Smoke billowed around Olga as she exhaled, forming a dense cloud that enveloped her. The burning sensation in her lungs was strangely satisfying, and the bitter aftertaste left by the removed cigar only made her crave it more. She quickly placed it back between her lips after releasing the cooling smoke into the air, repeating the process with a sense of addictive pleasure.

Olga, Satoru, and Megumi stood outside a dilapidated house, waiting for Yuji and Nobara. It was the first time the two of them had teamed up, and Satoru was curious to see how the duo from the countryside would fare against cursed spirits in the city.

Amidst blowing out another cloud of smoke, Megumi approached Olga. She took the thick cigar out of her mouth, which was now halfway smoked, and tapped it to remove the excess ash from the opposite end.

"Megumi, do you have something to say to me?" Olga inquired, her voice laced with a tinge of smoke.

"Olga-san, it's about what you called me earlier, 'Wolfie baby' or something like that," Megumi responded with frustration evident in his voice.

Olga understood exactly what he was referring to. "So you want to know why I called you that? I apologize if it bothered you. I was just voicing my thoughts aloud."

"It's weird," Megumi admitted.

"I understand." Olga said, twirling the cigar between her fingers. "Once again, I apologize for my slip of the tongue. As for calling you a 'Wolfie baby,' I guess it was the first thing I thought of when I looked at you."

Megumi looked at her curiously, his frustration giving way to intrigue. "Huh? What do you mean?"

Olga sticks the cigar back into her mouth.

"There isn't any particular meaning to it, Megumi. But I sense that something about that nickname clicked with you."

Yes, it felt familiar to him somehow.

"I feel that someone used to call me that. Can't remember who," Megumi admits.

Olga lips curve slightly upwards before being compressed into a straight line.

"Who knows," She takes another puff of her cigar.

"You say some strange things Olga-san," Megumi tells her straight up.

For a moment, she stops smoking to look at the ground.

She sighed as she's reminded that she's becoming older by the day.

"It's been weighing on my mind for a while now but… Olga-san, have we met somewhere before?"

Olga considered her response. "No, I can't recall an instance that we have."

"I see… It doesn't matter, forget what I said,"

Olga closes her eyes. "Sure." Taking another puff from her cigar.

Megumi returns to stand beside Satoru.

From their brief interaction, he gauged that Olga was a woman of few words. To Megumi, she seemed uninterested. In addition, Satoru mentioned that she only just came yesterday. That would mean that the news of Sukuna's vessel had become widespread in just a matter of a few days.

With the likes of a hidden organization like the Secret Church, the thought in itself was unnerving as that would mean that there was a potential leak of information outside of Japan's borders.

Coupled with the appearance of such a person; her true intentions were still unknown to them.

"Megumi-kun~ What are you thinking so deeply about?" Satoru asks as he slings his arm around his student.

Megumi pushes Satoru off him, annoyed at the older man's antics.

Aside, Olga had distanced herself from them during Megumi's contemplation.

"About the woman accompanying us… Can we really trust her?" Megumi's voice was full of skepticism.

Satoru rubs his chin. "Olga has presented herself to be a potential ally. I can tell that she is quite formidable but I can't fully gauge what she is capable of. She's hiding something for sure,"

He pauses to build dramatic anticipation. "One thing is for certain though, Olga's probably the strongest holy exorcist!"

Megumi gives Satoru an irritated look despite being intrigued by this new piece of information. "You're not answering my question, Gojo-sensei,"

Satoru ruffled Megumi's hair as he made a comment about him. "Don't frown too much Megumi. You might get wrinkles. Besides, you don't have to worry about her because I'll be keeping an eye on her. "

Satoru may seem nonchalant about having a stranger around his students but he is cautious. Olga was not an easy woman to read. She isn't expressive and doesn't take his taunts as easily as most people. She's accepting of his attempts and doesn't pursue anything wholeheartedly but the bare minimum.

A person like her is intimidating even to Satoru as most things about her are oblique besides her association with the Secret Church.

Satoru considers testing her himself but decides against it for now.

He knows that Olga is not someone to be underestimated, and he doesn't want to provoke her unnecessarily.

Instead, he focuses on reassuring Megumi. "Trust is built over time, Megumi-kun. We've just met Olga, and it's natural to have some doubts. Let's observe her actions and see how she handles herself during our missions. If she proves herself trustworthy, then we can rely on her as an ally."

Megumi nods, still unsure but willing to give Olga the benefit of the doubt. He glances at Olga, who is now leaning against a nearby wall, quietly smoking her cigar as she stares into space with a distant look in her eyes.

There was something weighing on her mind.

"I'll keep an eye on her too," Megumi says determinedly. "If she's connected to the Secret Church, we need to be cautious."

Satoru gives him an approving nod. "That's the spirit, Megumi-kun. It's essential to stay vigilant in our line of work. For now, let's wait for Yuji and Nobara until they're done."

As they waited for Yuji and Nobara to complete their mission, the tension in the air became palpable.

Just as they were about to delve into a more tactical discussion, Yuji and Nobara appear on the scene, their youthful energy breaking the seriousness of the moment.

"Hey, Gojo-sensei! Olga-san! Fushiguro! The curse has been exorcised!" Yuji cheers at their victory.

Nobara whacks Yuji on the head. "Idiot, I did most of the work!"

A banter ensued between the two.

Satoru was about to break them apart but Olga beat him to it.

"Yuji, Nobara," She began her tone calm and slightly commanding as the two immediately hushed. "You've both done a good job exorcising the curse today."

She proceeds to take a step forward, her smoke trailing behind her as she walks towards the tattered Yuji and Nobara. "You two have potential," she remarks, her tone was cold but her words were encouraging. "But don't let it get to your head. There's much more to learn and experience in the world of Jujutsu sorcery."

Yuji beams with pride, soaking in the compliment. "Thanks, Olga-san! We'll keep training hard and get even stronger!"

Nobara, on the other hand, crosses her arms, trying to hide her satisfaction, but a small smile betrays her. "Of course, we won't slack off."

Satoru chuckles at their enthusiasm. "Well said! Keep up the good work, and soon you'll be as strong as me!"

Megumi rolled his eyes, used to Satoru's boasting. "Let's head back now. It's getting late,"
