Quartermaine -Cassadine household
"Are you sure you're comfortable planning a wedding while you're four months pregnant?" Elizabeth Webber asked her best friend.
"Lizzy, I've spent decades trying to get back to my happily ever after! Nothing is going to stop me from remarrying Nikolas or having his baby." Emily Quartermaine scoffed, lovingly glancing at her engagement ring. The engagement ring had stayed with her all throughout Helena's schemes, they were meant to be.
"I'm just saying that women our age are becoming grandmother's and not first time mother's. You need to take things easy, Em." Elizabeth sighed.
"Well, that time was taken away from me Liz. This is my last chance and I'm going to do things the way I see fit. I will become Mrs. Cassadine again. Planning my wedding isn't stressing me out but, you are." Emily quickly got up, rubbing her stomach.
"Emily, I'm not trying to upset you. Obviously, I am so glad that you and Nikolas are back together -" Elizabeth started but, Emily holds her hand up.
"Are you? Because it doesn't seem like it. Maybe you wish that it was you having Nikolas 's baby and becoming his wife because that's what it sounds like. Nikolas told me about the affair." Emily crossed her hands over her chest.
"Emily, that was such a long time ago." Elizabeth looked like a deer caught in headlights.
"Yep, it's exactly like I thought! Do me a favor and please just go." Emily didn't meet her best friend's gaze.
"Emily, I would never take Nikolas away from you. You have to believe that." Elizabeth put her hand over her heart.
"Can you just leave? I'm done talking about this." Emily descended upstairs where Nikolas was still in bed.
"You know that you're the one for me, don't you? What Elizabeth and I had...it was a mistake. I couldn't have imagined if I'd been Aiden's father, all I wanted was you. I'm still in shock that we're really getting our second chance, I won't mess us up this time." Nikolas had heard their conversation, they both heard the front door shut.
"I know, we're soulmates Nikolas. I've always known that, I was just waiting for you to catch up." Emily smirked, settling down beside him on the bed. Nikolas 's hand settled on her growing belly.
"How are you feeling today? It can't be easy growing twins." Nikolas smiled.
"All three of us are doing wonderful, you don't have to worry my sweet prince." Emily lay on her back, glad to be snuggled up to her Nikolas.
Hardy-Hunter House
Alyssa Hardy was the granddaughter of Steve Hardy and cousin to Elizabeth Webber, she has her own fashion label called "Hardy Designs" and met Matt Hunter through her cousin. Slowly but surely the couple fell in love and eloped in Vegas, nine months later they discovered they were having a baby. Despite being pregnant, Alyssa had not slowed down in running her company. After all, fashion never sleeps. That morning as Matt had returned from an overnight shift at the hospital, Alyssa was tapping away at her computer at seven o'clock in the morning.
"Babe, it is way too early for fashion." Matt blurted out, trying not to yawn.
"Blasphemy!" Alyssa gasped.
"Babe, you're nine months pregnant. Do you even know how to relax? Our little girl will be here any day now." Matt comes over to rub her stomach.
"I know I am but, I have nobody to take over my fashion empire while I'm out! Everyone I know is pregnant." Alyssa protested.
"Maxie's only two weeks pregnant and fashion is her life. I bet she'd be more than happy to help, you could partner with Deception. It'd be good for your company. Right?" Matt suggested.
"That's a great idea, I'll have to talk to her tomorrow!"
Santiago -Quartermaine House
Teddy Quartermaine, you get your behind in here right now!" Sabrina's voice could be heard through the whole mansion.
"What did little man do?" Michael asked, slowly walked into the living room.
"Teddy made me look like a beach whale!" Sabrina burst into tears, holding up a drawing on a white piece of paper.
"Sabrina, Teddy is only three years old. I'm sure he wasn't doing that to make you feel bad. You shouldn't feel bad about how you look, you're sexy as hell. Our little boy will be here soon, I can't wait to be a family of four." Michael grasped Sabrina's hands in his own.
"You're right, I'm sorry for getting emotional. It's just these damn hormones, I love all of you so much!" Sabrina embraced Michael as Teddy walked into the room.
"Am I in trouble, mama?" Teddy asked, innocently.
"No baby of course not, I love the drawing you drew of our family." Sabrina smiled tenderly at her son.
