Glancing at Evileye in surprise, Jinbe tried to understand her question.

" A god ? "

"I have lived many years," Evileye said. "Much more than you can believe! And because of that, I have been able to meet hundreds of people that normal humans would call superhumans! And yet, few of them have been able to surpass my power."

Thinking back to Hosu, she declared.

"I have no shame in admitting that Mugiwara is much more powerful than me! It's obvious that he could defeat me without any real difficulty! However, I refuse to believe that he's a mere human! It's impossible! A human can't have such power."

Listening to her, while trying to figure out who she was, Jinbe ended up sighing.

"To tell the truth, I often ask myself this question."

" Huh ? "

Remaining silent for a few moments, Jinbe thought back to the first time he had met Luffy. First, Luffy had performed a miracle by managing to reach the 6th level of Impel Down. Then, Luffy had been able to escape from this famous prison that everyone called impenetrable. Then, he had fought at Marineford and had reached Ace after confronting the admirals and using Haoshoku Haki. Even Whitebeard had placed all his hopes in him.

Luffy had survived Magellan's poison and Akainu's magma... and even after that, he had decided to face Kaido and Big Mom. Who could claim to have achieved so many feats and still be alive after all that?

Was Luffy a human? Seriously, Jinbe doubted it. Yet, no matter who he was, all his trust was placed in this young man sporting his straw hat.

"Luffy-kun... he might not be human! He might be a god like you said! I don't know! All I know for sure is that... he'll become the Pirate King."

"The Pirate King?" Evileye wondered.

The vampire didn't know how to react to this information. Finally, she surprised Jinbe by stepping back before going through a wall and disappearing from the room.

"Huh?" Said the fishman. "Who was she?"

The day after

Seeing two dark elves in front of her, Ryukyo trembled with fear. Using her reptilian form, she tried to use her imposing body to kill her enemies. However, feeling none of her attacks, Aura only smiled, before pointing her bow at her. And before the heroine could react, her heart was pierced by a projectile.

Opening her eyes, Ryukyu breathed quickly, as she had just woken up from a horrible nightmare. Having trouble telling the difference between dream and reality, she was scared at the idea of still being in the tomb of Nazarick, while fighting against Mare and Aura. However, hearing strange noises, made by the machines that surrounded her, the young woman noticed that she was on a bed, in a hospital room.

"What...?" she wondered.

Taking a few seconds to calm down, Ryukyu remembered his last fight, and had no trouble remembering that his team had been quickly outclassed by the two dark elves they had fought. Only Franky had managed to push them back a little, while also being attacked and injured. And when the cyborg had been in mortal danger, the heroine had tried to protect him... and she sincerely thought that her gesture would have killed her.

Yet she was still alive.

"Please! Don't leave your bed."

"Have no fear."

Now standing, Jinbe faced several people, who tried to put him back in his bed. However, only laughing, the man began to remove several bandages, while stating.

"I've had enough rest! Thank you for taking care of me."

Then, turning, he saw the many heroes who were in the same room as him, while few of them felt as good as the fishman. The corpses of the dead heroes had been evacuated to a mortuary chamber, to be preserved as long as possible. And from time to time, one of these heroes was resurrected thanks to the powers of Lakyus. Of course, his magic did not allow him to resurrect everyone. But at least, the losses due to the carnage that took place inside the tomb of Darkness were a little less catastrophic.

For example, Wash was able to be resurrected and the hero was sleeping in a bed alongside the other injured heroes.

"You already have a lot of work to do." Jinbei said, grabbing his clothes. "There's no way I'm going to waste your time."

As he prepared to retaliate, the people in front of him saw the door to the room open as a few nurses entered with a stretcher containing the body of a hero.

"Lakyus-san has managed to resurrect another hero." One of the women said. "We need a bed so we can examine him and make sure he's healthy."

"A bed has been freed." Jinbe assured, before leaving the room. "Take care of this man."

Then, with a more serious look, he said.

"For my part, I will make sure that no carnage like this can ever happen again."

Being exhausted, Lakyus sat on a chair. Since last night, she had used her resurrection spell on nine people. The result was not incredible since only four heroes had been saved. However, seeing the reactions of the doctors, Lakyus' power was a real blessing. However, unable to stop herself from hitting a wall with her fist, the young woman growled.

"I am... weak."

Across from her, Tia and Tina remained silent, as they saw Lakyus gritting her teeth.

"These people are fighting to save civilians and I am unable to save them all! This world needs them to fight Darkness."

