Elsewhere, as the Best Friends Squad continued their trek through the Evergreen Forest, they all began to notice how harmonious the atmosphere seemed , as if nature itself was welcoming them. The scent of morning dew and wildflowers filled their nostrils, while the warm sun caressed their skin.

A rare sense of peace seemed to fall over everyone as they moved forward on this new path.

"Wow, I gotta say I wasn't expecting this," Glimmer remarked, looking around at the vivid foliage encompassing them. "I mean, this whole Eternia place; it's something else."

"I know... it's so much like Etheria, and yet..." Bow said.

"Still worried about that dark side of the planet?" Catra guessed. Bow could only nod in confirmation. "Yeah, me too... But at least nothing's trying to hide it. As far as we know anyway..."

The next moment, several flying creatures flew right over the heads of the four, screeching and roaring, causing them to stop.

"Whoa!" Bow remarked in alarm.

"What was that?" Glimmer asked, nervously.

"Whatever they were, I doubt we'd like them." Catra commented cynically.

The squad froze as a voice rang out through the dense trees, firm and commanding.

"Halt!"

Catra's ears twitched, and she muttered under her breath, "Like I was saying…"

From the shadows of the trees emerged Man-at-Arms, Teela and Orko.

As the two groups faced each other in the clearing, the tension was palpable. Adora instinctively stepped in front of her friends, while Teela tightened her grip on her staff, her eyes narrowing. Man-At-Arms stood firm, his presence steady and commanding, while Orko nervously floated nearby, his eyes darting between the strangers and his companions.

"You've got one chance to explain yourselves," Teela said, her voice sharp. "Who are you, and what are you doing in Eternia?"

Adora raised her hands, palms outward in a gesture of peace. "We don't want to fight," she said firmly. "My name is Adora. These are my friends—Catra, Glimmer, and Bow. We're not here to cause trouble. We've come because I'm searching for answers... about my past and where I came from."

"Your past?" Man-At-Arms echoed, his brow furrowing. His eyes lingered on Adora, studying her intently.

"Wait a minute," Glimmer interjected, stepping forward. "I'm Queen Glimmer of Brightmoon, a kingdom on Etheria—our homeworld. We've traveled a long way to get here, and we're not here to hurt anyone."

Teela arched a skeptical eyebrow. "Another world? Do you really expect us to believe that?"

"I know it's hard to believe," Bow said quickly. "But it's the truth. We've been on a journey to restore magic across the universe, and it led us here."

Man-At-Arms stroked his chin thoughtfully. "The universe is vast... far larger than most can imagine. It's not impossible that there are worlds beyond Eternia."

"Yes! Thank you!" Glimmer said, her voice tinged with relief.

Adora nodded, her tone earnest. "I recently learned that I was born here, on Eternia. I don't know much more than that, but I need to find out the truth. That's why we're here."

Man-At-Arms' gaze lingered on her for a long moment. There was something about her eyes, her hair—something familiar. He muttered under his breath, almost too softly for anyone to hear, "It cannot be..."

Before anyone could question him, Orko suddenly floated forward, his jittery voice breaking the moment. "Wait, y-you're not working for Skeletor, are you? Because if you are, uh, well, we've got... magic!" He flung out his arms, attempting a spell. A few weak sparks fizzled and popped before a tiny puff of smoke erupted from his hands. He sighed with clear disappointment in his voice.

Catra smirked in amusement, crossing her arms. "Yeah, I think we'd remember working for someone with a name like that."

Man-At-Arms stepped forward, his posture calm but authoritative. "I am Duncan, known as Man-At-Arms. This is my daughter, Teela, and the court magician, Orko."

Orko puffed out his chest, clearly taking pride in the introduction despite his earlier spell mishap. "That's right! Small but mighty!"

Adora sighed, the tension in her shoulders easing slightly. "Thank you, uh... Man-At-Arms. I hope we can prove to you that we're not a threat. We've come a long way for this."

Teela crossed her arms, her suspicion softening into curiosity. "If you're telling the truth, you might find your answers. But you'll need to come with us to Eternos. The king and queen will want to hear this."

Adora nodded. "We'll go with you. We just want to know the truth."

Man-At-Arms gestured for them to follow. "Then let's not waste time. Eternos isn't far."

