At Crystal Cove High School.
It was the end of a Soccer Game.
"Fred missed another match, What'd he get trapped?" Gary complained as he played.
He kicked the ball to Ethan.
Ethan bounced it on his knee as he talked.
"Whatevs, this time he missed a game we're gonna win," Ethan stated as he passed it back to Gary.
Suddenly, a player intercepted Gary's pass and got the ball.
As Gary fell to the ground,Ethan complained.
"Hey, he can't do that,Red Card," Ethan said.
The Coach whistled.
"No way that was a Clean Steal," Another player disagreed.
Even in the Bleachers everyone was fighting.
"This is bogus," One of the Crystal Cove High fans whined.
As one of the other team's fans threw a Hot Dog in his face.
Another Fan threw his drink in the guy's face.
The Guy stormed that way.
"Oh, you're done, as in cooked," The guy warned.
"Yeah, I get it, What if I just?" The fan was about to retort.
All of a sudden Flowers and a scent filled the air.
"Told you I loved you so much," The Fan finished.
It even happened on the field.
"Okay, so maybe what I am saying is," A Player lashed out angrily.
"Who cares it's just a game," the Player rephrased.
As they put their arms around each other.
"You are so amazing, I love everything!" Gary complemented to a strange being.
"Are tears of joy inappropriate?" Ethan asked.
"Not at all,tears are just the beginning," The Monster stated as she revealed her face.
At School the Next Day.
The Bell rang.
The Gang were near their lockers.
"So did anyone hear about the weird love fest at the game last night?" Velma wondered.
Scooby suddenly heard a noise.
"Huh? Are you okay Shaggy?" Scooby asked.
"Like,no, I was so worried about the Test today, that I forgot to eat breakfast,dude, you wouldn't perchance have some Scooby Snacks? Would you?" Shaggy warned.
"Not anymore," Louis added.
"Uh,sure," Scooby agreed giving him the box.
Shaggy tried to empty the box into his mouth but all that came out was crumbs.
"Oh boy," He murmured.
"Hey Gang,look at this," Daphne announced.
As they all looked into the Classroom, seeing everyone in love.
"Okay,weird," Velma said.
"You're telling me," Louis stated.
"The dorky head of the Chess Club is holding hands with a Cheerleader and the Class President is dancing with that smelly girl, Hot Dog Water," Velma explained.
"I didn't think Hot Dog Water is that bad," Louis mentioned.
"Hot Dogs? L-let me see," Shaggy requested.
"Easy Shaggy, I don't think Hot Dog Water actually has Hot Dogs, she just smells like Hot Dog Water because when someone doesn't wash after Gym and they wear Gingham and Wool like Hot Dog Water does, there's a Chemical Reaction from the Bacteria, that can smell like,well,like Hot Dogs," Fred explained.
"I didn't take you to know all that,Fred," Louis commented.
"I'm not Woo-hooing because of Hot Dog Water, I'm Woo-hooing because there's a Substitute Teacher, which means," Shaggy warned.
"No Test for Shaggy," Shaggy and Scooby said in unison as they did a Handclap.
Louis just smiled at them and shook his head.
Shaggy walked into the Class.
"Like,hey there,Substi-Teach,sorry,I'm late but,ew," Shaggy was aplogizing before noticing how ugly she was.
That was when she blew stuff at him, he then felt lovey dubby.
Velma was in Class studying when she saw Shaggy.
"Shaggy, What's wrong with you? Class has started,go,vamoose," Velma asked.
Shaggy blew on the Window and made a Heart.
Velma opened the Window.
"Are we having a Low Blood Sugar moment?" Velma wondered.
"Like, who needs Blood Sugar when I've got you?" Shaggy complemented.
As Shaggy gave some to her.
"Huh? That's the most romantic thing I've ever heard," Velma replied.
As they held hands and waltzed around the room.
Everyone saw and when they passed by got affected too.
Outside Class,Fred was talking to Daphne.
"Take a look,Daph,I'm working on this one,right now,it's a net drop with a cinch-action Hem," Fred explained.
Shaggy and Velma bumped into them.
