Chapter 10: Jason vs Natsu

Let it be known; I do not own Fairy Tail nor Pokémon which fully belong to there rightful owners. The only thing I own is my OC and this stories plotline.

"Someone speaking"

'Someone thinking'

"Someone with power talking/Someone using Moves or Magic"

*Someone doing something*

(Comedy effect)

(When I'm talking)

(Speaking through their minds)

- Pokémon speech-

(Last chapter the group filled Makarov in about what led up to their meeting in Clover Town. Due to the train tracks being destroyed, the members of Fairy Tail had to walk back on foot. After foolishly listening to Happy, they ended up lost in a canyon and ran out of food. They were lucky enough to stumble upon a village… however, it was empty. After a bit of searching, a Magic Circle activated in the village, turning everything into monsters! That they couldn't eat unfortunately. While they were killing lots of monsters, the circle began to self-destruct! That is until something erased it in a bright light (side-eye's Master Makarov). The villagers, which turned out to be a Dark Guild village, were freed and due to the experience, agreed to disband their Guild. Thus, the group continued their way home. Except things might not be so good when they get back.)

(Insert Snow Fairy opening here)

(Jason's PoV)

After walking a few more days we finally made it back to Magnolia Town and the Guild. During that time, I told Master about the berries I had and the medicine that I could make for the Pokémon with them. He already guessed what I wanted to ask him and told me that he knew of a good spot of land that Fairy Tail owned to grow the berry trees. When we walked inside the Guild, everyone swarmed us! They demanded to know what happened and what took us so long to get back. Apparently Alzack and Bisca went out looking for us but was forced to stop when they followed our trail to Web Valley. We started telling them everything after getting lots of food and drinks. My team was happy to get some food as well seeing as how I ran out of food for them. While they knew Eisnwald was involved because of the newspaper that came out discussing the event up till the Oshibana train station, everyone was surprised to learn that Eisnwald had got their hands on Death Magic, (which reminded me to study the kinds of magic they have here) and that it turned into a demon made by Zeref. It also said that everyone in Eisnwald was taken into custody, all but Erigor. Turns out that he vanished where me and Natsu left him after beating his ass before they could arrest him. Everyone then went on to praising me for taking it out, with Mirajane giving me a kiss on the check as a reward. That caused some of the guys to chuckle and tease me due to my blushing face. Though a little threat about Tempest still being hungry shut them right up. Afterwards Master gave our group some days off to reenergize ourselves, which was fine by me. This gave me time to set up my new berry garden and studying. For magic there's some good, some weird and others that are so dangerous that they've been banned from ever being used, like the Alive magic from the village in Web Valley. Seriously who uses a magic called Tear Magic anyways?

(In the future)

A guy wearing a dog costume sneezes.

(Back to the present)

Eh, whatever. I also looked up the government system. Turns out the highest authority is a king who is a fan of wizards. Plus, he deeply cares for his people. I'm already liking this guy.

It's been four days since then and I for one am looking forward to getting back out there. I had just walked into the Guild after my morning training with the team, giving greetings to everyone that I passed on my way to the bar and took a seat.

"You seem chipper this morning." Cana spoke up from her usual spot with a smirk. "Have any interesting dreams last night?"

"Wouldn't you like to know." I said with an eyeroll. "If anyone would have those kinds of dreams, it would be you Ms. Alcoholic."

"Whatever." Cana waved off my remark as she just proved my point by drinking more wine out of a bottle that she had. "So what have you got planned?"

"I'm actually thinking about going to try and find some of the Plates." I answered. "Since I can sense them to a degree if I'm close, finding them will be easier."

"That's true." Cana agreed with a nod.

Before anymore could be said, the doors slammed open.

"JAY!" Natsu yelled. "YOU BETTER BE IN HERE!"

"AYE!" Happy yelled as well.

"Geez dude I'm right here!" I said while waving my hand in the air. "Don't you think it's to early to be shouting?"

"Forget that!" Natsu said as he ran up to me. "I've been waiting five days! That's more then enough time!"

"For… what?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"What do you mean for what?" Natsu asked back. "For our agreement, remember?"

Before I could ask him what he's going on about, Mimi popped out of her Ball and materialized on the countertop.

"What's up Mimi?" I asked her.

Mimi began to shadowbox in Natsu's direction. Mimi doesn't really talk all that much, so I had to learn through her body language. After a bit it finally clicked.

