Animal Caring with Prideful Warrior
Bulma is turning some bolts with her trusty new wrench then picked up the blowtorch to put in some last adjustments to the invention she is working on, then a pink tail went over to Bulma handing her a little computer chip.
"Here, the computer chip for the final installment." Nijuuichi said.
"Thanks, Njiuuichi. Now to put this in here and…" Bulma took a few more in the invention.
"Done!" Bulme clapped her hands and raise them in the hand.
"Wow, I can't believe we were able to make this at all since I don't have my usual resources and money to make this, but we really did the miracle." Bulma stepped back from the invention.
"It's a good thing you have me around to help you out! And that I know a really good junk yard place that have old parts along with other parts that are surprisingly good ones that are still in working condition." Nijuuichi explained.
"Well, all that stuff has prepared us into making this… Gravity Chamber!" Bulma gestured to the big dome machine that has been set right next to the house that is just like the one back at the Capsule Corp HQ, only bigger than the old one.
"I still can't believe it was okay from the mayor to build this after tearing the other houses next door to build this." Bulma said.
"Mayor Mare was really impressed with your inventions and how smart you are. Of course, she would grant you permission." Nijuuichi smiled.
"Thanks." Bulma thanked.
"Plus, those houses were already dammed for years, and nobody wants to buy to live in there anymore, and there was no way of fixing them up if they're gonna end up being broken down." Nijuuichi mentioned.
"Okay, that sounds reasonable." Bulma said with a sweat drop.
"But hey, with our combined brain power and the boy's muscles, along with the Rainboom's help, we were able to build this in the time before and after the Friendship Games." Niijuuichi smiled.
"Bulma, is that Gravity Chamber ready?" Vegeta asked walking up to her.
"Just in time, Vegeta. It's all done, all the circuits are in the right place and now we just need to test the place to see how well it works." Bulma informed.
"Finally, I've been getting sick and tired of the light exercises I've been doing with Kakarot." Vegeta said.
"Easy Vegeta, we can't go up to the higher levels of gravity immediately. We need to test it out on the lower levels first, like times five and ten and so on." Bulma stated.
"So, all you have to do is just tell us if the gravity pressure has changed with your body to feel anything different from the levels." Bulma explained the testing process.
"I suddenly feel like a test monkey." Vegeta muttered.
"Wait? Will Vegeta even know the gravity difference has changed because he had been changing in heavy gravity before and I'm not sure he will notice anything." Nijuuichi asked, concerned that the test may not go well with Vegeta having the stronger body than the average human.
"It's fine, I also put in a meter to show us if the gravity chamber is working fine with each gravity increase." Bulma showed the meter on her tablet.
"Alright, honey. Get inside." Bulma opened the door.
Vegeta walks into the room and looks around to see that it looks just like the old one, but he can clearly see the place is bigger meaning there will be more room for him to train in.
"Okay, I'm going to turn on to times five." Bulma said through the holographic screen.
The Gravity Chamber started to light up making everything into a red color and he can definitely feel the gravity has changed into a heavier level despite his body not exactly feeling it since he is so much stronger.
"Everything is green on times five." Nijuuichi informed.
"Good, now up to times ten." Bulma increased the gravity level again.
Vegeta just walks away trying to get the boredom out of his mind, hoping that Bulma would just increase the gravity of the machine higher already so he can really feel something though he might as well practice his martial art skills while he's waiting.
However, he stops upon hearing something that is coming from inside the gravity chamber almost like a squeaky sound as he looks around trying to find the source.
"Could I be hearing things?" Vegeta asked.
But then Vegeta got his answer when he finally found the source of the squeaky noise going over to the middle center of the machine and found a little squirrel, the little guy struggling to even move an inch under the intense gravity pressure, and this could end up killing the little guy.
"Alright, turning it up to times fifteen." Bulma said.
"Bulma, wait! Turn off the machine!" Vegeta said.
"Huh, why?" Bulma asked confused.
"Just turn it off!" Vegeta shouted as he quickly picks up the squirrel.
"Alright, sheesh. Sometimes when something comes up, Vegeta doesn't say anything until a little later or not at all." Bulma argued with herself as she turns off the gravity machine.
Vegeta walked out of the gravity chamber as Bulma and Nijuuichi came up to him seeing there is a squirrel in his hand.
"I found this furry creature in the gravity chamber, and it was getting crushed by the intense gravity." Vegeta explained.
"Oh, poor little guy. How did he get in there?" Bulma asked.
"You know, back when we finished building the building, I was eating some peanuts and some other nut snacks. I guess the crumbs from those nut snacks must've drawn the attention of that squirrel to come in here." Nijuuichi remembered.