Suddenly, wanting to do more, she stood up to try to save another hero. Unfortunately, feeling her vision blur, she made some awkward spasms and almost fell to the ground.

"Evil boss!" The twins said, coming to her.

Yet, pushing them away, Lakyus retorted.

"The longer I wait, the smaller the chances of me resurrecting other people! We must act as quickly as possible."

Yet, taking another step, she felt her body fall forward, as she had no more energy. However, a muscular arm wrapped around her to prevent her from falling.

"What's the point of saving people if it's going to kill you?"

Surprised, Lakyus felt herself being lifted off the ground as she found herself in All Might's arms.

"What…?" Lakyus wondered, blushing instantly.

Then, All Might began to leave the room and headed towards a place where Lakyus could rest.

"What... What are you doing?"

"You were amazing." The hero assured her. "You managed to resurrect people I thought I would never see again! Lakyus-san... I have no words to tell you how much I owe you! All I can do is stop you from doing anything with your body! Lakyus-san... you need to rest."

"But... the longer I wait, the less chance I have of resurrecting the other heroes."

"Because you think that by dying of exhaustion you can help them." All Might retorted.

Suddenly, Lakyus found herself in a bed and All Might put a blanket over her.

"Sleep and rest! You have earned a good rest."

Then, leaving the room before Lakyus could react, he walked past Tia and Tina before ordering them.

"Don't let her leave this room until she takes a nap."

"Aye!" Said the two twins, before seeing him leave.

For her part, staying in her bed, Lakyus couldn't help but still feel All Might's muscles touching her. Thinking back to the hero, steam began to surround her, while she blushed more.

All Might was so amazing. Even though he lost to Darkness, he didn't hesitate to fight her after defeating her Death Knights. And now, he cared about her health.

Suddenly, her emotions were so intense, that she eventually fainted, all the while displaying a big smile.

" All Miggggghhhhhttttt ... "

Running into the hospital, Chopper hurried to run to Jinbe and Ryukyu's room to make sure they were in good health. However, he had stopped, when he saw a crowd in front of Ryukyu's room.

"Huh? What's going on?" He asked.

But before he could enter, he saw doctors throwing several heroes out of the patient's room, while they refused to let them in.

"Hero, even if you are worried about your comrade's health, you must let her rest! It has only been a short time since Ryukyu-san woke up! You risk exhausting her with so many people around her.

"Okay, but tell us if she's okay."

"I think so! It's a miracle she woke up, I guess! To be honest, when she arrived at this hospital, anyone would have said no one could save her."

Hearing this, Chopper finally turned around before leaving. Having the confirmation that Ryukyu was better, he found it useless to insist on treating her. The doctors of this hospital would be able to continue his work.

" Chopper-sensei ... "

Stopping, Chopper caught sight of the hospital director, as the man walked down one of the building's hallways.

"Good to see you again." Anyx said. "Did you come to check on your patients?"

"Yeah! I just heard that Ryukyu woke up."

"Yes! And it's only because of your genius! Chopper-sensei... do you realize that you've performed a miracle? Even my knowledge wouldn't have been enough to do what you've done."

" BAKAYARO ! " Cried Chopper.

Suddenly, unable to stop himself from dancing with joy, he insulted the director.

"You're just an idiot! I hate compliments! Baka! Baka!"

"By the way, have you thought about my proposal?" Anyx asked.

Stopping dancing, Chopper suddenly looked more serious.

"Do you seriously want me to teach at your hospital?"

"Of course! Having a man like you on my staff is a true blessing! Chopper-sensei... we often say that a genius appears in the world once a century! In my eyes, you are the genius of this century! The medical world needs your help! Imagine the number of students in training that you will be able to educate in order to improve their skills!"

Remaining silent at first, Chopper finally spoke.

"First of all, I wanted to say thank you! It really makes me happy to hear you say that."

Thinking he was going to refuse, Anyx prepared to sigh before resigning herself. However, Chopper declared.

"I want to warn you about something important! One day, I plan to leave this country and return home! When that day comes, I want you to promise me that you will not insist that I stay in this hospital."

" Huh ? " Said Anyx.

"I agree to become an instructor at this hospital," Chopper assured. "I want to help as many people as possible become excellent doctors."

Immediately, Anyx grabbed Chopper's hooves before starting to shake them, all the while crying.

"Chopper-sensei... thank you so much! You have no idea how happy I am that my hospital can accommodate a genius like you."

Feeling shaken so hard that his feet left the ground, Chopper almost felt dizzy when Anyx let go of him.

