(Hello peeps, my apologies for not posting in mid April! I've just started college so I'm getting things sorted out. Read the author's note at the end for more info about the fic's updates and other stuff^^!)

There was a knock at the door, followed by a voice.

"It's Yuji," The voice announced before opening the door, revealing himself and the others as they entered the room.

The young man was patched up with bandages all over, nonetheless, he seemed better after yesterday's events.

"Hello, Sister Olga," Yuji greeted, to which she acknowledged with an inclined head.

It would seem that all the necessary people are now present, saving her the trouble of meeting them individually one by one.

"This is certainly quite the audience." She commented dryly. "But I am sure each of you have your reasons for coming."

As Junpei slumbered, the rest that stood gathered at the foot of his bed.

It wasn't courteous to carry on a conversation while the subject of question was asleep, but she supposed that it couldn't be helped. Him waking up anytime soon seemed less likely after the stunt she pulled.

"The patient's vitals seem to be functioning as they should be. Though that's not the only thing I came here to let you know." Shoko paused, examining the changes in Olga's features.

However, Olga remained unfazed with the news, as if she already anticipated such a thing.

"I wanted to ask you about the technique you used. I heard that he had his soul transfigured which, to my knowledge, would normally would be hard to heal by a basic reverse cursed technique,"

Olga met Shoko's gaze evenly, her composure unwavering. By no means did Shoko have any ill-intentions towards Olga. She was a doctor first and foremost, so understanding her patient's condition was her top priority.

Although, when it comes to matters of the soul, Shoko's understanding of it was sorely limited.

"What actually happened was that Junpei's soul could no longer recognise his body. That's why a reverse cursed technique wouldn't be enough to save him," She threw her statement, neglecting tones of empathy.

The reaction was expected.

Faces contorted into pure confusion.

"That… That would mean that Yoshino Junpei had died," Shoko gathered immediately, her eyes lingering on the unconscious teenager.

"That is correct," Olga responded immediately. "We've recently encountered a special grade curse whose ability allowed him to manipulate souls. Which means that a reverse cursed technique would be ineffective as it only repairs the physical injury unlike something that is intangible like the soul. At the time, I didn't intend to save Junpei. It's a risky technique for both him and me. There was a high chance of succumbing to instability in maintaining ourselves mentally and physically. The two of us could have died."

Her words were clear. She never had the intention of saving another to begin with unless it was requested.

It was a pill that was hard to swallow.

Had Yuji not begged and mourned over the loss of his new friend, Olga wouldn't have saved him.

"Then did you resurrect him?" Nanami inquired sharply, his eyes leering into her form.

Olga crosses her legs as she closes her eyes, breathing out a deep sigh. She knew that Nanami had a studious nature, much like herself, so he'd be the one to scrutinize her explanations in great detail.

It was also expected of a man with a high moral ground when it comes to such ethicalities. Bringing the dead to life would have been unacceptable to him.

Besides, the unseen monster who was probably listening in to the conversation, so she intentionally brushed the question aside.

"I don't have a reverse cursed technique. But we've already established that that alone wouldn't be able to save Junpei. So, I used a different method, which involves a form of soul manipulation on my end." She presses a curled finger against her bottom lip.

"I gave him a part of my soul to heal his shattered one,"

It wouldn't pose a problem to her in the long-run.

Although it does raise some questions from the rest who were in the room as they regarded her with an incredulous look.

Nanami's eyes narrowed as he absorbed the information, a rare flicker of surprise breaking through his usually stoic expression. Shoko, too, was equally taken aback, her medical expertise grappling with the level of mysticism Olga had described. Yuji, though, seemed lost in his own thoughts, perhaps grappling with the weight of what Olga had to do to save his friend.

"You gave him a part of your soul?" Nanami finally spoke, breaking the momentary silence that hung in the air. His voice, deep and measured, carried a hint of disbelief.

"Nanami, it saved him didn't it?" She deadpanned with a parched sarcastic undertone. "I recall telling you that a holy exorcist must practice virtue."

"That's…" He looked towards her briefly before turning away.

There was nothing else to say.

The topic was something he didn't want to delve into. Not right now at the very least.

"All this talk about the soul may make it seem like it's a vital part of living, but I can assure you that there are exceptions to that natural law," She gets up from her seat, naturally turning to face Yuji with a knowing look. "I'm also very sure that I'm not the only one besides Mahito to be able to split their soul,"

Her gaze was not meant for Yuji in particular but the dormant demon imprisoned inside him.

