A yellow and brown van drove passed the Welcome To Gatorsburg sign and into the town.
A family was trying to find New York but was lost.
"Are you sure this is New York City?" The Mother asked.
"Yeah, absolutely, if I'm not mistaken this here is, uh, Broadway, What's that street sign say?" The Dad said.
"Gator Avenue," The mother answered.
"Hmm, I wonder how far Gator Avenue is from Broadway," The Dad mentioned.
"According to this map, 2,000 miles," The daughter added.
"Well, in that case we're gonna need to fill up the tank," The dad replied chuckling and pulling over to a gas station.
"Hello, hello, anybody there? Hello," The dad shouted stepping out as the dog ran out afterwards.
"Puddles, come back," The daughter demanded.
The dad took out his credit card and attempted to put it in somewhere.
The daughter went after Puddles as she saw him run into the bushes and tried to feel for him as she felt a face.
Suddenly the eyes opened and it tried to eat her.
She came running back to the vehicle screaming.
"Aaah, gator man," the daughter cried out.
"Sweetie, there's no such thing as..." The dad was going to warn until it jumped out of the bushes and out into the open.
"Gator man," The dad yelled as he ran back into the van.
The gator people hit the windows making the whole family scream as the dad slammed his foot on the accelerator getting away from them, stopping for a sec.
"Puddles," the daughter cried out.
As the dad put his foot back on the accelerator and drove out of Gatorsburg leaving their luggage behind.
The gator woman walked back into the bushes and left.
Meanwhile in Crystal Cove it was a boring day for Mystery Inc. it was raining outside so the gang was stuck indoors.
Suddenly Louis opened Fred's door and rolled in all soaking wet.
"Louis, you're all wet," Scooby mentioned lifting his head off of Shaggy's lap for a sec to see Louis extremely wet.
"I know, it's c-c-cold out t-t-there," Louis replied.
"Yeah, and I'm so bored, we haven't had a good mystery in I don't know when,"Velma complained.
Shaggy just let his head fall since he was so bored and Scooby just continued laying on Shaggy's lap.
Louis rolled over to the couch and Daphne picked him up and put him on the couch.
"Eek, it is freezing in here," Louis warned.
"Don't worry I'll warm you," Scooby stated as he scooted over to Louis and put his arms around him.
"Aw, you are warm, you know that," Louis complemented.
"Yep," Scooby answered.
"Fred, I think I've read every magazine in your house, What's that," Daphne informed as she looked in between the couch and saw a magazine and picked it up.
"No, don't, oh," Fred commanded trying to stop her and ended up flying over the couch to the floor.
"Traps Illustrated, Freddy," Daphne said.
"I, uh, I read it for the articles, in fact, it's where I got the idea for this little beauty," Fred eludicated as they all looked at the trap.
"Who do you expect to trap outside your front door?" Velma wondered.
As the doorbell rang and the person got caught in the trap and screamed.
"Let's find out," Fred replied as they all followed, Scooby putting Louis on his back and following when he opened the door it revealed the mailman.
"I got a package for Fred Jones," The Mailman stated.
"Hey, that's me," Fred responded as he grabbed the package, closed the door, and undid the trap letting the mail man go as he screamed again.
The others followed Fred back to one of the recliners.
"What is it?" Scooby asked.
"A present," Louis guessed.
"Like, um, I think it's a box," Shaggy added.
As everyone glared at him for stating the obvious, as Fred opened it, it revealed a letter and a package.
Velma gasped turning the letter around.
"It's from Mr. E, saved this for a rainy day, enjoy," Velma notified.
"I hate that guy he is mean," Louis whispered to Scooby.
"Yeah, and creepy," Scooby said.
"Mr. E, gives me the creeps, Fred, careful that could be a bomb," Daphne commented as she saw him taking it out.
"Ooh, strike that cute purse," Daphne corrected.
"100% pure Gator made in Gatorsburg," Fred read.
"Gatorsburg," Scooby and Louis repeated in unison smiling at one another noticing each other in unison.
"But that's impossible, Gatorsburg hasn't manufactured gator products in decades," Daphne warned.
"Not since the gator mines dried up," Velma finished.
"Gator mines," Scooby and Louis repeated in terror as thunder and lightning struck again.
