THE BLUE SPIRIT

CHAPTER 001 – ABDUCTION

Many people were making their way through the crisscrossing streets of Cerulean City as they lived their lives. Home to many attractions that both trainers and tourists alike can enjoy, it is one of the most beautiful cities of the Kanto Region. One of which is being home to the famous Cerulean Gym, where aspiring pokémon trainers can battle for their chance at receiving the Cascade Badge from the tough gym leader Misty Waterflower. They could also battle against her sisters Daisy, Violet and Lily if she happened to not be there. The gym also doubles as the stage for their Sensational Sisters' water plays for those who aren't into battling. With both of these features, the gym attracts visitors from all over the world.

But it's not just the gym that attracts many to the city. A little to the northeast of the city is the Cerulean Cape, a famous dating spot where many females wish to go, especially for their first date. A little further up and you'll find the lighthouse that the infamous poke maniac Bill calls home who even the legendary pokemon researcher, Professor Samuel Oak, asks for assistance in his research from time to time. These are but just a few of the many sights to see, people to meet and things to do in and around near the city.

But one of the most famous things about Cerulean City is also its darkest; Cerulean Cave. It houses an enormous and confusing multi leveled underground cavern labyrinth that many powerful wild Pokémon inhabit within it and call it home. Located to the northwest of the city, across from a river and opposite the cape, it's a bit difficult to reach yet many of the locals know about it. However they do not talk about it and almost all of them stay clear from it at all costs.

Because of the many life threatening dangers that reside in the cave, only the absolute best trainers are allowed to go in there. And only after receiving permission from a Pokémon League official, such as Professor Oak or the Kanto & Johto Champion Lance. However, many others still enter it without official permission. Whether from dares, trying to look cool in front of potential lovers, plain curiosity or just sheer stupidity, they go into the unknown. And more often than not, without proper preparation or proper respect for the cave and all that it contains.

Yet, even from the few trainers who were able to get permission and enter the cave, most of them couldn't even travel farther than partway through the first level and had to get assistance to get out.

The cave is a very difficult area not only because of the many wild and powerful Pokémon who inhabit it, but also because of its winding and twisting passages, under mountain streams that are powerful enough to sweep away unprepared trainers and Pokémon alike, the little to no visibility and many other dangers. No single person has ever fully explored the entire cave and many left without their sanity intact. It is a very grueling and dangerous area indeed. Many suffered from both accidental wounds by injuring themselves or from being attacked by the pokémon who inhabited the cave. Besides Mount Silver and a handful of other locations in the world, Cerulean Cave is one of the most difficult and dangerous places to explore or train at.

As a result of all that, the Pokemon League came up with an idea to better handle the situation with trespassing trainers. They had contacted the nearby local gym leader and requested her to make routine inspections to make sure no unqualified trainer or person would head in and to contact them if anything came up. They asked her to do this extra task because not only is she the closest league representative nearby, but also because she had become one of the strongest gym leaders in the region and knew that she could handle herself. After accepting to do this extra task, the league and the red headed gym leader had come up with a schedule together for her to go and check out the cave entrance and area a couple times a week.

And today was one of those days as the red headed water pokemon trainer was heading towards it. Sitting on her large blue and yellow serpent like pokémon as it swam up the river towards the cave, she kept her gaze on her destination. When she was first requested to take this responsibility, the red head was surprised they had asked her but didn't mind it since it allowed her to get out of the gym every once in a while and it was for a good purpose. She wasn't like her three older sisters, who even after maturing some, still found ways to avoid taking on responsibilities if they could and would rather go out shopping or dancing at clubs just to waste time. It also gave her an opportunity to battle some travelers during her routine checks. But the number one reason she liked doing it was because it gave her an opportunity to relax, to think and to remember some of her favorite memories. And many of those memories involved a certain raven haired young man.

