First Dungeon Dive

A/N: A new chapter is on the horizon. We have Jaune joining the Hestia Familia, while revealing, he is from another world. Keeping a secret about his origins is a good idea, unwanted attention, and selfish gods. Who knows what will happen, when the world knows, that there is life, even beyond the gods reach? But enough of that, lets see how Jaune does as he enters the dungeon, for the first time. So Without a further ado, let's go!

Bell and Jaune walked back into town, they both talked about their times before coming to Orario. How Bell grew up alone with his grandfather, farming village etc. Jaune did ask if he knew his mother and father, but Bell just replied with a sad smile saying.

"No I just remember my grandpa, he taught me everything I know. Well besides with Goddess Hestia. But, he taught me that doing good for others is the right way to go. That this world needs goodness.

And he whole heartedly believed that, doing that good is in the dungeon." Bell spoke about his grandpa with such pride, and fondness.

This made Jaune, look at Bell with a warm smile. He truly reminded him, of himself, when he was younger. He looked up to his father, his grandfather, and his other forefathers. He wants to be a hero like them.

He knows the world isn't so black and white, but that doesn't mean he can't try to live up to those ideals. He was about the same age as Oscar, and oddly enough already saw him like a little brother. Only knowing Bell for a few hours, he felt a true kinship between each other.

They both have the same goal, and wants to do good in the world. Bell perked up, and wanted to ask Jaune something.

"Hey Jaune, I know you already told me and goddess about your family, but you haven't told us a lot." Bell said to him, all he said was he had a big family, and he didn't say how many family members. Just about the Arcs, being a family of warriors, heroes even.

Jaune froze at that. He never truly said anything about them. Guess with everything going on, he forgot to say anything. Jaune took a breath, and just smiled at him.

"Yeah your right I didn't, well for one I have seven sisters, and I am the youngest in the family." Jaune revealed, with Bell standing in utter shock.

"SEVEN SISTERS?!" Bell yelled out, making others freeze at the outburst. Jaune just smiled and laughed at that. 'Never gets old.' Jaune thought to himself in amusement.

Jaune then told him about his sisters, how one is adventurous, how one is gifted in smarts, twins, with one goofy and sweet, and one prickly, a real tsundare. How one is just a normal girly girl, but nice to everyone like him. One who is a house wife with her wife, and son.

Bell was surprised, with hearing about Saphron, and asked how they can even have children. Jaune said, he helped out with that. So technically his nephew is his son.

Jaune left out the fact, that they wanted to do it naturally. He wanted to just donate, because he didn't want to didn't want to disrespect her, and Terra. But, they explained that they knew he liked Terra back in the day. He was friends with her, and she was his one of his first crushes, but seen how Terra, and Saphron looked at each other, he didn't want to ruin that for them.

They knew of his feelings, and it was a way to thank him. The week for inseminating was one of the best weeks of his life. He could feel the passion in Terra, and she felt it too. If she and Saphron weren't together, they would have been compatible. Truthfully one night was enough.

But Terra wanted it to make sure, and she was really enjoying her time with him. Saphron knew of this, and agreed eagerly. To her shame she had a small brother complex. But, they worked it out, by talking it out. She was so happy to have a brother like him. And for them to have such a loving family.

That made Bell look at him weirdly at first. But, hearing their reasons why they had him do that, he smiled at that. To make a family due to love, not because of political, a selfish agenda made him truly happy.

Little did the two know that, sometimes Saphron looked in on them in secret, she found it so hot, seeing the her wife, with her brother. She knew it was a temporary thing, so she didn't want to miss it, and she would not let any other man near her wife. Her brother was the only one worthy to be near her. Again if it wasn't for Jaune, they wouldn't have been together.

Jaune eventually talked about his time at Beacon, how initiation happened, Bell was still shocked how Ozpin did it. Falling out of the air, having to land. Calling it a "Landing Strategy", sounded ridiculous. But, as Jaune went on about battles, and how they are done, he can actually see the reasons for it.

He even explained his team, in more detail. Bell knew that Jaune always held them up in high regard. But, when it came to Pyrrha Nikos, he can feel the passion coming off of Jaune. His respect, and affection he had for her was something else.

