With the wedding day drawing nearer, Gwen needs to be more on her guard than ever especially since the Devil has been getting more craftier with his kidnapping attempts.

One day, Gwen was about to leave the cottage when she catches a glimpse of a certain demon waiting outside for her.

"Ugh. He's never gonna stop." Gwen quietly groaned to herself.

Having another idea, she uses her cloning trick again to distract the Devil. He quickly takes off after the clone, making Gwen snicker.

"He bought it… again." Gwen said.

Gwen quickly teleports out of the cottage and heads into town to look around for gift ideas for her fiancée and her family for Christmas. She visited a few stores for ideas but to no avail. She wanted her gifts to be special and have meaning.

"All these things are nice, but I want my presents to be special." Gwen said to herself.

Gwen disappeared back in her room at the cottage and laid in bed to rest. Just then, she caught another glimpse of one of her travel magazines and picked it up. It featured the country of Scotland.

"Eh, what the heck?" Gwen said to herself.

Gwen packed her satchel and lifted her ink pen. This time she didn't do the countdown, knowing exactly what would happen. She tapped the ink pen and then…

"SURPRISE!" All three cups exclaimed as the jumped on her shoulders.

They appear in a town in the highlands.

"Okay, where's this place this time?" Ms. Chalice asked.

"Guys, welcome to Glasgow, Scotland." Gwen announced.

"Glasgow?" Both cups asked.

"Scotland?" Ms. Chalice asked.

"Aye lass." Gwen answered.

"Hey, just like Darcy." Cuphead said.

"Yeah, but instead of Ireland, this is Scotland." Gwen said.

"Oh." All three cups said.

"Come on, let's go." Gwen said.

"YAY!" The cups cheered.

Gwen summons her magic carpet Cerulean Bolt, and they fly out of Glasgow and arrive at the ancient castle Edinburgh Castle. While they were in Edinburgh, they visit the Scottish National Gallery and looked at fine art from the early Renaissance. Afterwards, they visit the Edinburgh Zoo and looked at all the exotic animals. Then they flew to and explore the Scottish Highlands.

They return to Glasgow to have lunch and stop at a restaurant. Gwen orders cock-a-leekie soup, tattie scones, stovies and scotch pie. Later, she orders cranachan, shortbread and tea cookies for dessert.

"So, what do you guys think?" Gwen asked.

"This is awesome!" Ms. Chalice said as she was eating.

"Yeah, I've never seen so many men wearing skirts." Cuphead said.

"Kilts." Gwen corrected him.

"Yeah, the Highlands were beautiful, and the castles were amazing." Mugman said.

"Yeah. It's nice to be traveling together." Gwen said.

"Amen to that. We learn more about the human world each time." Cuphead said.

They continued eating until Gwen noticed a young red-headed teenage girl trying to plead a police officer for help.
"I beg of you officer! The fish have vanished, and my village will be starving soon! I beg of you to help us!" The teenager begged.

"I'm sorry lassie, but there is nothing we can do!" The police officer rudely declined and leaves her.

The teenage girl is distraught and sadly turns to leave. Gwen feels bad for the girl and decided to talk to her.

"Excuse me." Gwen said.

"What do you want?" The girl asked.

"I kinda overhead you say something about fish disappearing?" Gwen asked.

"Aye, I come from a fisherman village St. Abbs. We were thrivin' fishers but recently, fish have disappeared. We tried switching bait, switch fishing spots, tried certain time of the day. But nothing worked, the fish are all gone. We need help or my village will starve to death." The girl told her dire situation.

"Oh my. That's terrible." Gwen answered, feeling sympathy.

"Aye, thanks lass." The girl thanked.

"What's your name?" Gwen asked.

"Freya Loughty. And you are?" Freya introduced herself.

"Gwendolyn Mae Emmons. You can call me Gwen." Gwen introduced.

"Nice to meet you. Why are you interested in my problem?" Freya asked.

"I think I might be able to help you out." Gwen offered.