And as they fell, they fell under it as well.
Scooby and Louis walked back into School.
"Where is everybody?" Louis wondered.
"I don't know," Scooby answered.
All the students suddenly ran out and began giving Scooby attention.
"Okay,that's weird," Louis whispered
Scooby giggled enjoying it.
When he leaped out, Louis and Scooby met up again.
"What was that all about?" Scooby asked.
"I don't know," Louis answered.
When they looked at the Entrance to Class they saw her,leaped up, and screamed.
"Sh-sh-Shaggy," Scooby called out.
"Guys," Louis called.
"Quiet now,Sweet Pup and Child, all you need is love," She stated.
As she blew it at them, they looked at each other weirded out.
"Sorry, ugly Lady, not feeling it," Scooby said.
"Neither do I," Louis agreed.
"It's not working,get him," She ordered.
"Bad dog, and child," They murmured as they approached them.
Pretty bad," Scooby mumbled.
As Scooby put Louis on his back and they ran.
Scooby ran outside and got in front of the Gang.
"Shaggy,help," Scooby called.
They just walked around him as they held hands.
"Scooby, I think it got them,too," Louis notified
"Bring them to the Love my Puppets," Aphrodite demanded.
"Love," They mumbled.
Scooby instantly ran away from there.
But the rest of Crystal Cove wasn't much better.
"It's gotten everyone," Louis said.
As they looked around in horror.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, it's the most mystifying spookilating thing ever to happen to Crystal Cove,and look, it's everywhere,the love," Angie announced as her bus drove by with the Passengers already infected.
Scooby and Louis let out a sigh of relief.
But when they turned around they saw the Mystery Machine driving their way.
With Aphrodite in it.
Louis and Scooby screamed.
"Run down, that Mangy Mongrel,run him down with the love,now," Aphrodite commanded.
"Yes,Miss Aphrodite," They responded in unison.
As Fred slammed his foot down on the Accelerator.
Scooby moved out of the way into an Alley.
"I think we're finally safe," Louis mentioned.
All of a sudden, a Shadow appeared behind them.
"You must be...Scooby-Doo," A familiar voice stated.
As the two gasped.
"Professor Pericles," They announced in unison.
"How did you get out?" Louis questioned.
"A Pleasure to meet you, my Clover-Toed Comrade, and nice to see you again Little Blondie, sorry, it had to be under such dire circumstances,fortunately for Crystal Cove... I'm here to help," Professor Pericles replied.
"You are?" Scooby questioned.
"Yeah, sure you are," Louis commented.
"Oh, I know what you two are thinking, Why would I ever deign those who locked me up like a common beast despite the power of my diabolical mind," Pericles explained.
"Not exactly what we were thinking but," Louis and Scooby disagreed.
"As much as I love seeing my Captors tormented, I will not let my home be destroyed by some tarted up hippie, the only question that remains is,Will you two help me? I heard you are a great team, and What's the problem with adding one more," Pericles finished.
The two looked at each other and thought about it.
To Shaggy and Velma.
They were at the Clam Cabin.
"Decimal Point here,Remainder,there, a thing of beauty," Velma finished explaining.
"Like, I don't know what that means but I love it when you say it," Shaggy complemented.
"What is this?" Velma questioned.
"Like, it's a Clamonte Cristo,Deep Fried Clams and Cheese French Toast coated with Powdered Sugar and just a little hint, of Bacon Grease," Shaggy said.
"Jinkies! I think I just felt an Artery Harden," Velma mentioned.
"That's okay, you have more," Shaggy stated.
As they sighed lovedly.
Meanwhile Fred and Daphne got in Fred's Trap.
It went up and dumped them outside His house, in the Bushes.
They stuck their heads out.
"I gotta work on that Trap," Fred pointed out.
As they both giggled.
"Later," Fred muttered.
"Oh,Freddy, you chose me over a trap,I'm going to cry," Daphne replied.
At The School.
Scooby-Doo walked out with Louis rolling after him.
Scooby-Doo had a vest on with pockets.
