Deep in the Amazon.
A Snake slithered along a rock.
After the Snake passed,a Man walked into the part of the Jungle where the Snake was.
It was Dr. Rick Spartan, A Famous Jungle Explorer.
Rick carried a Sword which he sliced the Leaves,Vines, and Sticks with.
With him, was his Wife Marion and His College Buddy Cachinga,which he liked to believe was a Wild Savage.
Marion walked behind her husband and behind her was Cachinga.
Rick moved the final Leaves away,revealing what he was looking for.
"Marion! Cachinga!" He called.
They ran to him when he called.
"We found it, the Ancient Burial Heap of Sklar Gringat,I told you,Legend,Plenty true,Cachinga," Rick said.
"Yes,Amazing," Cachinga replied nonchalantly as he carried a Spear and huddled down beside them.
Rick ran to the Temple while the other two followed.
When Marion ran,she fell and sprained her ankle.
Cachinga and Rick noticed and ran back to her.
"My Ankle,I think it's broken," Marion warned.
Rick rubbed it and she winced in pain.
"Cachinga,make plenty fast for Camp,fetch Medicine Kit,for Wifey,bring here,quicky quicky,K,K," Rick commanded.
Cachinga gave him his Spear and ran back to Camp.
"I'm sorry,Honey,go on,I'll be fine here...alone," Marion offered as she laid on her back as she hoped her Husband would stay.
"Okay," Rick agreed as he ran to the Temple.
"Huh?" Marion whispered.
She didn't think he would do it.
"Love ya," He announced as he ran looking back at her.
He ran up the Stairs and ran up to the Top.
He looked back to make sure she was safe and turned back to the Temple.
He used the Spear to pry the Ball off the Ceiling.
It came rolling down fast and came rolling towards Marion.
She gasped as she rolled out of the way.
He used a Rope and tied it to something.
He climbed down into the Temple and used the Flashlight to look around.
When he climbed down,he smiled confidently.
He walked to the Chest and read the Inscription.
"Take not my Head or a Curse on you,My Body shall forever avenge the wrong you do, A Curse,This Day just gets better and better,Whoa," He read as he opened it and saw what was inside.
He picked up the Head and screamed when he saw it.
"You were Warned," The Head shouted.
He screamed as he dropped it.
It looked at him.
Something touched his Shoulder.
When he turned around,he flashed his Flashlight on it.
It was the Thing's Body.
It roared at him.
Rick screamed at it as it got closer.
The Next Day in Crystal Cove.
Fred was driving the Mystery Machine around from side to side as he passed the other Cars.
"Slow down,Fred," Daphne ordered.
"I can't,I don't want to be late for school," Fred replied.
"Like,since when don't you wanna be late for School?" Shaggy questioned.
"Yeah,that's not like you," Louis added.
Fred slid to the Left again.
Making Scooby land right onto Louis.
"Oops,Sorry," Scooby apologized.
"It's alright," Louis reassured.
Fred turned to the right making Louis fall onto Scooby.
"Whoa," Scooby whispered.
"Oops," Louis mumbled.
The two both chuckled.
Fred made a sudden stop making Louis fall back onto his seat and Scooby back onto his.
He went again and continued to drive from side to side.
"Well,Gang,to answer your question earlier,since I found out who our new Biology Teacher is," Fred stated.
"Who?" The Gang asked.
"Dr. Rick Spartan," Fred announced.
"Uh,never hear of him," Scooby warned.
"Sorry,We don't know who that is," Louis informed.
"That's because you don't read Trap Magazines like I do,The Guy's a Legend," Fred added.
"He builds traps?" Daphne guessed.
"No,he just gets out of them, a lot," He answered.
As he went from side to side.
Louis screamed as he went up into the air and landed on Scooby's face.
"Ouch," Scooby and Louis complained.
Velma fell to the right Wall and Shaggy landed in front of her with his hand on the wall.
"Sorry," Shaggy apologized.
"No,it's okay,you don't need to move," Velma reassured.
"Really? Does that mean,like, you wanna,uh,maybe,like,be friends again?" Shaggy wondered.
"Maybe," Velma replied.
Daphne watched clearly shipping them.
"Aww," Daphne muttered.
"I can't see," Scooby warned.
"Maybe,cause I landed on your face," Louis commented.
"That makes sense," Scooby stated.
Scooby bobbed his head up making Louis fall off his face and onto his back.
"Why does this still not feel right?" Louis questioned.
"I think you are upside down," Scooby notified.
Louis was upside down on Scooby's back.
Shaggy and Velma were still in the same postion.
"Well,uh,maybe,me too," Shaggy agreed.
Fred moved from side to side again making Louis and Scooby land onto them too.
"Maybe,me three," Scooby added.
"And four," Louis murmured.
Velma frowned in disappointment.
At School.
Rick screamed as he forced himself for his back to hit the board.
"The Headless Horror had me pinned against the wall,it punched me again and again and again,uh,oh,uhh,it picked me up by the throat and threw me to the ground,it stomped on me over, and over and over,both my arms were broken,I had 16 fractured ribs," Rick explained acting it all out.
"I don't like this story very much," Louis warned sitting with the rest of the Gang using a book to hide most of his face.
"What did you do?" Fred asked.
"Do? The only thing I could do,I kicked it right in the face," Rick continued.
"But how did you do that if you had 16 fractured ribs?" Louis questioned.
"Cachinga," Rick called.
Cachinga threw the Spear at Louis's head pinning Louis's shirt to the wall with Louis in the shirt.
"No interrupting," Rick commanded.
"Yes sir," Louis responded.
"Anyway,Kapowee,Hyah,It stumbled back,giving me just enough time to climb up the rope using only my left pinky," Rick explained.
"No way," Fred said.
"A little help," Louis requested.
Shaggy went and un-pinned him to the Wall.
"Like, Are you okay?" Shaggy wondered.