"How? How can you find our fish and save my village?" Freya asked.

"It sounds like somethings driving the fish away. Was there anything unusual? Out of the ordinary?" Gwen asked.

Freya thought for a moment.

"Nothing much to go on just people throwing plant waste into the waters." Freya said.

"Hmm. Maybe I'll head over there and take a look." Gwen said.

Gwen started her way back to her friends as Freya followed.

"Gwen! I traveled a long way to Glasgow to find help. What can you do?" Freya asked.

"What can Gwen do? Gwen can do so many things!" Cuphead answered.

Freya gasped in shock.

"Och! Your head! It's a cup!" Freya exclaimed.

"Uh, yeah lady. We ain't from around here." Mugman added.

Freya stared in shock at the three cups.

"Oh, these are my best friends. Cuphead, Mugman and Ms. Chalice." Gwen introduced.

"Hiya sister." Ms. Chalice greeted and tapped danced.

"Wow, you have tassies for heads." Freya said, amazed.

"What's a tassie?" Mugman asked.

"It means 'cup' laddie." Freya answered.

"Oh." Cuphead and Ms. Chalice said.

"Freya, do me a favor and don't freak out." Gwen said as she grabbed her satchel.

"Why?" Freya asked.

"You'll see." Cuphead said.

Gwen opened her satchel, and Cerulean Bolt flew out and stood on two tassels. Freya gasped in shock.

"A flying carpet!" Freya exclaimed.

"Yeah, this is Cerulean Bolt. He's my magic carpet." Gwen introduced as Cerulean Bolt waved.

"Pure dead brilliant!" Freya exclaimed.

"Which direction is St. Abbs?" Gwen asked.

"To the east on the eastern coast." Freya answered.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Cuphead said excitedly.

The group hop on the magic carpet. Freya nervously climbs on then Cerulean Bolt started flying up in the sky.

"Och! This is all real!" Freya exclaimed.

They fly to the east as Freya looked at the sights from above.

"You like it?" Gwen asked.

"Aye. Pure dead brilliant." Freya answered.

"Okay, I'll ask. What does that mean?" Mugman asked.

"It's another way of saying something's extraordinary or amazing." Freya answered.

"Oh." Cuphead and Ms. Chalice said.

They start approaching the fishing village on the eastern coast.

"This is it! St. Abbs!" Freya said.

The group landed in the village and Gwen packed Cerulean Bolt back in her satchel.

"Alright, where's your fishing grounds?" Gwen asked.

"Follow me." Freya said.

Freya leads the group to the harbor where the fishing boats are docked. Just then an older bearded man approached the group. Just then, a little Westie terrier white dog came running up to Freya.

"Blizzard!" Freya exclaimed and picked up Blizzard as he licked her face.

"Woof!" Blizzard barked.

"Freya! You have returned very quick!" The older man said.

"Aye dad! I brought some friends here to help." Freya explained to her father.

Freya's father looked at Gwen and the cups.

"Uh, lass? Ma heid's mince." Freya's father said, feeling confused.

"Gwen said she would help discover why the fish have vanished." Freya said.

"Yes sir. We're here to help." Gwen said.

"Lass, how do you plan to find the fish?" Freya's father asked.

"I'll need to sail out and find anything unusual. See what's driving the fish away. Do you have a boat I could borrow mister…?" Gwen asked.

"Callum Loughty. And aye, I have a boat. My hen will take you out there." Callum said and showed them his boat.

"Thanks dad." Freya thanked.

"Now, get hoachin'! The people are going to starve soon!" Callum said.

"Aye father! Haste ye back!" Freya called.

The group hop aboard the fishing boat and Callum helps them cast off. Freya sets Blizzard down and sails the boat out to the open water. They sailed, looking for clues around the water.

"Uh, Freya? Where are we?" Cuphead asked.

"The fishing grounds lad. This is a big fishing spot. Now, it's empty." Freya answered.

"Ooh, are these your fishing poles?" Ms. Chalice asked as she was about to grab a pole until Freya stopped her.

