The Gang walked up the hill, until they arrived at the door of the castle.
"Well, we made it to the castle but like, how are we going to get it open?" Shaggy asked.
Fred walked up to the door and knocked on it trying to be polite. "I guess, nobody's home," He mentioned walking down the hill.
"Where are you going, Freddie?" Daphne wondered.
"To find shelter. It's raining, and I'm freezing, so I'm getting out of the rain," Fred answered.
"Hey Scoob, walk up to the door a sec," Louis requested.
"Rokay, anything for you, Rouis," Scooby replied.
Scooby walked up to the door as Louis requested. Louis put his hand on the door and pushed it open.
"Hey, Guys, looks like we didn't even need to knock, even though usually I'd rather," Louis warned.
"What, that's strange," Fred responded walking back up the hill and into the castle.
"Like, we better head in, right ladies?" Shaggy said.
"Yes, where Fred goes, I go, besides heisour leader," Daphne retorted running up the hill after Fred.
"She's right, Shag, this isn't rocket science," Velma added as she followed the other two up the hill.
Scooby walked into the Spooky Mansion hesitantly trying to make sure the area was secure before he put down Louis.
Once the rest of the gang was inside Fred closed the doors behind them.
"Okay, we're safe. We should all unpack our stuff, and get out of the wet clothes," Louis informed.
"Alright, Gang, the lights are on. Everyone should go, ahead, and get into some dry clothes," Fred ordered.
"That is what I just said, but okay," Louis commented.
The Gang headed up the stairs and then took a right, where they found a hallway with three rooms.
"Wow, what were the odds there were three rooms? Perfect for us," Fred mentioned.
"Very slim, given that this is a mansion, there really should be more bedrooms than just three," Velma added.
"Me and Daph will take this one, Shaggy and Velma could take that one, and Scooby and Louis could take that one," Fred ordered.
"Why can't I be with Scooby? He's with him, all the time, anyway," Shaggy questioned.
"That's okay, Shag. You and Scoob could share if you want to. You're all equal to me, no one is better," Louis offered up.
"Nah, keep it, the way I had it, besides, what's wrong with Velma?" Fred disagreed.
Scooby put his arm around Louis, and led him to their room.
Louis mouthed sorry to Shaggy as he and Scooby left.
Shaggy rolled his eyes and walked into his and Velma's room.
"Freddie, Are we really going to stay here for a month?" Daphne questioned curiously as she looked around.
"Of Course, unless you're losing to the dare, already? Honestly, I thought, you had more fighting spirit in you, than that. But hey, that's just me," Fred replied nonchalantly.
"What! No, of course not, I was just asking. You know, just in case, you are going to back down," Daphne answered.
"Obviously not, you know me, better than that. I never back down," Fred stated.
"So what was with all the, 'Why can't I be with Scooby' thing?" Velma asked.
"Nothing, I don't know what came over me. Why don't we, like, change, like we were supposed to?" Shaggy suggested.
"You're right, I'll change in the bathroom," Velma responded as she took her clothes, and left to enter the bathroom.
"So, Scoob, I'm just wondering if I'm doing anything wrong ,am I?" Louis mentioned.
"Ruh, Uh," Scooby said.
"I guess. I just feel like I'm doing something wrong. I probably should drop this, and get changed, huh?" Louis replied.
"Probably," Scooby agreed.
"I figured, but I'm gonna need help getting my clothes off and on. Could you help?" Louis wondered.
"Of Course, ranything for you, Rouis," Scooby answered.
Louis took off his shirt, folded it neatly, and gave it to Scooby.
"All rone, all you need ris a rirt," Scooby announced.
"Yep, I should have one in my suitcase," Louis informed.
"Wait, ri haven't reen rat, before," Scooby stated noticing a little scar on Louis's chest.
"Oh, this it's nothing. It's just something, I got from the car crash. You know, the car crash that changed my life," Louis responded.
"How rid you ret it?" Scooby asked in curiosity.
"Oh, well," Louis stuttered struggling to talk about it.
"Ri mean, if rit's rokay with you," Scooby mentioned.