Jaune told him that she was a very passionate person. The most friendliest woman you will ever meet your life. She an amazing warrior, a tournament fighter four times in a row, with someone so young.

Bell can only think of Ais of being that amazing at a young age. She was only 8, if he can remember right, when she first entered the dungeon and went on from there. She is one of the most powerful swordswomen in all of Orario. "Sword Princess", is her title, it's like she just glides across the battlefield, killing all the monsters, with the grace of an angel.

Bell wants to get strong enough to stand by her side, and those two of falling in love in the future. Yes, he was smitten with her, it's kind of love at first sight.

Bell went in the dungeon to again, be a hero, and find a great woman to fall in love with. His grandfather always told him, "Women love heroes, especially those who save them." But his was reverse, he fell in love with a woman, who saved his life in the dungeon.

Jaune told him, Pyrrha was the first one to ever believe in him. When Bell asked about that, Jaune said his family didn't believe that he could be a huntsman, but he knew that was part of the truth. He knew that his family didn't want to see the only male Arc, besides his father get hurt. Jaune didn't like the fact that, his family had to baby him so much.

He was grateful for that, and he knew that they did that because they loved him, and he loves them for it. But, that still made Bell look on questioning.

"But, if you knew that they did it because they loved you, then why does it seem like you are upset about it? It seems like a good thing would it not?" Bell asked Jaune. Bell felt that if he had a mother, father, and siblings worry about him like that, he would feel very grateful.

But, Jaune just let out a tired sigh.

"I agree, it was good to have a family who loves you like that, it truly is a blessing isn't it?" Jaune seemed to agree with Bell, but, Bell seen that Jaune wasn't finished.

"But, I was never given freedom really." Jaune said looking down. Bell looked confused. Jaune saw this but continued.

"Again, I was babied, they all seen me like this glass doll, that no matter what happened I would shatter." Jaune said, with him looking on with some annoyance.

"I was never able to go out to do anything on my own. So as a result, my sisters, used me like a dress up doll, putting me in dresses, they did it to tease me, and they also did it because they felt that, it was a good bonding experience." Jaune said in the end with a mixture of annoyance, and humor.

That made Bell chortle a little, but caught himself, not wanting to insult his new Familia Member.

"Yeah, yeah laugh it up, they all had a good chuckle too, saying 'oh you look so cute', or, 'you are prettier than me', that did not hold up well with my self-confidence as a man though." Jaune said, making Bell flinch a little, he could start to see the pain there.

"On top of that I was socially awkward, even now too though. So I was never able to make real friends growing up. Everyone wanted to get with, or be friend my sisters over me. So they used me to get to my sisters. When my sisters rejected them, due to either not being interested, or figuring out that they were only using me.

But, as a result, I had no friends, they ended up not wanting to be around me, ignoring me, or bullying me. Petty reasons." Jaune said to him. Bell, looked at Jaune sadly.

Bell, could sympathize with Jaune, coming to Orario, no one wanted him, due to him looking weak, or not interested in him. That was truly a lonely time in his life, and later a goddess, his goddess, came in and saved him. Jaune took a breath and continued.

"I was alone, no one around. Sure I had my family. But, they are your family, of course they are going to be there for you, but, that's it, when you have a mom, dad, siblings, it's almost expected for them to love you, and essentially be your 'friends'. I had them, but I could never do much of anything on my own." Jaune said looking down sadly.

"Everyone in my family was good at something, while I didn't. Each one of my sisters had a talent, that looked almost second nature to them. From running, climbing, interacting, a hidden talent, they all had something, while I, I was just one to be laughed at." Jaune said, looking down sadly, him and Bell stopped walking.

"I was just the laughing stock, someone who always falls over, and mess up, almost making someone else looking good. Always seen as the loveable idiot trapped in a tree, while everyone is either fighting for their lives, or just having a good time." Jaune said looking down sadly, voice sounding defeated. He always felt that everyone around him was better at everything than him.

From sports, making friends, cooking, etc. He always felt behind no matter what he did.