"Gonnae no' dae that!" Freya scolded.

"What?" Ms. Chalice asked.

"I think she means don't do that." Gwen answered.

"Aye, Gwen. These fishing poles are very precious to us." Freya explained.

"Chalice, just keep looking for clues." Gwen said.

"Fine." Ms. Chalice said and looked out at the water.

"Uh guys? What's that green stuff over there?" Mugman asked.

The group looked and noticed a bunch of green ferns covering much of the waters.

"Water fern." Freya answered.

Gwen took a closer look at the fern.

"Wait a minute. I've seen this kind of fern before from America. This isn't native to Scotland. I think you're dealing with an invasive species." Gwen said, figuring it out.

"Invasive species? This green stuff is contaminating the waters, killing and chasing away our fish?" Freya asked.

"Exactly." Gwen confirmed.

"I got one question. How do we get rid of this stuff? There's too much fern we can't just rake it out of here." Freya asked.

Gwen got out her ink pen and tried to think of an idea.

"We can't remove it on our own. Which means, I need to think big." Gwen said as her magic inkwell started glowing.

"That bottle! It's glowing!" Freya exclaimed.

Blizzard started barking.

"Inkwell. This is the magic inkwell." Gwen corrected her.

"Magic inkwell? Ma heid's mince." Freya said.

"I can use magic. If I somehow had a big enough force, I might be able to remove all of it. I need to think big." Gwen said.

Just then, Mugman noticed something.
"Gwen! What's happening to you?" Mugman asked.

"You're growing big!" Cuphead exclaimed.

Gwen just noticed she was growing big and quickly jumped off the boat into the water, only for her growing size to help her stand up as she grew taller until she stopped.

"Woah! That's new!" Ms. Chalice said, looking up at Gwen.

Freya stood shocked at what she had just witnessed.

"You… are… magic!" Freya exclaimed.

Gwen kept her composure without making sudden moves.

Ms. Chalice shapeshifted into her ghost form, making Freya gasp. She flew up to Gwen's face.

"Cool trick girlfriend!" Ms. Chalice said.

"Thanks." Gwen whispered.

Ms. Chalice looked at the water fern.

"Try scooping the fern in your hand. But be very careful and don't make any waves." Ms. Chalice suggested.

Gwen carefully reached her large hand and gently scooped a big handful of the water fern in her hand and lifted it out of the water.

"Now, destroy it!" Ms. Chalice said.

Gwen took off her silver bracelet and set the water fern on fire and burned in her hand.

"Nice girlfriend! Keep it up!" Ms. Chalice encouraged.

"Yay Gwen!" Cuphead cheered.

"Do it again!" Mugman called.

Gwen smiled at her friends and kept scooping up the water fern and burning them to ashes and disposed of them away from the water until all the water fern was gone.

"Woohoo! You did it girlfriend!" Ms. Chalice cheered as she flew around Gwen's head.

Gwen quietly sighed of relief.

Just then, she noticed she was shrinking back down, making her gasp. Cuphead quickly got Cerulean Bolt out of her satchel and sent him to catch Gwen falling from the sky. She is restored to her normal size as Ms. Chalice turned back into her living form and joined Gwen on the flying carpet.

"That was awesome girlfriend! You can grow giant now!" Ms. Chalice complimented.

"Thanks, Chalice. I think the inkwell took it literally when I said I needed to think big." Gwen guessed.

"Hey, that came in handy." Ms. Chalice said as he put her hand on her shoulder.

Gwen smiled as Cerulean Bolt flew them back down to the fishing boat. Gwen and Ms. Chalice both hopped off. Both Cuphead and Mugman jump in Gwen's arms.

"Yay! You got rid of the water fern!" Cuphead exclaimed.

"That's our Gweny!" Mugman added.

Suddenly, something caught Freya's eye.

"Och! Look!" Freya exclaimed and pointed.

The group looked and noticed schools of fish swimming back to the fishing grounds.

