The Dance Before Midnight
After their ice-skating experience, Twilight Sparkle, Flash Sentry and Spike had already planned on what they are going to do next. In fact, it will be the last thing they were going to do. "It's got to," Flash Sentry said to himself.
"The time is now 5:00," Spike announced to Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry. "Yes," Flash Sentry answered, "We understand."
"Only a few hours before I have to go back," Twilight Sparkle told Flash Sentry. "I know where to go," Flash Sentry said.
So immediately, Flash Sentry used his phone map to locate a certain place. "There should be one around here somewhere," Flash Sentry said. "I know what you're looking for," Spike said, already knowing what is already planned.
"And there is one," Flash Sentry concluded. But first, they had to make one more trip back to Flash Sentry's home. "We have to do something first," Flash Sentry explained.
Yes, the final thing they were going to do together was go to their dance just like the Summer Fall Formal dance when Twilight Sparkle first arrived.
"Only this time," Flash Sentry said, "There won't be ex-demonic, uh, things trying to take over your world." But he said it to himself.
"And I don't need to remind them what they came back for," Spike said. First, they changed into the uniforms they were going out in, obviously. Flash Sentry changed into the exact outfit he wore that night and Twilight Sparkle changed into a similar dance outfit
It is the one she chose, similar to the one she wore the night of Summer Fall Formal.
When they both came out, Spike was amazed, but both Flash Sentry and Twilight Sparkle were amazed most of all. "Are you ready?" Flash Sentry asked his girlfriend. "Yes," Twilight Sparkle answered, "I'm ready."
"Then let's go together," Flash Sentry said. They both hopped into a tough looking car. "Well," Twilight Sparkle said, "Cool." "Uh, actually," Flash Sentry said, "This is my aunt's car. My dad drives it because his car is getting a tune-up. It was built in the 1960s. That's why."
"I understand," Twilight Sparkle replied. "Do you have license to drive?" Spike asked. "Yes," Flash Sentry answered. "Spike!" Twilight Sparkle scolded. "Never mind," Flash Sentry said.
The three then hopped into the car and Flash Sentry drove off to their destination.
Soon enough, they arrived at a night dance club. This one is acceptable. "Don't worry," Flash Sentry said, "This one is family-friendly. For us. Something along those lines." "I agree," Spike replied. "Okay," Twilight Sparkle said.
"Are you ready?" Flash Sentry asked. "Yes," Twilight Sparkle answered. "Then let's go!" Flash Sentry and Twilight Sparkle were determined to make this night their best night ever and more importantly, something special for Twilight Sparkle to remember before she has to go back to her world.
Also, Spike was able to sneak inside.
