At the Cabin,On the Island,11:00 A.M.
"There's Two of Those Creatures Out There,There's gotta be," Liam stated.
"Okay,Hold Up,What are You Guys Saying?" Skye interrogated,Out of Confusion,Not getting,What They were Saying.
"We're Saying,There's Two Creatures,That have been Hunting Us,Not just the One," Chase informed.
"How do You Guys,Even Know This?" Rocky queried.
"Think about It,Rocky,This Thing is Way Too Fast,To be Working Alone,It was messing with Me and Zuma,Deep in the Forest,And,Yet,Somehow,It was Over Here,Messing with Liam and Skye,At Around the Same Time,There is No Way,That,It could have been in Two Places at Once," Chase explained.
"Yeah,And,Remember,Skye,How That Creature didn't really Bother,Looking for a Way,In This Cabin,It just,Left,But,Yet,Hours Later,It jumps,Into Some Door,Which leads to the Basement,A Place,Where It could have Gone,Earlier," Liam elucidated.
"Oh My Gosh,They're Right,There is Two of Those Creatures," Skye realized.
"Which means,That,There's One,That is Smarter than the Other,Which is Less Experienced," Rocky stated.
"Great! Now,You Guys are Catching On," Liam commented.
"No Wonder,It has been taking Us,So Long,To figure This Out,Because,We've been dealing with Two Monsters,Rather than One," Skye pointed Out.
"Well,As Much as This is Helpful to Us,Extremely,We do need to find a Way to kill These Things,And,Get Off This Island,Or,Otherwise,They are going to find a Way in Here,Eventually," Rocky mentioned.
"Yeah,I do have a Few Ideas on,How to kill These Things,Come On,We can talk about Them,Downstairs," Liam replied,as He gestured for Rocky,To Follow Him,So,They could Go Downstairs,And,Talk about his Ideas to kill Em.
Rocky nodded,In Agreement,as He and Liam left the Bedroom,To head Downstairs to talk about It,Leaving Chase and Skye in the Room,Alone.
At the Same Time.
Back at the Lookout.
In the Ventilation System,Near the Exit.
Tracker and Everest were,Crawling on Their Bellies,as They crawled,Through the Ventilation System,Getting Closer to Their Destination.
"We're Almost There,Tracker,And,Then,You won't have to look at My BIG HEAD,Again," Everest added.
"Everest,I don't think,That,You have a Big Head," Tracker warned.
"Oh! Really? Then,Why say It?" Everest questioned.
"I-I,Just...got...Flustered," Tracker answered.
"Flustered? Why?" Everest wondered,Out of Confusion.
"Well,C-Cause of,You talking about My Chest Fur,That's What made Me feel Flustered,Which was,What led Me to Accidentally saying,What I said," Tracker admitted.
"Oh! Uh,That was an Accident,As Well,I don't Know,What came Over Me,When I started saying That about Your Nice Soft Chest Fur," Everest confessed,as She Blushed,Before,Quietly, Whispering the Last Part.
"What was That Last Part?" Tracker asked.
"Nothing," Everest responded,Loudly.
"I Suppose,I could forgive You,Considering,That,You didn't mean To," Everest continued, Instantly,Changing the Subject,So,She wouldn't have to Explain Herself to Him.
"Aw,Thanks,Everest," Tracker thanked,Softly.
"Y-You're Welcome," Everest whispered,Shyly,as She,Then,Picked Up the Pace,Over to the Exit of the System.
Back on the Island.
In the Cabin.
Downstairs.
Liam and Rocky were Talking Over the Ideas,That,Liam had for taking Care of the Creatures.
"Okay,As Tough as These Things have been for Us,I'm,Pretty Sure,That These Things are not Immune to Fire,So,If We burn Them,The Sticks and Vines that Make Up Their Body,Should finish killing Them Off,Leaving Nothing Left," Liam described.
"I mean,It could Work," Rocky brought Up.
"Yeah,It could," Liam agreed.
"But,Where would We get the Fire?" Rocky voiced.
Liam Sighed,Realizing,Rocky was Right,as He crumbled Up the Little Paper,With the Plan,Before,Throwing It to the Floor.
"Hey,Liam," Rocky called.
"Yes? Rocky?" Liam answered.
"I'm Sorry,For Blaming You for Zuma being Taken,I Suppose,I should have faced the Facts,You and Chase,Really were,Trying to Protect the Both of Us," Rocky apologized.
"It's Okay,Rocky,Don't Worry about It," Liam reassured.
