"Ha, I told you there was a bench here," Castle said, holding his wife's hand as he led her through some of the foliage.
"I didn't doubt you, I just thought you were going to have us sit in that pavilion," Beckett replied with a smile before they were looking at the bench.
"To be fair I saw it from behind you know," Castle said.
"I realize that," Beckett said. "We better head back."
"Unless you don't mind staying here," Castle said, keeping her from walking away.
"Not really," Beckett said, letting him lead her a little further from the dirty bench. When they could just see the waters of Mission Bay they stopped and sat on the grass there before she said, "Should we call them now?"
"Let's… give it a little more," Castle told her, looking at his watch. "Not for that," he said swiftly when he saw the way his wife was looking at him.
Beckett couldn't help laughing before she leaned into him and kissed him tenderly on the lips. She wasn't surprised when he stopped her from pulling away and they were kissing again though still lightly. After they had parted she pressed a little closer to him and said, "I hope someone doesn't come to kick us out of here."
"I know, but we're not really bothering anyone," Castle commented. He wasn't surprised when she nodded and he kissed the top of her head before they were watching the water ahead of them. He kept looking at his watch before he said, "I think it's about time."
"It is," Beckett replied before he was getting his phone out.
Dialing his father in law's number, Castle wasn't surprised he was immediately answering and he said, "Hello Julia," since she was on the screen.
"Hi," the teen said before she frowned. "Are you at Sea World still?"
"We are," Beckett said.
"Hi Mom," Julia replied. "Where are you?"
"At a little park area," Beckett answered while her husband was panning the phone around. "There's Mission Bay."
"Cool," Julia said. "Wait, Lizzy's going to knock the phone out of my hands."
"Are you at home?" Beckett asked since she couldn't quite see the background.
"Yeah, we're bowling," Julia replied before she couldn't stop her sister and she was flipping the phone around.
"Hi Mommy, Daddy!" Eliza cried.
"Mama, Dada!" Josie said, trying to reach up to the phone.
"Hello girls," Castle said after he and Beckett had shared a smile. "Let your sister see too Eliza."
"I'll sit," the little girl replied before she was moving to one of the chairs in front of the lanes. Once she was sitting she helped Josie sit next to her and they looked behind them at Julia.
"Hi Josie," Beckett told her. "Are you bowling too?"
"Yeah," the toddler said, nodding her head. She then asked, "Are you at fishies?"
"We are," Castle said. "Not right now but we've been seeing a lot of them."
"What about the rides?" Julia asked.
"Those too," Beckett replied.
"Did you go on all of them?" Eliza asked.
"We did," Castle said with a nod. He looked at his wife and said, "Except for some of the ones for little kids," not surprised when Josie was gasping before she spoke.
"I have ride?" the toddler asked.
"Rides," Eliza whispered to her.
"Riding?" Josie then asked their parents, smiling when they were laughing.
"You do have rides you can go on," Castle said with a nod. "And we'll take you very soon don't worry."
"Do you go to rides," Josie then said carefully.
"We've been on a lot," Castle said. "One roller coaster, a second one, some swings…"
"Dad," Julia said laughing.
"Yes?" Castle asked her.
"I know the names of those roller coasters," Julia said. "Marie and Kath have told me."
"Great, but that's all you get to know," Castle said in a feigned stern tone of voice. He saw Eliza was raising her hand and looked at his wife, not surprised when she was rolling her eyes.
"We'll let you decide once you see them sweetie," Beckett directed to their second youngest. "But as long as you're tall enough then you can go on."
"Thank you," Eliza said, smiling widely. "So… how were the…"
"Presentations," Castle said, knowing she was trying to remember what they'd been told. "And they were great."
"They were, there's only three but you'll enjoy them," Beckett said.
"Which was your favorite?" Eliza asked eagerly.
"We know the three," Julia said. "The orcas, sea lions and dolphins." She smiled at her parents and then said, "Marie and Kath."
"I think we guessed," Beckett replied. "And to be honest they were all great."
"Can you feed anything, touch anything?" Eliza asked hopefully.
"They didn't tell us that," Julia said quickly. She smiled and then said, "But you don't need to tell us."
"We're not going to," Beckett said firmly.
"She's right, behind us and in front of us is all you'll see until we come with you," Castle replied. "Oh that reminds me, there's something we need to discuss about our trip here."
"What?" Julia and Eliza asked at the same time.
"What!" Josie cried, making her sisters jump before they were all giggling together as their parents laughed.
"It's nothing serious," Castle assured them. "I asked your mom if we could try going to Legoland that weekend."