"So when my family found out that I wanted to be a huntsman, they were almost immediately against the idea. My dad gave me one sparring match to appease me, and said, 'I'm sorry son, you don't have it takes', so my family made sure to keep me everything huntsman related, from swords, blade sharpening, fighting, even aura." Jaune said to Bell as they continued to stand still.

"You know, a lot of people in my world, had known what aura is, but, my family did their best to make sure I didn't know, what aura was, to get me to think that, I truly never had a chance." Jaune said to Bell, now looking at him, cracking a small smile to him.

"You know how I got in already, I used fake transcripts to get in, I was so desperate to do this, this was my dream. My family, just taught me how to cook, clean, sew. They wanted me to be a house husband. The ultimate safe job apparently. I truly thought about that. If I became a house husband, then my wife would be the breadwinner, with her doing all the work, while I just stay at home, doing chores, alone, and bored." Jaune finished.

Bell then spoke up again, with a questioningly look,

"But, wait if they wanted you safe, then why not teach you self-defense, you are alone, with soulless beasts running around, bandits, etc. why wouldn't they even teach you anything?" Bell asked. It didn't make sense they lived in a world where creatures and people can kill them at any given moment, they need some kind of combat experience.

Jaune chuckled bitterly at that.

"You would think that right, I was having more thoughts about that at Beacon. My dad always thought that, he will always be there to protect us, and that I will constantly live close by to keep an eye on everyone." Jaune said to Bell.

Bell just looked on with a face that said, "are you stupid."

"Th-th-that doesn't make sense, you can't be there all the time, he could be out of town, and not be able to get there in time!" Bell said out loud to him. It was a flawed and stupid way of thinking.

Jaune just laughed out loud a little.

"Hahahaha, thank you I thought the same thing! He can't be everywhere at once. And they assumed I would be a stay at home husband, that's if I could become a husband in the first place." Jaune said, with Bell looking at him confused.

'Why would he think that?' Bell thought to himself, he could have asked that out loud but, he was a little stunned. Jaune really didn't have a lot confidence in himself. Jaune just looked at him with amusement.

"I know what your thinking, 'why would I think that?' Well the reason is, I was never popular with girls, never been on a date, held hands at the time, or even kissed a girl at the time. So I wasn't going to find her, anytime soon. And, what truly made me sad, and angry, was I knew what my family was going to do to mitigate that….they were going to choose a woman for me, who they believed would be good for me." Jaune said giving a bitter smile.

Bell widened his eyes in shock. That, is not a good idea, you can't just choose someone to be with somebody, there is no connection, there is no love, both sides would be miserable!

"Yeah I know, I was pissed too." Jaune said to him.

"But, back with Beacon, I showed my family my acceptance letters, they didn't even give me a congratulations, they just looked nervous, and my parents said to me, 'You are welcomed home if things don't work out.' That told me right there, they didn't have confidence in me of succeeding. But, yet I also knew they were saying that because they did love me, and that I could always come home, but, it felt like they were expecting me to fail, so I stayed and proved them wrong. I didn't know about aura, until my partner Pyrrha Nikos had told me about aura, and unlocked it for me…I owe everything to her." Jaune said to Bell with him looking with a far off look.

Bell knows he still misses her, he doesn't blame him, he still misses his grandpa.

"She was the first to believe in me, and she saw that I could be something more. She trained me, but what was surprising, was, I was able to absorb the training like a sponge." Jaune said, giving a fond smile, with Bell perking up.

"What I discovered at Beacon, is I apparently was pretty good with strategy, I already told you about my initiation and the deathstalker, and I was able to lead them to victory. I didn't know I even had it in me. I even overheard my own team singing praises of me, of how great of a fearless leader I was. The Fearless Leader part was from Nora I had told you about, she was very loud, but very loving." Jaune said giving a fond smile. That caused Bell to chuckle a little.

"Pyrrha offered to train me, I didn't at first, due to my own pride, I wanted to do something for myself for once. But after sometime of being blackmailed from a bully, I will tell you about that later, I managed to swallow my pride, and accept that help." Jaune said to Bell, and Bell was about to question about being blackmailed, but stopped when Jaune said he will explain later. Bell just nodded as Jaune continued.

