It was Early in the Day at Sea.
Two Fisherman were fishing.
The Captain was watching while the other pulled the net up.
"Let's hope Old Neptune has been kind to us this time, Huh? Salty Scallops, Empty Again,I hate to say it but our only choice now is,Dead Man's Point," The Captain explained before realizing they were coming up empty.
The other gasped.
"But isn't Dead Man's Point haunted?" He questioned.
"Aye,it is what they say and we probably won't come back alive, but don't forget, We're Fishermen,we do stupid things all the time," the Captain reminded.
The Other Fisherman gulped in fear.
At Dead Man's Point, the Clouds rolled in when they got there and so did the fog.
"This Fog is thicker than Sea Poop,always slays me,Sea Poop," The Captain commented as he laughed.
When they brought the net up,they got something.
"Now that's more like it," The Captain added as he suddenly heard something swim past them.
He looked behind him and saw nothing.
They swam below the boat.
The other Fisherman whimpered.
"What in the World? The Captain wondered.
A strange Creature's Claw cut the Net as it fell back into the water.
The Buoys went overboard making the younger Fisherman slip.
The same creatures popped their heads out of the water revealing them to be Sea Creatures.
They went back to back as they looked around.
The Fish Creatures jumped out of the water at them.
They roared at them.
The Fisherman tried to run but one appeared in front of them.
"The Legend is true,Fish Freaks," The Younger Fisherman announced.
The Fish Creatures backed them up as one came up from the roof.
They ran ahead where another popped up from the bottom deck.
It roared as they surrounded them.
"We're doomed," the Captain yelled.
They screamed as they were taken.
At the Crystal Cove Spook Museum,later.
Daphne and Fred were there together.
"I love the Haunted Museum when it's empty,it reminds me so much of us," Daphne mentioned as she leaned on him.
"Me too,Daph," Fred agreed.
"Oh,look Flim Flam," She announced.
He looked at it happily.
"Remember him? Freddy," Daphne wondered.
"You forget,I was away that year,I spent the summer tied up at Trapping Camp,Heh, Get it? Tied up, Trapping Camp," Fred reminded as he made a joke.
"Oh,so tragic,25 to life a long stretch even for a preteen con artist," Daphne added.
She looked at what was next to him.
It was Scrappy-Doo, Scooby's obnoxious Nephew.
"Wow,I haven't seen," Daphne was about to say.
"Look away,Daphne,we all promised each other,we would never speak of him,not ever," Fred commanded as he pulled her away.
At The Bloody Stake.
It was All You Can Eat Gorge Night.
Scooby had taken Louis out with him and Shaggy,cause of him being his Bodyguard of course.
"The Manager says this is the last Main Course Platter for you guys," The Waitress notified.
"But,Like,this is your All You Can Gorge Night,you have to keep feeding us," Shaggy warned.
The Waitress looked at Louis.
"Don't look at me,I don't eat as much as them,I have a small appetite," Louis informed.
"Yeah,They're right," Scooby agreed to both Shaggy and Louis's statement.
"All You Can Gorge, only applies to Amateur Diners,like him,you guys are pros," She said.
"Ouch,I didn't know I was Amateur," Louis mumbled.
"You aren't," Scooby replied messing up Louis's hair playfully.
"Well,She's got us there,Scoob,You want to know how we do it? Miss Vampire Waitress," Shaggy stated.
"I'll bite," She responded.
"Like,we call it," Shaggy was about to say.
"They call it,the All Gulp No Air Eating technique" Louis added.
"Wow,you know me well," Scooby answered.
"I should,we have been friends for three months," Louis pointed out.
"Hey,I was going to say that,anyway, by building our lung capacity we can hold our breath and literally inhale as much food as we want,Show her,Scooby-Doo," Shaggy explained as he put his arm around her.
Scooby made a big inhale as he puffed out his chest.
Scooby grabbed things as quickly as he ate them.
As Scooby ate almost everything on the table,the Waitress watched in shock.
"You two have way too much free time," She complained.
Scooby looked at Louis's plate and noticed he left part of his food.
"Can I eat your leftovers?"Scooby requested.
"Sure,if you want to share spit," Louis stated.
Scooby quickly ate it.
"Apparently you do," Louis mumbled.
"Eh,It really isn't the first time we have shared spit," Scooby mentioned.
"When was the first?" Louis questioned.
"Oh,when I used your Toothbrush,the second, when I drank from your straw,third when I spit my food out into your mouth to get you to eat and the third, when we kissed,and well,the one now," Scooby eludicated.
"Well,I don't think the kiss counts," Louis informed.
"It does cause we both lick our lips," Scooby added.
"We have spent way too much time together,and most of those I didn't even know about," Louis said.
"Are you upset?" Scooby wondered.
"No,I don't mind just ask for those next time,except for the kiss,that I knew about,and I hope to not duplicate,besides,I think it was CPR," Louis replied.
Scooby smiled.
At Velma's House.
She was all alone.
"Hey,out there,Mystery Lovers,Velma here,no Mysteries to report,just another friday night,I'm by myself as usual,and, you know what? That's okay, What's so bad about sitting in your room alone on a Friday Night," Velma explained as she got angry and broke the Keyboard.
She went and grabbed a spare.
Suddenly,she got a new email.
"Watch it be from Louis,he is always so talkative,even know he isn't on my friends list," Velma commented.
She opened it and was surprised that it wasn't him.
Even though he had never talked to her before,because he asked if she wanted to be friends online and she said no.
He tended to respect her decision even though he wants to be friends with her.
