It only took two months for Felicia to fall back into old habits. The contrast of her monotonous civilian life to the thrills of her criminal one became ever more apparent once she sold the ring she stole. The 300 thousand she pocketed from the sale was a reminder that although her criminal exploits came with great risk, they were financially lucrative. The re-ignition of her criminal career came following a dry spell of clients seeking her company's services. The money she made from the rings sale managed to financially bridge her company's payroll for some time before it was eventually exhausted.. Fearing she'd fall short of payroll, Felicia decided to influx the difference from the only other career she knew she could source a significant quantity of cash quickly. She still had Ray's number, and taking a leap of faith, dialed the line. Ray answered almost immediately, as if he'd been waiting diligently for her call, and to her luck he had a list of several items he wanted to add to his collection. With all the items being local, and after haggling a price for her services, Felicia got to work immediately. It only took Felicia 6 days to acquire all the goods Ray had sought. Although she told herself, upon receiving payment, that this would be the last time she would contract her services, the vow only lasted another three weeks before she contacted Ray again. This time there was really no monetary need, at least for her company's sake, and was merely Felicia indulging herself with the thrill of the heist. Following another successful heist, the arrangement became more formal with Felicia establishing a new discreet line of communication for contacting Ray and a more secure and expedient method to receive payment. In a period just over 6 months, Felicia's heists caught attention of the local media. Though they were unaware of her identity, they labelled her the "White Widow," for the white outfit she wore and the absolute precision she conducted her heists with. The notoriety surrounding a new thief in the city spurned a public interest, particularly from those of the criminal element, in investing in security for their personal property. This interest was a boon for Felicia's business which began to receive a steady stream of prospective clients. Felicia's thievery would consequently expand beyond the contracts provided by Ray and evolve into her conducting her own personal heists. The idea came to her once she began reviewing the list of prospective clients who had contacted her company. It occurred to her that a significant number of the requests were from individuals who she determined were criminals looking to protect their illicit wealth. She figured she'd do the city a favor and relieve them of their illicit gains. Upon reviewing their background and confirming her suspicions, she'd inform the client that her company was unavailable as they had no available bookings for the next three months. It'd only be a few days before the client would find themselves another victim of the "White Widow." The thrill of the heist along with the money she made, which was near comparable to what she made during her "Black Cat" days, seemed to override her focus on her original objective, which was keeping her son safe. The excitement from breaking out of the monotony of her civilian life simply enthralled her too much to give it anymore attention.

Following another night of a successful heist, in which she had deprived another thief of a precious set jewels he had stolen earlier, Felicia was back home reviewing her loot. Having gotten home hours earlier and relieving her nanny of her shift, Felicia had spent the past hours reviewing the loot she had acquired. She itemized jewels by their value, separating the ones she knew she could sell quickly while reviewing them for any defects. A gold diamond necklace hung in her left hand as she playfully dangled it in front of her face. Besides its great value ,she admired its craftsmanship, the extreme amount of detail that went into the creation of the ring. It saddened her that she wouldn't be able to keep it, as its uncanny detail made it one of a kind, and thus too recognizable. She put the necklace in a plastic ziplock bag, labelling it before tossing it with the other jewels she planned to sell. The cataloging had taken a few hours and exhausted the last reserve of energy Felicia had. She rubbed her right eye before laying her head on her sofa pillow and falling asleep. Her slumber was cut short to a catnap as she was awaken only a few hours later by a knock on the door. Felicia's head instantly bolted up, as she glanced to her sides, realizing she had her loot still strewn all about. She picked up her phone ,which was vibrating, and saw Diana was calling her. She figured Diana was mostly likely at the door. She hurriedly grabbed her bagged loot and headed towards her bedroom. She made her way towards her walk-in closet and brushed her hanged clothes to the end of their rack. She pressed into the edge of the wall which clicked before unlatching itself, revealing a false wall that led into a small room that Felicia had created for storage. Inside was her uniform hung neatly beside a a large rectangular safe. She entered her code into the keypad, quickly unlocking it. Inside were a number of drawers, each containing a variety of loot that Felicia had stolen earlier and categorized. She tapped her fingers at the tops of the drawers, descending downward before finding the one she used for jewels. She quickly tossed her bagged loot inside before closing the safe and exiting her safe room. She racked her clothes back in front of the false wall before racing towards her son's bedroom. She entered his room to find an empty disheveled bed and her son absent. The absence would make any other mother frightful, but being wary of her son's abilities and behavior, this only proved a slight annoyance. She turned her attention upward to see her son walking across the room's ceiling.