"Wow, we gotta stop saying the exact thing, in the exact moment you are," Scooby and Louis mentioned to each other with a smile.
"You first," Scooby offered.
"No, that's okay, you go ahead," Louis insisted.
"Okay, what ever comes to our head, don't say it," Scooby suggested.
"Got it," Louis answered.
"Anyway, Gatorsburg was founded back in the 1800's when a group of prospectors searching for gold, struck something much more valuable, alligators, Gatorsburg had more alligators than anywhere in the world, overnight Gatorsburg became a boom town, the town became famous for its Gator skin products, then the Gator Wells ran dry, Gatorsburg became a ghost town," Velma explained.
"But like, Freddy, it says it was made in Gatorsburg," Shaggy re-hashed.
"Ooh, smells new," Scooby added sniffing the bag with his nose.
"You heard Scooby's adorable nose," Louis complemented.
"It's adorable?" Scooby questioned.
"I think so," Louis stated.
"Aw, thank you," Scooby replied.
"No problem, Scooby-Doo," Louis responded with a smile.
"Gang, we have a mystery on our hands," Fred said.
"Oh, sweet Christmas, finally," Velma cheered as they all left.
"But what does Christmas have to do with it?" Louis asked.
"Oh, never mind," Velma complained as everone walked out the door and got caught in Fred's trap.
"Fred, sometimes I hate your traps," Louis informed.
Later after getting out of the trap the gang arrived in Gatorsburg and stopped right in the middle and got out.
"This is what happens when a civilization is founded on an entirely gator-based economy," Velma notified standing proud as everyone walked around her
"Alright, Gang, let's split up and look for clues," Fred ordered.
Louis rolled over to where Scooby was and Velma walked up to Shaggy.
"What do you say Shaggy want to go clue hunting with me?" Velma wondered fluttering her eyes.
"Velma, whoo, not in front of Scoob," Shaggy repeated.
"He can go with Louis," Velma suggested.
Shaggy glared at her indicating he didn't want to.
Scooby sniffed the statue of the alligator as it suddenly closed and Scooby screamed as he jumped onto Louis.
"Okay, just a little freaked out? Louis asked playfully.
"Just a little," Scooby replied.
Like, Dudes, how about we check out Gator Burger? Shaggy brought up.
"Sounds delicious," Scooby agreed licking his lips and heading over there.
Louis rolled after them as Velma walked over to them.
One of the Gator people was going to eat something until it saw their shadows and it hid.
Scooby, Louis, and Shaggy entered the restaurant.
"Like, jackpot, Scooby-Doo, Shaggy mentioned spotting the burgers as him and Scooby ran over to them and started eating.
Velma walked over to Shaggy and tapped on his shoulder.
"We need to talk," Velma warned putting her hands on her hips.
"Velma, like, I would love to but like, I can't hear anything over the sound of my own stomach, it's going, like maybe give me a triple with cheese and chili, and like, pickle," Shaggy said pulling up his shirt, talking for his stomach, and squeezing it to make it look like it is.
"You know what, forget it," Velma stated walking out of the restaurant.
Shaggy thought for a sec, walked out of the restaurant after her and shouted,"Velma, wait up, like, Velma, what did I do?"
"Nothing, you didn't do anything," Velma complained storming off.
Meanwhile Scooby was still eating all the burgers.
"Dang, Scooby, slow down a bit," Louis informed.
"I have to keep my body in shape and the only way to do that is eat a lot, come on, try one," Scooby explained picking one up and reaching his paw with the burger out to Louis.
Louis looked over at Scooby who was looking at him with a big smile on his face and his hand reaching out, Louis reached out his hand and grabbed the burger.
Louis put the burger to his mouth and tried biting into it but couldn't.
"Uh, wow, this is really hard, probably because I still have baby teeth," Louis notified.
Scooby opened Louis's mouth.
"Aw, where are they?" Scooby asked wanting to see how cute they were.
"Everywhere," Louis replied in a muffled tone.
"They are so cute," Scooby complemented turned back to the food to think.
Scooby turned back to him, Scooby put part of Louis's burger into his mouth and sunk his teeth into it.
"Better?" Scooby wondered.
Louis nodded and finished biting into it.
"Mm, your saliva actually doesn't taste that bad," Louis commented.