"Dear, Mystery Incorporated, Have you looked into the Case of the Missing Sardine Boat that disappeared off Dead Man's Point? I think it might have something to do with the Haunted Oil Platform in the Area, Signed,Anonymous," She read.
She got excited.
"Jinkies, a Mystery!" She cheered.
She picked up her phone and dialed Daphne.
"Hello, Daphne? Velma,just got a tip on our Web Page,Apparently, a Sardine Boat disappeared, What? Well,I guess it can wait,yes,I know you're in love with Fred," She said.
She hung up.
She was furious.
"Velma, I'm so in love," Velma mimicked as she stuck her tongue out in disgust.
She dialed somebody else.
"Scooby? Velma, Put Shaggy on," Velma ordered.
"Why not me? Scooby questioned at the Bloody Stake at the Table.
Louis sat beside him.
"Because you're almost impossible to understand on a phone," Velma answered.
Scooby frowned as he gave the Phone to Shaggy.
"Am I impossible to understand on a Phone?" Scooby asked Louis in a low voice.
"No,I can understand you all the time,no matter how you talk," Louis responded.
"Aw,thanks,Louis," Scooby thanked.
Louis patted Scooby's head as Scooby's tail wagged.
"Shaggy? Velma, I've got a Mystery for us,this boat disappeared, What do you mean you can't come? Dessert? But you can have Jellied Eyeball Cobbler,any," She was about to warn.
All of a sudden he hung up.
"Hello? Hello? He hung up on me," Velma complained.
"They don't want to help me,fine,I'll do it myself," She said.
That was when,her phone rang.
It was Shaggy she answered.
"Hey,Velma,It's me,Louis,I'll join you,I'll meet you at the Docks,sound good?" Louis notified.
"Sounds good,looks like it's just you and me," Velma stated.
"I guess so,meet me there," Louis requested.
"You know it," Velma agreed as she hung up.
Louis got his Wheelchair off of park and was about to roll away.
When Scooby stopped him.
"Why do you have to go? Scooby questioned.
"Because everyone else probably refused,so I am going," Louis responded as he started rolling away.
"Maybe I should go with you," Scooby suggested as he followed him.
"No need,I'll be with Velma," Louis informed.
"Still,you know,you'll get hurt without me,you always do,you can't handle yourself without me,you are nobody without me," Scooby explained.
Louis stopped rolling away.
What Scooby just said,offended him.
"Excuse me," Louis retorted.
"That came out wrong," Scooby stated.
"You bet it came out wrong,I am not nothing without you,Scooby-Doo,I can take care of myself," Louis lashed out angrily.
"That has seemed to work out swell,the past few weeks,"Scooby commented.
"Oh,so now I know what you truly think,thanks for the update,Scoob,I needed it," Louis replied.
"You know what I mean,Louis," Scooby said.
"No,I do not,I'm afraid,have fun eating dessert with Shaggy,thanks for the meal,I'm leaving," Louis answered.
He rolled outside.
"Louis,Louis,wait,come back,Louis," Scooby called out.
Louis ignored him and continued rolling.
Scooby sighed as he went back inside.
Later,they both had arrived on a boat and taken it to sea.
"And then I just left," Louis finished.
"Yes,I am with you,on that one,he is being a jerk," Velma agreed.
"Thank you," Louis thanked.
"No problem,I hope Daphne doesn't mind us borrowing her family's expensive boat," Velma mentioned.
"I am sure,she won't mind,we are friends after all," Louis commented.
"Great," Velma complained.
"What?" Louis asked.
"It's gonna be impossible,to find any clues in this fog," Velma responded.
"Wonderful,Can this day get any worse?" Louis questioned
Suddenly,they both heard a song as they both gasped in shock.
"My Song fills your heart,From the Depths of the Sea,Please Listen and Learn,All you can learn from me," Someone sang.
They heard her humming and looked around the boat.
"Uh,Who's there?" Velma wondered.
"Anyone human?" Louis questioned.
They both had said it in a scared tone.
They could see nothing and it was creeping them out.
"A Friend,Velma," The Voice warned.
"How do you know my name?" Velma asked.
"You don't know mine,I presume," Louis added.
"Louis," The Voice guessed.
"Okay,she does,I'm freaked out," Louis stated as he hid behind Velma.
"I know much about you and Mystery Incorporated,for example,I know you struggle with being smarter than everyone,think that you have a neck waddle which is why you always wear a turtleneck,you were dumped by your boyfriend for a dog," The Voice explained.
"Blech,the worst dog in history," Louis added.
"Okay,you know me, What about Louis? Smart Aleck," Velma commented.
"Louis,an eight year old boy who moved here a month or so ago,with his Grandmother,who happens to be best friends with the same dog,but is mad at him,is nervous trying to fit in with the group and just wants to feel included," She eludicated.
"Good to know," Velma said.
"She knows us both," Louis shouted.
All of a sudden,they heard something swim next to the boat.
When they looked,they saw a Mermaid.
She lifted her tail to show them.
"A Mermaid?" Velma wondered.
"I am the source of the anonymous tip that brought you out here," She replied.
"Merfolk have the internet?"Velma questioned.
"I didn't think tech would work down there," Louis pointed out.
"Wait,What am I saying? This is biologically impossible," Velma warned.
"Please Velma,Louis,I have nowhere else to turn, I'm all alone,I think you two can understand that," She said.
"I understood before you pulled us into it," Louis informed getting angry at what she pointed out.
"Crystal Cove is in danger,they're coming for me,Run,Velma,Louis or they'll get you too," She explained.
"Who?" Louis asked.
"Wait,we don't even know your name," Velma mentioned as she got on her knees.
