CHAPTER 004 – CLASS 1A

At long last, he was finally here, the place where his legend will begin. After wasting so much time with unnecessary bullshit, he was able to leave that all behind and take the next step towards his goal of becoming the number one hero. And so, the spiky-blonde haired teenager entered the world renowned UA grounds through the entrance gate and moved towards his class.

Making his way through the grounds and then the building, he took in his surroundings while heading towards his class. Taking in every inch of the place, he noticed how clean and pristine everything looked. It was even like this during the exams. Even the simple walls and flooring had their own grand vibe coming off them. A smirk formed on his face as he took it all in. Of course it's like this. There's no where better for my legend to begin!

A short while later he reached his destination, which was a two story tall door that was labeled '1A'. Not even hesitating the slightest, he grabbed the handle and flung open the door before entering it. Upon doing so, he noticed how the room was just a regular classroom, with many student desks lined up in neat rows facing towards the teacher's podium, desk and the whiteboard behind it.

"Tch. Of course." A little disappointed in how…normal…everything looked in the classroom when outside the room everything looked so sublime, he made his way towards the last row and sat in the middle seat. Placing his backpack on the floor, he glanced at his watch and saw that he was about ten minutes early before his first class in his hero school would begin. Deciding to just relax and do as he pleased till then, he leaned back against his chair, crossed his arms, lifted his legs and placed them on top of the desk. Comfortable this way, he let his mind wander.

He thought of who his homeroom teacher would be. He thought of what kind of classmates he would have. Not so he could be friends with them but if they could be useful for him to use as stepping stones to reach higher in the pursuit of reaching his goals. He thought of many other things during his wait for class to begin.

And the last thing he thought was about the entrance exam and his acceptance letter, which also made him remember something that made him growl. Fuckin Deku! I don't know how the hell he passed and got the same score as me. And when the hell did he grow the balls to stand up to me like that! Freaking a month ago and it still pisses me off! Fuckin… He shook in fury over that, unable to believe that the worthless and quirkless loser somehow not only passed the exams, but also tied with him for first place in both the writing portion and the practical. And then he had the gall to stand up to him. I swear, if nothing else, that damn nerd better not be in the same class as me or I swear I'll blow him the fuck up! There's no fuckin way that piece of shit was able to get in and get as high a score as me without cheating in some way!

Fuming over thinking that, he quickly controlled himself and let it go for the moment as he started hearing multiple people talking outside the room. Whatever…I'll deal with that loser if need be. For now, I need to make sure that everyone knows that I am the best and run this class. Just like always. Letting go of that for now, he composed himself while still in his same state of lounging. He looked towards the door when it opened.

Multiple people walked in at once while chatting amongst themselves, not noticing the already seated blonde who evaluated the new arrivals. A girl with pink hair and skin with black and yellow eyes…Pinky? Nah, too easy…Raccoon Eyes! There we go. And the guy she's talking to…got some messed up red hair. Shitty Hair! And let's see, a girl with some weird ass ears…Ear Lobes? We'll come back to that. And this fucker's got some weird ass elbows with holes in them? What am I supposed to call this fuck? Eh, I'll figure it out I guess. Who's next…damn, he's a tall piece of shit. Why is he wearing a mask? Wait, fuck that, he's got four arms? Heh, let's see him catch some explosions with those. And he's talking to a floating shirt…that has a nice pair of tits…of course, an invisible girl. What's next, a girl with some sort of innuendo quirk?

Right when he finished thinking that thought, one of the girls in the group that has green hair smacked a purple haired boy that was staring while drooling at her and the other girls. With her tongue. His eyes widened a little at seeing that happen. I was fuckin kidding! Eh, whatever. I bet she'll give one heck of a blowjob though. Snickering in his chair, he didn't care that they noticed him then and gave them his best glare to intimidate them.

That didn't go the way he thought it would though. "Damn it, we got a wannabe tough guy in our class…" remarked the one with the weird looking elbows, letting out a sigh.

Is this piece of shit actually talking about me? "The fuck you say?!" snapped the lounging teenager as he raised his right hand and small explosions popped out with wisps of smoke trailing off his hand.

"Whoa, chill dude," spoke out another from the group who he hadn't noticed yet, drawing his attention.

It was another boy and this one had yellow hair along with a single strand of black hair that was in the shape of a lightning bolt. He saw him with his hands raised in a peaceful manner. There's one of the pussies. Heh, that's what I thought. "Don't piss me off or I'll explode your asses!" he told them.

Again, he didn't get the reaction he wanted, which was cowering or apologizing to him. Instead he got several eye rolls, mainly from the girls in the group along with two of the boys glaring right back at him. They're not intimated by me?! Can't have that! Well, at least it'll be fun teaching them their places! A mad grin formed on his face and he was about to get up and show them who's in charge.

"YOU THERE! HOW DARE YOU!"

But then another person started yelling as soon as he entered the classroom and spotted him lounging about on the desk. That made everyone in the classroom turn to look at who started screaming out of nowhere. A tall but stocky built blue haired boy with glasses was the culprit. Moving like a robot with his arms chopping the air, he made his way quickly towards the lunging teen while lecturing him with very loudly spoken words. "HAVE YOU NO SHAME? YOU'RE PLACING YOUR SHOES ON THE DESKS OF UA THAT MANY GREAT HEROES BEFORE YOU HAVE USED! GET YOUR DIRTY SHOES OFF OF IT AT ONCE!"

Several raised their eyebrows at him but the one who was being yelled at growled and narrowed his eyes at him. "Haaa? Who the fuck do you think you are, talking to me like that?!"

The boy immediately answered him. "I'm Tenya Iida, a graduate from Soumei Junier High School and then Kaisei Academy. And I will not let you disrespect this great institution like this or allow you to continue this inappropriate behavior!" answered Tenya without missing a beat, still chopping his arms robotically with every word spoken.

"Soumei and Kaisei? Ah, you went to private schools!" growled the lounging teen. Taking his feet off the table, he leaned forward while a rather evil looking grin appeared on his face. "Listen up you four eyed elite bastard, the name's Katsuki Bakugo and I'm gonna enjoy blowing you the fuck up!" he stated without hesitation, miniature explosions popping in his hands.

Tenya took a step back, with his hands raised in front of him in a protective manner. "You would attack me, a fellow student?! That's atrocious! Are you sure you're in the right place?!"

Before their altercation could go further, another spoke up. "What a vulgar and inappropriate sight."

Both Katsuki and Tenya turned their gaze towards the speaker. A tall and very mature looking girl was frowning at them behind a single large black strand of hair that was in front of her face while the rest was tied into a spiky ponytail in the back. They didn't notice her entering the room or the boy with half white and half red hair that sported a neutral uncaring look while standing beside her. Nor did they notice the others who had walked in as well, one of which was a purple haired girl who was looking at the black haired girl from the corner of her eyes. It looked like most of the class had made their way in and was looking at the two at the center of the commotion.

When the hell did they all come in?! Eh, I'll deal with them later. But first I gotta deal with this stick up his ass prick! Katsuki was about to stand up and let Tenya, as well as the rest of the class, know who they're dealing with when the door opened once more with a loud bang. He and everyone else looked towards it again while a few jumped from it, startled.

