Ace:
I woke up in the morning to Thatch's hand wrapped in my hair. His bare legs in between mine and a sheet draping over us showed how we ended Luffy's party last night. Our clothes tossed on the floor in a heap together. I was trying to ease out of his grasp and not wake him up when I hear a high pitch squeal. It sounded like Nami and Luffy. Thatch bolts up, his hand tearing my hair alittle.
"What's happening?"
I shrugged to answer his question. "Sounded like something excited Nami and Luffy."
His hand was getting tighter in my hair. I started wincing,
"What would excite both of them?"
I wondered out loud. Thatch shrugged. His hand finally free of my hair.
"POPS! WHAT ABOUT THE CREW YOI!? Luffy doesn't want a big crew. What would happen to us yoi?!"
Thatch and I exchange looks. I was not prepared to hear that. We scramble out of bed and hurry to put clothes on. Instead it was just a pair of pants on both of us then we were out on the deck were everything was happening. Marco Luffy and Luffy's crew was standing in front of pop. The rest of the crew just surronding them listening.
"Son, I'm not as young as I used to be. We're just flying under her flag. And you'll follow both of us."
"Markie-Kun. I'm not getting rid of you guys. Your the old man's crew. My crew is on the Sunny and yours is on this one. DO you not want me as Captain?"
I was quick to realize the hurt in Luffy's voice and it upset me.
"No Lu. It's not that yoi.," Marco then whispered something more in her ear. She nodded thoughtful like. "You fly my flag and I fly yours."
We all looked confused. Marco was the one to explain.
"The marines know me and her are together yoi. And that we have allied each other. If suddenly one of our flags stop flying they are going to start another fight and we aren't ready to fight them again so soon yoi. They know it and We know it."
Luffy picks up.
"So we swap flags where they get suspicious but won't attack!"
Pops was nodding. "You could have a reason to that. And We're going to have to separate the ships for little bit."
Marco's face turned into a huge frown while Luffy turned into a smile.
"ADVENTURE!"
Luffy's crew groaned while we all laughed. Marco's hand snaked across her waist and pulled her close to her.
"I agree with Marco's unspoken disagreement. Luffy isn't ready to leave by herself with her crew. I don't doubt their ability to protect her or each other but We just almost lost Luffy. And I don't want to lose my little sister after just getting back with her."
Sabo interjected. I nodded. For once I actually agreed with Marco when it came to my sister. My sisters crew also nodded.
"We have no doubt in our captain but if the marines come after us Luffy is still weak and no matter what she will try to protect us before herself. As her first mate I say Luffy needs to stay here with Marco and her brothers. And we go no where without our captain"
Zoro spoke, while Luffy pouted.
Pops nodded again.
"Marco and Ace will travel with her until we meet up again. That way we can split and screw with the marines but she'll be protected as well." We all nodded while Thatch started whining.
"And Thatch can go as well."
Luffy lets out a squeal of excitement. And I had a feeling this mission was going to be the hardest I've ever been on.
Marco:
This was going to be difficult. Luffy no problem I loved the idea of being with her all the time even more and her ship was 1/4 of the size as the Moby Dick. I wouldn't lose track of her and I could be closer to her. BUt the problem was Thatch and Ace were going to be there as well. And on a smaller ship There was no way I could avoid them. Or have my privacy with Luffy. Ace was going to be the annoying older brother the whole time I bet and I really didn't like that idea that much.
The frin on Luffy's face had me grinning as well and her whole crew looked excited. Then Nami lets out a squeal.
"WE GET TO GO SHOPPING FOR STUFF FOR THE CAPTAIN'S ROOM!"
The look of fear on Luffy's face was hard to not laugh at.
"Unless you still want to sleep with us Lu and we can put Marco in the mens cabin."
The pout was evident on her voice. "If we go shopping can we get meat?"
Nami nods and a gleam is in her eyes. Then Luffy was dragged away and gone from sight along with Robin. We had already planned to leave tomorrow since fishman island was doing well and Pops didn't see the need to stay here any longer then necessary. So we were going to take Luffy into the New world. Or more likely Pops is going to go check out his islands and Luffy and her crew is going to have an adventure of their own. ANd this time I was going to be with her on one of her adventures. Maybe I can prevent her from getting hurt so much.
Hours later, the girls came back with their arms full of stuff and Luffy was grumbling something fierce. When she sees me though a grin appears on her face. But before she could hug me Nami dragged her to The Thousand Sunny. I sighed, I probably won't see her again till bed time since Nami's involved.
Nami:
Luffy had absolutely no sense of fashion. wearing her normal shorts and bikini. That doesn't work since she's 19 now and getting married. and then what she wanted for her room she was going to share with Marco. A meat chandelier does not work. So of course I had to change that. I was kind enough to spend money and get her a whole new wardrobe for her birthday and what does she do. Wear that blasted red bikini with those cutoff shorts. the cardigan and sash was a nice touch but she needed to broaden her horizons and that's what I did. When we got to the Thousand Sunny We dragged Luffy into her room. Set up the place then put Luffy in some better clothes. Marco was a special man to tolerate her like he does.
After many threats and persuasion with meat We got Luffy into a red silk strapless dress with her yellow sash around the waist adding a nice touch. We exchanged the red cardigan for a blue one to cover her shoulders and then shoved a pair of my old flip flops on her then her straw ones. we let her keep the hat because she wasn't Luffy with it gone. Now time to tease her fiancée and upset her big fiery brother.
I smiled as we let her loose after I kindly had Robin hide all of her old usual garments and replaced them with the new stuff. I couldn't wait to see the chaos that putting Luffy in a dress caused. It was going to be so much fun.
So finally after so many months of writers block for this story this is what I came up with. It's not the best but I think it's the best I could do. Maybe it will lead into something more later on. I apologize to those that wanted Thatch and Ace smut. but that is on hold right now. I just don't know how to write that out. Any type of smex I'm iffy about but I am trying my best. Please review and tell me what you think! Again sorry for the wait but I really couldn't think of anything. Hate it when that happens.