Still making her way towards the cave, the girl smiled a bit as an image appeared in her mind of the male. Her heart began beating a bit faster, seeing his smile in her head. She sighed, looking down and her pokémon glanced back at her with a concerned expression. Realizing that her pokémon was worried, she gave him a reassuring look. "I'm fine Gyarados. I just miss him," she admitted. The atrocious pokémon nodded and faced forward. He knew how his trainer felt about that particular person.

As she was about to think about the raven haired trainer some more, she noticed someone in the far distance. Moving her backpack in front of her, she pulled out her binoculars from within it and looked through it. It was a young female trainer with blonde hair. Hmm…looks like a newbie from the way she's walking without paying attention to her surroundings. And she's heading for the cave! "Speed up!" she said and her powerful pokémon increased his pace. He plowed through the water with ease while she stayed sitting on him without trouble, not bothered by his rapid movements.

Walking towards the cave, the young blonde trainer was fully intending to explore it for some new pokémon to catch. She had just become a trainer a couple months ago and started her journey. She reached the mountain entrance and was just about to go in when she heard a shout. "STOP!" The trainer turned her gaze to the direction the sound came from and saw a large scary pokémon quickly making its way to her. She screamed in fright and attempted to run away but tripped and fell. She covered herself up as best she could, hoping that she'll survive the encounter. "Hey, my bad, didn't mean to scare you. It's alright," said a soft tone of voice. The girl raised her head to see the pokémon that was coming towards her had stopped and watched as a red haired girl jumped onto the grassy ground before moving towards her. "Here, let me help you up." The red head extended out her hand and the younger girl took it, who was helped onto her feet. "Sorry about that. But were you trying to enter the cave just now?" she asked the girl.

Realizing that there was no immediate danger, the young girl let out a disgruntled sound before answering her. "Damn, you scared the crap out of me but whatever. Anyway, yeah I am. I became a trainer recently and I wanted to explore the cave to find some new pokémon. Did you want to go inside too?" explained the blonde before asking the question.

Shaking her head, the older girl replied back. "Nah, I'm good and I figured as much. I understand you want to explore, find some new pokémon and become stronger. But you're not ready to enter this particular cave and you need permission first from the Pokémon League," informed the red head kindly.

The blonde scowled. "Nobody said anything about that! And when was that a rule? I don't need to ask permission or anything! Who do you think you are?!" she asked heatedly.

Though she became angry over her disrespectful behavior, the red head controlled herself as she let out a sigh, having matured some to not allow every little thing to cause her to snap. She was hoping it wouldn't be like this but unfortunately it was. And it happened more often than not. Most of the ones she encountered near the cave were stuck up, inexperienced, delusional trainers who thought they were ready to take on anything. That is until they were beaten by her effortlessly in a battle and made to understand that they were wrong. She hoped it wouldn't be one of those and tried to go the more civil route. "Actually you do. This is Cerulean Cave. You're not authorized to go in there." The young trainer's eyes widened, turning her head to face the cave entrance. She had heard how dangerous the cave is from her family, friends and other travelers she met since starting her journey. "And I'm Misty Waterflower, the gym leader of Cerulean Gym. I've been appointed by the League to make sure people like you, who aren't ready, don't go in," revealed the red head.

The blonde girl snapped her attention onto the read head after realizing who she is while letting out a gasp. "W-Wait, you're Misty?!" she asked in surprise.

The gym leader nodded curtly. "Now you know who I am. Who are you?" asked Misty in a calm but serious tone of voice.

Wringing her hands nervously, the girl swallowed the saliva that had accumulated in her mouth before speaking again. "Wow, talk about putting a foot in my mouth. I'm sorry. My name is Jessica Peterson. I didn't know otherwise I would've been more respectful," said the girl.

The gym leader shook her head. "Don't be just respectful to people who you think deserve it Jessica. Be respectful to everyone. That's the mark of a great and strong trainer. Just like someone I know very well," advised Misty.

Jessica hung her head in shame. "You're right. I'm sorry. And thank you for saving my life," she said, looking up with a small smile, hoping that would ease the gym leader's view on her.