A curvaceous girl with brunette hair and pink cheeks stepped inside the class before hunching over and panted a bit. "Whew, I made it in time." Straightening out, she just noticed everyone's eyes on her and she felt embarrassed. "Ah, h-hi. My name's Ochaco Uraraka. Nice to meet you all," she told them as kindly and confidently as she could with a small smile on her face while rubbing the back of her head, doing her best to hide her embarrassment.

Who's that? Thought the blonde bomber as he just stared at her, unable to look away for some reason.

"Another hot girl! Yes!" Everyone turned their gazes from the newly arrived brunette towards the purple haired boy who wasn't ashamed in the lightest over his comment. "What, I know many of you were thinking it too! You just don't have the balls to say it like I do!" he snapped, while pointing at the group of guys in front of him. Several from within the group looked a little embarrassed at being put on the spot like that, along with one other who felt off for some reason and didn't know why…

Luckily for them, it didn't last long. "Take your seats." A tired tone of voice made all the teenagers once again move their gazes and found what seemed to be a man in a weird looking yellow sleeping bag. "Now!" He snapped at them, making them all hurry to their seats. "Eight seconds. That took too long," he commented as he got out of his yellow sleeping bag after they all sat down. "You all need to be more attentive and move quicker. Time is of the essence when one does hero work." Moving towards the desk, he leaned down and took out a gym uniform from a bag behind the desk. "I'm your homeroom teacher and my name is Shota Aizawa. You can call me 'Sensei' or 'Sir'. Put these on and meet me in the training field after changing in the locker rooms."

Aizawa had his class perform a quirk assessment test. The way he did it was having every single one of his students perform their old school fitness tests but differently this time. And that was with their quirks. One of the girls asked about orientation and another said that the tests could be fun. That was when Aizawa decided to burst their bubble immediately. He told them that they had no time for useless things like school orientation and that their line of work wasn't meant to be fun. And because of that, he decided to make things harder on them while they did the tests; whoever performed horribly during all the tests and came in last place would be seen as unfit and expelled from the hero course. When they complained about that, he countered back with saying that the world wasn't fair and as potential future heroes, they had to be ready to fight against it. If not, then they should just quit and leave right now. None of his students left and the tests started.

After everything took the tests and performed them to the best of their abilities, they were now resting and waiting for their sensei to finalize their scores. As he did so, Aizawa thought over his students' abilities and was secretly glad that they all had potential. I don't have to expel anyone for once. Even with the final one who couldn't make it.

As he continued with the scoring, he kept watch on his students and noticed something peculiar. They're already starting to form their own groups and everyone seems to get along for the most part. Quicker than usual. Good. At that moment, a few of his students popped into his head. An egotistical blonde hot head. A way too quiet dual haired prodigy. A shameless pervert purple haired boy. Hmm, need to keep an eye on some of them though. Damn it. They're going to be problem children aren't they? Just like the other one…

Grumbling a bit, he thought for a second if he could get away with expelling them just so he wouldn't have to deal with their antics. But then he quickly shot that thought down. As annoyed as he would get, he would never stop someone from pursuing heroics if they had any potential. As well as preventing them from doing stupid things outside of school as they would no doubt do. Damn my conscious sometime. I need a raise. And sleep. Letting out a sigh, he finished with what he was doing and called over his students, who stopped talking amongst one another and gathered closer. "Alright, that concludes the Quirk Assessment Test. It'll take too long to tell you individually your results for each portion of the test, so I'm just going to post your overall score placements."

Most of the class let out sighs of relief while a few were shocked at their scores while one other was fuming over the placement he got. Several started thinking about the final line and how it was just filled with question marks afterwards. "That's it for today. For now, you all proved that you have potential so you'll be able to keep attending this university. But that doesn't mean you can slack off because if you do, I'll see it and you'll be out of here faster than you can say 'pro hero'. Understood?!"

"Yes, sir!" answered the class together at once, their pondering cut short at the moment over the final placement.

"Good. Head back to class, grab the syllabus packets and read them. That's it for today. If you want, you can check out the campus but you can't go to your dorms yet until after class this Friday. Also, make sure to have your belongings ready for pickup on Wednesday evening for the delivery drivers. Are there any questions?"

A few raised their hands and he nodded towards one of them. "Aizawa Sensei, can we pick our own rooms?" asked Minoru.

"They're already pre-selected." Ignoring the small boy's saddened look, he turned to the other student whose hand was raised. "Yes, Ashido?"

"Why can't we move into the dorms now? And anything else we should know? There wasn't much written in the packets we got in the mail," she asked and several others nodded in agreement.

The gruff and tired looking teacher lowered his gaze a little and rubbed his forehead with both hands. "Damn it Nezu, you were supposed to give them all the details in the letter." They heard their teacher's whispered words but said nothing and waited for his answer. He stopped and looked back up at his class. "Ordinarily you would move into your dorms before classes began. However, there were some last minute changes needed to the dorms so that's why it was pushed back till Friday. And yes, there will be curfew. All of you must be in your own room by 10pm." Hagakure's arm that raised up halfway, dropped down at hearing that. "Though you're all adults at eighteen years old, you're still growing and going through hormonal changes. Even so, we expect you all to be responsible and mature in what you do. Don't force us to take drastic measures because of stupid actions. Remember you're all here to pursue a career in being a pro hero. Giving that up for just a night of fun or unsure feelings is pointless and ruins lives and futures." His words cut through his class and many of them, especially the girls along with several of the boys, reddened at hearing that.

"Anyways, all the classes will have their own dorm building, complete with shared kitchen, living quarters, gym and will consist of several floors, including the ground floor that has most of the shared areas. Each room will have its own bathroom and shower." The rest of the class, which were Kaminari, Jiro, Uraraka, Sato, Asui and Ojiro lowered their hands. "Before any of you ask any more questions about the dorms, you'll get your answers on Friday when you finally move in after classes. Any other questions related to class itself that needs to be answered now?" he asked them with a hint of urgency in his tone. Enough already. I need sleep…especially after last night!

A hand was raised high into the air. "Sensei, can you explain as to why we only have nineteen students in our class? Shouldn't it be twenty just like class 1B? Has there been an error made within UA?" asked Iida, chopping his right hand without even realizing it.

His question made several of his classmates think about that once more, with a few even remarking out loud how they were curious about that too. "Silence!" At once the class went quiet, seeing his hair standing straight up with his eyes glowing red for a moment. Every single student in his class felt off, as if a part of them was sealed away. The feeling faded away when his hair fell back down and his eyes stopped glowing. "Good. As for the final placement and why we're short one in our class…there was supposed to be another, but they're unable to at the moment. They may or may not be joining us later and we'll find out soon enough."

His vague answers didn't satisfy his class and several began asking questions about this mystery student that could be joining them later. From who they are, what quirks they have, to what happened and whether they were a girl or boy, the nonstop questions annoyed the gruff teacher to the point of using his quirk again. "Enough!" Silence within the class again. "No more questions! You don't need to know anymore that what you've been told. Now, go get the syllabus and we're done for today. Dismissed!" Without waiting for their reply, Aizawa turned away from his class and walked away hurriedly, dreaming of the comfortable sleeping bag that was calling his name.

