Disventure Camp Ultimate Chapter 7: Episode 7: Strike a Chord, a total drama series fanfic

Title: Strike a Chord

Kristal (Recap): Previously on Disventure Camp... Yul feuded with Riya because he thought she voted for him at the last elimination, but it turned out to be Grett! Maggy and Drew bonded over feeling invisible on the Cyan team, while Aiden and totem finder Tom talked about the whole Jake situation. On the Magenta team, Will's insecurities over Jake and Ashley's growing bond increased, with Fiore and Karol taking note and wanting to take advantage of it. During our ball finding portion of the challenge, Karol did just that, leaving Will with the option to turn on Jake. On a more heartwarming note, with a push from Aiden, Tom finally found the courage to talk to Jake, leading to them promising to talk more. Meanwhile, Miriam tried to break down Riya's walls over Connor but was met with nothing. The next part of the challenge started out boring and slow, but became much more exciting when the goalies began fighting each other! In the end, the Magenta team lost sending them to elimination. The six heroes of Magenta debated over who to send home between Karol and Fiore, and ultimately decided to split their votes. At elimination, Karol used her immunity totem on Fiore, which meant she herself was eliminated with 3 votes. Tough break for our resident Karen! 22 are left. Who will be voted out tonight?

YELLOW TEAM - TENT

We open with Yellow team's tent during the nighttime, everyone peacefully asleep. All of a sudden, Yul is awakened when he is hit in the face with a stick. He wakes up.

Yul: Ow! What the hell?

He looks up to see Emily, the production assistant, shushing him. She then motions for him to come out of the tent, which he does reluctantly.

Yul: You have some nerve, lady, you know that? If I wake up tomorrow with those disgusting eye bags, it'll be your ass!

Emily: You finished?

Yul: What the hell is it that couldn't wait till morning?!

Emily: Your manager called me.

Yul: Asking for a raise again? Tell him to stop scratching his ass and get me some actual work.

Emily: I'm guessing you're not very bright, so let me explain this slowly. You left your phone on the plane. He's been trying to reach you for days because you're getting carried away out here. Audience favorability for you has been going down. All that work he put into you and Grett...

Yul: Woah, woah, woah! How is this my fault? Have you seen Winnie-the-Pooh? Do you know how hard it is to pretend you like that clingy piggy 24 hours a day?

Emily: It's not just her, you've been mistreating your other teammates too. You want to have a career after this, don't ya? If your popularity continues to plummet, you can kiss all those dance contracts goodbye!

Yul: Ugh!

Emily: Now put your pathetic ego aside and do as I say. Your manager offered me a lot of money to fix this... lucky for you!

Yul: Ugh! Fuck my life!

MAGENTA TEAM - CAMP

We see Jake and Ashley walking in the forest, Jake explaining what happened between him and Tom in the previous challenge, with Will lagging behind

Ashley: That's great buddy! It's about time he talked to you.

Jake: I know! Better late than never, but I'll take it.

Will: So nothing was going on between him and Aiden?

Jake: Nope! It was all in my head. Glad that's over.

Cut to Fiore sitting alone at camp, all of a sudden Rosa Maria walks up, concerned for her

Rosa Maria: Hi Fiore!

Fiore: Ugh, what do YOU want?

Rosa Maria: I just wanted to see how you were doing. You know, with Karol being voted off and all.

Fiore: Like I even care. Better her than me.

Rosa Maria: Right... well, if you ever need anything, I'll be here.

Rosa Maria begins to walk away, but Fiore thinks for a second before responding

Fiore: Wait! Nobody's ever said anything like that to me before...

Rosa Maria: Really? Not even your parents?

Fiore: No... they always sent me away to other places because they didn't want to deal with me. They thought I was too bad... I'm not even sure they know I'm back on the show right now.

Rosa Maria: That's awful! They should be ashamed. I wouldn't give up on my daughter no matter what.

Fiore: Yeah... I pretend it doesn't hurt, but deep down, I just want my mom and dad to love me.

Rosa Maria proceeds to kneel down and give Fiore a hug, which she reciprocates while giving a deceitful smirk to the camera

(Confessional) Rosa Maria: I think I managed to cover some ground with Fiore! Man, I thought it'd be harder though.

(Confessional) Fiore: That little "heart-to-heart" I had with Rosa Maria back there? Yeah, I was totally pretending. I didn't think I could use my "innocent child" act this time, but you know what they say: If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Cut to Hunter and Ally walking together, each with a pail of water in their hands. Ally is beaming with excitement which Hunter notices.

Hunter: What's got you so happy today Ally?

Ally: I just feel really good about last night's vote! It was me who came up with the idea to split the votes, and it worked amazingly. Maybe now the fans will start respecting me more.

Hunter: It was pretty smart, but why does it matter what the fans think? We're playing this game to win three million dollars, not to please the audience.