The group had only taken a few steps toward the edge of the clearing when a sudden burst of eerie, violet light erupted before them. From the glow stepped a tall, pale-skinned woman with striking features and sharp, calculating eyes that gleamed with malice. She was dressed in dark, flowing robes adorned with intricate designs, a headdress resembling horns crowning her head. In her hand, she clutched a glowing staff, its orb pulsing with violet energy.

Flanking her was a hulking, beast-like figure covered in matted orange fur. His face resembled that of a snarling ape, his eyes glowing faintly red. He carried a crude whip and growled under his breath, his massive frame radiating brute strength.

"Oh great," Teela muttered, raising her staff defensively.

The third figure was an imposing, mechanical-looking man. His left arm was entirely mechanical, ending in a massive claw, while his right arm was a patchwork of wires and armor. His face was partially obscured by a steel mask, and a wicked grin twisted his lips as he hefted a laser blaster.

"Oh no! It's an ambush!" Orko exclaimed, frightened.

"Indeed. This is bad." Duncan remarked.

The Best Friends Squad exchanged uneasy glances.

"Who... or what are they?" Glimmer asked, gripping her staff tightly as her eyes darted between the three figures.

"They're servants of Skeletor," Duncan explained, his tone serious. "Evil-Lyn is his second-in-command. Dangerous and cunning—she's a powerful sorceress."

Bow shifted nervously. "And the big furry one?"

"Beast Man," Teela answered sharply. "He can control animals and creatures with his mind. Don't let his brutish looks fool you—he's not as dumb as he seems."

Catra crossed her arms, sizing him up with a smirk. "Looks like a walking hairball to me."

"Hey!" The aforementioned 'hairball' barked in annoyance.

"And Trap-Jaw?" Adora asked, her eyes narrowing at the mechanical figure.

"He's a cybernetic weapons expert," Duncan said, his grip tightening on his mace. "Don't underestimate him. He's got an arsenal of attachments for that arm and won't hesitate to use them."

Orko floated nervously beside Bow, his small hands trembling. "Uh... did I mention I really don't like these guys? Because I really don't like these guys."

"Well, isn't this a charming little gathering," Evil-Lyn said, her voice dripping with mockery. Her glowing eyes roamed over the group, lingering on Adora. "You're not from around here, are you? I can smell the off-world magic on you."

Adora stepped forward. "We're not looking for a fight, but we'll defend ourselves if we have to."

Evil-Lyn chuckled coldly. "Oh, I'm counting on it."

Beast Man cracked his whip, the sharp sound echoing through the clearing, while Trap-Jaw's mechanical claw flexed ominously.

"Get ready," Duncan warned, his stance shifting. "These three don't come looking for friendly conversation."

Adora quickly summoned her Sword of Protection, determination etched on her face. "We've handled worse," she said, glancing at her friends. "We can handle this."

"Famous last words," Catra muttered, unsheathing her claws while Glimmer's hands glowed with magic as she stepped forward and Bow prepared to fire an arrow

"Fiery, aren't we?" Evil-Lyn sneered. "Beast Man, Trap-Jaw—show them what happens to those who cross us."

At that moment, Trap-Jaw raised his blaster and fired a barrage of energy bolts.

"Scatter!" Duncan barked, raising his shield and deflecting a shot aimed at Teela.

The clearing erupted into chaos as both groups clashed.

Beast Man roared and lunged forward, claws slashing toward Teela, who nimbly dodged and countered with her staff, delivering a sharp blow to his midsection. Trap-Jaw stomped toward Bow, his mechanical arm swinging in a heavy arc. Bow narrowly dodged, his heart racing as he fired an arrow that ricocheted harmlessly off Trap-Jaw's metallic body.

Catra hissed, as she leaped toward and swiped her claws at Beast Man, who swiped back with equal ferocity. "Finally, someone I don't feel bad about scratching," she snarled.

Meanwhile, Evil-Lyn raised her hands, summoning a swirl of dark energy that she hurled at Adora. Adora raised her sword, deflecting the attack, the force sending sparks flying.

"You're strong," Evil-Lyn observed with a wicked smile. "This will be fun."

The battle quickly splintered across the clearing, Beast Man, snarling and bloodthirsty, lunged at Teela with claws outstretched. She ducked under his swing and jabbed her staff into his ribs, but his brute strength forced her to backpedal.

