The next day

Izuku's classmates noticed that he never came back after talking to the teacher and became uneasy after seeing their leader looking angry.

There was no point in questioning him when he gave a short speech.

Aizawa: Midoriya needs rest because of the stress, so he'll be at his mother's house.

For some reason this pissed off one ash blond who was surprisingly the only one not licensed. Todoroki, on the other hand, followed Izuku's commands and saved enough points that he could get a license after his mistake.

His behavior made all his classmates look at him strangely since that day because of the always angry expression on his face.

But right now, Izuku is not at his mother's house.

UA forest

In the forest area, several trees were seen to be bent backwards with hand marks.

And that culprit was Izuku himself. His hands were bleeding and Mei and Hitoshi tried their best to comfort him.

Hitoshi: You've got to stop this already! You managed to fell 11 trees!

Izuku: haaaa!

Punch!

Crack!

Mei: now it's 12. What's wrong with you?!

Izuku as if he was able to calm himself down a bit.

Izuku: In the first month of the disaster, the school was a ruin and I was the only survivor. Everyone began to suspect that I might have been the cause. Since that time, I've been haunted by other people's deaths and everyone blames it on me...

He was released and was able to sit on the ground in peace.

Izuku: and then a month later no one could support me or even come to my aid because I was branded as a murderer because of my high status.

Hitoshi: but why were you the only one who survived?

Izuku rolled up his sleeves and showed them as objects appeared in his hand.

Izuku: whatever the cause of death, a living being leaves behind spheres. But I never took them because I buried them with the bodies. I hunted more than anyone else and once found some pretty... dangerous monsters. That's how everyone thought I killed them...

The trembling of his hands reached all the way down his body and tears were building up in his eyes.

Izuku: and as the last survivors were dying before my eyes, I realized that I was always dragging death with me.

Mei: but that's stupid.

Mei crouched down in front of him to put her gloved hands on his shoulders.

Mei: you were better at surviving situations like this than they were. And they were definitely relying too much on their own strength and the worthless security of the school. Besides, you said yourself that your quirk develops you and yourself as that skill keeps you from dying easily. You're these idiots' chance at survival, not their own killer!

Her outburst stunned the guys a bit, but it still helped Izuku calm his anger.

Mei realized she was too close to him now and blushingly stepped back to the pile of details. Only to be stopped by a hand on her shoulder.

Izuku: thank you for those words.

Standing up to his full height he walked past them both to a fallen tree.

Izuku: do you know why I vented my anger on those trees?

Something appeared in his hands and he grinned and showed them what it was.

The object looked like a strange, but clearly not like a single shard, of stone. Black and with a strange darkness inside.

Izuku: it's a stone of destruction. It's arranged specifically to create an artificial dungeon.

Hitoshi: you... got it by cutting down trees?

Izuku: making it requires resources. And how can you get it from if you don't have the strength and tools?

That didn't make them ask why he got it.

Izuku: there's a fact that entering this dungeon and staying in it long enough will awaken the skill.

Hitoshi's eyes widened as he was the only one among them who hadn't awakened his skill.

Izuku: but in return, this chance might not give a second skill later.

And then they almost fell off their feet.

Hitoshi/Mei: can I get a second skill!

Izuku: technically this decision should be made during the week spent in the disaster. But the dungeon works differently, so be careful what you do. Especially you, Hitoshi. Because maybe you'll learn a new skill.

The indigo boy let out a faint snort.

Hitoshi: I don't feel like I'm in my bad state to awaken this skill anymore.

Izuku rolled his eyes and led them to another part of the forest.

Izuku: the stone of destruction can create a dungeon that will only last a year. But it can develop if you fulfill the given conditions.

Mei: and how is it that you got that thing?

Hitoshi: he must have made it with his own hands.

Both were about to laugh, but when Izuku scratched the back of his head in embarrassment, their jaws dropped.

Izuku: the formula for its creation was guessed six months before I died. Luckily, the most important ingredient I obtained after a few cooking assignments...

They all turned pale as they remembered what he used to make baits and how he made food out of bugs.

Izuku: I want you to memorize it for the future without a note.

He opened the Handmade Survival Book with about 10 tasks completed.

Izuku: thanks to Mei, I was able to complete 13 tasks and now it's 14. Then I got these rewards. Medium Mana Shard.

Izuku: sphere of magic

Izuku: and the essence of dark monsters.

Izuku: but what's most important is the leftover monsters for distribution. The creatures here can be attached to them as well, but you'd rather meet them beforehand.

They had already reached a high hill and Hitoshi looked at the object in Izuku's hands with concern.

Hitoshi: and... what kind of monsters should we meet?

Izuku twitched his hand with a smirk and tossed the stone to the top of the hill.

Izuku: goblins would be too easy for you.

The stone became effective and created a sort of fog that enveloped the area a few dozen meters away.

Hitoshi: what is that!

Izuku: in a dungeon, the advantage should be on the side of the monsters. Therefore, the stone should change the environment.