"That would be cool," Julia said.
"There might not be much to do for your age though," Beckett warned her.
"That's okay," Julia said. "I hope."
"We'll all be finding out about it," Castle commented.
"You didn't ask Skye and Mary?" Eliza asked in surprise.
"We did and they told us what they did the last time their daughters had an in-service weekend," Castle replied. "Though they could have told us something about it," not surprised when his wife was just looking at him before he turned back to the screen.
"So should we try and go this time?" Beckett asked. She wasn't surprised when Eliza was saying yes, Josie echoing her before the former was speaking swiftly.
"Where else will we go?" the little girl asked.
"I would wait until we're home to discuss that more," Castle said. He paused and then asked, "Where are your grandparents?"
"I'm here," Jim said from the background. "I didn't want to intrude."
"And Martha?" Beckett said, looking at the background.
"She's with 'lexis and Louis," Julia said. "She wanted to see the twins."
"Are you all behaving for your grandpapa?" Beckett the asked the girls. She wasn't surprised all three were saying yes vociferously before she and Castle calmed them down. "Now you need to tell us what you did today at school."
"Me first?" Eliza asked. She wasn't surprised when her parents nodded and she smiled before she related everything. Stopping where she had gone to dance class she then said, "I have the Valentines ready to pass out tomorrow."
"Good," Beckett said. "In your backpack?"
"Yep," Eliza said, nodding before she realized her baby sister was nodding too. She giggled and then said when she'd calmed down, "Your turn Jules."
"Sure," Julia replied before she then spoke swiftly. She talked about her classes and lunch before she trailed off eventually.
"What's wrong?" Beckett asked.
"Well, it's Dawn and Ava," Julia said. "They want to go on dates without a chaperone so badly they said they were going to go after school to the pizza parlor."
"Do you think they did?" Castle asked, not surprised the two had said that.
"I do," Julia replied. "I hope they don't get in that much trouble."
"Well, if they went to the pizza parlor I really doubt they'd do anything bad," Castle said. "And you're not their parents so let them deal with that with their… parents."
"I'm going to ask them tomorrow Dad," Julia said slightly laughingly. "And I did tell them to be careful… everyone at the table did."
"Good," Beckett said firmly. "How was dance class?" She was smiling as the girls were talking eagerly about their lessons in tap that day and when they finished she said, "Are you sure you two don't want us to call tomorrow?"
"No," Julia and Eliza said at the same time, looking at Josie when she began shaking her head.
"Really," Julia said. "We told you that we don't mind if you wait until Wednesday."
"I think they're serious love," Castle said.
"I know, I just wanted to make sure," Beckett said with a smile. "Alright, then we don't really have anything else to tell you about our day. How was Josie, Dad?"
"She was fine," Jim replied. "She did her lessons, we watched Sesame Street and we played in the game room before her nap."
"Mama," Josie said.
"Yes sweetie?" Beckett asked in amusement.
"Do you play?" Josie said.
"We will," Castle said. "We'll probably go on a ride after this," he added, looking at his wife.
"We will," Beckett said. "Once we talk to everyone at your sister's home."
"So we need to say goodbye," Eliza stated before her father was laughing and responding to her.
"We do, but we'll definitely call on Wednesday," Castle assured her. He and Beckett said goodbye to their daughters and Jim before the screen went off. "I'm not surprised Mother went over there," he told his wife.
"Neither am I," Beckett replied. "But I am the rest haven't gone too."
Nodding Castle said, "I guess they wanted to go bowling," before he dialed his mother's number.
"Hello Richard," Martha said with a smile. "I'm guessing you spoke with Jim first?"
"We did," Castle said. "Though we were going to call Alexis and Louis if they weren't at our place anyway."
"They're here," Martha said, turning her camera since they were on a video call.
"Just finishing dinner," Louis said after he and Alexis had greeted his in laws.
"How're the twins?" Beckett asked.
"Good," Alexis said, taking her grandmother's phone and going to the highchairs at the island. Finn and Emmie were there with some toys and she said, "Say hello to your grandda and grandma."
"I think they're busy right now," Castle said in amusement when the twins' gazes stayed on their toys.
"How's your day been?" Louis asked.
"Are you going to be able to come with us in May?" Beckett asked.
"Yes," Alexis said firmly, looking at her husband who was nodding.
"Good, because you need to come here Louis," Castle said.
"I had a feeling," the vet said slightly laughingly. "Though to be honest I don't have much experience with fish, I'm still looking forward to it. I've always heard of Sea World so I've wanted to see it."