Trap-Jaw advanced on Duncan, his mechanical claw snapping menacingly. Duncan deflected the blows with his shield, his movements precise yet strained. He aimed a counterstrike with his mace, but Trap-Jaw sidestepped it, raising his blaster to fire.

Orko floated nervously above the fray, flinging bursts of chaotic magic at Evil-Lyn. She countered with her dark spells, each blast of energy forcing Orko to retreat. "I could use a little help here!" he cried.

Across the clearing, Bow spotted the struggle. "They're in trouble!" he shouted, nocking an arrow. He released it with precision, the projectile whizzing through the air and striking Trap-Jaw's blaster, forcing the weapon to misfire.

Trap-Jaw growled, glaring in Bow's direction. "Who dares?"

Catra sprinted forward, claws out, leaping at Beast Man. She struck him across the face, leaving three deep gashes. "You're not the only one who can play rough!" she hissed, landing nimbly beside Teela.

Glimmer appeared in a flash of light, her hands glowing as she unleashed a pulse of magic that knocked Evil-Lyn off balance. "You think you're the only one who can throw sparkles around?" she quipped.

Teela, momentarily stunned by the sudden reinforcements, glanced at Catra. "Not bad."

"Don't mention it," Catra replied, smirking.

Duncan took the opportunity to launch a precise blow at Trap-Jaw, disarming him. "Looks like we owe you one," he said to Bow, who grinned.

"Don't mention it," Bow said, echoing Catra's words.

Elsewhere in the forest, Prince Adam and Cringer were making their way through the dense undergrowth.

"Come on, Cringer," Adam urged.

Cringer, padding nervously behind him, whimpered. "Adam, are you sure about this? The Evergreen Forest is so full of... danger!"

"That's exactly why we need to catch up with Duncan, Orko and Teela," Adam said firmly. "They might need our help."

Suddenly, the sound of shouting and clashing weapons reached their ears. Adam stopped, his head snapping toward the direction of the noise.

"That sounds like a fight!" he exclaimed, breaking into a run.

Cringer hesitated, his tail flicking nervously. "Oh, why do I always let him talk me into these things?" he groaned, reluctantly following.

The sounds grew louder as they approached, and Adam's expression hardened. "Whatever's happening, it's close. We need to be ready."

"Ready for what?" Cringer whimpered. "Trouble?"

"Always," Adam replied grimly as he pulled out a silver sword and held it up. "By the Power of Grayskull!"

A vibrant surge of energy filled the air as a dazzling beam of light cascaded from above, enveloping him completely.

The atmosphere was charged with tension as the frenzied battle suddenly ceased, every gaze fixated on the dazzling beam of light. Evil-Lyn squinted against the brightness, her frustration evident in a low growl.

"What now?" she growled.

"What is that?" Glimmer asked, eyes wide.

"Hope," Duncan replied, a faint smile of relief breaking through his grim expression. "He's here."

"Looks like Skeletor's lackeys are in trouble now," Teela added, gripping her staff tightly but no longer as tense.

Orko chimed in, hovering excitedly. "Oh, this is about to get real good!"

Adora stared at the light ahead of them, eyes wide with surprise and wonder.

"That magic... it feels like... mine..." she muttered to herself in amazement.

Meanwhile, the energy around Adam began to swirl like a storm, the pressure building impossibly high until...

"I! Have! The power!" Adam bellowed, his voice deeper and resonating with newfound strength as the energy transformed him. With each piece of armor that attached to him,Adam's slender frame broadened, his muscles growing as his stature became more imposing.

The light dissipated when the transformation was complete and the warrior known as He-Man stood in Adam's place, his silver sword shining with an ethereal light. His simple attire was replaced by sleek black and gray armor, breast plated with his insignia, metallic bracers gleaming on his wrists, and knee-high neon-lit boots completing the look.

Cringer yelped in alarm and leapt away, but before he could get very far, He-Man turned to him with a knowing grin, aimed his sword at him and used its power to transform him as well.

Cringer quickly became a significantly larger version of himself, growing to three times his usual size. He was now adorned in dark-red battle armor that covered his back and legs, complemented by a hefty helmet. His claws had also increased in size and sharpness, far exceeding their normal form.

Cringer—now Battle Cat—roared as He-Man hopped onto his back.

The newly-transformed duo charged forward, the ground trembling beneath their powerful strides.

