Author's Note - Hey everyone, Silent here! Thanks for being patient and here's the next chapter for ya! But before you read, some quick things for you.

I know a lot of you have been asking when is Izuku going to join the others at UA and though I don't want to spoil anything for the future, I will say that he'll join them during the USJ incident. That's gonna be in handful of chapters later but we'll see how he's doing before that as well. I have a lot of ideas and everything is connected and there are reasons for the things I do. It's going to be important for the direction I'm gonna go for this particular story.

Also, the focus isn't primarily on Izuku right now because I'm trying to build the world, characters and a few other things because that will also be important. Especially for characters that weren't explored much in the anime/manga (Class 1B for example) that I have plans for. I'm setting up their foundation so when the story continues and Izuku joins them all, it's gonna focus a lot more on him, how he affects things/people/situations, etc that will cause the spotlight to shift to others every now and then.

One last thing is that I've been asked about a posting schedule. As of right now, I cannot say. All I can say is that I'm doing my best to write whenever I have free time to do so but it is difficult as of now with how my life is going. I will say that those who are pat re on members will get things earlier than everyone else along with extra content and I would greatly appreciate your support. And I don't ask for much so please consider doing so if you're able to as that will help me become a full time writer. You'll find more information about becoming a member at the end of this chapter. Thank you in advance!

Okay, with that said, here's the latest chapter. Enjoy!

CHAPTER 008 – SECOND DAY OF UA

"Father John, you know you didn't have to give me a ride to school. I would've taken the train."

"I know Ibara, but I wanted to."

Turning her gaze from the road in front of her to the elderly man driving, she noticed something. She reached over and fixed his collar. "There. Now you're presentable for those who come to Morning Prayer," she told him with a smile.

"Thank you," said Father John as he gave her a quick look and smile before returning his attention back to the road.

"Of course. You've always been there for me. I can never repay you for all you've done for me."

Chuckling, Father John shook his head. "There is no debt my child so there is no repayment necessary. How could I call myself a servant of God Almighty if I were to ignore an abandoned child on my church's footsteps?" he asked her rhetorically.

Smile widening, Ibara clasped her hands and rested them on her lap. "Even if you weren't a priest, I'm sure you would've still done the same."

A warm smile spread on his face. "Thank you. Well, enough about me child. How was yesterday? The first day of UA?" asked Father John. "I hope it was worth all the studying and training you've done to be able to pass the entrance exam."

Ibara didn't immediately respond. Instead, she thought for a moment before she did so. "I cannot say Father. Today will barely be my second day of attending. But I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end," replied Ibara before looking down at her hands as images of a few of her classmates appeared in her mind. "Even if I have to deal with some miscreants."

Cocking an eyebrow over her last words, Father John glanced at Ibara from the corner of his eyes before returning his sight to the road. "I see. May I know what or who it is that's troubling you my child?" he asked her.

Ibara was quiet for a few seconds before replying back. "Except for one, they're not exactly troubling me directly per say Father. It's just…their behavior is inappropriate because they don't care how they make others feel due to their actions and words."

"I see. And what kind of inappropriate behavior are they displaying? And what did that one person do?"

Shifting slightly in her seat, Ibara felt embarrassed in bringing it up but still answered. "Please don't view less of me Father for saying what they did and said," she said and he assured her that he wouldn't. "One of them, a girl who I had a direct confrontation with…flaunts her body while saying provocative things. She also teases others and doesn't care how she makes them feel. She even insulted my beliefs. Another, a boy, seems to have severe issues within since he constantly wants to prove that our class is better than our sister class. And there are a few others, both boys and girls, who I've heard them say very…um, adult yet immature things during our quirk assessment tests…" Shaking her head, Ibara tightened her clasped hands to the point her finger tips turned white from the pressure. "I don't know why they're behaving this way when they're training to be heroes…"

Father John nodded a few times before replying back. "I understand what you're saying Ibara. But even pro heroes are just human at the end of the day. Everyone has opinions, wants, needs, desires…some even have hidden demons that they're fighting every day to keep at bay or overcome. You know that I've made mistakes in my life as well. And there are things that I've done that you don't know about and I never want you to learn about them. I'm not proud of any of it but those are my secrets. My issues. My hurdles. My mistakes and my trials to overcome. That is part of life."

He noticed his surrogate daughter look at him from his peripheral vision and he too turned to look at her after coming to a stop at a red light. "Your classmates are barely of adult age for the most part yes?" Ibara nodded. "Then, like you…they're still learning about themselves, about others, about the world and have room to grow and mature. Just give them time, my child. Hopefully, since you're all at UA, they will help in that regard and most will grow into better people and proper heroes when they finally enter the real world. And so will you as well my child. The day will come when you'll leave the flock and share your light with world."

Ibara shook her head. "I understand but no. I'll still share my light with the world and I'll help others to come back to God Almighty. But I will never leave you Father. You're the most important person to me in the whole world," said Ibara in a serious tone.

Feeling warm and happy over her words, Father John still wanted to make sure she understood. " Thank you my child. But Ibara, you say that now. There will come a time when you will have to move on, whether you want to or not," he said. Turning his gaze back to the road when the light turned green, he continued driving. "I've lived a long life with many ups and downs and my time is coming. I may just end up leaving you. Or, one day, you'll meet the love of your life and you'll leave me to go with him. I only pray that I live long enough to see that day and that he loves you as much as I do at the very least."

Ibara once again shook her head before facing forward. "There is no such man," declared Ibara. "No man will ever replace you, Father."

"I would hope not," chuckled Father John, making Ibara give him a confused look. "I didn't mean that he would replace me as your father. Even though I myself am just a replacement…"

"You're not. You are my Father…my Dad, as far as I'm concerned," interjected Ibara with a fierce look.

He couldn't help but smile again at that and feel better. He always did whenever she would call him 'Dad' instead of the formal title. "Thank you, Ibara. That means a lot to me. But what I meant was that I hope he's a man who loves you as much as I do but as a life partner and soul mate."

"Oh." Ibara turned her gaze to look out the window to the people they passed by walking on the sidewalk. She started thinking about what her surrogate father said. It made her remember some things that were troubling her. She remembered how society was going downhill with many people lost. She remembered how the news spoke of how All Might was making fewer appearances over time that caused villain activity to slowly rise. She thought of her classmates and how most of them are immature.

After thinking in silence for a little while longer, Ibara let out a sigh. She faced forward after they made a turn and saw her university in the distance. "I understand what you're saying Father. I really do. But I doubt there is such a man for me because of how people are today. Because of what you taught me, my standards are high and I'm glad for it. I don't want to be like other girls who just chase after any strong or handsome man they see since most of them today are spineless skirt chasers with no redeeming qualities. And if I end up remaining single, that's fine with me since I'd rather devote myself to helping people and walking God's path," stated Ibara without any hint of doubt of what she wanted.

Father John heard Ibara but remained quiet. He didn't say anything for now as he thought. They arrived at the entrance gate of UA and he parked the car against the curb while leaving it running. Turning to face the young woman, he smiled at her and placed his hand on her shoulder and she looked at him. "Ibara…it's your life so live it the way you want to. No matter what happens, do remember that I'm proud of you and I'm happy that you see me as your actual father. I will always pray good things for you in all aspects of life."

"Father John…" said Ibara quietly. She reached up and grasped his hand on her shoulder while smiling brightly at him.