"We should have gone in Orlando," Castle commented.
"It doesn't matter," Beckett replied, squeezing his hand. "We'll come back in May. Though you should tell them about the other plans."
"Oh, right," Castle said quickly. "I had the idea of going to Legoland too while we were here."
"That wouldn't be too bad," Alexis said in amusement since she'd seen the way her husband's eyebrows had momentarily raised.
"You're ready to go?" Beckett asked her son in law.
"I've been to the one in Denmark," Louis explained. "With Da before he married Clara and it was a lot of fun I think I told you."
"You know we never went to the one in Goshen," Beckett told her husband.
"It never worked out," Castle said slowly. "Though we should try going there too after we try this one."
"We'll see how it is for the older kids," Beckett said, smiling at him. She took his hand and then asked, "How was your guys' day?"
"I don't think I have much to say about mine," Martha replied. "We had the twins with us and they behaved very well until we came back to their home."
"The same for us," Louis said. "Though I was able to come home a little earlier than expected."
"I had to finish some paperwork but I managed to get back," Alexis said. "We played with the twins and now we're working on dinner."
"We're about to go on a ride," Castle commented. "In the time we have left before we meet Skye and Mary," he added, looking at his watch before his daughter was asking about that.
"How much longer do you have?" Alexis asked.
"About enough time to go on that ride," Castle said. "We'll call again on Wednesday."
"Enjoy your day tomorrow," Martha said.
"We will," Castle said swiftly. "And keep warm," he added.
"You too," Louis replied.
"We'll see you Wednesday," Alexis said before they were saying goodbye.
After her husband had put his phone away and they had gotten up to head back to the main part of the park Beckett said, "I get the feeling you want to go on a ride we haven't been on already."
"I was thinking about Journey to Atlantis," Castle said honestly. "I don't think they like the ride."
"Not in this weather," Beckett agreed. She looked around and said, "You're lucky no one saw us."
"I'm lucky where we stopped to sit," Castle replied since they'd been right next to the Penguin Encounter as well. When he was sure they were clear he said, "What do you think?"
"I'm willing to try it," Beckett said. "To be honest I wanted to since I wanted to try it for the girls."
Nodding Castle said, "I'm in agreement, let's go." He wasn't surprised when his wife laughed but let him take her hand before they were making their way to the ride. They watched the drop for a moment to check on the splash at the bottom of it and he said, "It looks way better than the Shipwreck ride."
"We should let them go on that one," Beckett said. "If the weather is good enough," she said at the same time as her husband. "I'm not surprised you were thinking of that," she told him in amusement.
"Hard not to," Castle said before he pulled her over to the line. He was a little surprised there was one since the weather was still cool but he and his wife were able to discuss what they wanted to do on Wednesday once they went to Old Town. "You're lucky they love it there as much as they do," he told her eventually when they were nearing the loading platform.
"I think that's their idea too," Beckett said. She smiled when her husband looked at her in obvious confusion before she said, "Skye told me about it when we were alone yesterday before we went to Point Loma."
"That would make sense," Castle replied. He then said, "You know I was wondering if we'd be able to spend the full day there."
"They'd like to," Beckett replied. "Did you have something else in mind?"
"Not really," Castle said. "But the full day?"
"Just lunch and dinner," Beckett said. "Unless again, you have something in mind for dinner?" she asked him.
"We better discuss this after," Castle said swiftly since he'd been keeping his eye on the line in front of them. She nodded in agreement and they moved up to the worker where he asked for the front row of their boat. They needed to wait, but once they were sitting on it he wasn't surprised at his wife's comment she murmured to him teasingly.
"You've been around Skye," Beckett told her husband.
"Too long?" Castle asked, keeping his voice low as she had.
Before she could respond, their boat was starting to move and she smiled as her husband gave a brief wave to the workers on either side of them before they were reaching the lift hill just past the loading platform. While they were heading up she looked around them, seeing the front of the ride to the right and a little of San Diego to the left. When they reached the top of the hill they turned to the right and were soon moving swiftly before she realized they were at the drop.
"Already?" Castle asked jokingly. "I'm not ready-" was all he could add to that as they reached the drop and were speeding down it before water came up to them. "I forgot about that," he said after he and his wife lowered their arms.
"You went on it," Skye called, leaning against the railing with her wife.
"We wanted to try it," Beckett said with a smile.
"At least you don't look too soaked," Skye commented.
"We're fine," Castle said firmly before they were going in a U-turn and facing the drop where they saw the boat after them going down. As they were continuing straight he said, "This is a little deceptive."