He-Man and Battle Cat quickly arrived on the battlefield, which was followed by a collective gasp from the Best Friends Squad. Battle Cat skidded to a stop, snarling ferociously at the group of Skeletor's minions.

Evil-Lyn's visage twisted in anger at the sight of the two.

He-Man surveyed the scene before speaking. "Duncan, Teela, Orko—it looks like I made it just in time. Oh, and... welcome to Eternia," he added, glancing briefly at the newcomers. His tone was casual, yet it carried a commanding presence that left no room for doubt.

The strange band of travelers exchanged glances among themselves while He-Man vaulted off Battle Cat's back and landed on the ground with a graceful poise that spoke of countless battles fought and survived.

Without waiting for introductions, He-Man stepped forward toward the trio of villains.

"Oh, great," Trap-Jaw grumbled, his mechanical claw tightening. "Here comes the muscle-bound nuisance."

Evil-Lyn scowled, her calculating gaze locked on He-Man. "He always finds a way to meddle," she hissed.

Beast Man growled and charged recklessly, his massive frame barreling toward He-Man. With effortless precision, He-Man sidestepped, grabbing Beast Man by the arm and tossing him aside like a rag as he was about to regain his footing, Battle Cat lunged at him with fierce intent. The two of them unleashed powerful roars, their claws clashing in a violent display of the deep-seated animosity they held for one another.

Trap-Jaw fired a barrage of lasers from his arm cannon, but He-Man deflected the blasts with his sword. The energy bolts ricocheted harmlessly into the surrounding trees, illuminating the forest with flashes of light.

The Best Friends Squad stood in sheer awe, while Duncan, Teela, and Orko observed nonchalantly, entirely accustomed to the spectacle before them.

Adora, however, couldn't help but feel a strange connection to the powerful warrior, her heart pounding in sync with his every move.

"Whoa," Catra muttered, her eyes narrowing as she watched He-Man effortlessly hold his own against the formidable foes.

"Who is this guy?" Glimmer commented.

"He-Man," Teela replied, turning to the newcomers. "Our world's greatest champion."

"And... the giant cat?" Catra questioned slowly.

"Battle Cat." Duncan answered. "He-Man's steed."

"Just like how Swift Wind is She-Ra's steed..." Glimmer whispered to Catra.

"He looks... strong," Bow whispered, his brow furrowed in awe.

"More like over-the-top," Catra quipped.

Bow leaned closer to Glimmer. "He kind of reminds me of She-Ra," he murmured.

Catra folded her arms, an eyebrow raised. "A little too much like She-Ra."

"Yeah," Glimmer agreed, her gaze lingering on He-Man. "Even his sword looks a lot like hers."

"She-Ra?" Teela asked, her brow furrowing in confusion.

Duncan's expression grew more curious. "Who is this She-Ra you're talking about?"

Adora, standing silently beside her friends, tightened her grip on the Sword of Protection. She watched He-Man move with confidence and composure, his power evident in every motion. There was something oddly familiar about him—a feeling she couldn't explain, stirring deep within her.

Then, as if sensing her thoughts, He-Man's gaze met hers. For a fleeting moment, recognition flickered in his eyes, but the connection was broken when Evil-Lyn unleashed another surge of dark magic. The wave of energy struck He-Man, sending him skidding back across the clearing.

Adora's heart pounded. Without thinking, she stepped forward, raising her sword high. A familiar surge of warmth and power flowed through her. The words escaped her lips instinctively:

"For the honor... of Grayskull!"

A brilliant golden light engulfed her, rivaling the earlier spectacle of He-Man's transformation. The clearing fell silent, all eyes turning toward Adora as her form changed. When the light faded, she stood tall and radiant, clad in shimmering white and gold armor. Her sword gleamed with an inner fire, and her presence exuded strength and grace.

Duncan's jaw dropped, and Teela stared in stunned silence.

Even Orko, usually the most excitable of the group, hovered quietly, his eyes wide with disbelief.

"Amazing..." Duncan finally managed to whisper, his gaze locked onto Adora's transformed figure. "She too can call down the power..."

"How... How is this possible?" Teela stammered.

He-Man, still recovering from Evil-Lyn's attack, looked up at Adora with a surprised yet approving look.

Evil-Lyn's sneer deepened. "Another one? No matter. We'll crush you all."

As He-Man finally stood up, She-Ra leapt over and stood beside him.

