Chase and Zuma walked On the Front Porch of the Cabin,Slowly and Carefully,Trying Not to make Any Sudden Movements,To Alarm the Creature,That,They had known Its Plan.
"You Ready to do This?" Chase mentioned to Zuma,In his Ear,as Him and Zuma,Stood,Side by Side,Walking Down the Front Porch Steps to the Ground.
"As Ready as I'm Ever gonna be," Zuma replied,Worriedly.
"Hey!!!" Chase shouted Out to the Creature,Staring Right at It,Getting the Monster's Attention.
The Monster shot Up,Seeing Them There Out in the Open,as It Growled,Ferociously,Quickly, Standing Up onto Its Feet,About to chase after the Other Two.
"Um,I think,It don't Think,That,This is Work--" Zuma was Saying to Chase,Before,Seeing Chase,Just Start taking Off.
"Run!!!" Chase ordered as He took Off Running Away,From Zuma,Making a Run for the Forest.
"Wha-? Why are You Wunning Away,?" Zuma asked,In Confusion,as He watched Chase,Just Take Off,Without Him.
Something,Then,Came to Zuma's Mind,as He turned Around,To See the Monster,Running towards Him,At a High Speed,Already being Pretty Close to Zuma.
"Whoa!!!" Zuma whispered,as He took Off,After Chase,Rushing towards the Forest,As Well,Both trying to lead the Monster Away,From Rocky,So,Liam could Go Out There,And,Get Rocky.
Both Boys took Off,Into the Forest,With the Creature,Following,Close Behind,as It Roared Out,Before,Following Chase and Zuma in to the Forest.
Back in the Cabin.
Liam and Skye looked Out the Cabin Window,Looking for Any Sight of the Creature,Making Sure,That,It was Safe for Liam to Go Out,And,Get Rocky.
"All Clear,I think,It followed the Other Two,Into the Forest,Just like You Planned," Skye announced.
"Alright,I Better get Out There,And,Get Poor Rocky in Here," Liam informed.
"Good Idea,Before,That Thing comes Back," Skye added.
"Just in Case,I don't make It,Skye," Liam started.
"Don't even Say It,You're gonna be Fine," Skye retorted.
Liam Nodded,In Agreement,as He opened the Door to the Cabin,To Head Over to Rocky,And,Walked Out,Closing the Door,Behind Him,To Make Sure,That,It didn't get In.
Liam walked on the Front Porch,Carefully,Trying to avoid making Any Noise,That,Would Attract the Creature.
Liam looked Around,From Side to Side,Searching for Any Sight of the Thing,Making Sure that It was Gone,Before,He walked Down the Porch Steps.
Liam saw Nothing Around,Not even Any Wildlife,Knowing,That,This was going to as Safe as It was going to get.
Liam walked Down the Front Porch Steps,Silently,as He,Then,Ran Over towards Rocky,To Go and Get Him Inside.
Meanwhile.
In the Forest.
Chase and Zuma were Running,For Their Lives,Attempting to Both Distract It for Long Enough,And,Lose It,So,They could head Back and Get Inside.
"Go! Go! Go!" Chase commanded as Him and Zuma ran,Through the Forest,Panickedly,Jumping Over Large Logs,While,Not looking Back.
"Chase,I think,That is has stopped chasing Us," Zuma warned,as Him and Chase ran Side by Side,Rushing through the Forest,As Fast as They could.
"For All You know,That could be just,What It wants Us to Think," Chase shot Back,as He continued to Run with Zuma.
"I,Still Think,That,We would Know,Considering,We haven't heard That Thing,In Over 5 Minutes," Zuma notified.
The Minute,Chase heard That,He skidded to an Abrupt Stop,as Zuma came to a Stop,At his Side.
"What?" Chase responded,In Concern,Turning to Zuma with a Worried Look.
"I haven't heard That Thing Woar or Growl,In over 5 Minutes," Zuma replied.
"That's Bad,That means,It's,Probably,Back There with Liam," Chase stated.
"Chase,Wiam,Most Wikely,Has Already gotten Wocky Inside," Zuma pointed Out.
"Zuma,I don't-" Chase was Saying,Before,Being Interrupted,By Zuma.
"CHASE!!! WOOKOUT!!!" Zuma yelled Out to Him,Seeing the Monster,Standing above Him.
Chase turned Around,To see,It,Right There,Spread Out,On One of the Trees,With Its Claws,Reached Out towards Him.
Chase Screamed,In Surprise,Right,When It was About to grab Him,as Chase jumped Out of the Way of Its Claws,Making It Miss.
Its Eyeless Sockets of the Animal Skull filled Up with Black Vines,as the Black Vines lurched Out of Its Sockets,At Zuma.
"Aw,Biscuit," Zuma muttered,as He saw the Black Vines reaching,Straight for Him.
The Black Vines Stretched Out More,as the Vines,Almost Stabbed,Right,Into Him.
However.
Chase wouldn't let That Happen.
