Naminé was sitting on her bed, humming softly to herself and drawing away on her sketchpad - when she heard a noise coming from outside her house.

The blonde's ears perked up as she lifted her gaze, an astonished look crossing her face. She turned her gaze towards her bedroom window. It was sealed shut with the curtains drawn across it, but that didn't stop the sound reaching her from outside.

A soft gasp escaped Naminé as she realised what the noise was.

It was the sound of music being played on a certain instrument - while accompanied by a voice she knew only too well.

"It can't be!" Naminé murmured, realising what happened to be going on outside her home. "Can it?"

Knowing she had to see it to believe it, Naminé jumped off her bed to draw back her curtains. She lifted her window open before peering out into the street.

At once, her face lit up when she saw who it was that was singing and making music in front of her house.

"Roxas?!"

Roxas grinned broadly when he saw the blonde girl appear at her window. He was stood on the doorstep of his house which he shared with Axel. Living directly opposite Naminé on the other side of the street meant he hadn't needed to go far to do what he was up to that evening.

A large, acoustic guitar was hanging from Roxas shoulders. He was strumming away on it, filling the evening atmosphere of Twilight Town with music - as he sung passionately aloud to the girl he loved.

With a warm smile filling her face, Naminé pulled up a chair and sat down for the music concert that was being put on just for her. She folded her arms on the window sill to rest her head comfortably upon them, gazing down at Roxas with twirling blue eyes, enjoying the romantic songs that were being sung to her by the love of her life.

Roxas spent the next hours playing the guitar while singing to Naminé from his doorstep. His voice strained from how much he was stretching his vocal cords while his fingers throbbed from all the strumming he did on the strings. He wasn't the slightest bit bothered. He had already gone through a lot of sore throats and aching fingertips with all the practicing he'd done for this moment. His performance had to be perfect for the girl who was most precious to him.

It was getting late by the time Roxas was nearing the end of his show. He held out his voice as long as he could to complete his final song before plucking the strings to let out the last few notes on his guitar.

Up in her bedroom, Naminé clapped her hands, still smiling down towards the boy from her window.

"Thank you, Roxas," she said gratefully. "That was such a wonderful show. I appreciate you singing and playing all those songs just for me."

Roxas bowed on his doorstep. He was very pleased he'd succeeded to entertain his girlfriend.

"I'll see you tomorrow. Goodnight, my handsome singer."

With that, Naminé blew a kiss sweetly towards Roxas. She pulled the window down to close it up, then drew her bedroom curtains to vanish from view.

"Wait!" Roxas cried, standing up straight again. "Hold on, Naminé! I'm just about to do my encore for you!"

With that, Roxas strummed away on his guitar again. He was just playing the beginning of the first song he'd sung that evening, as well as starting to sing the opening lines - when the curtains drew back and the window slid open.

It wasn't the window which Naminé had just been sitting at.

It wasn't even a window on the girl's house.

This window, which a certain someone was standing at and peering down towards the singing Nobody - was on Roxas' house…

"SHUT UP, ROXAS!"

Roxas jumped, his singing and strumming thrown off by the angry voice which had bellowed at him from above. He looked up to see Axel standing at the upstairs window - before yelling out as the red-haired Nobody emptied a bucket of cold water all over the blonde boy.

"Some of us are trying to sleep around here!" Axel pointed to the nightcap which he was wearing on his head. "Got it memorised?!"

As Axel slammed the window shut before pulling the curtains to disappear from sight, Roxas stood in the puddle that was forming around him on the doorstep. Water dripped from his hair and clothes. He clenched his teeth from how cold he was - as well as how irritated he was by what had just happened to him.

Roxas wasn't eager to go back inside the house to join Axel. He wished he could cross over the street to join Naminé in her home.

At least his girlfriend appreciated his singing - even if his best friend did not!