Ally: You know that's not what I meant. God, can't you just be happy for me?

Ally's demeanor changes quickly from happy to upset, and she storms away from Hunter back to camp

(Confessional) Hunter: Don't get me wrong, I am happy for Ally for coming up with that epic strategy last night. I just want to make sure she's doing it for the right reasons.

YELLOW TEAM - CAMP

We see Riya, Miriam, Kai, Connor and Lill all sitting together eating their pizza reward from the previous challenge

Riya: Ugh, thank God we finally won a reward! I would've rather it been a shower, but this will do I suppose.

Connor: I know! It's so great that we don't have to forage for food for once.

Lill: Oh, you're one to talk, Kai and I have been doing most of the food finding you goof!

Connor: Well, you got me there!

Lill and Connor both chuckle at their mini-banter, which causes Riya to get up and walk away

Miriam: Where are you going?

Riya: I- I'm going to record a confessional.

As she walks off, a sense of awkwardness fills the air, almost as if Connor and Lill know it's about them

Kai: Hey, where are Yul and Grett?

Miriam: Who knows... let's just enjoy the peace and quiet.

Kai: I don't trust them, I'll go see what they're up to.

(Confessional) Riya: Listen, I don't care about whatever Connor has going on with Lill. But they don't have to shove it down all of our throats *rolls eyes*.

Cut to another part of camp near the forest, Grett is standing there with her arms crossed, looking sadly at the ground. All of a sudden, Yul walks up fixing something into his left ear.

Yul: Heeeyyy, honeybuns...

Grett: Yul? What's going on?

Yul: I want to apologize for how I've been speaking to you recently.

Grett: Really?!

Yul: Yes, I've been very rude to you and have demanded a lot from you. I haven't been treating you like the Goddess you are, and as an ally to women everywhere, I can assure you, it won't happen again.

Grett: You really did hurt me, you know?

Yul: I know, angel. I wish I could take it back.

Grett: I suppose I can forgive you... but while we're being honest, I have to confess something.

Yul: What is it sunshine?

Grett: Back when Alec got eliminated, it wasn't Riya who voted for you. It was me. I'm so sorry, I was just getting so fed up with you and I wasn't thinking properly.

Yul: WHAT?!

Suddenly, the camera splits to reveal Emily speaking to Yul through an earpiece. Hearing Yul's slight freak out, she speaks up frantically.

Emily (on earpiece): Don't freak out! Just tell her "It's okay babe, I probably deserved that. I forgive you!"

Yul shutters in disgust before delivering the message

Yul: It's okay babe, I probably deserved that. I forgive you!

Grett: Thank you... let's just put this past us. I'm so glad you apologized to me, you've never been this sweet before.

Yul: I know, babe, but camp has given me some time to reflect. I made a severe lapse in judgement. You are so strong and brave, and you shouldn't change for anyone but yourself. I'm lucky to have the most beautiful girlfriend in the world!

Grett: Wow! Between you and I, I... never really thought of myself in that way. Thank you, darling!

Emily (on earpiece): Now kiss her!

Yul: Now kiss her.

Grett raises an eyebrow at this, while Yul simultaneously goes wide-eyed as he realizes his error

Emily (on earpiece): No, dumbass. Actually kiss her.

Yul (whispering to his earpiece): Are you serious?

Grett: Yes, I am! You're the best, love!

Emily (on earpiece): Do it!

Yul leans in to give Grett a quick peck on the lips, which she appreciates way more than he does. We then transition to the staff tent where Emily sits back in her chair relieved.

Emily: Finally! Jesus!

Suddenly, Trevor walks in to the staff tent as well

Trevor: You called?

Emily: Ah!

Trevor: Whatcha doin'?

Emily: Production things. Now, question for you... Why is the intern talking to me?

Trevor: Have you seen Derek? He's been gone all morning.

Emily: Oh. He went out to breakfast with Kristal.

Trevor: Just the two of them?

Emily: Yeah, they've been getting along quite well recently.

Trevor: Oh...

Emily: Why? Jealous?

Trevor: What?! Ha, pfft, ha ha, nooo! I'm just happy Derek's making new friends! *chuckles nervously*

Emily: Huh... Alrighty then!

CYAN TEAM - CAMP

Except for Nick, the entire team is sitting together at their campfire in a comfortable silence. Bored and wanting to talk, Gabby pipes up.

Gabby: So, Tom, how have things been on the police force?

Tom: Oh, busy as hell, but I love it! Plus, I get all the donuts a man could ask for! *chuckles*

Tess: What a dream, huh? Making a living off doing what you love.

Ellie: Tell me about it.

Tom: I gotta thank you again, Gabby; you're the reason I even got the job, after all.

Gabby: Write off my speeding tickets and we'll call it even!

Aiden: And who is supposed to help the city if Officer Tom is out here?