When He saw Zuma There,In Trouble,He,Immediately,Pushed Him Out of the Way,Tackling Him to the Ground,Forcing the Black Vines,To Stab,Into One of the Trees.
The Creature Shrieked Out,In Pain,Feeling the Vines,Which was,Now,An Extra Arm,Coming Out tab in to the Hard Tree Trunk.
"Thanks,Chase," Zuma thanked.
"No Problem,Now,Let's get Out of Here," Chase answered,as He,Then,Requested for Both of Them to get Out of There,Back to the Cabin.
Zuma nodded,In Agreement as Both Pups ducked,Underneath the Black Vines,And,Took Off,Back to the Cabin.
The Monster,Seeing Them,Trying to Run Away,Attempted to Swat Them,But Missed,as It watched Them get Away,It,Just Shrieked Out,In Anger.
Back at the Cabin.
Liam knelt Down,In Front of Rocky,Seeing,How Much the Thing had Done to Him,as He just looked at Him,With a Gloomy Face,Feeling Really Bad for his Friend.
"R-Rocky,Are You-" Liam whispered to Him,as He stayed There,Knelt Down by Him.
"L-Liam,G-Good to see,That,You're Still Alive," Rocky commented as He laid There,Slowly,Bleeding Out,From All of the Blood,That,He had Lost.
"Don't Worry,Rocky,I'm going to get You in the Cabin,And,Then,I'm going to fix You Up,After That,You'll feel A Lot Better," Liam reassured,Fighting Himself not to Cry,While,Looking at his Injured Friend.
"Looking forward to It,Buddy," Rocky mumbled,Weakly,as He stayed laying There,Waiting for Liam to pick Him Up.
Liam reached Out his Arms to Rocky,as He,Carefully,Slid Them underneath Him,Before,Lifting Him Up into his Arms.
Just Then.
Liam heard Something Growling,Aggressively,From,In Front of Him,as He looked Up,To See,It,Standing,Right There,Looking at Him.
"You came Back Fast," Liam murmured to It,as He stared Back at the Thing.
The Creature continued Growling,as It,Slowly,Walked Out of the Darkness,Into the Light,Revealing Itself,To be,What Liam already knew It was.
Liam resumed to Stare Back at It,as He,Carefully,Got Up Off of his Knees,And,Back on to his Feet,Before,Cautiously,Backing Up,Not making Any Sudden Movements,To send the Creature,After Him.
"Skye,Please Re-Open That Door," Liam pleaded as He,Still,Backed Away,Slowly,Towards the Cabin.
In That Exact Moment.
Almost like Skye was Reading his Mind,She opened the Door Wide,Getting Both Liam and the Monster's Attention,as They turned to the Open Front Door.
Liam,Seeing Skye standing There,In the Middle of the Doorway,Gesturing for Him to Come Back into the Cabin,Turned Back to the Monster,Before,Taking Off towards the Open Door.
The Monster,Now,Turned Back to Liam,Seeing Him making a Run for the Door,as He,Then,Ran,After Him,To Stop Him,From Getting Inside.
Simultaneously.
Chase and Zuma,Just Emerged,From the Forest,as They ran,Towards the Cabin,Hoping for the Thing,To be Far Behind Them.
The Two Pups ran Past Skye,Right,Into the House,Making It,Without getting Taken,as They Both let Out a Sigh of Relief,Glad to be Safe.
"Liam,Hurry," Skye commanded to Him,Seeing Him Running as Fast as He could,Towards the Cabin,With the Creature,Close Behind.
Chase and Zuma,Hearing Her Shout Liam's Name,Ran Back,Over to the Doorway,To See,Liam,Carrying Rocky,In his Arms,With the Thing,Quickly,Catching Up to Him.
"How did It get Over Here,So Fast?" Chase asked,In Confusion,Not seeing,How It had gotten All the Way Back Over to the Cabin,So Quickly,as Him,Zuma and Skye watched Liam run for his Life.
The Monster,Having Almost caught Up to Liam,Took Out Its Claws,Ready to Slash Him,And,Take Him,Just like Rubble.
Chase,Zuma and Skye,Backed Away,From the Door Way,Waiting for Liam to run Inside,And,Shut the Door.
Liam dashed,Into the Cabin,With Rocky,Still,In his Arms,as Chase and Skye went Over to the Door,And,Pushed against It,Closing the Door,Right,In the Monster's Face,It,Barely,Missing Them.
"Cutting It a Little Close,Were Ya?" Skye commented,Firmly,To Liam.
"Hey,I wasn't,Trying To,I didn't Know,It was going to come Back,So Fast," Liam pointed Out.
"Where is It going?" Chase wondered,Watching the Creature's Shadow,Moved Away,From the Door,Towards the Side of the House,Before,Jumping,Into Something.
"What did It just Find?" Zuma brought Up.
"We've gotta find Out," Liam voiced.
"Now,Come On," Skye ordered as Her,Liam,Chase and Zuma,All spread Out,Across the Cabin,Looking for a Way In,Hoping to stop It,From getting Inside,Before,It was Too Late.
