"I think it's over," he said.

"I think it's just the beginning," Daphne replied, turning her bright green eyes on him and smiling.

"AAAHHHHOOOOOO!" The wolf's howl was so close that Harry and Daphne shuddered in fear. Then more howls echoed around them, closing in.

"Let's go!"

Harry broke into a run, and Daphne ran alongside him. Thin branches and hanging vines slapped against their arms and legs as they raced down the narrow lane. Then they burst into an orchard, the bright moon guiding their way. In the distance, warm, inviting lights from a cottage were visible. A sudden snap of jaws at Daphne's heel caused her to trip. She rolled and got back to her feet, cutlass in hand. "Leave me!" she shouted, turning to face the werewolf that had tripped her, now circling to finish her off.

Harry turned to help her, but two more werewolves charged at his heels, one on each side. He was bitten in the thigh, but he managed to fend off both. Daphne struck her attacker with her club, but the chain belt got tangled in its greasy fur, and the beast turned back on her. Daphne watched in horror, her limbs feeling like lead as she moved forward, knowing she was too slow to help.

The beast's jaws snapped at the girl, sinking its teeth into her forearm. Harry was there, plunging his sword into the werewolf's tough hide, piercing its heart. The beast released its grip, blood gushing from the puncture wounds, and fell to the ground, dead.

Daphne pressed her arm to her chest, retreating to Harry with the sheath held in one hand as first two, then three, then seven monsters circled them. Slowly, they closed the ring, growling jaws tearing the air, mocking their prey.

Harry saw their death in the approaching attack, knowing there was no way they could both survive without further injuries, and feared what so many fatal wounds would do to them.

Just then, he noticed a flickering light coming from the direction of the house. It grew closer, casting weak, golden beams of light toward them. When a wolf crossed those beams, it screamed in pain and changed direction. Harry saw that it was a lantern's light, cast in a tight beam, swaying back and forth. Grabbing Daphne, he ran toward the light, hearing the furious growls and snapping jaws nipping at their heels from the shadows. Then they were in the light, feeling as if they were bathed in pure sunlight, and the sounds of growling faded.

"Come quickly," said a sweet-sounding voice, "the light won't last long!"

Three massive figures helped them, and soon they crossed the threshold of the gate and stumbled into a wild and untamed garden. Then they all rushed into the warm interior of the cottage, outside which the night filled with the howling of frustrated wolves.

Harry and Daphne stood, the girl clutching her bloody arm to her chest, catching their breath and looking around. This cottage was well-known to every child in town as haunted, but now, as Harry looked around, it did not seem as he had imagined from the outside.

They stood in a richly decorated foyer, which opened into a large living room with elegant sofas and chairs arranged around a massive fireplace. The house was lit with warm candlelight, and the walls were covered with paintings that looked like perfect copies of masterpieces.

Their three rescuers were just removing the voluminous black cloaks that covered them from head to toe. In their loose garments, they looked like old women, hunched and plump. Harry felt his palms sweat and his mouth go dry as three breathtaking women emerged from the cloaks.

Each of them was a stunning angel. They wore form-fitting dresses of flowing silk, each in a different color. The dresses were strapless and had deep necklines that drew his gaze to three sets of massive cleavages, barely contained by the dresses. Narcissa's blond hair dazzled in loose curls, and her eyes smiled as they met his, then filled with concern as she looked at Daphne.

The girl stared at the three beauties in awe, a strangled sound escaping her throat as she was confronted not only with the most beautiful woman she had ever seen but also with two others who were equally magnificent and alluring.

The other two women had similar bodies to Narcissa and the same pale blue eyes, but the similarities ended there. The raven-haired beauty had thick, seductive lips, a sharp chin, and cheekbones, and an aquiline nose that spoke of noble heritage. Her eyes roamed Harry's face with fascination, then moved to the sword in his hands, gleaming with curiosity and other suppressed emotions.

The redhead also smiled at Harry, but not with curiosity like the raven-haired woman. Her eyes were full of heat, and her chest heaved. She ignored Daphne and the others, slowly approaching him. Harry stepped back as the redhead neared him, glancing at Narcissa and Daphne for help. For a moment, he forgot about the sword in his hand, then about everything else as the redhead pressed her body to his. Her sublime curves made him shiver. He felt her massive breasts pressing against his chest, and his manhood swelled with desire.

Her smile of adoration twisted into delight as she felt his response. Then, her delicate hands slid over his back and wove into the hair at the back of his head. Her perfect blue eyes captivated him with their beauty. Her thick lips parted, and he leaned in towards her. It felt like a dream. Then their lips met, and the kiss sent fireworks of emotions through his brain, his free hand sliding down her back, pulling her even closer. His blood boiled, and a wild passion, unlike anything he had ever felt before, surged within him.

"Eek!" The sound of shock escaped from Daphne's mouth, startling her. She watched her tall classmate and the stunning older woman embracing. For a moment, she forgot the pain in her arm. One long kiss, the woman's moan of desire, made her blush. She glanced at the other two women and saw that both were smiling with pride and passion that matched her own as they observed the display.

Then the redhead pulled back, gasping for breath and breathing deeply. "Oh my, oh my..." She stepped back, slightly unsteady on her heels, pressing one hand to her chest, causing delightful things to happen to her breasts. "I just wanted to thank you for saving my sister's life last night, but that was... I never thought you could feel so much from a kiss... it's magic I never dreamed of... sisters, you simply must taste him."

"There will be time for that later, Andromeda," said Bellatrix in a serious tone, moving to a large dining table. She pulled a small leather pouch from a tiny handbag and held it in her hand as if weighing its contents.

Harry was still recovering from Andromeda's kiss, his heart racing. His eyes met Narcissa's, and he felt the warmth of her smile of admiration and the warm promise within it. Then he looked at Daphne and saw that the girl was stunned, more than a little intrigued, and perhaps a bit jealous.

"Focus, sisters," said the raven-haired woman, rattling the small leather bag in her hand, "We must ensure the wards remain strong. After last night, I will not rely on faith alone."

She poured the contents onto the table, and Harry saw they were pale bones with unique patterns. Seven in total, each a different shape and color, covered in strange symbols and images. When they settled, Harry noticed with a shiver that they were carved from bone.

The woman scanned the bones, smoothing the table's surface with one long fingernail, standing in deep concentration. Her sisters gathered close, worry etched on their faces. After a long moment, all three women sighed with relief.

"The pack roams at night," said Narcissa, looking at Harry with a relieved smile, "but they won't find the entrance to our lair."

"We are safe for the night, the hand that moves them is far to the north, still hidden from our lady's gaze," said the raven-haired woman, her intelligent blue eyes finally resting on Harry.

"Leaving us free to get into all sorts of trouble!" said Andromeda with a smile.

"Andromeda, fetch the wine," said Bellatrix, "Narcissa, get the bandages and antitoxin for the young woman; I think she has bled on our floor enough for one night." The dark-haired woman looked at Harry with a slight frown, "Young Harry and I have much to discuss."

"You're not a professor," said Daphne, her shoulders slumping slightly as the three stunning and confident older women looked at her, "are you?"

"Oh, but I am," said the blonde, gathering bandages and potions, her smile both kind and mysterious, "among other things..."

"Please, everyone, take your seats," said the dark-haired woman, pointing to the large dining table.
