Jaune Arc is dead. During the battle for Haven, Jaune and Cinder killed each other, with Jaune being the last one standing with those two. He feels that he avenged everyone who died, and felt that he did the right thing for the friends and family, and everyone on Remnant. He was ready for the afterlife. But, he instead sees a giant tower, and gods among mortals!

Supporters and Blades

A/N: Alright here's another chapter, and I am so sorry for taking a while, I couldn't think of anything on how to write my stories. But I am back. And we previously seen that Jaune has started working on Crocea Mors, and it will take a few days, since it took Hestia about a day to make Bell's knife, a sword is more complicated, and Jaune will tell Hephaestus what kind of weapon she wants to make for him.

And like I said last chapter, Hephaestus will be giving Jaune endorsements/ investment for his weapon, and any weapons she makes in the future. So with every weapon sold he will get a certain set amount of course.

I will start to type this chapter as of Nov 8, and it is also my birthday month, Nov 20 is the date.

So without a further ado, let's go!

'clang' 'clang' 'clang'!

Those were sounds of Jaune working hard hammering away on the metal, like how Hephaestus taught him. This has been going on for a few hours, along with the day that passed. She taught him the basics of most weapons. When he first got in that forge Hephaestus taught him how to swing the hammer right, so he practiced on some simple metals, it took a few hours but he got the hang of it.

Even though they were both going on with little sleep, she allowed Jaune to sleep on the couch in her office, due to sometimes, she will

have to sleep in her office, due to work, and when she really gets into it.

Hephaestus was impressed, while still a rookie, and she has seen rookies do a lot better than him, he did absorb her teachings like a sponge.

He was able to thank Ruby for that, she taught him how to maintain his weapon back at Beacon, and while on the Road. He was never able to do much else, since Crocea Mors was so basic at the time. But she showed him the bare basics of how forging is down. Which was easier for Hephaestus to teach.

When he got that down, she pulled him aside and talked about the first mecha-shift weapon she was going to make, and for him. Jaune thought about it for a few minutes.

"Flashback"

Jaune was pacing back and forth, he thought of a good weapon for him right now. What could he use? Something that he can still hit someone from a distance but shortens back.

Wait shortens back that's it! Jaune turned to Hephaestus with an eager look in his eyes, and Hephaestus looked up happily with a small smile on her face. Jaune went over to her desk and looked her directly in her eye.

"I got it!" Jaune said in joy. "The weapon I am thinking of is some kind of spear, that can shorten into a sword" Jaune said to her. He looked to the forge to see if he can see the kind of spear would be a good base. He seen the spear and it had a thicker shaft and a regular spear head. He went over and grabbed it and bringing over to her desk.

"I am thinking of making the shaft thick like this, I seen most spears and javelins, look very thin, but I am not planning on throwing it unless I have to. But if I decide that, it will need to be a little bit thinner but I think I got the right kind of spear head I can use." Jaune said excitedly. Hephaestus nodded her head.

"So what do you have in mind for a blade Jaune?" Hephaestus asked him. Jaune grabbed a piece of blank paper that was on her desk, and pencil instead of her quill pen. And he started drawing. Hephaestus raised her brow in confusion.

'Why would he draw it, he could have explained it to me, or grabbed and example?' Hephaestus questioned to herself. Jaune looked up to see her confused face, and rubbed the back of his neck.

"Hehe, sorry about drawing, I can't think of the name of the blade type, and I didn't see an example of the blade I want on the wall over there." Jaune said to her.

Hephaestus nodded her head, she understands now. After a few seconds of watching Jaune sketch out a crude shape, he turned it around to show her.

It looked almost like a Gladius style blade. She looked up a little confused.

"You want the blade to be a Gladius?" Hephaestus questioned. Jaune just nodded his head. She looked back at the drawing, thinking how it will work.

"Are you sure, the spear shaft will be thicker than average?" Hephaestus asked him. It is true the shaft would be thicker to make than the average but, it would be a little awkward to throw if need be, but with training and practice he could do it.

Jaune nodded again.

"I know the shaft will be thicker than normal, but I have seen polearms, and other spears like the one I showed you thick like that, and besides turning it into a sword mode will help with the handle." Jaune said to her.

"And the color scheme I want to have, will be in honor of my late partner Pyrrha Nikos." Jaune said to her with a sad smile. Hephaestus gave a small smile to him at that.

"And the style of spear to sword, is essentially almost just like hers. But her weapon was a different kind of sword, and it was more of a javelin of what she told me. I might not be doing a lot of throwing, but the style of this mechashift weapon is meant to pay homage to my partner in terms in style." Jaune explained to Hephaestus. She then nodded at that, agreeing with his reasoning.

"I see what you mean by that Jaune, it will take sometime for me and others whom I trust fully to make it properly. You told me yours is more on the simpler side, so to make so many in the future, we will have to brain storm to make others with complexity. Yours is the bases of this all, and that spear/ sword hybrid will be the first." Hephaestus said to him. She wanted to let him know how important, and time consuming this will be, she doesn't know how long it will take to build, for it to be powerful enough, but damn it she will make it happen!

"Also for you to have pensions I will gift it to you personally, to let everyone know that, this product came from you, and you are the first to have it." Hephaestus said to him now standing up. Jaune stood there serious, and nodded his head, agreeing to it. This made the forge goddess smile happily at him. She walked over to him put her hands his shoulders and looked him in the eye.

"Alright with all that done, lets get your sword done." She said to him getting ready.

Flashback end

Jaune was busy beating away the metal glowing bright red, him shaping it to random shapes. He was sweating profusely due to the heat, and Hephaestus looked on quietly and at times stopped him, and told him where to hit at and move on from. He was getting the hang of the basics and he felt that he can do the work.

Hephaestus had told him that she would be doing majority of the work, since she doesn't want to make any mistakes with this. Hephaestus told him stop.

"Alright Jaune that's enough, take a break for a while, so you won't pass out from heat stroke, and as much as I like to see you with your shirt off, it's time for you to wipe yourself down alright?" Hephaestus throw a towel at him. It's true she did like seeing him shirtless, sure she may be the goddess of the forge, that doesn't mean she doesn't like to see a man from time to time.

Jaune just blushed a little, getting complemented by a goddess, was just so…..wow.

"Alright I'll rest." Jaune said wiping the sweat off of him, he sat down on a couch in her office. He grabbed a cup of water that she had brought in, he drank it carefully, and relaxed a little. His arms were starting to be swore, for doing so much swinging, his aura helped out, but he will be sore for a few seconds. His large aura reserves helps him out, a lot, able to heal, and get over allergies quickly!

Jaune decided to say something looking the smolder of where his metal was being melted and merged.

"So, how long until we can start working on her?" Jaune asked referring to his sword.

"It will take some time, your metal is very powerful, and I am merging it with Mithril, like I did with your captain, Bell Cranel. We will have to wait until night fall for us to bring it out, and will take hours to mold and shape it properly, so another two days for you." Hephaestus said to him.

Jaune looked outside, if he had to guess, it was probably about 4:00PM, night fall, would probably be in about 4 hours. He just leaned back and sighed, waiting for the metal to melt the way they want it to be.