"Looks like I'm not the only one with a few surprises," he remarked. "I'm He-Man. Nice to meet you."

She-Ra nodded, her eyes meeting his. "And I'm She-Ra."

Evil-Lyn scoffed, her patience wearing thin. "Enough with the introductions! Let's finish this!"

With a swift motion, she summoned a vortex of dark energy, aiming it at the duo. He-Man and She-Ra exchanged a glance, then moved in unison, their swords clashing against the incoming assault. The energy dissipated, leaving behind a cloud of dust.

"Impressive," He-Man commented, a hint of admiration in his voice. "But we're not done yet."

She-Ra nodded, her eyes scanning the battlefield. "Agreed. We need to end this quickly."

Trap-Jaw, undeterred by their combined might, charged forward, his mechanical arm whirring menacingly. He-Man stepped in front of She-Ra, his sword deflecting the incoming strike. "You're going to have to do better than that," he taunted.

Beast Man, enraged by Battle Cat's relentless attacks, let out a deafening roar and launched himself at the feline warrior until Catra knocked him away with a flying sidekick.

"Hold it, furball! We weren't done dancing yet!" she stated.

Evil-Lyn hissed and raised her staff. The orb at its tip crackled with violet energy, ready to unleash a spell upon He-Man and She-Ra while they were distracted.

However, before she could cast it, a flash of light momentarily blinded her. Glimmer, her staff aglow with magical energy, appeared in front of her, her expression determined.

"Not today, witch," Glimmer declared, her staff clashing against Evil-Lyn's, canceling out the spell. The impact sent both women staggering back, but Glimmer recovered quicker, her eyes narrowing.

Evil-Lyn snarled before smiling evilly, her eyes flashing with malice. "How cute. You think yourself a sorceress? Do not make me laugh. You're just a child playing dress-up. You can't hope to defeat me!"

Glimmer smirked. "Maybe. But I've got something you don't," Glimmer retorted, her voice steady.

Evil-Lyn raised an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued. "Oh, and what might that be?"

Glimmer smiled, her eyes gleaming with confidence. "Friends."

As if on cue, Bow stepped forward, his bowstring taut with an arrow aimed at Evil-Lyn. "And we stick together, no matter what."

Trap-Jaw dropped down near Bow, his cannon ready to fire. "Not so fast."

Surprised, Bow spun around and took aim at Trap-Jaw. In a split second, they both unleashed their shots, the energy bolt narrowly missing the arrow as it zipped past. They both took hits and collapsed heavily onto the ground.

Bow groaned, clutching his side, while Trap-Jaw lay 's arrow had struck true, piercing directly into Trap-Jaw's cannon and triggering a small explosion. Sparks erupted from the damaged weapon, crackling with a fierce electric energy.

"Bow!" Glimmer cried, filled with worry for her boyfriend.

Evil-Lyn, seething with rage, turned her attention back to Glimmer.

"You dare challenge me, you insignificant brat?" she spat, raising her staff.

Before she could cast her spell, Catra intervened, grabbing her from behind. "Not today, pointy," she declared. "You wanna take a swing at someone? Try me!"

Evil-Lyn's eyes narrowed, her evil smile filled with sadism. "Very well." Evil-Lyn's voice dripped with venom as she wrenched free from Catra's grasp, spinning around to face her. "I'll enjoy crushing you like the insect you are."

Catra smirked, unfazed. "Big words from someone who's already been beaten by the best."

Evil-Lyn's eyes flashed with anger, and she raised her staff, ready to unleash a deadly spell. But before she could, a blur of movement intercepted her. Adora, still in her She-Ra form, dashed forward and slammed her sword against Evil-Lyn's staff, knocking it from her grasp.

The dark sorceress stumbled back, caught off guard by the sudden intervention.

"Thanks," Catra muttered, her eyes flicking to Adora before returning to Evil-Lyn. "But I had it handled."

Adora shrugged, a small smile playing on her lips. "I know. But I owed you one."

Evil-Lyn, regaining her composure, snarled. "You'll pay for that!"

Adora squinted fiercely as she swung her sword, unleashing a powerful surge of energy that propelled Evil-Lyn through the forest, toppling several trees along the way.

The dark sorceress crashed into a thick trunk, her body slumping limply to the ground.

