In the Abandoned Cabin.
Upstairs.
Liam,Chase and Skye burst,Through the Door,Into One of the Rooms,Where They saw Zuma Standing,Shaking,Profusely.
"Zuma,What's Wrong? Why did You Scream?" Liam interrogated,as He ran Over to Zuma,And,Knelt Down,Beside Him.
"W-We weren't the Only People trapped Here," Zuma pointed Out,as He,Then,Pointed to Something,That,Sat,In the Closet,While,Looking at It with Fear.
"What do You Mean,Zuma? Oh My Gosh!" Liam asked,Concernedly,as He looked at Zuma,Briefly,Before,Turning to the Thing,That,Zuma was looking At.
Chase and Skye,Wondering,What the Two were Looking At,Walked to Liam and Zuma's Sides,as They saw,What the Other Two were Looking At.
"Well,That confirms It,We weren't the First One's Here," Chase declared,as He looked at It,With Concern.
"Yeah,I think,The Half-Eaten Decomposing Bodies were a Clear Sign," Skye commented,as All Four of Them looked at the Half-Eaten Carcasses,That,Laid,All Over the Closet Floor.
Liam,Seeing the Bodies,Huffed,Angrily,as He stood Up,Back,Onto his Feet,And,Took Off Out of the Room.
Chase,Witnessing Him,Storm Off,Out of the Room,Decided to Follow,After Him,To See,What was Going On.
Zuma and Skye turned to Chase,Watching Him Walk Out of the Room,As Well,as They Both looked at Each Other,And,Went Walking after the Two of Them.
Liam started walking Down the Stairs,In a Quick Manner,With a Serious Look on his Face.
"Liam," Chase called,as He began to Walk Down the Stairs,After Him,With Zuma and Skye,Close,Behind Him.
Liam didn't Answer.
"Liam," Chase called Out as The Four of Them continued Down the Steps.
Still,Liam didn't Answer,He,Just Continued Walking Down the Stairs.
"Liam!!!" Chase shouted as Both Him and Liam walked Down the Last Few Stairs,Back towards the Door.
"What?" Liam wondered.
"What's going on in Your Head?" Chase brought Up.
"Okay,You want to Know,What's going on in My Head,I'll tell You,What's going on in My Head,I'm Scared for Us,I Really Am,If Two Adults,Who lived Here,Didn't stand a Chance against This Thing,Then. How are a Kid and Three Dogs going To? That Thing found a Way in Here Before,I don't Know,How,But,It found a Way in Here,And,It got Those Guys," Liam explained,Furiously, Not really,Wanting to tell Them,All of,What He was Thinking,But,Knowing,That,He needed to,Deciding to do So.
"So,What do We do?" Chase questioned.
"I don't Know,Cause,Considering,How It killed That Poor Couple,There's a Way in Here,Through Somewhere,And,That Thing's,Probably,Looking for It," Liam elucidated.
"Clearly,There's a Weakness,In This Cabin's Structure," Skye stated as Her and Zuma walked Down the Stairs,Towards the Other Two.
"And,That Thing's searching for It," Zuma finished,Finishing Skye's Sentence,as The Two arrived Downstairs.
"It would make Sense,Why,It's So Quiet Outside," Chase said.
"Guys! Focus! That Thing Out There is Smarter,Than Anything,We've Ever Seen Before," Liam commanded,as He pointed Out to Them,How Smart the Creature was.
"Help!!!!" A Familiar Voice yelled Out to Them.
Liam,Chase,Zuma and Skye,All Hearing the Yelling,From Outside,Walked,Towards One of the Cabin Windows,as They looked,Through the Cracks,In the Wooden Boards.
As the Four of Them looked Outside,They couldn't believe,What They saw Out There.
"It's Rocky!!!" Liam announced,In Surprise,as He looked,Through the Cracks,To See,Rocky,Outside,Laying on the Ground,While,Bleeding Heavily and Calling Out to Them.
"Rocky? But,I thought,That,It ate Him," Chase mentioned.
"He's calling Out to Us,We need to Help Him," Liam voiced,Walking Away,From the Window,To Go and Get Rocky.
"Liam!! Wait!" Skye ordered as Her,Chase and Zuma stood,On Their Hind Legs,On Top of the Sofa,To look Outside,Seeing Something,That,Liam didn't.
"What?" Liam replied,Frustratedly.
"Look Out to the Bushes," Chase requested as Him and Zuma looked,Through the Cracks,With Worried Looks on Their Faces.
Liam looked,Back Out the Window,Towards the Bushes, as He saw the Thing,Sitting There,In the Shadows,Waiting for Something.
