"Because once again, I've felt the brunt of heroism. Always the villain... Even when I'm not."

Emma wonders what she's supposed to have done and Regina tells her that she was dumb enough to travel through time so maybe she should have left things well enough alone, "I am not gonna apologize for saving someone's life," Emma says to Regina, who argues that Marian was going to die anyway and asked Emma the question, "What did it matter?"

Emma tells her that it matters because she was a person and, whatever she did, she didn't deserve to die. "Well, maybe she did!" Regina exclaims, to which Emma answers, "Well, you would now, I saved her from you."

Regina replies that she is no longer the person who did that, and she has worked hard to build a future that is now gone. Emma tries to console her, and Regina snaps that the situation is complicated enough with Marian back in the picture. Emma apologizes again, beginning to tell Regina that she will do whatever she can to help, but Regina interrupts, "Swan... The more you try to help... The worse my life becomes," She tells the savior.

I only lied to her to avenge your death," Now that he has done so, he needs the strength to give it back and be the man his son died for, "And I pledge, Baelfire, I will be that man. Your heroism... Has shown me the way. I promise. I'll spend my life repaying you for that," He stands up and walks away.