"Fish!" Cuphead exclaimed.

Freya turns on the boat and sails back to the harbor. They docked the boat, and Freya informs Callum of the situation, and the fish are returning.

"Hurry everyone! We must start fishin' right away!" Callum called.

All the fishermen including Freya get on their boats with their equipment and sail off to the fishing grounds while Gwen and the cups waited back on the mainland.

Later, the fishing boats returned with large amounts of fish caught in their nets. Freya hops off the boat and quickly hugged Gwen.

"Gwen! You did it! You brought back the fish!" Freya happily exclaimed.

"WHOO HOO!" All three cups cheered.

Later, a celebration was held with a feast of fish dishes. The cups happily dined on fish and chips as Gwen and Freya socialized. Blizzard hopped up on the table and licked Gwen's face. After the celebration, it was time for Gwen and the cups to head back home.

"Gwen! Will I see you tomorrow? I wanna show you Loch Lake!" Freya asked excitedly.

"Um, sure. Why there?" Gwen asked.

"I need your help to find the Loch Ness Monster. To know if it's real or not." Freya answered.

"Whoo! Another myth to be proven real!" Cuphead exclaimed.

"Okay, we'll come back tomorrow." Gwen said.

"Wonderful! I'll see you then!" Freya said excitedly.

Gwen and the cups wave goodbye and teleported back to the Inkwell Isles.

The next day, Freya waited for Gwen and the cups to arrive. Just then, the group appeared in front of Freya to her shock.

"Och! You're here!" Freya exclaimed.

"Yep, as promised." Gwen answered.

Cerulean Bolt flew out of Gwen's satchel, preparing to fly away. The group hop on, and Cerulean Bolt flew in the sky, heading north to Loch Lake.

"So, what is this Loch Ness Monster?" Cuphead asked.

"The Loch Ness Monster is a long-necked swimming beast of Loch Lake. People claimed to have seen it but could never prove it. That's why I asked you to come with me to help me prove it's existence." Freya explained.

"This oughta be fun." Mugman said.

"Yeah, hopefully he doesn't eat us." Ms. Chalice said.

Mugman gulped in fear.

"No lass, it doesn't eat people." Freya said.

"Phew!" Mugman sighed of relief.

"Don't worry, Cala Maria is the one who eats people." Cuphead said.

"There it is!" Freya said as she pointed.

They arrive at Loch Lake and are astounded by its beauty.

"So, how do we find this monster? This lake is huge." Gwen asked.

"We just have to look around and find her." Freya answered.

"Her?" Cuphead asked.

"Aye. She is a female. Or so I heard." Freya answered.

Cerulean Bolt flew close to the water, hoping to get a closer look. They search for a while, but to no success.

"I think it's time to give up guys. We've searched the whole lake and still nothing." Gwen said, feeling tired.

Mugman started sleeping on the magic carpet.

"I dunno. Maybe Gwen's right." Ms. Chalice said feeling tired.

Freya felt disappointed but accepted their decision.

"Alright then. We'll come back another time." Freya said.

Cerulean Bolt turns around and started to leave Loch Lake when suddenly…

BAM!

Something hit the group from below, knocking them into the water.

"What was that?!" Mugman fearfully asked.

"I don't know!" Gwen exclaimed.

Suddenly, they are lifted out of the water on something flat.

"Woah! What is that?" Cuphead asked.

"Whatever it is, it's taking us to shore!" Ms. Chalice said and pointed.

The strange surface carried them to shore. They quickly hopped off and look at the creature. A long neck rises from the water and raises its large fins.

"Och! It's her! Nessie!" Freya exclaimed.

"Is that her name?" Mugman asked.

"Aye." Freya answered.

The group stared in shock at the Loch Ness Monster before them.

"Uh… hello?" Cuphead nervously greeted.

Nessie looked closer at the cups and sniffed them.

"What's she doing?" Mugman asked.

"I think she's studying you tassies. She's never seen the likes of you before." Freya answered.