"I think that's the point," Beckett said in amusement before they were turning to the right slightly. They went straight before turning to the left, doing so a little more and seeing a tunnel up ahead. Once they entered they were going up slightly onto dry track and heading forward into darkness before something moved ahead of them. She and Castle were looking at each other when the room started to flood before the boat was moving forward and they were in complete darkness. She felt her husband reaching for her hand before the boat was rising and they were laughing when some of the riders were cheering before they saw daylight and realized they'd been brought to the beginning of the roller coaster.
"Here we go," Castle said as he and Beckett let go of each other's hands just as they were moving forward. He yelled at the drop, putting his arms up, and they were going through the short track after that before splashing down into water. As they were floating back to the loading platform he told his wife, "What do you think?"
"Well, I'm a little worried about Eliza and those two drops," Beckett replied.
Nodding briefly Castle said, "We could show her a video of it, see what she thinks."
"I think we'll need to," Beckett said before they were at the loading platform and could get off. Walking into the gift shop she and Castle decided not to get t-shirts there until at least Julia had been on the ride and they moved to continue to the aquarium past that. Watching the rays and fish there, she took some pictures before she said, "At least Josie can watch this. And the boats on the drop," not surprised when her husband was responding quickly to her.
"Hopefully my mother… or your dad won't mind watching that ad nauseum," Castle commented.
"I don't know, the reactions from the riders is always different," a voice said to the writers' left, startling them both. Skye couldn't help smiling at the couple when they looked at her and she said, "You honestly forgot we were here?" speaking teasingly.
"You were at the railing before," Castle said.
"We were waiting for you out there when we remembered the gift shop and this aquarium," Mary said.
"How could you forget this?" Castle couldn't help asking.
"When you've been here as many times as we have?" Skye responded with her own question. They left the aquarium and walked out before she said, "Should we just meet up again?"
"I think so," Beckett said after she'd looked at her father's watch. "We only have a little less than ten minutes."
"Okay, so what's the verdict about this ride?" Mary asked while they were walking back towards the penguins.
"Julia can go on it," Castle replied. "But we're a little worried about the part before the elevator."
Nodding Skye said, "We showed Marie and Kath a video of the ride when they got to the right height for this."
"They still went on it?" Beckett asked.
"Of course," Skye said, glancing at Mary.
"I didn't go on it, but the girls had a… little disagreement about who would ride with their mum," Mary explained.
"And who did?" Castle said.
"Neither," Skye replied. She smiled when the writers looked surprised and she said, "I told them one of them was going to go without someone and I couldn't do that to them."
"I told them I would go, but they protested," Mary began. Making a brief face she then said, "Vigorously but in the end I had to tell them I wouldn't."
"They were aware of how she was with more intense rides," Skye said. "But they agreed to go together and though the drops startled them, they enjoyed it a lot."
"How old were they?" Beckett asked.
"It wasn't too long ago," Skye replied with a smile. "In 2019 so they were going to turn nine. Your daughter is taller."
"We expected that," Castle said. "It's funny, she and Eliza were the same height at their seventh birthdays… I wonder if they will again at Eliza's eighth."
"We'll find out," Beckett said before she stopped and made the others do so too. "Where are we going exactly?" she asked the McDouglases.
"To be honest I was going to lead us to where Mary and I were headed before we stopped to watch Atlantis," Skye said. "The penguins and then to walk over to Sea Lion Point. Unless you two want to go somewhere else."
"No," Castle said. "I have no problems with that… are you going to feed them?" he added in slight hesitation.
"No," Mary said with a laugh before the writer was speaking while he was looking at the time on his watch.
"Do we have enough time to go around one more time?" Castle asked.
"We do," Skye replied. "Maybe even for the rides as well but we'll have to see as we go."
Beckett bit back her laughter at her husband's gesture for Skye to lead them before they were walking with the McDouglases again. She took her husband's hand again once they had and squeezed it before he was raising it to his lips, kissing the back of it briefly as Skye and Mary were asking them about the rides.
"Everything okay?" Beckett asked, walking over to her friend.
"Yeah," Skye replied with a smile. She then said, "Just looking at your view."
"You do have a nice one too," Beckett told her.
"I'm not jealous," Skye reassured her. "But I hope the food'll get here soon."
"It will," Castle said, walking over with Mary. "We're finished," he then told his wife.
"I told you, you didn't need to set the table," Beckett replied in amusement. "We are having pizza."
"I didn't mind," Castle said with a shrug.