"I-It's using Him as Bait," Liam realized
"How would It know to do That?" Skye asked,In Confusion.
"Like I told You,That Thing is Smarter,Than Anything,I've ever Seen,It is waiting for Us to Go Out There,It's counting on It,And,When We do,It is going to kill Us," Liam notified.
"We're not Weally gonna go Out There,Are We?" Zuma interrogated,Wanting to make It Clear,If They were going,Or Not.
"Yeah,We are," Liam pointed Out.
"What?" Skye and Chase responded,In Surprise.
"Are You Crazy?" Zuma added.
"We don't have a Choice,Guys,We need to get Rocky in Here,If We leave Him There,It will kill Him,And,If It doesn't,Blood Loss will," Liam explained.
"Yeah,But," Skye tried to Say.
"This isn't Up for Discussion,I'd,Easily,Do It for Any of You," Liam declared.
"Zuma,Skye,I think,Liam's Right,Rocky's,Our Teammate,Our Friend,We can't,Just leave Him Out There," Chase admitted.
"Wow,Chase,This would be Time Number Two,That,You're Disagreeing with Us," Zuma instigated.
"No! They're Right," Skye confessed,Realizing,The Fact,That,They were Right.
Zuma's Mouth Dropped,In Surprise,When He heard That.
"Well,I Guess,That's Solved," Zuma stated.
"Alright,Zuma and Chase,You're with Me,We're gonna Go Out There,And,You Two are going to Distract It,While,I Go and Get Rocky," Liam ordered,Taking Charge,Once More,To Try and Save His Buddy.
"Wait! Why do We have to be the Ones to be Bait?" Zuma questioned,Disappointedly.
"Because,You can't Carry Rocky,Into the Cabin," Liam retorted,Putting Up a Good Point.
It was such a Good Point,That,Zuma had Nothing Else to Say,He,Just Shut his Mouth.
"But,I would Go with Him?" Chase brought Up.
Just Then.
Zuma had Something Else to Say.
"Yeah,I'd Rather Go with Anyone,But,Him," Zuma agreed.
"Oh,Come On,You Two,The Love Wars need to End for Now,We have More Important Things,At Stake," Liam blurted Out.
Chase and Zuma,Hearing That,Lowered Their Heads,In Shame,Realizing,That,Liam was Right.
Chase felt,Especially Guilty,Even Though,Zuma was the One,That was,Mainly,Messing with Him.
However.
Liam didn't know That.
"Wait! Love Wars?" Skye repeated,In Confusion,Not getting,Why Liam had Said That.
"Nothing,It's Not," Liam tried to Say.
"NO!! It's Important," Skye insisted.
Liam kept his Mouth Shut,About It,Now,Wanting to say It for Them.
Chase and Zuma kept Quiet,As Well.
"Well?" Skye lashed Out,Angrily.
"Well,Considering,The Fact,That,I just found about Both of Them,Recently,I'll let Them Come,From the Horse's Mouths," Liam informed.
Chase Sighed,Disappointedly,Realizing,That,He was going to have to Admit It to Her.
"Sk-Skye,I-I-I I'm in Love with You," Chase confessed.
"Hey,I was in Love with Her First," Zuma retorted.
"It's not a Competition," Chase shot Back.
"Y-You Guys. You're Both in Love with Me? This is Why,You Two have been Arguing? It is because of Me?" Skye whispered,Trying to get Everything Straight,Really,Not believing,What She was Currently Hearing.
"Yes," Chase and Zuma answered,In Unison,as,Now,They Both lowered Their Heads,In Sadness.
"Okay. Can We deal with This Later? Cause,If We're gonna get Rocky,Then,It has to be Soon," Liam suggested,as He made Clear to Her,How Important,It was,That,They acted,Right Now.
"Just Go," Skye muttered,Firmly.
"Skye,Are You-" Chase tried to Ask.
"Just Go!!!!" Skye demanded,as She turned Away,From Both of Them,Not Really knowing,What to Think,At the Moment,Considering,Two Guys liked Her and Were fighting over Her,And,She didn't,Even Know,Which One that She liked.
Chase Whimpered,Feeling Hurt,By Her,Seeming Hate,Towards Him,as Him and Liam walked,Towards the Door,To do Liam's Plan.
Zuma was About to Say Something,As Well,But,Stopped Himself,as He followed the Other Two to the Door.
"I'm Sorry,Guys," Liam apologized,Softly.
"It's Fine,Let's just get This Over with," Chase replied,Solemnly.
Liam nodded as He Opened the Cabin Door,And,Both Chase and Zuma ran Out the Door,Before,Liam closed It,Behind Them,About to put His Plan,Into Motion.