"I'm good,a little humiliated though," Louis answered.
Shaggy put Louis back in his Wheelchair and sitting back down.
"But,that's the way it goes when you live the life of adventure, Right? Cachinga," Rick continued.
"If you say so," Cachinga replied nonchalantly.
"Now listen up,I don't know much about Biology,so if you want to know what a Spleen is,you go read a book,but, if you want to know how to escape the clutches of an 800 pound Sumo Wrestler who's trying to put a Poison Dart in your back,then you're in the right place,Class Dismissed," Rick finished.
"But there's 45 minutes left," A Nerd excused.
"Cachinga," Rick shouted.
"Uh oh,I know what happens next," Louis complained as he ducked.
Cachinga threw the Spear into the Clock.
"I said,Class Dismissed," Rick repeated in a less nice tone.
Most of the Students ran out screaming.
"Dr. Spartan,wow,I'm your biggest fan,I've read about all your adventures,and,you know,we have a lot of adventures,too," Fred cheered.
"You don't say,Is he with you" Rick replied.
"Oh,Louis,nah,he is kind of new at it," Fred lied.
"Hey, I'm new alright,I have only been with you for over a hundred Mysteries," Louis lashed out angrily.
Scooby patted Louis on the Head.
"Yeah,we solve Mysteries,we've almost been killed a couple times," Fred continued.
"For me,it's a regular basis," Louis commented.
"Don't you just love it when that happens?Isn't it just the best?" Rick wondered.
"Absolutely," Fred agreed.
The Gang looked at Fred and then back at Rick.
"Not Really," The others said in unison.
"So do you still have that shrunken head?" Fred asked.
"I sure do,it's super creepy,too,hey, You want to see it?" Rick answered.
"Absolutely," Fred agreed.
"Not really," Louis,Scooby,Velma,Shaggy, and Velma warned in unison.
"Why don't you all come by the house for dinner tonight and I'll show you my whole collection of cool stuff?" Rick offered.
"Ooh,that would be awesome," Fred responded.
"Make sure to bring your appetites,We're eating Cow," Rick announced.
"Ew," The Gang replied in unison and in disgust.
"He means Steak," Cachinga informed as he followed Rick out.
"Oooh,cool," The Gang said in unison.
That Night at Rick's House.
Everyone was sitting at the Table eating.
Fred and Daphne sat next to each other,Shaggy and Velma sat next to each other,and Louis and Scooby sat next to each other.
"This is yummy," Scooby mentioned.
"Thank you,it is such a joy to be able to go to the Supermarket and get Cow right off the Shelves,it's so much easier than chasing it down,Thanks again for helping me Cook and Shop,Louis," Marion thanked.
Shaggy and Scooby looked at the Steak when she talked about chasing it down and shrugged as they kept eating.
As she spoke,Rick stuffed full steaks into his mouth
"No problem,M'am,I just like to help," Louis replied.
"You are so sweet," Marion complemented.
"You helped make this?" Scooby questioned actually surprised.
"Yeah,we did a mixture of my mom and Ms. Marion's Recipes," Louis warned.
"I never heard you mention your Mom before," Scooby mentioned.
"Oh,that's because she died," Louis responded in a hurt tone,he didn't really like telling people about that but he was his best friend so he would tell him.
"Oh,Louis,I didn't mean to," Scooby was about to apologize.
"No need to apologize,Scooby,you are my Best Friend,I'll tell you everything," Louis said as he hugged Scooby's face.
Scooby smiled and chuckled at that.
"So, How long will you be teaching at the High School? Dr. Spartan," Daphne asked.
"Long enough for Marion to have a little break,living in the Jungle's kind of rough on her," Rick informed.
While he spoke,Fred tried to copy him and Daphne shook her head in disapproval.
"It's the little things you miss,Warm Showers,Dishwasher, not having to check your back every morning for ticks," Marion stated.
"You rest up,Honey,a few months of R and R and we'll be ready to hit the Adventure Highway again,Right? Cachinga," Rick reminded.
"Quite," Cachinga agreed.
"How long have you worked with Dr. Spartan?" Velma asked.
"Quite a while,actually,we were Students at Oxford,upon Graduation,he hired me straight away to be his Assistant," Cachinga answered.
"So you guys are friends, Me and Scooby are friends,we have our own Best Friend Handshake," Louis added.
As they started to do their Best Friend Handshake.
Louis and Scooby hit each other's hands,they did a fist bump,they hit their heads together,Scooby licked Louis, Scooby threw Louis up into the sky and caught him in his arms, and Louis kissed Scooby's cheek as Scooby chuckled.
"We're still working on extending it," Louis notified.
"How long have you two known each other?" Rick asked.
"A Couple of Months but we're getting there," Louis replied.
"Yep,soon we'll be Year Round Friends," Scooby stated.
"No Hard Feelings about getting you speared earlier," Rick wondered.
Louis frowned.
"None whatsoever," Louis responded angrily.
"What kind of name is Cachinga?" Shaggy questioned.
"I have absolutely no idea,my real name is Charles,Charles Wheetlesby,Rick calls me Cachinga,because he likes to pretend I'm a Wild Savage,the pay's good,so I don't mind," Charles explained.
Then,Why don't you wear the outfit I bought you?" Rick mentioned.
"I am not putting on a Bearskin and Antlers," Charles whispered.
"That's what Savages wear," Rick shouted.
"I've got the Spear,Isn't that good enough?" Charles commented.
Louis and Scooby looked at each other and shook their heads in disapproval.
"Amateur Friends," They murmured.
"And they have known each other longer," Scooby added.
"No! You just look like a dude with a Spear," Rick yelled banging on the Table.
"Well, I'm sorry if I'm a disappointment, If you will excuse me,I'll be in my Yurt," Cachinga replied.
"You shouldn't be so hard on him,Rick,He saved your life more than once," Marion reminded.