"Are you ready innocent child and canine comrades?" Pericles wondered.
"Mm,hm," Scooby whispered.
"You know it," Louis agreed.
"Then let's save ourselves a town," Pericles stated.
As Scooby and Louis looked at each other in worry about what they were doing with a Criminal.
They, then looked ahead preparing for what was going to happen next.
At The Cemetery
"The Antidote to stop Aphrodite has several distinct components,Pewter,found in grout used only in Stained Glass Windows of the Eighteenth Century," Pericles said.
As Scooby and Louis paid attention to every word he said.
When he was done, he put it in a container and gave it to Louis to put in one of Scooby's many pockets.
They then, went to the Crystal Cove Spook Museum.
"Ectoplasm or as it's more commonly known,Ghost Mucus," Pericles announced as he lowered it into another Compartment in Scooby's uniform.
"Next," Louis ordered.
As Louis and Scooby smiled at each other as they left.
At Darrow Mining Company.
"And,Finally,Rose Quartz, mined in the Caves beneath Crystal Cove," Pericles finished.
Before Pericles landed back on Scooby's back.
"Scooby, Can we talk?" Louis requested.
"Sure," Scooby agreed.
They left from where Pericles was.
"Are you sure we could trust him?" Louis questioned.
"No, but we don't have a choice, we need to to save the others, or we'll never solve this Mystery," Scooby warned.
Louis sighed.
"You're right," Louis stated.
At Crystal Cove High School.
Scooby and Louis were mixing the last of the Antidote.
They poured the last bit into the last Vial.
"The Antidote is Complete,now load the final cylinder, we don't have much time, we must pack these up quickly," Pericles ordered looking outside for her.
"On it," Louis responded.
All of a sudden Aphrodite burst the door open.
Scooby and Louis screamed as they saw her.
"Fools, you think you can stop me, I will have my crown," Aphrodite said.
"Crown," Scooby,Louis,and Pericles repeated as they looked at each other.
"Get them,seize the antidote," Aphrodite commanded.
The People approached it and began to take them.
The People cornered Scooby and Louis and Pericles tried to pull the Vial they took away from them.
But his grasp slipped and he fell on the desk ruining the equipment.
They gave Scooby and Louis flowers as they were grossed out.
The others took more of the antidote.
"Quick! My friends save the last one," Pericles commanded trying to get out of a person's grip.
Scooby put Louis on his back and got out of the corner.
He quickly grabbed the last one before the others could grab it, as him and Louis left.
Pericles finally got out of the Woman's reach and flew away.
"Now! Scooby-Doo,Run," Pericles ordered as he pecked Aphrodite.
The three escaped and went towards the Gang.
"Pull that and put the Vial in so we can save your friends," Pericles demanded.
Louis pulled it as Scooby gave him the Vial.
Louis put it in.
Aphrodite and her Zombies walked out.
"You're already too late," Aphrodite said.
Almost everyone was unconscious.
The Gang walked by seeing Mayor Jones and Sheriff Stone dancing together.
"Dad, Isn't it wonderful?" Fred wondered.
"Oh,it is,Fred, and I want you to know that I love it when you build those ridiculous traps," Mayor Jones responded cradling his son's face.
Fred and Daphne chuckled by what they heard.
Daphne and Velma looked at each other and smiled.
"Fire," Scooby commanded.
Louis fired it as it hit the Gang.
Shaggy and Velma saw them holding hands and gasped.
"Awkward," Velma commented.
"Uh,uh, yeah,right,uh,gonna probably need that hand," Shaggy added.
The Gang saw Scooby and Louis with Professor Pericles.
"Professor Pericles," They announced.
"Hello,Children," Pericles answered.
"Silver-Plated-Seesaws,Fred, you're not in the love anymore,now I'm going to have to let out an unearthly yowl and destroy you," Mayor Jones mentioned.
As him and Sheriff Stone made an unearthly yowl.
Everyone woke up and began to chant not in the love.
"Uh oh," Louis muttered.
"Yikes! No more antidote," Scooby warned.
They continued to approach them and chant, "Not in the Love."
