The air in the castle's chamber was heavy with tension. The Butterfly Sisters stood gathered in a tight circle, their wings shimmering faintly in the dim light. Outside, the sounds of torches being lit and soldiers barking orders drifted through the thick stone walls. Inside, the conversation was grim.

"It's foolish, what they are doing," Kanao said, her voice quiet but laced with frustration. She leaned against the cold stone wall, arms crossed, her gaze sharp. "Burning every spinning wheel in the kingdom won't stop Muzan."

"Of course not," Kanae agreed, her tone calm yet resolute. She was the picture of serenity, her delicate hands folded neatly in front of her, though her eyes betrayed the weight of her thoughts. "Once a spell has been ordained, nothing can undo it."

Shinobu, sitting gracefully on the edge of the table, let out a soft hum. "Prince Tanjiro might disagree. He swore a Warrior's Oath to protect her."

Kanao rolled her eyes, though a faint smile tugged at her lips. "Precocious little fellow, isn't he? What does he think he can do? He's just a child."

"He's a fool," Kanae said bluntly. "Going up against Muzan with no power, no magic—just as a mortal. It's reckless."

Kanao straightened, her expression darkening. "If you would just let me help him—"

"No!" Shinobu interrupted sharply, her usual light demeanor replaced with uncharacteristic sternness. Her wings flared slightly, catching the faint glow of the enchanted lanterns. "We cannot afford such risks. The best plan for now is to hide the princess from Muzan, to keep her where he cannot find her."

Kanao looked unconvinced. "And where is that, exactly? Where can we possibly hide her that Muzan cannot reach?"

Shinobu's lips curved into a small, knowing smile. "The Enchanted Forest."

Both Kanao and Kanae turned to her, surprise flickering in their expressions. "The Enchanted Forest?" Kanae repeated, her usual composure faltering. "Are you serious, Shinobu? That place is teeming with danger."

"It's the one place Muzan himself is forbidden to venture," Shinobu replied firmly. "He cannot step foot in that forest. It's the safest place for her."

Kanao frowned. "So, what's the plan? We raise her there in hiding, away from the world?"

"Exactly." Shinobu nodded. "We'll change her name. From now on, she will be known as Rini. She'll live as a peasant girl, far from the castle, far from prying eyes."

Kanae's brow furrowed, her concern evident. "And what makes you think Muzan isn't listening to us right now? He has spies everywhere."

Kanao let out a soft giggle, tapping the wall with her fingers. "You think I'd start plotting without masking the room first? I've cloaked us in a sound barrier. Not even Muzan's shadows can penetrate it."

Shinobu nodded approvingly. "Good. Then it's settled. Tonight, we leave with the princess."

The night was heavy with sorrow as King Robert and Queen Atsuko stood on the balcony of their grand castle, gazing down at the dimly lit courtyard. Below them, the Butterfly Sisters, now disguised as simple peasants, carried their precious daughter away. The baby, swaddled in soft linens, let out a soft cry that pierced the still night air.

Atsuko clutched Robert's arm tightly, her tears streaming silently down her face. "Is this truly the only way?" she whispered, her voice trembling.

"It is," Robert replied, though his voice was thick with emotion. He placed a steadying hand on her shoulder, though his own heart ached. "If we are to protect her, we must trust in the Butterfly Sisters. They are her only hope."

Atsuko let out a quiet sob as she watched her daughter disappear into the shadows of the night. "She is our most precious treasure. How can we let her go?"

Robert didn't answer. He simply held his queen as they both watched the figures grow smaller, their child vanishing into the unknown.

As the years passed, the sorrow of the royal family seeped into the hearts of the kingdom's people. The once vibrant halls of the castle grew quiet, the fields less lively, the festivals less frequent. The absence of Princess Christiana was a wound that time could not heal.

Yet, as the sixteenth year of her life drew near, hope began to stir. The people whispered of the prophecy, of the wrathful Muzan who thundered in his forbidden mountains but had yet to claim victory. With every storm that raged in Muzan's domain, the kingdom breathed a sigh of relief, knowing the curse remained unfulfilled.

Far from the castle, hidden beneath the sprawling canopies of the Enchanted Forest, the young girl known as Rini lived in a small, humble cottage. The Butterfly Sisters raised her with care, their magic concealed to keep her safe. Rini grew into a kind and spirited girl, unaware of her royal lineage or the dark fate that loomed over her.

The forest was alive with magic. Fireflies that glowed in shifting colors danced through the air, and the trees whispered secrets in the wind. Streams of silver water glimmered in the moonlight, and flowers bloomed in unnatural hues. It was a dangerous place, yet it became a home to the princess and her guardians.

Unbeknownst to her, shadows stirred beyond the forest's edge. Muzan's spies roamed the land, their search relentless. But for now, as the forbidden mountains roared with his frustration, the princess remained hidden, safe for just a little longer.
