At the Exit Door of the Ventilation System.
Everest kicked the Exit Door of the Ventilation System,Out,as Both Her and Tracker emerged,From It,Finally,Making It to the Next Floor.
"We made It,To the Next Floor,Without the Lightning noticing,And,We're Back in the Lobby,Where We started,We did It," Everest cheered,Excitedly.
"Hold Up,Everest,We're not Out of the Woods,Yet,Mi Bebe," Tracker informed.
"Did You just call Me your Baby?" Everest questioned,With a Raised Eyebrow.
"What? No,No,I didn't,I would never call You That,Like,Ever," Tracker lied,Nervously.
"Okay? We should,Probably,Signal the Other Two," Everest suggested.
"Everest! There You Are!" Marshall announced,as Him and Rex emerged,From the Ventilation System.
"Marshall? Rex? What are You Guys doing Here?" Everest questioned.
"Yeah,You Guys were Supposed to Wait on the Signal," Tracker reminded.
"I told Marshall That,But,He insisted on Coming,After Everest," Rex notified.
"Why?" Everest wondered,In a Weirded Out Tone.
"N-No Reason," Marshall lied.
"What were You thinking,Marshall? What if the Lightning saw You? What Then? Huh? Estúpido!" Tracker lashed Out,Angrily.
"Relax! Tracker,You Dummy,It,Obviously,Didn't,Besides,I know,The Real Reason,That,You went through the Ventilation System,Instead of Me," Marshall retorted.
"Cause You Guys voted Me To,Remember?" Tracker reminded,Firmly.
That was When.
They heard Loud Electricity,Coming,From,Inside the Ventilation System.
"It didn't see Ya? Huh?" Tracker commented.
"Quick! Hide," Everest ordered,as Both Her,Tracker and Marshall went One Way,To Hide,And,Rex went the Other.
Meanwhile.
Back in the Cabin.
"They're Inside," Chase murmured.
"What do We do?" Skye questioned,Quietly.
"We could Try going Out the Back Door," Rocky suggested.
"But,What if They're Already waiting for Us?" Liam interrogated.
"Then,We're as Good as Dead," Chase stated,Plainly.
"I think,We should Go Out the Front Door,They would never Expect That,Cause,We've Already tried It," Liam explained.
"Um,I think,I like Rocky's Plan Better," Skye voiced.
"Me Too," Chase agreed.
"Oh,Come On,Guys,We should,At Least,Try,My Idea," Liam pointed Out.
"I,Still Think,We should Go Out the Back Door,Come On," Rocky ordered as Him,Chase and Skye ran,Towards the Back Door,To Escape,That Way.
Liam Sighed,In Disappointment,Not liking,That,They didn't listen to Him,as He took Off,Running,After Them.
Rocky ran Up to the Back Door,as He barked his Claw Out,About to Open the Door.
"Come On,If We're Lucky,They're,Still Upstairs,Completely Clueless," Rocky stated.
Suddenly.
The Creature burst,Through the Door,as It snapped Its Bone Jaws,Into Rocky's Waist,Surprising All Three of Them.
"ROCKY! NO!" Liam called Out,In Horror,as He watched the Creature drag Rocky Off,While,Rocky Screamed Out,In Pain,Before,Disappearing,Into the Forest.
The Minute,Liam,Chase and Skye saw Rocky's Body,Disappear,Into the Forest,They heard A Lot of Sounds of Bones being Crunched,And,Flesh being Ripped Apart,as the Creature,Quickly,Came,Running Back,Towards the Cabin.
"Its Coming Back! We gotta Go!" Chase declared,Motioning for Them to follow Him,as He turned Around,And,Started running,Towards the Front Door,To Escape.
"Go! Go! Go!" Skye commanded,as Her and Liam took Off Running,After Chase,Seeing the Creature coming at Them,With Incredible Speed.
The Three of Them ran to the Front Door of the Cabin,Which sat,Near the Staircase,as Liam grasped the Doorknob,About to open the Door,With the Creature,Now,Running Inside,Through the Back Door,Towards Them.
Just Then.
The Creature,From Upstairs,Suddenly,Slid,Across the Hallway,To the Top of the Staircase,as It saw the Three of Them,At the Front Door.
"Ah,Shoot,The Second One's Here,Really?" Chase shouted.
"Oh,You've gotta be Kidding Me," Liam complained,Seeing the First Creature close to Them,Already,And,Now,The Second One running Down the Steps,At Them,as He opened the Front Door and Kicked Both Chase and Skye,Out the Door.
Liam ran Out the Front Door,With Both Creatures,Close Behind,as He,Quickly,Closed the Door,On Both Creatures's Faces.
"Run! Run! To the Forest!" Liam ordered,as He ran Off the Porch,Towards the Forest.
"You don't have to tell Me Twice," Skye added,as Her and Chase,Also,Ran Off the Porch,After Him,All Three making a Run for the Forest.
The Creatures Roared,Ferociously,as They stabbed Their Stick Fingers,Into the Front Door,Breaking the Door Down,Before,Running after the Trio.
