Sofia giggled as she pulled Prince Hugo onto the ice skating rink. Sofia knew very well how God awful he was at Ice Dancing at first, so obviously this would be hilarious.
He wobbled around a little bit before balancing, his arms straight out. "You can't leave me like this Sofia," Hogo chuckled as he tried reaching for the princess.
"Don't be scared." Sofia held his hands, holding them straight down as she pressed her body against his, hoping she wouldn't accidentally knock him over.
"Why? What about this isn't scary to you?" Hugo slowly reached her face closer to hers, their cold noses touching.
"Well, I've actually done it before…" She said as she looked down at his lips, smiling cutely. "Plus…it's funny watching you lose your balance and fall," Princess Sofia teased, quickly pecking him on the lips and pushing herself backward, leaving the prince on his own.
She watched as Hugo's adorable grin turned to a frown real fast. Sofia laughed, feeling slightly bad for him. She definitely wasn't getting any cuddles tonight, that was for sure.
Hugo grabbed onto the bar beside him and slowly pushed his way toward his girlfriend, with lots of struggle, of course. As soon as he got to her, he furrowed his eyebrows and frowned.
Sofia stuck her tongue out mockingly, laughing after. "You having fun?"
Hugo sighed, grinning as she asked. "Yep. My favorite Christmas thing to do, that for sure," The Prince sarcastically said, making Sofia giggle.
Sofia looked into his eyes. She loved him. She really did. To him, this felt like torture and her just being mean. But to her, she was just having fun with him. Sofia noticed his ears were more red than before, clearly from the cold.
"Here," The Princess skated closer, taking her soft beanie off and putting it on him, making sure it covered his ears. She expected him to complain about his hair getting ruined or how she needed it more, but instead Hugo blushed and looked down, not saying a single word. "You're ears are cold."
"I know…" Hugo chuckled, readjusting the beanie.
Now Sofia was slightly upset he didn't tell her. She playfully hit his shoulder, causing him to almost fall backward.
"You didn't tell me?" She scoffed, a big smile on her face as Prince Hugo laughed. "I had another one in the damn carriage."
"Uhh…Sorry?"
"Whatever, it's fine." The Princess wrapped her arms around Hugo, holding him up so he wouldn't fall. Hugo tightly held her. Their cheeks smooshed together. Sofia could feel Hugo smile as they touched. It was warm and soft. The entire day had been cold and snowy, so this was just comforting to feel.
Sofia got out of his arms and slowly started backing away. She knew he was slow, so leaving him there to try to get to her was hilarious. Sofia laughed and watched him struggle, he even fell a couple of times, making her laugh harder.
"You've got this, baby!" The princess yelled through laughs as Hugo fell, not finding it funny at all.