Seeing that Jessica was pacified now, Misty relaxed and gave a small smile of her own. "No problem. Now, I believe you would want a gym battle later right?" Misty asked her and Jessica nodded. "Okay. You should go back the way you came and go towards the other path. This time, pay attention to the sign at the crossroads. It'll point you to the nearby forest that many trainers use to practice and battle. You'll find some wild pokémon there too. Train up a bit and then come for your badge. I'll be waiting," informed Misty.

Jessica nodded rapidly. "Thank you Ms. Waterflower. I'll do just that. See you!" she said, running back the way she came.

Misty smiled a bit, watching her go. She glanced at her Gyarados. "Yup, another one saved. Maybe I should just set up my gym here," she mused. Her pokémon merely let out a couple soft growls, chuckling at her joke. She sat down near the edge of the river and placed her backpack beside her. The water type lied down onto the ground next to her, taking a break. She decided to get comfortable since she would be there for a bit in case anyone else decided to come around there. After about half an hour, while enjoying the fresh air and thinking, she got a call on her Poketch and picked it up. "Hey, what's up Daisy?"

A cheerful tone came from her sister's voice. "Not much. Like, just wanted to see when you're coming home. Kinda been worried lately. Like, remember those reports on the news? About the scientists who just vanished along with their research?"

"Yeah, I remember Daisy. Don't worry, I'll be careful. Plus I've got our strongest team with me. You know I always take them with me whenever I come here," said Misty, trying to soothe her older sister's worries.

Daisy let out a sigh. "Yeah, I know baby sis. Just can't help worry you know? Their kidnappings are still a mystery. Like, just be careful alright? You call us if you need anything."

"Thanks sis."

"Of course. Oh, almost forgot. Dinner is ready you know and Vi and Lil are already eating," informed her eldest sister.

"Oh okay, thanks. Just save me some okay? I already stopped one person from entering hell. I'm gonna stay a bit longer in case anyone else comes around the cave before coming home," she replied back.

"Got it and good job baby sis. And no other reason?" Misty went quiet at that. She couldn't see it but Daisy had a knowing grin form on the other end of the line. "Like, you know, to think about you know who huh?" she asked slyly.

The red head flushed pink, embarrassed. "Shut up Daisy."

Daisy laughed at her sister's reaction. "Oh come on, you know I'm just teasing. Like, I know Ash is a good guy. Cute too. You know he won't make the first move, being so dense like you always say." Hearing a sigh from Misty, Daisy knew she was right but also decided to have a little more fun. "You know what? Why don't you make him jealous a bit?"

"What?!" gasped Misty in surprise.

"Yeah, that'll probably work. Like, you could even use that guy who dropped by the other day. What was his name again? Rudy or something?"

"I can't stand him and no way in hell I'll do something like that!"

"Alright, alright, geez. Well, if you won't do something to catch his attention and if you're not gonna go after him…" Daisy trailed off, not saying anything more.

Misty started feeling anxious, her heat beating a little quicker. "What are you trying to say?" she asked.

Unknown to the redhead, her sister's smirk grew before she answered back. "Hmmm…there haven't been any decent guys my whole life. Like, if you don't make a move soon, even if he is younger than me, I will," stated Daisy.

Misty's fiery side caused her to explode at once over her words. "Don't you dare Daisy!" she yelled into the phone angrily as she stood up, shaking with rage. Her actions caused her pokémon to glance at his trainer to see what happened. Realizing what it was about, he lowered his head again.

Unable to control herself, Daisy laughed out loud over the outburst before responding back quickly so she wouldn't become angrier. "Oh relax, baby sis. Like, I'm just pulling your leg. I'd never do something like that to you. But you should tell him. Like, he won't be dense forever. Hopefully. And sooner or later, he will eventually get with a girl," advised the eldest Sensational Sister, hoping that her warning was heard. She was messing with her younger sister while at the same time trying the tough love approach in order to give her some courage to talk to him.