Panting slightly, Adora lowered her sword, her eyes scanning the battlefield. Beast Man lay unconscious, pinned beneath Battle Cat's massive paw, while Trap-Jaw remained motionless, his mechanical arm twitching weakly. The clearing was filled with the groans of the defeated and the relieved sighs of the victorious.

He-Man approached Adora, his expression thoughtful. "You're quite powerful, She-Ra. And skilled. Where did you learn to fight like that?"

Adora glanced at him with a smile. "Years of practice, I guess. And you're not so bad yourself."

He-Man chuckled, extending a hand towards her. "I'm glad we're on the same side.

Adora shook his hand firmly. "Likewise."

Beast Man snarled in frustration as he went over and picked up Trap-Jaw, "This isn't over!" he vowed before quickly disappearing into the forest.

Evil-Lyn, now awake, lingered a moment longer, her calculating gaze sweeping over She-Ra and He-Man. With a wave of her staff, she vanished in a swirl of violet energy.

As silence fell over the clearing, Duncan turned to Bow, Catra, and Glimmer. "That was most impressive display. You've earned our gratitude—and my trust."

"Likewise," Glimmer replied, offering her hand. Duncan clasped it firmly, a gesture of newfound camaraderie.

Teela gave Catra a small nod. "You're pretty handy in a fight."

"Tell me something I don't know," Catra replied, grinning, but her expression softened. "Thanks for having our backs, though."

Orko floated over to Bow, his hat askew and his face beaming. "You've got great aim! Maybe you could give me some pointers?"

Bow chuckled. "Maybe if you teach me some magic first."

Adora and He-Man exchanged a glance as they stood slightly apart, observing the tentative alliance forming between their groups. He-Man's voice broke the moment. "Looks like we've got quite the team here."

Adora nodded, her gaze lingering on him. "Yeah... we do."

He-Man then swung himself onto Battle Cat's saddle with practiced ease, his massive sword resting at his side. He surveyed the group below, his expression calm and assured. "You're in good hands with Duncan, Teela, and Orko. They'll help you find the answers you're looking for."

"But wait!" Adora called out, taking a step forward as she transformed back to normal. "I still have questions—for you."

He-Man gave her a small smile, but his tone was resolute. "Another time, perhaps. Stay safe."

With that, he urged Battle Cat forward, the mighty feline roaring before bounding off into the forest. Adora stared after him, frustration flickering across her face. "Does he always do that?"

Teela, still catching her breath from the fight, nodded. "Pretty much. Don't take it personally. He's always been... mysterious."

Adora turned to her, her brow furrowed. "Is there a way to contact him? Or find out where he lives?"

Teela shook her head. "Nope. He just shows up when we need him and disappears just as fast. None of us know where he stays."

Catra, standing nearby, folded her arms as she glanced at Duncan and Orko. She noticed that both of them had odd expressions on their faces and narrowed her eyes suspiciously. "Right..."

Duncan stepped forward, his voice steady. "I know you have questions—about Skeletor and his minions, among other things. As do we. I promise we'll explain everything, but not here. This forest isn't safe, and we need to get you to the Royal Palace first."

Before anyone could respond, a voice rang out. "I'll show them the way."

The group turned to see Adam stepping out from the shadows of the forest. Beside him, Cringer padded cautiously, his massive frame trembling slightly.

"Uh... who is...?" Glimmer began.

"Oh, that's..." Orko started to say.

"Adam," Teela finished. She walked over to the prince, stopped in front of him and crossed her arms with a stern look. "You disobeyed your father? Again? Seriously Adam. Sneaking out of the palace like that? What were you thinking?"

Adam gave her an easy grin, shrugging. "What can I say? I wanted to see what all the fuss was about."

Teela rolled her eyes, muttering, "You're impossible."

"Hey, I consider it one of my many charms." Adam casually reasoned.

Teela smirked. "It's something, alright."

The banter made Bow and Glimmer exchange raised brows before sharing knowing smiles.

Adam turned to the newcomers, offering a friendly wave. "Hi there. I am Adam, Prince of Eternia. And this—" he gestured to the tiger, who gave a nervous mewl, "is Cringer. My fearless friend."

"Fearless?" Catra said, raising an eyebrow.

Cringer whimpered, his ears flattening. "I-I try my best…"

"He can talk?" Glimmer asked in disbelief.

Adam tilted his head. "Well, doesn't everybody?"

After a pause, Glimmer spoke. "This place is weird."