"By the way, were you the one who advised your friend to leave the hospital so quickly?" Anyx asked.

" Huh ? "

"The blue-skinned man!" The director said. "My doctors told me he decided to leave his room and the receptionist saw him leaving the hospital half an hour ago."

"JINBE!" Chopper shouted angrily. "Damn it! He's like Zoro! Why does he refuse to get treatment?"

Then he hurried away.

"I have to find him! I bet he's already taken off his bandages."

But as Chopper was about to leave the hospital, a woman called out to him.

"Excuse me, are you the doctor who saved Ryukyu-san's life?"

" Huh ? "

Surprised, Chopper saw that the woman was holding a microphone in front of her, while a cameraman was behind her. In fact, there was a whole group of reporters who seemed to want to get news of the heroes in the hospital. And apparently, the miracle that Chopper had performed seemed to have already spread within the building.

"From what we've heard, a tanuki was the one who saved Ryukyu-san! Doctor, can you tell us about the miracle you performed?"

"I'M NOT A TANUKI!" Chopper retorted.

However, he began to back away, as several journalists took pictures of him.

"Are you really the one who saved Ryukyu-san?"

"How is she? Can she continue to be a hero?"

"And how are the other heroes?"

Dazzled, Chopper didn't know what to answer. Suddenly, someone called him.

" Dr Chopper ... "

Stopping their questions, the reporters saw All Might walking towards Chopper, along with Hawks, Best Jeanist, Edgeshot, Kamui Woods, and Yoroi Musha.

Finding himself in front of Chopper, the blond declared.

"I heard that Ryukyu was able to wake up this morning! Dr. Chopper... I don't know how to express my gratitude..."

And finally, in front of Chopper and the cameras, All Might bows, before shouting.

" THANKS YOU VERY MUCH ! "

Imitating him, the other heroes bowed. Honestly, some people like Jeanist continued to disapprove of the pirates' behavior. However, it had to be admitted that Ryukyu would have died without Chopper's intervention. Thanking him was therefore the least they could do.

Being surely the most surprised by the situation, Chopper was again dazzled by the flashes of the cameras, while the journalists wanted to take a picture of the new hero of the hospital.

Having been summoned to Nezu's office, Luffy had a finger in his nose, as he appeared annoyed.

"Why am I here?"

Seeing him, Nezu sighed in advance.

"I see that your presence here bores you."

"Aye! I was planning on going to a restaurant."

Immediately, Nami slapped him on the back of the head while retorting.

"Do you think this is the time to think about that? We have enough trouble already."

Also being in Nezu's office with Robin, the redhead ends up slapping her hands on Nezu's desk.

"You brought us here because of what happened in the Darkness Tomb, right? What's the problem? Sanji and the others saved as many lives as they could! Plus, Hawks was the one who asked us to intervene! Why do you want to blame Luffy?"

" Blame ?" Nezu wondered.

"Luffy didn't even know about all this." Nami assured. "There's no need to be mad at him."

"Aye!" Luffy assured. "I fought All Might and slaughtered him."

"SHUT UP!" Nami roared. Having remained silent, Robin addressed Nezu.

"It's true that heroes must hold a certain grudge against Luffy! However, for once, he has nothing to do with what happened."

"I didn't summon him because of what happened during the assault on Darkness." Nezu retorted. "In truth, I would also like to summon your companions to thank them for what they did! Without their help, all the heroes who tried to fight Darkness might have died! Luffy-san, if I summoned you, it's for another reason."

Seeming hesitant, Nezu finally declared.

"After what happened at the beginning of the year and Hosu's invasion, it seems obvious to me that many villains including Darkness are trying to target All Might and UA in order to destabilize Japan! We were lucky that none of our students were killed! But if this continues, there will inevitably be deaths and I refuse to let that happen! And to prevent that, I need your help."

Staring at Luffy, the director questioned him.

"Luffy-san… do you want to become a teacher at my school and train the students?"

"WHAT?" Nami shouted, while Robin remained calm.

"It's okay." Luffy assured. "Can I leave now?"

" Are you accepted ? "

Having just returned to their apartment, Nami had explained the situation to the other pirates. Shocked, Usopp, Brook and Franky had shouted this question, staring at Luffy, while Jinbe was laughing.

"What's the problem?" Luffy asked. "Anyway, Midoriya and Jelly already asked me to train them! Since Mouse-guy doesn't seem to be against the idea, I don't see why I would refuse! Plus, since we can't leave Japan to kick Kaido's ass, I'm bored."

