Kayo is at London Heathrow Airport, Terminal 6, after taking a week break from International Rescue, at Alan and Scott's request. While she was there, she went against orders and managed to get in contact with the GDF base at RAF North Weald in search for more leads on The Hood, unknown to International Rescue. Her return flight is on Fireflash, which Brains had helped with the design of new engines to reduce the travel time between London and Sydney, while making sure it remained environmentally friendly.
"Looks like we're all set for boarding," the flight attendant's voice crackled over the intercom, interrupting the low murmur of travellers in the bustling Heathrow Airport terminal.
Kayo glances up from her book, her heart skipping a beat. The smell of freshly brewed coffee and stale air conditioning melds in with the muffled chatter around her, as she gathers her belongings. Her eyes scan the crowd, searching for any sign of the Fireflash. The air has excitement and anticipation as passengers queue up, eager to experience the maiden voyage of the technological marvel. The gleaming metal beast looks almost alive as it looms outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, its wings stretching out like the arms of a giant, ready to embrace the sky. The line inches forward, and the thrum of engines grows louder. The clack of suitcase wheels and the shuffle of shoes on the polished floor echo through the corridor like a crescendo building to a grand finale.
Finally, her boarding pass is scanned, and she steps onto the bridge leading to the aircraft. The cool metal beneath her feet seem to vibrate with the promise of the journey ahead. She takes a deep breath, feeling the tension in her chest ease slightly. The interior of the Fireflash is a study in modern luxury, with plush seats and gleaming chrome fixtures that reflect the soft glow of the cabin lights.
The air is cool and clean, a stark contrast to the stale air of the terminal. She finds her seat, stows her carry-on, and buckles up. The hum of the engines grow louder as the plane's doors seal shut with a hiss.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard! Please take note of our safety instructions..." the passenger announcement begins, announcing their imminent departure. The anticipation in the cabin is palpable, a shared electricity that made the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end.
"Ever been on Fireflash?" a man next to her asks to which Kayo only scoffs, "Don't you worry. Bernard Bottomsly will look after you. If you get scared, you can… hold my hand, Miss er… I didn't catch your name."
"I didn't throw it," Kayo smirks.
"Ha-ha! Right!" Bernard chuckles, "Well, er… at least we're going in style."
"Pardon me, Bernard," Kayo grimaces and turns her chair away as he wrist communicator starts beeping, "Kayo here. Hello, Al."
"Yo, how does it feel, travailing home with the general public?" Alan asks.
"I wish Brains would hurry up and finish his upgrades to Thunderbird S," Kayo replies.
"Well, at least you'll be able to check out his upgrade to Fireflash while you're on it," Scott jokes, walking into the mission control room with Marion.
"I can hardly wait," Kayo says sarcastically, "Hello Marion."
"Evening, or should I say morning," replies Marion.
"How's your training?" Kayo asks.
"Well Scott says I'm doing well," replies Marion.
"Good to hear. I'm guessing combat training next?" Kayo asks, and receives a nod from Marion.
"Also Kayo, as much as we can't wait to see you I uh... wouldn't rush, Grandma Tracy baked you a cake," Alan says.
"When will she learn," Kayo grimaces as a look of disgust covers her face, "Just thinking about it is making me sick."
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard Fireflash. I'm Captain Hanson," a voice says over the tannoy, "We'll be cruising at about 75,000 feet today, at Mach 5 or better, so we should have you all the way to Sydney, Australia within a few hours."
As the plane began to taxi towards the north-west runway, Kayo peers out the window, watching the ground staff dart around like ants, their tiny forms blurring into the background as the world grew smaller.
The plane picked up speed, and the force pushes her back into her seat. Her heart races as the ground fell away, and the Fireflash ascends into the early morning sky. The city lights grow distant, twinkling like stars, and she feels the rush of adrenaline that she normally has when taking out Thunderbird Shadow.
5... 4... 3... 2... 1... Thunderbirds are Go!
April 5th, 2060 - 18:42 NZST
Thunderbird 5 floats around in space as John rushes around the gravity ring in order to reach the mission control room where the large holo-map of Earth is located. The distinct chatter of different radio frequencies is heard in the background as John picks up the distress signal from London Tower. Along with the call there is a holo-document forwarded to John which shows the flight path of Fireflash. It indicates a loss of contact over the Romanian sky.
"Fireflash has disappeared," the controller at London Tower says.
"London Control, this is International Rescue. I picked up your alert about Fireflash. Please confirm," John says.