"Jason get down now," Felicia gritted through her teeth.

"Mommy…" he said nervously.

"Jason."

Fearing provoking his mother anymore, Jason hurriedly made his way down the ceiling, before his mother yanked him off the wall midway. She wagged her finger toward disapprovingly as she carried him towards the front door. She stopped just short, peering into her peephole to confirm her guests identity. Through the lens she could the familiar figure of Diana, who she could see was holding a large white bag in her right arm while she texted with her left. After confirming her guest, Felicia brushed her hair with her hand quickly before doing the same for her son, who was completely befuddled at the sudden situation. His confusion would be relieved with a sense of familiarity as he saw the figure of Diana, an individual he remembered and was quite fond of, after his mother opened the door.

"Finally!" Diana said as she raised her hands upward before approaching Felicia. They greeted each other with a quick kiss and a slightly awkward hug. Diana turned her attention to Jason, who was held against his mother's shoulder. Diana grabbed the bottom of his chin before rapidly shaking her head smiling as she looked at the toddler with delight. Once their greeting had concluded, Diana raised the white bag she was holding, revealing the contents within.

"I brought breakfast!" She said happily.

From the smell, Felicia recognized the food's origin from a breakfast bar she and Diana frequented.

"Oh I love Nana's!" Felicia exclaimed. She turned her attention to Jason who she knew would happily welcome a wholesome breakfast. "Just in time too!"

Diana entered inside and the trio made their way towards the kitchen. Felicia set Jason down in a high chair beside a table before going to her cabinets and pulling out a series of plates and utensils. Diana laid the bag she was holding atop the table and began removing the packaged food she had brung. Inside were a number of boxes each containing a variety of breakfast foods: specialty waffles, scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon. After laying the plates and utensils down, Felicia begin to brew a pot of coffee. As the drip coffee pot began to churn and fill up, Felicia sat down beside Diana and Jason and began to ready a plate for her famished son. She placed a small amount of eggs on his plate and one blueberry waffle that she carefully cut up into smaller pieces so they were more chewable for him. As for Felicia, she helped herself to her favorite, strawberry waffles and a generous amount of bacon. "Nana's breakfast bar," had been Felicia and Diana's go to on their late nights out where they could recover from their inebriation with copious amounts of carbs and coffee. Though not recovering from the effects of alcohol, Felicia was still a little physically exhausted from the previous night heisting loot, and was happy to recharge with her favorite breakfast food. The three proceeded to consume their food, Felicia intermittently stopping to clean Jason's face or chastise him for the mess he was making. Felicia left the table briefly and headed towards the coffee pot ,which had finished brewing, and poured herself and Diana a cup of coffee. They drank a few sips, pushing their empty plates to the side, before Diana finally spoke.

"So..erm… Mr. Suarez called again, he wants a consultation next mon and we've got an installation at the Anderson building on Tuesday morning."

"Good, you can handle Suarez. I'll book a crew for Tuesday and probably just have Curtis supervise that."

Diana let out a heavy sigh before hanging her head back in her chair.

"Ohhh can't this city just take a few days off from robbing!?"

Felicia paused as she was about to take a sip of her coffee, puzzled at Diana's statement.

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"We've been booked nonstop for the past two months! We barely go out anymore!"

"We're getting paid, and we have responsibilities, but things will slow down eventually."

"Slow down!? Have you seen last nights emails? Do you know how many people have contacted us for service!?"

"It's a lot I know."

"Not to mention that one "White Widow," chick who's been robbing everyone and freaking every rich person in town."

Felicia grimaced slightly, she hated the mentioning of her secret alias, especially from her partner who she had kept ignorant of her identity.

"She's business, and we're making a killing off this boom."

"I know, I know it's just…. I didn't want to live my life monotonously working every damn second. I need some fun! I need some excitement! I need to get away with you, away from this. Just for a few days."

It had dawned on Felicia, that while the boom to her security business had kept her daily life mostly preoccupied, her "late night engagements," had effectively consumed any residual free time that she would normally commit to Diana.