Scooby smiled at Louis and licked his face.
"And your face doesn't taste that bad," Scooby answered.
"Aw," Louis whispered as he grabbed Scooby's face and hugged it.
Shaggy was still outside talking to himself.
"So me not doing anything, isthe thing, that you're mad about, like, why do girls have to be so confusing?" Shaggy questioned.
"Let's go gang, there's nothing to trap here," Fred announced.
"Time to go Louis and Scooby responded in unison as they headed out of the restaurant.
"Looks like Mr. E sent us on a wild goose chase," Fred warned the others as they got in the van
"Ah, yeah, more like a wild a wild Gator chase," Shaggy joked.
Fred turned the key and noticed it not turning on.
"Hm, that's weird," Fred said as he got out and checked the engine.
"Can you tell what the problem is Fred?" Daphne asked.
"You see that hole there that should be an engine," Fred answered.
"So you're saying someone stole the Mystery Machine's engine?" Louis questioned.
"Pretty much," Fred agreed.
As suddenly they heard an engine roaring and lights, as a truck drove over to them and a tall, grizzly, man stepped out.
"You kids, are in some serious trouble," the man informed.
Shaggy whimpered and gulped.
"Care to tell me what y'all doing in Gatorsburg," The man mentioned as he picked up Fred by his shirt.
"Whoa, whoa, let's not get hasty," Louis tried to ease it over.
"Shut up, brat, I wasn't talking to ya," The Man demanded.
"Yes sir," Louis whispered lowering his head.
Scooby walked closer to him and put his paw on Louis's shoulder supporting him.
"It's okay," Scooby comforted.
"Thanks," Louis replied.
"Our van broke down," Daphne warned.
"Maybe you could take a look at it, you look like you've got the hands for the job, hey, what size is your ring finger?" Fred explained.
"Why the heck should I help you?" The man questioned.
"Well, uh, maybe..." Louis tried to say.
"Did I ask you?" The man lashed out angrily.
"No," Louis mumbled.
"Then shut up," The man commanded.
"Okay," Louis muttered feeling more and more hurt by the man's mean words.
Scooby put his paws on Louis's legs and licked Louis's face making Louis feel a little bit better.
"Because you're a Mechanic," Velma mentioned.
"Touche, heres your problem engines missing, I'm gonna have to order a new one from Crystal Cove, seeing that's over three miles away, it won't arrive until morning," The Mechanic responded looking at the car and explaining to them the problem.
"So like, you're saying we're stuck in this super creepy gator town all night long," Shaggy complained.
Velma,Louis,Fred, and Daphne dialed their parents to tell them the news.
"Hello," Angie answered.
"Yello," Mayor Jones wondered.
"Yes?" Nan Blake asked.
Hello, Louis, dear, Louis's Grandmother stated.
"Hey Mom, we're stuck in Gatorsburg," Velma brought up.
"The van broke down," Fred added telling his dad.
"Think you could come and get us?" Daphne said.
"Oh, I wish I could but tonight's, race night, you know me and horses, Venus, is in his third retrograde, which means I'm betting on sick little monkey to show," Angie explained.
"Malevolent Mushroom Caps, Fred, I've already got the recliner in the recline position, there's no going back from that," Mayor Jones warned drinking his drink.
"Oh, sweetie, it's dark out, I can't go out in the dark," Nan whispered.
"Where are you?" Louis's Grandmother interrogated being put on speaker.
"Well, I'm with Mystery Incorporated and The Mystery Machine broke down meaning we're going to be stuck in Gatorsburg all night," Louis notified.
"Louis, I told you to stay away from those kids, I don't trust them, you snuck out again, unbelievable, I hate your rebellious stage, which means the dog is there, blech, as much as I would love to come and get you, I can't the car broke down again, put the dog on the phone Louis's Grandmother eludicated.
Louis passed it to Scooby nervous about what she was going to say.
Hello, Scooby replied.
"Yes, you better protect my boy out there or else your nightmares are going to worse than spending an eternity in hell, and you so much as hurt him even emotionally you're dead, or if one hair on his head is missing you and all your friends who are probably junkies by now, won't see the light of day again, I don't care if you die because you are dead to me,"Louis's Grandmother threatened.