"Just do me a favor please," continued the elderly priest and the green haired girl locked her eyes onto his. "Be more open minded about things and don't be so focused on one thing that you miss everything else around you. God gave us free will so we can live our lives the way we want to and we should as long as we're not hurting ourselves or others. So use this opportunity to learn many things that you may not have been able to otherwise. Just don't jeopardize your integrity while doing so. Whether from school lessons or mistakes your peers make. Understand?"

Ibara was quiet for a little while before she finally said something. "I understand. I will do my best. Thank you…Dad." Hugging the elderly man, Ibara was grateful for everything he had done for her and continues to do for her.

"You're welcome. Now, go my child or you'll be late," he said and they separated. Ibara quickly took off her belt, grabbed her backpack and exited the car. As she left, Ibara told him that she'll take the train back home so he didn't have to worry about picking her up. "Have a good day!" he half shouted out to her and she waved at him happily before hurrying through the UA gate.

Watching his surrogate daughter enter the building, Father John let out a sigh before putting the vehicle in 'drive' and left. Making his way back to his church, he grasped the cross on his necklace with his free hand and started saying a prayer out loud. "God…please watch over Ibara. She has grown in body, mind and spirit but she's still a naïve child about the world. Her heart is in the right place but I fear that many will abuse it or manipulate it. I regret not telling her fully of my past but I don't want her to see me in a negative light. But I did my best to teach her your word. I apologize for saying this but I'm afraid that even that won't be enough to help her deal with the evils of today. Please help Ibara. Guide her. Protect her. She is the only good I've done in my life and I won't be able to bear it if something happens to her due to my negligence in my parenting. Please God. And if you can't do so directly, please send someone else in your stead that'll be everything that she needs. Thank you." With his prayer finished, Father John let go of the cross on his necklace and started wiping away the tears that had escaped from his watery eyes as he made his way back to his church.

All Might was many things. The Symbol of Peace. The number one hero who was also undefeated. A charismatic person who inspired many. The eight wielder of an incredible power. A mentor to his successor. A close friend to only a select few. And those are only some of the many things that All Might is. And one other thing is that All Might is also just a man by the name of Toshinori Yagi.

And Toshinori Yagi had some problems beside the obvious health related ones. One was that he had difficulty dealing with women when they were really angry with him but thankfully that happened rarely. Second was that he wasn't great at teaching, which was the reason why he asked for help in training his successor and secretly took courses to become better. And third was that he somehow had difficulty lying to those he was close with.

"Are you listening to me?!"

Right now, Toshinori was trying to deal with all three of those problems. For he was trying to come up with the perfect way to teach his upcoming Fundamental Heroics class while doing his best to not buckle under Midnight's glare and words while trying to come up with a decent enough lie.

"Yes, I am Nemuri. I'm just trying to get ready for my class. Shouldn't you be doing the same?" asked Toshinori as calmly as he could in an attempt to deflect her questioning.

"Hmph. My class finished a while ago and they just started lunch right now," replied Midnight. "That doesn't matter right now because you still didn't answer my questions. Why didn't you tell me what happened to him at once and why didn't you tell me when you went to visit him with Aizawa?" asked Nemuri with anger coating her words, not letting his skeletal like form keep her from finding out some answers. Sure, when she first saw him like this, it shocked her but she had gotten over it pretty quickly.

Letting out a sigh, Toshinori turned to look at her with his sunken eyes. "I'm sorry Nemuri. If I had known how you would've felt, I would've told you. But we went early in the morning due to Aizawa wanting to check up on his student and see if he was going to join the class or not. We went before the meeting we had today in the morning where I told you everything about me. It was practically still night time when we went," he said, revealing the truth since he couldn't come up with anything to say instead.

Eyes narrowing over this bit of news, Nemuri crossed her arms. "Is that so? Well, I'm gonna have to have a little chat with a certain sleep deprived dumbass for keeping things from me. And why would he even think that Midoriya isn't gonna join the class?" she asked with slight venom in her voice.

Toshinori shrugged. "I don't know about that. But I do know that Aizawa is interested in some other students that were only able to get into the general course," he said without thinking but then he immediately realized he made a big mistake.

For Midnight's expression morphed into such an angry and intimidating look over his words, that even the Symbol of Peace became frightened. "Oh, is that so? Thanks for the information All Might. I'll let you off the hook. For now." Turning around, Midnight walked out of the teacher's lounge with such rage that she even forgot to sway her hips as she usually did whenever she walked around in front of others.

Watching her leave angrily made Toshinori become worried for his colleague and fellow hero. But all he could do was sigh once more. "Sorry Aizawa. I know you had a hard time already due to Eri's quirk flaring up. But at least you can handle Nemuri better than I can when she's pissed." At that moment, he remembered her rather wrath filled expression and he winced. "I hope."

Shifting his attention back to the student profiles on the table, he refocused on preparing for his upcoming class. "Alright, so here's the list of students and their quirks in class 1A," he told himself as he went down the class list for the umpteenth time that had their names, quirks, quirk descriptions and pictures of the students themselves. Making sure he had remembered their information correctly, he then nodded to himself. "Okay good. Now here's class 1B…" Moving his sight to the other list, he scanned through it and verified it as well. "Now, to make some minor adjustments to my class plans," he said out loud as he picked up another piece of paper and looked at it. Hmm…it's supposed to be a joint class exercise…maybe…no, it's too soon. They barely made connections with their classmates. Need to strengthen that first before developing bonds with different classes. And in order to do that…

Getting an idea as to how he can change up his lesson plans for his students' benefits, Toshinori quickly made the necessary changes for now and the future. Jotting them down before forgetting, he kept getting more ideas as he wrote and a smile spread on his face. Wow, they keep coming! They're all good ones! Is this how young Midoriya feels when he keeps on writing when he's on a roll? Thinking of his successor made him stop for a moment and he raised his gaze towards the ceiling. "I wish you were here already my boy. I want to see how you'll do and how you'll interact with your peers. But, you will soon enough. All that matters is that you're recovering. And when you're finally here, I'm sure they'll all be happy to have you join them. And I'm sure you'll have a good time here too." Smiling at the thought, Toshinori lowered his gaze back towards the papers in front of him and continued writing down more ideas for his future classes.

This is so stupid and pointless. That was the thought that kept coming up in his mind throughout the day as Katsuki Bakugo attended his morning classes. After homeroom class with Aizawa first thing in the morning, they then had mathematics with Ectoplasm for an hour. Then it was modern literature with Cementoss in the next hour. After that, it was modern art history with Midnight. And now they were in their fourth class of the day and they listened to Present Mic while the pro hero taught English class. And tomorrow would be some more of the same along with a few other classes.

Katsuki hated every single minute of it. He didn't care about any of that stuff because he already knew what was important. He knew how to read, write and speak both Japanese and English fluently thanks to being one of All Might's biggest fans and following his career while he was in the United States of America. And he already knew advanced mathematics, having cleared trigonometry with one of the highest grades back in high school. He also scored highly in all of his science classes from biology to physics. He didn't need anything else, especially worthless crap like modern art history or public relations.

All he really wanted was more combat training and learning how to deal with different types of quirks. Even though he loved fighting and was a natural at it, he could still get better and better with training and experience. And after what happened yesterday with being ranked in third place in the whole class, Katsuki had been fuming all day yesterday and today. He really needed to let out some steam and he hoped he would get a chance to during their first Fundamental Heroics class after lunch.

But for now, he had to deal with the boring part of the day. His eye started twitching as Present Mic started explaining the differences between three different words that sounded the same but meant completely different things. Are we really fuckin going over this shit at UA? Who the fuck doesn't know the differences between there, their and they're?! And earlier with that fuckin desperate old hag with her art history class…who the fuck cares about art history?! That shit doesn't help with stopping crime! All that matters is taking out the villain! That's how you save the day! That's how you win! We should be focusing on that stuff! Not this shit!

