Hello I am back and here is another chapter of this crazy Idea. Hope you enjoy this short chapter.

The Warriors of the Dragon Lineage, renowned warriors. It is unknown in what period of history they appeared however it is stated to be during the times when the Dragons, the archfiends and even Gods roamed the earth.

As this bloodline was sole responsible of sealing the Dark Dragons and archfiend who were the cause behind the extinction of the Dragons and the Exile of the Gods on this Realm. And were present during the pact in which the dark realm wouldn't interfere with the human realm giving the task to these warriors and their descendants the sole purpose of safeguarding this peace.

However, this pact would be circumvented and tested for thousands of years either by humans or fiend. But as these threats made themselves known over the ages, so are the warriors' descendants who through the shadows wield their blades to keep the peace.

And as time goes on, empire falls, nation disappears and words lose their meaning, so they took a name of their own.

Thus, the Hayabusa Ninja Clan came to be.

A small clan compared to most, yet mysterious to many ninja clans, only a select few clans are aware of them and it's only through previous encounters dating hundreds of years apart from each other. For example it is said that to gather information about the Hayabusa it takes a single clan 7 generations both of encounters and accumulation of rumors on the grapevine of the clan to know the whisper of their names.

Among those who had history with the Hayabusa are Mugen Tenshin, Igawa/Hattori/Iga, Koukawa/Koga, Fuuma, Kamikaze and KuronoKumo

Mugen Tenshin: who is younger clan than the Hayabusa yet never had a conflict but rather an amicable alliance rare with Shinobi's given that all clan's liked being linked by blood through marriage. Its very strange to see no bad blood

Igawa/Iga/Hattori and Koukawa/Koga: Are an example of Clan who would know of the Hayabusa over 7 generations with new restructuring of their clans head's namesake. A hot and cold relationship depending of the era if it was times of war or times peace and who they supported, or the current clan head's policy for Diplomacy against other Shinobi. All this together made them skip having an encounter with a Hayabusa for a generation or having the misfortune making themselves aware of their existence and most of the cases ended in bloodshed for these clans who went against the Hayabusa clan's interest to keep their covenant.

Fuuma: A clan who has more than once a generation being headbutting with the Hayabusa for ages in strange circumstances. Curious fact it was in one of this clashes that one of the Fuuma Kotaro met his end at the hands of one of Mugen Tenshin's sect and kept their Blades as a Trophy.

Kamikaze: A clan which descends from the Kitsune, infamous for their usage of powerful forbidden Dark arts which risked the balance of the world which made them become targets of the Hayabusa. They had been in obscurity ever since the Sengoku Period.

Kuronokumo: A clan composed of those who descended from human tribes worshipers of Fiends and those of Fiend bloodline which have who through ages have been in conflict with the Hayabusa Ninja Clan and those of the Dragon Lineage killing each other at the mere presence of the other. As a result, they harbor a deep hatred for the other but have always come up short in terms of capability compared to their bitter rivalry. During the modern era, an elderly ninja assumed position as head of the Black Spider Clan. He sought to expand and globalize the Black Ninja Clan. From activities of smuggling to taking a weapon's factory to build the Daedalus, he succeeded in amassing vast resources to the clan despite some members feeling he wasn't "ninja material". During this period, much of the Black Spider Clan had internal problems with the philosophies undertaken by members and their swaying towards more wicked enterprises instead of destroying the Hayabusa.

Each clan dates back 700 years with the oldest being Kurokumo 1500 years and Mugen Tenshin 1300 years. With most clans who encountered the Hayabusa were during the Heian Period (794 –1185) when the great Yokai Otakemaru went on a rampage, Kamakura Period(1185-1333) during the Mongol Invasion where the mongols brought strange sorcery that threatened the balance of nation and the Sengoku Period (1467-1568) when Lord Oda Nobunaga(1534-1582) still draw breath were gifted boon in the form of a castle before his demise and the encounter of a british man whose sorcery resembled that of the Mongols.

However, despite this many encounters over the ages not a single member has been recognized publicly by name... until the Heisei Period (1989-2019), where a young Jo Hayabusa was introduced to a list of intelligence agencies as a person of interest and highly dangerous.

This at the same time placed a target on the young man's back, this made most ninja clan who held grudge to the Hayabusa to go for the kill.

Unfortunately for them The Hayabusa's member did not maintain animosity for so long if they were easy to catch or better yet... easy to kill.

To say that at the tender age of 19 Jo's name became the definition of a boogieman in the Dark World. For he destroyed entire militias, corporation, shadow agencies, cults and ninja clans that crossed his path like a storm, or a demon.

It was during this time at the Pick of Jo's life that Ryu Hayabusa was conceived.

It happened when a young woman at Jo's antique shop in New York City was looking for articles of a particular period of history of the world, one full of human sacrifices and demon worship...

A/N:

I hope I have not disturbed the flow of the story by making a background story of how the Hayabusa clan fell.

Fun fact this Jo Hayabusa is closer to be more like the Ryu Hayabusa of the NES Trilogy/OVA who owns an antique shop in New York City. Ninja Gaiden original name was Ninja Ryukenden and has an OVA of the same name.

I made Igawa and Koukawa originally being part of the Iga and Koga given how similar their names sound how in Taimanin Asagi they are rivals the same way the Koga and Iga were. Also felt inspired by watching the Ninja Version of Romeo and Juliet: Basilisk.