Scooby just hung up getting tired of all her threats.
"Dang, you just hung up, go Scooby, maybe I should do that," Louis congratulated.
"Good Idea," Scooby answered.
"Sorry, my grandmother was so mean, she is sometimes too protective," Louis apologized.
"That's okay," Scooby informed messing up Louis's hair.
As Louis just smiled at him and messed up his fur.
Shaggy dialed his parents but they didn't answer cause they were painting.
"Oh, wait, duh, it's still live night," Shaggy stated.
"Guess we're here for the whole night," Velma mentioned.
"And Scooby-Dooby-Doo," Scooby commented getting in between them.
Velma just turned away and crossed her arms.
"So Louis, why didn't you tell us your Grand Mother didn't approve of us?" Daphne questioned.
"She's been acting all suspicious since I befriended you guys, I didn't think you guys needed to know that's kind of personal," Louis explained.
"Oh, that makes sense," Daphne replied.
"Don't suppose you could recommend a hotel," Fred mentioned asking the mechanic as began towing the Van.
"My sister, Greta, runs the best in town,The Drowsy Gator, oh, and a word of advice, don't leave you rooms, The Mechanic responded pointing to it and dropping them off there then driving off.
The gang watched as he left and they all headed to go inside as Scooby followed inside he noticed letters on the sign going out spelling the dog and checked it out.
As all of a sudden dies came to it, Scooby screamed and shouted,"Shaggy,Louis.
They all ran back to Scooby and saw what he was looking at and saw nothing, as they headed inside except for Louis, Louis stayed back with Scooby.
"For what it's worth, I believe you," Louis whispered to Scooby.
"Thanks," Scooby answered.
"No problem, what did you see?" Louis wondered.
"It said, the dog dies," Scooby notified.
"Oh dear, don't worry, I won't leave your side," Louis stated as they both followed the others to the door.
Fred opened the door and they walked inside.
They all started looking around, seeing how creepy the place looked, until they came up to the front desk and Fred rang the bell.
A woman came out leaning against the wall frame.
"We ain't got no rooms," The woman said.
"But your side on the window says Vacancy," Fred informed.
"That signs broken," The woman warned messing with her hair.
"But it's a painted sign." Velma commented.
"And it's made of wood," Louis added.
She looked angry for a minute and turned around seeing her crooked eyes.
As Louis and Scooby looked disgusted.
"Gunther, we've got guests," The woman announced as she licked her nose and as her son walked over there.
"Blech," Louis and Scooby mumbled to one another.
"Well, hello," Gunther mumbled in a raspy voice.
"This is my son, Gunther Gator, I'm Greta Gator, Greta stated.
"Your last names are Gator and you live in Gatorsburg, Shaggy added.
"What a coincidence," Scooby notified.
"Yeah, coincidence, Greta muttered as they laughed and led them up the stairs.
"We don't get much guests at the Drowsy Gator," Greta brought up.
"Shocker," Velma complained as they all went up the stairs.
Fred had Louis picked up since his wheel chair couldn't go up the stairs.
They walked through the hallways seeing different pictues of ggators until they saw one with claw marks.
"Like, Are those claw marks? Shaggy asked.
"I don't see any marks," Greta disagreed.
Shaggy grabbed the claw from the wall as they kept moving.
Greta opened a door to one of the rooms.
"I got a few hotel rules, Rule number one, boys and girls in separate rooms, no exceptions," Greta mentioned.
"Then I guess I'm with you Daphne," Velma stated.
"I said, No Exceptions!!!!!" Greta repeated.
"But I'm a girl," Velma replied.
"Oh, right, Rule number two, stay in your rooms, no matter what you hear, that includes screams, moans, wails, pounding, claws, scratching, and anything that sounds like a body being dragged across a hardwood floor," Greta explained getting in all their faces.
"Okay well, Shag, looks like you, me, Louis and Scoob are in this room," Fred said putting Louis down on the bed.
" I almost forgot, Rule number three, No Pets in the hotel," Greta shouted.
"What?" Scooby asked.
Gunther giggled looking at the girls.
"It's okay Scoob, you can sleep in the mystery machine," Fred comforted.
" It's just one night, Scooby-Doo, I'll see you in the morning, buddy," Shaggy reminded.