"Yeah,I know,I'll go apologize," Rick warned in annoyed whispers.
"But, First, What do you say we go see that Shrunken Head?" Rick announced.
Louis and Scooby were the first to go in.
They looked around wearily.
Velma and Shaggy and Fred and Daphne followed next.
The Gang looked around the room.
"Whoa,this place is really crowded," Louis added.
Scooby sniffed around.
"What ya doing? Scooby," Louis asked.
"Sniffing around with my nose," Scooby replied.
"I like your nose," Louis complemented.
"Really? Thank you," Scooby thanked.
"You're Welcome," Louis responded.
"Is all this from your adventures?" Scooby wondered.
"Yep,well,all except that Clown Mask,I bought that in Reno," Rick answered
"Where is Reno?" Scooby questioned.
"It's in Nevada,it is it's largest City," Louis answered.
"There it is,the Shrunken Head of Sklar Gringat, Do you wanna hold it?" Rick announced.
"Absolutley," Fred agreed.
"Not Really," The Rest of the Gang said in unison cringing at the thought.
"You're not worried about the Curse?" Daphne mentioned.
"Nah,I left that Headless thing thousands of mile away in the Jungle,there's no way it..." Rick was saying.
While Rick talked,Fred looked at the Head in curiosity,as he reached out for it.
They all heard a roar.
A very loud Roar.
As it roared,the door closed.
A Rumble happened as the wall began to come apart.
The Gang screamed as they ran out of the way.
As they screamed,Scooby jumped into Shaggy's arms.
It was the Headless Body,it Growled and Roared in anger
"Wow, Don't you just love Curses?" Rick wondered.
"Absolutely," Fred agreed in fear.
"Not Really," Louis and Scooby replied in unison.
The Thing Roared and flipped over two tables.
It shrieked and Shaggy and Scooby screamed.
"Wow,this thing has a set of lungs," Louis commented as he covered his ears.
"Not now,Louis," Scooby ordered.
"Sorry,I can't help but comment," Louis warned.
Rick tried to open the door.
"It won't open," Rick pointed out.
Rick tried to kick it, the Beast countered by picking him up over it's head and throwing Rick against the door.
"Yikes,he's out," Louis pointed out.
Scooby glared at him,mad about his comment.
Louis put up his hands and gave Scooby an awkward smile.
Fred gasped as it approached Daphne.
Daphne moved out of the way.
It picked Rick up by his foot.
Fred looked around for something to use.
Louis found something near the door.
They were Spears.
Louis grabbed one
"Look Spears,we can use them to fend it off," Louis suggested.
"Good thinking,Louis," Fred complemented.
Fred approached it and hit the Body with the back of the Spear.
It dropped Rick and roared in pain
"Shaggy,Scooby,the Spears," Fred commanded.
Shaggy and Scooby looked behind them and found Spears.
Shaggy grabbed one with both his hands and Scooby grabbed it with his mouth.
Fred,Louis,Scooby, and Shaggy used it to back the Creature up.
"Shoo,you Freak of Nature," Louis commanded.
"Yeah,You Freak Of Nature," Scooby repeated.
While they were backing it up,Rick woke up and shook himself awake.
He watched them do it and knew he had to help.
He grabbed the last remaining one and helped back it up back to the hole it came in from.
It shrieked.
"I shall return,I shall be with you forever," It yelled as it shrieked again and disappeared.
"Yes,we did it," Louis cheered as he picked Scooby up by his waist.
"Whoa,Louis, What are you doing?" Scooby wondered.
"Celebrating," Louis replied as he hugged him tightly.
Rick looked back at him and glared,saying that it wasn't something to celebrate.
Louis,then put Scooby down and hid behind him afraid of what Rick was going to do next.
Later, back at the Table.
Marion patted Rick's head with a wet Rag.
"I don't understand how that thing could have found me here," Rick stated.
Suddenly,Cachinga came running inside.
"I-Is everything alright? I heard a frightful commotion," Cachinga asked.
"I'm afraid not,we got attacked by the Headless Horror,that's what I'm calling it now," Louis added.
"Good name," Scooby complemented.
"Why thank you,Scooby-Doo," Louis thanked.
"Where you were? Why you not come when Monster make bad-bad," Rick questioned.
Cachinga rolled his eyes and ignored him.
Velma,Fred, and Daphne looked at each other.
"Dr. Spartan, What can you tell us about the Curse?" Velma asked.
While Velma asked, Fred and Daphne still looked at each other suspiciously.
"It was carved into the box,it said,if I took the head,it's body would avenge the wrong I did,Forever," Rick explained.
"That's a long time," Scooby added.
"Uh,Scooby,Forever,is for the rest of his life,like never gonna stop,Infinity and Beyond,practically never ending," Louis warned.
"Yikes," Scooby shouted as he hid behind Louis.
"I can't spend the rest of my life running from that thing,I've gotta find a way to break the Curse," Rick pointed out.
"Like,How are you gonna do that?" Shaggy wondered.
"I have no idea," Rick replied.
"But I know someone who might," Velma announced.
At The Crystal Cove Spook Museum.
In the Haunted Gift Shop and Coffee Bar,Louis,Scooby,Velma and Shaggy arrived and explained to her their dilemma.
"Hmm, a Shrunken Head Curse,that's a lot of Bad Mojo,not easy to break," Angie responded.
"I think Curses in general are bad Mojo," Louis added.
"Well,you would be correct," Angie agreed.
"Then there's nothing we can do?" Velma questioned.
"I didn't say that,I just said it wouldn't be easy,I'll go get my Curse Book," Angie answered.
While she went to get her Book,Velma and Shaggy sipped their Hot Chocolate.
"Uh,me and Scooby will be over here,we'll let you guys talk," Louis warned.
"Why?" Scooby asked.
Louis frowned as he grabbed Scooby by his Collar and pulled him towards the Book Section.