"It's Amy,I'm a friend,Velma,Louis,you have to trust me," She responded as she swam away.
"Well,she's gone,that was weird," Louis stated.
Velma stood up and went to start the boat.
However,it wouldn't start.
Velma kept trying.
Louis was still near the water.
A Hand emerged from the water.
Louis saw it.
It growled.
"Velma," Louis called in a scared tone.
She kept trying.
"Velma," Louis continued trying to call.
"Velma," Louis shouted as he rolled up to her.
"What?" She asked.
He motioned for her to turn around.
She gasped as she saw a Fish Freak.
It roared as she started the boat.
When she drove it fell off the boat.
"Go,go,go," Louis commanded.
She made a sharp turn away from the other ones coming.
Louis let out a sigh of relief.
Velma looked back.
All of a sudden,one jumped on the window.
Velma and Louis screamed as it broke the glass.
Louis punched it and Velma hit the brake making it stop and fall back into the Sea.
More Came from behind as she started driving again.
They both whimpered as they drove.
She drove super fast as they got away.
The Fish Creatures stopped and swam away.
The Next Day in the Mystery Machine.
"A Haunted Oil Platform,A Missing Sardine Boat,Fish Freaks? That's really scary," Daphne said.
"Tell me about it," Scooby agreed.
"Why would I tell you?" Louis murmured.
"Yeah,like,if I wore boots,I'd be shaking in them," Shaggy pointed out.
"Mr. E's usually the only one we get tips from,this could be some kind of trap,you have no idea who the tipster is, Velma?" Fred wondered.
"Uh,no,none," Velma replied.
"Wait,but I that's not true,we saw" Louis was about to say.
Velma covered his mouth.
She nodded her head no.
"Oh," He mumbled.
"Hopefully,Skipper Shelton can clues us in on all that other stuff," Velma responded.
At Skipper Shelton's.
They all sat at the Table to hear what he had to say.
"A Missing Sardine Boat,eh,well,the only one that fishes these waters is run by me brother, Skipper Shelton," Skipper replied.
"There are two Skipper Sheltons? Fred wondered.
"Besides meself,there are five Skipper Sheltons,all siblings of mine,a sardiner,a shrimper,a manta-rayer,a kelper,and a Sea Dragoner," Skipper explained.
"Eek,that is way too many with the same name,"Louis commented.
"Though we don't talk about the Sea Dragoner,Right? Wolfie," Skipper added.
As Skipper laughed, Scooby laughed.
Scooby put his paw in front of his mouth.
"I have no idea what he's talking about," Scooby whispered to Louis.
Louis rolled his eyes as he rolled away from him and rolled to near Velma.
Scooby's head hanged down in disappointment.
He sighed.
"As far as Haunted Oil Platforms and Fish Freaks go,ha,that's a bunch of crazy Sea Tales," Skipper warned.
"But," Velma tried to say.
Skipper interrupted her before she could say it.
Louis just told her to let it go.
"The Next thing you'll be telling me is that Mermaids really exist," Skipper stated as he laughed.
They all started laughing except Velma and Louis.
"We wouldn't go that far," Fred said.
That Night when they drove away,he waved.
After that,he went inside to close up shop.
The Fish Creatures came out of the Water.
Skipper had no idea,he grabbed A Clam and started to cut it open.
"Haunted Oil Platforms and Fish Freaks? What will those crazy kids come up with next?" Skipper wondered.
When he was about to cut another one open,he saw one of the Fish Freaks pass by the window from his door.
"What in the Seven Seas is making that racket?" He asked.
He grabbed his Flashlight and went outside to check it out.
He shined his Flashlight on the Sand.
What he didn't know was that,one was on the Roof.
Skipper quickly caught on.
He shined his Flashlight on the Roof.
It roared at him.
At Velma's place.
Louis and Velma were there.
"I am glad we didn't tell them,they probably would have laughed at us," Louis stated
"Come on,Where are you? Velma whispered.
They heard a knock on the window.
When they looked,it was a familiar face.
"Amy," They called.
Velma ran over to the Window and opened it.
"How did you get here all the way from the ocean?" Velma asked as she held up the Window.
Louis helped pull Amy onto the Window Sill.
"It wasn't easy,the last few yards the neighborhood cats were stalking me something fierce," Amy explained as she put her tail over the Window Sill.
Velma and Louis tried to get her off as she fell on them.
A Beep came from Velma's Computer.
"One Second? Amy, I gotta log off,see you all later,a special friend just stopped by for a visit,LOL," Velma said.
"That was cool how you made it all the way here by yourself," Louis complemented.
"Thank you," Amy thanked.
"Wow,you came all this way to see me?" Velma wondered.
"Yes,the both of you, I had to come,Skipper Shelton has been taken by the Fish Freaks," Amy warned.
"What?But we just left him," They replied together.
"I think they're headed for the Oil Platform," Amy informed.
"Can you lead us all the way out there?" Velma questioned.
"We could really use your help," Louis offered.
"Sure,I guess," Amy agreed.
"Great,I'll call the Gang," Velma announced.
Suddenly, they heard a knock at the door.
"Velma,it's mom,open up,honey,I want to meet your special friend," Angie warned.
"Uh,What special Friend?" Velma lied.
"The One you just wrote about on your blog," Angie responded.
"Mom,you're so nosy," Velma complained.
Angie tried to turn the knob bus still couldn't get in.
"Velma Dinkley, you open the door this instant," Angie demanded as she banged on the door.
"Uh, How am I going to explain a mermaid in my room?" Velma questioned.