"I hope so, you coming? Louis, Scooby questioned as they hugged and cried.
Velma just rolled her eyes knowing they were too attached
"Sorry Scooby, I have to stay here, I won't be able to sleep in the Mystery Machine, sorry bud," Louis warned.
"It's okay," Scooby responded as he left.
As he walked down the stairs he complained saying," I'm not a pet."
When the girls were in their room, Velma was in the bathroom putting on mascara.
"There's something different about your bangs," Daphne mentioned.
"I raised them a half centimeter to bring out my forehead, toodles," Velma said.
"Where are you going?" Daphne wondered.
"I forgot something, Velma made up.
"What?" Daphne asked.
"I forget," Velma replied.
Daphne thought for a sec and smiled as she got an idea.
Meanwhile in the boys room the boys were having a conversation.
"You know, Shag,Louis, when we all graduate from High School and move in together, we can get a room just like this, you like bunk beds?" Fred explained.
"I do, but I'm kind of concerned about Scooby-Doo, he's by himself and I feel kind of guilty, I promised to stay with him," Louis warned.
"Yeah, I think about that right now, Fred, like, I'm worried about Scoob," Shaggy complained.
"Well, I'd say for you both to check on him, if it weren't for the fact that we were warned to stay in our rooms, hey, do you guys prefer flannel or cotton sheets, Shaggy, Louis," Fred brought up as he noticed them both gone.
Shaggy carried Louis as they exited out of the room and bumped into Velma.
"Oh, Velma," Shaggy whispered.
"Were you sneaking over to see me?" Velma asked.
"Um, yeah, but Fred told me and Louis to go and check on Scooby-Doo, so I'm doing that," Shaggy excused.
"Wait but I thought," Louis questioned.
As Shaggy elbowed him.
"Trust me, Scoob, is just fine, besides we can put Louis down stairs to check on him," Velma informed.
If only Velma knew it was quite the opposite Scooby was shivering with fright as he suddenly heard something and called, "Shaggy."
As one of the gator people passed by as Scooby covered his head with a blanket.
Fred however, was still laying on the bed until he noticed the door opening, and said,"Daphne."
"I'm looking for Velma, have you seen her?" Daphne mumbled.
"No, but I'm glad you're here, I have something for you," Fred answered.
"You do?" Daphne wondered.
"It's just a memento of our time together," Fred responded.
"Oh, Freddy, a scrapbook, I bet it's filled with pictures of... traps," Daphne cheered and then shouted realizing what it was.
"We used this one to catch the Phantom of Vasquez Castle," Fred added.
"Yeah, I remember," Daphne muttered.
"And this baby helped us nab Carlotta the gypsy," Fred notified.
"Mm,hm I was there," Daphne complained.
"And this one," Fred announced.
As Scooby was still freaking out.
"No monsters,no monsters," Scooby was whispering to himself as he saw something in the window, jumped up and screamed.
He yelled "monster" and ran out of the van but he skidded to a stop seeing them there as he ran the other way the gator person barely missing Scooby's nose, as Scooby jumped on the van
Scooby tried to get off of the van on the other side but another one jumped trying to attack, Scooby went back the other way and saw the other two there jumping too.
Scooby's eyes just teared up and he shouted," Shaggy help."
The gator people scratched at Scooby's paws trying to get a hold of them, they continued jumping onto the van, Scooby just jumped on one and got out of the way as he tried to get off while the gator people close behind him.
Scooby jumped on the engine ducking as the gator people landed on it too sling shotting Scooby to the steps on his back.
Scooby looked at the gator people from upside down and saw them heading his way, the gator person 1 try to bite him as Scooby jumped up and dashed inside.
Louis now in his wheel chair rolling to the door saw Scooby dash inside.
"Scooby, what's the matter?" Louis asked.
"Gator people," Scooby shouted.
"Gator people," Louis repeated frightened.
"Yeah, they were right behind me," Scooby warned.
"Well, you're safe now Scooby, we better go inform the others," Louis stated.
As the gator people burst through the doors coming after them.
Scooby grabbed Louis, put him on his back, and ran up the stairs with the gator people not far behind.
Fred was still explaining to Daphne about the trap book not knowing that anything was going on.
"And I left a few pages blank, you know, for future traps," Fred said.