Shoko had quickly absorbed Olga's words, realizing a crucial bit of information. "Self-modifications of the soul? If what you're getting at is true, he won't be able to be healed normally via a reverse cursed technique because… of some complication of his soul?"

"Another misconception," Olga pointed out. "It would take time for his soul to adjust in his renewed body, for the moment, Junpei requires to heal himself through natural progression. Reverse cursed technique would be futile on him, as it wouldn't improve his current state,"

The doctor slowly nodded her head. That explains why Junpei's healing was quite slow because her reverse cursed technique was ineffective.

"That's all I needed to know. Thanks for clarifying Olga-san. I'll take my leave now." She muttered, bowing her head slightly before leaving the room.

As the leading doctor of the infirmary exited the room, the rest who remained felt a dreadful sea take over.

A thought surfaced in Olga's mind about the proposal she sent to Yaga the previous day. Not to mention, Shoko might be a good teacher for the young seminarian. Whereas the other would be a good training partner for Yuji.

Yuji finally spoke up. "Why did you have to go that far?"

It was a question rooted from the boy's concern for her.

"That's a pointless question, Yuji," She says upfront.

"But! —"

While he normally would have followed through with an outburst, Olga regarded him with a single finger to her lips, signaling he had to hush.

He was silenced at once.

"Yuji, there are some things that you can't afford to find a reason for. Understanding can be a waste of time, so we take action in the present," She pauses to take out a cigar from her pocket to stick in her mouth before resuming to speak. "Nevertheless, if you simply can't help yourself, then you're still welcome to do so."

Yuji was grateful that Olga willingly helped him by saving Junpei, however, after knowing what she had to go through, he reasoned with himself if that was the right decision in the first place as it meant putting someone else at potential risk.

Was it alright to just trust her words? That everything was alright?

The young man turns to Nanami's direction, searching to see if he was going to say anything to Olga but a blank expression only decorated his face.

"You are an incorrigible woman, Olga-san."

Nanami's words hung in the air, a blunt and straightforward assessment of Olga's actions.

"Is that a reminder?" She leaned forward, unperturbed by his critic.

It appears that Nanami has seen through her play with words. She hummed in response to his remark and strides to the door.

The conversation would have ended then and there.

There were no expectations of prolonging this discussion.

Olga was going to leave them as it is, however, she was caught off guard when Nanami actually gave an answer to her rhetoric.

"No, it's an observation. It's just as you said, it would be pointless to question you. And, I won't lecture someone who's saved my life once. You're right, nothing will change you. You are responsible for yourself and the actions you take," He stated, finally resigning to the fact that Olga had the inability to be affected by anyone.

She was sure that Nanami would have scolded her as that was how it was usually with him, but his resignation turns out to be even more surprising.

Perhaps this was the better outcome.

Forcing a curve upon her lips, in spite of her unfeeling gaze, she turned to face Yuji.

Subconsciously, Yuji felt a shudder run down his spine and he took a step back as she approached.

A hand was placed on his shoulder by Nanami, giving Yuji a reassuring look.

"Rejoice, Yuji. Be proud as if it weren't for you, Junpei would not be alive today,"

Those words were a form of consolation.

In her own way, Olga was acknowledging that Yuji has played a vital role in the events that transpired.

"That's all I have to say." Sticking a cigar into her mouth, she makes haste, leaving Nanami and Yuji to their own private talk as she heads out for a smoke.

She had nothing else left to sustain the conversation further.

Click!

It was a small sound as the door shut behind her.

Yuji stared at a particular corner on the floor where Olga stood. The presence she had left behind was an eerie one.

What does it mean to kill someone?

He wanted to ask her if she had killed someone before, but the answer was obvious.

Of course, she had to.

Thinking about it makes his stomach churned, for the fear of finding out the unsightly things she may be keeping.

But then, what does it mean to save someone?

That is something she must've done as well.

These are questions he would've never really thought much about if she never brought it up to him to begin with.

The weight of those two questions weighed in his mind, however, he was not sure which was heavier.

Yesterday, he had to kill somebody and it left him with a guilty conscience.

He could hear the Sukuna's whispers reverberating within him. However, despite living in the same body they're thoughts remain separated. Yuji could never access the demon's true thoughts, and neither could he with him.

Still, even as Yuji made it seem simple to live with the literal evil incarnate within him, it was actually an insufferable experience.