"They shall be offered up as a sacrifice to the goddess of love, which is to say,me," Aphrodite requested.
Suddenly,Angel drove in the Mystery Machine to them.
"What y'all waiting for an e-vite,move it or lose it,peeps," Angel said.
The Gang ran in the Van everyone but Scooby and Louis.
Shaggy and Velma pulled Scooby in but a Zombie grabbed Louis's legs.
Louis screamed in pain and fear.
Scooby grabbed his arms.
Shaggy and Velma helped but it wasn't working.
Scooby quickly reacted he threw the empty vial at him,making him let go of Louis.
Scooby put his arms around Louis and rolled all the way to behind the front seats.
Scooby held Louis in his arms.
"Thanks,buddy," Louis thanked.
"Don't mention it," Scooby replied.
"No,no,get them you fools," Aphrodite complained.
As the Gang left Crystal Cove.
"Angel,you're not infected?" Velma questioned
"That's right,baby, I was born with no sense of smell," Angel informed.
"Have we been introduced?" Pericles asked.
"Professor Pericles," Angel wondered.
"So nice to meet you,Angel," Pericles whispered.
Above Crystal Cove, The Gang sat in the Mystery Machine thinking of what to do next.
"We gotta find out who she is and what she wants," Fred mentioned.
"Like,maybe she's a gorgon who rose from the dead and she's gonna turn us all into an army of Vampire Robots," Shaggy guessed.
"Wait a sec, that's the plot from, Vincent Van Ghoul's "Gorgon Parade," Velma warned.
"And it was based on a true story," Shaggy added.
"Shaggy, it's official you watch too many Sci-fi movies," Louis commented sitting in Scooby's lap with his head against Scooby's chest.
"Far be it for me,a tiny thumb-less avian to hazard a guess but did anyone else notice her choice of clothing, specifically the style," Pericles notified.
"Wait a sec, she was wearing a prom dress," Daphne agreed.
"Then that's where we'll start," Fred ordered.
Back at the School.
"Spread out,Gang,we're looking for any information on the kind of prom dress Aphrodite was wearing, we find the dress,maybe we can track it back to her," Fred commanded.
Velma looked in Magazines.
Scooby held his flashlight in his mouth and Louis held his in his hand as the duo searched the Archives.
"Nope," Louis warned.
As Scooby threw it to the floor.
"Scooby, these are archived for a reason," Louis informed.
"I know,we can fix it later, how about this one?" Scooby wondered.
"Nuh,uh," Louis disagreed.
As Scooby threw that one to the floor, Louis shook his head.
Shaggy looked through the Halls of the Books.
Pericles read books.
Daphne saw a book and took it out.
She blew it and she coughed cause it was cover in dust.
"Nothing," Fred notified.
"Like,Nothing here,either," Shaggy announced.
"None," Scooby stated.
Scooby saw Louis no where to be found.
"Louis,Louis," Scooby called out.
Scooby soon stepped on something hard in the Archives.
"I'm in here, you're stepping on me," Louis yelled muffly.
Scooby dived into the Pool of Archives and got him out.
"Sorry, I didn't know you were in there," Scooby apologized.
"I can't swim," Louis complained.
Scooby put his arms around Louis to hold him up.
"Hey Gang,I found something," Velma shouted.
"Finally,someone did," Louis commented.
As they all followed her to a desk with a lamp so they could look over her shoulder and read it.
"This girl went to school here," Velma warned.
"Ooh, this should be interesting," Louis added.
"And she's wearing the same dress, her name was Amanda Smythe and she was some sort of Chemistry Wiz," Velma read.
"It also says, she was named Prom Queen," Daphne continued.
"The Crown," Louis,Scooby, and Pericles announced in unison looking at each other.
"Like, What Crown?" Shaggy wondered.
"Miss Repugnant Bohemian said something about," Pericles said.
"Having her Crown," Louis finished.
"Why yes, we make a great team," Pericles complemented.
As Louis smiled hearing that.
"It says here the night she came to be crowned, turned out to be a trick by some of her Classmates, she was laughed out of school and never seen again," Daphne read.