"International Rescue. Yes, it's vanished... into thin air," the controller replies.
"Satellite imaging confirms no wreckage, so they haven't crashed," John informs, "Don't worry we'll find it." John spins around and presses to IR symbol of the map to contact Tracy Island. He makes sure to display the holo-map that had been sent to him from London Tower. "Guys, it's John," he states as the holograms of Scott, Marion, Alan and Virgil appear, sitting down in the lounge, "Kayo's plane has gone missing."
"What do you mean?" Alan panics.
"We've just talked to her," Scott says.
"It's literally disappeared. We can't find it. There's no indication it crashed, so no need to panic," John states looking directly at Alan.
"Have you ever seen me panic Thunderbird 5?" Scott smirks.
"When Dad went missing," Alan mutters.
"Figure of speech. I'm trying her communicator now," John says.
April 5th, 2060 - 09:51 AST
Unbeknownst to them, Kayo's wrist communicator fails to connect and she remains oblivious to the situation that is going on outside the plane
"So, then, Miss..." Bernard starts, attempting conversation.
"Kyrano," Kayo replies in disgust, not interested and felt like punching the man.
"Kyrano? You probably don't know this but, uh, from what I hear, this new hypersonic engine..." Bernard says, but Kayo pays little attention to this and looks at the floor uninterested. However, by doing so, she notices a shift in the sunlight that is coming through the window.
"That's odd," Kayo mutters, furrowing her eyebrows. She hears the sound of footsteps and looks up to see the co-pilot walking down the isle towards them, "Pardon me, but why are we changing course?"
"I'm sorry?" the co-pilot questions.
"The sunlight coming into the cabin is shifting, indicating we're changing course from southeast to east. Why's that?" Kayo asks the co-pilot.
"Uh... Will you excuse me?" the co-pilot replies and walks back to the cockpit.
Bernard looks impresses but Kayo continues to ignore him and turns her chair away from him once again. She tries her wrist communicator to try and check in with John. "John, it's Kayo. Can you do me a favour and check Fireflash's flight path?" Kayo asks but she receives static meaning, "No signal."
Not a minute later a message comes over the tannoy from Captain Hanson. "Sorry, ladies and gentlemen," Hanson begins, "But our instruments are indicating a de-pressurisation in the cabin. So, please put your oxygen masks on and we'll have you back on the ground soon."
"It must be those new engines," Bernard remarks, but Kayo isn't convinced as the oxygen masks are deployed from the floor.
"I know what de-pressurisation feels like and this isn't it," Kayo states, "And turbulence at 75,000 feet…"
"You're not thinking clearly," Bernard says as he reaches for his mask.
"Don't put on that mask, Bernard!" Kayo orders, "Something's wrong."
"Don't you worry," Bernard smiles as he puts on his mask, "The moment you pass out from lack of oxygen, I'll put your mask on for… you…"
Bernard's eyes roll into the back of his head as he, along with all the other passengers on the Fireflash fall asleep. All except Kayo. Kayo shakes her head in disbelief at Bernard's actions. She scans the plane looking for any signs of amorality. The oxygen mask in front of her stares back at her taunting her to put it on, but the sound of the cockpit door opening makes her look back and see the approaching Captain Hanson.
Hanson appears to be looking down each isle making sure that all his passengers have put the mask on and fallen asleep. The thumping of her heart rings in Kayo's ears as she knows that Hanson cannot find out that she is conscious. She takes another look at the mask and makes her decision. Taking a deep breath in, Kayo grabs the mask and puts it on. Footsteps of the Captain get closer and closer and Kayo tactfully turns her head to one side and shuts her eyes, just in time to feel the presence of Hanson walk past her. After another couple of seconds, the door at the front of the plane that takes you down to a lower level opens and Kayo opens her eyes and looks down the isle, waiting for the door to shut. As soon as it shut, Kayo takes off her mask and does a deep breath out. It takes a moment to regain her breath back before she unbuckles her seatbelt and charged down the isle to make it to the cockpit, which Hanson left opened.
Kayo barges into the cockpit and does a quick scan, approaching the pilot's seat. She spots the co-pilot slumped in the seat next to it. "Co-pilot out cold and the captain up to no good," Kayo muses, "This isn't exactly normal..." In the corner of her eye, she suddenly spots some lose wires and crushes down to look under the control unit. There she spots a wavelength disrupter. "…And neither is this thing." She rips it off disconnecting it and throws it to one side before immediately contacting John.