"Well, she's never seen talking cups before." Ms. Chalice said.

Nessie turned her attention to Gwen and sniffed her. To her surprise, Nessie lowered her head down to Gwen and started sniffing her.

"Why is Nessie sniffing you, Gwen?" Freya asked.

"I… I don't know." Gwen hesitantly answered.

"Nessie knows human scent, but you are new to her." Freya said.

Nessie lifted her head up and nodded at the group. Then she turned to leave and dove down into the water, disappearing from sight.

"There she goes." Ms. Chalice said.

"Yep, once again being hidden from the world." Gwen said.

Freya quickly hugged Gwen again.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Freya thanked excitedly.

"For what?" Gwen asked.

"For helping me prove that Nessie is real!" Freya answered.

"You're welcome." Gwen said.

"Well, seeing is believing." Cuphead said.

"I want to see the Inkwell Isles too. Will you take me?" Freya asked.

"Well, we'll see." Gwen said.

"We can make it quick. I just want to see it." Freya insisted.

Gwen and the cups looked at each other.

"Well, I guess we can give her a quick tour then bring her home." Cuphead suggested.

"It'll be just for a while." Mugman agreed.

"Well, okay I guess." Gwen reluctantly agreed.

Freya hugged Gwen.

"Oh, thank you! Thank you!" Freya thanked.

Gwen tapped her ink pen, and the group disappeared back to the cottage in the Inkwell Isles. Freya gasped in shock at the sights and her new cartoon appearance.

"Freya, don't freak out!" Gwen quickly exclaimed.

"Okay! Okay!" Freya said, trying to get a hold of herself.

"Now then, shall we give her the tour?" Cuphead asked.

"Okay then." Gwen said.

After calming down, Freya joins Gwen and the cups on a tour of the Inkwell Isles. They took her through the forest and make their way to Inkwell City. Freya is awestruck with the sights and buildings. She is shocked that the citizens were all different from anthropomorphic objects, food, animals and plants.

Later, they grab lunch at a nearby café.

"This place is incredible! It's like being in a painting or tapestry!" Freya said as she was eating a cheeseburger.

"Yep, we hear that a lot." Cuphead said.

Freya continued eating the cheeseburger.

"Mmm! Much better than haggis!" Freya said.

"What's haggis?" Mugman asked.

"You really want to know?" Freya asked.

Mugman nodded. Freya leaned over and whispered the answer to him. Just then, Mugman's eyes widened and turned pale.

"Mugsy, yer lookin' a bit peely-wally." Freya said.

Mugman quickly runs up to a garbage can and started vomiting.

"Och! He just boked." Freya said in disgust.

"What did she say?" Ms. Chalice asked.

"Oh, she just explained that haggis is a Scottish dish that's really a sheep's stomach stuffed with kidney fat, oatmeal and seasonings." Gwen calmly explained.

"Oh." Both Cuphead and Ms. Chalice said.

Suddenly, their eyes widened.

"SHEEP'S STOMACH?!" Both cups exclaimed.

They quickly ran up to the trashcan and vomited along with Mugman.

"Och! Now they are peely-wally." Freya said.

"Don't worry. They'll get over it." Gwen said.

After vomiting, the cups weakly rejoin the girls back at the table.

"Please never bring up that dish again." Cuphead weakly pleaded.

"Aye lad." Freya agreed.

"Just stick to the fish and chips." Gwen suggested.

"Noted." Mugman said.

Just then, something caught Freya's eye.

"Och! That's the biggest tattie I've ever seen!" Freya exclaimed.

"What's a tattie?" Ms. Chalice asked.

Gwen looks outside the window and recognizes three familiar faces.

"Oh no! Not them!" Gwen groaned and facepalmed.

The cups looked outside and recognized the trio.

"It's those freeloadin' jerks!" Cuphead exclaimed.

"What are they doing here?" Mugman asked.

"Freeloading jerks?" Freya asked.

"I'll fill you in." Gwen said.