"Uh,me and Scooby are in here,Right Scooby?" Louis lied.
Velma waved her hands to telling him to stop and that Scooby wasn't there.
He mouthed for her to hide Amy while he stalled for time.
"That's right," Louis agreed in Scooby's Voice.
Velma's mouth hanged open.
It was exactly like his voice,it was a perfect repleca.
She picked her up and put her in the Bathtub.
She closed the door.
"Yep,the whole Gang is in here," Velma lied.
"Velma Dinkley,I know they are not all in there," Angie stated.
She unlocked it and came in.
"Good thing I have this key I use to snoop around your room while you're not here,oh dear,Did I say that out loud?" Angie notified.
"I'm afraid so,"Louis responded.
"Hey,What happened to Scooby?" Angie asked.
"Well,he hid when you came in,you scared him," Louis informed.
"Oops," Angie muttered.
"You have no respect for my privacy," Velma complained.
"Uh, of course I don't,you're a teenager," Angie warned as she looked around.
Louis gulped nervously.
Velma put her hands on her hips.
Angie heard a crash from the Bathroom.
She got curious and went towards the Bathroom.
"I told you there's no one here,besides,me,Louis,and Scooby," Velma lied as she blocked the door.
Angie moved Velma out of the way and looked in the Bathroom.
It was empty.
"See,I told you," Velma replied.
Angie continued to look around.
Louis knew what to do.
He jumped off his wheelchair and onto the Floor.
It got Angie's attention.
She bent down to him.
"Are you okay?" Angie wondered.
"Yeah,I think Scooby just left," Louis lied.
"Oh,alright," Angie agreed as she left.
"How did you do his voice so perfectly?" Velma questioned.
"I guess,I have hanged out with him enough,to mimic his voice,I don't know," Louis guessed.
"Good job," Velma complemented.
"Thanks,I still don't like him though,we should probably get going," Louis added
At K Ghouls.
"Well,your anonymous tip checks out,Velma,Skipper Shelton is nowhere to be found," Fred said.
"You know babies,I was wondering if this Haunted Oil Platform is the same one that used to be owned back in the day by Destroido," Angel mentioned.
"Be careful what you are saying," Louis informed mouthing to Angel.
"I am being careful,trust me," Angel reassured mouthing back.
"The Company with all those terrible products? Daphne asked.
"That's the one,they were going to start pumping Oil awhile back, until some Scientist Dude shut them down over some,uh,environmental,heebedy jeebedy stuff," Angel agreed.
"When was this? Fred wondered.
"About 20 Years back," Angel replied.
"I didn't know you lived here that long ago," Velma stated.
Angel stood silent for a sec to think.
Louis did a facepalm.
She had to start being more careful if they were to keep this secret.
Scooby noticed Louis not looking.
He scooted over to his side.
He licked Louis's cheek.
Louis looked to Scooby.
Scooby quickly looked the other way and whistled inconspicuously.
Louis ignored it and turned back to Angel.
Scooby scooted closer.
He scooted to where they had no personal space,he was like right on top of him.
"I didn't,but, baby, I've always been interested in the environmental heebedy jeebedy stuff,this story was real big back in the day,in all the papers," Angel lied.
Whoa,like,check this out,you guys," Shaggy ordered.
"What is it? Shag," Louis wondered as he moved closer to Shaggy to see what he was talking about.
Scooby moved closer to him again and leaned onto Louis.
Louis was so interested in what Shaggy was trying to say.
He didn't pay attention to Scooby leaning on him.
Scooby even went and licked Louis's nose and he didn't notice.
"Yes," Scooby mumbled.
He put his Arms around Louis,put his head on Louis's arm and paid attention to what Shaggy was saying.
"It's about Destroido," Louis added.
"Yeah,they are having a Press Conference tomorrow," Shaggy warned.
"Might be worth paying them a visit," Angel commented.
After Angel was done talking,Louis turned to Scooby who was still hanging off of him.
He glared at him.
Scooby let go.
He chuckled nervously as he scratched the back of his neck.
At Destroido Corp.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, of the Press, and smelly activist in need of a shower,Destroido is proud to announce our newest product,guaranteed to be a hot seller until we start getting sued,Gummy Dummies,fortified with extra lead,Gummy Dummies,the Candy designed to inhibit Brain Function,so you can relax in blissful ignorance,it comes in Cherry,Lime, and Pork," Ed Machine, the CEO of Destroido announced.
"Mm,Pork," Shaggy and Scooby commented.
Scooby put his paw on Louis's Shoulder hoping for him not to notice.
He noticed.
He slapped Scooby's paw off.
Scooby winced at the slap.
"What a terrible product," Daphne said as she grimaced in disgust.
"That's Destroido for you," Velma informed.
"I don't have any time for stupid questions,so grab some free samples and get lost," Ed demanded.
Scooby and Shaggy ran over to the Free Samples.
Louis grabbed Scooby by his Collar stopping him.
He continued trying to go to them.
That is,till he noticed they weren't going anywhere.
He looked to see Louis stopping him.
"Don't eat those,they could hurt you and ruin your brain," Louis notified.
"I thought you didn't care," Scooby reminded.
Louis stopped.
"I mean,go get some see if I care," Louis rephrased as he turned away from Scooby,closed his eyes and stuck up his nose.
Scooby ran over to the Samples and started eating them.
Louis turned back to Scooby with one eye open.
He looked away again and looked back.
Why was it so hard to hate him? He thought.
Scooby happened to look that way seeing Louis looking.
Louis noticed and turned away blushing of embarrassment.
Scooby would never take him seriously now.