Seeing their teacher leave made the students look at one another with questioning gazes. Many of them shrugged before they began to disperse themselves, heading towards the locker rooms so they can shower and change.

"What a day huh?"

"You can say that again."

"Today was so awesome! And everyone was pretty manly!"

"Hey, so how often do you train?"

"Depends on my mood but I shoot for at least three times a week."

"One of my hobbies? Well, I like playing games when I'm not training."

"Me too! Single player or online?"

"Hey, what gym do you go to?"

"Why, you want to join?"

As the boys of class 1A changed in their locker rooms, multiple conversations came up between several groups that consisted most of them. Yet several kept to themselves, either not bothering to get involved, such as Bakugo, Todoroki and Tokoyami while others were too too shy or just not much of a talker, such as Koda and Shoji. The ones who were talking however, were sharing their interests, their hobbies, to what they thought of their homeroom teacher and other things. It was mostly harmless small talk, used to get to know each other better since they would be together for the next three years if none of them failed. In a particular group however, a certain other topic was being discussed.

"Dude, we got some bomb ass girls in our class!"

"I know, right?"

"Which one tickles your fancy?"

"They all do! Well, almost all of them. Just not the washboard."

"Minoru, that's messed up. She's still cute."

"Then you can have her Kaminari. I'll have the rest!"

"Hey, you can't have them all. And don't be so shallow. Now, pick one!"

"Alright fine, Sero, don't get your panties twisted! Hmm, honestly, if I had to choose just one, it'll be kinda hard but it'd probably be Yaoyorozu! She's got the best tits I've ever seen, especially on a girl around our age!"

"SSSSHH!" Kaminari shushed his short friend, who was talking loudly at the moment. "Dude, keep it down. Their locker room is right next to ours!"

"Yeah man, plus you wouldn't want Todoroki to hear you say that," advised Sero afterwards. All three of them glanced towards their half white and red haired classmate dress into his school uniform, away from everyone else. It didn't seem like he heard them at all. Letting out sighs of relief, the three looked at each other again. "That was close."

"Why are we being cautious?" asked Minoru, confused as to why they were being like this.

"Dude, didn't you see how powerful Todoroki is with his ice? And didn't you see how close Todoroki and Yaoyorozu stayed to one another? I bet you they're together," reasoned Sero.

"So?" scoffed Minoru. "Even if he is so powerful…even if they are together, doesn't mean I can't talk about how hot she is!" Kaminari and Sero glanced at one another and shrugged, agreeing that their mutual perverted friend did have a point. Kind of. "So who are you picking?" asked the purple haired boy before they continued with their perverted talks.

In another part of the locker room, a certain blonde haired teenager was close to exploding. He couldn't believe how he got third place in the test. He's supposed to be the best, the next number one hero! How could anyone else compare to him? Grinding his teeth and putting extra strength into everything he was doing, which made a lot of noise as a result. He was making some of his classmates notice his state and they became concerned.

One classmate however, bravely went up to him to check on him. "Yo, what's up bro? Why so angry?"

"Fuck off!" shouted the blonde bombardier, snapping his gaze to the one who spoke. "Shitty hair!"

His red haired classmate, Eijiro Kirishima, was the one who came up to him and he frowned at his words. "Dude, not cool. You know you have the same type of hair style as I do right?" A growl was his answer before the blonde looked at his locker again. "Ah c'mon, Bakubro, quit being such a grouch!" he said as he clapped a hand on his shoulder.

His brave, or perhaps foolish action, made Bakugo glare at him. "You have five seconds to move your hand before I blast you into next week!" The locker room went quiet after his loudly spoken words were heard by everyone and all eyes went towards their location. Poor Koda looked frightened and moved to be further away from the altercation. Shoji, Sato and Tokoyami however readied themselves in case a fight actually happened. "Five…four…"

"Both of you should stop this act of violence at once!" said Iida as he lectured from his spot but neither of the two listened to him.

"Three…"

"You can try but I don't think you'll get the results you're looking for," replied Kirishima with a grin.

"Wanna bet? Two…"

"Sure! Let's go! I'm ready for a rumble!"

"Your funeral. One…" *BOOM* A sudden explosion, though thankfully not too large, was let go in point blank range of Kirishima's chest. It pushed him back many feet with smoke trailing from his body while his shirt was badly singed. Even though he was blasted within close range, he was saved from almost all of the damage thanks to his hardening quirk that he used at the last second. Seeing his classmate still standing after a close range blast, Bakugo had to admit that he was slightly impressed. Slightly, since it was one of his smaller explosions. "Hmph, at least you're not as useless as everyone else here," retorted the blonde, causing several in the locker room to send back their own retorts, which Bakugo ignored.

As the smoke trails cleared up around him, Kirishima grinned while rubbing his chest a bit. "Told ya. But damn, that was sick! Pretty manly of you to keep your word! You're gonna have to hit me harder than that to damage me though!"

Grinning like a madman, Bakugo decided then that maybe, just maybe, this extra with shitty hair might actually be worth something. "I'll take you up on that challenge! Don't come crying to me when you're blown the fuck up!"

Pounding his fists together, Kirishima looked pumped up. "We'll see about that. Haha! Sweet, just found a new training buddy! Hell yea!"

"Is that what just happened?" asked Sato for everyone there, since they were all legitimately confused over what they just witnessed.

"Bakugo and Kirishima found another who has the quality which they seek to use to improve themselves in their training," stated Shoji quietly.

"Why not just ask instead of literally starting a fight first?" asked Sero.

"Because a true warrior knows that to earn respect from another fellow warrior, it is to prove their worth as one," stated Ojirio as he took off his combat gloves from his hands and tail.

"In order to prevail over darkness, one must first accept darkness," added Tokoyami.

"What the hell does that mean?" questioned Sato again for many of them, turning towards Koda and Aoyama.

Koda just shook his head and stayed quiet while Aoyama spoke. "It doesn't matter for their barbaric ritual is nothing compared to my twinkling, oui?" Sato just let out a sigh and finishing up his changing.

"Does anyone know what's going on anymore?" asked Kaminari as he looked at his friends, Sero and Minoru.

Mineta rolled his eyes at that and spoke loudly, his words being heard by everyone in the locker room. "Ah, who gives a shit about all that? All that matters is finding the perfect girl! And our class has several! You can't say I'm wrong!" he told them all before he started daydreaming about the females in his class.

His words made his fellow classmates think about the girls in their class and some decided to get to know them better. However, a few others thought a little more than that. One wanted to ask out his childhood friend out who he also admired for her bravery and confidence. Another thought he didn't care what she did as long as he got what he wanted in the end regarding their families arranging everything. And one other had a certain brunette girl's image appear in his mind and he couldn't understand as to why…

Multiple showers were being used at once within close range of one another. The girls of class 1A wanted to clean themselves up before heading home. None of them were expecting the day to be like it was but they quickly got over it, deciding that it was UA, the top university for training future heroes and things would be done differently than the norm. As for their homeroom teacher however, they had some particular thoughts about his methods.

"I can't believe he was serious about expelling someone on the first day! He's so strict!" whined Toru while showering and talking to Mina who was in the shower next to hers.