Gwen explained the trio are known as the Root Pack and they are known to be conmen, party lovers, and liars. She also mentioned her first time being conned by them and how Cuphead and Mugman saved her.

"Och! They sound like trouble!" Freya exclaimed.

"Yes, don't trust anything they say. They'll do anything for quick money and parties." Gwen warned.

Gwen pays the bill, and the group leave the restaurant.

"That was wonderful Gwen. This world is wonderful." Freya complimented.

"And meeting Nessie was wonderful too." Gwen said.

"So, what do you guys wanna do now?" Cuphead asked.

Before they could decide they hear a familiar voice call to them.

"Hey there kid!"

Gwen cringed, knowing who it was. She nervously turned around and noticed the Root Pack appearing before her with big smiles.

"You guys again! I'm in no mood for your stupid schemes!" Gwen angrily said and attempted to lead Freya and the cups away.

But Sal wraps his arm around Gwen, stopping her.

"Relax kid, we've changed our ways." Sal said.

"What?" Gwen asked in disbelief.

"Yeah kid, you helped us see the light." Chauncey said.

"Yeah, we're good guys now." Ollie added.

Gwen gave a stern look, not believing them.

"That's nice but I gotta get going." Gwen said and prepared to leave.

"Wait! We need your help!" Chauncey called.

"I recall the last time you asked me for my help! And I never forgot how that turned out!" Gwen angrily yelled.

"Wait, wasn't that when we tricked you into restoring the abandoned garden so we could throw our party?" Ollie asked as Chauncey facepalmed.

"Exactly!" Gwen angrily answered.

Ollie was about to cry until Sal slapped him.

"Stop that, Ollie! No cryin' or we're all gonna cry!" Sal scolded.

"Oh, sorry Sal!" Ollie apologized.

"Huh?" Freya asked confused.

Sal turned his attention to Freya.

"Hey, I've never seen youse before. Where you from kid?" Sal asked as he approached her.

"Uh… Scotland?" Freya nervously answered.

"Where's this Scotland?" Ollie asked.

"Oh! Is that in the human world?" Chauncey asked.

"Uh… aye?" Freya answered nervously.

"What's the matter? You never seen talking root vegetables before?" Sal asked.

"Aye. I've never seen a talking tattie, ingàn and curran before." Freya admitted.

"Huh?" The Root Pack asked questioningly.

"Och, that's the words for potato, onion and carrot in my native language lads." Freya explained.

"Oh." The Root Pack said, now understanding.

The cups snickered at Freya's words for the Root Pack.

"Guys! Don't bother my friend!" Gwen scolded.

"Easy kid, we're just introducing ourselves." Sal assured her.

"I'm Sal, this is Ollie, and this is Chauncey." Sal introduced themselves to Freya.

"Okay, we all know each other but Gwen's right we gotta get going." Cuphead said.

"Yeah, we'll be on our way." Mugman added.

"Wait, we heard you sayin' something about a… Nessie?" Sal asked.

"What do you care?" Ms. Chalice asked.

"As in… a monster?" Chauncey asked.

"Explain to me how that's any of your business?" Gwen asked suspiciously.

"Well, we wanna see if the mythical monster is real." Sal answered, trying to sound convincing.

"I don't see why you're so interested in this." Mugman said.

"We've been craving for adventure and excitement. Like youse guys." Sal answered.

Gwen gives a distrustful look.

"Nope. Not buying it. Come on guys, let's get outta here." Gwen said, losing patience.

They quickly walk away before the Root Pack could speak anymore lies.

"I don't see why they're interested in Nessie." Freya said.

"Another one of their 'get-rich-quick' schemes. Just like they did to Cuphead and Mugman in Elder Kettle's garden and when they used me the first time we met." Gwen explained.

"We should go before something happens." Cuphead said.

"I agree." Mugman added.

Gwen lifted her ink pen and tapped it, and the group disappeared back to Loch Lake.

"Let's get you home Freya." Gwen said as she summoned Cerulean Bolt.