"Poor thing," Louis whispered.
"Alright, I think we all know what time it is," Fred stated.
As everyone shone their Flashlights at him.
"Let me guess, time to set a trap," Louis guessed.
"Yeah, Time to set a trap,Trap Time,boy,you guys,you think,you'd know by now," Fred agreed.
As Louis rolled his eyes.
In the Boiler Room, Shaggy and Velma were looking for Fire Extinguishers.
They found some when Velma said something.
"Look about what happened," Velma mentioned.
"Yeah,uh,about that," Shaggy added.
"We don't have to," Velma tried to continue.
"No,no way," Shaggy interrupted.
"In fact,I'd prefer," Velma continued.
"Absolutely,my thoughts exactly," Shaggy agreed as he grabbed another one and left.
Velma stopped and closed her eyes in hurt and regret.
At The Theater.
Fred and Daphne were picking out disguises.
"So,Fred, we haven't had a chance to talk about what happened between us, How much do you remember?" Daphne mentioned.
"What do you mean? All of it," Fred answered.
"Really? And how does it make you feel?" Daphne asked.
"No different," Fred replied.
"Huh?" She questioned.
"I don't need Aphrodite's Spell to care about you," Fred stated.
"Oh,Freddy," Daphne said.
In one of the Classrooms.
Louis,Scooby, and Angel were making more antidote.
"So Scooby," Louis brought up.
"Yeah?" Scooby wondered.
"I was just wondering, Do you like working with Professor Pericles?" Louis asked.
"Yeah, it's not too bad," Scooby responded.
"I know, but, Did you like it just being almost just the two of us?" Louis questioned.
"What do you mean? Yeah, no matter what predicament I'm in, I always enjoy spending time with you,Louis," Scooby complemented.
Louis smiled wide at that.
"Even though I wouldn't want it to happen again," Louis added.
"Agreed," Scooby agreed.
"Just a question, but, Would you be mad if I was keeping a secret from you?" Louis wondered.
"What do you mean? Is everything okay?Do you not want to be friends anymore?" Scooby interrogated.
"No,I'll never want to stop being friends," Louis warned.
"Is everything okay?" Scooby repeated.
"Yeah, I was just wondering," Louis replied.
Pericles flew in to help them pour it into the Fire Extinguishers.
"Of course, I would, everyone keeps there secrets for a little bit, it's understandable,as long as you eventually tell me," Scooby answered.
"But what if I never tell you?" Louis wondered.
"Louis, What's going on?" Scooby questioned.
"Nothing,everything's fine," Louis responded stuttering giving Scooby an awkward smile.
"I would be a little hurt,but it wouldn't do anything bad to our relationship," Scooby replied.
Louis let out a sigh of relief.
"There's enough antidot for the whole town," Shaggy said.
"We've got a great look for everyone," Daphne informed.
"Does mine involve wearing a skirt and lipstick?" Shaggy asked.
"No," Daphne answered.
"Awesome," Shaggy replied.
"But Scooby's does," Daphne added.
"Not fair," Scooby complained.
"It's okay,Scoob," Louis reassured.
"Louis,you'll be Scooby's Baby,"Fred warned.
As Louis gave Fred a weird look.
At City Hall.
Everyone chanted love.
As the people carried her to the throne they made for her.
And some applauded, she waved.
"Looking great,gals, in a moment I will signal you and you will place this crown on our new Queen of Crystal Cove," Mayor Jones explained.
Shaggy and Velma appeared in their outfits and so did Fred and Daphne.
Scooby walked in with his dress on and Pericles was disguised as part of Scooby's hat,Louis was in Scooby's dress to make him appear pregnant.
"This is so humiliating, my head is like squished against your chest, couldn't this dress have been a little less tight," Louis stated
"It's okay,don't worry,this is just for the plan, than you can get out,and if it wasn't this tight you would probably fall out," Scooby reassured
"Yeah,you're right," Louis agreed.
Fred and Daphne looked around as he climbed a Ladder.
Angel walked in with a Crib.
She stopped at Velma and Shaggy.