Nodding in agreement, Mina let out a sigh. "Yeah, huh? He got all serious when we mentioned having fun…"

"You mean when you mentioned that, right?" teased the invisible girl, making her friend pout while flushing, her pink cheeks turning slightly purple. "But yeah, he needs to chill and not be so unfair. Don't you think so Asui?"

Both Mina and Toru turned to their left, where Tsuyu was showering in the stall as well. Looking at the two while washing her long green hair, the frog girl tilted her head slightly. "Not really, kero. I mean, we are in a hero school and heroes have tough jobs. And I think he just needs to get some sleep because he looks so tired," she answered bluntly before taking on a concerned look. "You okay, Ashido?"

Mina was in a trance for a moment due to her friend's green colored hair reminding her of yesterday's events and who saved her. Calling out to her a second time made her shake her head and snap out of it. "Oh, just thinking about something that happened yesterday. Sorry Asui…"

"Call me Tsu."

Mina smiled at that. "Okay, then call me Mina."

"Hey, what about me?" interjected Toru with a sullen tone. Both girls chuckled and told their friend that she could do so as well. "Great! Then you can call me by my first name too!" The three exchanged smiles with one another and nodded. Toru took this opportunity to ask her newly made friend a question regarding what she just mentioned since she was curious over it. "So, you okay Mina? What happened yesterday?"

Mina glanced at Toru before looking at Tsuyu, noticing the interested gaze on her face as well. "Well, it's kind of a touchy subject, so I can't really talk too much about it…" Stupid papers saying I have to keep my mouth shut about who was there and what really happened or else I get in trouble! I wonder what Death Arms knows and what's he hiding about him? Seeing her quiet, Toru repeated her question and Mina let out a sigh before speaking. "All I can say is that someone saved my life yesterday and your green hair reminded me of him Tsu," explained Mina absentmindedly, even after thinking about what she wasn't supposed to do, as she finished up scrubbing her arms and started working on her legs.

"My green hair? Why, kero?" asked Tsuyu, perplexed over how that could be important in remembering someone.

Shit! I said too much! Ah, whatever, how is Death Arms supposed to know? "Well, its cause the person who saved my life…he had green hair too and he looked like he was around our age."

Momo, Ochako and Kyoka, having finished showering and drying themselves, froze in the middle of getting dressed as they all heard Mina say that. Each of them turned to look at their pink haired friend while the image of a specific person appeared in their minds.

He had green hair like you! He even had those dots on his face! Tsuyu remembered what her sister said right when she finished washing her hair and turned off the water. She tilted her head while placing a finger against her cheek. "Green hair? Did he have freckles too?" she asked with interest.

"YES!" When she asked that question, she was expecting Mina to answer. So when another did instead, she jumped in surprise and so did the others. All of them turned to look at the one who startled them. Seeing them staring at her made the black haired girl become embarrassed, her cheeks reddening quite a bit. "I apologize. I didn't mean to react in such a way. Please forgive my outburst. But, you did say green hair right? And he has freckles as well Asui? Do you know him?" she asked the frog girl, hope swelling in her chest that she could find out some information about the one who was there for her in her hour of need. Unknown to her, several others shared the same feeling, with one of them feeling something else as well as she glanced at the black haired girl from the corner of her eyes.

However, she and the others were met with disappointment when Tsuyu shook her head. "Call me Tsu and no, sorry Yaoyorozu. I only asked because my sister was lost yesterday for a while but she said that someone with green hair and freckles helped her find me. But I didn't see who it was since he left quickly after we found each other," informed Tsuyu.

"I see." That sounds like something he'll do, since he did the same with me. Before getting lost in her thoughts, she turned to look at the most unique looking individual amongst them, who locked eyes with her. "And this…savior of yours…Ashido…you never answered. Did he have freckles as well? And did they look like diamonds if you were to…'connect the dots'?" asked Momo, doing her best to remain calm, even though her heart was beating rather quickly.

Her question made not only Mina's eyes widen, but also Ochaco's. Kyoka felt several things but kept her expression neutral for the moment. Yet both of them started feeling anxious over hearing the pink haired girl's answer as well, hearts beating a little faster. "Yeah, he did. How did you know?!" asked a stunned Mina.

All eyes turned to the top student in their class who flushed even more at their collective gaze on her. Turning her face towards the side slightly, she hugged her uniform's blazer close to her chest with both hands. Quiet for a moment, she then answered in a whisper but they heard her even with the sounds of the running showers. "He rescued me from some horrible criminals who attacked me and wanted to…do things to me…" That made her classmates let out shocked gasps. Though Kyoka knew that he had saved her, she was still surprised because she didn't know the details of it. "He even took me to a hospital before he left. But I never got his name. When you said those things, I thought that you might know him. I wanted to learn more about him as well so I can try and find him to thank him and…" She didn't continue, going silent yet her mind was going crazy. He's been helping others all this time without asking for anything in return. A true hero. And I'm finally getting some details about him…

Thinking about what she just told them, the girls there could hardly believe it. Then again, several of them did experience a selfless act from possibly the same teenage boy. Feeling multiple different feelings, the only thing they each knew was that they wanted to know who he really was and get to know him better if possible. Each of the girls there began thinking heavily about him.

Wow, it might be the same person! He saved someone else! Just like with me! Ochaco smiled to herself as she thought that. He really is a hero and we're just starting school. I hope I get to see him again soon. I'm glad I was kind to him and helped him out. I would definitely like to be friends with him at the very least. Her heart rate increased as she imagined him in her mind. As she continued thinking about him, her perpetually pink cheeks turned even pinker.

Maybe it's the same guy…to think, I wasn't the only one who was saved by him. Strong, kind, selfless and a major hunk! Mina grinned to herself, with her pink skin turning slightly purple over her cheeks. That's the kind of guy I need in my life. A sudden image of her childhood friend appeared in her mind. Kiri? Ah, don't do this to me brain! As much as I would've liked to see what could happen between us, I don't think it'll work out if we tried it. Unable to control her thoughts, she continued thinking about both her childhood friend and her savior after getting out of the shower.

With Mina debating in her mind, near her Toru had left the showers and was now drying herself while her mind raced. So, we have a guy with green hair and freckles who's apparently saved Yayorozu, Mina and helped out Tsu's sister find her family. Why haven't we heard anything about this guy in the news or something? Maybe they're hiding his identity because he's a sleeper agent! That could be it! Maybe he's already a pro hero and he just looks young! That'd be perfect cover anywhere! Toru started getting dressed while her brain started making up scenarios that would fit her assumption.

Over at her locker, the purple haired girl was feeling uneasy about what she just learned. I don't know what's going on here, but it looks like Midoriya crossed paths with them from the way they're acting. But it couldn't possibly be him right? There's no way that he helped out all of them who are much prettier than me…Fuck, where did that come from?! Shaking her head slightly to get that train of thoughts out of her mind, she got back on track to what she was thinking before. Anyway, yeah, it's not possible. Of course there are other green haired boys our age with freckles. Yeah, there has to be an explanation… Looking around, her gaze fell onto the most mature looking girl in their class. Her eyes narrowed slightly before looking away and wondered if she was being genuine or just playing an act. Yaoyorozu's giving me weird vibes. Something's not adding up. For her to act this way…but her family treating Midoriya like shit and her being so close around Todoroki…it has to be an act! She can't possibly feel this way for real right? And how she talked about others in class and the way she behaved…I bet she's thinking she made a mistake behaving like she normally does and now she's just trying to act like one of us before screwing us over! I won't let her do that to me! Or to anyone else! Especially him! I swear I will stop her from doing that! No matter what!