"Oh right!" I exclaimed. "You wanted to have a match when we got back! Totally forgot."

Everyone that was in the Guild Hall turned in our direction upon hearing that, fully interested.

"That's right!" Natsu said with a grin. "So let's do this!"

Soon the members of Fairy Tail were gathered in front of the Guild, giving plenty of space for the two of us to fight. I even let the rest of my Pokémon out so they could watch, much to their excitement. Anyone who wasn't there yet was quickly found and told by a member who was. People were cheering us on, more so for Natsu then me though.

"Get 'em!"

"Fight, Natsu!"

"Jay!"

"W-Wait, they were serious?" Lucy asked in shock when she arrived due to Gray telling her.

"Oh! Hi, Lucy!" Mirajane greeted the blonde.

"Serious as can be!" Elfman said. "If they didn't take this seriously, they couldn't call themselves men!"

"But if two of the people in the strongest team clash…" Lucy said worried.

"Strongest team?" Gray asked. "What are you talking about?"

"You, Jay, Natsu and Erza, duh!" Lucy said. "You're the top four in Fairy Tail, right?"

"Huh? That's just dumb." Gray said. "Who told you that?"

Mira was smiling until she started crying.

"Oh, it was Mira-chan…" Gray said, feeling guilty.

"You made her cry!" Lucy scolded.

"Way to go, idiot!" Kroko snapped.

"How could you say such a thing!" Frost scolded.

Angel smacked him upside the back of his head with a feeler.

If it wasn't obvious, my team has grown quite fond of Mira.

"I do recognize Jason's, Natsu's and Gray's manly spirit." Elfman said. "But I wouldn't go calling them the strongest. There's a ton stronger people in Fairy Tail. Like me, for example!"

"Yeah, sure Elf." Alpha snickered. "Whatever you say man."

"He's not wrong." Levy said as she was holding Mimi. "Take Erza for example. She's probably the strongest woman in the Guild."

"If you're talking about the strongest man, it's probably Mystogan or Laxus." Jet said.

"Mystogan? Laxus?" Scarlet asked.

"Who are they?" Kyra asked.

"Mystogan is someone you'd be lucky to meet." Droy said. "Laxus on the other hand is someone you'll wish you didn't meet."

The Pokémon look at one another.

-Sounds like this Laxus is someone that's a handful.- Nightwing said.

-And one that looks down on others too.- AppleJack said.

-Arrogant to boot.- Tone said.

-Jason isn't going to like him when they meet.- Hime said worried.

-Yup! They're definitely gonna be at each others throats.- Venom nodded.

"I just thought that Jay, Natsu, Gray and Erza worked the best together!" Mirajane said still crying.

"Oh? Weren't you saying how you were always worried Gray and Natsu would fight without Erza around?" Lucy asked.

"Regardless, I think this will be an interesting battle." Elfman said excited.

"Really? I expect Jay to win easily." Gray said.

"Damn right he will." Scala said.

"Yes, I wouldn't be surprised if he already has a plan." Fuu agreed.

Me and Natsu were staring at each other.

"Gonna be honest, I was actually looking forward to this." I said with a smile. "Just that with everything that happened, it slipped my mind."

"Yeah I don't blame ya." Natsu said. "It was pretty crazy there."

"I don't plan on holding back." I said with a smirk as my body glowed. "Multitype: Water Form!"

Soon I was in my water form for all to see.

"So, Jason decided to go with water." Erza observed.

"Pretty smart choice there!" Makarov said. "Natsu's fire won't be as effective."

Over to Happy, he was staring at the fighters.

"Yeah, I'll be betting on Jay after all. That okay?" Happy asked Cana, who had set up a betting booth.

All it really was is a chalkboard and a bin for people to place their jewels in. The board had mine and Natsu odds on it. It was pretty much ratioed 1:3 for Natsu.

"Same for me!" Striker said cheerfully as he held up some money.

"What a heartless cat!" Lucy gasped.

She turned back to the fight.

"I don't like this sort of thing!" she whined. "I don't want either one to lose!"

"You're unexpectedly innocent, aren't you?" Gray asked.

"Water Form, huh? In that case, guess I have to go full power, no holding back!" Natsu smirked as his fists lit on fire and got into a stance.

"It doesn't matter if you go full power, because…" I said while taping the side of my head. "I have the winning strategy!"

The two of us wait for the signal to start.

"Begin!" Master called out.

Immediately Natsu rushes me for a punch, but I jump over him to dodge. This gives me the chance to begin my plan as I put my hands towards Natsu.