When it was just himself, a mouth would randomly form on his skin and Sukuna would taunt and belittle Yuji for the heck of it.

Even now, he could still hear Sukuna's haunting voice mock him in his endeavors.

With Olga admitting that she had no intentions of saving Junpei, Yuji was unsure of what to think of her.

Olga was a skilled exorcist. She killed Mahito without a second thought, and it got him thinking of whether she'd have the same blank expression if she were to leave Junpei to die.

"In this line of work, sympathies should be sparingly given away. Olga-san, I realized, has no heart for others." Nanami began, as he moved away from Yuji. "From what I've seen, she's desensitized and work-oriented. She has no empathy to offer anyone and will do as she please, if she sees the benefit of it,"

Is Nanami implying that Olga is heartless?

Yuji stood in silence, processing Nanami's words. Nanami was probably right but Yuji could not help but doubt the older man.

What did she have to gain from saving Junpei?

And was it right to condemn her when she was part of the reason why Junpei was alive?

Yuji blinked his eyes several times as it suddenly dawned on him.

While he was the trigger, this outcome was only possible with Olga's intervention. Like it or not, she was not heartless as she seemed.

Saving Junpei without question, subtly encouraging him, and helping in their cause to contend against curses, it became clear to him the kind of woman Olga was.

He looks up and faces Nanami, resolved and hardened.

"Nanamin, it doesn't matter if she wanted to or not. She still decided to save Junpei and risked herself. She could have refused, but she didn't. That counts for something," Yuji's voice was firm as he looked directly into Nanami's eyes.

From the beginning, no matter how cruel or intimidating she seemed, Olga had been there to offer her assistance when needed. It was a realization that shifted Yuji's perspective, and he felt indebted to her in ways he could not express.

A small smile formed. He had always trusted her in spite of how naive it seems and he was glad he did. Although she often kept to herself, her intention was to never harm but assist them.

Perhaps Nanami made a lapse in his judgment of the two.

Yuji had proven himself to be a commendable jujutsu sorcerer and his strengthened determination shows for it. Even after having come to terms that had to kill, Yuji was able to keep himself together without breaking apart.

This mark was what made Nanami finally acknowledge him as a jujutsu sorcerer.

Whereas for Olga…

"Olga-san is…" He took a deep sigh and considered the young man's opinion.

Nanami was still unsure of what to think about her. His initial perception of her was a consistent negative but now he was unclear about what she was to him.

Ironically, after telling them off from understanding her, Yuji seemed to be the one most certain about her character.

So Nanami doubted himself.

"I need to go talk to her," Nanami needed to find out for himself.

Her hand twirls her cigar ceaselessly as her mind goes adrift. The whole fiasco was resolved but she ended up not visiting the Reverend the previous day and decided to postpone it when Junpei woke up.

Though she didn't need to be there to know how the Reverend father would react. He would bombard her with a million thanks and praise the Lord for his will of mercy and justice.

"Olga-san," Nanami called out.

She didn't bother to turn to his direction.

Undeterred by Olga's apparent indifference, Nanami continued to approach her. His footsteps echoed as he closed the distance.

Nanami's voice was steady as he spoke, "What do you intend to do with that boy?"

His question comes from his uncertainty and doubts of Olga's intentions. She doesn't have a concrete goal, and has stated that she will not intervene in their politics.

However, if that was the case, she would have avoided the hassle of saving Junpei.

Yet, she deliberately puts herself in the brunt of a troublesome situation.

There must at least be a reason why she did so. What was it that he was not seeing?

The holy woman listened to Nanami's words without a flicker of emotion. Her eyes betrayed little of her thoughts. She took a leisurely drag from her cigar, exhaling a plume of smoke before finally addressing him.

"Junpei will do whatever he wants. I won't make him do anything he doesn't want to, so whether he chooses to become a sorcerer, a holy exorcist or go back to ordinary life, it's completely up to him. I'll take him under my wing, just until he learns how to walk on his own," She muttered in an even tone, answering his immediate concern.

Reintegration into normalcy will be challenging. Junpei's already exposed to this side of the world so he can no longer truly go back to the life he had.

And if his ultimate decision was to settle for normalcy, well… Nanami knew better than anyone that it wouldn't be the same.

"You're taking responsibility for him," Nanami repeated, his tone more a statement than a question.

The glowing tip of her cigar flickered for a moment as she shook off the ash that had piled up at the end.