"Neither did I," Mary added. "Since it's just plates and napkins it was easy."
"You two aren't tired?" Castle then asked.
"Oh no, with five you learn how to conserve your energy," Skye said first.
"She's right," Mary said laughingly. "Though even with three you should know by now."
"We don't go to the places that you've been," Castle said.
"We do the same as you," Beckett said. "And you two are sure about pizzas."
"Yeah, been craving it actually," Skye said rapidly. She smiled when her wife and Beckett began to laugh and then said, "Though I am serious."
"She's right, we haven't had it for a while," Mary said. "Though I'm looking forward to a taco and enchilada."
"Are we eating at the usual place?" Castle asked them.
"Unless you two want somewhere else," Skye commented.
"No, I'm just wondering what we'll do for dinner," Castle said, startled when the investigator seemed to perk up at that. "You're… eager?"
"No," Skye said, breathing out a laugh. "Do you have an idea?"
"Not really, I just wasn't sure about Mexican twice in the same day," Castle said. "Did you?"
"I didn't," Skye said, looking at her wife and Beckett.
"I haven't-" the two women were beginning to say at the same time. They stopped themselves and shared a look before they were laughing with their spouses.
"I didn't really think of dinner," Beckett said eventually. "Though is there much we can get? We have had a lot of different cuisines."
"The same for me," Mary said. "Though I wonder if we should end where we started."
"Here?" Skye asked, motioning outside the hotel. When her wife nodded she said, "Interesting idea." She then turned to the writers and said, "Maybe you two should choose."
"Is that Greek place still there?" Beckett asked. When the investigator nodded she was about to speak when her friend was first and doing so rapidly.
"It would be something different," Skye said. "And I know the perfect place to eat."
"The end of that one pier?" Mary asked. When her wife nodded she frowned and said, "I don't know grá, it's a little dirty."
"True," Skye said, pursing her lips for a moment. "Then I suppose we'll just have to eat there or around there."
"Speaking of eating," Castle said, looking at his watch.
"Wait," Skye said. "Do you two mind going back to Seaport Village again?"
"No," Beckett said, just when there was a knock on the door.
"Good timing," Skye said with a smile before they watched Castle leaving to open the door. She looked around and then said, "Do we really need to eat at that table?"
"No," Beckett said. "But please be careful."
"Do you think I really want to get someone else's suite dirty?" Skye asked, her eyebrow raised.
"No," Beckett said with a smile before they were looking at her husband while he entered with an employee. After they were alone again she said to him, "Skye-"
"Wants to eat in here," Castle said swiftly. "I could hear. And that's fine, we left the plates and napkins in a stack."
"Which was why it didn't take long to set the table," Mary said with a smile before she was heading to it. She got everything and said, "We don't have any drinks."
"We do, they're in the entry if you can help me," Castle said. He wasn't surprised when his wife was getting up from the couch and they walked over to the door before he said, "I hope you don't mind my choice."
"Choice?" Beckett asked before she was looking at where the drinks were sitting.
"Agua fresca, awesome," Skye said, smiling when the writers jumped. "Sorry, I thought you should have some help. Namely let me take my wife's drink. Though I do have to ask-"
"I got mango for all of us," Castle interrupted. "It was the safest choice."
"Good one," Skye said simply, picking up two of the cups before she was turning away and leaving them in the entry.
Reaching for his wife, Castle turned her gently to face him and he said, "I can get more tomorrow."
"See if we enjoy it," Beckett said with a smile before her husband was leaning into her lips for a tender kiss before they made their way back to their guests with their drinks.
"I think I'm quite tired grá," Skye told her wife while she was taking off her robe before she was responding with a smile.
"You think?" Mary asked.
"It was a lot of walking," Skye replied.
"It was," Mary said. "But I enjoyed it."
"Oh don't get me wrong," Skye was quick to say. "I did too."
"Since you had others to go on rides with you," Mary said, climbing onto the bed and sitting back against her pillows.
"We did manage to go on Manta three times," Skye commented.
"And I did enjoy it," Mary assured her.
"Sort of," Skye said teasingly.
"Sort of," Mary echoed. She smiled when her wife laughed and then leaned into her, kissing her tenderly on the lips before she said, "Not much longer."
"No, though I hate to admit it, sleeping we'll get to that sooner," Skye commented. When her wife nodded she sighed and then said, "Alright grá." She then took off her glasses and put them on the nightstand, keeping them close for the next morning. She turned off her light and a moment later her wife was doing the same behind her before they were laying down.