"Good thinking," Daphne mumbled to Fred still sulking.
Suddenly Scooby burst in with Louis now hanging from Scooby's neck.
"Scoob. what's the matter? and why is Louis's arms around your neck?" Fred questioned.
"He's trying to tell us something," Daphne mentioned.
Louis was trying to calm down so he can translate.
Scooby put Louis on the floor beside the bed and began doing charades.
"Tator people, crater steeple," Fred guessed.
Scooby continued doing more charades.
"Skater people," Fred shouted.
"Gator people," Daphne yelled out.
Scooby and Louis sighed and nodded.
As the gator people started banging on the door Scooby ran over to the bed onto Fred knocking the night stand over with the lamp breaking it.
The Gator people got the door open and hissed and then disappeared from the doorway.
"Quick on the bed," Daphne commanded.
Scooby grabbed Louis in his arms and jumped on the bed as Fred jumped too.
The female gator person chased after Daphne.
"No!!!" Fred cried out.
As Daphne jumped on the bed into Fred's arms.
"Oh, Freddy," Daphne whispered.
"My Scrapbook," Fred finished dropping Daphne and picking up his scrapbook as one came out from under the bed.
"Oh, Fred, this is it there's no escape," Daphne complained hanging onto Scooby.
"I've got an idea, quick guys the comforter," Fred ordered.
Scooby put Louis down for a sec, as they put the comforter over the gator people, Scooby put Louis back on his back and they all slid out the door.
Shaggy wasn't having a good time either he was backing up.
"Wow, look at this, No Fred, No Daphne, No Scooby, No Louis, just us," Velma stated as she puckered her lips to kiss Shaggy.
Shaggy puckered his lips as they were about to kiss until the rest of the gang burst in.
Scooby put Louis on the bed and jumped onto Shaggy licking him.
"Scooby-Doo," Shaggy cheered happy to see him.
"What's going on?" Velma questioned.
"Gator People!!!" Daphne and Louis shouted.
"Come again?" Velma interrogated not getting it.
As Fred shushed her and the room was filled with silence.
"Maybe they're gone," Fred mumbled.
All of a sudden the lights went out and Shaggy whimpered.
"I'm going to say no," Louis commented.
One of the gator people burst through the window as Daphne moved the gator person roared.
Velma hit it on the head and put the curtains on it's head as they all ran to the bathroom.
Louis was picked up by Fred as they all entered the bathroom; Shaggy and Scooby went in at the same time and got stuck in the doorway upon seeing the woman in the bathtub and pointing to warn the gang.
As they all ran out, Fred accidentally dropped Louis.
He moved his elbows without moving his legs to get out on his own and join the rest of the gang.
The gang was now surrounded as Fred whispered, "move toward the door, very slowly."
Scooby slowly lifted Louis off the floor as he put him back on his back.
They all moved towards the door, suddenly the other one grabbed Velma's ankles and tried to pull her down into the hole.
"Like, Velma!!"Shaggy shouted.
"Shaggy!!!" Velma cried out as Shaggy yanked pulling her out.
"You saved me," Velma said.
"I did, zoinks," Shaggy replied as he noticed the thing'shandwas still onher ankle.
Velma screamed again as she saw it.
"That's disgusting," Scooby stated.
"Wait, that isn't real, it looks like part of a costume," Fred notified.
The gator person ripped it to shreds as they resumed trying to corner them.
The Gang ran out the door to the room and ran out of the hotel and to the van.
"Scooby, Louis, get behind the wheel," Fred commanded.
"But the Mystery Machine is broken," Daphne reminded.
"I know, which is why we're gonna push it," Fred explained.
Scooby got him and Louis inside the van as the rest of Mystery Incorporated pushed.
Scooby looked behind them to see if they were moving until they started going down hill.
"Hang on, Louis," Scooby warned.
"Oh believe me, I am," Louis answered.
The gang ran after it as Scooby hit the brake and they all got in, then he drove away looking in the mirror.
Scooby didn't stop till they were out of Gatorsburg after that Scooby got him and Louis out of the car and joined the others.
"Look they're stopping," Velma informed.
As the gator people left.
"They weren't trying to eat us, they were just trying to get us out of town," Fred eludicated.
"Why?" Daphne questioned.