"It's okay, I had to tell someone about this eventually. It was March 15th, Mom had suggested we had a family outing, since had been weeks since our last one. So we all decided to go to the mall, just me, my Sister, and my Mom and Dad. The day was fine, until we stopped at a light. Once that light turned green,... well,... it went downhill from there a truck going about 60 miles an hour, it hit us. That truck hit us, right onto the train tracks where a train was coming. Once the train hit us. I blacked out. When I woke up, my legs were trapped underneath the car. I had to force them out from underneath the car, and it was extremely painful. I crawled on my stomach to my parents and sisters side, and they were gone, there was blood covering their bodies. I was always taught, what to do in an emergency, but their phones were too busted. So I decided to crawl over the train tracks to find help myself, and I ended up getting a loose piece of the track stuck in my chest. After that, I blacked out, once again, and I woke up in that hospital where I met you. I'll never forget how lifeless they looked in that car. I guess, that's why I depend on you so much, you kind of take care of me like a friend and like a brother," Louis explained.
"Raw, here is your rirt," Scooby notified.
"Thanks, now let's join the others, downstairs. Oh! And I might need help getting off this bed," Louis suggested.
Scooby picked up Louis putting him on his back as they headed out of their room and headed downstairs.
Louis and Scooby walked into the kitchen where they saw Daphne cooking dinner.
"It smells good, in here, Daphne," Louis mentioned.
"Thanks, you two. You're still shivering, Louis, are you cold?" Daphne answered.
"Oh, yeah, I'm still k-kinda c-cold," Louis replied.
"Scooby, why don't you warm him up?" Daphne suggested.
"Way ahead of you," Scooby responded putting his arms around Louis, and walking out of the kitchen.
Fred passed by Louis and Scooby, and entered into the kitchen.
"Mmm, smells good, Daph, What're you making?" Fred complemented with a smile as always.
"Thanks, Fred, but you'll just have to find out when it's served. It's something special," Daphne warned smirking at Fred from the corner of her eye.
"Aw, Can't I just have one peek?" Fred wondered playfully trying to peek.
"Nope, you'll just have to wait, Jones," Daphne informed.
"Aw, man, I guess, I'll head to explore the place, maybe we might find a mystery here," Fred answered walking out.
"Good idea, keep your nosy mind off of dinner," Daphne giggled.
Meanwhile, Scooby was walking through the halls of the mansion looking around curiously. Coincidentally, Velma was roaming the very same hall, too wandering around.
Velma saw Scooby there looking around, as well, and instantly covered her face going back the way she came attempting to avoid being near him. After that kiss the night before she wanted to avoid him like the plague.
Scooby stopped looking around, and saw Velma walking away.
"Relma!" Scooby shouted addressing her presence.
"Oh, Scooby. Hey, I thought, you would have been with Louis, since last time I saw you, you were warming him up," Velma explained uncovering her face acting as if she wasn't hiding from him.
"Re's in the ribrawy. Re wanted ro wead. What are you roing, rover here?" Scooby replied.
"Just exploring," Velma responded trying not to act weird.
"Ro am I," Scooby announced excitedly.
"Cool, anyway, See ya, bye!" Velma said freaking out and leaving.
Scooby just stood there with a confused look on his face.
Meanwhile, Louis was sitting in a wheelchair he'd found in the library, with his hands full of books.
"Alright, these are all the books in this place, now let's start with the first one, 'The History Of The Cursed Mansion'. Cursed? Eek! It sounds creepy, or how Scooby would put it, it would be reepy," Louis explained chuckling to himself.
Louis opened the book, and began reading the book, out of curiosity.
"Hm, the Mansion used to belong to 'The Anderson Family', there were four members of the family, they all fought amongst each other, all the time each had a negative emotion. The first was, Connor Anderson, the father of the family, his negative emotion, was Anger. Then there was Sophia Anderson, the mother and hernegative emotion was Jealousy. Next was Max the son, hisnegative emotion was depression, and the final one was Emma, hernegative emotion was hatred. One Day during the family's bickering, one by one, they disappeared, none would notice, because they were too busy fighting, until there was no one left to argue. No one knows exactly what conspired that night all they know was the family disappeared, all people knew was that the neighbors heard screams coming from the mansion that night. Yikes! Good thing, theyaren'thaunting this place," He read aloud then stated.
All of a sudden, He felt a cold breeze fly into the library, and everything began to freeze.
"Hello, Is anyone there? Fred?! Daphne?! Anyone?!!" He called in question.
Suddenly the chairs around the other tables began to move.
"Scooby, Is that you? This is a prank, right?" He mentioned beginning to worry.
Immediately after Louis said that, his wheelchair tipped over causing his body to collapse to the floor.