The mist embedded itself into the ground and the terrain changed, releasing several rocks from under the soil and changing the hill into a small stone mountain with a cave on top.

Izuku: and your task for today will be practical: fight the monsters!

A strange noise came from behind the cave with a loud stomping sound. Hitoshi immediately grabbed the weapon he had caught.

A dagger made of some kind of fangs or bones. Mei had gotten one of those as well.

Izuku: stand by. One is on its way.

The monster ran out of the cave with a loud screech and ran straight towards them. If it wasn't for Mei's farsightedness, they wouldn't have been able to get away in time. It ended up crashing into a boulder and partially destroyed it.

Izuku: the primitive boar in front of you is from the beginning of the disaster. Its beginning served to change more than just humans.

Hitoshi: we can see that! But how to fight him!

He had to jump aside as the boar ran at him.

Izuku: all you need to know is not to harm his fur too much. He's technically a regular boar with a little more strength.

Mei questioned his words a bit, looking at the damaged boulder.

Mei: there's nothing to be done about it.

She ran towards the boar after it got up for a breather and lunged at its head.

The boar's fangs almost got Mei, but she miraculously held it in place for Hitoshi. The guy took that chance and stabbed the beast's neck several times until it fell down

Boar: roaaaaaarrr!

Izuku only watched with a smile as they did this and watched in amazement as three spheres emanated from the boar.

Izuku: a small group of goblin and human can be equal in strength despite their different advantages. But if it's a beast that's stronger than a mere human...

Hitoshi did the girl a favor and she took the speed and endurance sphere while he himself took the survivability sphere.

Only taking them now was a big mistake. While the two were going through the pain, several other boars were already walking towards them.

Izuku: newcomers.

Izuku threw a shuriken at the one in front and knocked it off its running rhythm, causing them to chain fall from behind the formation.

Now he could briefly look over the two who were slowly getting to their feet.

Hitoshi: so his last scream was for them?

Mei: what kind of crazy person came up with that!

Izuku: don't relax. I only delayed them.

At that moment a few more arrived and it was as if the whole pack had gathered.

Izuku: I guess I won't be joining you now. This will be your training. Conditions are right for the first day.

A shuriken stabbed into the head of one boar, resulting in the death of the beast.

Izuku: your current task from now on: kill 10 boars. Each.

While the two stood in a fighting stance in frustration, Izuku successfully walked past them and calculated their numbers.

Slowly from 10 boars was becoming 20 and he had to make sure that was the case for them. Izuku followed the path to the dungeon and killed Boars along the way with his black whip.

Izuku: (my control isn't that good, but it'll work out if you don't procrastinate with the summoning.).

After a minute he reached the cave and breathed a sigh of relief. There were no more boars and there was only one monster in the distance.

Izuku: vulture. The familiar monster had become a boss or something like the strong of the weak. Your fangs would make a great weapon!

The monster ran towards him across a wide space and Izuku had to admit that its aura could have sent shivers through him.

But instead he tried the same trick with the boar and threw shurikens at it.

It was frustrating to watch as one of them was deflected aside by the fangs and one only stuck between its eyes without doing any damage.

Izuku: Strong.

Raising his strength by 5% in time, he grabs the monster's fangs with his hands and tries to stop the evil beast.

Izuku: and you're strong. Then let's increase your strength. Full cover, 15%!

He was able to lift its head up and slam it sharply to the ground. The stunned monster had no time to do anything when Izuku pulled out a shuriken and pulled out a metal knife.

Izuku: your hide won't take a low quality wolf tusk dagger. Good thing I made a special material.

Time Skip

The wounded Mei and Hitoshi looked at Izuka with the corpse of a large beast.

Hitoshi: we were fighting a pack while you were fighting one!

Izuku: don't forget that this is a species under the new world and that I lowered the numbers for you along the way for proper equality.

While Hitoshi's eye twitched, Mei looked at the stone hill.

Mei: and how long should we wait for the monsters to appear?

Izuku: the monsters eat the spheres to speed up the development of their dwelling due to its heart. We will use a part for the next summoning and they will become stronger after a few times.

Both of his companions let out a tired groan as they treated their wounds.

Hitoshi: how do you know so much about the dungeon?

The question to the green guy caused the area to lower the temperature to their dismay.

Izuku: the first week I decided to look into the source of monster attacks and that's how I discovered one dungeon. I only spent a couple days exploring and destroying the monsters, which was my assignment. In the end, the school was destroyed due to my absence.

May: but... how do you know the formula of the artificial dungeon stone?

He looked at the dungeon he had created and returned his gaze to the two of them with a small smirk.

The pair of newbies slowly put together what they had learned and their mouths were wide open.

Izuku: yes, guys. I'm the genius who discovered the formula for the destruction stone. I named it because of how much destruction it can bring. Doesn't that sound great? After all, you'll get high stats.

They were still in shock and Izuku went to the bodies with a sigh.

Izuku: I'll go do the last task for the opening of the third volume.