"Water Sport!" I announced.

A ball of water shot out of my hands hitting Natsu which drenched us both. Natsu looked down at himself in confusion.

"What the heck was that suppose to do?" he asked.

Instead of answering him, I just did the "Come on" gesture with a smirk.

Over by Erza and Master, Striker had taken a spot beside them to watch after placing his wager.

"So that's your plan, J-man." the rabbit chuckled. "Smart thinking buddy."

"Do you know what he's doing?" Erza asked, looking at him.

"Just watch. You're about to find out." Striker said.

Master paid close attention after hearing that.

Natsu decided to go for another punch, but this time I blocked it with my arm and caused me to slide back a bit. Peeking at Natsu, the pink-haired boy was staring at his fist in shock and confusion.

"Natsu landed the fist hit!" Macao cheered.

"But didn't it seem like Jay let him get the hit in?" Wakaba asked.

"Maybe there's a reason he did so." Laki guessed. "Look at Natsu."

"Why did it feel like my attack was weaker?" Natsu muttered to himself.

"Already noticed, did you?" I asked him.

Natsu looked up at me.

"Water Sport isn't a damage attack, it's more of a… debuff." I clarified.

"A debuff?" Natsu asked.

"I've heard of magic spells that raise your states but lowering them…" Gray said.

"Don't worry, you're not weaker. Well physically that is." I said. "All I did was weaken your fire spells by 50% for a while or until our little battle is done."

"You did what?!" Natsu yelled in shock. "What does that mean exactly?"

"It means your "fire power" is at half strength." I answered.

"NO WAY!" Natsu yelled again.

Everyone else except my Pokémon were the same.

"So that's what he did!" Erza said surprised.

"That was indeed a cleaver move." Makarov said. 'And it was a cleaver move on my part to bet on Jay, hehe!'

"Oh he's not done yet." Striker smirked.

"So what if I can only hit you with half strength! I'm still winning this thing!" Natsu smirked.

"You sure about that?" I asked as I raised my hand to the sky.

Everyone was confused at my actions. Natsu however didn't want to take any chances, so he came at me with a flaming spin kick. I activated Razor Shell to block his attack, then counter attacking but Natsu dodged. Thus, giving me time to set up the field.

"Rain Dance!" I yelled.

"Dance?" Vijeeter asked.

Before anyone could ask anything else, it began to rain.

"Huh? What going on?" Lucy asked.

Everyone was confused because it was only raining in the space where me and Natsu were fighting.

"He actually made it rain?" R.M asked.

"And just like that, another 50% off your fire." I said.

"You lowered my fire attacks again?!" Natsu exclaimed.

"Not only that, but any water attacks get the same amount of boost." I said with a smirk.

"So now Natsu's power in practically zero and Jason gets a boost in power!" Erza said. "He made the perfect strategy against a fire mage!"

"A truly genius plan!" Makarov said. "The First Master would have been impressed if she saw this!"

What nobody knew, not even the Pokémon, was that someone was sitting on top of the Guild watching the fight. This person was greatly impressed by what Jay did and was smiling at the young man.

"And finally! The finishing touch, Aqua Ring!" I yelled as multiple rings circled around me in different directions.

"What did that do?! Weaken my fire more?!" Natsu guessed.

"No it didn't." I assured him.

"Oh thank goodness." he sighed in relief.

"It heals me a little bit ever time I take damage." I informed. "Which is increased while it's raining."

"EEHHHHH?!" Everyone but my team (as well as the mysterious person that I didn't know was there) cried out in shock.

"So any time Natsu lands a hit on Jay, not only will it do little to nothing but he'll just heal it?!" Gray asked in shock.

"That's insane!" Elfman exclaimed.

"And ingenious!" Levy gasped.

The unknown person watching the match smile grew bigger as stars appeared in their eyes.

"I agree, this is truly a perfect plan! I look forward to what else you come up with in the future… person from another universe!"

I continue to look at Natsu, who hasn't moved at all.

"What's wrong Natsu?" I asked him. "Don't tell me you're giving up already."

Natsu blinked and smirked.

"Giving up? No way!" Natsu said as flames coated his body. "All of this just gets me FIRED UP!"

"That's the spirit!" I shouted.

