A half-moon glowed on smooth stone, turning silver.
Such a quiet night for a battle that would start a prophecy.
"Oakheart!"
A dark skinned man whith short dark brown hair, spat the name. He gripped his sword tightly in between hus hands, as his hair blew in the wind.
His hair was covered tightly with a light brown tiger-striped helmet, chestplate, and metal boots.
The man continued "how dare you step into pur territories, sunrocks belongs to thunderkingdom!"
Oakheart smirked and tutted "after tonight, Tigerclaw, Sunrocks will belong to Riverkingdom!"
Oakheart raised his sword and the Riverkingdom knights knew to start fighting.
The Riverkingdom warriors emerged from the water, not even stopping to dry started fighting.
Raven a young, pale boy, didn't know where to start he held his slingshot loosely in one hand and a stone in the other.
His attention snapped back to the battle as he heard a desperate scream.
A fair-skinned woman was struggling under a Riverkingdom knight.
Tigerclaw, who had pinned Oakheart down, suddenly let Oakheart go and raced to the woman, pulling the knight off of her.
"Run, Mousefur!" He commanded.
Mousefur obeyed, Raven noticed a deep gash on Mousefur's soldier but Mousefur wasn't showing any evidence she was in pain.
Tigerclaw spat in rage as he felt a switchblade slash his nose.
A white man with red hair, came running to Tigerclaw.
"Come on, Tigerclaw there are too many Riverkingdom warriors!" "no, Redtail. Thunderkingdom will never be beaten" he twirled his sword as if to emphasize his point.
"This is our territory" blood was leaking from the gash on Tigerclaw's nose.
"Thunderkingdom will honor your courage, Tigerclaw, but we cannot afford to lose any more of our knights and soldiers,
Bluestar would never expect her knights to fight against these impossible odds."
Without waiting for Tigerclaw to respond Redtail called for the knights to retreat, even though half of them were already gone.
In a deserted clearing an old woman with hair that looked blue in the moonlight sat in the clearing of her kingdom.
"How is Mousefur?" She asked as she spotted her healer coming out of the castle.
The healer responded "her wound us deep, Bluestar but she's strong so I'm sure she'll recover"
Bluestar nodded, " and the others?"
"They will recover too"
Bluestar sighed "We are lucky to not have lost anyone this time, but I am deeply troubled by this night's defeat. Thunderkingdom hasn't been beaten in it's territory since I became queen." She looked at the ground.
Defeated.
Suddenly a shooting star blazed across the night sky, Bluestar looked at it with new found energy.
The healer murmured something, starstruck.
"Is it a sign from starclan?"
The healer nodded.
"Fire alone will save our kingdom.
