SOPMOD glared at the back of her sister's doppelganger as the three T-dolls and single human walked through a forest. 'Jaws?! Why I ought to.' She thought. "SOPMOD, relax it wasn't meant to be an insult." AR-15 said. "It was meant to be a nickname." The blue clad T-doll looked to Reaper for confirmation. Her answer however didn't come from the stoic T-doll, but rather her companion
"it is." Ruby said with a beaming grin. "but if it wasn't. I'm sure Scarlett would have a nice chat with Auntie scarecrow, right?" the G&K T-doll's eyes widened as ruby's beaming grin turned into a sickly-sweet smile as she raised the bodyless head of the Sangvis Ferri ringleader. The smile wasn't the cause of their eyes widening, but rather the look of fear on Scarecrow's face.
The two looked at each other as scarecrow swore she meant it as a joke at first, but sounded like a good nickname after the amusement left. AR-15 looked to Reaper. "So. What's your story?" she asked.
The T-doll super soldier glanced back at her. "Before I met Ruby I remember waking up at a crash site. That's pretty much it." She said with a frown. "All I know is that I'm aligned with Sangvis Ferri, but I've made it my mission to help Ruby get home." The T-dolls (and scarecrow) were surprised at the sound of both frustration and determination in Reaper's voice as they'd only heard her speak in a stoic tone. SOPMOD and AR-15 glanced at scarecrow, who caught their gaze.
"Don't look at me. this is a first for me as well. Whenever she got on my case for making ruby upset or cry. She'd have an edge in her voice, but it'd remain stoic as always." Ruby smiled. "That just means that Bis Sis Scarlett is becoming more human than machine."
"BIG SIS!?" the three T-dolls yelled in unison before looking at the elite T-doll. To their shock, Reaper, whom always had a stoic expression, was blushing. "R-ruby! We talked about this. I'm just metal and wires! Not flesh and bone." She stammered out. "Besides, you already have a sister."
Ruby handed scarecrow to SOPMOD, who then proceeded to share an awkward look with the head, before approaching the T-doll Super Soldier. "I know Scarlett, but the way you've been looking after me. it's similar to what Yang would've done if she were here with me." the ravenette-red head said before hugging the T-doll. "And she'd probably agree if she had come with me." Reaper sighed before glancing up and glaring at the two T-dolls and head, daring them to say anything. They shook their heads violently, ensuring her that they wouldn't interrupt the moment
Glancing down, Reaper smiled and placed a hand on the girl's head. If she'd done this eight months ago, when they first met, the T-doll super soldier wouldn't have done this, but rather remain stoic.
4 Hours Later
"Dang it. Where could M4 be?" SOPMOD said. "Maybe in hiding. Like the… never mind." Scarecrow said before stopping herself. "Were you going to say coward?" AR-15 said glancing at the bodyless head in her sister's arm's. "Maybe, but that doesn't matter right now." AR-15 gave her a deadpan stare. "Guys, I see a cabin to our right." Ruby said making the group stop.
Reaper narrowed her eyes switching her vision to X-ray. "There's a T-doll in there. It's design is similar to mine. I believe that'd be your missing teammate." She said before her eyes widen as the silhouette of M4A1 stuck the barrel of her rifle into her mouth.
Reacting fast, Reaper raised her assault rifle fired two bursts making AR-15 raise her rifle and aim at the friendly Sangvis Ferri while Reaper saw M4A1 scramble to cover. "Drop the rifle!" SOPMOD said. "You're welcome." Reaper said. "Why are you saying that Scarlett. You probably killed their sister." Ruby said tears beginning to form.
Reaper reverted her vision and kneeled in front of the girl before placing a hand on her right shoulder. "My G&K doppelganger was about to kill herself Ruby. For their sake." Reaper spared SOPMOD and AR-15 a glance. "I couldn't let that happen."
SOPMOD glanced at AR-15 while Scarecrow rolled her eyes. "Oi, Anti-rain." She said gaining the two's attention. "Reaper purposely missed her shots to make your sister be on alert. She's probably scanning the edge of the forest." The bodyless Ringleader said
MID-CHAPTER A/N: Yes, I do intend for Ruby to have a sibling-like relationship with reaper. As for M4's attempt to kill herself… I used this to show M4's depression after AR-15's death. In no way do I support suicide
"I suggest you two approach first, I fear she would attack me on sight if I was the first thing she saw." Reaper said standing up. "I agree." SOPMOD said handing Scarecrow back to the little girl. "We'll let you know when you can approach."
Reaper and Ruby watched the two G&K T-dolls approach the cabin. "Wonder how M4 will react to seeing you Scarlett." The little girl said glancing at her sister figure. Reaper said nothing as she scanned the area whilst expanding her internal sensors.
