Jaune loved his adoptive big sister, he really did. He just wished she could be a little less…well... evil. Still, Cinder saved him from their cruel adoptive mother and swore to look after him, so he can't abandon her. Maybe in between this whole "destroying the world" stuff, he can convince her to be a good person. She saved him so it's his brotherly duty to save her in return.