"Unlike Satoru, I can't grant him a shield of invincibility from the Jujutsu Higher-ups. It'll be a similar situation to Yuji's, but I'll do what I can with what I have," She took another puff and exhaled.

Olga was being dead serious, this was not just a play of words but her affirming her actual commitment.

Determination was never the word he'd use to describe her.

She was self-sufficient, and on numerous occasions has made it clear that it would be difficult to pursue any kinds of closeness with her.

Still, even with her unnerving quiet disposition, she had a hidden warmth in between her gestures. When interacting with Yuji, she reassures him by introducing newer approaches for a situation. Furthermore, whether by her own creed or at Yuji's request she saved a dying child.

As she succeeded in saving Junpei, she followed up the next day by staying by his bedside since the early morning. Olga may deny that it was simply to monitor his condition, but her actions can be interpreted otherwise as a hidden compassion for others.

Lastly, she saved him from a fate worse than death under Mahito's hands.

The woman in front of him has abandoned hope.

He would even stretch as far as to say that she held a nihilistic mindset.

However, she does not neglect responsibility. It was evident with the way she treated her faith and the people around her. While she lacked expression, she is respectable and duty-bound.

"I see… You've been consistently giving yourself meaning. You don't benefit from a cause, whatsoever," He paused as he carefully considered his next words. "While you believe there is no salvation for yourself, you offer salvation for others." He mindlessly blurted out.

His wrinkles were pulled, eyebrows raised as if to indicate that he had stumbled on a landmine of a discovery.

This final assessment was the most accurate he'd ever described her.

She finally faced him.

Seeing the scar on the edge of her lips was proof.

There were sharp but tired grayed-jaded eyes staring back at him.

"You look distressed, Nanami." She commented, taking out the cigar as she blew a cloud of smoke to her side. "If that is what you think of me then so be it."

Opinions about her carry no weight in her eyes.

In the end, her ambiguity was what made her a potential threat.

The ex-salaryman took a deep sigh, as if to let go of the questions that plagued his mind.

He can't help but feel relieved that a person like her had favored being on their side. Perhaps she may be toying with them for the moment. And perhaps not.

If not then, Olga Ermakova, of the Secret Church was, in fact, not the enemy.

–with Nanami–

The Principal could not help but feel something amidst as his former student stood in front of him. His expression was in a daze as if something ill had befallen him. He wasn't sure what it could be as Nanami would almost always have that signature scowl or strict expression plastered on his face.

"Tell me about your recent mission," Yaga asked, hoping to understand why he was in such a mood. "How was working with Ms Olga?"

If not Satoru for being the cause of it, then it would probably be the holy exorcist.

Nanami began with a heavy sigh. "Olga was a cooperative partner. I admit that without her help, the mission would not have gone along smoothly despite having Ino Takumi's assistance. She is exceptionally strong and is skilled in close-combat."

From what I've seen, she has a specialty of manipulating metal wires and the ones made purely from her cursed energy. In addition, she has some form of ability that allows her to tamper with souls, hence why the individual, Yoshino Junpei was able to be saved despite having his soul transfigured,"

Yaga leaned back in his chair, stroking his beard as he processed the information. "Then, what do you think of her?"

"She's competent. More so than most, she gets the job done accordingly. She keeps secrets on purpose, but I can assure you that she's not someone who would jeopardize the people she's committed to working with."

Yaga nodded thoughtfully, considering Nanami's feedback on Olga. He leaned forward and steepled his fingers, a sign that he was deep in thought.

"Am I correct to assume that you trust her to an extent?" Yaga continued. "Kento, if you are able to trust her, then I don't see why we have to be suspicious of her presence any longer because I trust your intuition more so than most,"

A stark silence fell upon the two.

Nanami lowered his gaze.

He knows that Yaga was an honest man. Yaga had nothing to hide from him. So, hearing him express his trust in Nanami's judgment was a significant acknowledgment.

Nanami took a moment before responding, choosing his words carefully.

The yellow folder that Olga had given to him was still at his house. He had not brought it to the meeting, despite initially intending to do so.

It was not a guilty conscience on his part as he was inevitably going to give the folder to Jujutsu Tech once he's finished perusing through it.

Souls were… an abstract concept without scientific evidence. It intrigued him that a person such Olga had taken interest in the idea to which she had dedicated a research akin to a thesis on. It was not some half-baked theory as she's drafted several credible possibilities about the soul.

