A Cozy BAU Christmas-Ch 2
When everybody arrived back at Dave and Frans they were greeted by hugs from everybody as they made their way inside, one everybody was inside Fran said, "I hope that everybody is hungry because I made enough for a small army", Derek said, "we are a small army momma" causing them all to laugh.
As they were sitting around the table Penelope noticed how cozy her brothers were with Derek's sisters and couldn't help but grin, it was so good to see everybody so happy and smiling again because it had been a long long time since she'd seen all of her brothers so happy.
Paul and Patrick had been busy at the hospital their had been a 5 car pileup which was keeping the entire ER busy for most of last night and today but thankfully everybody had survived and most had already been released and sent home.
Since it was the weekend and the team had just gotten back from a case they were off for a few days and so was Paul and Patrick so the family decided that they would have a cook out, which considering it was December was odd but the weather had been unusually warm this year.
The women were planning things to fix for tomorrow and the men were talking in secret about presents for their wives/girlfriends, Derek couldn't wait for Christmas because this Christmas would be different, this year his baby girl was his girlfriend and he was going to show her exactly how much she meant to him.
Paul and Patrick had bought Sarah and Desi necklaces for Christmas as the main gift, they were beautiful, Desi's was diamond and Sarah's was pearl because they had found out from Fran what her daughters favorites were and even though the Garcia brothers had only been dating the Morgan sisters for a little over a week it was oh so obvious that they were head over heels for each other.
After their dinner was over and they were separated into their two different groups, well 3 groups if you count Jack and Henry who were playing with the dogs while the adults were busy with making their plans.
Christmas was still about 3 weeks away which would give them plenty of time to get their surprise gifts ready and Dave had told the brothers and Fran the sister-in-laws about how they are all together at her and Dave's house through Christmas they jumped at the chance to get to have a big family Christmas again.
When Penelope heard that she would be joined the entire time with her brothers, Shelly and Sany she couldn't be happier because that meant that her entire family would be together under one roof for the first time since she was a teenager.
After clean up was over and the planning for the cookout had been taken care of everybody decided to head home for the night so that they could get some much needed sleep but agreed to come back around 11 the next day to get everything going for the cookout, they just hoped that the weather would hold out because according to the forecast it was suppose to be in the 60's and for it to be December 60 degree days in Virginia were rare and they planned to take complete advantage of the situation.