Understanding what she just did, Misty calmed down and sighed. "I should've known you were messing with me again," she replied as she sat back down on the ground and Daisy giggled some. "But how should I tell him? And when? What…what if he's already with someone?" she asked fearfully with the last question in a low voice.

Daisy sighed on the other end of the line and thought of what to say, becoming serious for the moment before answering her. "That's something you have to figure out yourself. Good or bad ending, at least you'll finally know." Hearing the red head let out another sigh, the blonde continued on. "Here's some more advice…like why not go for it the next time he calls or visits? Where is he by the way? It's been a while since he contacted you huh?"

Misty hung her head before talking back quietly. Though the Poketch was now near her mouth, Daisy barely heard her. "Yea, it's been a couple months already. I saw him when he came back from Kalos at his house during that big get together with everyone but that was it. Nothing since then."

"Hmm…well, you know him. Like, really know him Misty. How he gets in his training and travels. He'll come back. Like, he always does. So when he comes back, you'll tell him then. So chin up alright?" said Daisy kindly.

The red head had her lips curl upwards into a small smile. "Thanks Daisy. I'll be home within the hour. And don't forget to save me some dinner please." Daisy responded back saying she'll do that and they hung up. Misty brought her legs closer to her, wrapped her arms around them and placed her chin in between her knees. She thought of everything she and the raven haired young man had been through together. How they met, where they went on their travels together, how they became close friends, the crazy things that happened to them, how she developed feelings for him and everything else.

After some time, she came to a decision. While staying in that position, she opened up her list of contacts on her Poketch and scrolled through it. She selected his number but didn't call him just yet, her finger hovering over the 'Call' button. Taking in a breath through her nose, she then slowly let it out through her mouth. Here goes. Hitting the button, she became filled with anxiousness and nervousness but it was for nothing since the call wouldn't go through. What the… She tried again but again it was the same outcome. Why isn't it going through? Maybe the others might know something… She tried a few other numbers while sitting near the cave entrance.

She called her other close friend who also used to be a gym leader that she viewed as a brother. She even called some other friends of theirs, including a few other girls that had traveled with the raven haired trainer in the past that she met because of him. She wasn't able to reach all of them, even having some connections issues with one of them. And though she had suspicions that some of those girls might like him as well from the way they acted around him, she kept them to herself. Because even with suspicions, each of them was happy to hear from her and she was happy to catch up with them too, talking about many topics and what they've done in the past couple of months. But when she asked them if they had heard from their mutual friend recently, each of time gave a sullen reply and admitted that they hadn't and had no idea where he was. She finished up her calls soon and just stayed there, thinking a bit with her heart beating loudly in her ears.

Ash…where are you? Sometime later, seeing that no one else was coming by the area, she got up and so did her pokémon. Gyarados allowed her to sit on top of his head this time before he went into the river and made their way back home. As they went down the river, the youngest Sensational Sister became lost in thought. I wonder where he is now and what he's up to. I hope he's alright and that I see him again soon. And when I do, I'm gonna mallet him into the ground and give him a piece of my mind for not picking up the phone, not keeping in touch and for making me worry! As Misty made her way down the river to go back home, she thought up of ways to punish him for his lack of keeping touch.

Somewhere within the deepest part of Cerulean Cave, a powerful being sensed the red haired gym leader leaving. He did nothing when the red head arrived, while she stayed and even when she left because she wasn't a threat to him. He knew her from years ago but wondered sometimes if she remembered him at all. She was actually beneficial to him too, since she would make most would be explorers leave the cave alone. He would sense her from time to time whenever he was there since he viewed the cave as his home for many reasons. The biggest reason was because it was almost impossible to reach where he was, which is the deepest part of the cave labyrinth. The area helped him hide when it wanted to be left alone. He likes his solitude since he feels like it doesn't belong because of his origin. His solitude would also help him meditate after journeying around the world every now and then, keeping his senses sharp. And right now, this particular pokémon was in deep meditation after a quick journey through the Johto region while allowing his body to rest after his long flight.