Gripping his pencil hard, Katsuki was close to breaking it in half when the bell suddenly rung. Snapping his gaze to the clock, he saw that the class had come to an end. About fuckin time! Quickly gathering up his belongings, he just stuffed them into his backpack and made for the door.

"Hey, wait up Bakubro!"

Glancing behind him, he saw one of his classmates who earned a little bit of his respect yesterday. "Move your ass, Shitty Hair. I'm not waiting for anyone," said Katsuki as he left the room without slowing down.

Eijiro caught up with him in the hall. "Not cool bro. We have the same hair style remember? And I told you my name is Eijiro Kirishima. You can call me Kiri though."

"Whatever," replied Katsuki led the way to the cafeteria.

Eijiro started talking while walking along with him. "Anyways, I'm glad we're done with the morning classes since I barely understood the stuff they were telling us most of the time." Eijiro reddened a little as he pictured the provocatively dressed teacher they had for their modern art class in his mind. Shaking his head, Eijiro refocused. "So, looking forward to Heroics, Bakubro?" he asked.

"Hell yeah I am. It's about time I show everyone who the real top dog is around here," boasted Katsuki with a manic glint in his eyes.

"So manly! But don't think I'm just gonna let you get ahead of me buddy!" retorted Eijiro with a smirk.

Katsuki scoffed. "You can try to keep up but don't come crying to me when you're left in the dust, Shitty Hair." Eijiro however just laughed off his remarks and Katsuki couldn't help but have his respect for him grow a little more due to not buckling under his words.

As the two made their way towards the cafeteria, Katsuki kept aware of his surroundings. He noticed the signs that pointed out where everything was located but he didn't need them. He had memorized the university's layout a long time ago for it was his dream to come here. Even with being disappointed with the normal classes that he had no choice but to attend, he didn't regret coming here for several reasons. And the biggest reason for him now is that the 'Symbol of Peace' had trained here too and would also now be teaching their heroics classes. In Katsuki's eyes, there is no one better to learn from than the top ranked hero.

Reaching the cafeteria, Katsuki saw that they were amongst the first ones there and was glad because he hated waiting in lines. Going straight towards Lunch Rush, the pro hero manning the lunch station, he requested his best meal and left a moment later with his tray filled. Finding a booth near the wall, he slid in and started eating. A short while later, Eijiro joined him at the booth and started eating as well.

It was silent between the two for a bit as they ate. Until a couple people came up to their booth and spoke to them. "Hey guys, can we join you?"

Both looked up to see their fellow classmates Hanto Sero and Mashirao Ojiro. Before Katsuki could tell them to fuck off, Eijiro spoke up first. "Yeah, sure guys. The more the merrier!" he said cheerily and the blonde bombardier could only fume while his mouth was filled with food. Katsuki remained quiet as the three of them started talking.

"Sweet," remarked Hanto as he sat down next to Eijiro and Mashirao sat next to Katsuki. "So, what you guys think of our classes so far?" asked Hanto.

"Eh, it's alright. I'm not a brainiac so some stuff just went over my head but I'm not too worried. I just can't wait for our heroics class!" said Eijiro with excitement.

"True, I'm in the same boat as you Kirishima," commented Mashirao.

"You guys can call me Kiri if you want," said Eijiro.

"Cool, just call me Hanto then," said Hanto.

"Thanks but I'll stay with Kirishima and Sero for now as I'm more comfortable with that," replied Mashirao and Hanto agreed with a nod.

"No problem dude. I'll do the same with your last name Ojiro then if that's what you prefer right now," said Eijiro and Mashirao thanked him for that.

"So I gotta ask this…" Hanto waited until they looked at him before continuing. Katsuki however barely looked at him from the corner of his eyes. "Who else thought Midnight is hot as hell? The way she was dressed, I could see all her curves no problem and the way she would walk and move around, it was like she was teasing us on purpose. Oh man, I wouldn't mind having a private lesson with her if you know what I mean."

Mashirao blushed as he remained silent. Eijiro reddened slightly while chuckling. Katsuki however just gave Hanto a look of disbelief before he started talking. "The fuck is wrong with you?" asked Katsuki a second later, not caring that they gave him looks of confusion and surprise. "She's an old hag who's probably been around the block a hundred times. The fuck you want someone like that for? Even if she is a pro, raise your fuckin standards you desperate fuck." Katsuki's words made them all stare wide eyed at him but he didn't care and just continued eating his food. Fuckin simple minded fucks everywhere, I swear. They should all just quit right now and not get in my way.

"What the hell man? It's not like I wanna marry her. It's called fantasies. I'm pretty sure you got some of your own," growled Hanto before taking a bite of his food while a scowl remained on his face.

"Whether I do or not, I have higher standards and I'm not sharing with you extras," retorted Katsuki without care.

"You really think you're better than everyone, don't you Mr. Egomaniac?" asked Mashirao.

Katsuki snapped his eyes onto his classmate with his red eyes blazing. "You wanna go right now Monkey Boy?!" he snarled.

Mashirao however wasn't fazed. "Unless you want to get kicked out of UA on the second day, wait until our heroics class. Then I'll be happy to take you on in a fight."

Scoffing, Katsuki returned to his meal. "Whatever. Maybe I should call you chicken shit instead."

"Your words mean nothing to me," retorted Mashirao as he ate his food calmly.

Katsuki was about to say something else as he raised his head but then stopped. "The fuck's wrong with you?!" he blurted out a second later after catching the look on his red haired classmate.

That made the other two look at Eijiro as well who was staring at him and Mashirao with an astonished gaze. But a moment later he pumped both his fists and had a grin form on his face. "You guys are so manly! Not letting anyone get to you! I can't wait to spar with you guys!" said Eijiro excitedly. Mashirao and Hanto were stunned at his behavior before chuckling and said the same.

Katsuki was a little perplexed over how the three of them were behaving. He thought for sure that they would run away like scared little bitches after he pushed them a little. But they were still here and dealing with him unlike others in the past. He knew when people were trying to cozy up to him so they could ride his success as he got older. But with them, he could tell that wasn't it. Unable to help himself, Katsuki had a little respect form for them. Not bad extras. But I'm still gonna wipe the floor with you all. You and everyone here will know that I'm top dog. Katsuki returned his focus back onto his meal so he can finish it and relax for the rest of lunch hour.

"Bonjour. May we sit with you?"

But then another person had come up to them and spoke. Katsuki growled loudly, preventing the others from speaking as they turned to him. He slowly turned his gaze towards the new arrivals who were Yuga Aoyama and Koji Koda. "Why is everyone bothering me?! The fuck you want French Fry?! You think I want your annoying ass around me?! Well, think again so fuck off!"

Yuga's smile turned into a frown while Koji shook a little from being scared of the blonde bombardier. "Hmph. Your barbarian attitude would dim my dazzling light anyways. C'mon Koji," said Yugi as the two of them left their booth.

"Wow, and here we thought that it would be nice getting to know you guys."

All four of the guys in the booth looked at the one who spoke and found floating clothes in front of three other girls. Toru Hagakure was standing slightly in front of Tsuyu Asui, Ochaco Uraraka and Mina Ashido and all of them were holding trays. Even though they couldn't see Toru's face due to her quirk, her tone of voice suggested that she had an expression of dislike on her face. And from the looks of the girls with her, neither were they.

"If you can't handle harsh words or situations, you don't deserve to be a hero. And villains aren't beaten with nice words and gestures," countered Katsuki without care.