While he knew that knowledge of the soul wouldn't be applicable to him in any way, he made it a point to educate himself about it even if it was just a small part.

It was good that he stayed informed no matter how vague the matters of souls can be, especially when it became relevant when a curse like Mahito had surfaced.

"Do you know why I've asked you to come here by yourself for the report? Ms. Olga called me last night and made an interesting preposition." Yaga's gaze remained fixed on his former student, awaiting his response.

Nanami hesitated before finally meeting Yaga's gaze. "No, I don't. What did she propose?"

Yaga leaned back in his chair, folding his hands over his stomach. "She suggested a collaboration. Olga has two pupils who are likewise fellow holy exorcists. She believes that such a collaboration could be mutually beneficial as it would teach them how to deal with high-level curses in Japan as compared to Europe where the curse activity is less common. In turn, they'll offer their assistance and take on missions for Jujutsu Tech for a limited time,"

Considering that, Jujutsu Tech has always been short-staffed. Olga's proposal seemed to be quite an attractive offer. It was altruistic of her to suggest such a collaboration.

It was the first time he's heard that Olga has students.

Then again, if someone like Satoru was qualified to be an educator then whose to say that Olga couldn't be a teacher too?

"Her proposal is a reasonable one. However, is there anything that we need to know about her students?"

Yaga's eyes gleamed with a knowing expression, appreciating Nanami's cautious approach. "Olga vouches for their competence and dedication. Her students are well-versed in their respective fields. One is a priest in-training specialized in healing and mental techniques. While the other is the youngest holy exorcist amongst their ranks who is considered to be a prodigy in exorcisms.

"In her words, she mentioned that the two are the only ones we'd ever need to look out for when considering the strengths of the Secret Church. Aside from herself; "the rest were mediocre" she said,"

Nanami absorbed the information. The mention of a "Secret Church" and the significance Olga placed on her students intrigued him.

"A seminarian and a prodigy..." Nanami remarked, his mind already considering the dynamics within the Secret Church. "I take it that they'll be introduced during the Goodwills event. Will they be participating as well?"

"Not the seminarian, he will be watching with the staff, providing his input as they watch the match. In addition to being a healer, he's also a strategist. Whereas the prodigy is closer in age with the Jujutsu High students and may need to fill in Itadori-kun's vacant position. She's more suited in the field as a combatant,"

Yaga was still kept in the dark about Yuji. So to him, Olga's proposal made sense to him and did help by filling up their numbers for the Goodwills event with the Kyoto students.

However, since Satoru intends to reveal that Yuji had been alive all this time at the event, Nanami suspects that the girl would probably be spectating the other students with the other teachers.

He could already tell that Olga intended for the girl to watch and learn from the students of Jujutsu Tech as they were more experienced with dealing with curses.

What she wanted was for them to gain experience.

The same can be said with Junpei who seems to be on the way to becoming her next student.

"Her proposal was a tempting one, but I wanted to hear from you first before getting back to her an answer as you've already worked together on a mission. Your opinion of her seemed to be a positive one, so I am considering taking her up on her offer. However, I value your insight, Kento. If you have any reservations or concerns, now is the time to voice them."

Nanami took a moment to gather his thoughts. "I believe she's genuine in her intentions of helping us. Olga is not one to make frivolous proposals, and I believe that the Secret Church had nothing to do with this. It was initiated by her alone without any of her organization's influence. The Secret Church does not seem to want to get involved, so her students coming here was what she thought was best for their personal growth."

Yaga nodded in acknowledgment. "Your insights are invaluable, Kento. It's clear that you've developed a keen understanding of Olga's personality during your time together. If she's willing to collaborate without any hidden agendas, it could indeed be a mutually beneficial arrangement."

Nanami continued, "However, I still recommend maintaining a degree of vigilance. The nature of a woman like her is unpredictable, and even the most well-intentioned collaborations can bring unforeseen challenges. Olga is still a wild card, she may come back to you for an unexpected request."

Yaga appreciated Nanami's cautious approach. "Your prudence is noted, Kento. We'll proceed with this collaboration with due diligence. The Goodwills event will serve as an opportunity for both parties to assess each other's capabilities and build trust."

Nanami agreed with a nod, his mind still contemplating the complexities of the situation. "It may be for better or worse. In the case of Olga, I've noticed, she hardly seems to do things for herself. She's quite selfless in that regard."