"I don't know but if we're gonna solve this mystery were going to have to back into Gatorsburg Fred notified.
"Say what?" Scooby, Louis, and Shaggy asked.
"They're crazy," Scooby stated to Louis.
"Definitely," Louis replied.
The gang went back in and found them at the docks.
"Like, it's them," Shaggy whispered.
The gang snuck over to a pile of crates and Velma and Louis opened them with crowbars as they did a fist bump.
Velma looked inside and took a belt out.
"100% pure gator, this belt is just like the purse, Mr. E sent us," Velma announced.
"Shh, keep it down Velma, you wanna be caught?" Louis warned.
Scooby opened it with his mouth trying to help Velma.
"Let me see that," Daphne mentioned.
Daphne wrapped it around her skin and grunted somewhat quietly.
"What happened?" Fred wondered.
"I'm allergic to imitation animal skin, pleather, fur, it all makes me break out," Daphne answered.
"That belt isn't a 100 % real gator," Velma said.
"It's a fake, they're all fakes," Louis responded.
"So like, those fake gator people are selling fake gator products, dude, we are dealing with serious irony," Shaggy complained.
"We have to stop them," Fred insisted.
"Like, you gator freaks, you are the ugliest crocodiles ever," Shaggy insulted as him and Scooby taunted them.
"Who are you calling a crocodile?" the gator person number 3 asked.
"Get them," the gator person number 2 demanded.
As the gator people ran after them as Shaggy and Scooby ran screaming, Daphne, Louis, ( who now had a new wheel chair) and Fred held up the belts for the trap.
Scooby and Shaggy stepped over the loop holes and ran away.
The gator people stepped in them getting up to the sky getting hit by a sheet, bouncing them onto the trampoline, and into the boxes.
"Got em," Scooby said.
"Yeah, give me some paw," Louis cheered.
As Scooby high pawed Louis.
"Ol, 45, gets em everytime," Fred bragged.
Daphne just turned away from him.
The Sheriff's sirens started going off as the Sheriff arrived on the scene.
"Time to find out who these greedy gators really are,"Fred stated.
"Grady Gator," Daphne announced.
"Greta Gator," Louis answered.
"Gunther Gator," Scooby questioned.
"But why?" Fred wondered.
"After we ran out of gators, everyone moved out of Gatorsburg but not us," Grady explained.
"This here's our home," Greta complained.
"So with no alligators left, you decided to make imitation gator products and pass them off as real," Daphne said.
"But you couldn't have anyone snooping around Gatorsburg," Velma stated.
"So you created the Creeping Creatures to scare people away," Louis mentioned.
"Then you could run your counterfeit gator ring without anyone knowing who you were or what you were up to," Fred added.
"Like, that is one ridiculous plan," Shaggy complained.
"And you know what we would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling juveniles and your unauthorized investigation of our synthetic gator accessories," Gunther brought up.
"You're telling me this gator stuff is fake, I paid a fortune for this tracksuit," Sheriif Stone whined.
"Sorry, Sheriff," Velma apologized.
"Man, I gotta get out of this suit, this fake gator stuff doesn't breathe, I'm starting to smell a little, funky, arrest them, even though I have absolutely no jurisdiction here," Sheriff Stone warned as he stormed off.
The deputies came and took the Gator family.
The gang ran over to Sheriff Stone's car as it was pulling out of the drive way.
"Wait Sheriff, can you give us a ride the Mystery Machine isn't," Fred shouted trying to get Sheriff Stone's attention but he already left.
Suddenly the Mystery Machine's engine started as they all turned around gasping.
"Uh Oh, the Mystery Machine's possessed," Louis yelled.
"Like, there's no engine in the Mystery Machine, it's haunted," Shaggy informed.
Fred opened the engine compartment and saw the engine in it along with a letter.
"It's from Mr. E," Velma notified as Daphne grabbed the letter.
"I hope you had a good time in Gatorsburg but be warned, there are more mysteries to come, this is only one piece of the puzzle and Louis, if you are reading this, get the heck out, leave Mystery Incorporated while you still can, your family is not to be trusted and you are just as evil," Daphne read.
"What my family, my parents were evil, there is no way that's true, maybe he's lying," Louis answered freaking out and not believing it on the outside but on the inside he was believing every word.