Jaune was a little worried at first. He remembers Ruby telling him that forging a weapon is a big endeavor. A very good one could take days, weeks, or even months, depending on the complexity of the weapon, or if the smith has other things lined up. Jaune even brought this up to Hephaestus in the beginning.

At first she was impressed with his basic knowledge. Because non smithers would want a weapon in a matter of hours, she just told him: "Due to others falna, forging could take only a few days, if the person is working on only one blade, and nothing else, and since I am allowed to use my personal fire, the time will take less, but even then, I am limited." Is what Hephaestus said to Jaune. He was amazed at the small amount of time to do this.

He was learning the basics of smithing from a goddess, how lucky and blessed can one guy be?! He was eager to get Crocea Mors back, and fight again. Able to help out Bell and Hestia, and be a hero again. He kept thinking about his home, his family, his friends, it was depressing a little, he will always miss them.

His mind drifted over to Bell, wondering how he's doing.

'I hope Bell is doing alright, he has enough money to get a new armor, we talked about that before, maybe he got some already?' Jaune thought to himself.

2 hours later

The sun started to set, and Bell was standing by a fountain with Eina. She promised him to come with him to find a good spot to get a set of armor. After he talked to her for permission to go deeper, she suggested him to get armor, and to get a supporter.

She was glad to hear that Bell had a plan to do that, and said to meet her at the statue near the Babel, the next day. During that time he was training himself in strength, and endurance. Jaune showed him ways to actually work out on his own. Something called push-ups and Pull-ups(A/N: I don't know if they have the idea of exercise like that here, but back in the day, exercise like this wasn't really a thing, heck jogging wasn't an exercise until like the 1960s to 1970s!)

He wants to see if this will work for him. When he first started, he was feeling the strain and pain at first, and Jaune said that is normal, his muscles are working hard. He also told him focus on his legs more since he moves around a lot, Jaune showed him how running is great exercise, so he was running back and forth, from one side of the area he lived, he was doing this so he won't get so winded, and see, if he can increase his endurance. He did that majority of the day, when Hestia and Jaune left. And rested for the rest of the day.

Bell was looking at the sunset with Eina, basking in it's beauty. Eina decided to take her leave.

"This was a great day Bell, I'm so glad you picked out a good set of armor. I'm still surprised that you chose something so cheap." Eina said to Bell. He had a lot of money saved over, and she knew that he could have bought something a lot more. But what surprised her more was, Bell bought a different weapon!

Bell told her that "Jaune told me not to become reliant on one type of weapon, so I am thinking of using different weapons if I have to." Bell said to Eina at the time.

So to start out small enough axe that can be used with two hands. He looked up on the more versatile weapons, and he seen that axes are more versatile. It can be a good tool, a weapon, what ever he needs it for, and the axe head is very tough, and durable, and relatively easy to maintain.

It can essentially punch through tough armored monsters, or ones with a lot of muscle to cleave through, an axe may help. He is already pretty good using two knives, he will need to learn to swing his new axe.

"I will need to leave Bell please be careful Bell." Eina said getting closer to him, she was holding a cloth now, it seemed to have something in it.

"Please take this Bell." Eina gave him the cloth, Bell opened it up to see a green vambrace for his forearm. He looked at her with surprise.

"M-m-miss Eina, I can't accept this!" Bell tried to say, and wanting to give it back to her. But Eina just stopped him with an almost pleading look in her eyes, and a somewhat desperate action.

"No Bell, please keep it, I…..I have seen too many adventurers not come back from the dungeon. And I will hate to see you gone, from what I have seen, you and Jaune are the few most kind hearted, and dedicated adventurers that I have seen in a while." Eina said to him.

"I want you to live Bell, live for me, your goddess, and your second in command." Eina said to him, wanting her friend to live. "Continue to become stronger, and please Bell, please be careful." Eina begged Bell.

Bell just looked on, with slight shock. It was rare to hear how much a person cared for him outside of his grandpa, Goddess Hestia, and Jaune. In time he will meet others who will care for him that much too. So with a determined look, he looked at her and nodded his head.

"Yes, I promise to always come back alive." Bell said to her. Hestia just smiled happily at that. She gave him a final hug too.

"Thank you so much Bell, I will see you next time." Eina said to him walking away. Bell stood there watching her go, and looking down thinking and promising himself to become stronger, and survive for them.

Bell decided to walk down the allies as a shortcut to get home by. He was then bumped by a short person, which he could tell it was a girl, but he could tell that it was a Pallum due to her short height.

At least that's what he believes, or she could be a young girl, he couldn't tell, she was still facing away from him.

He was about to ask if she was ok, but then he seen someone running in his direction with a deep anger and hatred in his eyes. He drew a sword and started yelling at the girl.

"Your dead you stupid, worthless, Pallum slut!" The man yelled out, about to bring down his sword on her, but was stopped by Bell, putting up his knife, blocking the man and holding him still. The man just looked on in shock, seeing this young kid holding him back.

The man might be a level 1, but he is confident in his own sword skills, and strength, but of what he could tell, this is a rookie, a level 1 so he shouldn't be able to hold him back like that!

The now fallen Pallum looked on in shock seeing a random adventurer defend her, this was so unlike them to help someone!

As they held their ground, the man decided to pull back, if the kid wanted a fight, he is confident that he can beat a level 1 easily. He was just caught off guard when it came to swinging his blade. But he decided against it, don't want to have too much attention on himself, so he sheathed his blade onto his back.

"You got a problem brat, what this Pallum a friend of yours or something?!" The man asked Bell aggressively. Bell just held his hands up, to show no ill intent.

"O-oh no I haven't met her before." Bell said to him, trying to clear the air.

"Then why are you helping her, you don't know her?" The guy questioned again. Bell looked confused at that. At first he was just, going to say because she was a girl, but he remembered how Jaune told him how heroes worked. It didn't matter if they were a girl in danger, all that mattered was someone was in danger.

But, that side of him will not deny he is helping her because she is a girl who needs help.

"Oh well, because she is a girl, and that she needed help." Bell said to the guy. The man didn't like that answer apparently. He reached back for his blade again, about to cut down two people.

"Well, that's a stupid reason to die for." He said having his sword at the ready. Bell was about to fight back if he needed to, but he heard a familiar voice.

"Alright, that's enough." Said Ryuu, standing on top of the stairs Bell came down from. "Look at you two, crossing swords while in the city, you too should feel ashamed of yourselves." Ryuu said to them looking at them in cold disappointment. Bell looked down ashamed, but still felt that he did the right thing for helping someone in need.

The man didn't take too kindly seeing an elf woman telling him an adventurer off. She was nothing but a hostess.

"And you should keep your stupid mouth shut and out of this, now beat it before I-"

"Quiet now." Ryuu said to him in a cold and commanding voice. Her eyes seemed to shine, with the light of a warrior, a warrior far above them. This caused the man to freeze up at that.

"You shouldn't resort to using violence, I tend to go….too far sometimes." Ryuu said in a cold tone. This caused the man to suck in a breath and feel very intimidated by this elven woman. So with a huff he walked away muttering curses at her.

Bell deflated glad that the confrontation was over. Ryuu walked down the stairs to check on Bell. Bell just smiled at her, glad that she showed up.