Tom: Hey, now! I promised my commissioner, if I won, I'd donate half the prize to inner city schools in my community.

Ellie: That's... actually really generous of you.

Tom: Oh, uh... Thanks, Ellie!

(Confessional) Gabby: Ah... It's good to see Tom and Ellie getting along. I love this happy family!

(Confessional) Drew: *He holds up his notebook with a message written inside "The team dynamic is better than ever!"*

(Confessional) Maggy: It's the calm before the storm over here. We're relaxed, but I know we're all secretly thinking who's going to blow this up and draw first blood.

Back at the Cyan team camp, Nick arrives to the rest of his teammates with heaps of firewood

Tom: Wow Nick, this is a lot! You just saved us days of firewood scavenging!

Nick: Oh, just doing my part!

(Confessional) Nick: After yesterday's challenge, Ellie had a chat with me about team contribution. As much as I hate the labor, she has a point. I'm here to win, and that means making sure my team sees me as a useful asset!

CHALLENGE AREA - STAGE

We cut to the Yellow and Cyan teams on their matts in front of a large wooden stage, Kristal walks up to them and starts her intro

Kristal: Welcome back, campers! Team Yellow and Cyan, getting your first look at the new Magenta Team.

The 7 remaining members of the Magenta team walk in. Not many react much to Karol's absence, except for Aiden who is overjoyed and Riya who is slightly saddened.

Kristal: Karol voted out at the last elimination.

(Confessional) Aiden: Yes! Serves her right for manipulating Jake to get James out. My only gripe is that I wish I got to do it.

(Confessional) Riya: Damn... another villain voted out. Karol is the one who kickstarted my rise to villainy. Even if she didn't do it on purpose, I still feel indebted to her somehow for all my success. I wish we could've worked together this season, but oh well.

Kristal: Alright, how's everyone been? We've been into the woods for a few days now. Miss singing in the rain? Hope the sun comes out tomorrow 'cause today's challenge will really send you to La La Land!

Connor: Is Kristal having a stroke?

Lill (whispering): *chuckles* Good one.

Kristal: Hope you guys got your stories on the west side 'cause it's musical time!

This announcement is met with mixed reactions, many people are excited, some are skeptical, and some are outright horrified

Kristal: That's right! Each team has to write and perform a song on this stage!

Maggy: Wait, right now?

Kristal: You have until nightfall to prepare. There's a shed behind the stage, where we have instruments and props you can use. Me and the other staff will be the judges, of course. It's gonna be a Hamil-ton of fun!

crickets*

Kristal: Ugh... You know, I worked really hard on those puns; Oliver would laugh.

All of a sudden, Trevor appears on stage and takes the microphone

Trevor: Now for a quick demo. Hit it! âª Locks eyes with you, like I try to be. Wasn't looking for love; now you're all I see. Let's not waste time. Why don't you come and move on? âª Oh, yeah! Time to groove, baby! Haha! âª Body wants to move; needs to feel like me. Cut through the room; now you're next to me. I won't be shy if you wanna get closer!!! âª

Derek then walks up to Trevor on the stage and rips out the cable from Trevor's microphone

Derek: Jesus, man! Karaoke mic's closed, Trevor. What's the matter with you?

Trevor: What? I'm just testing the new challenge!

Derek: You're testing my eardrums, and I'm about to kill myself.

Kristal: Pfft! Anyway... Campers, before I let you go, Cyan team has one extra member, who will be sitting out? Remember, it cannot be Tess, although I'm sure the answer is obvious anyways.

Everyone on the Cyan team immediately looks at Drew, who just gives a thumbs up before writing on his notepad. He lifts it up to the rest of the team and it says "Good luck guys!", then he walks away

Kristal: Now that that's settled, this musical challenge is on! Go get Wicked with it!

YELLOW TEAM - STRATEGIZING

Grett: Is anyone here musically gifted?

Yul: Um, your boyfriend's literally a K-pop star.

Grett: Oh, of course! Yul can lead us!

Lill: I can help as well! I have experience from singing loads of campfire songs with my troops.

Yul opened his mouth as if he was about to say something snarky, but paused as he remembered Emily's words about his reputation

Yul: *gritting his teeth* Perfect...

Miriam: Kai, do you think you could write the song? You seem to have a way with words.

Kai: Sure thing! Care to help me, Connor?

Connor: You bet! Let's knock their socks off!

Riya: As the only experienced actor who's been on professional movie sets, I'll be our wardrobe and set designer. Anyone have a problem with that?

Connor: Uh, how does acting qualify you to handle equipment?

Grett: Don't worry about it Connor, Miriam and I will help her as well!

Riya: Ugh, fine. Just don't get in my way.

Miriam: Wouldn't dream of it.

MAGENTA TEAM - STRATEGIZING

Fiore: I refuse to sing! This wasn't in our contracts!