"Thunderbird 5, it's Fireflash. You there?" Kayo calls.
"There you are," John exclaims.
"We have a situation aboard the plane," Kayo explains.
"You've been invisible for the last half hour," John says.
"Invisible?" Kayo questions.
"You're back on visual and radar now. You had us worried," John responds.
"It must be some kind of cloaking device," Kayo says, and takes another look at the co-pilot, "Listen, this is weird, but Hanson has hijacked his own plane. He used the oxygen masks to knock everyone out."
"It's not Captain Hanson. They found the real Captain Hanson just a few minutes ago, tied up in a crew locker," Scott tells Kayo.
"Well, if it's not Hanson, then who is it?" Kayo muses.
"Someone in disguise steals a hi-tech plane. Who do you think?" Alan growls.
"The Hood," Kayo snarls as she peaks outside the cockpit and sees The Hood remove his Hanson disguise as he heads back up the isle towards her location.
"Kayo, get out of there now," Virgil orders as Kayo slams the door shut and scans the cockpit looking for another escape route.
"Easier said than done," Kayo trails.

"You found Kayo's plane?" Gordon asks walking in after doing a rescue in Thunderbird 4.
"Yeah, but she's in trouble. The Hood is in there," Alan says, clearly worried, "Time to deploy?"
"F-A-B, little brother," Scott nods, "Me and Marion will go and intercept in Thunderbird 1. The rest of you wait here until we pinpoint their destination. We don't want you on a wild goose chase."
"No. We'll follow you and bring Module 2," Alan responds defiantly, "If I'm right by the time you'll get there it'll be too late to launch Thunderbird 2." Before anyone could say anything he rushes off to the module bay.
"Looks like the decisions been made," Virgil shrugs and nods towards Gordon, "You'd better go after him."

Thunderbird 1 comes to a stop as the swimming pool above starts to retract.
Thunderbirds are Go!
April 5th, 2060 - 15:36 CST
In the engine room of the plane, Kayo hears the squeaking of the trapdoor opening that leads up to the cockpit. She takes a beep intake of air as she makes it to the back of the room and hides behind some containers.
The clanging of footsteps on the metal stairs echoes around the room as The Hood makes his way down them. The light tapping of feet can be heard as The Hood slowly makes his way forwards down the side of the engine room, pausing every so often. He peers through the gaps between each of the containers
"Come out, come out, wherever you are. If you surrender now, I won't hurt you... too badly," The Hood threatens.
Kayo creeps around the far container and makes it to the opposite isle to where The Hood is in order to gain some extra time before her inevitable confrontation with him. All the while her wrist communicator is silently buzzing indicating an incoming call. Initially she ignores it, thankful that she put it on silent earlier, but the closer The Hood got, the more likely that he would her the buzzing and give away her location. Eventually, Kayo folds and answers the call. A hologram of Scott and Marion appear.
"Your timing is terrible," Kayo whispers, annoyance thick in her response, "You'll lead The Hood right to me." A smirk then appears on Kayo's face as a plan formulates in her mind. "Give me fifteen seconds and call back."
Kayo slips off her wrist communicator and turns it off of silence. She leaves it in the open, placed on some black boxes while she sneaks around the side of another container in order to get out of view.
As requested, Thunderbird 1 calls her again and The Hood makes a beeline for where the sound it coming from, an evil grin on his face. However, that quickly changes to a look of confusion as he spots the device and picks it up to observe it. His distraction has given time for Kayo to push the container in front of her and climb on top of it as it goes hurtling towards her uncle.
The Hood looks up startled and doesn't have any time to react before he is thrown off his feet and crashes in a heap on the floor. He groans in pain, clinching his chest and attempts to climb back up onto his feet. This leaves him in a vulnerable position allowing Kayo to jump down from the container and kicking him in the chest. The satisfying snap of a rib breaking is heard and The Hood wails in pain, dropping Kayo's wrist communicator in the process. Kayo picks it up from the floor and attaches it to her wrist. Meanwhile, The Hood slowly gets back onto his feet.
"Why am I not surprised it's you?" The Hood growls.
"Ruining your fucking plans is the best part of my job," Kayo replies and throws a large fuel canister at The Hood.
"Ow," The Hood cries as one hits him in the head, causing a mild concussion.
"Oh, shit? Did that hurt?" Kayo taunts and grabs onto the container next to her, "Want some more? We'll try eating this shit."
The container flies across the room towards The Hood, who this time manages to get himself out of the way allowing it to crash harmlessly further down the room.