Natsu blasted fire from his mouth at me, so I countered with a Water Gun. It was easily overpowered, due to the power boost from Rain Dance plus the fire debuffs, causing Natsu to run and dodge my water move from hitting him. The members that were watching had to move out of the way when Natsu ran past them, so they didn't get hit. Natsu then came at me in a more direct approach which I returned in kind.

"Wow!" Lucy gasped.

"See? I told you it would be a good battle." Elfman said.

"What's "good" about it?" Gray asked.

Natsu lit his fist on fire again as I coated mine in water using a new move that was created called Jet Punch. The two of us were about to deck each other…

*GONG*

If it wasn't for someone making a gong sound and interrupting the fight! We stopped right before our moves hit and looked where the noise came from as well as everyone else. Behind me was a human sized frog that was standing on two legs.

"That's enough." the frog person said.

Feeling the battle wasn't going to be continued, I released Water Sport, Rain Dance and Aqua Ring. This caused the rain to stop.

"Everyone stay where you are." the frog said. "I am a messenger from the Council."

Everyone gasped while I narrowed my eyes.

"The Council?" Levi gasped.

"A messenger?" Jet asked in shock.

"Why did they send one here?" Droy asked.

"They're ignoring the scene in front of them, aren't they?" Lucy asked.

'I had a feeling they were going to do something.' I thought.

The frog then took out a sheet of paper with writing on it directed at Erza.

"Stemming from the recent Eisenwald incident, we hereby charge you with 11 counts of criminal property damage." Frog said. "Erza Scarlet, you are under arrest."

"Huh?" Erza responded.

"Say what?!" Natsu shouted.

Everyone else was shocked as well. The frog then turned to me.

"Also, the wizard that controls these unknown creatures is under arrest as well." Frog announced.

Immediately after that was said my Pokémon surrounded the frog person, all ready to protect me if need be. The frog was completely taken by surprise at how fast they moved.

"And what the hell makes you think we'll let that happen?" Striker asks with a glare.

"Y-You can speak?" the frog stuttered in shock.

"Yeah, we can." Tone answered. "We're not some mindless monsters that you apparently think we are."

"Stand down, all of you." I ordered as I turned back to my Normal form.

"Jay." Fang started to say before I held a hand up.

"I already figured that the Council would do something like this after what happened." I said. "We don't want to cause anymore problems, okay?"

"Alright then." Striker said as they all backed off.

"You can't be serious?!" Natsu demanded.

"Enough Natsu!" Erza said sternly. "Jason is right. We don't need anymore problems."

She walked up beside me to address the messenger.

"We will comply without any hassle." Erza promised.

"I thank you for your willingness." The frog said.

It then brought out two items that looked like cuffs. My Pokémon growled at the sight of them, causing the frog to be startled.

"Are the cuffs really necessary?" I asked.

"I-It's merely procedure, I promise you." The messenger said.

I looked at them and they stopped growling. The frog then put the cuffs on us.

"I'm not exactly from around here." I said. "What do these do?"

"These cuffs are meant to seal your magic while they are on you." it answered. "Now let us go."

As the frog began to walk away with Erza following, I held back a bit to talk to Striker.

"You're in charge while I'm gone." I said. "Keep an eye on Natsu too."

"How come?" Striker asked.

"If this is what I think it is, then we'll back in no time as long as nothing happens." I answered.

He nodded as I started to walk and catch up to them. What I didn't see however was Striker giving Scarlet a nod, who returned it.

(Line Break)

We were riding in a carriage that looked like it was designed for criminals. After a bit, I couldn't take the silence anymore.

"This is honestly the first time I've ever been arrested." I said. "Not counting the times law enforcement jumped the gun and thought I was a bad guy simply because I was there back home."

Erza snorted at this.

"Did they really?" she asked curiously.

"Yu*p*! Wrong place at the wrong time." I said with a shrug. "Or in some cases, right place at the right time."

Erza slightly giggled at my answer as I chuckled as well.

"So, what's the Council like exactly?" I asked, trying to fish for information.

"They are a group made up of 10 people that overlook the various legal Guilds in Earth Land." Erza said. "Their duty is to Govern the Magic World. They're responsible for events caused by us Mages, possessing the right to punish Mages who break the law and to confiscate magical artifacts that could potentially cause large-scale damage."

"Like Lullaby?" I asked.

"That's right." Erza nodded. "They are also the one's that make the rules about what jobs are allowed or illegal. Their word is law."

I nod, understanding but with a frown. No wonder Palkia and Giratina didn't like these people. It sounds like they're no different then control freaks. We kept on talking about other things until we arrived. The frog took us through many hallways. Wonder how everyone is holding up back at Fairy Tail.