Meanwhile Velma wiped some of the Hot Chocolate from her lip.
"I'm glad you came with me,Shaggy," Velma mentioned.
"I'm way glad you asked,to be honest with you,Velma,like,I really missed you,uh,uh,us," Shaggy stated.
"Me too," Velma agreed.
In the Meantime,Louis and Scooby were looking through the books.
"You good?" Scooby wondered.
"Yeah," Louis replied.
"Glad to hear,I like how our friendship is flourishing," Scooby mentioned.
"Me too," Louis responded.
Louis happened to look at the other Aisle of Books and a Bounty Hunter was watching and had a Gun in his hand waiting for a moment for him to be alone.
Louis gulped and had a look of fear on his face.
"What's wrong?" Scooby asked.
"Nothing," Louis lied.
"If you are sure," Scooby whispered.
"Could I go underneath you," Louis requested.
"Uh,sure," Scooby agreed hesitantly.
He was kind of weirded out by his question.
Louis got himself off his Wheelchair and crawled underneath him then laid on his back and let out a sigh of relief knowing he was safe .
Scooby actually felt weird by this,Louis had never asked to be under him before not to mention,him breathing from under there didn't feel right either.
"Can I tell you something?" Louis questioned.
"Yeah,anything," Scooby answered as he looked underneath himself to look at Louis.
"I have noticed as of late that I haven't..." Louis was about to say.
Back at the Seats.
Velma and Shaggy were about to hold hands when Angie dropped the Book hard on the Table getting there attention and spilling their Hot Chocolate.
"Hold on,we better get the other two," Velma informed as she walked over to go get them.
Louis had stopped talking when he heard the sudden loud sound,and was about to say something again.
"I haven't been..." Louis continued.
"Hey,guys,she's,oh,um,you two are busy,sorry,for interrupting,um,she found it,but I will give you both some privacy," Velma responded she saw them in the position they were in,and put her hand in front of her face so she didn't have to look at it.
She was disgusted and felt uncomfortable just looking at it.
She walked back over there.
"Did not need to see that," Velma murmured.
"Where are Louis and Scooby?" Shaggy asked.
"They are coming," Velma answered nervously.
Back over there.
"Well,we better get over there," Scooby suggested.
"Yeah,definitely,I guess I will have to tell you later" Louis agreed realizing what she thought and looked from side to side,not wanting to come out from under there,cause the Bounty Hunter could still be there waiting for him.
"Uh,I think you are going to have to get out from under me,so we can go," Scooby informed.
"Oh,right,of course," Louis answered nervously.
Scooby waited but Louis wasn't coming out.
Scooby tapped his front paws as he waited.
"Just a question,Is it clear of people from the Aisles?" Louis questioned.
Scooby looked at the Aisles's holes between books.
"Yes,all clear," Scooby replied.
"Great," Louis cheered happily.
"Okay," Scooby said he was wondering why Louis was acting so weird.
"Um,I might need help getting out from under here," Louis notified.
"Alright," Scooby agreed.
He backed up getting out from over him.
He picked Louis up and put him in his Wheelchair.
The two came out of the Aisle and towards Velma and Shaggy.
"Uh,Velma,about what happened in the Aisle,me and Scooby weren't," Louis tried to inform.
"Don't worry,what happens in the Aisle stays in the Aisle,Your Relationship Secret is safe with me," Velma answered.
She thought they were about to mate or something else unpleasant.
She didn't know the actual reason.
"Good news,I think I found an Incantation to break the Curse," Angie announced.
"Great," Louis responded.
"Yeah,great," Scooby repeated.
Velma looked at them and shuddered as she looked back at her mom
"Let's see now,Okay,It says the Incantation has to be said in a Jungle," Angie warned.
"The Jungle? But the Amazon's thousands of miles away," Velma informed.
"It doesn't have to be the Amazon,any Jungle will do," Angie added.
"One problem with that," Louis said.
"Yeah,One Problem with that," Scooby repeated.
Louis glared at him for the constant repeating.
Scooby gave him a big smile.
Yeah,Like,dudes,we don't have a Jungle in Crystal Cove," Shaggy notified.
"Hmm,Wait,Yes we do,the Botanical Gardens,they've got that new Mini RainForest,that's a Jungle," Velma announced.
"If that counts as a Jungle," Louis commented.
"It also says the Incantation has to be recited by a Jackal," Angie read.
"Great,Where are we going to get a Talking Jackal?" Velma questioned.
"Beats me," Louis replied.
"I could order you one but it'll take a couple of weeks," Angie notified.
"We don't have Weeks," Louis notified.
"Like,Wait a Minute,What about Scooby-Doo? Like,he can talk," Shaggy suggested.
"Can you even do that?" Louis wondered.
"It's worth a shot," Velma answered.
"Well,Scooby-Doo,you are going to save the day,I always said you would," Louis stated.
Scooby smiled at that.
At the Botanical Gardens.
The Gang were all there along with Rick Spartan.
Louis and Scooby were playing with Louis's Flashlight.
The others just stood waiting.
Rick got impatient.
"What are we waiting for? Let's do this," Rick commanded.
"The Instructions say we can't start until precisely midnight," Velma warned.
Fred looked at his Phone.
"Forty Seconds to go," Fred announced.
"I'm surprised Cachinga didn't come to help," Daphne mentioned.
"Ah,He's Cheesed off about the way I talked to him last night,He says,I don't respect him,Says I take him for granted,Natives," Rick explained.
"Well,if you would have actually apologized last night,he might have," Louis commented.
"Ooh,Spooky," Scooby added as they made the Flashlight turn off and on.
The two chuckled.
"Would you two quit it? Uh,I still can't see you two the same," Velma complained as she took away Louis's Flashlight.
"What happened?" Daphne asked.
"Nothing," Louis,Scooby, and Velma responded in unison.