Scooby smiled,he now had proof Louis still cared and still somewhat likes him.
He decided to stop eating it and take his advice.
He walked away from the Samples and sat down beside Louis.
On the inside,Louis was smiling too.
"Mr. Machine, we'd like permission to go out to your abandoned Oil Platform for... Research Purposes," Velma warned.
"And I'd like to have a polka-dot princess pony but Mommy won't get me one,now beat it before I have you arrested for trespassing," Ed responded being sarcastic and rude.
The Teens were speechless.
"Nice guy, Isn't he?" Ernesto commented.
"Ernesto," Daphne announced.
"Hello again,Comrade Daphne,we have missed you on the Front Lines in our fight to take down the man," Ernesto replied.
"Gang,you remember my radical idealist friend,Ernesto from Darrow College?" Daphne wondered.
"Yeah,hey,nice beret,What size is your head? I'm a 7 and 3/4 but I've got a Head Dimple in the back that makes it almost impossible to get a good snug fit,Heh?" Fred explained.
Louis and Scooby walked and rolled over.
"So... Dude, Like,What brings you here besides obvious Evil?" Shaggy questioned.
"We are here to protect Gaia,Mother Earth from despotic Corporate Overlords like Destroido,Go Gaia," Ernesto answered.
"Go Gaia," His People repeated.
"Yeah,well,good luck with that," Velma retorted.
"Come on guys, We tried the nice way,now we try the Rebellious Way," Louis ordered.
"I like your style," Ernesto complemented.
"Thank you," Louis thanked.
"I'm with Louis,just because,Ed Machine,said,No,doesn't mean we have to listen to him," Velma agreed.
As the Gang followed her out.
Later,the Team was on Daphne's Father's Boat.
"I don't remember Daddy's little Boat being so dinged up," Daphne mentioned.
Louis was trying to get his Life Vest on.
"Here let me help," Scooby offered.
"No thanks," Louis disagreed.
He rolled over on the boat to Shaggy.
"Hey Louis," Shaggy said.
"Hey,Could you help me with my Life Vest," Louis requested.
"Sure," Shaggy agreed.
He helped him.
Scooby closed his eyes in hurt.
He went to the end of the Boat.
He looked and saw something.
"Look over there," Scooby notified.
Louis rolled over to the end and saw it.
"I think that's it," Louis yelled.
"Way to go,Scooby and Louis, I knew we would find it eventually," Fred complemented.
"Thanks," Scooby and Louis thanked in unison.
Louis did a facepalm when he did he did it with Scooby's paw.
Louis screamed noticing what it was.
Scooby gave him a confident smile,indicating what he was saying.
He was pretty much saying,see, you can't stand being without me,with his mind.
"Hit me now," Louis muttered to himself.
"Okay," Scooby responded.
He balled up his paw.
"Wait,wait,I didn't mean literally," Louis informed.
Scooby hit his paw into Louis's eye.
Louis screamed as he went overboard.
"Uh oh,Oops," Scooby whispered.
He grabbed Louis's hands and pulled him out of the water.
He put Louis on him and put his arms around him to warm him up.
Louis was angry and instantly rejected it.
"Get away from me," Louis demanded pushing Scooby away.
"I'm sorry,but I saved you," Scooby apologized.
"After being the one who caused it," Louis pointed out.
He crawled across the floor as he crawled to his Wheelchair.
He climbed onto the Wheel Chair and began to roll away.
"Louis," Scooby called.
"Just stay away,Scooby,you'll do more harm than good," Louis commanded.
That hurt Scooby,he turned away and was very tempted to cry.
Louis rolled over to Velma.
Fred made a sharp turn.
Finally,they arrived at the Oil Platform.
The Place was trashed and creaky.
The Gang got up.
When it came time to get Scooby up,Louis was the closest.
He grabbed Scooby's paws and pulled him up.
He noticed how upset Scooby was.
He did overreact,too much,now he hurt his best friend.
What was he doing? He though to himself.
They walked through the Platform.
"Scooby,I am sorry," Louis apologized.
"It's fine," Scooby responded as he sniffled.
Louis turned Scooby around.
Scooby had been crying.
Louis put his hands on Scooby's cheeks.
He held his face up to his.
"I am so sorry, I have been such a jerk,I should never have let it get this far," Louis apologized.
He hugged Scooby's face and he hugged it tightly.
"I don't deserve your friendship," Louis stated as he now began to cry.
Scooby wanted to forgive him and he was going to.
However,he really couldn't with Louis hugging his face.
"Uh, Can I have my face back?" Scooby requested muffledly.
"Oh,sure,sorry," Louis apologized again.
"Stop apologizing,I forgive you," Scooby replied as he put his paws across Louis's cheeks to wipe away the Tears.
Scooby nuzzled Louis's neck.
"Ah, thank you,Scooby,thank you,thank you," Louis thanked getting all excited.
He got so excited,he hugged Scooby's face again.
"Uh,Louis,need face back," Scooby reminded.
"Oh,sorry,sorry," Louis apologized again.
"Louis stop apologizing," Scooby ordered.
Louis was about to apologize again until Scooby stopped him.
He put his finger to Louis's lips to stop him.
"No need to apologize,it's fine," Scooby warned.
"Good,now that the Love Fest is over,come on," Velma commanded.
The two frowned at her comment,they were not lovers.
Blech,they thought.
They looked at each other and smiled as they kept moving.
The Gang continued to look around.
"Like, Why couldn't we have come out here when it was nice and sunny? The problem with Fog is you can't see anything until it's," Shaggy questioned.
Suddenly, A Diving Suit came towards them.