Chase,Just Happening to Look,Behind Them,Looked,To see the Creatures running,After Them,With Everything,That,They had.
"Uh,Liam,They're following Us," Chase warned.
"Aw,Great! Speed Up! We need to make to the Forest,We can find More Cover,That Way," Liam explained,as He looked Behind Him,Seeing the Creatures catching Up,To Both Chase and Skye.
Skye,Being the Smallest Pup,Was the One at the Back of the Three of Them,Struggling to keep Up,as the Creatures began to Close,In on Her.
The Little Creature saw Her being the Closest One,as It stretched Out Its Stick Limbs,Towards Her to stab Her.
"SKYE! LOOKOUT!" Chase yelled Out,as He slowed Down,And, Rammed his Head,Into Her,Pushing Her farther Ahead,Making Her hit a Tree,Knocking Her Out.
Chase,Now,Running,Where She,Previously,Was,Quickly stabbed,By the Creature's Stick Claws,In the Hind Legs,as He Screamed Out,In Pain,Before,Falling to the Ground.
"CHASE! SKYE!" Liam called Out,as He skidded to a Stop,And,Ran Back,Over to save Chase.
The Little Creature Roared,In Triumph,as It dragged Its Arms,Back towards It,While,The Big One continued Running,To Liam.
"Liam! Grab Skye and Get Out of Here!" Chase demanded,Knowing,That,He was,Probably ,Already Done for,as He ordered for Him to,At Least,Save Skye.
"Oh,No,You don't," Liam stated,as He grabbed the Creature's Elongated Arm,And,Bit It.
The Little Creature Shrieked,as Its Arm zoomed Back Over to the Creature,While,It, Just,Continuously Shrieked.
Liam picked Chase Up,In his Arms,Just before the Big One reached Him,as He turned Around,Towards the Forest.
Liam ran,Into the Forest,Over to the Tree,Where Skye was Laying,And,Grunted,as He picked Her Up in his Arms,As Well.
"How are You carrying Us Both?" Chase questioned,Out of Confusion.
"I have No Idea,Buddy," Liam responded,In Loud Grunts,Kind of,Having Quite a Couple of Issues,Carrying Them Both,Considering,That,He was So Young.
Liam,Now,Beginning to Sweat,Profusely,From Carrying Both Pups,And,With the Big Creature,Already,Closing in on Him,He,Quickly,Made a Sharp Turn,Into the Side of the Forest,with the Bigger Trees,as He hid Behind one of Them.
The Big Creature copied Him,Making the Sharp Turn,As Well,as It slowed Down,To see,If It could find Him.
Liam held Both Pups,Close to Him,as Him and Chase held Their Breath,Trying to get It,Not to hear Them.
The Creature used Its Animal Skull Nostrils,To Sniff the Ground,Attempting to find Them.
It went,Directly,To the Tree,Where They were Hiding Behind,as It sniffed It,Repeatedly,Smelling to see,If They were There,While,Liam,Quietly,Turned his Head Away,From the Direction,It was Sniffing,So,It wouldn't smell Him.
The Monster,Then,Took One Last Big Sniff,Hoping to find Them,But,Smelled Nothing,as It Growled,Angrily,And,Ran forward,To Try to find Em,Up Ahead.
Liam and Chase let Out a Large Sigh of Relief,Relieved to know,That,It had Left.
"That was Close," Chase added.
"Ya Think," Liam responded,Firmly.
"Aww,Ouch! D-Did We make It?" Skye wondered,Waking Up in Liam's Arms,as She put Her Paw to her Head.
"Yeah,We did," Chase replied,Quietly.
"Barely," Liam commented.
"Th-Thanks for saving Me,Liam," Skye thanked.
"Your Welcome,Skye," Liam answered.
"Ah! Man,That Hurts," Chase muttered,as He struggled to get Out of Liam's Arms,Cause of,What had Happened with his Hind Legs.
"Chase! What Happened to You? Are You Okay?" Skye asked,Softly.
"He got in the Way,Well,He pushed You Out of the Way,First,So,You wouldn't get Hurt,The Little One stabbed Its Claws,Into his Hind Legs," Liam explained.
"Ch-Chase,You did That for Me? You got Hurt,Because of Me?" Skye questioned,In a Guilty Tone.
"Skye,I would get Hurt a Thousand Times,To protect You," Chase vowed.
"Thank You,Chase,Thank You," Skye thanked,Profusely,as She put Her Head,Against his Chest,In Thanks.
The Minute,Her Head touched his Chest,Chase's Cheeks began to Glow Pink,as He Blushed,While,She did It.
"So,Wh-Where do We Go,Now?" Skye brought Up to Liam and Chase,as She removed Her Head,From Chase's Chest,And,Asked Them the Question.
Liam and Chase,Who was,Now,No Longer Blushing,Looked to Each Other,Trying to figure Out,Where They were going to Go Next,Considering,Rocky had been Taken,Leaving just the Three of Them Remaining.