Though he wasn't tired at all from his traveling, he knew that rest was important to stay strong. Even with his abnormal birth, he was proud of his feline like physique as there was nothing else like him and made sure to stay fit and healthy, even growing some more over the years. Standing tall at right about seven feet in height, this powerful organism had long and thin arms with three digit hands, thick powerful legs, a horn that protruded out on both sides of his head along with a narrow secondary neck like body part that came out from the rear of his head and connected to the top area of his back. His body was covered with fine lightly purple colored fur with a dark purple underbelly and a long dark purple tail. This being is the strongest psychic who has ever existed, being cloned from the legendary Mew and had its abilities augmented to incredible levels. This pokémon given birth by humans had been christened Mewtwo.

Mewtwo kept his meditative state for quite a long time until he finally did move. The purple feline's eyes snapped open as he sensed something all of a sudden. He called out into the darkness in front of him with its telepathic powers while facing the entrance to his sanctuary. "Who's there?" asked the legendary. No answer came from the darkness. He knew something was there, sensing it but he couldn't make out who or what exactly was there since they were shielded by something, preventing him from distinguishing them. "I know you're there. Show yourself or leave now before you anger me," he said. Again, no response. He took up a battle stance, a purple glowing outline appearing around him with his eyes glowing blue.

Before he was able to do anything else however, a bright white light erupted out of the darkness near the beginning of the area's entrance from the tunnel and sped towards him. Before the intense light engulfed him, he took up a defensive stance. A lightly purple colored psychic shield formed around him and he covered his eyes with his arms since the brightness was far too intense. After a few seconds of being unable to see through the blinding light, it began to slowly fade away. Sensing this, Mewtwo cracked open his eyes but kept his shield and guard up. When the light finally vanished, he opened his eyes fully. The first thing he noticed was that he was no longer in the cave. He realized he was transported against his will from home and he carefully took in his new surroundings to figure out where he had been taken to.

He was standing in an enormous hall that was very spacious, being roughly three times the size of an official pokémon stadium. It had evenly spaced out pillars lining the walls around him that had engravings on it of all the known legendary Pokémon. There was also a single, very large throne like chair with gold framing and red cushions on the other side of the vast hall in front of him. He stood quite still, waiting for his abductor to act. He did not want to make a foolish mistake by being caught off guard. He used his powers to try and locate the one or ones who brought him here.

"I'm surprised and a little disappointed that we were able to bring you here without any struggle whatsoever." A cocky voice was heard, echoing around the room. Mewtwo did not waver from his defensive position. He kept still, waiting to see what would happen. Instead, he focused his senses to pinpoint the location of the speaker and the rest who were with it. Now he knew there was more than one in the act because of the way the voice spoke. Nothing else was said for a few moments and during that time, he was able to finally distinguish who was there and where. "No response? Hmm…Looks like he's too scared to do anything!"cackled the voice.

"Wrong." And with that reply, Mewtwo shot off two bluish white energy balls, Aura Spheres, one to the right and the other to the left from his three digit hands. He then rapidly brought them together and launched a dark purple ball of energy, a Shadow Ball, directly in front of him. All three balls of energy were launched with such deadly speed that they exploded at the same time, having collided against their targets simultaneously. The explosions brought forth large smoke clouds that filled the area and the shockwaves caused some tremors to rock the enormous hall a bit from the sheer force.

Three different roars were heard from within the smoke. Three powerful multi colored beams of energy, Dragon Pulses, were launched from the unknown attackers within the smoke, speeding towards the psychic feline. Mewtwo increased power to his shield to reinforce it, sensing the amount of energy in the attacks. The pulses hit their mark and even though the shield was held, the attacks were so powerful that they caused him to rocket backwards. He slammed into the wall behind him, shield and all, causing a crater to form from the impact. Mewtwo's eyes bulged out a bit, feeling the impact yet was saved from most of the damage because of his shield. He pushed himself out of the crater and dropped down onto his feet. He moved forward and dismissed the shield before getting into a battle stance. He was readying himself to fight more offensively. However, he waited for the area to clear up and his attackers to show themselves.