"Now that was awesome Miss. Ryuu, thank you for saving me right there, I thought that I would have to fight him." Bell said to her, thanking her.

"I probably shouldn't have gotten in the way." Ryuu said to Bell.

She really didn't want to get into anyone's business like that. Especially those of adventurers. That was part of her elven heritage going into effect, seeing herself as superior to others. Over the years she tried to get that under control especially when she was with her familia years ago. But that was all a distant memory now. Bell looked behind him trying to find that girl he saved

"Huh, where did that girl go?" Bell questioned. Ryuu looked around only using her eyes, she can sense her still nearby, but decided to say nothing about it. Said girl was around the corner the whole time.

"She must have gotten scared and ran off, I do hope she's alright." Bell said. The girl just smiled deviously, but dropped ever so slightly. Hearing how he was worried for her made her mask slip a little. Ever since she heard that speech about that newbie who made that speech, she felt more hopeful, but not enough to start trusting everyone.

"Mr. Cranel Syr would have been really upset if you would to get hurt, please be careful." Ryuu said to Bell. She was about to go and leave but, stopped when noticing someone not with him.

"By the way, where is your teammate Mr. Arc, is he alright?" Ryuu asked curiously. Ever since she first laid eyes on him, she felt a little….kin ship with him. Like he knows the pain of loss she had and not feeling fulfilled, even though she gotten what she wanted. It was odd, despite only wanting to be around her coworkers in the tavern, she felt that she wouldn't mind being around Jaune.

Bell turned and smiled at her.

"Oh Jaune is alright, he is reforging his weapon, saying that new materials to make the blade stronger, said he won't be back for a few days. That was yesterday at that." Bell said to her.

"Oh that's good, I'm glad he's ok." Ryuu said to him, if Bell looked really close on her, he could probably see a faint smile on her face. "It's really strange, I know Syr would be upset if you got hurt, but she would be upset if Jaune had gotten hurt as well." Ryuu said to him.

'I would be upset too.' Ryuu thought to herself, secretly feeling a tad worried. She would be sad losing someone like him, whom she felt like a kindred spirit with.

Bell looked on slightly confused at first at that, but shook it off. Syr cared for him and Jaune, they were her friends, well at least that's how Bell sees it.

"I should really be going Mr. Cranel, have a good night and be safe." Ryuu said walking away from him. Bell then bowed in gratitude.

"Thank you so much Ms. Ryuu and you have a goodnight too." Bell said to her. He then walked home without any other issue.

It was the next day and Jaune still wasn't back yet, Hestia was sleeping comfortably in her new bead, and Bell had an amazing night sleep, and grabbed some bread and cut some salami and had a quick breakfast.

He brushed his teeth, and put on his new armor. It felt amazing, it was light weight, and offered good protection for him. He even put on the vambrace that Eina has given him just to be safe.

He made sure his boots were put on properly before heading out.

"I will see you later goddess." Bell said to the still asleep Hestia.

"Ok Bell, I will see you later." Hestia said still sleepy, and falling back to sleep. Bell simply laughed to himself slightly. He grabbed everything he needed so far and went onward to the dungeon.

It was early morning and seemed foggy this morning. As Bell looked around he started to really see other people with giant back packs on them. He really thought about getting a supporter.

"A supporter huh, I should really find one huh?" Bell asked himself. His thoughts were interrupted with a voice behind him.

"Hey, excuse me mister?" The voice called out, Bell perked up, making sure it was him being called out. "Yes you with the white hair." The voice called out again. Yep it was definitely towards him. The voice was coming from behind him, he turned and looked down seeing a short girl with a big back pack on her. Bell couldn't help but feel he seen her already.

"If you would please hear me out sir, sorry to bother you, wouldn't you have to be in the market for a supporter?" The girl advertised herself toward Bell, now that Bell had time to look at her, he does recognize her!

"Oh hey, you're the girl from last night." Bell pointed out. This cause the girl to pause.

"Uh what, sorry I think you got someone mistaken with me. I'm just a poor lonely supporter offering her services to an adventurer who doesn't have a partner." The girl said to him.

Bell leaned down to get to her eye level, while smiling at her.

"Yeah, well I get that you are, but you're the Pallum I met yesterday right, being chased by that guy, your not hurt are you?" Bell asked her. This almost broke the girls skillful fake mask she put up for herself.

"Oh, I'm not a Pallum." The girl said to Bell, she reached up and took her hood off. "I'm a Chienthrope, it's like an animal person, to be specific a dog person." The girl said having her ears no exposed and wiggled due to being freed.

Bell curious brought his hand up and started massaging her ears somewhat.

"A Chienthrope huh, well what do you know." Bell said to himself majority. He has never seen one talk like this to him, instead of Naaza with the god Miach. But she is more like a sister towards him, from what he has seen.

And it reminded him of the faunus that Jaune told him about from his world. How some would have an extra set of ears, a tail, claws, fangs, etc. It was really interesting. The girl blushed and made a loud but soft noise.

"Mmmm~ please sir stop that's not appropriate here." The girl looked down, and shook a little from the massage. For animal people, those appendages can be really sensitive, and when they are caressed, they can be used in the more 'intimate' of times, so they can cause some things to happen if people aren't really careful where they touch, and how they touch.

Bell quickly retracted his hand, and feeling really apologetic.

"Oh, I am so sorry, I didn't mean any harm, you just really surprised me." Bell said to her. The girl smiled to herself.

Bell and the girl were sitting by the fountain near the entrance of the dungeon, talking about their future.

"So your name is Liliruca Arde, did I say it right, and why did you ask me to be a supporter for me?" Bell asked the now named Liliruca. Said girl nodded yes.

"You said it right, but please just call me Lili, for short." Lili said to Bell. Bell just nodded at that in agreement.

"And to answer your question, it seemed to me that you were all by yourself, you're an adventurer right, you have a back pack yourself, so I put two and two together, and assumed you know?" Lili said to him. Bell hummed in agreement, and understanding.

"So have you decided for having me as your supporter or what?" Lili asked him. Bell sat in thought for a little bit.

'I didn't want to make a big decision like this without Jaune around, I want his input on this too, this is a big decision for him too to have someone else with us. Maybe, I can do a temporary contract with her, for a little while, at least until Jaune gets back.' Bell thought to himself, putting his hand on his chin in thought.

Lili looked on patiently waiting seeing him think, she started to get antsy with the suspense. But that stopped when Bell started talking again.

"Well to be honest, I was thinking about getting a supporter, it sounds like a good idea." Bell said a little happily. Lili became really happy at that.

"Oh do you really think so?! Does this mean you will take me with you, please?!" Lili practically begged him, getting slightly closer to his face. But then she calmed down, and dawned a sad look.

"You see I don't have a lot of money, and I didn't know what I would have done any longer." Lili said a little sadly. "Besides, you owe a little, due to you touching a special spot on me, and you didn't get my permission to touch me." Lili said a little slyly at first, but went into a shy tone in the end.

Bell just sat there a little uncomfortable with what he did, and he internally agreed with her on that.

"You need to take responsibility, for such behavior, and actions against me don't you not." Lili said to him, still speaking in a shy tone, but with an edge slyness to it. Bell just turned completely red at that. Lili just sat there rubbing her ears, giggling to herself knowing that she's got him now.