The Fire Extinguishers were in there, Shaggy and Velma both grabbed one.
Shaggy hid his in his suit.
The People set her down and she walked to her throne.
Fred was on a high platform preparing the trap.
"Okay,let's see, Choice Bridge Clamp,Check,Articulating Gibble Arm,Check," Fred muttered.
"All this for me,you shouldn't have," Aphrodite said.
"Before we begin the Official Ceremonies I want to remind everyone that you'll find one of a kind,Stay In the Love T-Shirts,Pins, and Caps for sale in the Lobby," Mayor Jones announced.
"Enough,My Crown," Aphrodite demanded.
Angel threw the last three at Daphne,Scooby, and Velma.
As they prepared to fire, they began to place the Crown on her head.
"After Long last, I will have what I deserve," Aphrodite cheered.
"Now," Fred commanded.
As they sprayed everyone,Everyone snapped out of it and turned away from each other in dislike.
"You Idiots,Stop them," Aphrodite ordered.
They then sprayed the people on Stage too.
Whwn they did, they dropped the Crown.
"My Crown,no," She replied as she ran after it.
Fred finally pulled the Trap,trapping her in a tight bind.
"I am the Goddess of Love,bow at the feet of Aphrodite," Aphrodite demanded.
"I think you mean,Amanda," Velma corrected.
"Amanda Smythe," Velma announced.
Louis finally stuck his head out of the Bodice of the dress.
He breathed out a sigh of relief.
"Finally,I can breathe," Louis commented.
"See," Scooby added.
"Oh,you think you're so smart, Do you know how it feels to be humiliated? Me, the smartest and most gifted student in the History of Crystal Cove,laughed at by everyone in this school," Amanda responded.
"Well,actually," Velma tried to say.
"You know nothing,they had promised me I'd be Prom Queen, but, instead they pulled a Hideous Mask over my face,the face of a Monster,they ridiculed me,I left Crystal Cove that night, but I promised someday I would return,I had always been good at Chemistry,so when I stumbled on the Formula for an artificial Pheromone that could make people lose their minds with love, I knew I would have my revenge," Amanda eludicated.
"Why? You're pretty now," Daphne questioned.
"The scars run deep, I would reclaim the crown that was rightfully mine,then I would destroy this town the way it destroyed me,my plan was genius, and I would have suceeded too, if it wasn't for you ol-factory challenged Sidekicks," Amanda answered.
"I am no one's sidekick," Pericles commented.
"You said it," Scooby and Louis said
"Amigo," Louis finished as he smiled at Pericles.
Later that night.
"Well,Scooby-Doo, like,you saved the day," Shaggy mentioned.
"Hey,I did too," Louis mumbled.
"And you too,Louis," Fred added.
Louis smiled hearing that.
"And Pericles too," Scooby finished.
"I guess even a diabolical criminal bird can change his evil and malevolent ways," Daphne agreed.
"Highly doubtful," a voice added.
"Who? Who are you?" Scooby and Shaggy asked.
"I am an associate of Mr. E, Pericles left him a message that you should hear," Ed Machine warned.
"It was I who gave Aphrodite the secret formula,once that was accomplished, I could go after the real ingredients I needed to find,first an ancient Conquistador's Ship Manifest,next a stone piercing industrial grade Diamond Drill Bit, and finally, the Geological Reports from the Darrow Mining Company,your move,Mr. E," Pericles explained.
"Okay, can I get a teeny timeout here? What does any of that stuff have to do with anything?" Shaggy wondered.
"The Curse of the Haunted Treasure, an ancient fortune left behind by the Conquistadors that first settled this Area,Legend has it, that it is buried somewhere deep beneath us, and it now appears that Pericles is on the verge of discovering it," Ed said.
As they all gasped.
"That doesn't sound good," Louis stated.
"And if he does, it could well mean the end of Crystal Cove," Ed finished as he left.
The Gang stood shocked.
Later on that night.
Louis was at the Cemetery by himself.
"They're gone,you're clear to come out now," Louis warned.
"Good," Ed replied.