"I was able to pick up the basics rather quickly, that surprised me to no end, I felt that, I could become a true huntsman, and I could be able to fight side by side with all my friends. I thought that I was so weak, when Pyrrha had passed, so I had my scroll, with a thing called a recording of her training when I was not around. I watched that over and over, while training, until I collapsed. I blamed myself for being too weak, that she died because of me, and that I should have never went to Beacon."

Jaune said, with Bell looking at him with shocked wide eyes.

"I thought that, maybe if she had someone who was trained, and not as weak as me, she would have been still alive, and maybe a lot less deaths would have happened." Jaune said, being self-deprecating again.

"But, hearing how Ozpin could reincarnate, and the Maiden powers was originally his, it made me realize. I didn't stand a chance, she didn't stand a chance, but, I felt, no needed to kill Cinder, for killing, and hurting so many people, and for taking Pyrrha away from me."

Jaune spoke with fiery conviction, but turned somber.

"I did manage to kill her, but as you know, she killed me too. But, in the end she is dead, I should be glad, happy and at piece right? But, all I feel is emptiness, sadness, like a hole is there. I got my revenge, so why am I not satisfied, Cinder Fall was the woman who did so much crime, cause so much pain, I swore revenge, and got it. Why am I not….happy?" Jaune said to Bell, and to himself. Bell looked sad, for him and confused himself.

'He is right, why isn't he satisfied, he got his revenge so why?' Bell, asked himself, and Jaune took a deep breath.

"I am still learning and accepting this Bell, but, revenge will not give you piece, it will just make you feel, and realize, you wasted your time on something petty and feeble. Granted she needed to be stopped, and I deeply believed that, but my revenge clouded that. Revenge will only leave you hollow, and you will have nothing in end. I am coming to terms with that, and accepting that. I want to be a person, that everyone will be happy to see, and know that I am there for them.

Like I used to be. I know I can never be the man I once was, but be something better, and make Pyrrha, my family, everyone proud of me. So Bell, listen, if you let revenge cloud your life, you will not find true happiness, I learned that the hard way."

Jaune finished talking to Bell, giving him a serious face, and teaching him an important life lesson. "Revenge, will not give you piece, and that Justice, can be clouded by revenge, reevaluate your resolve, don't make it about yourself, think of the others around you, they matter, as just as much as you."

Bell and Jaune kept walking, but then Jaune laughed a little and sighed, while rubbing the back of his head.

"Hehe, sorry about that Bell, you just wanted to ask about my family, and I went on a tangent, please forgive me for that." Jaune said looking sheepish.

"N-no, Jaune, don't worry about it, I could tell you have been carrying that a lot. And, you wanted to tell someone, I'm glad you told me, and I believe that I found a good lesson in that as you said." Bell shook his hands at Jaune, to make sure that he understands his reasonings.

Jaune looked confused at first, with Bell getting a lesson, but then remembered his story in the end, and gave a small smile.

"Revenge, and Justice can go hand and hand, but justice can be overshadowed with revenge, evaluate your reasonings for why you fight, and fight for others, rather than yourself, because, fighting for yourself can only get you so far." Bell finished with his own smile.

Jaune just smiled, and laughed a little, while draping his arm over Bell's shoulders.

"Well said Bell, again, I am still learning and accepting that lesson, and I learned it hard. And, here is another lesson. Keep your emotions in check, I almost died almost instantly, for letting my anger get the better of me. So again Bell, keep a cool head when fighting, and use your anger as a tool. I can be a good weapon, and at the same time, a double edge sword."

Jaune said in the utter most seriousness. He overlooked openings, charging in widely, being sloppy, because he let his emotions get the better of him.

Bell, took on a more serious face with what Jaune had said. He is right, he needs to keep his emotions in check. He ran into the dungeon after hearing Ais' team mate make fun of him. He came home, exhausted, and almost died a few times in the dungeon. That is something both him, and Jaune can work on together.

They arrived to guild hall, seeing other adventurers coming in and out, from their times in the dungeon, and other jobs. They went to the receptionists desk, it was time for Jaune to get a receptionist, and sign up to go into the dungeon. Lucky for them Eina was there to greet them, and she smiled seeing the two.