"Y-you got a point there." Bell relented. "I guess I will hire you, but just for today ok? I want to see how you do, because I do have another familia mate, who is busy for another few days so he won't be able to go in the dungeon. I want you to meet him as well, and see what he says. So depending how things go today, I will continue to have you on." Bell said to her.

This caused Lili to perk up. He has another familia mate that he is close to. That could be trouble for her, but he did agree to keep her around at least until he gets back. So she will work harder and earn more valis than she possibly could right now.

"I promise you won't regret this, I will do my best." Lili said to him enthusiastically.

They were now in the dungeon. They vetured past the 5th floor now fighting killer ants. Some were the size of a large dog, and had the crazy strength. Lili was calling out where they were coming from. From his blind spots, around the corners, and occasionally using a mini crossbow she has on her wrist to distract them, so Bell could take them down.

Bell brought his knife down into one of their heads killing it instantly. Right now he wasn't using newly acquired axe, he wanted to use it in the upper levels to get a better feel of it. He doesn't want to damage it, or make a fatal mistake in such lower levels, and he would feel more confident if he had Jaune with him to watch his back.

Not that Lili wasn't good enough, but like she said, she's not much of a fighter for being, "too weak", as she said to him. All she could do for now was call out targets, distract them, and move away quickly if she had to.

Bell quickly did a horizontal slash to another ant decapitating it completely. Another ant quickly came, Bell couldn't swing again in time, so he put up his arm with the vambrace on it, and let the ant's claw scratch it, even though their seemed to be no scratch mark on it.

Bell then pushed the claw away, and plunged his knife once again into its head killing it.

Lili looked on honestly impressed with this level 1. What surprised her was how careful he was being and not rushing in to kill as many as he could, without caring for his own body. But instead, he used his head, heard her advise and actually listened to her when it came to fighting, and watching out for monsters. He didn't yell at her, he didn't blame her for any injuries, he may or may not have gotten.

Instead, he actually thanked her for her service. That was so surprising for her. Every adventurer never thanked her, or even treated her fairly. It was refreshing, but she quickly shook that off. It was probably just a trick. Yeah that's all it was, leading her on, waiting to take advantage of her, so for now, she will play it out, and betray him, before he could betray her.

Before anything else happened, another ant burst through the wall coming near her, and she cried out to him for help. Bell quickly ran toward her, he felt that his knife wouldn't be fast enough and that she would still get hurt.

So he broke his promise to use the axe on the upper levels, and took the axe off his back with his left hand brought it over his head, and brought it down vertically on the ant. The ant's carapace cracked on it's head, and it's spine was out. It was paralyzed not able to do anything.

Bell looked at his axe in thought.

'I need to work on swinging this better, I know it's been a while since chopping firewood, but this is different. And I only cracked it's head, maybe I need to sharpen it more, and work on using it one handed.' Bell thought to himself using it in combat for the first time.

One of the few things Bell told Jaune and Hestia about is he is able to use both hands equally as the other. And Jaune said he was androdiecious. He got confused at that word at the time, and Hestia was even confused somewhat of that word. But cleared it up saying, "it means he is able to both hands as the dominant hand. I am right handed, so I am not too good with left. For example I can't write my name well with my left hand, but I can with my right, like I am able to swing my sword better with my right rather than my left." That was what Jaune told them. They grew to have sparkles in their eyes, hearing what that word meant, and it sounded fancy, they loved it!

"Wow that was amazing Master Bell!" Lili clapped a little seeing how he fought off the monsters. It was somewhat exaggerated with this, because she seen some level 1s take them out faster, but she did give him some credit, especially since he had taken her advice. Bell turned around smiling happily at her.

He wiped his brow, relaxing now that the fight was over, but still kept his knife in hand, to make sure no one else was coming.

"It's good to see your ok Lili, glad your not hurt, and it's great to have you here with me. Me and Jaune usually were able to concentrate more on fighting, with both of us here we are able to work just as effectively as now." Bell said to Lili that cause Lili to become intrigued with that. The adventurers she seen were always trying to one up each other, getting all the magic stones, getting all the glory, never looking out for each other.

And, she couldn't put her finger on it, the name Jaune sounded familiar to her, where did she hear that name before, she couldn't remember but that didn't matter right now. Right now she is just thinking of way to get rich quickly, and she will start with his knife.

"I say you did really well by yourself, you took down those monsters alone was way more impressive than you think, much more than I really did." Lili said to Bell, this caused Bell to blush a little rubbing the back of his head.

"Although, I assume that most of your strength and power comes from that blade then master Bell?" Lili asked intrigued. Bell looked at his blade in appreciation, and joy.

"Yeah you can say that again. Jaune told me not to depend on one weapon too much, or else I will become rigid when it comes to fighting. So that's why I have this axe, I'm trying to see if I can expand on using other weapons, and use this to soften up more sturdy monsters you know?" Bell said to Lili. All Lili did was smile at that, only thinking about the money she could make with that blade. But, she did pause briefly, thinking how much he wants to grow and be better. Never the less, she shook that thought off, and decided to rob Bell quickly and silently.

"So, where did you get a knife like that anyway? A blade like that has to be hard to obtain." Lili questioned Bell about his weapon.

"Oh my goddess gifted it to me, by the way do you have a familia Lili, I heard that some supporters don't really have a familia, and I am curious if you have one?" Bell questioned her. Lili was busy picking up any magic stones, and drops that had dropped, she was impressed by his luck so far.

"Yes I do, I am with the Soma familia." Lili said in a false joyful tone, Bell was none the wiser right now.

"Oh ok, that's pretty cool, I don't know too much about the Soma familia, what are they like?" Bell questioned. Lili froze a little, desperate to not talk about her hell hole of a familia, so she changed the subject of the still alive monster, that in all honesty she even forgot about.

"Hey master Bell, that monster is still alive, and the magic stone hasn't fallen out yet. The stone shouldn't be too deep inside due to the blow you gave it, I will pick up anything that was fallen." Lili pointed out to Bell, she brought out a knife to carve monsters. "Want to call it a day after you do that?" Lili asked giving him the knife. Bell took the knife and gave it some thought, should he call it day, he forget how long they were down here for, but he assumes that, it was late, so he made a compromise.

"Ok sure, but as we are heading up, if we see any monsters that are close enough to us, let's take them out, we could get more valis, not much but anything is better than nothing right?" Bell said to Lili.

Lili herself, gave it a quick thought. Of course she chalked it up to an adventurer wanting to make more coin regardless of the danger. But that changed when Bell said if there are any too close to them. She agreed with his logic, and agreed with it.

"Sounds like a plan to me." Lili said to Bell. Bell went over to carve out the monster's magic stone.

"Wow it's much harder to cut than I thought." Bell said. His back was turned towards Lili. Said supporter was looking on with greed, and false smile at his knife. And without Bell's knowledge, she swiped it.

Back on the surface, Bell was giving the report to Eina, and mentioned that his supporter was from the Soma Familia. That caused Eina to be surprised and concerned with who the supporter is.

"Hmmm the Soma familia huh, they are more for exploration of the dungeon, and majority of their money is from selling and making lots of booze." Eina said to Bell. This caused Bell to look on in curiosity, and confusion. Eina looked down in sadness and sympathy.