"Definitely not, Scooby," Louis commented realizing it wasn't his buddy, but something else.
The mysterious thing past by the bookshelves, and immediately the books began flying off the shelves on their own. The air got colder and colder to Louis, the more it got closer to him until they were practically face to face.
Louis felt its presence only inches in front of him, "Scooby!!!" Louis cried out tears flooding his eyes in fear.
Scooby instantaneously heard it, and headed to the library, as fast as he could.
When Scooby arrived at the scene he saw Louis on the floor dragging himself across the floor.
"What Rappened?" Scooby wondered getting down on his knees to pick Louis up.
"Something attacked me in the library. I think, it was a ghost, but it looked and feltsoreal!" Louis warned trying to shake the feeling of fear.
"A rost? Ron't worry, ri'll protect you," Scooby informed putting Louis on his back, and running to get the others.
Once they all arrived at the scene the library looked extremely clean as if nothing had happened.
"Are you sure you saw a ghost, Louis? Unless it's the ghost of a butler, I don't think it was a ghost," Velma added slightly chuckling after her comment.
"Yes, I'm sure. I'm positive!" Louis insisted.
"Reah, and ron't be mean," Scooby commanded.
"I don't know, Louis, I don't see any proof," Fred notified.
"Look, I know, it was here it almost took me," Louis said.
"Sorry, Louis, but we can't believe you, without proof," Daphne mentioned.
"That shouldn't matter? Shouldn't my word be enough?" Louis complained tears coming to his eyes.
"Come on, let's head to dinner," Fred suggested to Louis picking him up and leaving the library.
"Good job, Daph," Velma added.
"Woman of the Year!" Fred commented as everyone fled the scene, but Scooby.
Scooby thought for a second, and saw something near one of the tables. As he walked close to it, he discovered it was Louis's wheelchair, but it was tipped over on the ground with one of the armrests slightly bent, in that moment. Scooby knew he wasn't lying.
Of course, he already knew, he wasn't lying cause he never did, but now he had proof.
"Wait up, Ruys!!" Scooby demanded.
Daphne had dinner served, and they were almost all at the table eating, and not saying a word.
Scooby came into the room and sat next to Louis.
"Hey," Louis mumbled to Scooby as he sat down.
"Rey, you rood?" Scooby replied.
"Yeah, I'm good, just kind of upset, for once," Louis answered.
"Rorry," Scooby said.
"It's not your fault. Can I ask you a question?" Louis informed.
"Ruh Huh," Scooby agreed.
"Did I let, you all down, or just do something wrong?" Louis interrogated.
"Ruh uh," Scooby disagreed shaking his head rapidly.
"I, just don't get, why they won't listen to me. I haven't given them a reason, not to believe me," Louis mentioned.
"Rignore them," Scooby ordered.
"You really are a boy's best friend," Louis stated giving Scooby a slight smile.
"Rere's my ravorite rile," Scooby complemented.
"You like my smile?" Louis asked.
"Reah, Ri do," Scooby replied noticing something in Louis's hair.
"What?" Louis questioned.
"Rouis, rurn ris way for a rinute," Scooby requested politely.
"What, what did I do?" Louis wondered.
"Rothing," Scooby responded lifting his paws and searching around in Louis's hair.
"What's wrong with my hair?" Louis asked.
"Rothing, rot it," Scooby stated as he took out something out of his hair.
"What is that, Is that?..." Louis questioned.
"Rice? Ruh huh," Scooby warned finishing Louis's sentence.
"See? I told you there was something there, or there wouldn't be ice in my hair," Louis informed to the others still nicely.
"Louis," Daphne called out in a motherly sigh.
"Yeah?" Louis wondered.
"You are the only person, I know that would always say anything nice. Even when you were right, you don't even brag," Daphne complemented.
"Uh,.. Thanks," Louis responded hesitantly.
"Well, it could have just been cold, in there," Velma notified plainly.
"You've got to be kidding me," Louis muttered to himself.
"RI relieve you, Rouis," Scooby mentioned.
"Thanks, Scooby, you are the only one that believes me," Louis mumbled to Scooby as he finished eating.
Scooby gobbled up his food, and then took Louis to their bedroom.
On the way to their room, Scooby and Louis felt cold all of a sudden as they saw something written on the mirror.
"Get Out!" Louis read.
Once Scooby heard that he let out a loud scream. After the others heard, the gang came running up the stairs as fast as their legs could carry them.