"Babe…. We're gonna do that, I promise, but please let's just get through this last month. Then afterwards I'll put all this money to good use. We'll go somewhere… Paris maybe, and I'll have Jason watched over so it'll just be the two of us."

Felicia's words assuaged the frustration Diana had been feeling. Diana drew her hand forward and placed it atop Felicia's, rubbing it softly as she let out a relieved sigh.

"Okay," she said as she smiled slightly.

While the conversation had remedied their relationship at the moment, Jason, who had been a bystander to the whole event, suddenly made his attention known as he braced his hands on his high chair and attempted to get out. Felicia turned her attention to her son and wanting to spend a little more time with Diana, decided to lift him up and free roam. As she placed him on the ground, she drew her left palm up towards his face and with her right hand used her middle and index finger to imitate a walking motion ascending upward her palm. She then drew her left hand back and waved her right index finger vehemently side to side, indicating her disapproval. Diana had noticed the hand gesture, as she noticed Felicia had done several times before to Jason, and wondered what exactly Felicia disapproving of.

"W-what does that mean?"

"Huh?"

"That hand thing you did. You always do it to Jason, but I never know what it means."

"Oh…. It, it just means don't go crazy. He can wreck the place sometimes."

"Huh, ok."

Jason scampered off and made his way towards the living room. Since his mother made her disapproval of his wall crawling clear, he was limited to his bipedal locomotion which was improving day by day. As his mother and her partner cleaned up and conversed more, he made his way towards the sofa where he recognized the remote to the television was lying on. He decided he'd try to watch favorite show, "Cocomelon," and remembering that his nanny "Jessica," used the remote to play the show pulled himself up onto the couch and reached for the remote. Unfortunately, he could not ascertain the purpose of the many buttons on the remote and began pressing buttons randomly. By chance he pressed the power button which activated the television and showed food programming. Recognizing that the programming was not his favorite kids show, he continued pressing more buttons, inadvertently changing the channel to a news station. Frustrated he shook the remote and pressed more buttons, but only succeeded in setting the volume function to max. The deafening sound of the newscaster speaking caught the attention of Felicia and Diana who hurried over to assess the commotion. Felicia raced over and grabbed the remote from Jason's hands, and set the volume to normal settings before lifting him and placing him against her shoulder. As she caressed her son, her attention turned to the television which was showing a news broadcast. Emblazoned on the bottom of the screen was the words in all caps: "WILSON FISK ARRESTED." Upon reading the title, Felicia turned her attention to the female broadcaster who was commenting on the situation.

"Yes, ladies and gentlemen, you're reading that correctly. Wilson Fisk, also known as 'Kingpin,' has been arrested. This following a dramatic siege by New York police on Fisk Tower. We have confirmed reports that siege was spearheaded by New York's very own 'Spiderman,' who was instrumental in apprehending Fisk as he attempted to escape. News teams were unable to reach Spiderman for comment but were able to capture an audio bite from Fisk as he was led away into police custody."

The broadcast cut to a shaky camera footage of Fisk as he was led into a police vehicle.

"Idiot! I'm the one who kept order in this city! One month! In one month you'll wish you had me back!"

The broadcast then cut back to the newscaster who continued with her commentary on the matter.

"So they finally caught that fatso," Diana commented.

Felicia was slightly too catatonic to process what Diana had said. The revelation that Fisk was arrested and possibly going to jail for good was a premise that Felicia never thought possible or would recommend. Though she had conflicts with Fisk, having deprived him of a number of his property, she recognized that Fisk's consolidation criminal activities of the New York underworld was more of a boon than bane to the city. He kept prospective criminal parties ,looking to break into the city's underworld market, at bay and established a significant level of order to how criminal business could be conducted in the city. The upside to Fisk's operation was a revelation her former lover, Spiderman, could never understand no matter how much she explained it to him. With Fisk gone, criminal parties were free to operate as they pleased, without regard to the city's and its citizens wellbeing. This particularly concerned her in regard to the Maggia, a criminal organization with a strong affinity for violence. They greatly despised Fisk for limiting their operations, but with Fisk gone they were free to expand their operations without reprisal. The subsequent power vacuum would likely draw in an escalation of violence the city hadn't seen in years. She figured it would only be a matter of time.

She sighed as she thought to herself, "Oh Spidey…. What have you done?"