"There is nothing wrong with that, but, the Soma Familia seems always so desperate just to make any shed valis they can. Like they are always in a panic, and some even look feral if they don't get enough valis." Eina said, still looking a little down trodden. But she shook it off to get back to Bell about his newest supporter.

"But enough about that, what do you think of Liliruca as your supporter? Did you two end up getting along?" Eina asked. This caused Bell to perk up, signaling that it was good.

"Oh yes we did, she was really nice" Bell said, then pulled up a hefty bag of magic stones. "We got a pretty good haul, me and Jaune would sometimes get this much, I could only imagine how much we would get if he was with me." Bell said to her. This caused Eina to raise an eyebrow, and Rose was nearby and approached the two.

"Speaking of which where is Mr. Arc, he didn't come by in a few days is he alright?" Eina asked a little worried. Rose didn't show it outward, but she was actually worried about him. Bell eased their worries instantly.

"Oh you don't have to worry about him he's alright, he's busy getting his weapon reforged, something about making it more durable, and powerful, even I don't know the whole details. He should be back either today, or the next few days hopefully." Bell said to them. They instantly relaxed, hearing that Jaune is ok. Rose turned her head hiding that she was actually smiling happily, and with relief.

"Oh thank goodness, I was worried there. He has a heart as strong as yours Bell, I would hate to see, or hear that he was hurt, or gone." Eina said to him, with Rose turning to them nodding. Bell just smiled at them for that. Hearing that Bell has a heart as strong as Jaune's, in his eyes was big praise. Knowing how Jaune's life was, and essentially he is a living legend, a hero who sacrificed it all, for all who he loves, and wishes to protect. And not only that, learning that he is from a different world all together is even more crazy.

With all that said Eina was getting back to the topic on Lili, and from what she heard from Bell, it was a good choice.

"And about Miss Liliruca, I don't see anything wrong with that, I want suggest anything else or otherwise then. Continue to do what you feel is best, just make sure to tell Jaune about this, it is your own decision after all. And you don't want to keep Jaune out of the loop." Eina said to Bell. He just smiled when at that.

"Oh don't worry I won't forget to tell him, that's one of the first things I want to tell him when he gets back." Bell said to her, he then looked up in thought out loud. "I wonder what he's doing right now though, and how far he is right now with his sword?" Bell said out loud in wonder, along with his advisor and Jaune's

Meanwhile

The sword was being shaped out like before it was melted down, and mixed with Mithril. As they waited for it to take its shape better, and move forward with it. Jaune was hammering at it with Hephaestus supervision, and eventually switched with Jaune. To pass the time, Jaune shared with her about his world.

How his world's moon is shattered and how no one knows why. How things are more automated. That made things funny when Jaune had to explain what that means, and how it works to the best of his ability.

Hephaestus was utterly stunned to hear how advanced his world was compared to their own. She did comment how, it could seem that people would grow lazy with such luxuries. And Jaune agreed for the most part, people do become lazy. But he also explained that outside of the kingdoms it is tough for a lot of people.

He explained the grimm more. And that made her pause, hearing about them sounded like the monsters, the her children sometimes face down in the dungeon. Now he explained it before, but not a lot.

She learned that a lot of them look like animals, ranging from, wolves, scorpions, bears, snakes. But what really intrigued her was the more "legendary" grimm as he would call it. Some that he heard could look like dragons. He also mentioned how the older a grimm gets the smarter they are, instead of moving on instinct, they were more thinking, and have more bone armor making them harder to kill.

He even talked about a nuckelavee. She's heard about those kind of monsters in her world, rare, but extremely dangerous. To hear that his world had a grimm version of that made her worry for them truly. And how they fought and took it down, avenging his friends, family and village.

He even told her that the alphas are the older grimm which again are smarter, and more dangerous, than the younger ones.

He even told her the story of how his team, team RNJR, fought what his world called them geist. He explained more that they are like ghosts. And before she voiced her concerns, about how they could kill a ghost without magic, he told her that, they can be killed fairly easily, since physically speaking they are the weakest, but they can posses things like rocks making them trickier to beat.

He explained how his team were able to take it down, and said his weapon and armor was getting it's upgrades at the time, so he couldn't fight properly, so he was more of bait, and the planner. His plan was hitting it harder, in the joint areas, and Ruby fired to kill the geist terrorizing the village.

But what got her really interested was dust. And it's implications.

"Wait-wait-wait, back up, your telling me this dust from your world could be used as propellent?" Hephaestus asked pausing her hammering briefly. Jaune laughed a little at this.

"Yeah, dust has different elements, from fire, water, ice, lightning, etc. The most rare that I know of, is gravity and what we call hardlight dust." Jaune said to her.

"Hard light dust allows things that light is shaped to become something solid. Imagine shaping ice, or my sword into something." Jaune said to her. That cleared up her question briefly, but was still curious.

"And what else does this dust do, and I'm guessing they use dust as propellent, from what I heard from the far east, a cannon?" Hephaestus asked continuing hammering.

"Well we probably do have cannons like that, somewhere, but we have something what we call guns, or firearms." Jaune said to her. This gave her pause again.

"Guns, or firearms are handheld weapons which we can shoot or fire from a distance, like a crossbow, but the propellent in dust we use varies, depending on what you want of course. But, dust is wrapped around some kind of metallic cylinder, small like a pin, depending how big you want it, and some other kind of metal is the projectile, and there is a primer, that ignites the dust that shoots the projectile forward. We call them bullets, the projectile I mean." Jaune said to her. He took a breath.

"From what I know is guns have been around for a while, it was great for fighting, hunting, and surviving against the grimm. If I had better examples I could show you." Jaune finished. Hephaestus stood there in complete shock.

Having such weapons with them could reshape war, the way they fight, and the way people can kill monsters. It felt way too easy for the most part, but weapons are just tools, those who don't know how to use their tools, are not going to be able to do anything with it properly. And guns or firearms, made it easier, and magic can do things guns can't, and arrows have their own strengths.

They kept going they were busy hammering away at his blade, shaping it back together.

Back with Bell.

As Bell came out of his thoughts he decided it was time to leave and cash in his stones.

"Well that's everything, see you later Miss Eina." Bell said turning away from her, Eina became confused and worried.

"Umm, Bell where is your knife, it's gone?!" Eina asked with shock and concern. She knows his knife was gift from his goddess and he truly treasures it. Bell check on his back where he normally keeps his knife at. He felt around growing even more increasingly worried.

Bell's face turned even paler, and scared, and ran out of the building.

"I lost my knife!" Bell yelled out to himself running back to retrace his steps.

Lili was busy at a gnome's shop, trying to sell it for as much as she can. The gnome was inspecting it to see how good the knife is, to say the least…he was disappointed.

"I can give your 30 valis for this." The gnome said to Lili. Lili was stumped at this. Bell used it to kill monsters, and cut them like they were butter, so how?!

"It's not very sharp, it won't cut anything, it is dull, I'm sorry it's a dead knife." The gnome said to her. Lili declined to sell it. She was going to find some place and toss it away. Lili walked grumbling to herself.