While Kyoka made that promise in her head to protect Midoriya and others from being mistreated by Momo and her family, the frog like girl was in the middle of getting dressed. Tsuyu's respect and admiration for this green haired boy with freckles had grown after hearing what he did for his classmates. To think, such a good guy actually exists if it's the same person. I guess Satsuki constantly talking about him makes sense now. I wonder, does she have a crush on him? She chuckled quietly to herself. No, she's too young. But the others… Glancing at the other girls, Tsuyu noticed their states. I wouldn't be surprised if one or all of them started crushing on him. Maybe we'll see what happens if he ends up being in our school. I wouldn't mind getting to actually meet him and get to know him too. She placed a finger against her cheek once more and titled her head as something sprung up in her mind suddenly. "Hold on…I remember something else, kero. My sister also told me his name," she said out loud all of a sudden, drawing everyone's attention to her.

"His name?! What is it?!" Instead of Momo asking this time, the person speaking was the brunette of the group, who was now the center of attention. Blushing heavily under their surprised stares, Ochaco let out a small chuckle before rubbing the back of her head. "Hehe, sorry. Ah, I was saved from the zero pointer robot by a boy around our age who had green hair and freckles. I never got his name either but it could be the same person…"

"Is that so?" questioned Mina for them all with barely contained curiosity. Ochaco nodded. "Interesting. Looks like most of us had a run in with this mysterious savior…who's very brave but seems to be shy since it doesn't look like he wants attention...I wonder why. Hmm…so, Tsu, what's his name?" she asked, wanting to know more about this green haired savior and her classmates before she started her usual teasing antics.

All eyes were on the frog girl now who answered her new friend's question. "I think my sister said his name is Izuku Midoriya."

*THUD* They all turned to look at their purple haired classmate, who had just finished getting dressed and was about to pick up her backpack. But instead she dropped it onto the floor after hearing the name and froze in her spot. "Did you say…Izuku Midoriya?" she asked quietly and Tsu nodded.

"Don't tell me he helped you too?" asked Toru with disbelief evident in her tone of voice. When Kyoka didn't answer and remained silent, all the girls there had their eyes widen and they were silent for a moment. Until the invisible girl decided to voice her thoughts. "So, let me get this straight…all of you were helped out by a boy who seemed to be around our age with green hair and freckles. And you all think it's the same guy? This…Izuku Midoriya?" asked Toru, looking at each of the girls in turn.

"It's possible. Not many with that kind of hair and facial features," remarked Momo, making Kyoka glance at her because of her comment basically nullifying her previous thoughts. I should've brought the picture with me, thought Momo. Then we could've confirmed it with most of us besides Tsu. I could make a new one. But how would I explain that? I mean…

"He did have a plain face too," added Ochaco, breaking Momo out of her thoughts as she, and the other girls, moved their attention on the brunette now.

Mina shook her head a bit. "Really? I thought he looked cute. But if that's not what you think…"

"I didn't mean he was ugly!" replied back the brunette hurriedly, waving her hands in front of her.

"You both think he's attractive as well?" questioned Momo, feeling something within her that she never felt before and not realizing what she just said. Her question made Kyoka glance at her again, but this time with narrowed eyes.

"Oh, so you both think he's cute too?" asked Mina with a teasing smile, masking her own feelings of uneasiness. Her words made Ochaco blush heavily and hide her face with her hands. Luckily she remembered to keep her pinkies extended so she wouldn't float herself. Momo also reddened from her question, becoming embarrassed and turned away from the pink haired girl. "Hahaha, you're all so easy to mess with!" laughed Mina while pointing at the two.

"You're blushing too," stated Tsuyu bluntly as she put on her shoes while looking at her classmates.

"What?! No I'm not!"

"Then what's with the purple cheeks, kero?"

"That's just because of the hot shower I just had!"

"Right. And I'm an eagle."

"Whatever! Uraraka, how did he save you from the zero pointer?!" asked Mina suddenly, trying to get the spotlight off of her and onto someone else.

The sudden question was enough to startle the brunette out of her embarrassment as she lifted her gaze from within her hands and looked at the pink haired girl. Seeing her, and the other girls waiting for her answer, she took in a breath before answering. "During the practical part of the entrance exam, I was trapped and the zero pointer was about to run right over me…"

"I'm sorry, but what's a zero pointer?" interrupted Momo, wanting to know what they were talking about since they mentioned it several times now.

"Oh, that's right, you didn't take the entrance exam since you were one of the recommended students," commented Toru before explaining. "A building sized giant robot with treads, long arms and large claws for hands. Practically takes up the whole street and just destroys everything in its path."

"Oh my, please continue Uraraka…"

Nodding first, the brunette continued afterwards. "Yeah, so, I was trapped and about to be squished by it when he just appeared out of a nowhere. He jumped straight up towards its face and then punched it, making it explode!" she told them with a beaming smile while throwing a straight punch, remembering what happened.

"Wait, he jumped up to its face that was as high as a skyscraper? And he destroyed the zero pointer? With a single punch?" asked Tsuyu all of a sudden, making sure she understood what she was saying.

Ochaco's beaming smile grew even larger before she responded. "Yup."

"Wow," was each of the girls' replies, except for Tsuyu, who said "Kero," in a quietly cute way.

"Wait, didn't he get the top score in the entrance exam?" asked Toru all of a sudden.

Kyoka's eyes widened in realization as did the others but she remarked about it first. "That's where I've seen his name before! In the exam results we got in the letters. That's right, he was. He tied with someone though, didn't he?" asked Kyoka.

"It was Bakugo. Guy wouldn't shut up about getting the top score today," answered Toru, putting on her blazer while the girls chuckled over her words. "Then again, he wasn't the only one to get the top score. Neglected to mention that, didn't he? Anyway, from what I remember, he only got villain points in the exam. Midoriya got villain and rescue points."

Momo had a stunned expression form on her face. "You remember all that?" she asked in surprise, making Kyoka glance at her again with another annoyed expression.

"Duh!" scoffed Toru as she placed her hands on her hips, her action visible now because of being fully clothed. "I need to know who the strongest guys are and see who peaks my interest! Girl's gotta be prepared!" replied Toru gleefully, her classmates understanding and silently agreeing with her.

It was quiet for a little bit as they all finished up getting dressed. A couple were done already but were lost in their thoughts. Until Ochaco finished putting on her blazer and looked at Mina. "So, what about you Ashido?" asked the brunette.

"Call me Mina!" Ochaco smiled and nodded in agreement before Mina titled her head as she looked up at her from her seat. "And what about me?"

"Well, how did you and Midoriya meet? I mean, if it was him," asked Ochaco, curious about it and she wasn't the only one. Everyone in the locker room looked at the pink haired girl at that moment, waiting for her to talk.