"Yoo hoo,Mind if I join you,I just love Incantations,they're such a Hoot,oh,I brought you this," Angie announced as they all flashed their flashlights on her by her sudden voice.
Louis grabbed his Flashlight back from Velma.
"Do I need this for the Ceremony?" Scooby wondered.
"Not really,it just adds a little sizzle," Angie stated as she shook her hands and hip and excitement.
She gave it to him.
Scooby stood tall and proud.
That was when Scooby's Hat for the Ceremony dropped.
Louis picked it up.
Scooby bent down on one knee so Louis could reach his head.
"Please tell me this isn't a proposal," Velma begged.
Louis put it on and straightened the Staff in Scooby's Paws.
"There's My Little Hero,now go save the day," Louis complemented as he softed Scooby's head.
Scooby smiled as he pulled Louis closer to him and hugged him tightly.
"What was that for?" Louis questioned.
"For being the best friend ever," Scooby replied.
Scooby let go and smiled at him,Louis smiled back.
"Midnight,Okay,Scooby,You're up," Fred pointed out.
Scooby started the Incantation by putting the Stick in his mouth.
"Here let me carry that," Louis offered.
"Thanks," Scooby thanked.
Scooby walked over to the Middle of the Jungle with Shaggy,Louis and Rick by his side.
Shaggy held the Tray for the Ingredients that Scooby needed while Louis held the Staff and Rick held the head.
Scooby dug a hole.
Louis handed the Staff over to him.
Scooby patted his head and resumed the Incantation.
He held the Staff over the Hole in a Circular Motion.
"Wama,Wama,Yoy,Yoy," Scooby recited.
Scooby grabbed the Vile of Fluid and poured it into the Hole.
"Yoy,Yoy,Pippy,Pippy," He continued to recite.
He grabbed a pawful of Petals.
He grabbed the Head.
"Shrinky Head,Go back to the Jungle," Scooby shouted as he put it in and covered up the Hole.
"Nyup,Nyup," They all said in unison.
"I did it," Scooby announced.
"Good Job,Scooby-Doo," Louis congratulated.
"Yeah,Good job,Scoob," Shaggy also congratulated.
"Did it work?" Louis asked.
"We're about to find out," Shaggy replied.
All of a sudden, the ground began to rumble.
Scooby clinged to Shaggy,Louis saw Scooby clinging to Shaggy and rolled behind Rick.
"Uh,Rick,I think you might need to stop your Adventure Life," Louis suggested.
"No way," Rick disagreed.
"Rick, You are putting my Friends in danger and all for an Adventure Life,you are even putting your loved ones in danger cause you want to live the life of Adventure," Louis yelled.
"Nonsense," Rick retorted.
A Hand came out of the Ground.
The Hand helped the rest of it come out.
"Louis,I think this answered your question," Scooby responded.
"About if it worked,Yes,I think it did," Louis pointed out.
It shrieked as it came out.
"On Second thought,Zoinks," Shaggy shouted.
"Maybe,you need a Jackal after all," Angie added.
"Oh Yeah,What gave you the first clue?" Louis commented.
It roared as it stood in front of Rick.
"Why won't you leave me alone?" Rick wondered.
"You have plundered not just my Tomb but countless others,I shall follow you all the days of your life," It shouted.
"No," Rick yelled as he charged it.
"Rick,no,It seems to know your every move," Louis notified.
Rick punched it over and over again.
It picked him up over it's head throwing him at Louis,hitting him and Louis into a tree.
"Good Work,Adventurer," Louis added as he collapsed unconscious.
The others gasped as they looked at each other.
"You shall never be rid of me," It stated as it laughed.
It jumped from Branch to Branch as it laughed.
It ran away.
Daphne leaned over Rick to see him out.
"A little help," Louis requested.
He was hanging upside down against the tree.
A Vine had gotten wrapped around his foot when he hit the tree.
Scooby climbed the Tree to help him down.
He jumped onto Louis and used his Claw to cut the Vine making Louis fall to the ground and Scooby land on him breaking Scooby's fall.
"Thanks," Scooby thanked.
"No problem," Louis replied as he winced in pain.
Scooby rested his head on Louis's Chest in contentment.
At the Hospital later.
The Gang surrounded him.
Fred,Louis, and Daphne were sitting next to each other on the side of his bed,Shaggy,Velma,and Scooby sat at the end of the Hospital Bed.
"He'll be fine,He just needs rest, and quite a few operations," The Nurse warned.
Cachinga came running in.
"Oh,dear me! Rick,What happened?" Cachinga wondered.
"Like you give a whoop," Rick commented.
"What are you talking about? Of course I do," Cachinga warned.
"Ah,Who cares? It doesn't matter,just go back to Oxford,Charles,I don't need you anymore,I'm quitting," Rick announced.
Fred gasped.
"Louis,you were right,I was putting your friends in danger,and I'm putting my Family in danger, And for what? The Life of Adventure, please,you were right from the beginning," Rick finished.
"Oh,Darling,Are you sure?" Marion questioned.
"I'm sure,Maybe,just maybe, that thing will leave me alone, if I stop all this Adventure Stuff," Rick agreed.
"Yes,yes,Maybe it will," Marion guessed.
"Rick,what I said before,I was just concerned for my friends safety," Louis informed.
"Yeah,he doesn't know what he's talking about,don't quit,don't quit because of Louis,this is his fault,not yours" Fred begged.
"Whoa,This isn't my fault, I didn't make that thing appear," Louis warned.
"Yeah,but you complained to Rick, and made him quit," Fred pointed out.
"That's not how that works," Louis retorted.
"Yes,it is how it works,stop,you are ruining everything,you're the one putting us in danger,of boredom," Fred stated.
Louis frowned and rolled out.
"Fred,you need to apologize to your friend,he didn't make me do anything," Rick requested.
"Dr. Spartan,you can't quit,you're awesome,the World needs guys like you," Fred pleaded.