It scared Louis,Scooby,and Shaggy.
They screamed as they fell to the ground.
"Ow," Louis muttered.
"Relax,you babies,it's just an empty suit," Velma informed pushing it away.
Scooby chuckled after that.
"What's so funny?" Louis asked.
"You were so scared," Scooby responded.
"Hey,you were too," Louis pointed out.
"No, we knew that, me and Shaggy knew," Scooby lied.
Louis gave Scooby a face,telling him he wasn't buying it.
Scoob scratched the back of his neck.
"Right," Louis answered.
"Alright,I was," Scooby admitted.
"That's better," Louis commented as he patted his head.
Scooby put Louis on his back as they kept moving
After they found nothing,they went back to where they started.
"Like,Can we go now? I don't know how this place could get any scarier," Shaggy begged.
"I do," Scooby notified.
Louis looked down at what Scooby was looking at.
"Eek! Don't worry,buddy,it'll all be over soon," Louis reassured.
All of a sudden,the Fish Freaks jumped out of the water and surrounded them.
They roared.
"Fish Freaks," They Gang shouted at once.
They whimpered as they successfully surrounded them.
Now,they had them tied up with the rest of the Victims.
"Well,that could have gone better," Louis stated.
"Wow,look at these knots,the simplicity and the beauty,these Fish Freaks have skills," Fred said.
"Like, What do they want with us? What if they eat my brains?" Shaggy asked.
"It'll be a light meal," Velma added.
"What if they want Louis's brain?" Scooby wondered.
"I don't think they want my brain,they wouldn't have tied me up behind you,it would be hard to get me out,not to mention,your back is squishing me,they would have better luck with you," Louis explained.
"Uh oh," Scooby announced.
"Scoob,they won't take you,I won't let them," Louis reassured.
"Aw,thank you," Scooby thanked.
"No problem," Louis replied.
"But, Who are you?" Velma wondered.
"Dr. Spike Cavanaugh,I used to be Destroido's Chief of Geology," Spike responded.
"You're the Scientist, Angel was talking about," Daphne added.
"The Fish Freaks nabbed me a couple of weeks ago,forced me to help them," Spike answered.
"Us too," Skipper added.
"At least,we know where you went,Mr. Skipper," Louis stated.
"Yes, they've been making me and me brother work this rig like Sea Dogs," Skipper finished.
"What are they up to?" Daphne asked.
"They're going to drill for Oil underneath this Platform,just like Destroido wanted to do years ago,but the ground here is so unstable that there's going to be a nasty oil spill if anyone drills into it, I tried to warn them but they just wheezed at me and shuffled off," Spike explained.
"Why would Fish Freaks be interested in drilling for Oil?" Scooby questioned.
"They wouldn't, real ones,at least," Louid said.
"That my Canine Friend is the big greasy question," Spike answered.
The Fish Freaks jumped out of the water.
"Zoinks," Shaggy shouted.
The Fish Freaks climbed up to the rig.
"Please,I am begging you not to drill,the oil will kill thousands of helpless Sea Creatures,which I think you kind of are,Right?" Spike begged.
They looked at him and ignored him by walking away.
The Lead Fish Freak turned on the Drill.
The other two helped.
It went into the Water and started to drill.
They jumped right back into the water and went to watch it drill.
"Oh,this is terrible,we have to stop that drill," Spike commanded.
"I'm telling you,they can't be real Fish Freaks," Louis reminded.
"I'm with Louis,they wouldn't be interested in them,it's that simple," Velma agreed.
"Maybe I can help you guys," Amy announced as she swam directly underneath them.
"A Mermaid," They all announced except Velma and Louis.
"Amy," Velma and Louis called in unison.
"Amy?" The other wondered all at once.
"You two know her?" Daphne wondered.
"Okay,yes," Velma replied.
"She was Velma's Source,but she's also," Louis added.
"Our Secret special Friend, Louis continued.
"So, Don't any of you think about stealing her? That was awkward," Velma stated.
"Yeah,I wouldn't go as far as saying that," Louis informed.
Amy went down and started untying them.
Once they were all back on the Rig.
"Dr. Cavanaugh, Where's the off switch for that drill?" Velma wondered.
"Uh,um,it's on the drill," Spike informed.
"That wasn't smart," Scooby commented.
"Yeah,I was never much of a details man," Spike agreed.
"Unfortunately,I damaged my tail pretty bad dragging myself back up those steps or I'd go after it," Amy warned.
"I recall you two bragging about how long you could hold your breath," Velma reminded.
"Like,that only applies when we're gulping massive amounts of chow," Shaggy responded.
"Yeah,Chow," Scooby added.
"Shaggy," Velma complained.
"Scooby," Daphne called.
"But What about the Fish Freaks? They're,like,down there," Shaggy questioned.
"That's the best part,once you turn off the drill,they'll chase you back up here right into one of my traps," Fred replied.
"Right, I get it,once again,we're Bait," Shaggy complained.
"Exactly," Velma,Daphne, and Fred said in unison.
"Except this time,you'll have one more person with you," Fred notified as he looked at Louis.
Louis gulped.
Shaggy zippered up his diving suit.
Scooby put his Goggles on.
Scooby was helping Louis put on his Diving Fins.
"You'll have these on in no time," Scooby reassured.
"Yeah," Louis wondered.
"Yeah," Scooby agreed.
"Hey, Do you think our relationship will last?" Louis mentioned.
"What do you mean by our relationship?" Scooby asked.
"You know? Our Friendship, Do you think our Friendship Relationship will last like forever?" Louis wondered.