"Puzzle, what's that supposed to mean?" Fred wondered as him and the rest of the gang ignored what Mr. E said about Louis.
"Like, I've got a bad feeling, we're gonna find out, Shaggy stated whimpering.
All of a sudden Lightning struck and scared Scooby as he jumped into Shaggy's arms and held on tight.
Shaggy looked at Velma with a smile and grabbed her hand.
She smiled back as they looked into each other's eyes.
Louis looked at Scooby and remembered that him and Scooby weren't friends, he looked at how him and Shaggy always hanged out and felt a feeling of sadness, tears came down the boy's cheeks, he just wiped them away and looked at his phone.
Once the Gang got back to Crystal Cove, Fred drove the Mystery Machine to Louis's house and dropped him off.
"You sure you don't need help rolling over to the doorstep?" Scooby asked trying to spend a little more time with him.
"Yeah, but if you want to come you can," Louis responded.
"Okay, I will, I'll stay at Louis's house, guys, go home without me," Scooby agreed as he walked out of the Mystery Machine and the mystery drove off.
Scooby pushed Louis's wheel chair slowly towards the door.
"So, why did you wanna come with?" Louis questioned.
"Well, we didn't really get to spend much time with each other today, besides that's what acquaintances are for, right?" Scooby explained.
"Right, of course," Louis answered being hurt by Scooby's statement.
"You okay? you seem upset," Scooby wondered.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Louis replied.
"Thanks for checking on me when you did and being there for me when you didn't have to," Scooby thanked.
"No problem, that's what acquaintances are for," Louis whispered.
"Oh, we're here," Scooby announced as he looked at Louis's face for a second and changed the subject.
Scooby knocked on the door using his paw.
Louis's Grandmother answered the door seeing Scooby there with him.
"Ah, Scooby-Doo, welcome, thanks for protecting him," Louis's Grandmother stated.
"He's staying here, Grandma," Louis warned.
"Yay, come on in, Louis's Grandmother cheered twitching and resisting to hit the dog.
Scooby pushed Louis in the house and stopped in the living room.
"So, where's your room? Louis," Scooby questioned.
"Upstairs," Louis answered.
"Hang up on me again like that, and you'll be dead, I don't care if Louis likes you or not, I never trusted you and you'll be that wood in the fire place if it was up to me," Louis's Grandmother muttered in Scooby's ear.
"Right, I'm so scared, you won't kill me, and as for being wood it isn't up to you," Scooby reminded the Grandmother of her predicament of Louis not listening to her.
She balled up her fist and just took deep breaths.
Scooby bit Louis's shirt and took Louis up the stairs.
"Oh, and Grandmother this package came in for you," Louis notified as him and Scooby were halfway up the stairs as he threw it into her hands.
The two went up stairs to his room, Scooby put Louis down on his bed and Scooby looked around Louis's room exploring his new surroundings.
"Sorry about my Grand Mother, she's usually really nice when you get to know her, that and she has been kind of acting strange as of late," Louis apologized.
"It's okay don't worry about it, your room is huge," Scooby complemented.
"Thanks, do you like my room?"Louis wondered.
"Like it, I love it, I should have sleep overs here more often," Scooby said.
Louis combed his hair since he was already in his covers and practically ready for bed.
"So, where do you wanna sleep?" Louis asked.
"Right on your bed sounds nice, is it okay to lay with you?" Scooby mentioned.
"Really, you wanna sleep on my bed?" Louis questioned making sure he wasn't hearing things.
"Sure, I prefer to sleep on beds, anyway," Scooby agreed.
Scooby got on the bed and laid next to Louis, Louis put his arms around Scooby and drifted off to sleep, Scooby just smiled and also went off to sleep.
Louis's Grandmother opened the package and saw a recording and played it.
"Hello Tanya, nice to see you again but I'm going to go straight to business, if Louis does not get out of Mystery Incorporated, he'll die, but since I know you won't let me I'll have to kill you first, so you better get him out , this is your last chance if not, you and him we'll be dead in only a few days, and I don't think you want that to happen, goodbye Tanya, " Mr. E eludicated.
Louis's Grandmother looked outside to make sure no one was there and just sat and started planning how to stop Louis from making the biggest mistake of his life.