"I'm sorry,Fred,the Gig is up,it's time to start living the life of an average boring Joe," Rick apologized.
"I thought his name was Rick," Scooby added.
"Dr. Spartan,Please, don't quit,give us one more chance to figure out how to stop that thing," Fred begged.
"Okay," Dr. Spartan agreed.
The Gang left his Hospital Room.
On the way out,Scooby noticed Louis looking out the Window.
"You okay?" Scooby asked.
"Yeah,I'm fine," Louis lied.
He wasn't,what Fred said hurt, but then again,Fred was just upset that his hero was quitting maybe he was so upset he didn't know what he was saying.
"I'm sorry about what Fred said," Scooby apologized.
"It's fine," Louis responded as he began to roll after the rest of the Gang.
Scooby knew it wasn't but, How would he get Louis to spill?
At the Botanical Gardens.
The Gang looked around with their Flashlights.
Fred shined his Flashlight on the grass where something was.
He picked it up.
"What is it?" Daphne wondered.
"I'm not sure," Fred replied as he looked through it and turned around showing the others.
"Looks like a huge Contact Lens,Jinkies,That's right,just before the Creature threw Dr. Spartan," Velma was explaining.
"And me," Louis added.
"Well, and him against the tree,he hit it right in the eye," Velma finished.
"It must have fallen off," Daphne stated.
"I'm sure Fred doesn't even know what a small Contact Lens is," Scooby whispered to Louis to make him feel better.
Louis smiled at Scooby's Comment.
"There's that smile," Scooby said.
Louis shook his head playfully as he rolled over with Shaggy to search for more.
"Hey,look at this,it's a Minature Video Camera," Fred warned.
"Are you still upset?" Scooby questioned following them two.
"Yeah," Louis replied sadly.
He wanted to let it go but it really hurt.
"Like,look what I found," Shaggy notified.
Louis and Scooby gasped.
"No way," Louis murmured.
The Three came back to the other three.
"Like,that's not all,Louis,Scooby, and I found this where the Creature came out of the ground," Shaggy informed as he handed it out.
"Oxford," Velma read.
The Gang all looked at each other.
Back at the Hospital.
Cachinga stood outside Rick's Room Door.
"There he is,Sheriff,Arrest that Native," Fred ordered.
Louis did not like doing this,it felt wrong.
"Arrest me, What on earth for?" Cachinga questioned.
"These kids,uh,they say that you are that Headless Thing that's been whompin on Dr. Spartan,I tend to agree,Take him away," Sheriff Stone commanded.
"No,there's been some mistake,this is ridiculous,I'm,I'm British," Cachinga responded.
"Sorry,It will all makes sense soon," Louis mouthed to Cachinga.
Cachinga stood silent.
Louis mouthed for him to continue fighting.
"No,no,Stop groping me,you Rapscallion," Cachinga shouted as they took him away,he understood enough now.
"Good job,for once,I think you got it right,repeat that to anyone and I will deny it," Sheriff Stone complemented.
"Why I think that is the nicest thing I've heard from you,Sheriff," Louis commented.
Sheriff Stone grunted as he left.
"What's going on out there?" Rick asked.
Fred and the Gang ran and rolled into the room.
"It was Cachinga,he was pretending to be the Headless Horror all along," Fred announced.
"I never trusted that guy," Rick said.
"Uh,yes you did," Louis warned.
"Wait,that means the Curse is fake,there's no Creature,ha,ha,I can go back to the Jungle,live the life of Adventure again,it's gonna be alright," Rick cheered as he gave Fred a High Five.
Rumbling started to happen again.
The Gang gasped all was going according to plan.
A Hole appeared in Rick's Hospital Room.
It was the Headless Horror.
It roared and the Gang screamed.
"I don't think so," It stated.
It shrieked.
Louis covered his ears and then Scooby also covered Louis's ears.
"Let's get him out of here," Fred ordered.
Shaggy and Scooby jumped onto the Hospital Bed as Fred pushed it.
The Girls were the first to run out,the Boys went out next.
Louis was the last to come out besides the Headless Horror,He rolled towards the Hospital Bed.
The Headless Horror followed Louis out.
Louis was trying to keep up with it.
"Come on,Louis," Scooby shouted.
"I'm trying," Louis answered.
He kept rolling but the Headless Horror had already caught up and grabbed his Wheelchair.
Louis used a lever that was on his Wheelchair it launched him out of the Wheelchair and into the Sky.
Louis was about to fall on the ground when Scooby grabbed his hands in the nick of time and pulled him onto his bed and onto his lap as he sat on the Rail of the Bed.
Daphne and Velma led as they noticed a Woman in a Wheelchair coming.
"Daphne,Velma,get on," Fred commanded.
"Noooo,nooo," Velma yelled as they both jumped on as they flew past the Woman in the Wheelchair.
"Sorry," Louis apologized.
The Headless Horror jumped towards them,they made a Sharp Turn as the Headless Horror missed just missing them,it bit onto a Desk and threw it at them.
It almost hit Louis in the Head,until Scooby made his head duck.
When it was about to hit Scooby's Head,Louis made him duck as it missed them all.
The Headless Horror jumped towards them and bit more Furniture throwing it at them as they all missed cause they made sharp turns.
It roared.
The Bed spiraled out of control from all the weight.
The Objects almost hit Shaggy but missed
"Doors,Doors,Doors," Louis shouted warning them of the upcoming doors they were about to hit.
"Look out," Scooby yelled.
The Bed spiraled through the doors of the First Wing of the Hospital.
"EEe," Fred said.
The Hospital Bed hit the Ramp leading out of the Second Wing and into the Front Desk and Waiting Room.
From the Bump,Louis ended up leaning mostly out of the Hospital Bed about to fall off until Scooby grabbed his hand.
"I've got you," Scooby warned.
"I don't have a doubt," Louis replied.