"Your kidding me?!" Lili muttered to herself frustrated. "This blade cut down all those monsters without it getting scratch on it, and he only offers me 30 valis?!" Lili yelled to herself. "That is ridiculous!" Lili finished her rant.

She perked up seeing the same elf woman, whom helped Bell yesterday, walking home with a silver haired woman with the both of them carrying groceries. She put her head down more, not wanting to be spotted, and tried her best to hide the knife. She briefly walked passed them, Lili was mentally cheering herself, but stopped when she was called out to.

"Wait a second, you little girl with the hood up." Said Ryuu, pausing her walk. "Let me see that knife your hiding in your sleeve there." Ryuu some what demanded, reaching for a coin in her hand. Syr looked on confused.

"Um Ryuu-"

"I want to see if that knife belongs to someone I know, who lost theirs." Ryuu said to her. She heard about Bell going around to look for his knife, poor guy was desperate. And Ryuu said to herself that she will keep a look out, despite only meeting him and Jaune a few times, she feels like that she is starting to like those two. But Jaune, really interested her, she can feel it. Lili meanwhile gripped the knife, scared to what will happen now.

"U-um, y-you must be mistaken." Lili stuttered a little in panic. "This knife, is mine. I'm sorry, but, I can't help you with your situation." Lili finished.

Ryuu got ready to spring into action, that's all the confirmation she needed.

"Give it to me now. I only know one knife that's covered in markings like that." Ryuu held up a valis to her. Lili's eyes widened, she could feel the blood lust coming off of her, she had to run!

"And it's not yours!" Ryuu, turned sideways and flinging a coin at Lili's hand hitting it, making her drop the knife. When that happened Lili, started to run for her life. She knows if she is caught, she is done for.

Bell was around the corner, catching his breath. He was running all around the places he's been before he got to guild looking for his knife, but no luck. He looked on frustrated with himself, while wiping off the sweat.

"Where did I-" Bell couldn't finish his sentence, since Lili ran into him, and they both fell on the ground. Bell rubbed his head in slight pain, wondering what happened, and he looked down to see Lili.

"Lili, what are you?" Bell asked confused. And Lili looked on in slight confusion herself.

"Master Bell?" Lili questioned.

Coming out of the ally Ryuu slid to a stop catching up to Lili. She seen that her and Bell were on the ground. What confused her was Lili, she thought that she was a Pallum, but she seemed to be a Chienthrope.

"A Chienthrope?" Ryuu questioned to herself. Bell looked up surprised to see her.

"Ms. Ryuu?" Bell questioned, running up behind Ryuu was Syr. "And you too Ms. Syr? Oh hey did you two ever come across knife at all?! It's jet black completely, with markings on it! It's really, really important to me please!" Bell asked almost desperately. The two girls looked at each other seeing how desperate and somewhat frantic Bell was being, and that the fact they did find it. Ryuu held up said knife.

"Is this it?" She questioned. Bell stood shock that he found it ok.

"That's it my knife." Bell said lowly, he started to tear up with happiness and gratitude. He leapt toward Ryuu holding her hand. Forgetting all about the elves way of not liking to be touched by other races.

"Oh thank you so much Ms. Ryuu, your best don't let anyone else say otherwise!" Bell said, while rubbing her hand a little. Syr looked on in shock, but inward it was jealousy too. Ryuu looked away a little bashful of the interaction. And her elven heritage coming to the surface of not letting others touch them, but she was able to fight it down. She only allows a very few people touch her, but right now she will make an exception right now.

But that didn't mean she was still uncomfortable about this, she had to end this now!

"Mr. Cranel, please stop that, I understand your excited, why don't you hold Syr's hand instead." Ryuu said. Her elven heritage starting to boil over.

"Ryuu w-what are you saying?!" Syr yelled out stuttering. Bell then let go, remembering how the elves felt about being touched. Ryuu held his knife out to him.

"Here, take your knife." Ryuu said to him. Bell grabbed it joyfully.

"Oh thank the gods!" Bell thanked them. Every god in Orario felt the thanks and just chalked it up to their children, and either smiled, smirked, or shrugged it off.

When Bell held the knife, the dullness vanished, and became sharp as ever. The knife's markings even glowed briefly. Lili saw that, and gasped at that. What did she just see just now?! That knife was said to be dull and dead, but now it looks like it could cut through everything, and what was that glow?! Was it secretly a magic knife?! Those were some of the thoughts going through Lili's head.

Bell looked at his knife and admiration.

"Please forgive me goddess, I swear to never lose or drop my knife ever again." Bell gave a short prayer. Ryuu looked on skeptically, if he dropped it, why did that Chienthrope have it? Probably to sell it. She seen Bell with it yesterday and refused to believe that some random person would have that kind of knife on hand. And Bell is a nice boy, she doesn't want to see him sad, or else Syr will be sad.

"You dropped it?" Ryuu questioned. Bell looked over and nodded.

"Yeah, I did, where did you find it anyway?" Bell asked. Meanwhile Lili was just sitting there not moving, not want to make anything else worse. Ryuu gave a quick thought. Doing a quick glance at Lili. She doesn't know the relationship between these two but she will not pry too much. It's not her business, and she will let Bell handle his own. He will need to stand on his own two feet more. So, for now she will throw Lili a bone.

"Well you see, I took it from a Pallum saying that she found it." Ryuu said, not giving up Lili. But Lili looked down sad, and scared with the implication, she didn't want to be exposed by her. But in truth Lili felt guilty in truth, Bell had been nothing but kind to her, and hear she was stealing from him because he was an adventurer. And the fact, the elf decided to have mercy on her, and not tell him, it was her that had the knife.

"A Pallum, really huh?" Bell said. Lili stood up not looking at them, just standing there.

"We have to be going Mr. Cranel, please take care." Ryuu said to him about to take their leave.

"Oh ok, I will see you all later, and thank you so much again." Bell said to them. As they were leaving Syr walked up to Lili, and talked softly in her ear.

"You shouldn't be such a troublesome little girl ok?" Syr said her. Lili grew to have shocked eyes. Surprised that she was in the clear. And the fact that she essentially got scolded, instead of beaten. Bell watched them walk away. Bell just let out a sigh of relief, it was a troublesome time.

"Oh man, I'm so glad that's over." Bell said to himself sighing. He looked over to Lili smiling.

"Wow talk about great timing, I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to find you Lili." Bell said to her. This caused the down trodden Lili to perk up.

He wanted to find her?! For what, revenge, or cheating him out of the magic stones, and a few drops they got?

"Lili I was wondering, would you like to go back to the dungeon with me tomorrow, I would really love it. And Jaune should be done soon with his sword, he could come to and talk about having you on permanently as a supporter if you want?" Bell said to her still smiling.

She looked back in some shock. This adventurer wants her service again?! This was unheard of for her. But she wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth. She agreed.

The next day came about. Jaune and Hephaestus were finishing up Crocea Mors, all they needed to do is quench it, and to make sure it is sharpened enough. Even though it will be enchanted, it will still need an edge. Jaune grabbed his big tongs and put it in the oil. He pulled it out to see if it was straight as an arrow, with Hephaestus next to him. It still retained its original shape before it was reforged., just ever so slight thicker, due to adding the extra metal of Mithril.