"Hmph. Thanks for letting us know you're an asshole." Katsuki growled at her but Toru didn't care. "Oh, I'm so scared! C'mon, let's go," retorted Toru as she turned and walked away from him before Katsuki could respond. Mina gave Eijiro a disappointed look before following after her. Tsuyu just stared blankly at them before she too left after them. Ochaco didn't even bother looking at them a second longer and didn't even say or do anything as she went with Tsuyu.

"You idiot! How could you?!" questioned Hanto with anger while glaring at the blonde.

Katsuki snapped his gaze from the leaving brunette to the one who dared insult him. "The fuck you say, Tape Dispenser?!"

"You just pushed away four of the six girls in our class! And not just from you, but from us too because we were sitting here with you! And they were four of the five hot ones you idiot! How could you do this to us?! If I knew it was gonna be like this, I would've just kicked it with Kaminari and Mineta," cried Hanto in frustration.

Mashirao couldn't help but agree since he found the girls attractive too. Though he was focused on his studies, he didn't want to be on the girls' bad side. Eijiro didn't say anything for now since his gaze was on his childhood friend.

"Haa?!" Katsuki stared back at him for a full two seconds before responding as the little respect he had for Hanto basically disappeared. "You're one desperate fuck aren't you?! Who gives a fuck about them?!"

"What's wrong with you?!" asked Hanto in disbelief until something popped into his head. "Wait, are you gay or something?"

Katsuki's eyes bulged from his sockets. "The fuck you call me?!" snarled the blonde as his hands began to let loose miniature explosions. "I'm straighter than all of you combined! I just don't go after every pair of tits I see!"

Hanto raised his hands as if to surrender. "Okay, I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Just calm down man!"

"Fuck you!" shot Katsuki, about to get up and fire an explosion into Hanto's face.

But then he felt someone grab his shoulder hard and he turned to see it was Eijiro. He had turned back towards the guys in time to stop Katsuki. "Dude, calm down. Save it for heroics class." Katsuki glared at him before relenting. Eijiro let out a relieved sigh before turning to look at the girls seated in a booth far from them. "Bakubro, you're really cool man. But you need to work on your people skills," he said while keeping his gaze locked onto Mina but she didn't notice since she was talking with her friends.

"Fuck off," grumbled Katsuki. He returned to his meal and took a big bite. While chewing his food, he happened to glance around. The cafeteria had filled up and there was a lot of noise. But once again he found his gaze landing onto the brunette from his class.

Watching her for a little bit, he remembered how she didn't even acknowledge any of them, let alone him, as she left with the other girls. He turned away when the purple haired girl with the weird ear lobes sat next to her. Did I really push her away? His eyes widened suddenly. Wait, what?! What the fuck am I thinking?! Shaking his head, Katsuki quickly finished up his meal and got up to leave the cafeteria with empty tray in hand. Placing the tray on top of the trash bins, Katsuki left through the double cafeteria doors. Focus! Nothing else matters but being the best! These dumbasses are playing at being heroes! They're too busy worrying about useless shit! But not me! I'm here to become the next number one pro hero! Fuck everyone else! Fuck everything else! An image of All Might appeared in his mind and Katsuki grinned as he headed back to his homeroom. I'm coming to take over your spot, All Might!

Sounds of many utensils hitting plates along with dozens of people speaking at once filled the cafeteria as the students of UA University enjoyed their lunch break. Most of the young adults of different classes and different years had grouped up together. Within those, even smaller groups were formed who either shared similarities or were comfortable with one another. One such group was most of the girls of class 1A that consisted of Ochaco Uraraka, Mina Ashido, Tsuyu Asui and Toru Hagakure. They found their own booth after walking away from some of the boys in their class. A short while later, they invited Kyoka Jiro to sit with them who agreed.

Though Kyoka was sitting with them, she wasn't really participating with them in their conversations and barely interacted with them. She was stuck there because she didn't know who else to stick with and they did invite her to sit with them. She felt a little uncomfortable with them after going off on the only other female in their class who wasn't sitting with them. Playing around with her partially consumed food, she didn't feel like eating anymore since she was lost in thought. A couple minutes later, she let out a sigh.

Her sigh was noticed by the girls who looked at one another before one of them spoke up. "Hey Jirou, everything alright?" asked Ochaco with a concerned tone.

Snapping her attention onto the brunette, Kyoka's expression made Ochaco become nervous. Noticing that, Kyoka let out another sigh. "I'm sorry Uraraka. I'm fine. Just thinking about some things."

"I gotcha. And you can call me Ochaco," said Ochaco with a small smile.

"But we barely know each other," replied Kyoka with a confused look.

"So?" jumped in Mina, making them and the other two girls all look at her now. "This is how we get to know each other. We're gonna be classmates and dorm mates for the next three years! We might as well get along and get to know each other, right? So, I said this before but I'll say it again. You can all call me Mina! Alright?" said the pink skinned girl with a wide smile at them all.

"She's right. We should get along, kero. And call me Tsu everyone," said Tsuyu.

"Only if you call me Toru as well," said Toru with her arms going up and down happily.

"Ochaco for me please," chimed in Ochaco.

Smiling at one another first, they then faced Kyoka with expectant looks. Seeing how…nice they were being made Kyoka become suspicious. "Okay, what's going on?" she asked accusingly.

Their smiles faded away and Mina answered for them all. "What are you talking about girl? We're just trying to become besties!"

"Oh really?" remarked Jirou skeptically. She didn't let them say anything and continued. "After what happened yesterday? After how I blew up on Yaoyorozu, even though she deserved every bit of it, you still want to be my friend?! What are you trying to pull here?!" she asked them with suspicion and slight anger. Why did I even sit here? And they can't be serious. After what happened, they still want to be friends, no questions asked? Bullshit! They're planning something…

Looking at one another in surprise, they didn't know what to say. Until Tsuyu faced Kyoka and spoke. "Jirou, we're not trying anything. And yes, what happened yesterday is still on our minds. But we're not gonna try and force things out of you, kero."

"We know you said those things to Yaoyorozu because you had a reason to do so…and it might have been a little mean…but we can't say anything because we don't know what happened. Only you do, so we're willing to listen and try to understand what happened," said Toru with her entire body facing Kyoka so she could tell that she was facing her as she spoke.

"And we're hoping that one day we can talk to Yaoyorozu too and clear this all up because us girls need to stick together since we're such a small group otherwise we'll be thrown into chaos!" said Mina with a slight joke to try and ease the tension between them all.

Kyoka was stunned over what they said and she was about to say something when Ochaco cut her off. "She's right Jirou. We're not gonna do anything that might make you upset. And we do want to be friends with you. And about Yaoyorozu…"

She turned her head to where the last female of their class was seated and they all copied her. They saw her eating while sitting with Todoroki. As if sensing them looking at her, Yaoyorozu turned towards them before turning her gaze away in disgust a moment later.

Ochaco felt saddened but still continued speaking. "We've noticed her keeping her distance since yesterday and we know it's too soon to clear things up with her so we're giving her space." Ochaco turned back to Kyoka and the girls copied her. They noticed the annoyed look on the purple haired girl's face and knew it was from the black haired girl's reaction but they didn't bring it up. "We just wanted to let you know that we're not gonna try and force things. We know sometimes things take time. But we're here for you even if it takes awhile for you to open up to us. And we hope that Yaoyorozu will do the same with us as well in the future. We should get along cause we're gonna be dorm mates and heroes in the future. Just know that you're not alone. Okay?" finished saying Ochaco softly with Mina, Toru and Tsuyu voicing their agreement.