(Fairy Tail)

(3rd PoV)

The energy at the Guild was heavy. Everyone that didn't go out for a job were sitting around in somber mood. They've been like this ever since Jason and Erza was arrested. Except for one person that is…

"Let me out! Let me out of here!" Natsu demanded.

"Natsu, quiet down." Mirajane said as she turned to the nicknamed Salamander.

Who was currently a gecko somehow.

"Let me out!" he yelled.

"You'll just go on a rampage if we let you out." Mira said.

"No, I won't!" Natsu promised. "So turn me back!"

"If I do that, you'll go to rescue them, right?" Mira asked.

"No, I won't! Who cares about Erza and Jason anyway!" Natsu responded.

"It's the Council we're dealing with here." Gray spoke up. "This one's out of our hands."

"Let me out! I have something I want to say!" Natsu yelled. "Council or no Council, those guys were the bad ones!"

"You seriously think they'd listen to us?" Gray asked."

The Pokémon shared a look between some of them and felt this was a good time to get some info about the Council.

"What's the deal with these Council people anyway?" Sans asked.

The humans looked to one another, feeling like they should at least fill them in about the Council.

"If you're innocent and the Council says you're guilty, then you're guilty." Gray said.

"What?! Just like that?!" Arc demanded. "Even though there is proof that person is innocent?"

No one said anything which answered the legendary Pokémon's question.

"That's not democracy, that's tyranny!" Ruby exclaimed.

'No wonder Lords Palkia and Giratina aren't fond of the Council.' Kyra thought.

"But we've done all that stuff before… Why this time?" Elfman wondered.

"Yeah, it's hard to understand." Laki said.

"There's got to be… Got to be something behind it!" Lucy said.

Over to Striker, he was eyeing Natsu and knew something was up. He glanced at Hime, AppleJack and Fuu. Giving them a nod, in which they did the same and Hime teleported the 3 of them away somewhere.

(Council's Fiore Branch)

(Jay's PoV)

We've been walking for quite a while now until the frog stopped suddenly. Looking forward, I see a blue haired man with a red tattoo over his right eye leaning on a column. He then looks at us, or rather, Erza.

"Siegrain!" Erza gasped.

I can hear the slight fear in her voice which already has me on guard about this guy.

"Long time no see, Erza." Siegrain said coolly as he walks up to us.

The frog is bowing to him so that tells me he's some big shot, while Erza tenses up.

"Don't be so on guard." Siegrain said as his body starts to glitch. "This is a thought projection. My body is now in ERA. The old men and women in the next room are also all thought projections."

'Thought Projection Magic.' I though. 'A magic that let's people to cast a copy of their own body at a different place. If you're really good at it, you can change the clothes or the appearance of the copy, at least age wise. Even interact with physical objects like it's a real person. The downside of using it is that your magic gets cut in half until the two rejoin.'

"It's not like they'd actually come all the way for such a trivial matter." Siegrain continued.

'It also lets lazy ass people be even more lazy.' I thought.

"I see." Erza muttered in realization. "This is all your doing, isn't it? What a pointless farce!"

"Don't be harsh." Siegrain said as he stepped past us. "After all, I'm on Fairy Tails said. The old timers were afraid that they would share in the blame, so they created a plan to push responsibility onto others."

"In other words," I interrupted him. "You all refuse to admit you fucked up and are using us as scapegoats."

Siegrain looks at me for the first time, like he finally noticed my existence and gives a small smug smirk.

"My aren't you a smart one, that's exactly right." he said before turning his attention back to Erza. "I wanted to see you before the trial and warn you."

Siegrain then cups Erza's chin and whispers in her ear, though doesn't know I heard him.

"Say nothing of the past to the old men." Siegrain whispered. "For both our sakes."

He pulls away from her walks past us. My eyes never leaving him.

'The past? Do they share a history?' I thought.

"I'll be waiting on the other side of the door." Siegrain said before stopping and looking back at us. "As a member of the Council. Oh, and to you unknow mage, the old men might aim to ask you some "personal" questions. Be sure to set the lines before that happens."

After that he vanished. No doubt sending his copy to the rest of the Council members. The frog lifts their head up and looks at Erza in both awe and fear.

"You know some powerful people, don't you?" the frog asked.

"He's evil." Erza simply said.

'I agree, because he gave off the same feeling as those people.' I thought with a scowl while still looking at the spot where Siegrain was at.