—back to Olga—

The dimly lit bar was buzzing with activity as patrons filled the room with laughter, chatter, and the occasional clinking of glasses. The atmosphere was a blend of casual relaxation and subdued energy, the perfect backdrop for an evening of winding down after a long day of work. A faint hum of jazz music provided a soothing undertone to the scene.

At the far end of the bar, a woman with dulled teal eyes, sat perched on a stool. Her unsettling presence seemed to command attention, but no one dared to approach her. Perhaps it had something to do with the alarming scar on her face that she didn't bother to hide.

"You look just like a mini Toji," Said the man casually as he sat down opposite. He points at the right edge of his lips, referencing the scar that was on her face.

Olga's eyes remained fixed on a glass of amber liquid in front of her.

"And now, you're even old enough to get a drink on your own. Not that it really mattered since you already drank so much when you were only like 15," He continued, turning his head back to face the bartender, signaling for two drinks with his fingers.

The bartender nods as if used to this routine with him.

Olga raised her glass to take a sip. The whiskey slid down smoothly, leaving a trail of warmth in its wake. "You're a man driven by personal interest. I doubt that you'd seek me for old times sake. Or, was it pure coincidence meeting me here, Mr Fallen detective?"

He shrugged his shoulders. "It's a coincidence. I used to frequent here a lot back then with Toji too, y'know? I didn't think I'd see you again, especially in this country when you decided to go independent. Back then, you didn't seem like you would ever come back. Anyways, how did you get that nasty scar? If anything it makes you look more like Toji. I see quite the resemblance between you two,"

"Were you always this chatty?" She remarked, with a slight amusement in her voice. "A madman did this. But he's dead now. And stop acting like you're clueless, you've an agenda don't you?"

He lazily slumped his cheek onto his palm. "You were using another name, so it was harder to track you down. You're going by Olga now, that's Russian right? I can't say I know you anymore since you look a lot different than that little girl who'd assist Toji's assassinations."

The drinks and cup he had ordered arrived at the table. He thanks the server, opening the loosened bottle before pouring himself a drink. "Still, there are some things that never change. You still have that lifeless look in your eyes as if you couldn't care less about anybody."

Olga remained impassive, her teal eyes studying the man across from her. She took another sip of her whiskey, the fiery liquid warming her insides.

"I suppose so." She brushes three fingers over her lips in contemplation. "Do you still have connections to the arms distributor? I need to acquire certain… materials,"

The man leaned back in his chair, swirling his drink thoughtfully. He looked at Olga with a mixture of curiosity and skepticism. "You're not exactly one to ask for favors," he remarked, a sly smile playing at the corner of his lips. "But sure, I might be able to help you out. What kind of 'stuff' are we talking about here?"

"I have a list. But I can't say so much here. All you need to know for now is that you will get what you want," Old habits never change and this man was obsessed with money even when he didn't show it.

"I'll help you get what you need, but I'll need to see that list of yours first."

Olga reached into the inner pocket of her coat and pulled out a folded piece of paper. She handed it to him discreetly under the table. The list contained a variety of items, most of which were illegal and highly dangerous.

The man unfolded the paper and quickly scanned its contents. As he read, his expression shifted from curiosity to a mixture of surprise and amusement. "Well, well," he chuckled, "this is quite the shopping list you've got here, Olga. You're not messing around, are you?"

"No, I'm not," Olga replied curtly.

The man nodded and refolded the paper, tucking it into his own pocket. "Consider it done. I have contacts that can procure these items. So when will you need them?"

"Next week. That should be enough time. And I don't need them to be assembled, so don't charge me extra for it." She gets up, having already finished her whisky. "The usual place, same as back then?"

"Ah, right," He said, trying to recall where she meant as it had already been so long. "You know, tracking you was worthwhile, since almost all my past clients have kicked the bucket,"

"I've heard. Then, Mr Kong, have a pleasant night. May the Lord look after you," She bid farewell, leaving the bar.

The last line was certainly something he hadn't expected. She never seemed to be the religious type, but it only proves her current allegiance.

Well, he wouldn't know any better as 15 years could do a lot to a person.

And from the looks of it, she's already gotten herself entangled in other strange matters.

Not that it really mattered to him.

Olga was like any clients of his that just so happened to dabble in the supernatural.

Buy and supply was his way of life, and it will stay like that until he bites the dust.

But… There was still someone from her past that's still around. He wonders if perhaps a small part of her coming back was to see his child all grown up.