"Oh Bell, and Jaune it's great to see you two again, I assume you two got everything sorted out?" Eina gave a question, but knew the answer already. Both Bell and Jaune gave kind smiles, and nodded. Eina put her hands together, and smiled pleasantly, she couldn't wait to see where these two will go. She feels that, they are going to do a lot, and that things would become more interesting.

"Perfect, now Jaune, I did some work, sadly I won't be able to be your receptionist but, I have the next best one." Eina said with professional, and personal happiness.

A woman who was about 5'9 came by Eina, she had deep crimson hair, that almost went to her back side, she had fluffy wolf ears on her head, and an equally fluffy wolf tail(I don't know if she has a tail or not), crimson red also. She had a sharp gaze that seemed like that could freeze a man in his tracks. It was fierce, almost seemed annoyed/ angry.

She looked at Jaune, and her eyes seemed to ease up a little seeing him. She was able to hear his speech, she would be lying to herself, if she didn't feel her heart flutter a little and soar. His words ignited a lot of people, his conviction, of being an adventurer, and wanting to do good for people was rare. It was a real refresher, to see, and hear someone, especially someone of his age, to have that unwilling determination, and conviction. It made her hopeful.

She never accepted love from adventurers, she always assume that, the adventures would just die eventually, leaving her all alone, and she doesn't want to go through that grief.

The adventures she has seen, were all arrogant, thinking they were invincible, ending up dying. Selfish, always looking out for themselves, for glory, for riches, killing each other out of jealousy, for their own greed, lust, etc. Truly she hated how adventurers are.

A lot of them were just greedy, and she could say for the most part even evil.

Letting their familia die so they could get the riches, it made her sick. Now granted, she has seen some with good enough hearts. But, they end up dying thinking they could go off on an adventure and come back unscathed, that was their mistake, and she warns them, "don't go on an adventure." She doesn't want them to die, some do listen, but they are not good people, and she still feels that they will die.

But, hearing Jaune's conviction. Filled her with hope. His words helped her realize that, maybe that there are a few gems in the dungeon worth protecting, and preserving. Granted she does care for all adventurers to some degree, but Jaune was like a true light that she wants to preserve.

She learned from Eina that, her client Bell Cranel, is similar to him, she just thought that Bell was just a childish boy, immature and too optimistic. Thinking that he will get himself killed sooner or later.

But, hearing Jaune's speech, made her hope, hope that there will be more adventurers like him, more that are selfless, willing to help, and stick to their convictions in the right ways. Ones who will never give up, and will always do the right thing.

She felt that maybe, just maybe she could probably say yes to a date to an adventurer. But, she still doesn't know. The thought is there, but who knows, time will tell.

"Hello I am Rose Fannett…..your new advisor." Rose introduced herself, sounding more kinder in her profession. Normally she is cold, and refuse to do business with people who want to do work as an adventurer, again for them dying. But, this young man she will do work gladly.

Jaune smiled at her, and stuck out a hand to shake her hand.

"Glad to meet you , Jaune Arc, I'm glad you will take me on."

Jaune said to her giving her a genuine friendly smile. Rose blinked at his politeness, true there are some who are gentlemanly, but, she was always looked at with lustful eyes. Women can always tell when they are looked at with lust for the most part. To see this was like a breath of fresh air. She gave a small smile, and shook his hand.

"It's a pleasure Jaune, and please drop the Ms. I'm not old." Rose responded giving a sly look and answer.

This caused Eina to look on in shock, Rose Fannett, was never this polite to adventurers. She is always cold, and professional. She was never shown a kind enough smile to an adventurer. That rocked Eina's world.

Eina, also felt like it was a slap to the face to her.

'What do you mean by being called a Ms. makes you feel old, I am called a Ms. By Bell, and you are two years older than me, are you trying to say something here?!' Eina thought to herself.

Jaune just laughed a little.

"Ok just Rose it is. So what do I have to sign, and do to become an official adventurer?" Jaune asked after feeling Rose's very soft and surprisingly strong hand. Rose just nodded and brought up the papers for him.