Kyoka was at a loss. She thought after yesterday's events, they would want nothing to do with her. She believed that even more when today in the morning they only greeted her and started talking to one another during down time in their classes. But it looked like they were only giving her some space or waiting for a way to get her to talk to them.

Kyoka had so many thoughts going through her mind that she couldn't think straight. And she was feeling too many different emotions that didn't help either. Feeling overwhelmed and not knowing what she should do, she did the only thing that seemed right in her mind.

"Jirou? What's wrong?" asked Toru as Kyoka quickly stood up from her seat.

"I-I'm sorry…I-I gotta go," replied back Kyoka as she quickly put her backpack on and grabbed her lunch tray. Turning around quickly without looking, she ended up bumping into someone. "Aahh!"

"Sorry, sorry! Shit, my bad. You okay Jirou?"

Kyoka had bumped into Denki Kaminari and because of her sudden careless action, had spilled her partially consumed food and drink onto herself before her tray fell to the floor with loud clattering sounds. Her school uniform was covered in food stains and drenched from the soda she barely drank from. Holding her arms spread out, she felt dirty, disgusted and thought that things couldn't get worse.

"Pfft! Hahahahaha!"

"Haha! Food's meant to be eaten, not worn dumbass!"

"Hahaha! Talk about clumsy!"

"What a ditz! Hahahaha!"

Kyoka thought that too soon. Looking around, she saw almost everyone in the cafeteria laughing at her except for a handful besides Denki and the girls she had sat with. The five of them were trying to tell people to quit it but no one was listening. Her face quickly turned crimson in embarrassment and her eyes watered. She was about to leave when she heard someone else's laughter over the collective noise, thanks to her quirk. Unable to control herself, Kyoka turned towards that direction and what she saw, made her start shaking in embarrassment.

Momo was openly laughing at her while barely covering her mouth with her right hand. And Shoto was giving her a judgmental look with his piercing dual colored eyes.

Kyoka felt so humiliated…so embarrassed…that she knew her face was crimson and she could hear her heart beating loudly in her ears even without using her quirk. Not wanting to be there anymore, she pushed Denki aside and practically sprinted out of there with tears falling down her cheeks.

"Jirou! H-Hold up!" Denki called out to her while taking a few steps after her with his right hand raised towards her but she didn't hear him with everyone still laughing loudly. And he didn't know that she wouldn't have stayed even if she did hear him. He watched her slam the cafeteria doors open and disappeared behind it after they closed. His arm fell and his shoulders sagged a bit. "Damn it…it's all my fault. I just wanted to talk to her," he said quietly to himself. He went back to his seat next to Mineta and a few others who were also laughing. He tried to make them stop but he failed at that too.

Witnessing all that and not being able to do anything about it, the remaining girls looked at one another with sullen expressions. "Well, that plan didn't work out the way we wanted it to," remarked Ochaco as the laughter slowly died down.

"Back to the drawing board," commented Toru in a low voice.

"This sucks! It wasn't supposed to end up this way!" whined Mina as she slammed her fists onto the table a couple times, startling her friends. "We were supposed to use lunch time to have Jirou open up to us! Get the full story about what happened! And then have her and Yaoyorozu talk things out! Our class only has six girls and we should be friends together! We're supposed to be all happy and gossipy with each other and share love stories and secrets with one another! Not this!" Finished with her rant, Mina took in a few breaths.

Her friends nodded in agreement and Tsuyu started rubbing Mina's back. "I know. I would've preferred that over this too, kero. But it's only the second day so let's just give things some time."

None of them argued with her since she was right. But they didn't know what to do or say at the moment. Until Ochaco decided that they should leave and get ready for their first heroics class. Agreeing with her, they left their booth and after throwing away their leftovers, they headed back to their homeroom.

Walking for a bit in silence, Ochaco said something that was on her mind. "You know, another thing is bothering me about all this," she said, catching her friends' attention while walking through the hallway.

"Which is?" asked Toru.

"We're here at the best hero school in the country, if not the world. And yet, besides us and Kaminari who felt bad for what happened to her, no one else really tried to help back there even though some didn't laugh," said Ochaco with bitterness.

"Hey, you're right! What the hell? How can they call themselves future heroes?!" said Toru with anger while raising her arms up and down rapidly to show her dissatisfaction.

Tsuyu shook her head in disappointment. "I guess even UA students can be petty sometimes."

"That's not cool. Not at all," whined Mina and they became silent.

"I wonder though…" started Ochaco after a moment, making her friends look at her and waited for her to continue.

But when she didn't say anything more for a bit, Tsuyu spoke up. "You wonder what, Ochaco-chan?"

Glancing at her, Ochaco noticed how Tsuyu, Mina and Toru were looking at her with expecting gazes. "Oh, sorry. I was just thinking out loud…"

"Of?" asked Toru.

"Ah…" Rubbing the back of her head, Ochaco's pink cheeks reddened a little. "Well, it's stupid honestly but…I was just wondering…"

"Wondering what?" asked Mina while leaning closer to the brunette after she trailed off again. She was about to burst from the suspense. "What? Tell us! Tell us!"

"Okay, okay! Relax!" Ochaco pushed Mina back a bit with them all chuckling before she let out a sigh and continued. "I was wondering if he would've done something back there if he was here with us…"

Knowing who 'he' was that she was talking about, Ochaco's friends were surprised that she mentioned him. Mina even had a large smile form on her face that helped hide the purple dusting on her cheeks as she thought about him. She decided to say something to keep attention off of herself. "Oh, someone's crushing on him bad…"

"W-What?! I-It's not like that…I barely k-know him. I was j-just saying…because…well…"

"Sure, sure, whatever you say girl," said Mina as she wrapped her right arm around Ochaco's neck who was reddening even more. "Don't worry; I won't force it out of you…"

"Thanks Mina. I really…"

"Ah, ah ah!" interrupted Mina while wagging her index finger at Ochaco. "I didn't finish. I was saying I won't force it out of you and instead, I'll just tell him you have a crush on him when I finally see him!" she finished saying with a shit eating grin.

"Mina!"

"Hahaha!" Mina laughed as she dashed away from Ochaco who chased after her while promising to throw her into the stratosphere if she didn't stop messing with her.

Toru and Tsuyu glanced at each other and shrugged. "At least we got this fun group," said Toru cheerily.

"True," said Tsuyu in agreement. "Let's catch up with them, kero. And maybe tease Mina about him too because I'm almost certain that she has a crush too."

"Oh really?! How did I miss that?" asked Toru as they started running after their friends. "I thought she would've been crushing on Kirishima. The way she talked about him yesterday and today."

"Could be both," replied Tsuyu bluntly.

"Oh my! If it's true, that'll be our first love triangle that we know about! Oh, things are getting exciting here! Hehehe!" Toru started cackling with glee while Tsuyu smiled as they ran after their friends and caught up with them near their homeroom.

It was a bit of a humbling experience to say the least for Momo Yaoyorozu. Never had she ever been embarrassed and brought to tears in front of her peers. The verbal smack down that she was on the receiving end of, courtesy of one Kyoka Jirou, had made her realize many things. For one, she learned how others knew of her private affairs. Another thing was that she couldn't handle things well enough the moment her confidence and belief in herself wavered even the slightest bit. And she also realized how her dream of making friends and living at least a few years of her life as a normal girl would just stay as that; a dream.

