I am by any chance?
Paulina: Sure. You're that ghost boy who saved my life. *Looks at him dreamily* Twice, apparently... Inviso-Bill, right? And where's the ghost girl, Vanish-a has to be here somewhere, wouldn't she?
Danny: *Scowls* Eh, I need a publicist... And by the sounds of it, so will Care...
*And so, Danny takes off flying into the sky, leaving Paulina in a dreamy phase as she sighs lovingly at the sight of her now having to develop a crush on the ghost boy.*
*The next day at school, as students walk by Paulina Sanchez's locker, their eyes catch the sight of it being decorated with photos and props of the ghost boy she oh-so owns a crush on, practically creating a Danny Phantom Shrine. She presses a kiss against one of the main pictures tapped in the middle of it before slamming her locker door shut and walks past Sam, Tucker, Danny, and Carrie as they watch her gawk lovingly at the Fenton boy's ghost side, which means, this sort of gives him a reason to speak to her.*
Danny: Hey Paulina.
Paulina: *Side eyes him with a glare* Why are you even talking to me?
*Just then, the boy who apparently still owns a Paulina Shrine in his locker becomes happy at this sight as he stood in front of Danny.*
Student: *Drops his books with glee* Yes!
Danny: *Strolls over to the three* Can you believe that? Paulina's still in love, but with the wrong me.
Carrie: I kind of can... *Places an arm around his shoulder* But hey, at least she isn't overshadowed by Kitty anymore, right?
Sam: Welcome back to the Fold, fellow loser.
*Soon, Kwan, Dash, and Star rush up to Danny and surround him.*
Kwan: Hey, Fenton. I need that cool kid membership packet back.
Dash: Better yet, *Pounds his fist against his palm* we'll beat it out of ya after school. Fen-turd.
*After indulging this moment, the popular figures walk away, leaving Danny in a small upset state.*
Danny: Oh, well... *Places on a smile* I have to say, it's good to be back among friends. But the popularity sure was nice while it lasted.
Carrie: *Smiles at him* Glad you finally realized, Fenton.
Tucker: I'll bet. But you know what the really rotten thing is?
*Not even bothering to inform his friends, Tucker rushes behind Danny, goes through his backpack, and digs out the hall pass card that only owned one empty space while all the others were filled up.*
Tucker: You were only one hall pass punch away from that frozen yogurt. *Spots Mikey walking by* Hi, Mikey.
Mikey: *Closes his eyes in clearance* Don't talk to me. You're not nearly cool enough.
Carrie: *Pounds her fist into her palm* Say the word, Tuck, say the word...

hello, everybody! i am back w/ an update! i was planning on getting this chapter up before thanksgiving, but i didn't have much motivation than... yeah, so i hoped y'all had a wonderful thanksgiving & ate lots of pumpkin pie! and i hoped y'all enjoyed this chapter.