SOPMOD stopped at the cabin's door with AR-15 right behind her. The Maverick T-doll took a deep breath and knocked. M4, I know you're in there. Open the door sis." Moments went by before the leader of AR Team responded.
"How'd you find me SOPMOD?" M4 asked. "We… had help from some unlikely people." SOPMOD said thinking how M4 would react. "Hey M4." AR-15 said gaining M4's attention. The Brunette turned towards her and her eyes widened. "AR-15?" she asked. "Rebuilt, purged of viruses, and reporting for duty sis." AR-15 said sheepishly before being hugged.
SOPMOD smiled at the tender reunion before turning to the forest motioning for ruby and Reaper to approach. "You first Ruby." Reaper said causing the girl to look at her. "I will follow after you are a certain distance from them. It's best we arrive separately." She knew Scarlett/reaper was referring to her and auntie Scarecrow.
Said bodyless person looked at ruby. "Careful, this is AR Team's leader. Though, judging by her clinging to AR-15 like that… suggest a group hug to SOPMOD, if the hug hasn't broken by the time you get there." Ruby nodded before heading towards the trio of sisters.
"You're not going to follow are you?" Scarecrow asked side-glancing at the super soldier. "No, it'd be unnecessary and dangerous for Ruby. M4 would most likely shoot me on sight." Reaper said. "I see." Scarecrow said. "Did you know you can cloak." The head said suddenly causing the T-doll to look at her with a raised eyebrow.
M4 was still embracing AR-15 when Ruby arrived. The little girl smiled and glanced at SOPMOD. "Jaws," she whispered. "First off, call me SOPMOD. Secondly, what?" the T-doll whispered back. "Join in. M4 could use some comfort from both her sisters." The ravenette-red head said. SOPMOD smiled and nodded.
Ruby glanced back and noticed that Scarlett/Reaper was nowhere to be seen. 'Probably decided to secure the perimeter instead." She thought. "SOPMOD, who's this?" Ruby turned to see M4 looking at her. "She's… one of the people who helped us find you." AR-15 said. "And the others?" M4 asked. "Judging by their lack of presence… I'd say securing the area." SOPMOD said.
"Or hiding in plain sight." A snarky voice said. The T-doll trio and Ruby turned to see the head of a certain ringleader. "SCARECROW!?" M4 exclaimed unsheathing a knife. SOPMOD and AR-15 pulled her aside. "Calm down sis. She's with Ruby. Besides, hurt either of them.. well, let's just say that you're lucky their last member missed on purpose." AR-15 said.
"Ruby?" M4 asked. The ravenette-red head cleared her throat gaining the AR team leader's attention. "Ruby Tuesday Rose, at your service." Scarecrow snickered a bit at M4's reaction at her niece figure's introduction. While she wouldn't say or admit it out loud, Scarecrow had grown to like the little girl. She often swore her core began to slightly overheat whenever Ruby called her auntie despite having no body. She glanced towards the forest's edge before doing a double-take.
The bodyless head frowned seeing a familiar T-doll emerge from the forest. "AR-15, and Jaws why wasn't M-16 with you?" M4 raised an eyebrow. "Jaws?" AR-15 snickered. "It's SOPMOD's new nickname. To answer your question Scarecrow, she needed repairs to her software, why?" the blue-clad doll said whilst SOPMOD fumed.
"Then why's she here." the head said gaining the girl's attention. "M-16, you should be back at base, getting repairs." AR-15 said. M-16 didn't respond. Instead, she brought out her knife and threw it at Ruby. 'No!' SOPMOD screamed in her head as the knife spun towards the five year old.
The T-doll didn't know why, but her legs moved on their own. Unfortunately, she was too slow as the knife sailed past her. However, the knife stopped mere centimeters from piercing the little girl and hovered midair surprising the trio.
Scarecrow laughed manically. "oh, she fucked up big time." The bodyless ringleader cackled causing AR-15, SOPMOD, and M4 to look at her in confusion. Scarecrow smirked as a hand materialized around the knife's handle. "SOPMOD, AR-15 remember when Reaper warned you about hurting ruby?" the head asked.
The two nodded as Reaper fully materialized with an extremely pissed off expression on her face. "You're about to find out why." Scarecrow said as Reaper dropped her rifle. "That was a very big mistake bitch." Reaper said seething in anger, eyes hidden by her hair. "Don't kill her Scarlett. She might be glitching." Ruby said.
Reaper looked at the little girl over her shoulder, a single glowing red eye giving a questioning gaze. "Evidently, she isn't always like this. Please save her. If not for them, then for me." the super soldier gave a shallow nod.
"What do you mean by that Scarecrow?" M4 yelled holding the head close to her face. The Ringleader merely smirked.
Screen turns black
"M-16 is about to face to wrath of a very pissed off big sister."