She thought how foolish she had been and how no matter what she did, she would be rejected and viewed as an uptight elite who looked down at others. Believing that, Momo came to the decision that if that's how they viewed her, then that's how she was going to act. That is until she could figure out a way to escape the predicament she was forced into against her will. She had to be patient because she knew that she couldn't just start burning bridges without securing her path to freedom first.

With that decision made while on her way back home, Momo lied to her parents about her first day of school by telling them it went well. She couldn't talk to them anymore because she knew that they only cared about her forced engagement to Shoto Todoroki and how the Yaoyorozu name would rise because of it.

Well, she knew that's what her mother cared about. She didn't know what her father thought. He was rarely home and they rarely interacted with one another. Even last night was surprise that he was home and she talked to him a little. Even so, she believed him to be the same way since it looked like he didn't care what was happening so long as things were going well. Realizing that she was truly on her own now, Momo started thinking about what she could do to achieve her goal of being free from their strings while keeping her true intentions hidden from them all.

Attending school for the second day, Momo distanced herself from most everyone else. She did keep up her prim and proper behavior and did so especially in front of Shoto Todoroki because she needed him to stay unaware of her plans. She felt guilty that she had to do this to him because he seemed nice enough and she was actually interested in him in the beginning. She'd be lying if she said she never was because how could she have not been? Shoto was the handsome son of Endeavor, the number two hero. He was also rumored to have potential to become even more powerful than him one day with both an ice quirk and fire quirk. How could anyone not be interested?

Well, Momo was definitely interested and was at first okay with the arranged engagement because Shoto seemed to check off all the boxes a girl would want in a man. He was attractive. His silent persona and serious disposition gave a mysterious captivating vibe. His ancestry was filled with famous people. Not to mention he was powerful with dual quirks at his disposal even though she had only seen him use his ice so far. Momo felt that she was getting the better end of the deal in the beginning.

But as time went on and especially after her ordeal, Momo learned that she was being naïve. Even with so many boxes checked off, it wasn't enough since there were too many left unchecked. Because even with all that, Momo didn't like that he never initiated a conversation and hardly spoke at all. He never even asked her out on a proper date or did anything a normal guy would do for the girl he was interested it. He barely interacted with her at all.

Momo also didn't like how little she knows about Shoto. She had no idea what he was thinking. She didn't know of his goals or his dreams. She didn't know what he wanted to do or achieve. And not once had she seen him show any kind of emotion other than looks of judgment, anger or just plain neutrality. He was as stiff and boring as a plank of wood. He was nothing like the main characters in her romance novels. Sure, they were fiction and Momo knew better than to compare that to real life. But was it too much to ask for him to do at least a fraction of some of that stuff? All of the forced meet ups they had thanks to their respective families to make them interact with one another so they could get closer was just a waste of time on all aspects in the end.

That was just the tip of the iceberg of everything that seemed to go wrong for the young heiress ever since the whole arranged marriage started. And she was becoming upset and frustrated from it all. As a result, Momo was unfortunately on the verge of losing hope and instead succumbing to the hate that was steadily growing inside of her. Hate for her mother's manipulation. Hate for Shoto's lack of personality. Hate for how her classmates viewed her. Hate for her predicament. Hate for not being able to find out more about her savior and what really happened to him. But the worst was hate for herself for being so weak that she was caught up in all of this. The only thing that kept her from fully tipping over was how no one knew of her true intentions and she had to keep it that way for the time being.

With her decision made, Momo kept up her 'normal' behavior and acted expectedly even while her mind was overwhelmed. Right now, Momo was trying to enjoy her lunch after barely being able to pay attention to her morning classes with her mind all over the place. Once or twice she tried to strike up a conversation with Shoto to try and have someone to talk to and ignore her problems for a bit during lunch. That didn't work since he barely responded with a few words and she stopped.

After eating part of her meal, Momo happened to raise her gaze and she found that several of her classmates were staring right at her. More specifically, it was the rest of the girls in her class. What…why are they staring at me? What do they want from me? Isn't it enough what happened to me yesterday? And of course they'd side with Jirou since they're sitting with her…I'm just another arrogant, rich bitch to them. Well, forget them! I don't need them! Forming a disgusted look on her face, Momo snapped her gaze away from them as if dismissing them.

I don't care what they think about me. I don't care what they say or do. I don't care what anyone says or does anymore. I have more important things to focus on. Momo continued eating her meal since she knew she's going to need her strength up to use her quirk for her upcoming heroics class. About a minute or two later, she heard a loud clatter from something falling onto the floor and she turned her attention to where it came from. And she found the one who had embarrassed her yesterday to be in her own humiliating position.

Kyoka Jirou was standing with her upper body and attire covered in food stains and soaked from her drink. She looked completely mortified and normally Momo would've felt bad for someone who was in a situation like that. But seeing that it was Kyoka made her smirk and before she knew it, she had joined in on the laughter that filled the cafeteria. And she even heard some of the stuff the other students said about her, making her feel even more vindicated. Haha, that's what you get! Karma always comes back!

Momo kept laughing and when Jirou happened to look in her direction, she laughed even harder while barely being able to cover her mouth with her right hand due to her 'proper' teachings kicking in. She even noticed how Shoto was giving her a piercing stare. That's right, get embarrassed! How's it feel huh? That's payback for what you did to me yesterday! Momo kept laughing and continued for a while longer even after Jirou ran out of the cafeteria.

When she finally calmed down, Momo felt great afterwards while eating her meal with a smile on her face. I feel so much better. Momo was happy that the one who gave her such a hard time yesterday, got punished for it today. She remained in a good mood while eating her meal even though she remained silent and didn't interact with anyone else.

Sometime later, Shoto stood up with tray in hand and spoke. "We should go."

"Yes, we have heroics class up next," added Momo.

The two of them left the cafeteria together and headed back to their homeroom. As they did so, the young heiress wondered how their first heroics class would be. And she thought if she'd learn anything from it that could help her. When they reached their classroom, Momo pushed her many thoughts to the side and focused. I have to stay strong and patient. And I'll escape this, I know it.

The class of 1A was seated and waiting for their first Fundamental Heroics class to begin. Many were excited and wondered just what they were going to do. While most of them conversed with one another, a handful remained quiet as they waited.

One was a certain purple haired girl. She had gotten a spare uniform from the university staff and changed out of her dirtied clothes before coming back into class. The moment she did, she kept her gaze towards the floor as she walked to her seat. Sitting down, she put her head down onto the desk while covering herself with her arms. She was still so embarrassed and didn't want to look at anyone. She could hear Mineta's and Sero's whispers and jokes about what happened to her. It made her become even more humiliated. Why me? What did I do to deserve this?

While Kyoka stayed silent, so was another. And it was because of what the purple haired girl was going through. Denki felt so bad for being the cause of Kyoka's humiliation that he wanted to apologize to her. But he just couldn't work up the nerve to go and tell her. He felt so miserable about it that he didn't even join in with his friends to talk about some of the pretty girls they saw in the cafeteria.

Sudden loud footsteps were heard echoing from the hall and every single person went quiet at once with all eyes on the door. They got louder and louder until they stopped. And then, all of a sudden, their homeroom door was quickly opened. "IT IS I, ENTERING WITH STYLE!" A behemoth of a man with yellow hair and red skin tight suit with a blue cape leaned in from the doorway as he spoke.

"OH, HELL YEAH!"

"IT'S ALL MIGHT!"

"HE'S SO COOL!"

The students of class 1A were star struck as All Might walked into the room in a rather dramatic fashion as he swung his arms and took big strides towards the front. Standing in front of them, All Might planted his fists on either side of his hips and smiled that signature smile of his at them. "Hello students! As you all know, I'm All Might and it's time for us to start your first Fundamental Heroics class! And today, it'll be…" He trailed off for a moment to build up suspense. It worked as every single student leaned in closer from their desks. Even Kyoka was captivated by him. "BATTLE TRIALS!" said All Might as he showed a large card that had the words 'Battle Trials' on it.