"Follow me please we have paper work to do, and I will need to give you a run down of the dungeon." Rose said to him being professional again. She had a big stack of papers, no doubt he had to sign, and maybe more info about the dungeon, and the city.

Jaune just nodded, and followed her to another room. Jaune looked back to Bell, giving a friendly smile, and nodded at him, with Bell nodding at him back equally happy.

Some time had passed just about an half hour to 45mins at most. Bell knew how long it takes to sign and absorb all that knowledge. The meeting usually lasted two hours, and the sun doesn't set for another few hours, so when it is over, he can at least show Jaune the entrance to the dungeon, and head home, go dungeon diving tomorrow.

He then heard a door open with Rose looking somewhat surprised but happy. And Jaune looking a little mentally exhausted, Bell doesn't blame him, it was like doing multiple tests back to back. Very troubling.

But what shocked him, and Eina, they were done so quickly! It took Bell and Eina 2 hours to get everything done! Bell ran over with a shocked look.

"You two are done already?!" Bell yelled out. "It took me a few hours to get everything done, some adventures can get done in an hour of paperwork, and understanding the dungeon better. But it usually takes longer than that." Bell said to Jaune, who started to laugh a little timidly.

"That what she told me, but I am no stranger to paper work, you know how it is in schools." Jaune said to Bell, whispering the last part. Bell nodded at that, he forgot Jaune went to a high end school. So paper work, was nothing new.

"But, I get signing, but what about learning about the dungeon? All the info Ms. Eina gave me took much longer than signing anything." Bell, questioned. Eina was looking on too, thinking the same thing. They would usually give them info on the Dungeon, all the way down to the 18th level if need be. So what was different?

Jaune perked up at that.

"Oh I told her not to give me too much info for the lower floors, I just started, and I don't want to get too ahead of myself. I will be with you so, we both go at a certain pace. And, I also told her to give me the bare minimum on the monsters, how the dungeon works, where I could go etc. If I am going into the lower levels I will just talk to Rose about it, on what to expect." Jaune said to Bell.

That, shocked Bell, and Eina to no end. He deliberately held off on the info, because he just started?! Normally new adventurers, all wanted all the info that they could get. As they are always eager to go further, to find more glory, riches, etc.

But, Jaune wanted to play it smart, and go slow, he will learn more advance stuff later, as to not be overwhelmed. Don't go diving in, or you will be killed. Know what you need at the time, and grow from there. And, he has Bell to fill in any details from more of the upper floors.

Jaune learned that the dungeon for all intensive purposes, is alive. That really shocked him, how can that happen, but then again, he is in a real where magic, and gods exist along with him so, he should have seen that coming. He learned that the magic stones in the bodies of the monsters can be traded in for money, and when he asked what they are used for, he was told that it is used to run any electrical appliances, and heaters for the city, and other things. It made since to Jaune, power supply, and a near endless amount of it to 'mine' from.

He learned about how to harvest the stones, that they are usually always in the center of the body, like where the heart is, but for monsters. Some times killed monsters, will have drops, and he can return them to the guild, for trade in money, or other places, to be sold, or used to craft other things.

He was told about the way healing potions work, it sounded like normal stuff from Remnant, adjust a broken limb, so it will heal properly, without it turning out badly for you.

The knowledge was good, and when he heard Rose say, "don't go on an adventure" he was confused. Is being an adventurer supposed to be the idea. She explained that, adventurers go "adventurers", would just charge into the dungeon not caring about the dangers, and ends up either being crippled, losing a limb, or even dying for being way too over confident.

Jaune understood her logic, which brought them back to only learning about the upper floors, and it's monsters there, again he will learn more as he goes lower. With that everything was done, he can go into the dungeon if he wants to.

"Well Jaune, you can not go into the dungeon if you want to, but I highly advise you get, more supplies like potions, and other weapons, don't want you going in if your weapon breaks." Rose said to him.

Jaune nodded. "Yeah your right, but, I believe I should be alright for now, my 'skill', allows me to heal and strengthen others, and myself. I know it sounds impossible for me to have a skill so soon, but that's how it is."