The smoke slowly cleared and finally revealed his attacking abductors. They were the legendary reality dragon trio of Sinnoh! Dialga, the four legged blue and silver dragon and steel type pokémon who is the Lord of Time, stood to the left. Palkia, the bipedal purple and grayish white dragon and water type pokémon who is the Lord of Space, stood to the right. And finally, Giratina, the grey, red and black dragon and ghost type pokémon who is the Lord of Antimatter, stood in the middle.

Giratina moved a few steps closer towards the psychic feline, his two brothers following beside him. "Very impressive. How did you know there were three of us and where we were even while invisible?" asked the antimatter pokémon. He and his two brothers stopped with some distance between them and the psychic.

Mewtwo didn't immediately respond, thinking a mile a second. "I can sense where you are, even when you try to hide with your invisibility techniques." Even though he knew who the three were, respecting their power and statuses, he did not fear them. But he did wonder why they had brought him here. Deciding to find out while also testing them, he spoke with his telepathic powers. "Honestly, I expected more from you three for being basically deities. Pathetic," remarked the purple feline.

The Lord of space growled. "Why you arrogant bastard clone!" spat Palkia and launched another Dragon Pulse at Mewtwo.

Mewtwo scowled at the words. Before it struck him, he teleported out of the way at the last second and reappeared in the same spot. "Too slow and you will pay for that insult!" snapped Mewtwo before he launched another Aura Sphere. The sphere hit Palkia hard, causing him to move back, roaring with pain.

Seeing his brother get hit, Dialga roared in anger and launched a Flash Cannon at the psychic type. The purple feline's eyes glowed with a blue color. The stream of silver energy became engulfed with a purple outline around it and right before it hit its mark, stopped dead in its tracks. Mewtwo swung his arm to the side, which sent the attack back towards its user. Dialga's eyes grew wide in surprise, astonished that he was able to redirect his attack back to him and didn't react to it in time. The returned attack struck him in the chest, causing the blue dragon to be pushed back and let out sounds of pain.

Giratina at first didn't get involved, but after his brothers got attacked, he grew angry. It didn't matter to him that his brothers escalated the confrontation because of a petty remark. Nobody hurt his brothers. He was going to teach this arrogant psychic a lesson. "You'll pay for that!"roared Giratina and launched a full powered Shadow Ball at him.

Mewtwo brought up his psychic purple shield again, knowing he couldn't deflect it or teleport out of the way in time. The attack struck the shield but caused the powerful feline to soar back into the wall once again. He pushed himself off of it but levitated into the air, losing his calm demeanor to his rapidly rising fury. "How dare you! You enter my home unannounced, bring me to this place against my wishes, greet me with insults, and then try to punish me for defending myself! You will answer for your transgressions against me!" yelled Mewtwo. At the end of his statement, Mewtwo's eyes glowed blue and formed his psychic shield again. Then he brought up hundreds of tiny purple psychic energy balls around him, floating in the air near him. He clenched his three digit hands into fists, which caused them to condense sharply, getting them ready to launch at amazing speeds. More and more were appearing beside him with every passing second.

The reality trio witnessed Mewtwo ready his attack. They glanced at one another, and then with a curt nod to each other, they readied themselves for their counter attack. "No matter how powerful you are, you're still no match for us!" Giratina yelled back to the psychic feline. With this, the three dragons each began powering up a ball of white energy in front of their mouths, growing larger each second.