"Why does everyone else get to have the best toys?" The Hood demands as the pair start throwing fists at each other.
"You're after the new engines," Kayo deduces.
"Rather than go through a bunch of tiresome corporate espionage, I just decided to take the whole plane," The Hood explains.
"That's… not… gonna happen," Kayo replies between several dodges and punches. The Hood raises his fist to hit her directly in the head, but Kayo's quick reflexes allows her to duck. However, this is at the fuel storage controls expense.
"Warning! Fuel leak detected! Warning!" a computer ordinated voice says as the plane starts to fall towards the ground. Containers and boxes go flying around them as they slide down towards the entrance of the engine room.
"Quite a chip off the old block," The Hood smirks.
"You leave my family out of this, you arse," Kayo growls.
"Don't you mean 'our' family?" The Hood asks, "Its 'bout time you stopped this hero shit and come work for me!"
Kayo grabs a metal box that is trapped next to some storage capsules and manages to grab a hold of it as she slides past and throws it in The Hood's direction. It reaches its intended target and throws him off his feet awkwardly onto the side with his broken rib.
"Not now, not ever," Kayo snarls, "Your cloaking devise is shot, everyone knows we're we are, International Rescue is on their way and when we land, the Global Defence Force will be waiting for you with handcuffs."
"Well, that's certainly not gonna happen," The Hood scoffs as he scrambles to his feet, "And who's gonna land this thing? You?"
"Yes, me," Kayo responds, throwing a punch which while hits her uncle, leaves her open. The Hood takes advantage of this and punches her in the gut, sending her to the floor.
"With damaged avionics and a leaking fuel line?" The Hood questions. While Kayo is down, he uses this time to make a run for the escape pod. Kayo slowly gets up to her feet and gives chase only to see the escape pod door close, with The Hood inside.
"I may have lost the plane. But International Rescue is gonna loose so much more!" The Hood cries, "Good luck with the landing."
The Hood gives one final smirk before the escape pod detaches and flies away.
Kayo narrows her eyes as she contacts John. "Thunderbird 5, you there? I have a situation."
"Satellite readings indicate you're still at Mach 5 headed east, much further north than you should be," John informs, "Thunderbird 1, I'm sending you her position and projected rout."
"On an intercept course now," Marion replies, "What about The Hood?"
"He got away," Kayo sighs.
"I'll alert the GDF to his last known position," John says.
"What's the status of the passengers?" Scott enquires.
"Oxygen's now feeding the emergency masks. Passengers should be waking up soon," Kayo states.
"Fireflash, I suggest you adjust your course back south," John says.
"Negative. I'm leaking fuel and need to put this thing on the ground," Kayo dismisses.
"We need to find you a landing strip long enough to handle Fireflash to see if we can land it before Thunderbird 2 arrives," Scott winces.
"Got one," John calls as he does a quick search of landing strips in Fireflash's near reach, "It's a decommissioned space port in the Gobi Desert."
"I see it. I'm disabling autopilot and dropping down to subsonic speed," Kayo says.
"Good luck," John states.
Kayo sits down at the controls of Fireflash fastening her seatbelt and takes the plane off autopilot. She then leans across the dashboard and pulls a large leaver. The Fireflash tilts further forwards and it drops rapidly in the sky. A firm eye is kept on the instruments as Kayo brings the craft to a more suitable altitude to perform an airport approach. Eventually, she levels out the plane allowing it to glide towards the intended landing strip.
"Fireflash is cruising at 10,000 feet, air speed of 300 knots," Kayo relays.
"Thunderbird 1 is over the Gobi," says Marion.
"On my scopes, 1. You should have visual contact with Fireflash in 5... 4..." John starts but Scott interrupts him.
April 5th, 2060 - 15:52 CST
"Contact," Scott says as Thunderbird 1 sores over Fireflash. He slows Thunderbird 1 down and flies parallel to the passenger airliner as it continues to cruise. Marion gazes outside the viewing window. "We're gonna perform a fly-by to make sure there's no visible external damage." Scott then proceeds to manoeuvre Thunderbird 1 around Fireflash, looking for any damage.
"Well, everything looks okay," Marion says.
"You should be coming up to that landing strip," John says.
"F-A-B," Kayo acknowledges as she starts to lower Fireflash once again.
The runway quickly comes into clear view and Thunderbird 1 pulls away from Fireflash, giving Kayo enough space to manoeuvre into the correct position, lining up with the runway perfectly.