"So, in other words, it was your fault this squirrel almost died." Vegeta deadpanned.
"Hey! Don't make it sound like I'm a murderer of animals or else Fluttershy will never forgive me!" Nijuuichi exclaimed.
"Hey Vegeta, why don't you get that Squirrel to Fluttershy and have her check it up?" Bulma suggested.
"Why do I have to do it?" Vegeta asked.
"Because you're the one who found the squirrel and now you have to be the one to get him the care he needs, and I also think that you need a little distraction from the gravity chamber in it's testing phase." Bulma answered.
"And I think you should at least get to know the girls a bit more like with Rainbow Dash, which by the way cognates on getting yourself a second lover." Nijuuichi added.
Vegeta scoffs, hating the idea of going out and making some close connections with other people instead of doing training today, but he did enjoy being with Bulma and Rainbow Dash and he has admitted that the others in the group aren't exactly boring as they each have their own thing just not his taste per say.
But knowing his wife, she's probably going to think of something to make him go.
"Alright, fine! I'll go take this furry… squirrel to see Fluttershy, just make sure the Gravity Chamber is up and running 100% by the time I get back." Vegeta groaned.
Vegeta walks away from the girls and flew off to find Fluttershy to have her take care of the squirrel.
"Wait a minute, could I just heal the squirrel? I do have Majin Buu's power and I can heal others too." Nijuuichi realized.
"Oh, I guess we should've thought of that." Bulma realized that too.
"Now that I think about it, we don't have any senzu beans either and that's going to be really hard for all of us if we can't heal ourselves fast in a middle of a battle." Bulma stated.
"Maybe we can ask this guardian of the Rainbow Balls if they have any healing items we can use." Nijuuichi said.
"Maybe." Bulma looked up at the sky, wondering what kind of guardian this person is.
(With Fluttershy)
"Okay, little turtle, you are all better and your shell 100% fine. Not a single crack in sight." Fluttershy finished the checkup on the turtle.
Fluttershy was just doing her own thing at the Animal Shelter with checking and caring for the animals there while also helping to get some of the adopted into a new home, there are also some animals that are from the wild and were hurt badly that needed to be taken care of until they are ready to go back living in the wild.
This is the amazing thing Fluttershy loves to do with her life, and she hopes to be a great animal doctor when she does well in college.
"(Come to think of it, didn't Bulma mention that Saiyans are like space monkeys?)" Fluttershy thought asked herself, remembering that talk Bulma shared about what she knows about the Saiyan race.
But it sounded like Bulma doesn't know too much about the Saiyan race and that goes for Goku too since he doesn't remember the Saiyan with hitting his head really hard as a baby. That part leaves her with very concern for the guy.
So, the only guy who truly knows more about the Saiyans is Vegeta himself who was once the prince of the entire civilization.
"Prince Vegeta, it does have a cute ring to it." Fluttershy commented, blushing upon saying that he's cute.
"Oh dear, I wonder what Vegeta would say if he heard me say that?" Fluttershy asked nervously.
"Heard you say what?" Vegeta asked as he walks into the Animal Shelter causing Fluttershy to jump a little.
"Vegeta! What are you doing here?" Fluttershy asked, not expecting to see him here.
"I came here because this little furry creature needs help." Vegeta showed the injured squirrel who is panting hard.
"Oh dear, what happened to the little guy?" Fluttershy asked worry for the squirrel.
During the examination on the squirrel, Vegeta explained about what happened with the Gravity Chamber and the squirrel suddenly being in there because of some little nut crumbs and such.
"How is that you didn't even not notice this cute little thing in here?" Fluttershy asked.
"I was only focus on getting my training to get stronger and making sure that Kakarot doesn't one up me." Vegeta answered.
"Well, maybe you need to open your mind up to doing something than training." Fluttershy advised before giving the squirrel some water to drink.
"You sound like Bulma, and yet she doesn't mind letting me train just as long as I do well with being a father for our son, Trunks." Vegeta mentioned his son.
"What's your son like?" Fluttershy asked curiously.
"Like any other kids, a brat who thinks over his head and gets cocky too much at times, but he is strong to even do Super Saiyan at such a young age and loves the thrill in battle just like any Saiyan." Vegeta explained about Trunks.
"I guess he got that from you." Fluttershy giggled.
But then an idea came into Fluttershy's head, maybe she could finally ask Vegeta more about the Saiyans like their culture and what they like to do other than fighting.
Then her attention went back to the squirrel she was caring for is now back up on its two back feet and running around fast to show that he doesn't feel pain anymore.