"Mr. E is coming after me soon, isn't he? I have that feeling, How long do I have?" Louis asked.
"Yes, it is very soon, I can't give you an exact date but I can say this, He'll do it when you least expect it,You going to tell the Dog?" Ed responded.
"No, he doesn't need to know, this is my business, besides, like he'll believe me anyway, they haven't so much as seen Mr. E, I have," Louis answered.
After that Louis had the Gang drop him off at Angel's for a few minutes.
He walked into her Private Room she made for them to talk.
"Angel, I don't know how long I can keep this Secret, this is getting hard" Louis informed.
"I know,but you have to ,for me ,baby," Angel reminded.
"I'll try but it's getting harder and harder, specifically for me to lie to Scooby, he's my best friend, and not telling him everything seems like betrayal, I don't want to keep lying to him," Louis notified.
"Don't worry, they'll know,soon enough," Angel replied.
"I'm trusting you,Angel, don't let me down," Louis ordered as he began to leave.
He got back in the Van.
"Everything okay?" Scooby wondered.
"Yeah," Louis replied.
"You sure?" Scooby questioned.
"Yeah, you are driving to all these locations, you seem kind of busy," Fred said.
"Like,yeah, What is it?" Shaggy asked.
"You don't have to tell us if you don't want to," Daphne reassured.
"Yeah, it really isn't any of our business, besides, we owe you tonight,you saved our lives, so the least we can do is drive around," Velma added.
After that, The Gang drove to Shaggy and Scooby's House.
"See ya guys," Fred announced.
"See ya," Scooby and Louis answered in unison
Shaggy had decided to go with Velma somewhere so he didn't leave the Van.
The Duo were walking towards the door when Scooby noticed something wrong.
"Are you okay?" Scooby asked.
"No, I fell for the lies that Pericles said, I got tricked and it doesn't feel good, I feel dumb, I actually believed he had turned good, I even called him my friend," Louis explained.
"You're not stupid, I fell for it too, this isn't your fault," Scooby reassured.
Louis stopped and thought back to the secret things he had done tonight and every other night.
He was keeping quite a few secrets from the Gang so he kind of deserved it, he thought.
"You're right, thanks bud," Louis thanked putting on a smile.
Scooby could still tell something was up but he knew he'd tell him in time.
"No problem,No Secrets,Right?" Scooby wondered.
"No Secrets," Louis repeated.
As Scooby went inside first, Louis frowned.
He knew he wasn't telling Scooby everything and it didn't feel nice but he would continue anyway.
No matter what Scooby would do next.
He had a feeling that if Scooby figured it out he might not be happy, not to mention, he might not want to be friends anymore.
He didn't want to even think about a thing like that.
Louis rolled to the bathroom to get washed and ready for the night.
While Louis was in the Bathroom, Scooby was in His and Louis's room.
The two had decided to share a Guest Bedroom since Shaggy's room wasn't big enough for the both of them.
Scooby looked around the room in boredom.
He saw Louis's Diary sitting on top of the desk.
He thought, Why not read it?
He didn't have much else to do anyway.
Scooby looked in it, and saw he had started writing in it when he met the Gang.
"June 16, 2010, I came into the Town of Crystal Cove, when I did Four Kids and A Dog,appeared, I like the Dog,already, and not just cause I liked Dogs, but I just have a good feeling about him, that and he looked after me a lot, although, he says it's too early to become Friends, but I know there is hope for us yet," Scooby read.
Scooby turned the Page to the Next Mystery they did together.
"June 20,2010, We went to the town of Gatorsburg to investigate,poor Scooby had to sleep outside, I think he might be in trouble but don't know, I hope this Hotel doesn't turn out to be a mistake," Scooby continued reading.
He started skipping pages, he would probably read them another time but he knew he wouldn't be in the bathroom forever.
He saw a Picture and looked at it.
It was from when Scooby took him for a ride on the Motorcycle, he rented, he drawn a picture of him and Scooby riding.
Scoby smiled and continued on but that smile soon turned upside down.
The Next Page said, Secrets (Read at Your Own Risk).
Scooby looked around to see if Louis was coming out or not.