Just then, Freya's eyes popped in shock.

"What's wrong?" Ms. Chalice asked.

Freya pointed behind them. Gwen and the cups turned around and saw the Root Pack with a whole party of vegetables before them.

"Wow! Look at this place!" Ollie exclaimed.

The vegetables are in awe and started setting up for a party.

"Thanks for bringing us here kid!" Sal taunted.

Gwen grew furious until Freya calmed her down.

"Gwen, you have every right to be furious. But I have an idea on how we can stop them." Freya assured her getting an idea.

Gwen took a deep breath as an anthropomorphic eggplant started collecting fees for the entry of the party.

Gwen, Freya and the cups run off, leaving the Root Pack confused.

"Where are they going?" Chauncey asked.

"Who cares, let's party!" Sal cheered.

All the vegetables cheered as they a jazz band started playing music and everyone else socialized. While Sal was chatting with the tomato sisters Cherry and Brandywine, they suddenly feel the earth rumbling.

"Woah! What's happening?!" Cherry fearfully asked.

"What is it? A bloomin' earthquake?!" Brandywine fearfully asked.

Suddenly, the Loch Ness monster emerged from the water, growling at the anthropomorphic vegetables. All the vegetables started screaming as they scattered, running for their lives.

Gwen was standing on Nessie's back used her ink pen to magically erase the vegetable's memories and send them back to the Inkwell Isles.

"Wait, you forgot the Root Pack!" Mugman pointed out.

"Don't you worry Mugman, Gwen's got a wee little surprise for them." Freya assured him.

Nessie looked down at the Root Pack as they squirmed in fear. Gwen used her new ability to grow giant. The Root Pack gasped in horror at Gwen's new size and trembled. She swiped the Root Pack in her fist.

"You picked the wrong time and wrong place to con me." Gwen quietly said sternly.

Suddenly, Nessie opened her jaws and lunged at the Root Pack, making them scream as she gobbled up the Root Pack from Gwen's fist.

The cups fall back on Nessie's back laughing at the Root Pack being devoured. They can hear their voices inside Nessie, begging to be let out, to Gwen's amusement.

"What do you think should we let them out?" Freya asked.

"Sure, but only if they behave themselves." Gwen answered.

Nessie started gagging and she regurgitated the Root Pack out of her mouth as they landed on the ground, hugging each other traumatized.

Gwen magically erased their memories and sends them back to the Inkwell Isles.

"That was disturbing." Mugman said.

"Disturbing yet hilarious." Cuphead snickered.

"Do you think they learned their lesson this time?" Ms. Chalice asked.

Gwen shrank herself back to normal size and rejoined her friends.

"They're gonna think this was all a nightmare and think twice before messing with me again." Gwen said.

"I know I'm gonna remember this for a long time." Freya said.

Nessie looked at the group.

"Thank ye for helping us take care of those eejits." Freya thanked as she held Nessie's head and leaned her head on hers in respect.

Gwen and the cups petted Nessie, showing their gratitude for her help.

Gwen teleports themselves back to St. Abbs to drop off Freya. Callum comes to greet them along with Blizzard.

"Freya me darlin'!" Callum exclaimed.

"Dad!" Freya exclaimed and hugged each other.

Blizzard barked until Freya lifted him up and he licked her face.

"Ooh, those are nice fishing poles." Cuphead said pointing at a store with fishing poles displayed in the window.

"I think my father would like one of those for Christmas." Gwen said.

"Say no more, follow me!" Freya answered.

Freya leads Gwen into the fishing shop and sells her the best fishing pole they had to offer.

"Thanks, Freya." Gwen thanked.

"No, thank you." Freya said as she hugged her.

"We gotta get going." Gwen said.

"Come back again!" Freya said.

Gwen handed Freya her business card.

"This is how you can reach me." Gwen said.

Freya stuffed the card in her pocket as Gwen teleported herself and the cups back to the Inkwell Isles.