Mina let out a sigh as she sat down to put on her shoes. "I can't really talk about it…" Several questions of 'how come?', 'why not?' and others were asked and the pink haired girl debated for a bit before deciding on it. "Ah what the hell…You already know who was there but just keep this between us okay? I could get in big trouble since I'm not supposed to tell anyone. Girl's promise can't be broken otherwise you'll be cursed with shitty luck with love all your lives! Got it?" Slightly chuckling over her choice of words, they still nodded in agreement however and Mina beamed. "Alright. So I did some last minute shopping for school yesterday with Kiri…"

"Kiri?" asked Ochaco.

"Oh sorry. Eijiro Kirishima…"

"Is he your boyfriend? You two seem very close," questioned Toru with interest.

Momo shifted in her spot slightly, the question making her think about her and a certain someone being so close to one another all day. Most didn't catch it except for a certain purple haired girl.

Mina shook her head, though she did get faint purple dusting on her cheeks that were barely visible. Luckily for her, none of the girls noticed it. "We are close but we're not together…" Glancing at one another, the girls didn't know if they fully believed her but didn't say anything. Noticing their shared looks and silence, Mina cleared her throat and continued on. "Anyways! I call him Kiri since we've been friends since elementary. We went shopping together yesterday and a lot of stuff happened."

She finished tying her shoes and then stood up before looking at the girls around her. "For starters, two villains showed up out of nowhere and started making trouble. Then Death Arms and Kamui Woods entered the store looking for them. One thing led to another and before I know it, I'm on the floor hurt with the ceiling of the store about to collapse since the support pillar broke because of the fight between the heroes, the villains and…certain other people…and then…"

She went quiet for a moment, unable to tell all the details and definitely didn't want to mention how she was practically used as a punching bag, and how she and her best friend were in the middle of it all. But then a smile spread on her face with her eyes twinkling, which was noticed by all the girls who had subconsciously leaned in closer to her at this point of her story. "…he showed up out of nowhere. Got right underneath the broken pillar and held it up, keeping the ceiling from falling and gave me and everyone else enough time to escape." She started fanning herself with her hand, feeling hot all of a sudden. "Whew, the shirt he was wearing was a little big on him but damn, his muscles…"

Her words made the girls' hearts quicken, with Toru actually gulping. "Anyway, he made it out too but never stuck around to talk or anything. I wish he had stayed. Would've loved to get to know him too and maybe even thank him for his heroic deed." She gave a sly smile while raising her eyebrows a few times, making the girls there redden over her suggestive words but two of them giggled along with her. "So, yeah, that's my story about how I met our mysterious green savior!" she told them with a beaming smile. "So, what about you Jirou?" asked Mina all of a sudden, making her the center of interest with everyone's eyes on her now.

"Huh? Me?" Seeing the deadpan expression on Mina's face, she understood. "Oh. Ah, well, nothing crazy like with you, Uraraka or…Yaoyorozu…" When she mentioned the last person, there was a slight tone of annoyance in it that no one caught. "…he just helped me and my family out with a…delivery job and we barely mentioned our names," she said, not wanting to reveal what really happened.

The brunette tilted her head at that. "How come he said his name to you and not us?" questioned Ochaco with a sullen tone, saying what was on the minds of Momo, Mina and Tsuyu who also shared that particular feeling with them.

Noticing the tone of her voice, Kyoka felt bad about that and hurriedly tried to fix it. "Probably because my parents asked him for his name before accepting his help to deliver the piano to our client," she answered and then immediately afterwards, her eyes widened in realization at what she just let slip, glancing at Momo before quickly looking away. Shit! How stupid can you be?! Gotta go now! "B-But I don't know honestly. You'll have to ask him if you ever see him again. Anyways, I gotta go. See you tomorrow," she said, trying to end the conversation and just leave. She hoped her slip up wouldn't be caught and she herself had a lot to think about over what she learned. Grabbing her backpack, she started heading towards the locker room exit.

Piano? And her surname is Jirou… "Wait, does your family own Jirou's Muscian Store?!" Momo's sudden question made Kyoka freeze. "They do right? You were the ones who delivered my piano yesterday! And he was there with you?! Izuku Midoriya, the one who saved me, was at my residence and I didn't even know?!" Multiple feelings began whirling around within her while her heart was beating like mad.

The girls alternated their gazes from Momo to Kyoka, who was looking away from the group towards the exit doors of the locker room. Damn it. Whatever, just go. Don't talk about it. "Huh, what do you know? Maybe you'll get another chance later." I hope not, because you'll probably just end up hurting him again somehow! Continuing towards the door, Kyoka just wanted to leave before things got out of hand since she was getting angry from remembering what happened yesterday.

"Wait, don't go! I want to know more!"

"Can't, sorry. Not much to say anyway. Gotta go."

"Please!" Kyoka ignored her and kept going. "Why must you be so rude? I just want to learn whatever you know about my savoir!"

Kyoka stopped in her tracks. Rude? I'm the one being rude?! This bitch! Fine, you wanna learn? Then I'll teach your spoiled ass! Turning around, she glared at Momo and growled out her next words. "I'm the one being rude? You have some nerve Princess."

Ochaco, Tsuyu, Mina and Toru all had shocked expressions form on their faces as they glanced at one another with worry and surprise. They felt that Kyoka wasn't comfortable about something and that's why she wanted to leave. And yet Momo was stuck on wanting to know about Midoriya, not noticing the vibe she was putting out and practically preventing her from leaving in peace. Looking back at Kyoka, they wondered why she would say something like that and act so…cold…all of a sudden before looking at their other class mate.

Momo was sporting an expression equivalent to someone striking her. It took a moment for her to snap out of her astonished state and replied back. "Princess?! How dare you! I'm not some spoiled, stuck up royalty who looks down at others!"

"Could've fooled me. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, Princess."

"What are you talking about?!" shouted Momo, anger rising within her.

"Hey, maybe we should just calm down and take a breather, okay?" advised Tsuyu, trying to stop their arguing.

But neither girl listened to her and Kyoka frowned before answering Momo. "Let's just say that I finally know where you got your haughty behavior from. Speaking formally, using big words, and acting like you're so proper and better than all of us. I've caught you being surprised when our classmates showed their potential during today's tests. I've seen the way you acted and how you spoke with our classmates, talking down to them while using those big words. You probably want us to roll out the red carpet for you too whenever you enter or exit a building, don't you Princess?"

"Stop calling me that!" Momo was shaking with rage but was controlling herself so she wouldn't start lashing out, while the four other girls were just lost as to what to do to stop their arguing. "And so what if I was commenting on things I don't like, find repulsive or because I'm surprised? What's wrong with that? It's my opinion! And so did you and everyone else! Why am I the only one being targeted about that?" It had been a long time since she had gotten truly angry at something. And she had no clue as to why her classmate was doing this.

"Don't give me that bullshit! I'm calling it how I see it! It doesn't feel good, does it Princess? When someone insults you? Ridicules you? Speaks down to you?"

Momo had enough and began moving towards the purple haired girl with Kyoka walking towards her as well. Seeing this happen, the other girls in the room snapped out of it and went to stop both of them. Tsuyu and Ochaco held onto Kyoka while Toru and Mina held onto Momo who started shouting in anger. "When have I ever done that to you? Or to anyone else for that matter? What have I done to you for you to disrespect me in such a manner?! What is your-"

"It's what you did to Midoriya!"