Adam's gaze soon met Adora's. For a moment, the two simply stared at one another. There was no explanation for it, but something passed between them—a connection neither of them could articulate.

"Uh... hi." Adam slowly said.

"Hi... I'm... Adora..." The ponytailed blonde said just as slowly.

"It's... nice to meet you, Adora." Adam nodded with a friendly smile before tilting his head. "Have... we met before."

"No... and yet... I feel like... we have." Adora admitted, her brow furrowed in confusion.

Adam's smile faded, replaced by a thoughtful expression. "Huh. That's... interesting."

Adora felt her heart skip a beat as she studied him, a strange warmth filling her chest. Adam, for his part, seemed equally transfixed, his confident demeanor faltering for just a moment before he cleared his throat and looked away.

Teela cleared her throat, drawing their attention. "As much as I'd love to stand here all day discussing feelings and connections, we really should get moving. It won't be long before Skeletor sends more of his lackeys to investigate."

Duncan nodded in agreement. "She's right. The Royal Palace is the safest place for you all right now.

"Right," Adam said, gesturing toward the forest path. "The Royal Palace is this way. Follow me."

As the group fell into step behind him, Adora couldn't shake the feeling that meeting Adam was no mere coincidence.

Within the shadowy confines of Snake Mountain, Skeletor sat upon his jagged, bone-like throne. The air in the throne room was thick with the acrid scent of brimstone, the dim light casting eerie shadows across the walls. Before him knelt Evil-Lyn, Beast Man, and Trap-Jaw, their postures submissive but tense as they recounted the events of their failed mission.

"And then," Evil-Lyn concluded with a hint of bitterness, "this so-called 'She-Ra' appeared, wielding a power akin to He-Man's. She turned the tide of the battle."

Skeletor's red eyes burned like embers beneath his dark purple cowl. He gripped his ram-headed staff tightly, his knuckles whitening. "You let them defeat you?" he hissed, his voice seething with rage. "You imbeciles! I send you on a simple task—to capture a source of power unmatched—and you return empty-handed!"

Beast Man flinched, baring his teeth nervously. "W-we tried, Master! They were... tougher than we thought!"

"Tougher than you thought, you flea-bitten oaf!" Skeletor snapped, slamming his staff onto the stone floor. "And you!" He turned his glare toward Trap-Jaw. "What excuse do you have, you malfunctioning tin can?"

Trap-Jaw's mechanical jaw clanked as he stammered, "She-Ra... She was... too fast. Even He-Man didn't..."

Skeletor cut him off with a wave of his hand, his voice dripping with scorn. "Enough! You're all useless! If I want something done right, it seems I'll have to do it myself."

Evil-Lyn, still on her knees, raised her head slightly, her tone shifting to calculated curiosity. "Master, this She-Ra... could she be related to He-Man? The resemblance is uncanny, and her power—it felt... ancient."

Skeletor leaned back in his throne, his fury giving way to a cold, calculating demeanor. He tapped his clawed fingers against the armrest, his hollow gaze fixated on the distant horizon. "A female He-Man," he mused, his voice low and thoughtful. "Interesting... and irritating. He-Man alone is a thorn in my side, but now there's another—stronger, perhaps? More reckless?"

His skeletal grin widened malevolently. "I must know where she came from, why she's here on Eternia, and, most importantly, how to strip that power from her."

He straightened, his voice sharp and commanding. "Tri-Klops!"

From the shadows emerged a tall, broad-shouldered man clad in green and black armor. His distinctive helmet bore three rotating optical lenses, each glowing faintly. His expression was stoic, his loyalty unquestionable.

"Yes, Lord Skeletor," Tri-Klops intoned, bowing slightly.

"I want you to watch the Royal Palace closely," Skeletor instructed. "Keep your eyes on this... She-Ra. Find out everything you can about her—where she came from, why she's here, what she wants. Learn her strengths, her weaknesses... everything."

Tri-Klops nodded, his tone unwavering. "It shall be done."

"And when the opportunity arises," Skeletor continued, his voice dropping to a sinister whisper, "bring her to me—dead or barely alive. Her power will be mine!"

Evil-Lyn smirked at the thought, Beast Man growled in approval, and Trap-Jaw nodded grimly.

Skeletor's sinister laughter echoed through the halls of Snake Mountain, a chilling sound that promised chaos and destruction.