In Inkwell City, they noticed the Root Pack hugging each other feeling traumatized despite not remembering what happened.

"What's eatin' you guys?" Ms. Chalice asked tauntingly.

The Root Pack's eyes popped.

"EATIN'?!" The Root Pack exclaimed and hopped away screaming.

Gwen and the cups laughed.

"Well, I got papa's Christmas gift. I just need to get Clarence, mama and Rose." Gwen said.

"What about us?" Cuphead asked.

Gwen gave a smile.

"You ding-dong, she already has our gifts!" Mugman said.

"Yeah, duh!" Ms. Chalice agreed.

"Oh yeah!" Cuphead said now remembering.

Gwen shook her head.

"I know what I'm getting William, Emma and Jack." Gwen added.

"Sounds like you have a Christmas list going." Mugman said.

"It never hurts to plan ahead." Gwen pointed out.

"Hey Gwen? Do you think we could um… go to your palace and play?" Cuphead asked eagerly.

Gwen tapped her ink pen, and the group return to her palace in Heaven, only to be greeted by her servants.

"Lady Gosa, welcome back." The lead servant greeted as they bowed to her.

"Hey ladies. Didn't Dionysus mention there's a grand swimming pool in this palace?" Gwen asked.

"Why yes, my lady. Follow us." The lead servant answered.

The servants lead Gwen and the cups to the back of the palace and find themselves in a grand indoor pool. The group are awestruck at the sights of the pillars, waterfalls, states, water slide, a big hot tub and a grand crystal chandelier hanging from above.

"Gwen, why didn't you show us this when we had the slumber party?" Cuphead asked.

"I didn't even know about it till now." Gwen answered.

"Wow, this pool's got everything!" Mugman said looking around.

"You know what this calls for fellas?" Ms. Chalice asked.

Ms. Chalice went to a crate and pulled out a few pool noodles.

"POOL PARTY!" Ms. Chalice yelled.

"Yeah!" Both cups exclaimed and grabbed a pool noodle.

"Wait!" Gwen called.

The cups looked at Gwen.

"We can't have a pool party…" Gwen said.

The cups looked disappointed until Gwen tapped her ink pen, changing their outfits to swimwear.

"…without the proper attire!" Gwen excitedly finished.

"YEAH!" All three cups cheered.

The group jumps in the water and starts playing pool games including Marco Polo, swim racing, pool volleyball, and sliding down the water slide and swim under the waterfalls.

After being tired, the group relax in the hot tub.

"Ah, this is living." Cuphead said, relaxing.

"You said it." Mugman agreed.

"We gotta make sure the Big D never finds out about this." Ms. Chalice said.

"Chalice, can we not talk about him? I wanna relax." Gwen asked.

"Oh, sorry Gwen." Ms. Chalice apologized.

"It's alright." Gwen said as a servant brings them a platter of root beers.

Each takes a glass.

"Thank you." Gwen thanked as the servant nodded.

"A toast to us!" Cuphead toasted.

They clinked their glasses and drank their root beer. Mugman once again gulps his drink in one gulp.

"AH! BRAIN FREEZE!" Mugman cried in pain.

Gwen shook her head.

"Never learns." Cuphead said.

"May I suggest pushing the roof of your mouth with your tongue?" The lead servant asked.

Mugman tries her suggestion, then he started feeling better.

"Ah, that's better." Mugman said relieved.

"May I also suggest not drinking cold beverages in one gulp?" The lead servant asked.

"Noted." Mugman said, feeling better.

"My lady, do not worry about the Devil. He cannot enter this place since he is strictly forbidden here in Heaven and Olympus. Also, you are safe from his watchful eye of his magic mirror." The lead servant assured her mistress.

"Really?" Gwen asked in shock.

"Yes ma'am." The lead servant answered.

"I will keep that in mind. It could be useful." Gwen said.

The group continued to celebrate until it was time for them to return home and start making preparations for the upcoming holidays. Gwen even considered her new giant ability to come in handy in the future.