Ashley: I don't wanna sing either, but they might penalize us if we don't at least sing backup. Jake, Ally, do you think you guys can lead?

Jake: Sure! Those shower solos hopefully amounted to something.

Ally: My grandpa always told me I had the vocals!

Will: Who's gonna write the song we sing though?

Hunter: Why don't we do it? It can't be that hard, right?

Will: Uhh... sure, I guess.

Ashley: I can play a mean guitar, maybe there's one in the shed!

Fiore: What about me? I can't play an instrument!

Rosa Maria: You can be our set director! Then I'll do the costumes!

CYAN TEAM - STRATEGIZING

Gabby: Oh, boy! Oh, boy! Oh, boy! This challenge is a dream come true!

Aiden: I know, right?!

Tom: Do you sing, Aiden?

Aiden: I was a big musical theater kid in high school!

Tess: Wow! How come I never knew this about you?

Aiden: Probably because we talked like... twice last season.

Ellie: Are you still pursuing acting?

Aiden: Before the show, I was. But traveling with James hasn't given me a lot of time for auditions haha. But if Riya can do it, maybe I can too!

Maggy: I'm... not the biggest fan of performing on stage. When I was a kid I was in my school play, but everyone bullied me because I had trouble fitting into any of the girl costume...

Aiden: Oh my gosh Maggy! I'm so sorry that happened to you!

Maggy: It's okay, I'm way happier now! I'm just not sure I'm ready to do it again.

Nick: Don't worry, we can just have you sway in the background and do some background vocals! That alright with you?

Maggy: Bit of a harsh way to put it, but I guess I'd be fine with that.

Gabby: Can I write the song?! Please, please, please?! I have such pain and anguish in my soul to express through the music...

The rest of the team looks surprised at how scary Gabby sounded

Nick: Whatever floats your boat...

Gabby: Yay! *giggles*

MAGENTA TEAM - SONGWRITING

On two parallel rocks, Will and Hunter are sitting down with two notepads trying to write the song for their team

Hunter: "You got me so"... hmm...

Will: Delirious?

Hunter: Good word bro!

Will: I just keep thinking about Ashley when writing these lyrics... is that weird?

Hunter: Not at all! I've been thinking about Ally when writing mine too. She's always so enveloped in how she's being perceived by the audience, it makes me feel like she doesn't value me. But I still love her, you know?

Will: I do completely! Ashley's been spending so much more time with Jake than me out here... I keep telling myself there's no malice in it, but I can't help but feel upset about it. Maybe I'm just jealous...

Hunter: Nah dude, don't try to downplay your feelings. That's like me saying "maybe I'm just jealous of the audience for getting all of Ally's attention", it sounds silly right? You're valid for feeling under appreciated, even if Ashley isn't doing it intentionally. Just talk to her bro!

Will: You're right, thanks. Let's get back to the song now!

MAGENTA TEAM - COSTUME AND SET DESIGN

Rosa Maria is sitting at a desk with a sewing machine, sewing together the costumes for their team's performance. Fiore walks up behind her with a picture of a set layout for their performance.

Fiore: Uh, hey. What do you think of this set idea I came up with?

Rosa Maria proceeds to turn around and look at the picture for a couple of seconds before smiling at handing it back to her

Rosa Maria: Wow Fiore, that's amazing! You're really smart you know, not many kids your age would be able to come up with something like that.

Fiore: Uh, thanks I guess. Your costumes aren't looking too shabby either.

Rosa Maria: Thank you. Before James gave me some of his prize money at the end of last season, I didn't have access to a lot of clothes for my daughter. I would have to sew together pretty much all of her clothes just so she'd have something to wear. So needless to say, I have a lot of experience with this stuff!

Fiore: Wow... that's really touching.

Rosa Maria: What do you mean?

Fiore: The lengths you went to for your daughter, not every mother would do that for their kid. My family is pretty well off, so I had store bought clothes, but they were always just what my mom wanted to put me in. I'd get in trouble if I dared ask for a shirt I wanted. *pauses* Sorry, I probably just sound ungrateful now.

Rosa Maria: No, you're alright! I get what you mean Fiore.

Rosa Maria put her hand on Fiore's shoulder, letting her know she understood her. This made Fiore realize what she just said and she immediately switched her demeanor.

Fiore: Yeah, whatever. I don't need your pity. Let's just get back to work.

(Confessional) Fiore: What the hell was that just now?! I actually... vented to her. And I wasn't even trying to manipulate her! I need to watch what I say from now on, I can't get attached.

YELLOW TEAM - SONGWRITING

Kai: Why don't we write a love song? Everyone has someone to love!

Connor: You really think Riya and Yul are going to go with that? Let's do something exciting that will really get the judges pumped!

Kai: I like your thinking Con-man!

Just then, Yul walks up with Lill

Yul: So do I!