We were then taken inside the room. The Council members all sat in a line of 9 while the tenth (or rather the first) member sat above them. Me and Erza stood at in the center of the room where a stand was placed. The member at the top hit the gavel to commence the start of the trial. During the ride here I asked Erza the names of the Council members.

#1: Crawford (The leader of the Magic Council. He doesn't partake in any voting so there isn't ties)

#2: Org (Stiff and unwavering for the law and goes out of his way to see Fairy Tail disbanded)

#3: Michello (A strict and disciplined individual, so clearly not a fan of Fairy Tail due to being the opposite. He's also someone that believes in "sacrifices for the greater good")

#4: Yajima (A former member of Fairy Tail and one of the better Council members that supports Fairy Tail)

#5: Belno (Also not a big fan of ours due to our "crazy style")

#6: Leiji (Again, doesn't like us. Plus is like Michello about sacrificing people)

#7: Siegrain (After meeting him feels like Cyrus, Ghetsis and Giovannie. Someone that has a hidden agenda and will use anyone to fulfil his goals)

#8: Ultear (Not much is known about her)

#9 and #10… well nobody knows the names of these two, so we'll just skip them.

(Seriously, I looked everywhere for their names but found nothing. One of the reasons it took so long to post the chapter.)

"We will now commence this Wizard's Trial." The messenger frog announced. "The accused, Erza Scarlet and Jason Nox! Take the stand."

'Here we go.' I thought. 'Hopefully Striker and the others are making sure Natsu isn't doing anything stupid.'

(Fairy Tail)

(3rd PoV)

Everybody was still just sitting around and waiting for Jay and Erza to come back. Suddenly Lucy stands up.

"I can't just stay here!" she announced. "Let's go testify on their behalf!"

"Lucy…" Nab said.

"No, wait!" Makarov said.

"What are you talking about?" Lucy asked angerly. "This arrest is an injustice! Once they decide on a verdict, it'll be too late!"

"It doesn't matter how fast we go, if we leave now we won't make it in time!" Makarov said.

"But…" Lucy tried to argue.

"Let me out! I said, let me out!" Natsu demanded.

"You sure you want out?" Makarov suddenly asked him.

This caused Natsu to quite down unnaturally so.

"Yes…" Natsu said nervously.

Everyone looked at the pink gecko in confusion and suspicion.

"What's the matter, Natsu? You suddenly run out of steam?" the Fairy Tail Master asked.

When "Natsu" didn't say anything, Makarov launched a spell at him. Causing to gecko to be revealed as…

"Macao?!" Levi gasped in shock.

"But why?" everyone else but Makarov and the Pokémon to ask.

"Sorry…" Macao apologized sheepishly. "I owed Natsu one. In order to pose as Natsu, I transformed myself into a gecko.

(Flashback started)

Romeo is holding gecko Macao.

"My dad caught Natsu!" Romeo exclaimed excitedly.

But in truth Natsu was hiding in a bush.

"Get to it! I'll pretend to be you!" Macao whispered to Natsu who could easily hear him due to his enhanced hearing.

(Flashback finished)

"So then, where's the real Natsu?" Lucy asked.

"He didn't go after Erza and Jay, did he?" Gray asked with a (are you shitting me) look.

"Yeah, probably." Macao answered.

"You've got to be kidding me!" Elfman said. "That guy might actually try and punch a Council member!"

"Silence, all of you!" Makarov ordered. "We will wait patiently for the results."

Everybody looked at Makarov, until Bisca noticed something.

"Hey, where'd Hime, AppleJack and Fuu go?" the female snipper asked.

The members currently there looked around and couldn't find them.

"Oh, don't worry." Striker spoke up getting everyone's attention. "They should be back right about…"

Suddenly the 3 missing Pokémon appeared out of thin air with two extra additions.

"Now." the Fire rabbit finished.

"Let me go damn it! I have to help them!" the real Natsu yelled as he tried to move but couldn't due to Hime holding him, using Psychic.

"No way mister." Hime said. "If you barged in there, you would have made things worse for them."

"You guys got Natsu?" Mira asked.

"Jay told us to keep an eye on Natsu." Striker said. "When he took the form of a gecko, I knew something was up. So I sent Hime, AppleJack and Fuu to look for him."

"Good thing too." Fuu said as he held Happy in his fingers. "He planned to pose as Erza in a poor costume and take the blame. Same as Happy with Jason."