Pressing against her wife's side, Mary moved to share a kiss with her before she said, "I love you Skye."
"Love you too," the investigator replied. She smiled and said, "Good night."
"Night," Mary said, smiling herself since she was aware they were both wondering how long it would take them to fall asleep in their eagerness for the next day.
Closing her eyes once they were fully settled, Skye would be startled when she awoke the next morning that it didn't take very long for her to sleep. She was also startled when she was awoken on Valentine's Day by her wife's kiss to her jaw and whisper of her name. "It's morning?" she asked a little thickly.
"It is, should I open the shades?" Mary asked. At the nod of her wife's head she kissed her cheek and then moved to do so.
Blinking, Skye was sitting up by the time her wife had finished and she put on her glasses saying, "That was surprising."
"That I woke up first?" Mary asked, walking back to the bed where her wife was sitting up.
Shaking her head Skye said, "I fell asleep… quickly. I know I said I was tired last night but…"
"Me too," Mary said with a smile. "Are you ready for breakfast?"
"I am," Skye replied, getting off the mattress. "I'm glad you thought of not ordering that this morning, I didn't want to get dressed until lunch at the very least."
Nodding in agreement Mary said, "Neither do I." After they had their robes on they left their bedroom and moved into the living room before her wife was going into the kitchen. "How does everything look?" she asked, standing in the doorway to it.
"Great, cold but edible which is the main thing," Skye said. She handed her wife the bottle of pineapple juice they'd gotten for the trip and they moved to the dining room table where they sat. She watched her wife pouring out the juice as soon as she finished she took her hand and leaned into her saying, "Happy Valentine's Day grá."
Echoing her wife with a smile, Mary leaned into her and they were kissing tenderly before they slowly parted and turned their attention to their food. They ate quietly, watching their view of San Diego Bay, before she said, "We have a lot of real estate right now."
"You don't want to start out in the bed?" Skye couldn't help asking in amusement.
"Oh I do, I'm just saying after that… or when we need to give the bed a break," Mary replied before she was smiling when her wife began to laugh before she spoke.
"Why am I not surprised you said that?" Skye said. "But you make a good point." She looked around the living room and asked, "What did you have in mind?"
"Let's wait until we're at that point," Mary said, smiling since she wasn't surprised at her wife's question. She looked at her wife's napkin and said, "Are you finished?"
"We both are," Skye replied before they were getting up and clearing the table. After they had finished they moved to their bathroom, brushing their teeth and meeting at their bed. She was about to speak when she paused and then reached for her wife, pulling her to her and kissing her as deeply as she could. Feeling Mary's arms wrapping around her she was pleased they were rubbing their tongues across each other's before she realized she was becoming more and more uncomfortable. "Grá, wait," she said hurriedly, pulling back. "We need to…"
"I know," Mary replied rapidly before they were kissing tenderly. After they'd parted again they began to undress each other carefully before they were getting back onto the bed. She wasn't surprised to find herself on her back and she smiled at her wife saying, "Don't take too long."
Shaking her head, Skye wasn't surprised at her wife's startled look and she leaned down to her so she could kiss her. They slowly pulled away from each other and she said with a smile, "I'm not going straight to that."
"Okay," Mary said, not surprised her wife was smiling at her swift answer. She raised her head and brushed Skye's lips with hers before lowering it. Pleased when her wife was immediately following, she was ready for the kiss the investigator was giving her shortly after. She wasn't surprised it was passionate and they were holding onto each other tightly until they stopped to get their breath back. Smiling she said, "Now?" She was startled when Skye merely smiled back at her before moving down to her neck and kissing gently at it before she slid lower.
Reaching her wife's breasts, Skye raised her head, looking down at them for a moment before she was leaning down again. She pressed a gentle kiss to the mound to the right and then did the same to the other. Hearing her wife's soft gasps she made her way to Mary's nipples, kissing them at first before she parted her lips and allowed herself to suck. Feeling her wife holding onto her tighter, she sucked a little harder before she carefully pulled back and told her, "Good?"
"Yes, a little more… please," Mary couldn't help begging. She wasn't surprised when her wife was immediately complying, but she also added kissing again and blowing on her dampened skin. She was shaking in her joy at the sensations before Skye was pulling away, "Grá-" she couldn't help saying in disappointment.
"Don't worry," was all that Skye told her wife though she kept her tone reassuring. She then moved again, peppering her wife's torso with kisses until she was at her sex. She raised her head for a moment to stare at Mary unabashedly before she was moving down again. When her wife jerked slightly against her lips she tried not to smile, but once she had calmed down she continued, moving from her swollen clit to her entrance. Pausing there, she pulled away and said, "That was all I needed," not surprised when her wife's reaction was slightly indignant.