Kyoka's sudden, yelled out answer made them all stop in their tracks. Silence between them all for a moment. Until Ochaco decided to intervene, while still holding Kyoka's shoulder along with Tsuyu. "Hey, let's just calm down and try to understand one another, alright? I'm sure we can sort this out and that this is just one big misunderstanding, Jirou. I think…"

"No," interjected Kyoka, with her eyes locked onto Momo's. "You weren't there. I was. It's her fault he got hurt!"

Anger filled Momo again over the accusation. Toru and Mina started holding her back once again as she attempted to get free. It was the first time in her life she actually wanted to hit someone out of rage. "What?! I would never! How could I ever hurt the one who saved me?! How dare you say something like that!" Turning to the two holding her, she also started yelling at them as well. "Now let me go so I can teach her a lesson!"

Kyoka wasn't scared of the raging girl, even if she was the top student in her class. She was angry as well for what she did to her newly made friend. Who apparently is the most compassionate soul she had ever known after hearing the stories about him just recently with all the evidence pointing that it was him. Even if it wasn't directly her fault, she still had a hand in it. And she was going to make sure that the so called number one student in their class knew about it. "Oh really? So it's not your fault that he was disrespected, ridiculed and humiliated in your house?! Is your mom going all postal on Midoriya when she saw him after we delivered your stupid piano just some sort of sick joke your family has with people they just meet?" questioned Kyoka with rage coating each and every word she spoke.

After hearing those words, Momo's eyes widened as her heart skipped a beat with her anger vanishing at once, freezing in her spot. "W-What do you mean?" she asked in a low voice. Toru and Mina eased up since she stopped struggling but kept their hold on her.

Kyoka growled slightly before answering her. "Your mom went off on Midoriya the moment she saw him. Making him feel bad, ridiculing him by calling him a low birth peasant and saying that he'll never be good enough for someone like her oh so special daughter!" Kyoka's words cut into Momo like a knife, making her take a step back and feeling horrible over it. Mina and Toru had let go of her and they, along with Ochaco and Tsuyu, sported flabbergasted gazes on their faces over what they just learned. "And that's not all! When she practically had us pushed out of the house, Midoriya apologized to her when he did nothing wrong and she still brushed him off!"

"I-I…didn't…know…"

Kyoka scoffed at that. "Didn't know? Are you gonna tell me that you didn't tell them about who saved you? Or worse, you did and they decided to treat him like crap anyways?!"

Momo's face was one of hurt and sadness as understanding dawned on her. Did…did that really happen? Even after learning about what he did for me? Why hurt him when I was the one who was going against your wishes? Why Mother?! Momo shook her head, her eyes filling up with water over what she just heard. "N-No, it's not like that. I d-did tell them about him! But I didn't k-know they would act like this! I'll make things right with him! I'll…I'll…"

"You'll what?" asked Kyoka and waited for a moment to hear her answer but none came. "That's what I thought. You're not gonna do anything to fix it. I mean, why would you? What would you gain from it? A powerful friend or possible boyfriend you can use or help you in your advancements in life? I mean, you already have Todoroki who you're engaged in a quirk marriage with, right?"

Utter silence in the locker room, with Ochaco, Mina, Tsuyu and Toru absolutely shocked over everything they've been hearing. And now with that new bomb of information dropped, that just made them all widen their eyes before looking at the top student of their class. They had seen the two together throughout the day as well and had some thoughts about what could be going on. But they didn't think it was something like that between the two. Especially since they were all just barely of adult age at eighteen, considered even teenagers still.

Mina became really curious and interested, wanting to ask Momo about this new piece of information. But she knew that it wasn't the right time for it. Even she knew when to be serious and this was one of those times.

Momo couldn't believe that she knew about her engagement with Shoto. She didn't even know what to say to that besides some muttered words; "How…How…"

"How did I know? I suspected it but you just told me. And it didn't help either that the two of you were practically together all day today. He never left your side and you never strayed from him either," said Kyoka, making Momo realize that they had been way too obvious. Kyoka wasn't done however and continued. "Not only that, but Midoriya and I bumped into Endeavor and Shoto when we were being pushed out of the place. They had glares on their faces when they saw Midoriya. I bet your parents told them what happened. And your mom said certain things to make sure that Midoriya felt like he was nothing compared to all of you. Very proper of them."

Kyoka's information about what had happened just yesterday and how she knew a lot about what was going on in her life was making Momo feel many different things. She shook in her frozen spot while trying to respond back. "It's n-not like that. You've g-got it wrong…" whispered the black haired girl.

"Oh? Then go ahead. Tell me what it is that I've got wrong. Go on," stated Kyoka while gesturing with her hand.

Momo was silent. She wanted to say something, anything really, but couldn't. She was unable to form any more words and didn't know how to even begin. She didn't know what she could say that would have her and the others understand her position or where she's coming from. And she didn't know how she could let them know that she too was feeling awful over what happened to him…to Izuku Midoriya.

Seeing that she wasn't going to say anything, the purple haired girl let out a sigh as she shook her head. "I knew it. All rich people are assholes." Looking at Momo directly in her eyes, Kyoka narrowed her eyes at her. "You don't care. If you did, then you would've made sure your parents never behaved like this to someone who saved your life, their oh so special daughter. And you would've never agreed to go along with a quirk marriage of all things no matter what. With that said, let me give you some advice; stop messing with other people's lives and stop pretending to be something you're not. Just enjoy your privileged life, Princess and leave us peasants be." With those final words spoken, Kyoka turned around and quickly made her way out of the girls' locker room. A single angry tear flowed halfway down her cheek before she quickly wiped it away as she thought about her green haired friend.

Frozen in her spot with sullen tears now escaping from her eyes, Momo didn't know what to do. Ochaco moved closer to her and spoke. "Yaoyorozu, are you…okay? Is what…Jirou said…true?"

Momo slowly turned to her and then towards the other girls still in the locker room with her. She noticed the looks she was being given and turned away from them. She couldn't bear to look at them, with their expressions of doubt on their faces. "L-Leave me alone." Making her way to her locker, she hurriedly put on her blazer and then opened her locker to reach for her backpack. I should've known. It wasn't going to work out here either. I'll always be an outsider thanks to my upbringing...

When Ochaco called out to her, with the other girls also doing so, she snapped. "I said leave me alone!" she yelled at them as she slammed her locker door closed after grabbing her backpack. She spun around to face them with an angry teary gaze, making them take a step away from her. "You got your answers didn't you?! Just leave me alone and I'll do the same to you! And I don't need your pity!" Rushing past them, Momo didn't say anything else yet tears continued flowing down her cheeks.

Watching the top student of their class get broken down and made to leave in a crying mess did not make the remaining girls feel any better. Even if their fellow classmate was right in that she was somehow responsible for hurting their green haired savior and whether it was done directly or indirectly, they believed that this whole thing should've been handled better. Looking at one another, Mina, Ochaco, Tsuyu and Toru let out heavy sighs. "Well, this sucks," commented Tsuyu bluntly with none of them disagreeing.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

"So, how was your first day of school?" asked a woman cheerily with white hair that had a few red streaks in them.

"It was fine," replied back a young man with half white and half red hair in a monotone voice.