"Of course, he didn't want to come quietly, so we had to fight him." AppleJack said. "And it wasn't easy, let me tell you. Word of advice to my fellow Dragon Types. Dragon Slaying Magic hurts. Regardless of typing or abilities."

The Dragon Pokémon were honestly surprised to hear that.

"Well, that's good to know for future knowledge." Scala said with Jaws nodding.

"Look, you don't need to worry." Striker said as he walked up to Natsu. "They'll be back soon."

"And who do you know!" Natsu demanded.

"If you actually think about it, the answer's pretty obvious." Striker said. "Even Jay already knew what was going when that messenger showed up.

This caused everyone but his fellow Pokémon and Makarov to look at him.

"What do you mean Striker?" Mira asked.

"From what you've all said and what we've heard about the Council, they're a bunch of arrogant people aside from two or three of them." Striker said. "After the Eisnwald fiasco, their popularity has no doubt taken a hit, so to reinforce their image they decided to "make an example" of those who might break the laws in the future. And to do that they need scapegoats."

Lucy was quick to put the pieces together.

"Wait, so this is all just some big show to ease their ego's?" Lucy asked.

"That's what Jay thinks." Striker said with a nod. "At least for Erza. They probably used this as an excuse to speak to him, so they can learn about us Pokémon and what he can do."

"It's just like Jay said." Volt piped in. "They'll be back in no time. Long as nothing happens that is."

Everyone turns to look at Natsu, who had stopped trying to move and looked at everyone else.

"What's everyone staring at me for?" the idiot asked.

"The accused, Erza Scarlet." Crawford said. "In regards to the recent incident involving Eisenwald and the Lullaby. You will answer to charges concerning the damage to parts of Oshibana Station and the destruction of the Ryusika Gorge railway. You are accused of these acts of destruction."

Something tells me that the Clover Meeting Hall would've been on that list if I didn't tell them to knock Lullaby back before I blew it up.

"According to witnesses at the scene," Crawford continued. "The culprit was an armored female wizard!"

"Are you done?" I asked. "How long are you gonna play this game, huh?"

The 10 Council members looked at me. Erza had a look of surprise on her face.

"What was that?" Crawford asked.

"Jason, that's enough." Erza whispered.

"Anyone with half brain could tell this whole "trial" is a sham." I said. "Hell! Even I knew what was going on the second I saw the messenger (Points at said messenger)."

"And what exactly do you think is "going on"?" Leiji asked.

"That you can't admit you all fucked up and are using me and Erza as scapegoats." I answered. "Though I can't help but notice that all the quote-unquote "crimes" are being put on Erza while nothing is coming my way. Which means I'm here for an entirely different reason and used this as an excuse to bring me here."

The Council didn't say anything.

'You certainly found a smart one Makarov, old friend.' Yajima thought.

"So I'll ask again." I said with a glare. "Are. You. Done."

The members that didn't overly liked Fairy Tail glared back at me, while those that did were impressed with my speech. Even if their faces were neutral, their eyes weren't. One of the many skills I picked up over the years.

"Your right. Perhaps we should move onto the reason to why you were asked to come." Siegrain said.

"I agree." Ultear said.

"Very well." Org huffed. "Jason Nox, you have been brought before the Council to be asked about your origins!"

"We have looked high and low but have not found anything about you." Belno said. "As well as the creatures that have been seen by eyewitnesses with you."

"You will answer all questions presented before you!" Michello snapped.

Seems like Siegrain was right.

"I request that if the question is too personal, then I can choose to pass." I spoke. "In exchange for telling the truth."

"You dare make such a request?!" Michello yelled.

"Now, now settle down." Yajima said. "I think it's a fair request. Plus, the young man is willing to agree without any arguments. I vote to agree with his request."

"Seconded." Siegrain said.

"Third." Ultear said.

#9 and #10 raised their hands in agreement.

Michello growled before huffing.

"Due to many of the members in agreement, Jason Nox will be allowed to pass on any questions that he feels are too personal." Crawford announced to finalize it.

"Thank you." I said.

"Before we begin the questioning, I ask that Ultear be the one to do so." Siegrain spoke up.

"And why is that?" Leiji asked with a raised brow.

"Due to his request, I believe our friend here is quite guarded." Siegrain answered. "Therefore, someone like Ultear, who seems to be the same age as Jason, would be perfect to handle this."

"By that logic, why can't you do it?" Michello asked snarkingly.