"Yeah,I think it would,we are the best of friends,Louis,we like each other,we are practically inseparable," Scooby replied.
"Well,yeah,but,today,it just, it just proved that our relationship isn't as strong as we think it is,all it took was a couple of words and a few accidents,and then I hurt you," Louis explained.
"Louis,every Relationship goes through a lot,just like any relationship,ours will take work," Scooby informed.
"Wow,that's really wise of you,Dog," Louis said.
"I indeed agree,Dog Boy," Scooby responded putting on a British Accent.
"Hey,that is Mr. Dog Boy to you," Louis corrected.
"Ooh,you have a title now," Scooby commented.
"Yes,yes I do," Louis answered as he booped Scooby on the nose.
The two stood silent for a minute until.
They both burst out laughing as Scooby finished putting it on.
"You ready?" Scooby wondered.
Louis breathed in and out.
"Yes," Louis agreed.
Scooby,Louis,and Shaggy stood on a Elevator with Fred and Velma as it went down.
Scooby breathed in and out.
"Couldn't we wait till the water warms up?" Scooby requested.
"Yeah, and, Why do I have to go with them?" Louis questioned.
"Because,to make sure they get it done and for extra bait,just in case," Fred stated
"Get in the water," Velma commanded.
"Aye,Aye,Captain Velma," Louis added
"Right," Shaggy and Scooby responded.
The Three jumped into the water.
Louis started to sink.
Scooby swam to him,as he motioned for him to grab onto his neck.
"Now,let's trap some Fish Freaks," Fred announced.
Scooby and Shaggy swam to the Drill.
Scooby motioned for Shaggy to follow him.
The Fish Freaks were looking at the ground.
Shaggy pushed the Off Button.
It got the attention of the Fish Freaks.
The two started to swim towards the surface.
Scooby started swimming so fast,Louis couldn't hold on and fell.
He started to sink to the bottom of the ocean.
Scooby noticed him gone and stopped.
He went and swam down to go get him.
Louis was trying to push himself up using his arms but it wasn't working.
He was running out of air.
"Scooby," He called from down there.
It was so muffled and Scooby was so far,he couldn't hear.
He kept calling for him but no one would answer.
He tried a final call.
"Scooby," He called out.
His last bit of air ran out.
He began to sink faster now that he was out.
Scooby quickly swam to get him.
He looked around in the deep ocean and found nothing.
He kept swimming down till he found him.
He grabbed him in his arms and used his feet to swim back up.
Shaggy was already out of the water waiting on Scooby.
Scooby finally came up with Louis in his arms unconscious.
"What happened? Scooby," Shaggy asked.
"He sunk and lost air," Scooby notified as he got out.
"Jinkies," Velma shouted.
"Man,this was a bad idea," Fred mentioned.
"What do I do?" Scooby questioned starting to freak out.
"Alright,start by calming down,he is going to be okay,he was only down there for a couple of minutes,then give him Chest Compressions and give him air by doing a lip lock," Velma explained
Scooby followed her instructions.
He slowly breathed in and out to calm himself down.
He,then gave him Chest Compressions.
"Come on,Louis,breathe," Scooby said before he started giving him air.
He put his lips on Louis's lips and breathed air into his mouth.
He did it over and over again.
It wasn't working.
No matter how may times he did it,it wouldn't work.
"Come on,don't leave me,Louis,please,I am sorry,okay,I was wrong you are something without me,you are everything without me,you don't deserve this,you need to get up,I shouldn't have told you that in the first place,I,the truth is,I thought if you were to be with Velma,you wouldn't hang out with me anymore,I have to admit,I got possessive wanting you to be all mine,but you are right,Relationships aren't like that,I was so nervous that you wouldn't want me anymore,I told you that and I am really sorry," Scooby explained.
The Fish Freaks were coming up and coming up fast.
That was when,Louis started coughing.
"Louis," Scooby called,
"Turn him over on his side,so he can get the water out of his lungs," Velma ordered.
He coughed and coughed as water spilled out of his mouth.
When he was finally done.
"Why didn't you just say something?" Louis questioned.
"I didn't know how to tell you,I was gonna ask you that same question when I was helping you put your flippers on but you beat me to it and I wanted to be brave for you," Scooby eludicated.
"Scooby,if you would have told me this sooner,we could have skipped all these issues,I will always have a need for you,and I will always want you,Scooby-Doo," Louis said.
That made Scooby feel 100% better.
He smiled.
"Let's finish this Mystery," Louis ordered.
The four agreed.
The Fish Freaks were swimming towards the Elevator
Velma turned on the Elevator and it went up.
They got back onto the Platform and ran.
The Fish Freaks shot out of the water and after them.
They were now cornered.
All of a sudden, they heard someone singing.
The Gang recognized it but not the Fish Freaks.
"Take another step closer,For we still haven't met," Amy sang.
The Fish Freaks were going to run to her.
"Now," Fred yelled.
Daphne pulled on a lever.
Amy continued to sing.
"Too bad you suckers,now you're caught in my net," Amy sang.
"Good job,Freddy," Daphne congratulated.
"Well,not one of my fancier traps but, I think there's a certain beauty in it's simplicity," Fred stated.
"So, Who is it?" Louis asked as he sat on Scooby's back.
At this point,he didn't really want to be near anyone else.
"I would like to see who's been holding me captive all this time," Spike mentioned.
As Spike pulled of the Mask.
"Ernesto?" Daphne wondered.
"Hello,Comrade Daphne and her fellow Comrade Mystery Solving Teenagers," Ernesto said.
"But aren't you against all this antienvironment stuff?" Daphne questioned.