This caused both Rose and Eina, look on with wide eyes. A fresh new adventurer to have a skill already?! While it is extremely rare, it is not unheard of. A level 1 could unlock a skill early, but that is usually fighting in the dungeon.

"T-t-t-that's good for you Jaune, but please be careful." Rose stuttered in surprise, that her new client already has a skill.

"Thank you, you too!" Jaune said to her cheerfully

As they were leaving, Bell looked slightly panicked.

"Jaune, you shouldn't have said that, you know we are supposed to keep your powers, and origins secret!" Bell screamed whispered at Jaune. Jaune just looked at him with a small smile.

"Don't worry Bell, I heard it is not unheard of level 1s to get a skill when they just get their falna, rare, but not unheard of. So it should ok, got it?" Jaune said to Bell, trying to reassure him. Bell, did understand, but it was still a little bit of a close call for the most part.

Bell breathed a sigh of relief, glad that not a lot of things will not bite them in the butt later on, then Bell turned that of joy.

"Jaune, we still have time, let's go check out the dungeon, like Ms. Rose said before, lets get more supplies before we really go into the dungeon. We can at least try the first two floors, to get you used to some of the monsters first." Bell suggested, it was a good plan, the next day they could hit the dungeon more.

"That's a good idea Bell, lets go right now." Jaune said eagerly. Bell nodded, and gestured to follow him.

After a few minutes of walking they made it to the entrance of the dungeon. Jaune knew he saw Babel was huge, but to be right in front of it, is gargantuan! He didn't know a tower can be this big, it almost looked like it could be a mile or two wide!

"This, this is like really big Bell." Jaune said with some meekness.

Bell chuckled slightly.

"Hehe, I thought the same thing coming here. It was overwhelming, but it goes to show you, the gods truly are something else." Bell said with pride, and slight enthusiasm. He truly looked up to the gods, sure a lot of them are jerks, but ones like goddess Hestia was amazing!

Jaune just nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, so lets go in yeah?" Jaune said, with Bell agreeing immediately.

They went down a huge flight of stairs, and seen made it to level one. It was surprisingly beautiful, the rocks give off a natural glow of light, like if you would go cave diving and find a natural light, off the rocks, or even plants.

"Woah." Was all Jaune could say. Bell just nodded, he felt the same way.

As they walked they came across a small humanoid creature. It was a goblin, the most common when you first enter the dungeon. Bell deployed his knife, with Jaune doing the same with his sword. Jaune put up an arm to stop Bell to tell him 'let me handle this.' Bell was almost hesitant since it is his first time in the dungeon. But, he remembered how Jaune fought Grimm in his own world. Bell just nodded, and let Jaune fight first.

Jaune stepped forward, with the little green creature charging at him with claws. But Jaune noticed something, this creature was slow. Like really slow.

Jaune just easily side stepped it, and he raised his sword, and give a swift swing of his sword, and decapitated it. Jaune had won.

Bell ran over to Jaune giving him his congrats.

Jaune told him that it was really slow, which surprised Bell. The monsters were fast to him when he first started, but he assumed since Jaune fought stronger beings that was probably the reason.

More goblins came, Jaune and Bell looked at each other and smirked. It was time for a hunt.

About an hour past since a large abundance of goblins came, and a lot of magic stones later, they some how earned about 2000 valis! They knew that things can continue to change later. And Jaune knew that Bell needed work.

Bell rushed in like he did in the beginning. Bell was a speed fighter, like Ruby, quick strikes, and stabs utterly destroyed the goblins, but it was obvious that Bell wasn't strong enough to see them as easy canon fodder. The way he swings his knife is a little wild, but again so was his, all in good time. He noticed how much of a fast learner Bell was.

He tried to copy Jaune's way of dodging, but he got cut a few times, but was starting to get good at dodging. They eventually left the dungeon, with their heads held high. They will conquer the dungeon further, once they get more supplies the next day, this they swore.

Author's Note: I am so sorry for this taking so long, and I do apologize for the lack of fighting, and barely even fighting. I was rushing, and I am not good at writing fight scenes. I was introducing more of the relationship of Jaune and Rose, and how his speech effected people more.

Please be patient for the future as the story continues to grow.