Hephaestus looked at it with a critical eye, after she looked it over. She smiled at him.

"She's ready to be cleaned and to put your handle back on." Hephaestus said to him. Jaune looked on with a wide smile, glad that this is almost over, and nodded at her. It was almost a week since they started. He misses Hestia and Bell. Sure he can see her when she's working but he was so focused, and she wanted him to focus on the task at hand, so he can get out there.

As they went to clean his blade, she was making sure the same markings as Bell were on his blade. When they were waiting for his sword to be done, she put markings on his shield. The shield didn't need to be reforged, it was powerful enough. But to be safe, she put the markings in the shield, she didn't want him to lose his shield anytime soon. And with him able to combine his sword, she wants that to work better too. So the power will flow even better through both his weapons.

When the sword was cleaned, he marveled at it's beauty. It still had some silver color going down the middle due to it's original metal included. But the rest of his blade was jet black and he could see the markings almost all over it. After 30 minutes making sure his handle, pummel, and guard was on correctly. They were finally done, Jaune noticed that handle was now more dark blue, navy blue even. Making sure that the colors blend nicely together. The bronze color stands out a little, but he insisted to keep it, to show that Pyrrha is still fighting with him.

With all of that it was truly finished, all they need is Hestia. Hephaestus sent someone to fetch Hestia for her. After five mins of waiting, Hestia came in her work uniform. She looked slightly nervous, just to make sure she wasn't in trouble.

"Y-you needed me Hephaestus?" Hestia stuttered a little. Hephaestus stood by her desk, with Jaune no where in sight. Hephaestus then looked up to Hestia, giving a serious look, that caused Hestia to gulp.

"Follow me Hestia." Hephaestus told her, and she gestured her to follow her into the forge. When she entered she seen Jaune sitting down sweating a little with his armor hoody and shirt off he was bare chested right now. She and Hephaestus blushed a little at this. Hephaestus seen him, and others before, but she will be lying if she didn't like to look from time to time. The same goes for Hestia, she is in love with Bell, but that doesn't mean that she won't like to look at Jaune.

He looked up to Hestia giving a tired smile.

"It is finished…..Hestia." Jaune said a little tired. He was able to sleep for a few hours each day somewhat, but he needed a good rest.

Hestia stood frozen slightly, but her eyes started to sparkle in joy, she knew what she had to do now. She looked at her friend giving her a smile, and gestured her over towards the table seeing his sword done in all it's glory. Hestia will admit it is beautiful, the sword and shield together. Hephaestus got in position. With Hestia placing her finger on the tip of Crocea Mors. A soft blue light traveled through the blade, and the hieroglyphs started to glow. She did the same to his shield, and the glowing eventually stopped.

Hephaestus looked up to her, and smiled, and said three simple words to her and Jaune.

"It is done." Hephaestus said to them. This time Hestia gained her joyful sparkle and started to jump in joy, and hugged Jaune.

"Hooray, your sword is finally done Jaune, I am so proud of you!" Hestia complimented and celebrated with him. Jaune looked in with pride and accomplishment. A goddess taught him how to do basic forging, and helped re-forge his blade. He is so grateful to her.

He looked up with a happy tears. And approached Hephaestus, putting his shirt back on. And in surprise, he hugged her gratefully. Hephaestus was stunned at the sudden hug, but Hestia was less so, she would have done the same thing. He tightened it a little.

"Thank you, thank you so much Lady Hephaestus. For doing so much for me, and I promise to make it up to you some way." Jaune said to her. Crying a little bit. Hephaestus just smiled at him, and a little lovingly. She brought back the hug a little, and did something Hestia never seen her best friend do, well in front of her.

She gave Jaune a brief kiss on the cheek that lasted a few seconds. Jaune and Hestia stood wide eyed, both blushing up a storm, with Hephaestus blushing herself.

"You sharing your technology, and your stories, was really something. And to help forge something for a hero, really helps." Hephaestus said looking a little….bashful. Jaune just nodded dumbly. It was crazy to have a goddess praise you, but to kiss you, it was outlandish, almost impossible even. But Hephaestus wasn't done yet.

"You know Jaune I've been thinking, about your royalties. I will change it, to be you shared your technology from your land. And you allowed me to share it. And, you will have the protection of my familia, if they try to threaten you with giving them your technology. I will support you Jaune, and Hestia." Hephaestus said to them.

This caused Hestia to drop her jaw to the floor essentially. She has never seen a goddess so, charitable like this. Especially Hephaestus! But, she guesses since she was given revolutionary technology, and knowledge, that would suffice. But to see her blushing up a storm, is even more crazy!

Jaune was just flabbergasted at that. Those terms were great, and getting protection if someone tried to take his sword and shield by force! Oh yes!

He looked to Hestia with confirmation, she looked at him, still mouth agape, but her eyes were happy at that offer, she nodded. Jaune looked back to Hephaestus, and nodded yes.

"I accept that offer, when would you want to make this official?" Jaune said to her. Much to Hephaestus' delight.

"Great, say after I am able to make your spear, so try to keep your shield a secret for now ok?" Hephaestus said to him. This was ok, he and Bell, barely interacted with other adventurers due to the adventurers seeing them as useless. But looks can be deceiving.

"I will have the guild make the proper contracts, so no one can illegally make it, without your permission, and that you contracted with us." Hephaestus said giving him reassurance. He sighed with relief.

"That will work out fine Lady Hephaestus, thank you so much again." Jaune said to her. Jaune gave her another hug, not as hard a before, but with great feeling. One she returned. When they broke the hug she allowed them to leave. Telling Jaune to rest, and for Hestia to get back to work. This caused Hestia to deflate, she wanted to celebrate with Jaune and Bell about this, but oh well she guesses.

When Jaune put everything on, and his sword at his hip, he gave Hephaestus one final goodbye. But Hephaestus stopped him before he left.

"Hey Jaune when you leave, go by Tsubaki, she has something for ya. And, when were are in private, please just call me Hephaestus, I don't really mind." Hephaestus said to him smiling friendly to him. Jaune blushed again at this, but smiled at this. He gained the friendship of another goddess, first Hestia now her. It was awesome! Jaune just nodded, and smiled at her.

"You got it, Hephaestus! See you later." Jaune said to her, as he walked away.

Hephaestus waved to him, and sat down at her desk. Going over some paper work. But she couldn't help to feel a little lonely right now. Many in her familia would laugh and mingle with her. But, Jaune was able to treat her differently. It was like with Welf Crozzo, she respected him to now end, and she knows about his feeling for her, and she loved that. She is on the fence on letting their relationship grow more. Jaune was almost like that. She got to know him in a week and that week was all that she needed.

She sees him as a good friend now. A hero thrown out of his world, and into this one, it was crazy. Yet he trusted her with this truth, and she will not slander that trust, and friendship she made with him. Working together was nice, and she was already brainstorming how to make his spear. The blade is good, and the spear will shaft will be thicker than a regular one, but it will work, she have to see how short she can make the spear collapse, and be used properly. As time went on she can upgrade the weapons, by getting a better understanding of them, and experimenting.