"Uh oh," Scooby said as Louis's hand started to slip out of Scooby's Paw.
"I'm slipping," Louis warned.
"Hang on," Velma ordered as she tried to grab as well.
Before she could,Louis's hand slipped out of Scooby's Paw and he fell out of the Bed.
Before he could hit the ground,Fred used his hand to reach out from the other side and grabbed Louis's hand.
He grabbed it and swinged back around and onto the Bed again.
He landed right back onto Scooby's lap.
Scooby used his Front Paws to act as a Buckle Seat for Louis so he wouldn't fall out again.
The Headless Horror roared.
They were headed towards the Entrance when Shaggy said.
"Zoinks,We're never gonna make it," Shaggy informed as he held on.
"I'm gonna hold you up to the sky,now when I say now, use both your hands and grab that Fire Extinguisher,alright," Scooby notified.
"Okay,Scooby," Louis agreed.
"Yeah?" Scooby wondered.
"Don't drop me," Louis requested.
"I won't,I will never let that happen," Scooby reassured.
"Good,I trust you," Louis replied.
"And I trust you," Scooby responded.
"We're doomed," Shaggy complained.
"Now," Scooby commanded.
Louis used his hands to grab the Fire Extinguisher.
Scooby lowered him down and Louis gave it to Scooby.
"There, Now what," Louis asked.
"Grab onto my Chest," Scooby ordered.
"There's nothing to grab onto,It's just Fur," Louis informed.
"Oh,right,um,Wrap your arms around me," Scooby said.
"Uh,Around where?" Louis wondered.
"Does it matter?" Scooby questioned.
"Well,no,I just wondered if you had a preference?" Louis asked.
"Just don't grab onto my head,arms, or neck, I need it,Just grab onto anywhere but those places," Scooby explained.
"Okay,I'll grab onto your waist," Louis mentioned.
"Ew,that's make me uncomfortable," Scooby complained.
"Okay,about your Feet," Louis suggested.
"No,that's disgusting,besides,they stink,remember," Scooby reminded.
"Oh,right,Blech,Well,I'm not grabbing onto anywhere I shouldn't," Louis said.
"I wouldn't expect you to," Scooby added.
"Well,you said anywhere," Louis pointed out.
"Just choose a Place," Scooby ordered.
"Guys,We're gonna die if you two don't hurry up," Velma shouted.
"We're working on it," Louis and Scooby responded in unison.
"How about your nose?" Louis mentioned.
"No,Wait,I just said nowhere on my head or neck," Scooby warned.
"Uh,no,You said not your head or neck," Louis notified.
"Yeah,My Nose is on my head," Scooby stated.
"Uh,I highly disagree,it's on your muzzle," Louis pointed you out.
"You have got to be kidding,We are going to die," Daphne whispered to Fred and Rick.
"Just pick one," Scooby demanded.
"Uh,Fine,How about your leg?Or, Do you have a problem with that too?" Louis suggested.
"Alright,that works," Scooby agreed.
"Finally," Louis commented.
Scooby stuck his tongue out at him.
Louis slapped his tongue when he stuck it out.
Scooby grunted.
Louis grabbed onto Scooby's legs and laid his head on them,worried they were about to die.
"Okay,That feels weird," Scooby complained.
"You...Told...Me...Too," Louis reminded.
"I didn't tell you to bury your face in my legs," Scooby retorted.
"Just Throw it,or Spray it,just do what you were going to do," Louis demanded.
When the Headless Horror got close enough,Scooby sprayed it in the Face with the Fire Extinguisher.
They were close to the Entrance.
"Alright,you can let go of my legs now," Scooby requested.
"Okay,great," Louis replied as he grabbed Scooby's face and held onto that now.
"Hey,I didn't say you could do that," Scooby complained in a muffled voice.
"Well,I'm sorry,If I still need to hold onto something or I fall out,oh,you have soft legs by they way," Louis complemented.
"I guess you're right,and,Thank you," Scooby thanked muffedly.
"Ew,The things they say," Velma muttered hearing it.
The Hospital Bed rolled out the Entrance and went to the side.
Fred stopped with his hand and pressed the Button on the Remote when the Headless Horror came running towards them.
A Net came from the side and got it.
"Gotcha," Fred announced.
"Yes,Good job,Fred," Louis congratulated.
"It worked,I think you can let go of my face now," Scooby informed his voice still sounding muffled cause of his face being held onto.
"Oh,right," Louis answered as he let go.
The Sheriff's Car came driving back with the Siren on.
"What in the name of Kettle Corn is going on? I thought you said he was the Creature," Sheriff Stone questioned.
"Ooh,then you'd be wrong," Louis added.
"Sorry,we had to trick you,Sheriff,but,we needed everyone to believe it was Cachinga,so we could set a trap for the Person who's really behind this," Daphne explained as she did Fred used the remote to set the Net down.
Louis rolled towards it.
"Who is none other than,Marion," Louis said.
"Marion!" Rick shouted as he pointed at her.
"But, How did you know that she'd attack? I don't get that," Sheriff Stone lashed out angrily.
"Well,if you would stop yelling,we would explain," Louis commented.
"We knew that if Dr. Spartan found out that the Curse was fake, he'd want to go back to living a Life of Adventure in the Jungle," Fred eludicated.
"A Life she definitely didn't want," Velma warned.
"Fine,I admit it," Marion stated.
"Well,you kinda have to,We caught you in the Costume,But,How? How did you know it was her?" Sheriff Stone wondered.
"We found this Ring at the Botanical Gardens, A Woman's Ring,You went to Oxford too,Didn't you?" Fred continued.
Marion sighed.
"Yes," Marion admitted.
"All the Clues pointed to Cachinga but it was too obvious,way too obvious,him not being around,the Ring,it was way too easy,one thing we know about the Mysteries,they are never easy,they take time and it is never the obvious suspect,that,and lately,I always get close to the Bad Guy," Louis explained sad at the end of what he was saying.