"If you were in his position, which gender would you want to talk with?" Siegrain countered.

Leiji and Michello had nothing more to say at that.

"If this is needed of me then I shall." Ultear said.

All the members agreed. Ultear vanished than reappeared in front of the stand.

"Now then, let's start with some easy one's, okay?" Ultear said with a smile.

I honestly couldn't tell if it was fake or not, but it was off-putting.

"Fine by me." I spoke.

"Your name is Jason Nox, correct." Ultear asked.

"That's the name I was given at birth." I answered.

Ultear giggled at my little joke.

"Okay Jason, how old are you?" Ultear asked.

"Age 20." I said.

"Wow, so we are close in age. You're just 3 years younger than me." Ultear said.

"Enough of this!" Michello snapped. "Get on with the important questions already!"

"Very well." Ultear sighed as she gave me an apologetic smile. "Jason where in Ishgar are you from?"

'Ishgar, the eastern part of Earth Land and where Fiore is located at the edge of it.' I thought, going over what I read.

"I am not form Ishgar." I announced.

This caused the Council to widen their eyes in shock.

"That means you're from Alakitasia?!" Michello demanded while jumping to conclusions. "Kill him at once!"

"Michello! Calm down this instance!" Yajima ordered. "He could be from Guiltina!"

"I'm not from of those places either." I quickly cut in.

The Council members still up in their seats look at me in confusion, surprise and slightly intrigued. Ultear took the chance to regain control of things.

"Interesting… so then where are you from than, Jason." Ultear asked.

"I am from a land far in the East." I answered. "2 weeks of none stop travelling, crossing the sea. My homeland and the ones connected to it are called Regions. I hail from the Galar Region."

I then proceeded to tell them the same story I told Fairy Tail, all except the Plates and anything important. I instead told them that more forms will appear when I get stronger using the excuse of it being a Lost Magic as cover. The Council were in awe of my story, especially when I told them about the Pokémon. Though I could see the fear in some of their eyes pertaining to Org, Michello and Leiji.

"I just want the record to show that the Regions is a peaceful place." I said. "But they will defend themselves if attacked."

"We understand." Ultear said before turning to the Council. "I suggest we move on from any questions about his magic due to it being a Lost Type."

"Agreed." Belno said. "It would waste too much time."

The rest nodded in agreement.

"I believe with that tale all the questions have been answered." Siegrain said. "Unless anyone else has something to ask?"

Nobody raised their hands or spoke up. Good, because I had something to ask.

"I do actually." I spoke up.

This got the attention of the Council.

"What makes you think we'll listen to any question you have?" Michello asked.

"Now, now. I'm sure it's harmless." Siegrain said with a smirk. "He's been so cooperative, it's only fair."

The man huffed in response.

"What is your question, Jason Nox?" Org asked.

"How did the King react when you told him about Lullaby?" I asked.

Everyone stopped moving and stared at me. The smirk that Siegrain had was gone. Erza looked at me in horror.

"How you dropped the ball so fucking hard that it broke the ground?" I continued. "But you didn't, did you? Because then you'd be fired."

"How dare-!" Michello tried to yell.

"No how dare YOU!" I cut him off by yelling myself. "How dare you call yourselves a Council when you can't even do your damn job properly?! You're suppose to protect the innocence, but what do you do instead? Nothing! When was the last time any of you did something for the people without getting anything in return? You sit on your asses and demand respect for doing nothing!"

Some had the decency to look away in shame.

"The only reason you have a problem with Fairy Tail isn't because of the destruction we cause, it's because you can't control us, but know you can't force us to disband or else people would stop listening to you! You are nothing but control freaks that think they can do anything they want simply because of your position! Positions that make you feel so important that you say "screw the rest of the people"!"

The "great" Magic Council had nothing to say.

"Now unless you have something that legally allows you to put us in jail, you can remove these cuffs and let us go on our way." I finished with a glare.

Crawford looks me in the eye. We hold our gazes until he relents with a sigh.

"Remove their cuffs." he orders.

(TO BE COUNTIUED)

(Well that took a while. I really wanted to write in the whole Lullaby issue. Totally a "In My Opinion" of course. Shouldn't the KING of FIORE know about this, an item that the Council was suppose to look after was stolen right from under their noises but didn't even talk to them about it? The very guy the Council takes orders from and should tell him about such things? Nani da fuck? Anyways, with that little rant aside: feel free to write a review on your thoughts about the story.)