"No! Seriously,I Know,It took Me a Couple of Minutes to Think about It,But,You were Right,You and Chase did All You Guys could,I don't blame You for Zuma getting Eaten,Not Anymore," Rocky explained.
"I'm Serious,Rocky,It's Okay,I Understand,At First,When You look at It,It does look like,That,We were,Just leaving Him," Liam replied.
"Th-Thanks,Liam," Rocky thanked.
"Your Welcome,Buddy," Liam mumbled to Him.
"Now,Uh,Tell Me More of These Ideas,That,You have," Rocky requested.
"Sure Thing,Rock," Liam said.
Meanwhile.
Upstairs.
Chase and Skye were Sitting Alone,In the Room,Not saying Anything,as They Both looked Around the Room,Nervously.
"S-So,Chase,Were You the One,Who found Out,That,There was the Two of Them?" Skye mentioned.
"N-No,Well,I mean,Both Me and Liam,Kind Of,Figured It Out,Together," Chase stuttered.
Oh! Really? You Both did? Cool,Cool," Skye wondered,Curiously,Before,Telling Him,How Cool,It was,In a Nervous Tone.
"Hey,About the Whole,Leaving Zuma Thing," Chase was about to Say,Before,Skye,Instantly, Interrupted Him.
"Chase,You do not need to blame Yourself," Skye announced.
"Huh? But,You Said." Chase responded.
"I Know,What I Said,Chase,And,What I Said was Wrong,You tried your Hardest,You were,Trying to protect the Rest of Us,Not just Yourself,Or,Not just to be with Me,But,To keep the Rest of Us safe,You did,All You Could," Skye confessed.
"Yeah,But,I,Still,Could have Done More to save Him," Chase pointed Out,as He lowered his Head Down,In Shame.
"No,Chase,You couldn't have,You tried to be the One to Go,In the Basement,To protect Us,Cause,You are Always putting Us over You,Which is,What I like about You,You Always think about Others,Other than Yourself,But,Zuma,He wanted To,He had insisted on going in There,Which was,What got Him killed," Skye elucidated.
"You miss Him,Don't You?" Chase guessed.
"Yes,Yes,I do," Skye muttered.
"I'm Sorry,Skye" Chase apologized,Softly.
"It's Okay,There's Nothing,We can do about It,Now," Skye answered,as She Smiled,Slightly,While,Looking at Chase's Lips,For a Brief Second,With Chase,Secretly,Looking at Her's,As Well.
Just Then.
Both Chase and Skye heard a Loud Thump hit the Roof,Which caught Their Attention,as They looked to the Window,To See,What It was.
As They looked to the Window,They saw the Silhouette of One of the Creatures,Walking,Across the Roof,Towards Their Window.
Skye Gasped,In Concern, as She stood There,Frozen,In Fear,Not knowing,What to do.
That was,Until.
Chase put his Paw,On her Shoulder,as She turned to Him,In Surprise,To see Him,There, Standing,Right Next to Her.
"Shh,Slowly and Quietly,Follow Me,Out of the Room,We need to get Downstairs,To warn the Other Two," Chase declared.
"But,What if It hears Us? What if It figures Out Our Plan?" Skye questioned,Concernedly.
"It won't,Skye,As Long as We stay Quiet,I Promise," Chase vowed.
"I'm,I'm,Still,Not Sure,This is gonna Work,These Things are Scarily Smart," Skye voiced.
"Just,Trust Me,Skye,Please," Chase requested,Softly.
"I-" Skye tried to Say.
"Do You trust Me?" Chase asked.
"Yes,Chase,Yes,I do," Skye confirmed.
Chase Smiled,When He heard Her admit That,as He,Then,Motioned for Her to follow Him Out.
Chase and Skye,Slowly and Quietly,Backed Out of the Room,Into the Hallway of the Upstairs,as Chase,Then,Carefully,Closed the Room Door,So,If It got in,It would have to break Down the Door.
Once Chase closed the Door,The Two of Them walked Down the Stairs,Into the Living Room,Where Liam and Rocky had,Just gone through,All of Liam's Plans,Finding None of Them,That had,All of the Details figured Out.
"Whoa,What Happened to You Guys,You look Nervous?" Rocky interrogated.
"Guys,We-We've got a Problem," Chase brought Up.
"What kind of Problem?" Liam wondered.
"The Creatures,They're Back," Chase announced.
"And,They are on the Roof," Skye added.
That was When.
All Four of Them heard the Breaking of a Glass Window,Which alerted All of Them,Considering,They knew,Exactly,What It meant.
It meant,That,The Creatures were Officially,Inside the Cabin.