Kai: What do you want Yul? We're trying to write a song here.

Lill: Hold on Kai, let him speak

Lill vouching for Yul made both Kai and Connor raise an eyebrow. Yul rolled his eyes at his mortal enemy's snide comment, but maintained his composure and put on a fake smile.

Yul: I just wanted to apologize for how I've acted during the game. I haven't been the nicest teammate, especially to Kai. So, I'm deeply sorry.

Kai: What?!

Connor: Gotta be honest, wasn't expecting that. What'd you say to him Lill?

Lill: Nothing! I was just as shocked as you! He apologized to me first before we came to you guys.

Connor: Well... I guess I can forgive you Yul.

Kai: Well I can't! After all that shit you did to Maggy and I, a weak apology like that isn't going to cut it. If you want me to believe you've changed, you'll have to prove it.

Yul: *gritting teeth* And that's completely understandable...

Connor: Anything else you want to say? We really need to get writing.

Lill: Nope! Come on Yul, let's do some more vocal warmups!

Yul: Fine.

Yul and Lill walk away, leaving Connor and Kai bewildered

(Confessional) Kai: I don't believe Yul's apology for a second. I gotta keep a closer eye on that asshole.

YELLOW TEAM - COSTUME AND SET DESIGN

We cut to Riya unscrolling a large piece of paper on a table, while Miriam and Grett look at costumes

Riya: Ladies, take a look at this!

Miriam and Grett walk over to the table Riya is at and look at the set design concept she has laid out

Miriam: That's a lot of lights Riya... are you sure it won't blow all the circuits?

Grett: I agree, I don't want them to catch my bad side!

Riya: Oh whatever, I think I know what I'm doing.

Miriam: If you say so...

CYAN TEAM - REHEARSAL

Tom, Aiden and Maggy all stand together warming up their voices, with Aiden in the lead. Then, Ellie, Gabby, Tess and Nick walk up to them with a notepad.

Gabby: Tadaaa! I present my masterpiece! Hehe!

Aiden: Yes! Let me see!

Maggy: What is it about?

Gabby: It's a love song! We even choreographed it!

Nick: We wanted to have three couples synchronized on stage.

Tess: Right, this will allow for some killer harmonies!

Nick: Gabby and Ellie will be one couple, Tess and I will be the second, and Tom and Aiden will form the last! Maggy, since you're not comfortable being in the spotlight, you'll be in the background providing support!

Maggy: Thanks!

Ellie: And, at the end, all three couples share a long, passionate kiss to finish the song!

Gabby: Romantic, huh?

Tom: Awww! Wait, what?! Kiss?

Aiden: I don't know if I can do that. I... I have a boyfriend!

Tom: Uh, yeah, and I have... uh... You heard Aiden! Man's got a man!

Gabby: It's not cheating if you have shoes on!

Nick: Yeah, it's just acting, Aiden. We want to make the show more believable.

Tess: Right, you don't hear me throwing a fit for having to kiss Nick.

Tom: Uh... I... I mean... I-if you're cool with this, Aiden.

Aiden: I have to think about it.

Ellie: It's our best chance at winning, guys!

(Confessional) Tom: I just made started to make things right with Jake, this kiss could ruin all the progress I just made with him! Then again, it is just for the challenge... ugh! What do I do?

(Confessional) Ellie: I suggested the idea of the kiss but the reasoning we just made up. This might be evil, but I can't pass up the opportunity to see Jake lose his mind again. Hey, with no TV out here, it's the next best thing.

CAMP TIPISKAW - TALENT SHOW

Kristal appears at the front of the stage, the curtain being up behind her. We cut to a shot of the bleachers, which has Drew sitting on it with all sorts of wildlife sitting on them quite comically, along with Derek, Trevor, Emily, Marcus and Nina sitting at a judge's table.

Kristal: Ladies and gentlemen... deers, frogs, and insects all around... Welcome to Disventure Camp's very first... patent pending... musical presentation!

Emily: Whoo!

Derek: Oh, yeah!

Marcus: Let's go!

Nina: Bring it on, people!

Trevor: Trevor wants to see some grooves!

Before Kristal can continue, Gabby peeks her head out of the curtain dressed in a cyan dress with a black bow tied around her waist

Gabby: Where is the audience? Did you turn them into animals?

Kristal: What better audience than the delighful fauna of Tipiskaw? Consider it a welcome-home present we're giving them.

Trevor: Where did she get the license for this?

Derek: Oh-oh-oh, my God! That's amazing! You have got to teach me your ways, Kristal!

Kristal: Maybe, if you behave, I'll think about it *wink*! Ahem. Anyway, let's get started... Up first, we have Cyan Team with "Piggyback"!