"Looking good Fireflash," Scott states.
"Deploying landing gear," Kayo announces and puts the wheels down, or is meant to as only one came down. No-one realizes until Kayo is only a couple hundred meters above the ground.
"Kayo! Only one wheel came down!" Marion cries, "If you land like that, the plane could pinwheel and disintegrate! Pull up, abort the landing!"
Kayo's mouth drops in shock as the singular wheel hits the runway. Fireflash skids along the ground for a short distance before Kayo reacts and reaches for the large leaver once again and pulling up. The wheels spark as it carriers along the tarmac. The plane tilts sharply upwards and makes a turn towards the south-east as it is taken once again back into the air.
"Few," Kayo breathes as her shoulders sag backwards after those tense few seconds.
"Kayo, I'm sorry," Marion apologies, "I should've had you check the landing gear first."
"It was my responsibility," Kayo responds with a sigh.
"Can you lower the landing gear manually?" John asks.
"Afraid not, the co-pilot is still out cold after his encounter with The Hood. I'm the only person on the plane awake," Kayo explains.
"Ooh, never mind," John winces.
"Uh guys?" Kayo calls as a warning light suddenly appears on the dash, "Not so good news. My fuel tanks are really low, maybe ten minutes left."
"Could you put her down without landing gear?" John suggests, "Empty the fuel tanks to make the plane lighter. There might be relatively little collateral damage."
"The Hood punctured a fuel tank in the cargo hold. All that fuel's in the belly of the plane. A spark there could turn Fireflash into Fireball," Kayo explains.
"Shit. Where's Thunderbird 2? We need them here now," Scott says.
"Actually, we're right here," Virgil calls.
"Sorry for the wait Thunderbird 1," Gordon smirks.
"That's okay, now we don't have a moment to spare," Scott orders, "Virgil, Gordon, go and configure a couple of pods as landing gear, and bring two remote ones with you just in case. Alan keep Thunderbird 2 steady. I'll observe from above."
"F-A-B!" the three say in unison.
Virgil salutes and Gordon gives a thumbs up as they unbuckle themselves from their seats. They head through the back door of the cockpit and down some stairs that take them down to the module and rig up four pods. The module is full of various different pod attachments. Virgil heads over to a touchscreen monitor in the corner and selects the Elevator Car Pods and requests for four to be made. The mechanical arms start grabbing various parts around them including three pod cockpits labelled Pod A, B, C and D. Wheels are screwed onto the pod body while Virgil and Gordon jump into the seats of Pod A and B respectively. Then a large lifting pad is strapped to the roofs of all the pods and they prepare to exit the module. A small pad is located in Virgil's pod that isn't in Gordon's. This is to control Pods C and D.
"Ground-based landing gear is ready to roll," Gordon announces.
"F-A-B," Alan acknowledges, "Setting the module down now. Standby for touchdown." Alan fires up the VTOL engines and sets Thunderbird 2 down on the side of the runway before rising on the legs so Virgil and Gordon can exit.
"F-A-B," Gordon calls back.
"Pods deployed!" Virgil shouts.
"We're ready for you, Kayo," Gordon says.
"I'm on approach now," Kayo states as Fireflash plummets towards the runway.
"I'll take off just in case the backup needs backup," Alan winces and launches Thunderbird 2.
"Alright," Gordon responds.
The runway quickly comes into clear view again for Kayo. Once again Thunderbird 1 pulls away from Fireflash and Thunderbird 2 gets out of the way as quickly as possible. Kayo carefully manoeuvres into the correct position once again, lining up with the runway perfectly.
Virgil keeps an eye on Fireflash as he tries to get the pods into position. He grimaces at the sight. "You're coming in way too hot. Try to slow down to just above stall speed."
Fireflash continues to close in on the four pods as they make their way down the runway at top speed.
"Yeah. These pods aren't exactly built for racing. We're not even sure if it can match your speed," Gordon says.
"Remote ones coming in from behind," Virgil announces.
"Work on your confidence building skills boys," Kayo jokes.
"Raise the pads," Alan orders.
"Virgil, move two meters to your right," Marion says and Virgil does so, "And bring pod C, six meters behind you."
"Gordon you need to gain four meters on Virgil, with Pod D, severn meters behind," Alan explains as Gordon speeds up.
"Easy," Gordon calls.
"Easy," Virgil repeats.
"Kayo, cut your speed a few more knots," Alan orders, just as Fireflash makes contact with the 4 pods and start to slow down.