Well no time like the present, she will continue to brainstorm. She has been for almost a week now, but she will be able to work more smoothly now, since she is not forging anything right now at the moment, she can start with the basics on how to make a weapon move, so she will start with a knife.

As Jaune left out, and went down from the tower to meet up Tsubaki like Hephaestus told him to do. He kept thinking how well his sword, and shield's upgrade will go, he was eager to fight but, he was sleepy, and wanted to go to sleep. When he made it to the ground floor, he made his way over to the Hephaestus members forges. When he got there he seen Tsubaki hammering away. He walked up to her to get her attention.

"Hey Tsubaki, Hephaestus told me to see you before I left." Jaune said to her, Tsubaki stopped hammering, and looked up to him, and smiled wide at him.

"Ahhh, the guy finally comes down from the tower. I can see your weapon is ready, let me see it." Tsubaki told him. Jaune unsheathed his sword, and Tsubaki was looking at it critically.

"*Whistles* This blade was great before, it is even better now. You did a good job with re-forging it, and you followed Lady Hephaestus' teachings, even I am envious, you worked hard for almost a week, you did great, because this blade, is a master piece, weird that the blade isn't that sharp, but I can only assume you will try to sharpen yourself, without any help right?" Tsubaki said to him.

Jaune mentally kicked himself for letting someone else seeing his sword. The kind of weapons that Bell and Jaune have are not meant to be overly seen by other people. Unless with those they truly trust. But he played along with her last statement.

"Yeah, I am going to do that, if I'm not doing right, I will come back to you for advice on how to do it better, if that's ok with you right?" Jaune asked her in the end. She nodded yes. She reached for something on the other side of her work. It was another scabbard, all black.

"For some reason Hephaestus wanted me to make this for you, saying that more than one scabbard can help you, especially when I saw that shield of yours." Tsubaki said to him. Jaune nodded and grabbed it with great thanks.

"Thank you so much Tsubaki, truly, and I will be back when I get more money, to fully complete my armor even further, thank you so much again." Jaune said. He put the scabbard on his back, so he could draw it from there. Before Tsubaki could say anything he surprised her by giving her a grateful hug. Tsubaki just smiled at him, and returned the hug slightly.

"Your welcome kid." Tsubaki said gently. She looked around to see people looking at them in shock and jealously. She grew a teasing smirk. She push Jaune back a little thinking that it was time to go, but he seen a devious smirk on her. He knows that kind of smirk anywhere, from Yang, his sisters sometime, and Nora!

She pushed Jaune into her breasts!

"I think you should stop kid, everyone is watching, you don't want to make them jealous~!" Tsubaki said it flirting slightly, and teasing him and everyone around. Everyone grew to have jealous looks, and tears coming down their eyes, silently screaming vengeance.

Jaune just grew to have a super red face, and pushed away. Tsubaki just started laughing.

"Hahahaha, your way too easy kid, that was thanks from me. For having Lady Hephaestus have a spark in her. It's been awhile since she was so focused, and passionate about a project. Sure she had passion, but this really made her joyful, and serious, she even put aside other on coming requests, just for you. Whatever you did for her, or shown her, really made her happy and excited, so thank you…..Jaune Arc." Tsubaki said truthfully and gratefully towards him. She gave a genuine smile to him.

Jaune just smiled at that, to give people hope, and fulfillment, that is something he wants to continue doing.

"Your welcome Tsubaki, and I was serious when I will come back for the full set of armor to complete my armor with ya." Jaune said to her, he turns around to prepare to go. "But if you need me, I am going home, I am going to sleep for a while, see you later!" Jaune said to her walking away.

Tsubaki just smiled and waved. She sat down to get back to work. Seeing that he will be around more, and that he is the one who lit a fire under her goddess, but not just Hephaestus, but her herself. She heard about his speech, and how dedicated he is, she became more determined to be better for everyone, she seen it with her familia, and having him around more will continue to help. She can't wait to see how far he will go!

Jaune walked around for a little bit, enjoying the outside, but he felt himself getting tired more since he was technically relaxing for once in the past few days. All he did was power naps, but a good sleep will truly help.

So Jaune was walking back home, and decided to go down the normal ally way he usually goes down, to go home with. He was walking for a bit, almost half way home. He seen a person with a dark cloak on them. As he got closer he can see that it was a woman. But not just any woman.

He will say, she is the most beautiful one he has seen in a while. While every woman he saw lately are all gorgeous, there is just something up with her. He can't quite place his finger on it. She was walking up to him. This caused Jaune to pause, to see if she needed anything, or just in case if she wants to hurt him.

"Excuse me, your Jaune Arc are you not?" The woman asked him. Jaune was surprised that someone knew him by name. He's not really famous as of yet, and some people don't even know that he was the one who made the speech. But he guessed she is one of the ones who knows what he looks like. He does go around helping out some people with basic things.

Carrying goods, fixing some carts, heck he can even repair basic pipes, thank his parents for that, so word probably spread. So Jaune decided to indulge her.

"Yes ma'am that's me." Jaune said to her, she came closer to him, and he could see her beautiful purple eyes, almost like Yangs, but these seem a little darker, and he could see that she has some kind of silver like hair.

She got a little close to him, looking up to his eyes, almost staring into his soul. And he she spoke.

"Would come with me, I would love if you would." The woman spoke to him, her voice smooth as honey, but with a little bit of lust in it. But what was weird was her eyes started to glow?

Jaune felt like he wanted to come with her, and felt that he would do whatever she wanted just briefly, but his body glowed a bit, and felt strange, like something was controlling him before that.

The woman gained a slight surprised look in her eyes!

Jaune shook it off, and felt that he needed to leave, he was probably more tired than he thought.

"Oh uh, s-sorry ma'am I can't right now, I am very tired, haven't had any good sleep in almost a week, my first time getting a good rest, but please stay safe, if you need help with something, I will try my best." Jaune said to her. Started walking away. He put a hand on his head, confused about what happened, it felt like that, he would do whatever she would ask of him.

'That was so weird.' Jaune thought to himself.

The woman just stood there, now eyes widen in shock. A mortal was able to resist….her charm. It was that barrier around him. Not just that, it felt that even though barrier was down, it would still protect him! She was frustrated, but at the same time very intrigued. First Bell Cranel, and now Jaune Arc. One with a clear pure soul, and one who can resist her charms.

Freya was….excited, and started to actually drip wet at that. They were challenges, and she will see them grow stronger, and she will allow it happen, or die trying!

Thank you all so much for waiting. This is my longest chapter I have ever made on a story. I was originally going to add the grimoire spot, but I decided for next chapter to use. I am trying to figure out the inner monologue, for Jaune to learn magic. I know what kind of magic he will use, and I am going to add a new skill for him, when he levels up.

But I will ask all of you, for your help with something.

What nickname do you think Jaune should get upon his level up?

And yes, I made aura users can resist certain charms sometimes. But, I am making it like this, the more aura you possess, the higher chance to resist, and cancel out charms. Since Jaune has a lot of aura, and his semblance helps him out with that, he can resist Freya

I am thinking of how I am going to make Jaune's spear. Having Pyrrha's colors, but maybe make it look like Kratos' Draupnir Spear, from God of War. But probably have it collapse into something like how a Iklwa Spear. Still works like a sword if you need it to.