"Good boy, it looks like you're a stronger squirrel than I thought." Fluttershy smiled.
"It certainly is, it tries to move within times ten of the gravity even though he couldn't move an inch." Vegeta said, then saw the expression on the squirrel's face being prideful that he's a strong squirrel indeed.
Then the squirrel ran from the table and jumps onto Vegeta's arm going all the way up to his head much to the Saiyan Prince's surprise.
"What is this creature doing?" Vegeta asked.
"Aw, looks like he has taken a liking to you." Fluttershy smiled, finding this moment to be cute.
"If he thinks about making some droppings on my shoulder than he's dead." Vegeta threatened with an energy sphere formed from his hand which scares the squirrel.
"Easy, no need to get extreme with the little guy." Fluttershy said while moving the arm with the energy sphere away from the squirrel.
"Vegeta, you know a lot about the Saiyan race, do you?" Fluttershy asked.
"Of course, I was next in line of the throne to become the King of all Saiyans and being the strongest given that I already surpassed my father as a child." Vegeta stated.
"Do you wish to be the King now? Sounds like you were really looking forward to being the king." Fluttershy asked, feeling concern for Vegeta.
"Honestly, I used to for a while since I lost my planet along with most of my people. But right now, I don't give a damn about the title for all I care about is becoming the strongest Saiyan in the universe!" Vegeta said, not minding the lost of the royal status and such.
"But if you were to be king, then wouldn't you want to do what you can to help your people?" Fluttershy asked.
"I'm not sure if there is a thing to help my former people consider the kind of things we used to live for." Vegeta said, looking down a little.
"Would you mind telling me about it?" Fluttershy asked with a hand on his.
"Are you sure? You might not want to be my friend if you hear about it." Vegeta raised an eyebrow, wondering how this shy girl is being interested in the Saiyan ways.
"It's okay because what happened in the past doesn't matter who you are today, that what makes you such a special guy." Fluttershy smiled with her other hand on his chest.
Vegeta suddenly felt his heart beating fast and his cheeks blushing, the squirrel on his shoulder gave him a smug look as his way of teasing Vegeta that he really like this girl just like the other one he was with earlier in that big dome thing.
"Not a single squeak from you." Vegeta glared at the squirrel.
Vegeta decided to have a talk with Fluttershy about the Saiyan race and how they lived their lives.
"The Saiyans are a proud warrior race that always seek to battle the strongest foes they could meet even if its with each other, but there was a time when we used to share a planet with another rest that were called the Tuffles." Vegeta started explaining about the Saiyans.
"Sharing is nice." Fluttershy commented.
"Until we decided end their lives and kept the planet to ourselves." Vegeta said, making Fluttershy feel hurt and scared at the same time.
"And so, Saiyans started going around the galaxy hunting any strong opponents while seeking out planets to sell on the black market. And we do that by annihilating any intelligent and weak life on those planets." Vegeta explained more.
"Oh dear, I guess you guys do love to enjoy causing destruction yourselves." Fluttershy was surprised.
"We did. In fact, we didn't regret our actions as long as we can fight anything that may seem like a decent challenge, but… that was when Frieza came into play and we became his slaves for him to use however please until years later he decided to just destroy the entire planet with my people after he made the order to call all of us back on Planet Vegeta." Vegeta clutched his fist.
"But if this Frieza guy made the call for all the Saiyans, then where were you at the time?" Fluttershy asked.
"Luckily for me, I ignored the order to go along with a few other Saiyan survivors. But I still had to be under his damn thumb for decades and I dreamt of killing the bastard with my own two hands." Vegeta felt his anger rising from within.
"Were you able to do it?" Fluttershy asked.
"No, Kakarot beat me to the punch, twice. But then the idiot had to recruit him for the Tournament of Power because the stupid pink fat idiot had to take a long nap! But mark my words, if I ever see that Frieza again, I will destroy him so much that he won't be able to be brought back from existence!" Vegeta declared.
"That I do believe, I don't understand why Goku would even let an evil man like him roam freely." Fluttershy said.
"He's an idiot who tries to see the best in others, but he's not a total lost. Just an idiot." Vegeta believed strongly making Fluttershy giggles.
Vegeta chuckles as well then, the two stare at each other for a moment not realizing they are having a little loving moment, but then they do realize this and quickly look away from each other.
The squirrel chuckles upon seeing that both the guy and the girl totally like each other and are too embarrassed to admit it.

This is a little something to show you guys who's going to be the next girl to join Vegeta's harem and it's the adorable and shy we all know as Fluttershy, and it looks like the love spark between them is already happening as they will get closer to each other soon.