"Just fine?"

"Yes."

Silence. "Ok. What about your teacher?"

"Fine."

"Your classmates?"

"Fine."

Letting out a disgruntled sound, the woman was not satisfied with the other's answers. "Shoto! C'mon, it's the first day of UA that you dreamed of going to since you were a child! Are you telling me that nothing happened that was interesting and that everything was just fine?" she asked him.

Looking at his sister from his seated position beside the dining table, his expression was that of slight annoyance. "What does it matter to you anyway?" he asked her.

"Shoto, you're my brother. Of course it matters to me," she said quietly. "I want to know what you think and how you're feeling. Especially since you're not going to be home all that often anymore."

"It's not like we interacted with one another all that much anyways," came Shoto's blunt reply, making his sister frown. "Why do you care Fuyumi?" he asked her.

Filling up with sadness, Fuyumi was about to say something when someone else did. "Don't talk to her like that! Show her some respect!" chastised another in the room.

Both of them turned to look at the other male in the room. One glared at him while the other looked worried. "It's okay Natsuo, he's not…"

"No, it's not okay," interrupted Natsuo, glaring right back at his little brother. "Stop treating the few people who actually care about you like that. Then again, you are father's favorite so you probably don't care just like him!" he remarked with resentment in his tone of voice.

Feeling anger rise up within him like it did so often these days, Shoto was doing all he could to not explode. He was so sick and tired of everything. He had been for a long time. From his father's harsh treatment of him and his forceful ways in training him so he could be used to achieve that man's damn dreams that he couldn't reach himself. To his siblings treating him differently than with each other that consisted of Fuyumi being overly kind to him while Natsuo treated him like he was their father's copy and blamed him along with their so called father for their elder brother's death. And his mother…the one he was closest to…who had snapped because of that man's behavior and attacked him as a result, marking him as the outsider.

He was tired of it all. He wanted nothing to do with any of them anymore. Unfortunately he was stuck for many reasons. And the biggest reason was that damn man. The number two hero's power was nothing to scoff at and neither were his connections in the world. He was able to bury the whole fiasco with his mother and put her in the mental hospital. And he never hesitated in the slightest, even commenting that she was lucky he didn't do anything worse to her since she had damaged his 'perfected creation'.

Shoto remembered that day as the day where everything was lost. His childhood was lost. His mother was lost. His siblings were lost. His dreams were lost. His feelings were lost. He himself, was lost. And now, he didn't care anymore. He lived his life as if he was on autopilot with a perpetual glare on his face almost all the time. He didn't feel anything anymore except anger and resentment.

And now Natsuo, his brother, was putting fuel on the fire. "Don't you dare say that. I'm not like that," growled Shoto.

Fuyumi looked worried over her brothers glaring at each other and tried to stop things from getting escalated. "Hey, stop it you two! We shouldn't be like this! Nothing happened so let's just let it go and have our dinner okay?" she pleaded to them.

It went unheeded however as Tatsuo continued. "Really? You aren't? Then what about what's going on between you and that Yaoyorozu girl then?" he asked his younger brother, making him shake with fury. "Yeah, we know all about it. Damn bastard keeps talking about it all the time. You're going to mess up that poor girl's life just so you can have things a little easier. You're pathetic!" Shoto rose to his feet with his left arm releasing small flames, losing his control as his anger grew. "What, you gonna burn me too? Just like that bastard? So much for your vow!"

"Stop it!" yelled Fuyumi, appalled over what was happening and filled with fear over her brothers' actions.

But it was ignored as Shoto regained control and quickly iced over his left side, extinguishing his flames at once. When finished he glared at his older brother before he began speaking. "You know nothing of the pain and torment I've been through. I know I'm part of the reason why Toya went mad. And that will stay with me until the day I die." Hearing him mention their deceased brother's name made both Fuyumi and Natsuo become sullen yet only one of them showed it. "Even so, it's not my decision. I have no say. Did you forget that? Whether I want it or not, Endeavor has already decided. And if that somehow means me getting off the hook, I'll take it without hesitation. But until that day comes, I have no choice but to do as he says. As do all of you, who are still stuck listening to what he says. Who can actually stand and say no to him besides All Might?" asked Shoto.

Neither of his siblings said anything, unable to come up with an answer and Shoto continued on. "As I thought. We're stuck and have no way out. So I will do whatever it takes to get out. And if Yaoyorozu is the key I'm going to have to use, I will. It's not like she's saying no to this or not getting anything out of it either." His siblings grimaced at that and both wanted to say something but Shoto didn't let them, cutting them off before they could start. "And just so you know, she was practically by my side all day today without me even doing anything. She even played the piano for me and that bastard yesterday. She probably wants this to happen."

Hearing that bit of news was surprising for Fuyumi and Natsuo. They both glanced at each other before looking towards Shoto again. "Didn't know that did you? You do now so don't try to block my path towards freedom. After everything I've been through, I deserve to be free. And I won't hesitate to get rid of anything or anyone who prevents me from becoming free." He let his final words hang in the air for a few seconds to make sure both of them got his message. With that confirmation, he headed out of the dining area and made for his room, leaving his siblings behind.

An awkward silence hung in the dining room as both siblings thought about what just happened. A short while later, Fuyumi turned to her remaining brother. "Was that what you wanted to happen? You knew that he doesn't have a choice. Why do you keep antagonizing him? It won't bring Mother or Toya back," she said with sadness coating her every word.

Natsuo let out a sigh before raising his gaze to the ceiling. "He's changed Fuyumi. You don't want to admit it, but the Shoto we knew who wanted nothing from that bastard, is turning into that same bastard. Why else would he go along with this arrangement between the Yaoyorozus? Even if what he says is true about that girl, it's still wrong. Isn't it?" he asked.

No answer came from his sister and he lowered his gaze towards her. "Shoto has been changing ever since Mom was sent to the loony bin. You haven't noticed it since you're too close with him and it's been gradual. He's become cold and he doesn't care anymore. If he did, he never would've agreed to this proposal and wouldn't allow someone else to fall under our bastard father's schemes to create the 'perfect one' to go up against All Might for the number one spot," he said with anger in his voice.

Natsuo stood up and gave his sister a saddened look. "You have to come to terms with this Fuyumi; the brother you used to know and love is gone. Just like Toya. The sooner you do, the sooner you can start living your own life. Stop wasting your time and your life trying to bring this family back together. It's not gonna happen. And to be honest, you and I will be much better off." Making his way out of the room, he opened the door but stopped and glanced back to her. "Thanks for trying though. And dinner was good. Whoever ends up with you will be lucky. Take care." Natsuo left the room and closed the sliding door behind him, leaving his sister all alone.

Fuyumi watched her brother go before turning her sight back towards the half filled bowl in front of her. Tears gathered in her eyes before they started falling down her cheeks rapidly. She didn't want to start crying but couldn't stop herself. She felt so sullen by her failure to bring some sort of family connection between them all, that she just let go. Crying while all alone in the dining room, she had many different thoughts pop up in her mind that she normally wouldn't even dare to think. When she finally finished her crying after a while, Fuyumi got up and started cleaning the table. A final thought entering her mind at that moment as one last tear escaped her eyes; God, please…help my family.