"All? Are you-" Mary started to say before her wife was kissing her hard. Though she had wanted to finish, she decided it didn't matter that much and was responding eagerly until they were slowly parting. "I hope that wasn't all," she said firmly. As soon as Skye shook her head she found she had the strength to flip her wife onto her back, delighting in the gasp she'd made before she said, "It isn't for me." She kissed her wife sensuously at first before she was slowly pulling away and then moving down to her collarbone, nipping at it and moving to her breasts. She repeated a little of the same actions her wife had done to her own mounds until she was sliding her lips in a straight line down her body before she was at the slight mound of flesh between her wife's legs.
Crying out in joy at her wife's tongue coming into play a little here and there, Skye was afraid she would have to stop her before Mary was pulling away. "Thank you," she said in relief.
"It came to me why you stopped like you did," the doctor explained, pushing herself up a little more. "Though we have an… issue I think you want to call it."
"We do," Skye said, pushing herself up on her elbows. They were kissing lightly and she said, "Though I did have the idea first."
"Unless we duel for it," Mary said.
"We haven't done that in ages," Skye protested though she didn't have much force in her tone.
"All the more reason to try it," Mary said easily. She smiled when her wife shuddered in pleasure and then asked, "Timer or until we're tired of it."
"Timer, we hated the other option I thought," Skye said. "Or I thought you did since I'm more able to hold you down."
Smirking Mary said, "Timer it is," before she was getting off her wife and moving to her nightstand. She gasped when her wife was moving after her and she felt her lips on her ass before there was a slap. "Oh… don't do that again," she teased her. "It's cheating."
"Not really," Skye said. "How long?"
"Just thirty seconds," Mary replied, setting it aside before she turned to her wife. She called to her phone, beginning the time, before she pinned her wife to the bed while she was laughing.
Her wife and Skye spent those thirty second flipping each other around and fondling one another until the buzzer for the time sounded and she was above Mary. "Give?" she teased.
"Just start," the doctor said, sounding a little tense. "I don't think I can wait for that much longer."
"Neither can I," Skye said seriously. She leaned down and kissed her wife while she was shifting the position of her legs. Moving her hips down until she could feel their skin touching and the moistness a moment later, making them grasp each other tightly. "I love you," she said seriously after she had stared into her wife's eyes.
"I love you Rose," Mary said in the same tone.
Leaning down to her wife, Skye was kissing her deeply before she proceeded to move, initiating their lovemaking that holiday morning.
Locking the door after the McDouglas women Castle said, "Dinner was good."
Beckett smiled and said, "I told you I didn't mind. I wouldn't lie about that."
"We haven't had Chinese in some way for a while," Castle told her.
Shrugging Beckett said, "I don't mind. We can have it back at home too." When he nodded she smiled again and reached for her husband's hand telling him, "Let's get ready for bed," not surprised at his immediate reaction.
"Do we honestly have to?" Castle asked.
"You want to wake up closer to lunch?" Beckett responded with her own question. She couldn't help laughing briefly when he was looking at his watch and she told him, "I just said get ready."
"That's true," Castle replied before an idea came to him. "Could we sit on the couch for a little?"
"Sure," Beckett replied. She laughed again when he pulled her with him and they walked together to their room. Letting each other go at their bed they were changing quickly before brushing their teeth. She brushed her hair that time, needing to since she'd had it pulled back and braided that day.
"You looked beautiful," Castle told his wife seriously. He then realized he'd told her that before and said, "Still do."
Beckett smiled at him and then said, "The same for you, but be careful."
"Oh I know, after we managed to stay calm earlier," Castle said before she was finishing and walking up to him.
"Or is it that you were nervous about us being caught?" Beckett asked as she wrapped her arms around him. She was smiling still when he pretended to think that over before he was suddenly picking her up and making her cry out in shock. "So is that a no?" she asked him teasingly.
"To be honest I knew it wasn't the best place to do much," Castle said. "Except for that video call."
"I'm glad we agree," Beckett said with a soft laugh before he was setting her down. She sat on the couch first, leaning against the side while her husband was joining her. Once he was sitting fully she stretched her legs over his lap and said, "But tomorrow…"
"Yes?" Castle asked her as he reached over to take her hand.
"If you're up first… and I'm assuming you're going to be," Beckett said with a smile. "Can you order breakfast."
"I was planning on doing that," Castle said, nodding his head.