CYAN TEAM - MUSICAL PERFORMANCE

We open with three picnic blankets on the ground, with one of them toward the front of the stage, and the other two behind it On the one near the front, Tom and Aiden sat on the blanket. On the one Southeast of the two boys, Tess and Nick sat, while Gabby and Ellie sat on the last one. Off to the side, Maggy stood with a ukelele. Nick, Tom and Aiden were all dressed in white dress shirts, a black tie, black slacks, black dress shoes, and cyan suspenders. Ellie and Tess were both wearing the same cyan colored dress tied with a black bow at the waist as Gabby was. They also each had a cyan ribbon in their hair. Maggy was dressed up in a cupid costume. The song starts now:

At the end of the song, all three couples share a kiss. Drew immediately stands up and claps in the audience. Backstage, Jake wears a horrified look on his face at the sight of Tom and Aiden kissing.

Kristal: Oooh, spicy! Judges, tabulate your scores but keep them to yourself for the end. Team Magenta, you're up next!

(Confessional) Aiden: I felt weird about kissing Tom... but I know James will be chill. Anyone could tell it was just for the challenge.

(Confessional) Jake: I knew I was right about them!

We cut to backstage, where Jake is hyperventilating while the rest of his team looks on in worry, except for Fiore who could care less.

Jake: Did you see that?

Ashley: Don't count your chickens before they hatch, Jake. Just make sure you two talk later.

Jake: What is there to even talk about? He told me there was nothing going on between them! Clearly that was something! I know we're not technically dating, but telling me you want to try talking again and then kissing another guy? A TAKEN guy at that? I just... can't believe he would do this. What kind of games are he playing???

Ashley: I know this is a bad time... but use this anger in our song. You can do this! We're on soon.

Kristal: And now, Magenta Team performing an original... "Born to Drive Me Crazy"!

MAGENTA TEAM - MUSICAL PERFORMANCE

Ally: âª So let me tell you all the things I really hate about you! âª

Hunter: âª You call me when you need me then you drop me like yesterday's news âª

Ally: âª You take me on a date, but it's another lame pool partyyyy. When you get me home, you get so drunk you just fall asleep âª

Will: âª You got me so delirious, but I just can't seem to get enough âª

Jake: âª My friend said I should give you up, but nothing's simple when it comes to uuuuuus âª

Ashley: âª 'Cause you're born to drive me crazy, and we both know!

Rosa Maria: âªI'm gonna try to love you or let go âª

Ally goes to sing the next line, which was assigned to her, but Jake just continues to sing

The rest of Magenta team looks dumbfounded at how Jake completely went off script, hogging all the spotlight. Jake stares daggers into Tom's soul, before putting the finger up toward him. He takes his microphone and puts it up to his mouth, before saying something into it:

Jake: Fuck you, Tom!

The crowd gasps, and the judges shake their heads with disapproval. The other members of Cyan team look at Tom with worry, but he's absolutely dumbfounded. Ellie smirks, knowing what she's done. Ashley drags Jake off of the stage while the other Magenta team members stand there, mouths agape.

Kristal: Well... that was awkward. Judges, tabulate your scores. We'll now take a short break while Yellow team sets up their stage!

We cut to the bleachers, where Tom is still dumbfounded that Jake called him out publicly like that. His heart is in his stomach, he thought everything was fine, but clearly it isn't.

Aiden: Damnit! I knew that kiss was a bad idea.

Tom: I- I thought he'd understand that it was just for the challenge...

Ellie: Well, you thought wrong. Geez, I knew he'd be a little peeved, but that was a bit much.

Tom: What?! Did you plan this Ellie?

Ellie: Yeah, so what? Not like you two were together anyway. It's just a bit of toying around.

Tom: No, it isn't! Not that it's any of your business, but Jake and I were just beginning to rekindle something. And thanks to you, it might be ruined!

Ellie: Oh shit... well, no use in crying over spilt milk.

Tom: UGH! That's it, I'm going to have to go talk to him again.

Cut to Yellow Team setting up their stage, everyone arrives in appropriate rock and roll attire. Riya is setting up the last of the stage lights.

Kai: Fantastic work, Riya!

Lill: This is... quite a lot of lights.

Connor: It's not gonna overload, right? The circuit box connections can't be great out here.

Riya: Ugh, you people are impossible to please. Fine, I'll take down a few of the lights if it'll make everyone happy. But don't blame me when we lose for not being spectacular enough!

(Confessional) Riya: Amateurs! Don't they know to always trust the professional? I knew what I was doing! Still, with 6 people up my butt about the lights, I just bit the bullet. It wasn't a hill worth dying on.

YELLOW TEAM - MUSICAL PERFORMANCE

Kristal: Last performance of the night! Yellow Team presents... "No Matter How Hard We Try"!

Kristal steps out of the way as the curtain behind her opens up, revealing a yellow rock and roll set lit up with stage lights. The members of Yellow team are all already on stage.