Scooby put his Paw on Louis's Shoulder.
"But Marion, Why did you do it?" Rick asked.
"Because I love you,Because I hate living in the Jungle,it's icky,I decided if I couldn't convince you to give up that life,I'd, I'd scare you out of it,I came up with the fake Legend of Sklar Gringat,I forged an Ancient Map to the Ruins...and put it someplace you'd find it,I knew you wouldn't be able to resist the Challenge,you would be so consumed with finding your next Great Treasure,you wouldn't be thinking of me,as usual,I pretended to break my ankle because I knew you'd send Cachinga for help and go up into the Ruins by yourself,And when you did,My plan fell into Place,it gave me a chance to sneak around the back of the Ruins which were actually an old abandoned Movie Set,The Headless Horror Costume was the Final Piece of the Puzzle,I had it specially designed and took months of Pilates to train my Abdominal Muscles to the Point where I could control the Mouth with My Abs," Marion eludicated.
"But,the Shrunken Head,it talked to me," Rick mentioned.
"I got it at a Halloween Store,You can record whatever you want it to say,I'm sorry,Darling,I never meant to hurt you,I just wanted us to live a normal life,Which we could have if it weren't for thos Meddling Sycophants, Can you ever forgive me?" Marion finished as she walked up to him and sat near him.
"Sure I do,Baby,I know I'm not the easiest guy to live with,you were just trying to get through to me,don't worry,we'll work it out," Rick answered.
As the two shared a kiss,Louis stuck out his tongue in disgust.
"Sheriff,I don't want to press any charges," Rick informed.
"Yeah,I,uh,figured," Sheriff Stone commented.
"Take me back to my room," Rick requested.
"Anything," Marion agreed as she started to push him.
"Cachinga,come," Rick ordered.
Cachinga came out of the Car.
"Thank you,it's been lovely,thanks for telling me," Cachinga thanked.
"You're welcome," Louis responded.
"Seriously,you told him," Velma complained.
"Yeah,I don't like to lie," Louis pointed out.
Velma rolled her eyes,
Before they could continue,Rick motioned for them to stop.
"Hey,Anybody hungry? How about I order us a bunch of Pizzas and we watch a Movie in my room? Who's in?" Rick offered.
"Oh,I'm in," Scooby agreed.
"Well,if he is,I am," Louis agreed as he put his hand on Scooby's Shoulder.
"Okay," Fred,Daphne,Shaggy, and Velma agreed.
The Gang began to follow.
Sheriff Stone stood there with his arms crossed.
"Sure,Why not?" Sheriff Stone agreed as he ran in after them.
Louis,Scooby,Velma and Shaggy stopped.
"We'll be right there," Velma notified.
"Like,What's up? Velm," Shaggy wondered.
"You guys need privacy?" Louis asked.
"No,it's okay," Velma said.
"Alright," Scooby whispered.
"Shaggy, I've been thinking about what happened between us at my Mom's Bookstore," Velma mentioned.
"Yeah,I've been thinking about that too," Shaggy added.
"What I mean is,I just don't have the same feelings for you anymore,but,I hope we can still be friends," Velma informed.
"Friends," Shaggy repeated.
"I'm sorry,Shaggy,now,let's go have that Pizza," Velma said as she walked away.
"Oh,Shag,I am so sorry," Louis apologized.
Shaggy sighed.
"For the First time in my life, I don't even think Pizza can make me feel better,...but,it's worth a try,Hey,Gang,save a piece for me,Hoo,Hoo," Shaggy replied as he ran inside.
When he was sad at first,the other two were going to comfort him but when he cheered they let him do his thing.
"Alright,What did you need to talk to me about? You have been trying to tell me all day," Scooby pointed out.
"Yeah,that is exactly what I am talking about,lately,you have been there for me,but I haven't been there for you,I wanted to say I'm sorry," Louis explained.
"Louis,you don't need to apologize," Scooby stated.
"Yes,I do,Friends are there for one another,I promise from now on,I'll be there for you," Louis said.
"I believe you," Scooby answered.
"Good,I had to get that off my Chest," Louis replied.
"Well,I just wanted to say that,I like it when you hug my face and when you grab onto it," Scooby complemented.
"Aw,Thanks,Scooby," Louis thanked as they started to head inside.
Scooby put Louis on his back and they went inside.
During the Movie,Louis happened to look outside and when he did.
Ed Machine and a Bounty Hunter were in the Window side by side.
Ed Machine wrote in the Window,You have a Few Mysteries left with the Gang then your time is up From Mr. E.
Louis gulped,he turned to Scooby.
He tapped him.
"Yes,What is it?" Scooby wondered.
"Could I hide under you again?" Louis asked.
"Um,sure," Scooby agreed.
Louis got out of his Wheechair and got back underneath Scooby.
Now he felt safe.
Scooby still felt uncomfortable about it,cause it still felt odd but he would probably get used to it.
"Better?" Scooby mentioned.
"Yeah,better," Louis said.
"Hey,Louis,I have a question," Scooby warned.
"Okay," Louis responded.
"Why do you go underneath me? Why did you at the Library? and, Why here?" Scooby questioned.
"No Reason,I just like being under you," Louis lied.
That was the only place that Louis actually felt safe and where the Bounty Hunter couldn't get him.
His breathing was going pretty fast,Scooby could feel him breathing pretty hard from under him.
Louis stared at the Window.
"Is something wrong?" Scooby asked.
"No,I'm fine,"Louis lied again.
Scooby knew something was off,Louis never asked this,and he never breathed this heavy unless he was scared.
Whatever it was Scooby was going to get to the bottom of it.
For his Best Friend.
It was only a matter of time.
As Scooby and the Gang continued to watch the Movie,Louis watched with them,to treasure his last bit of time with them.