The purple legendary realized what they were up to and began to charge up his attack quicker and increased his shield's size. The dragon trio launched their Hyper Beams at the psychic feline at the same time he launched his Psystrike at them. Right before hitting him, Mewtwo made to teleport out of the way of the three potent beams but was prevented from doing so. Palkia had used its powers of space to distort the area around him to stop him teleporting away. Two of the white beams smashed against his shield, shattering his protective barrier. The purple feline was engulfed by the third attack, letting out a yell of agony. Each of the dragons however was struck by dozens and dozens of psychic bullets in return, causing them to cry out in anguish. It seemed that each time they were hit, the pain they felt was intensified. Because of the four incredible attacks, the hall was covered in smoke from the explosions. It cleared after a while to reveal four heavily wounded legendary pokémon.

The Lord of Time quickly used his ability to move faster than the purple feline and took this opportunity to fire a full powered Flash Cannon at Mewtwo. Before the psychic pokémon could react, it hit him in the chest, sending him flying backwards. He recovered in the air and stopped himself before teleporting to Dialga's side and launched a flurry of devastating strikes. The reality dragon cried out in pain from the onslaught until the psychic was struck hard, sending him back, stopping the Close Combat. Mewtwo retaliated against Palkia who stopped him from continuing his onslaught on Dialga with another Aura Sphere. Palkia went skidding back a few feet and Mewtwo turned to face Giratina in time to be slammed into by the large draconic ghost. Mewtwo felt incredible pain from the Phantom Force attack but immediately fired a point blank Ice Beam to its chest, making the antimatter deity scream, the icy attack hurting him.

The psychic feline put some distance between the three, maneuvering towards the throne like chair on the far side of the hall. The three dragons fired different attacks at him but he dodged each of them with his speed and by the skin of his teeth. He noticed the reality dragons weren't using their deity like abilities anymore. He knew that they had incredible power and he hated to admit it, but they were on another level compared to him. But Mewtwo was a bit disappointed since he was able to keep up with the three of them at once. Even while in the middle of a battle, his incredible mind thought up a few reasons as to why. Perhaps they hadn't been in a fight like this for a long time and they were starting to become exhausted. Or maybe it could be because of him using one of his most powerful attacks on them that would chip away at their endurance. Or it could even be the area they were at that was limiting their abilities. He didn't know exactly and couldn't figure it out. But he quickly pushed that aside at the moment. His foes were weakened but so was he. He had noticed that he too was beginning to show signs of tiredness. Each of the four was panting heavily and thinking that they had to end this soon.

Giratina straightened out after taking in some much needed breaths and spoke. "I must admit that I was wrong. You are stronger than you look. But you will not defeat us and will soon apologize for crossing us."

Mewtwo smirked. "Funny. I was about to say the same thing to you three." The dragons snarled and began charging up Draco Meteor attacks. The psychic's eyes narrowed and brought his hands together. A white ball of energy formed between his hands and he concentrated the energy within it. He still maintained his sight on the three dragons while powering up his Hyper Beam, seeing that they were almost ready themselves. He had to wait for his chance to strike, thinking that if he missed his opportunity, he wouldn't triumph.

Right before the four powerful legendaries were about to launch their attacks, they heard a booming voice from around them that echoed in the grand hall. "Enough." Even though that single word was spoken calmly, it came from such a tone of voice that it commanded respect and obedience. The dragon trio quickly stopped charging their attacks, which dissipated into thin air and stood up straight, motionless. Mewtwo stopped charging his attack as well, the white ball of energy disappearing but brought out his shield again just in case. He was no fool and would rather be cautious than blindly trusting another. "You can relax," said the same voice coming from behind Mewtwo, making the bipedal feline turn around towards the throne like chair.

With that greeting, Arceus, the Original One who was God and Lord over all in the universe, appeared out of thin air, right in front of a stunned Mewtwo. The white centaur like pokémon with a gold wheel like protrusion around the middle of its body looked at the psychic for a moment before speaking again through telepathy. "Hello Mewtwo. I have something I would like to discuss with you,"revealed the Alpha Pokémon calmly. Arceus waited a moment before he turned away from Mewtwo and gracefully moved towards its throne. He half sat and half lied down on it before facing the purple psychic feline, waiting for his response.