"It's not a bad thing." Robin said. "If the villains attack UA again, but the students manage to repel them thanks to Luffy's training, I think the heroes of Japan will stop seeing him as an enemy."

"That's not what's disturbing." Usopp retorted. "Honestly, do you think Luffy would be a good teacher? Immature as he is, he'll probably avoid any responsibility... show up late... forget to show up... prefer eating or having fun over training the students... or he'll train them in such a way that they'll collapse from exhaustion after ten seconds! Seriously, I don't trust him."

"I can't say he's wrong." Nami said. "If a student gets hurt while training with Luffy, the heroes will still use that to try to stop us."

"In that case, they'll just be idiots." Zoro growled.

Drinking a bottle of sake, Zoro declared.

"How do you think I lost my eye? When someone trains seriously to surpass their limits, they are bound to get injured or nearly die! It's a must during training! No one can get stronger without sacrifice."

Staring at his companions, he affirmed.

"Every one of you knows this! No one can become stronger by snapping their fingers! If the students of UA are afraid of being killed by the villains, but they refuse to let Luffy train them because it's too complicated, then they'd better leave the school! It's easy to understand."

"Zoro-dono is right." Kinemon said. "I don't know the students of this school! But it seems obvious to me to think that if they want to become heroes, they must know the pain that comes from an injury and the fear of facing someone stronger than them! If they don't know these feelings, they will never be able to face powerful enemies."

As they were about to retort, the pirates heard the door open.

" JINBE !"

Entering screaming, Chopper saw the fishman in the apartment, while the man struggled to remove the bandages he had on his abdomen.

"Why are you here? And why are you taking off your bandages?"

"I need to practice and he's bothering me a little."

"YOU'RE IN NO FITNESS TO TRAIN!" Chopper roared.

"Hey, Chopper." Usopp said. "You got a gift."

" Huh ? "

Suddenly, Chopper spotted a huge gift box in the middle of the living room, which was as tall as Franky.

" What is this ? "

"A gift from the hero association." Robin said, with a card in her hand. "They want to thank you."

Hesitant at first, Chopper finally grabbed the knot that surrounded the box and pulled on it. In an instant, the gift opened and the entire floor of the apartment was covered with hundreds of boxes of chocolates and other sweets. Having listened to Robin's advice, the heroes had bought a year's worth of chocolates for the one who had saved Kyukyu's life.

Having retreated in time, the other pirates had seen Chopper disappear under the sweets.

"Chopper... are you still alive?"

Taking his head out of the chocolate boxes, Chopper had hearts in place of his eyes.

"Being swallowed up by an ocean of chocolate? That's a dream come true."

"This is so amazing." Carrot shouted. "It's like being on Cacao Island again."

"YOHOHOHO!" Brook sneered, picking up one of the boxes. "Luxury Swiss chocolate? These heroes finally know how to say thank you! But I doubt Sanji will be happy seeing all this."

Suddenly, looking around, Brook noticed that Sanji wasn't there.

"By the way, where is Sanji?"

While sleeping, despite the fact that it was almost noon, Rochi heard someone knocking on his door. Opening his eyes, the man finally got up.

Normally, he would have probably roared and made no effort to get up. But knowing that there was a good chance that Sanji would be back, the man resigned himself and finally opened the door.

" Yeah ! "

As he thought, Sanji was in front of him.

"What do you want? I doubt anyone has filed a complaint against me! My kid hasn't screamed or cried since your last visit."

In response, Sanji grabbed his hair and pulled him out of his apartment.

"OUCH! OUCH! What are you doing?

"Just follow me." Sanji ordered him. "I'll make sure to continue your education."

North Korea

Locked in their homes, thousands of civilians watched in fear as the military parade passed through their city.

At first they saw thousands of soldiers from their country's old army marching in organized ranks. However, what followed frightened the population.

The trucks... the tanks... the planes... all the vehicles in this military parade seemed to move of their own accord. Now having faces and the ability to speak, they seemed alive and began to sing, all the while being imitated by weapons such as machine guns and rocket launchers.

Finally arriving in a huge car, a gigantic woman saw her appearance in the center of the parade, while she had a huge cake in her hand. Quickly chewing her snack, Big Mom then started laughing.

"MAMAMAMA! What a perfect place! This country is so full of people that I don't know what to do with all the souls I collect! Now it's easy for me to create an army of homies without the slightest worry!"

Then, raising her hands, she began to scream.

"If you want to live in a world of peace where I will protect you... give me your soul."