"It worked!" Gordon cries.
"Sure did," Virgil beams.
"Good work," Alan says, as he observes Fireflash slowing down on the runway.
Unfortunately, the victory isn't to last as Gordon spots problem. "Shit! Guys... little help."
"What's wrong?" Marion and Scott ask together.
"The planes too heavy," Alan shouts as he also notices the back pods get squished as well, "It'll crush the pods!"
"This isn't good," Virgil says.
"Hang on, I'm going up again," Kayo declares.
"Fireflash, a plane full of passengers is depending on you," John warns.
"So, are Virgil and Gordon!" Kayo exclaims. She ignites Fireflash's engines back up and sores away into the air. The down thrust from the plane doesn't do well for the four pods and they flip and tumble down what little is left of the runway. They go crashing into the sandy dunes that are just beyond the end of the runway, breaking apart.
After a few more rolls the pods finally come to a stop and Virgil and Gordon get out, "We're okay!" Gordon cries.
"John we need another plan. Now," Scott demands.
"There's no time. I don't even have enough fuel to make another attempt at the runway," Kayo explains.
"Oh no," Alan whispers.
"I'm going to try to ditch it in the desert at least you guys won't get hurt," Kayo says.
"What about the fuel in the belly of the plane?" John asks.
"I know… Look, if I don't make it..." Kayo says.
"Kayo!" Alan yells.
"No way," Scott says.
"No happening," Marion shouts.
"No, Kayo!" Gordon and Virgil cry.
"Quite down! Anyway, if I don't make it, I just want you to know I appreciate you all coming to my rescue. I may not have started life with a proper family, but..." Kayo says starting to tear up.
"Fuck this Kayo, you're gonna hold onto something," Alan says.
"No Alan! Maybe the deserts sand will stop the sparks," Kayo says.
Alan brings Thunderbird 2 over the top of Fireflash, directly above where the cockpit is. He does a quick live scan of Fireflash and studies the hologram that appears in front of his face. It flashes red as Alan turns on the magnetic grapple cables in an attempt to get a lock on the aircraft
"Alan, what are you doing?" Scott shouts.
"Kayo! I'm fucking serious, hold onto something," Alan tells down the comms, scaring everyone. Alan watches as the hologram pings green and he immediately fires the metal grapples and they link underneath Fireflash. "Got you, you piece of shit."
Alan then uses Thunderbird 2's VTOL engies to pull up. He grips onto the red controller and pulls Fireflash upwards. Using all his strength, the rear of Fireflash hits the runway and sparks start to fly. It skids down it for a short distance but Alan only increases the power and slows down the cruiser down even further. However, it isn't enough. Not wanting the sparks to start a fire in the belly of the plane, where all the spear fuel is stored, Alan turns Thunderbird 2 sharply to the north and consequently Fireflash does the same. The momentum is quickly taken away and they both come to a complete stop. Alan then releases the cables and comes into land right next to the plane.
"Now why didn't I think of that," Virgil deadpans.
"It worked!" Gordon and Marion cry.
"Well done," Scott and John say together.
"Awesome!" Alan remarks at his own work, as Scott and Marion land Thunderbird 1 opposite him, next to Fireflash. The International Rescue team then all gather on the tarmac in front of Fireflash. Alan and Kayo exchange making a beeline for each other and exchanging a hug.
"Great job everyone," Scott nods to the group before turning to Kayo, "Kayo those people, owe you their lives."
"What about The Hood? He got away again," Kayo explains.
"He'll get what's coming to him," Marion states, "Besides, you stopped his plot to steal the plane and we did save all the passengers."
"Sounds like a win to me," Alan says.
"Well, I know one thing. I'm never flying commercial again," Kayo jokes.
"I second that," Alan nods, giving Kayo a playful shove.
"Yeah," Gordon chuckles, "But of course we still have a problem. How is Virgil going to get Fireflash back to London?"
"Seriously? How are you gonna get it back?" Scott enquires.
"Uh... a really big rope," Virgil mutters.
"Yeah, good luck with that," Kayo says and the group laughs and walk off while Virgil takes another look at Fireflash and scratches his head.
As the group walk away, Alan pulls Kayo aside. "And wasn't it you who said to me not long ago not to do anything stupid on missions," Alan smirks. Kayo sighs but lets out a light chuckle.
"I believe a few words were exchanged yes," Kayo replies which causes Alan to shake his head in return with a smile as the pair walk into Thunderbird 2.