"YEAH! BATTLE!"

"NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!"

"I CAN'T WAIT TO BLOW PEOPLE UP!"

Seeing them become even more excited made All Might feel great even though some of the stuff the students said made him wonder about that a bit. Eh, they're young. It's no surprise they're excited to fight. They'll get over it. A sudden image of a battle junkie rabbit heroine appeared in his mind. Well, most of them. Hopefully. Clearing his throat, he got his students' attention before he continued. "Alright, I'm glad you're all pumped and ready to go! But before that, a hero in training needs to look the part!"

Retrieving a remote from his belt, he pressed the button on it. The wall on the opposite side of the door began opening up with nineteen suitcases that were labeled with the students' names being extended out from within. "Your hero costumes are ready to go. Grab your costume, head to 'Ground Beta', change in the locker rooms there and meet me near the entrance of the zone. See you there!" After seeing his students get up and go towards the suitcases, All Might practically vanished from sight as he sped away from them towards the other hero class he had to retrieve.

"Hey, so how was training?" asked Setsuna as she and her group of friends sat together in their class while having lunch. They couldn't find any good seats in the cafeteria where they could all sit together and so decided to eat in their classroom.

"It went splendidly," replied Jurota happily. "Tetsu has shown remarkable grit and I'm glad to know that my claws can't harm him while he's in his steel form. And he's quite impressive as a fighter."

"Ah shucks, you're gonna make me blush big guy," replied Tetsu while chuckling and lightly punching his friend against his shoulder who just smiled in response.

Itsuka turned to Tetsu. "Have you studied any martial arts?" she asked with curiosity and waited for him to answer since he had just taken a big bite out of his food.

Setsuna smirked at that and nudged Yui. When Yui looked at her, Setsuna started moving her eyebrows up and down suggestively. "What did I tell ya last night on the phone? Battle maniacs will probably get together." Yui merely let out a hum in response and Setsuna started laughing.

"What's so funny?" asked Kinoko, drawing attention to the green haired girl from everyone.

"Oh nothing my sweet, adorable little munchkin," replied Setsuna while smiling sinisterly. Kinoko reddened and looked away but didn't react more than that. Seeing that, Setsuna was surprised and so where her best friends but unlike them, she didn't move on from it. Oh, did she get used to me already? In just a day? Well, we'll have to do something about that. I just need the perfect set up…

Tetsu swallowed his food and answered Itsuka. "Just traditional boxing. I wanted to train in some other different styles too but didn't have the time for it since I was busy doing some other things. How about you?" he asked her before taking another giant bite.

"I see. Still, boxing provides a good foundation to build upon," remarked Itsuka and Tetsu nodded. "Like I said before, we can spar together one day and maybe I can teach you some of the stuff that I know. I've trained in several different styles. Boxing, Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Jujitsu, Kickboxing and Jeet Kune Do," said Itsuka and besides her two close friends, the other three were very impressed.

"Whoa…thass awshom!" commented Tetsu without waiting to swallow his food and then speak. As a result, he ended up spraying some food debris onto Kinoko and Itsuka who were closest to him. "Mm bad, showie!"

"Say it, don't spray it," advised Yui as she passed along napkins to the two girls who thanked her.

"Yeah, calm down buddy. I know some guys like spraying stuff on girls, but at least wait till you're alone or something. Or do you have trouble holding in your load when you're excited?" questioned Setsuna with a maniacal grin on her face.

"Too mush!" squeaked Kinoko as she buried her beyond red face in her hands.

"Tokage!" snapped Jurota in shock while Tetsu sputtered before he started choking on his food. Both males were crimson red as Jurota helped Tetsu cough out the stuck food in his throat by giving him the Heimlich maneuver.

Their reactions gave the green haired girl the satisfaction she was looking for and was cackling away. But her best friends were actually embarrassed this time over what she said. Itsuka stood up with her hand growing in size. "Setsuna!"

Yui's cheeks had turned a dark shade of red. "Inappropriate," remarked Yui as Itsuka chopped Setsuna's head.

"Owie! That was harder than usual!" cried Setsuna while nursing her head but then grinned a moment later. "Haha! That's what she said!"

Her friends let out groans over her lame joke as Tetsu caught his breath. "Don't…*gasp*…you ever stop?!" asked Tetsu after getting some much needed air back into his lungs.

"Nope. I don't have an 'off' switch. I'm always turned 'on'," answered Setsuna with another grin.

"Are you kidding me, Setsuna?" asked Itsuka, raising her hand again.

"Down."

"Owie!"

"Is it over?" asked Kinoko quietly while peeking through her hands.

Itsuka shook her head. "Sorry, it'll never be over with this one," she said while pointing at Setsuna. Said girl stuck her tongue out before laughing and throwing her green hair back behind her shoulder. "We try our best to control her but you just have to learn to ignore her sometimes unfortunately," said Itsuka with a shrug.

"Hey!"

"Facts," remarked Yui bluntly.

"No fair ganging up on me!" cried Setsuna with a pout before smirking. "But then again, maybe that's what I want," she said with a seductive wink. Kinoko squeaked again before hiding behind her hands once more and the two males just turned tomato red again.

"Damn it Set," muttered Itsuka as she enlarged both of her hands this time.

"Run," advised Yui.

Setsuna jumped out of her seat in time to evade the chops coming for her head. "Ha! You missed me!"

"I won't next time!" replied Itsuka as she started chasing after her dirty minded friend who was running around the classroom while cackling loudly.

"Is this really happening?" questioned Jurota in shock.

"Mushn't we stop this?" asked Kinoko with worry while peeking through her fingers again.

"Yeah it is and nah, I don't think we need to. I think they're just messing around and having fun," said Tetsu with a smile though he was still red as he watched the two girls going crazy.

"Hmm," said Yui, somewhat agreeing with her new friend since things hadn't gone too far just yet, even with Itsuka chasing after Setsuna.

The two girls continued running around the classroom with the red head doing her best to catch the green haired girl but kept coming up short. The recommended student kept using her quirk to split apart to escape at the last second. After a few more attempts, Itsuka was getting very annoyed and frustrated. "Get back here Set so I can pound you!" screamed Itsuka after she missed again.

"Sorry babe but as tempting as that sounds, I want a real pounding by an actual handsome dude! Not a tomboy!" retorted Setsuna with glee.

"Aaah!" screamed a red faced Itsuka in fury and embarrassment while the rest sported astonished expressions over what was just said. Even Yui was shocked to the point that her eyes widened.

"So, ah, mushn't we stop it now?" asked Kinoko again quietly, lowering her hands this time.

"Yeah, we probably should. But how?" asked Tetsu.

Kinoko saw that they didn't know how to stop it without someone getting possibly hurt after voicing some ideas. In the end, she decided to be the one to do so. "I…I think…I mush do this." Before they could ask her how, Kinoko used her quirk to make a large mushroom suddenly appear in Setsuna's path.

"Oh shit!" Unable to stop and with practically no space to split herself up to avoid the giant fungus, she slammed into it face first and got stuck. "Oh, so soft. You can just leave me here until the day I die," said Setsuna with a content smile as she let herself sink into the mushroom more.

"I don't think so," growled Itsuka as she stood behind her and raised her enlarged fist.

"No, wait, you gotta see how this feels!" pleaded Setsuna without even trying to move from her spot.