Scooby turned back to the book.
The next page he found disturbing.
It was Mr. E having Louis cornered and Mr. E had a knife in his hand, he was ready to kill him.
Scooby gave a concerned but scared look.
What was Louis getting into? He wondered in his head.
He continued speeding through pages till he found the recent date.
"July 6, 2010, We solved the Mystery of the Wild Brood a few weeks back but things have been slow.
Sometimes I wonder if Scooby has been getting distant, I mean, He is always asking if I don't want to be friends anymore, it worries me that he might not want to, but I hope not, these secrets I'm keeping, it makes me nervous, not to mention,makes me feel like I am betraying him, sometimes, I wonder if he deserves better friends, but these Secrets are just making things worse," Scooby read.
Now he was beginning to question his friend, What is he hiding? What is he mixed up in? He questioned over and over in his head.
Finally, he just shook it off.\
No, he thought, This was his best friend he was talking about he could trust him.
He should not have even been in that Diary it was none of his business.
He laid down on the bed waiting for Louis to get out.
Right then, Louis got out and rolled into their room.
"Hey, your turn," Louis informed.
"Oh,yeah,of course," Scooby responded.
He nervously passed by Louis with an awkward smile as he went into the bathroom shutting the door behind him.
Right when,Scooby passed by him, he felt something off, like he knew something he wasn't telling him.
And why was he avoiding him? What did he do?
He then saw his Diary out of place.
"No,he didn't,he wouldn't," Louis murmured to himself.
He looked on the cover and sure enough there was a Paw Print on the Cover of the Diary.
"He did," A familiar voice stated.
Louis turned to where he heard it.
"Hello,Child," Pericles said.
"Pericles, you have some nerve coming back here, after what you did," Louis lashed out angrily.
"You mean tricking you,yes, it was quite easy, too easy, in fact, come one, you really think I'll fall for the innocent boy act, well, I won't, you see, deep down you knew I wasn't but, you had that in your mind what you wanted and it was for me to turn good, I know how much you love animals," Pericles explained.
"That's not true," Louis shot back.
"It's not, oh, but it is, you wanted it so badly, you made yourself think it, but that's not why I'm here, I'm here, cause it seems Friends have turned against Friends," Pericles added.
"He didn't do anything, he is innocent," Louis declared.
"Oh, I highly doubt that, besides, I think you know, that the Paw Print on your cover is his, no one else is in the room, my my, what a horrible friend he is," Pericles commented.
"Shut up," Louis demanded.
"Oh,but I am already done, I'm helping you realize something, maybe, that means there is hope for me after all," Pericles stated.
Louis tried to grab him but he clawed Louis right in the cheek.
"Ah,oopsy, my mistake," Pericles whispered as he began to fly away.
Louis took the part of Pericles's Talon out of his cheek.
"What about the piece of your talon?" Louis wondered.
"Keep it, it can serve as a reminder, of which side you are on, and who actually cares about you, cause honestly, your family is known for one thing and it's betrayal, almost every member of your family has betrayed someone," Pericles warned.
"Who hasn't?" Louis questioned.
"You, you are the only one that hasn't but that might not be the case for long, now I must leave,Auf Wiedersehen,Louis, we will meet again,next time," Pericles announced as he flew away.
Louis looked out the window thinking all the things Pericles said got him thinking.
As He watched the Bird disappear into the Night Sky.
Scooby finally came out.
"Well, I'm done, I have officially changed into my PJs for the night, and I washed my paws so you don't have to smell them in the middle of the night," Scooby informed.
Louis turned to him in tears.
"What's wrong?" Scooby asked.
"I'm so confused about what to think right now," Louis shouted.
"Aw,come here,Louis," Scooby requested.
Louis rolled over to the bed.
Scooby picked him up and hugged him to comfort him.
"It's okay," Scooby reassured as he held him.
"It's just too much, I don't know how much longer I can take it," Louis cried.
"It's okay,Louis, it's over,whatever happened is over," Scooby comforted.
Louis continued crying.
As Scooby rested his chin on Louis's head.