Grett: âª Hear the engine roar, and I'm out of the door! Live the high-life I've been waiting for. Oh, oh, oh!!!!âª

Kai: âª Got no home and got no name. Changing my view again and again. Oh, oh, oh!!!. âª

Connor: âª Livin' the moment till I die! âª

Lill/Yul: âª And I'm going to chase it! And I'm going to chase it! I know we can't ignore it No matter how hard we try âª

Everyone on the Cyan and Magenta team cheers for the wonderful performance, except for Jake and Tom who are still both mad and sad respectively.

Kristal: Wow, talk about saving the best for last! Alright judges, tabulate your finals scores. In a few minutes, we'll decide who wins immunity and who is up for elimination tonight! You can all get up and change back to your regular clothes in the meantime.

DRESSING ROOM

Jake is sitting at a desk in front of a mirror, pouting over what transpired during the challenge. Suddenly, he sees the reflection of the man he's mad over pop up in the mirror, walking up to him.

Tom: Hey, Jake.

Jake: What do you want?

Tom: I know you're probably mad about the kiss... listen, it was just for the challenge. I thought you'd realize that! I still like you, Jake. I'm sorry.

Jake: Tom... even if it was just for the challenge, it still hurt me. Maybe James will be able to deal with it, but I'm not him. I was cheated on, Tom. You know that. Things like what you did are a big deal to me, acting or not. It brought back a lot of bad memories, that's what really ticked me off.

Tom: Oh my gosh... Jake, I didn't even think about it from that perspective. I'm so so sorry.

Jake: Just... leave me alone please. I want some space right.

Tom: Okay...

(Confessional) Tom: Agh! I feel like a jerk. I didn't even consider the fact that Jake has been cheated on before. This is all my fault...

We cut to all three teams back in their regular clothes back on the bleachers. The five judges are now on stage with Kristal, who has her microphone as well as an envelope.

Kristal: Without further ado... let's read the results! First, we have the highest scoring team...

Kristal: With 45 points, the Cyan team! Judges, would you like to explain?

Trevor: Of course! Cyan team, your entire performance was absolutely adorable. As a member of the queer community, I appreciated how you included three different types of couples. It showed that love is love no matter who it's between!

Emily: Agreed! That, and the kisses at the end were to die for! Truly inspired, good job!

Kristal: And, for winning first place, you will receive a record player for your camp, with the records provided by Marcus!

Marcus: You're welcome everybody!

(Confessional) Yul: Maybe it's a good thing we didn't win first... listening to music is great, but I'd rather listen to nails on a chalkboard than anything that weird ass man has.

Kristal: Now, for the loser, with only 30 points...

Kristal: Magenta team! You're up for elimination again. Yellow team, you're safe with 38 points. No reward, but at least no one is going home. Judges?

Derek: Yellow team, I really liked the vibe of your performance. I just wish it could've lasted longer! It felt like something was missing, but what was there was great!

Nina: As for the losers... well, what can I say. Swearing at an audience member just isn't professional, even if I do love the drama.

The other judges nod their heads in agreement with the puppet's statement, while the Magenta team puts their heads down

(Confessional) Jake: Damn, I let my anger get the better of me. Whatever, I'm not worried.

Kristal: Welp, that's that. Cyan and Yellow team, you can go back to your camps. Magenta team, you have one hour to decide who to vote, then you must meet me at the elimination area to determine who will be the sixth person voted out of Disventure Camp Ultimate!

MAGENTA TEAM - CAMP

We see Jake, Ashley and Will sitting at the campfire, Jake looks absolutely destroyed while Ashley puts a hand on his shoulder. Will just sits awkwardly, not really knowing how to console Jake. All of a sudden, Hunter and Ally walk up to the three.

Hunter: Uh, hey y'all, sorry to interrupt. We just wanted to see if y'all are locked in to vote Fiore with Ally, Rosa Maria and I?

Will: Sure thing Hunter, let's take that brat down!

Jake: Yeah, whatever.

Hunter: Great!

Ally: Come on Hunter, let's give them some space.

Hunter and Ally walk away from the trio to the forest, where they encounter Rosa Maria with Fiore

Hunter: Um hey Rosa, what are you doing with Fiore?

Rosa Maria: Hunter, Ally.. Fiore brought up an excellent idea and I'd love for you all to hear it.

Hunter and Ally look at each other with curious looks before reverting their attention to Fiore, who has a devilish smirk on her face

ELIMINATION - MAGENTA TEAM

Kristal: Wow Magenta team, back to back eliminations, first time this has happened this season! Well, time to lose another member, get voting!

VOTING CONFESSIONALS

Ashley (holding up a vote for Fiore): At least one good thing will happen today, and that's you finally going home!