"Nope."

*WHAM*

"Fuck! That one really hurt!"

"Good!" stated Itsuka. She then walked back to the rest and sat back down in her seat with a satisfied look on her face.

"That was manly as hell," complimented Tetsu.

Itsuka smiled a little. "Thanks, I guess. I don't know if I'll get used to that as a compliment though." They all chuckled over that as Setsuna made her way back to them while nursing her head again. "So, did you learn your lesson?" asked Itsuka as her friend sat down.

"Yeah, yeah. I blame you though for my dirty mind because I bet all those head chops damaged my brain," replied Setsuna before blowing a raspberry at the redhead.

"As if. You were born like that."

"Probably," added Yui.

Chuckling, Setsuna just shrugged before facing their shortest one of their group. "Anyways, Komori, that mushroom was super soft. Can you make one for me to take home?"

"I could, but they disappear after a while if I'm not there," informed Kinoko and Setsuna grumbled. "That reminds me…" Turning to face the mushroom, Kinoko used her quirk to make the mushroom disappear. "There we go."

As soon as Kinoko turned to face her friends, the homeroom door opened and several of their classmates walked in while chatting away with some laughing and joking around. Hearing some words and phrases about what happened at the cafeteria made the ones who were already seated become surprised. They glanced at each other with each of them thinking the same thing; who got covered in food?

Turning to one of the girls that were walking by them, Itsuka stood up and tapped her on the shoulder and waited until she turned to face them. "Hey Yanagi, what happened?" she asked for them.

"A rather unpleasant experience for an individual from our sister class 1A," said the grey haired girl.

Pony, who was with Reiko, also spoke up. "Poor girl got fooded."

"Fooded?" repeated Jurota questioningly.

"She means to say that due to unfortunate carelessness, said girl ended up covered in food pieces and drenched from her beverage," elaborated Reiko.

"Oh. That mush suck. Is she alright?" asked Kinoko.

Reiko gave a puzzled look at Kinoko who became nervous but then the ghostly girl just shook her head. "Apologies but I do not know. She left in a hurry after most everyone started laughing and ridiculing her."

"That's not manly at all," remarked Tetsu with a frown.

"What inappropriate behaviors. It disappoints me to hear that our fellow peers who've come to this great institution to become potential heroes acted like delinquents when they should have offered aid instead," commented Jurota, sharing his thoughts with them and they all agreed.

However, some of their classmates didn't share their viewpoints. In particular, Yosetsu, Sen, Neito and Kosei were laughing and talking loudly about an idiot girl who embarrassed herself. And Neito was being the loudest one of them all. "Haha! Of course someone from 1A embarrasses themselves! That's what they get for thinking they're better than us! Hahaha!"

"What are you talking about?" asked Itsuka while turning to face him and her friends copied her.

Neito and his group looked at her before the blonde spoke. "Well, my dear classmate, I've learned a lot about our sister classduring lunch. A couple of the girls are at each other's throats. Several of the guys are arrogant dickheads who think they're better than us all. And some don't even want to talk or interact with anyone at all," said Neito with sneer.

"And how did you learn of this?" questioned Jurota.

"By observing and asking questions of course," answered Neito calmly.

"I don't believe you," remarked Tetsu as he took a step forward. "There might be some bad eggs in their class. And there might be some who want to be left alone. Could be the same for our class too. So that doesn't mean that they're all bad or that they think they're better than us," said the steel quirk user.

"He's right. You're just looking to blow things out of proportion because of some sick, twisted sense of justification," added Setsuna with a scowl on her face.

Neito let out a dramatic sigh. "It looks like you don't believe me. Unlike them, I won't force my views onto you but there will come a day that you'll see that I was right. And unlike them, I will forgive you when you apologize since I care about my fellow classmates," said Neito confidently with a rather weird smile before returning to his friends.

"Wrong and crazy," stated Yui as she and her friends sat back down together.

"Yeah. Something's off with him," said Itsuka in agreement.

"Whatever. Let's just relax until our next class starts," advised Setsuna.

Sitting back down on their seats, they talked for a little bit as the others in the room did their own thing. As time went on, the rest of their classmates arrived and took their seats. Soon enough, everyone was beginning to get excited since their first Fundamental Heroics class would begin soon. When the clock struck 1pm, they waited silently and impatiently for the one who would teach it. A minute went by. And then another.

"What's going?" asked Sen.

"We have heroics class next right?" questioned Yosetsu.

"Yes, we do," answered Ibara.

"So where is he?" Hiryu's question went unanswered since loud footsteps were heard from the hallway. Each of them started shaking in excitement and they could hardly control themselves.

All of a sudden, just like he did with class 1A, All Might opened the classroom door quickly and leaned in while shouting out the following words; "IT IS I, ENTERING WITH STYLE!" he said. His entrance made the class become excited at seeing the number one hero in person.

"WOW, HE'S SO COOL!"

"HE'S REALLY HERE!"

"LOOK, IT'S HIS SILVER AGE COSTUME!"

"HE'S SO MANLY!"

"HE'S SO MUCH BIGGER UP CLOSE!"

All Might did the same routine as before and dramatically walked to the front of the room and planted his fists against his hips. "Hello students! We're about to start your first ever Fundamental Heroics class!" They cheered and some even pumped their fists into the air in excitement. Smiling wider, All Might continued. "And it's…" Doing the same bit as he did before with class 1A, class 1B also reacted the same with everyone leaning in closer. "BATTLE TRIALS!" declared All Might loudly while holding up the card with the words on it again.

"HELL YEAH!"

"I CAN'T WAIT TO FIGHT SOMEONE!"

"LET'S DO THIS!"

All Might smiled wider. Ha, I'm really good at this! "I'm glad that you're all pumped up for this! But first, even heroes in training need to look the part!" Retrieving the same remote as before, he pressed the button and the wall opposite the door in the room also opened up with many labeled suitcases extending out. "Grab your costumes, go to 'Ground Beta', use their locker rooms to change and meet me near the front entrance." After saying his directions, the class got up and went to get their costumes. "See ya there!" All Might practically vanished once more as he sped away to the training area with the students of class 1B awed over his exit.

"Oh, there you are Aizawa."

Grumbling in his sleeping bag, the gruff teacher of class 1A barely opened his eyes to look at the one who was talking to him. He was trying to get some sleep in the corner of the staff's lounge and hated when he was bothered. "Nemuri? What do you want? You know better than to rob me of the precious little sleep I get. This better be life and death important," he told her before closing his eyes again and snuggled into his sleeping bag.

"Oh, it very much is life and death important. And it all depends on how you answer my question."

"Hmm?" grumbled Aizawa as if to ask 'what' while keeping his eyes closed.

"Can you tell me why you went to visit Izuku Midoriya with All Might and didn't bother telling me?" asked Midnight in a rather angry tone.

Aizawa's tired, red eyes snapped open at once over that question. It was at that moment that he remembered what All Might told him after being questioned about his relationship with his student during their trip to the hospital. He was surprised over the things he learned and one of them was how All Might had a few pros help in teaching and training Midoriya. One of whom was Nemuri who had become very attached to the young man.

Slowly raising his gaze up to look at the woman who was standing right next to him, Aizawa could see how she was staring at him angrily with narrowed eyes and crossed arms. "Oh fuck me…"

A sinister smile spread on Nemuri's face after hearing his whispered words. "Hmm, you're not that lucky," replied the R-Rated heroine while retrieving her battle whip from her costume's belt.

Aizawa's face paled as a single thought went through his head; damn you All Might because I know this is somehow your fault!