"Were you thinking of getting fruit?" Beckett then asked. At his second nod she then said, "Do you mind if we wait until lunch to get that?"
"No, but… could I ask why?" Castle said.
"I would just like to… make love," Beckett said though she heisted for a moment. She then smiled when her husband's eyes were widening slightly in surprise and explained, "I don't want to waste too much time."
"I can understand that," Castle replied seriously. He scooted over closer to her so he could raise her hand to his lips, kissing the back of it gently. "Because I'm thinking the same. And if I'm awake before you, I'll definitely have everything ready." When she nodded he said, "Do you want anything special tomorrow?"
"Our books," Beckett said. "I feel like we haven't used them in a while."
"We haven't," Castle said. "Though we've said that before and never got around to them."
"Keep your phone close," Beckett replied with a smile. She then grew serious, since her husband had forced her slippers off her feet and was rubbing them gently through her socks and said, "Are you okay right now?"
"I am," Castle replied. He paused and then asked, "Are we talking sexually or walking all day?"
"The latter," Beckett replied with a slight smile, not surprised when he was responding quickly.
"I'm good, I mean I thought you might need a little massage so…" Castle said.
"You just wanted to do it," Beckett replied.
"So I should stop?" Castle asked.
"No," Beckett said simply before she was moving towards him. Once she was sitting on her husband's lap she wrapped her arms around him before they were kissing, a little amused he moved towards her at the same time. But she was soon distracted by his tongue pressing to her lips before she was parting them and she couldn't help herself, sliding her fingers through his hair.
Jerking slightly against his wife at her touch, Castle did his best not to pull away from her lips though it was close. Since he could remain he lingered a little longer and then pulled away telling her, "I… I'm in a little trouble."
"I can tell," Beckett replied before she got off of him. "Are you sure it's only a little?"
"I am," Castle said firmly. He wrapped his arm around her and they looked outside for a while before he told her, "I guess we'll have to go to bed soon."
"Not really, I just can't sit there again," Beckett said. She smiled when he was nodding seriously and she leaned against him before she said, "Why don't we; since we have the time; look at Legoland a little more thoroughly this time?"
"Sure," Castle said, getting up.
"Where-" Beckett said with a frown while she was watching him.
"I left it next to my sink," Castle explained.
"I have my phone you know," Beckett said in amusement as she turned to watch him.
"Yeah but I'll need it for tomorrow morning," Castle replied, hurrying over to his bathroom.
Waiting for him, Beckett watched once he walked back out and said, "You already started didn't you?"
"I did… though is it wrong I went through Wikipedia?" Castle asked.
"Not really," Beckett said. "They list the rides right?"
"Yeah… defunct ones too," Castle said while he was reading the page. When she was suddenly in front of him he said, "Was I about to walk into the couch?"
"Into me," Beckett replied with a smile. "What do you have?"
"Let's sit here," Castle said, leading her around the couch so their view was outside again. "So I went straight to the areas and there are descriptions."
"And?" Beckett asked.
"I have no idea," Castle said. "I didn't have a chance to look."
"What's first?" Beckett asked with a smile.
"Looks like Explorer Island," Castle said. "A roller coaster… boat ride and safari ride. Are we wrong for bringing Julia to this?"
"We need to go over this with her," Beckett said in amusement before he was nodding. "Again, she knows how the park is."
"So Atlantis and Legoland," Castle said slowly. "By the way, I'm really glad Josie has rides at Sea World."
"Me too," Beckett said, squeezing his hand. "But let's keep going with these rides." She wasn't surprised when her husband was nodding before he scrolled down and she said, "She can drive a car."
"Should we let her?" Castle asked.
"If we're going at the end of May she will be three," Beckett pointed out, since the ages were three to five for that.
"True," Castle said. "Something police themed," he said, reading the next ride.
"I saw," Beckett said in amusement. She looked on while he continued to scroll before he finished and then said, "It looks like it'll be fun."
"I still worry a little about Julia," Castle said. "But I think there's enough… I mean that Lego world thing alone…"
"You're just saying that because they have the city there," Beckett told him teasingly. She laughed softly when he raised and lowered his eyebrows a few times before she cupped his cheek and pulled him to her.
They kissed tenderly, lingering a little, before they were parting and Castle pressed his forehead to hers murmuring, "I love you Kate."
"I love you too," Beckett replied before she was initiating another kiss. After they parted again she told him, "Come on, not much longer." When he nodded they got up and went to the bed, kissing one more time before they focused on going to sleep in anticipation for their day spent entirely alone in their suite.