Fiore holds a vote for Jake up toward the camera with a devilish smirk. Jake writes his vote down, not really concerned with the elimination at the moment. Will puts his vote in as well looking pretty happy and confident. Hunter, Ally and Rosa Maria all deposit their votes with unsure expressions on their faces.

VOTING ENDS

Kristal: Before I read the votes, if anyone has a hidden immunity totem and would like to play it, now would be the time to do so.

Kristal: Alright. Once the votes are read, the person with most votes will have to leave the camp immediately. I'll now read the votes. First vote... Fiore.

Fiore scoffs at this

Kristal (second vote): Jake.

Jake rolls his eyes at this

Kristal (third vote): Fiore.

Kristal (fourth vote): Fiore.

Kristal: That's 3 votes Fiore, 1 vote Jake, 3 votes left.

Kristal (unfolding fifth vote): Next vote...

...

Kristal (revealing fifth vote): Jake.

Jake: Huh? How did...

Kristal (sixth vote): Jake.

Ashley: What in tarnation!

Kristal: That's 3 votes Fiore, 3 votes Jake, 1 vote left.

Will: Oh my Gosh...

Kristal (picking up and unfolding the last vote): Sixth person voted out of Disventure Camp Ultimate...

...

Kristal (revealing the seventh and final vote): Jake. That's 4 votes, you must go!

Ashley: What the hell Hunter and Ally! You said you two and Rosa were voting for Fiore!

Hunter: Sorry, but we had to do what was best for our games.

Fiore: Bye bye!

Jake: Whatever. I was getting sick of this game anyways. Can someone just say goodbye to Miriam for me?

Ashley: Of course buddy. I'll give Tom what for as well!

Jake: *chuckles* Thanks Ash.

Jake proceeds to walk out of Camp Tipiskaw to the Highway of Shame. He looks at the camera and gives a weak smile, before breaking the facade as tears form in his eyes. Thankfully, we avoid seeing him completely breakdown as the Bus of Losers quickly scoops him up, leaving a silent stop.

(Confessional) Ally: Yeah, we worked with Fiore. She brought up the fact that if we voted her out and lost again, we'd for sure be in for a tie breaker. Nobody wants to risk going home that way. Besides, if we lose again, we can just boot Fiore and still have the numbers on Ashley and Will!

(Confessional) Fiore: Haha! Take that anyone who thought I was toast after Karol went home! It was easy to use Rosa Maria's new attachment to me to secure her vote, the hard part was getting those other nerds on board. Jake wasn't the optimal pick, since Ashley and Will are much bigger threats. But, he was the easiest sell considering how he lost us the challenge. Either way I'm not complaining!

Author's Note: Hey! Sorry for taking over a week to publish this. I've been swamped with studying for finals, plus this chapter was pretty difficult to write with all the extra character interactions and the songs. It's actually the longest chapter so far! I'm just glad I got it done. So yeah, Jake is gone. It doesn't feel real does it? The TomJake plot in All-Stars was one of my least favorites, second to Jake's fueding with Aiden and Ally. Now, we don't have to deal with that! Don't worry though, I'm not just ending it here with Jake hating Tom. They'll interact again and we'll see what happens! Speaking of plots from OG All-Stars, the Ally haters plotline hasn't been getting a lot of focus in this rewrite, so I decided to give them a scene this time. I really want to delve into how Hunter being in the game longer affects Ally's mental state, since his involvement in OG AS wasn't used to its fullest potential in my opinion. I hope you liked the new friendship between Fiore and Rosa Maria, the latter hasn't done much thus far, so this is her chance to shine! It's not a very complicated storyline, I'm sure you can easily tell where it's going... or can you? As for Yul, I honestly forgot to include the cliffhanger where Emily wakes him up... whoops. Yeah, I'm keeping the plotline where she helps him. I don't really care about the hosts so I can't even bother to give them new plots. There will definitely be changes. Another factor is that I didn't want to make Grett leave Yul TOO early, it would feel unrealistic. This is supposed to be a toxic relationship, it wouldn't make sense if she got out that easily. Also, Yul faking niceness gives Kai something to do, thank God. As for Yellow team winning this time around, obviously I needed them to win for plot reasons, but there's also some logic. Riya only had 4 people on her case about the lights in the OG, and they only brought it up whenever they were already setup. In my universe, 6 people are ganging up on her about it, plus Miriam and Grett started it earlier. It makes sense to me that this would cause her to just get rid of some of the lights, in order to get everyone off of her case. Furthermore, we must remember Riya isn't in a majority alliance in my universe anymore, so she'd want to appease her other teammates more so they wouldn't want to vote her off. Those are the reasons it makes sense to me that she would get rid of some of the lights, causing her team not to lose. Last thing, Nick and Tess being a couple in Piggyback was definitely intentional. Anywho, hopefully I can get chapter 8 out quicker, it will be the Space challenge! I just have a couple more finals to get through, then I can focus more on writing new chapters. Peace!