"Funny you should ask,it all started when we were doing a little research into our old foe Destroido,we were going through the trash when we ran across some very interesting information,Dr. Cavanaugh's old report on this giant Oil Deposit off Dead Man's Point,we came up with a plan to make enough money to fund our various protests,we were gonna drill for the Oil ourselves and sell it," Ernesto explained.
"You were doing this for cash?" Fred wondered.
"You have no ideahow expensive it is to be a Grassroot's Activist,after we found the location of the Oil Platform,all we had to do was scare off anyone who started nosing into our business, And we would have too,if that Meddling Mermaid had kept her fin to herself and never contacted you," Ernesto lashed out angrily.
"Well,we probably would have anyway," Louis added.
"Hold on, Are you telling us that you were going to cause a major environmental disaster in order to get the cash to protest against major environmental disasters?" Velma questioned.
"Yes,you must be willing to kill the environment to save it," Ernesto eludicated.
"Uh,...no,I don't think that's right," They all responded in unison.
The Sheriff came and took him as the Gang watched them drive away.
Velma waved bye to him.
"You know,Velms,I think we did good together," Louis mentioned.
"Yes,I think we did," Velma agreed.
Her and Louis turned to see something shocking but not very shocking.
They had noticed Amy was human and was kissing her husband Spike,they saw her bottom half was her legs.
The Tail was off.
"Hey,You're not," Velma was pointing out.
"A, Mermaid," Louis finished.
"Allow me to introduce my lovely Wife, Amy Cavanaugh,ordinary human and professional commercial jingle singer," Spike introduced.
The Gang was shocked.
"That explains why your eerily beautiful singing voice made me want to put on deodorant," Fred commented.
"You lied to us," Louis stated.
Velma sighed in pain.
"Velma,Louis," Amy called.
"You did lie to us,you acted like you were our friend, and we believe you,I believed you," Velma said.
"I'm sorry,I came up with the Mermaid Character out of desperation,I'd gone to the Police to report that my husband had been kidnapped by Fish Freaks,but they just laughed at me,then asked for directions to the Oil Platform so they could add it as a stop to put on the Crystal Cove Mystery Tour,I thought if I could make it sound like one of you guys's mysteries,you two would help me rescue my husband, and you both did," Amy explained.
"How do you even know about us?" Velma wondered.
"I read your blog,I'm a fan," Amy informed.
"Does that mean you're going to stay in touch?" Velma questioned.
"If you two would like me to," Amy stated.
"Sure," Louis agreed.
Louis was still mad at her for tricking him.
He had been tricked way too many times.
They always hurt him more and more.
But he wasn't going to let what happened on the Boat happen again with Amy.
"Well,whatever,it's your decision,but I wouldn't mind if you did,as far as helping,it's what we do,our friend Angel also deserves a lot of credit,she knew about Destroido's involvement from some old newspaper articles,that's how we made the connection," Velma informed.
"Newspaper Articles? That's strange,Destroido covered the whole thing up,the papers never even knew about it," Amy stated.
Louis did another facepalm,she was not careful and Velma was onto them.
He had been telling her to be more careful.
They had arguments about it,that she wasn't careful enough.
"Hmm," Velma whispered.

Angel was putting another thing of music on.

Angel noticed her and turned around.
"Lordy,Velma,baby,you just about scared me out of my skin tight leather foxy pants, What's with all the sneaking around?" Angel questioned.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Angel wondered.
"For the short amount of time that you've been in Crystal Cove,you sure know a lot about this town's mystery history," Velma mentioned.
"Well,I'm just curious by nature, Remember the heebedy jeebedies," Angel lied putting her hands on her hips.
"Stop, one of my big problems on a list that's long and distinguished, is that despite my skeptical nature, I trust people,I want to see the best in them,unfortunately, they usually let me down,things have been adding up for me,Angel,the help you gave us on this Oil Platform Mystery,the Diary you provided for the Mystery Manor Case,stuff you shouldn't know and shouldn't have had,no matter what the heebedy jeebedy," Velma explained
"What are you saying? Angel asked.
"I'm saying Angel Dynamite isn't your real name, I think your real name is Cassidy Williams and you're one of the members of the original Mystery Incorporated that vanished in the Caves beneath Crystal Cove, Tell me I'm wrong,Friend," Velma answered.
"You're not," Louis announced rolling into the Room.
"Louis," Velma called out.
"Baby,you don't have to tell her anything about your involvement," Angel warned.
"I know,I want to," Louis informed.
He rolled in front of Velma to tell her.
He sighed.
"I knew too," Louis stated.
"You did? Why didn't you tell us? Velma wondered.
"Because I promised her I wouldn't," Louis responded.
"We trusted you," Velma shouted.
"And,I know you did,I haven't betrayed you,I just didn't tell you something," Louis notified.
"Hm, and,How many more things have you not told us?" Velma questioned.
In his head,he thought quite a few things, Pericles's visit to him at his house,him and Pericles's little talk at the Prison, that he knew that Mr. E was a bad guy.
He didn't even know how long he wanted to keep those a secret.
He wanted to tell Scooby,he wanted to tell Scooby everything.
But one thing was stopping him.
What would Scooby think about it afterwards?
Would he ask why he hid it.
Would he ditch him?
Would he even hurt him?
Those possibilities was what was keeping him from telling him.
"None,I haven't even told Scooby," Louis responded.

She already figured on keeping the secret anyway.

"He's going to resent you if he finds out," Velma warned.

"That'll be something for me to live with,it'll come,which is why I am spending as much time as I can before it happens, when it does," Louis whispered.
